Well, the waiting is over, Joe Biden (or the Democrat insiders) has chosen Senator Kamala Harris as his running mate.  The question is, will she enhance the Biden ticket or will she be a dud and flame out like she did during the Democrat primary?

During the primary, she started off with a bang with an estimated 20,000 people rally in her hometown of Oakland, California.  But, as it turned out, it was just a flash in the pan introduction that went downhill from there.

As our headline implies, Kamala Harris has a lot baggage to haul around as a campaigner for Vice-President on the Joe Biden ticket.  Let’s see how she has gotten to the position where she finds herself today, and what is the baggage she is carrying around.

For starters, she was a protegé of former San Francisco Mayor and Speaker of the California Assembly, Willie Brown, who was also known as her paramour as she advanced up the political ladder in California.  She began her career as a deputy district attorney in Alameda County, California where she met Willie Brown.

Subsequently, she became part of the San Francisco Attorney’s Division of Families and children.  In 2003, she was elected as District Attorney of San Francisco. She held that office till 2011.

From there she was elected to be Attorney General of California.  She held that position from 2012 to 2017.  In 2016, she ran for the U.S. Senate seat of Barbara Boxer who stepped down.  She was elected as the junior senator of California from 2017 to the present.

Her position of senator, in the largest state in the union, catapulted her into throwing her hat into the ring to attempt to become the Democrat nominee as president for 2020.

Her major attraction as a candidate is that she is a minority woman (she’s half Asian and black) which today seems to be a plus in our race conscious society.

Her presidential campaign, after an early rush of enthusiasm, petered out as she couldn’t last in the primary field to make it to her own state’s primary.

She had few moments of fame in one of the debates when she went after (her now running mate) by implying that he was a racist by accusing him of being pals with segregationist fellow senators and by being against busing of minority school children.  As a counter to her rant, fellow candidate, Representative Tulsi Gabbert of Hawaii, accused Kamala Harris of being overly harsh on certain criminals while she was Attorney General.  From there it was downhill for her campaign.  She was only able to get 2% of the delegates which placed her 8th in the field of candidates.

In addition, her theatrics during the confirmation hearing of of Judge Brett Kavanaugh, brought many negative comments about how she used her law enforcement legal skills in her interrogation of Judge Kavanaugh.  She sided with Kavanaugh’s accuser before all the facts came out, and which later on, the accuser’s account was discredited by most people as being untrustworthy. She also, during an interview with a talk show host, laughed about using marijuana, when she was accused by her critics of being overly tough on marijuana users in her capacity as Attorney General.  She was accused of being a hypocrite and a phony.

Her record in the U.S. Senate has been rated as being the most liberal senator of the 100 senators, which sort of challenges her claim of being a moderate.

Her positions on the following issues, such as being a sponsor of the Green New Deal, her being in favor of “Sanctuary Cities”, her being in favor of giving illegal aliens health care and citizenship, her support of late term abortion, and her favoring of getting rid of the Trump tax cuts, are all policies that create a lot of the baggage that she carries with her as a Vice- President nominee.  Along with the change of policy positions of Joe Biden, as he tries to win over the Bernie Sanders supporters, she compliments him as being a far-left “Progressive”, instead of being the moderate that her friends in the media are trying to convince us into thinking she is.

So, in conclusion, we won’t know if the baggage Kamala Harris brings to the Biden ticket will help them or hurt them until we find out on election day.  I say it doesn’t really matter as I think President Trump will win in a landslide come November regardless.

They’re calling her Biden’s pick but Kamala Harris is not the cognitive-challenged Joe’s pick but the Democrats’ one.

As it turns out Harris’ career would have remained on arid ground without boosts from politically powerful males.

“…Brown goes on to address the fact that he appointed Harris, who was just a few years out of law school and working at the Alameda County district attorney’s office, to two well-paid posts on California state commissions and later helped her in her first election.

“Yes, I may have influenced her career by appointing her to two state commissions when I was Assembly speaker,” he writes. “And I certainly helped with her first race for district attorney in San Francisco.”

“The two reportedly broke up in December 1995 just before he became mayor, but he remained a political ally.”

Planned Parenthood is one of Kamala Harris’ biggest contributors. She owed them,  and it was Harris who, as California’Attorney General, moved in to shut down undercover journalist David Daleiden whose expose shed light on PP illegally trafficking baby parts:

“In 2014, David Daleiden and the Center for Medical Progress (CMP) released a slew of undercover sting videos showing Planned Parenthood staff admitting to selling aborted baby body parts for profit, with one even joking about buying a Lamborghini with the profits. Planned Parenthood hired the firm Fusion GPS, now notorious for assembling the Trump-Russia dossier, to obscure the facts and suggest the videos were deceptively edited. (PJ Media, Aug. 11, 2020)

“Kamala Harris, who has received at least $81,000 from Planned Parenthood, was serving as California’s attorney general at the time. In 2016, her office searched Daleiden’s home, seizing his video footage and preparing a legal case against him.

“Peter Breen, special counsel at the Thomas More Society, briefed PJ Media on the ongoing case last July. He argued that Daleiden’s filming was taken in “entirely public places.”

“I could point you to undercover investigations that are being shown on the evening news in Los Angeles. Under the standard they are applying to David, those would be felonies,” the lawyer argued. “The other reporters are being lauded for their brave investigative techniques, but David is being prosecuted.”

“I would say this is an abuse of the criminal process,” Breen told PJ Media.

Besides masterful publicity stunts, this is what Harris stands for.

“She supports, among other things: the economy-killing Green New Deal, Medicare for All (ending private health insurance), open borders, late-term abortions (whether states want it or not), and the confiscation of private weapons (the death of the 2nd Amendment). (Issues & Insights)

Little wonder why her biggest boosters now are the Obamas and the Clintons.

When Harris started off on the 2020 presidential campaign trail she was one of 28 Democrat contenders Canada Free Press called the “car full of crazies”.

Her boasts about her own fearlessness were epic:

“I have taken on Jeff Sessions, I’ve taken on Bill Barr, I have taken on Brett Kavanaugh,” Harris said in her final Democratic debate. “I know I have the ability to do that.” (LA Times, Dec. 4, 2019)

Early last December she abandoned her campaign citing a “lack of money”.

But the real reason more honestly stated should have been that her campaign had to be cancelled due to a lack of public interest.

“Harris, looking more lighthearted than she had in weeks, shimmied and sang along as a Beyoncé song played. Its title: “Before I Let Go.”

Until Biden boosted her back up again by announcing she was his VP pick, Harris was the ‘Dancing Queen’.

Was the reason she looked “more lighthearted than she had in weeks” as she “shimmied and sang along to the Beyoncé song because she knew—even back then—that Biden would first get the Democrat nod and then choose her as his VP running mate?

Two clues that she must have seen her future include having her face redone and having her Wikipedia page edited before Biden’s announcement.

How long did ‘Dancing Queen’ Kamala Harris know that she would be Biden’s FP pick?

Looks like she, the Clintons and the Obamas knew long before Biden ever did.

Those watching the Democrat convention—complete with 1,000 VIRTUAL cheering crowds—are going to be black and blue from pinching themselves to check on reality while watching.

The completely virtual Convention will beat by far the histrionics put on display by the annual Academy Awards.

Some of the players in this Biggest Show On Earth are straight out of the Vaudeville acts of old.

There’s ex-Ohio Governor ‘Brother’ John Kasich, who will tell evangelicals that supporting Trump is “not consistent with Biblical teachings” and that abortion supporting Joe Biden ’Is a man of Deep Faith’.

“Anchor Erin Burnett asked, “So Southern Baptist Minister, he is ordained, Mike Huckabee said the other day in part, ‘I don’t know if anybody, people of faith who think Joe Biden is a great choice. I tell you they’re not going to go with Biden. That’s not an option.’ What do you say?

“Kasich said, “Well, I’m clued in to a lot of people of faith, a number of them, who are very happy that I’m making this decision. I can give you names. I don’t want to say it on the air, but I can give you names of them if we have to come back and do that. And the fact is, you know, the faith is a matter of your personal relationship. And so I don’t know why that’s been said about Joe. I think he is a man of faith.”

Yeah, right, Brother John.

Next comes National Catholic Reporter-dubbed “future of the Catholic Church” Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who will give a digital shoutout to the Democrat Echo Chamber:

“A senior Democratic official confirmed to Fox News that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will make a prime-time appearance at next week’s Democratic National Convention.

“The first-term progressive congresswoman from New York will be part of a group nominating Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont at the convention next Tuesday night. Ocasio-Cortez was a supporter and high-profile surrogate for the populist senator during the 2020 Democratic presidential primaries, as Sanders made his second White House bid.” (Fox News, Aug. 11, 2020)

The media-suppressed unwashed have long considered the Vermont senator as a Commie.

If anyone’s really interested, Ocasio-Cortez will also be featured in a video that’s scheduled to be aired as part of Wednesday night’s programming, in news that was first reported by CNN.

“The effort to nominate Sanders – who already dropped out of the race – will be a mere formality, since Joe Biden has won enough delegates to clinch the party’s nomination. (Fox News)

“Ocasio-Cortez said in April – after Sanders suspended his campaign and endorsed Biden – that she would vote for the former vice president. She co-chaired (along with former Secretary of State John Kerry) the unity task force on climate change that was set up in May by Biden and Sanders.”

“The Democratic convention will be anchored in Milwaukee, Wis., but nearly all the speakers will be virtual. It will be held next Monday through Thursday, Aug. 17-20. The convention programming will be held in prime time, from 9 p.m. to 11 p.m. ET, and streamed online on a variety of different sites and broadcast on TV.

“Party officials also announced that nearly 1,000 crowdsourced videos from the roughly 4,000 Democratic convention delegates and other Americans will be featured during the four nights of prime-time programming. And they spotlighted that “over the course of 30 minutes, the reimagined roll call process will take convention viewers to all 57 states and territories.”

“The formal vote on the former vice president’s nomination as Democratic Party standard-bearer – and the vote on the party’s platform – will be conducted virtually with delegates from across the country.

“Biden will speak next Thursday evening, the final night of the convention, with his running mate giving her address the previous evening.”

Biden’s running mate will be a “her” because there are no males in the VP contender lineup.

…”Progressive Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts – another former 2020 Democratic presidential contender – and 2016 Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton – will also reportedly speak next week.

There we go again with a second Fox News description of Sanders as a “populist” senator.

Fox News re-imaging Sanders as a “populist” makes about as much sense as Chuck Schumer’s claim that Trump ‘Gets these little bugs in his head that have nothing to do with reality’.

“MSNBC “Morning Joe” host Joe Scarborough asked Schumer about Trump surrounding himself with “yes” men and “wreaking havoc” on the U.S. Postal Service by pushing back against having vote-by-mail for the upcoming presidential election.

“Schumer said Trump “gets these little bugs in his head that have nothing to do with reality” and no one in his administration tells him the truth.”

Meanwhile, the only truth that will be seen for any watching the DNC will be how the desperado Dems have gone certifiably insane.

For Democrats, society being holed up at home in the Coronavirus lockdown will never seem so lucky.
