Biden Tries Blaming Russia for White House Energy Policy and Inflation

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on June 10, 2022

It’s worth paying attention to where and when Joe Biden is standing when he makes his ridiculous economic claims today about Russia being the cause of the energy policy from the White House.

Do not let it go unnoticed that it’s June, the last month of the second quarter for economic data.  Do not let it pass your reference that Joe Biden is speaking from the Port of Los Angeles (POLA) as he spins his nonsense about the inflation, he alone is responsible for.  And do not overlook the attendee mentioned in this subtle statement, “And, John, I can’t thank you.  You’re — you’re the real deal.  Anybody — well, I won’t get into — get you in trouble, but thanks for sticking up for me.”

John” is the White House Port Envoy John D Porcari. A severely partisan former Obama official who was selected by Joe Biden to lead the fraudulent effort to improve supply chains when the White House was under assault in the fall of 2021.  Porcari was the person who designed “operation hide the ships” to give the illusion of port efficiency improvement, and it is almost a certainty that it was Porcari who leveraged his influence with the POLA to hold back the December 2021 import data in order to try and improve the GDP statistics.  {GO DEEP}

A recession is defined as two consecutive quarters with negative GDP growth.  The first quarter of 2022 was -1.5% as detailed by the Bureau of Economic Analysis.  That means if April, May and June 2022 are also negative GDP then we are factually in an economic recession.   That makes this month, June 2022, critical for Joe Biden.  The White House will do anything to avoid that label appearing on their economic policy when the reporting is released at the end of July.

So it’s June, the last month of the second quarter…. and Joe Biden is giving a speech from the Port of Los Angeles….. and the White House will do anything and everything to avoid that “economic recession” label.  What does that mean?   That means it’s time for John Porcari to work his magic influence again and get the POLA import data held back and delayed so that it is not deducted from the GDP.

In November and December of 2021, it was Transportation Secretary Peter Buttigieg and John Porcari visiting the POLA, Port of Long Beach and the Port of Oakland to deploy operation “hide the ships” {SEE HERE}.  Then the December import data from the Port of Los Angeles was withheld an extra month until after the GDP data was assembled.

I think we can all see where this is going.

As we saw from the BEA second review of the first quarter: (1) U.S. inflation was revised upward (prices increased); (2) the estimate of calculated inventories was lowered; (3) the estimate of consumer spending was raised (inflation issue); which leads to (4) a massive drop in the calculation of disposable incomes.  [See the Change Table]

This table shows where the revisions are located:

Look at the revision to disposable incomes:

The Joe Biden’s economic policy, specifically his kamikaze energy policy within the Green New Deal agenda, is literally: (a) draining our savings and bank accounts, and (b) increasing our personal debt as we struggle to survive his intentionally created higher prices.

Joe Biden is gaslighting us into serfdom.

May Inflation Higher Than all Expectations at 8.6 Percent, Energy, Gasoline, Food Prices Continue Climbing

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on June 10, 2022 | Sundance

The Bureau of Labor and Statistics has released the May inflation report [DATA HERE] showing a 1.0% increase in the month of May, bringing the rate of inflation to 8.6 percent.  The highest rate of inflation in over 40 years.

This month of inflation data is particularly important because it cycles through the May 2021 calendar comparison from last year when the first wave of massive inflation first triggered.  The current year-over-year 8.6% rate of inflation now lands atop twelve months of massive increases in prices.

The data clearly shows how energy costs are the dominant factor hitting every aspect of consumer purchasing.  Gasoline increased 4.1% for the month, 48.7% year-over-year.  Fuel Oil increased 16.9% in May, 106.7% year over year.

The energy sector is crushing the ability of consumers to spend on anything else.   Real wages declined in May 0.6% as paychecks are being eaten up by massive inflation.  On an annual basis wages have declined by 4% year-over-year [BLS DATA].

Unfortunately, there is no forward optimism for any change in energy policy from the Joe Biden White House, that means energy costs will continue skyrocketing as the ideologues in control of the administration push their climate change Green New Deal policies.

Additionally, we still have the third wave of massive food price increases to look forward to later in the summer as the big increases in field costs start to reach the supermarket.  Those food store increases will average around 20 to 30% more than current.

Table-2 gives you a great breakdown of the price increases in specific sectors within each of the larger categories.  [SEE HERE] Eggs increased 5% in May, that’s a 60% annualized rate of inflation for eggs, which are already 32% more than last year.  Chicken is exceeding 30% inflation and growing.

A CNBC media report is below, as Wall Street laments the Fed response. However, the Fed cannot do anything to stop this inflation because what’s needed is a total reversal of U.S. energy policy.

[CNBC] – ““It’s hard to look at May’s inflation data and not be disappointed,” said Morning Consult’s chief economist, John Leer. “We’re just not yet seeing any signs that we’re in the clear.”

Some of the biggest increases came in airfares (up 12.6% on the month), used cars and trucks (1.8%), and dairy products (2.9%). The vehicle costs had been considered a bellwether of the inflation surge and had been falling for the past three months, so the increase is a potentially ominous sign, as used vehicle prices are now up 16.1% over the past year. New vehicle prices rose 1% in May.

Friday’s numbers dented hopes that inflation may have peaked and adds to fears that the U.S. economy is nearing a recession.

The inflation report comes with the Federal Reserve in the early stages of a rate-hiking campaign to slow growth and bring down prices. May’s report likely solidifies the likelihood of multiple 50 basis point interest rate increases ahead.

“Obviously, nothing is good in this report,” said Julian Brigden, president of MI2 Partners, a global macroeconomic research firm. “There is nothing in there that’s going to give the Fed any cheer. … I struggle to see how the Fed can back off.”

With 75 basis points of interest rate rises already under its belt, markets widely expect the Fed to continue tightening policy through the year and possibly into 2023. The central bank’s benchmark short-term borrowing rate is currently anchored around 0.75% -1% and is expected to rise to 2.75%-3% by the end of the year, according to CME Group estimates. Senator Josh Hawley Reveals DHS Emails Showing Coordinated Effort for Govt to use Big Tech to Censor American Speech

From the moment the DHS disinformation governance board was discovered it was obvious the agency was created in order for Homeland Security to partner with social media platforms to control, monitor and track the speech of American citizens.  DHS denied that was the intent; however, Senator Josh Hawley has discovered emails showing all suspicions were accurate.

Senator Hawley appeared on Tucker Carlson Wednesday night to discuss. WATCH:

San Francisco Voters Recall District Attorney Chesa Boudin, Signals Trouble for Democrat Socialists

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on June 8, 2022 | Sundance

It wasn’t close. 60 percent of San Francisco voters voted to recall Chesa Boudin, a former public defender who became district attorney in 2019 in a huge win for the progressive/communist left.

Mr. Boudin promised when he took office that “the tough-on-crime policies were on their way out.” However, his tenure saw a massive increase in crime and the San Francisco victims took him out.

SAN FRANCISCO—San Francisco District Attorney Chesa Boudin was recalled Tuesday in a blow to the progressive prosecutors movement.

Voters strongly endorsed ousting the reform-minded D.A. as partial returns showed about 60% of voters supporting the recall, the Associated Press said.

Mr. Boudin and other progressive prosecutors around the country have pursued goals such as sending nonviolent drug offenders to treatment instead of jail, sparing juveniles from being prosecuted as adults and scrutinizing police misconduct.

Political consultants and law-enforcement officials say the recall of Mr. Boudin in this left-leaning city signals a broader voter backlash against the movement amid rising violent crime over the past two years. (read more)

California Man Intercepted One Block from Justice Kavanaugh Home, Tells Police He Wanted to Kill Brett Kavanaugh

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on June 8, 2022 | Sundance

Everything about this story is suspicious.  A California man travels all the way to Maryland only to be intercepted by unnamed police at 1:50am, and then admits he was intent on killing Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh because he was angry about the possibility of SCOTUS overturning Roe -v- Wade.  Uh huh.

The first indicator something is sketchy is the WaPo with the breaking news. The second indicator is Peter Strzoks BFF journalist Devlin Barrett with the story.  Assuming the U.S. Marshals office still holds some credibility, the Occam’ Razor of the sourcing would indicate it’s the FBI delivering the information to the Washington Post.

WASHINGTON – A California man carrying at least one weapon near Brett M. Kavanaugh’s Maryland home has been taken into custody by police after telling officers he wanted to kill the Supreme Court justice, according to people familiar with the investigation.

The man, described as being in his mid-20s, was found to be carrying at least one weapon and burglary tools, these people said, speaking on the condition of anonymity to discuss an ongoing investigation. Police were apparently notified that the person might pose a threat to the justice, but it was not immediately clear who provided the initial tip, these people said. The man apparently did not make it onto Kavanaugh’s property in Montgomery County but was stopped on a nearby street, these people said.

Two people familiar with the investigation said the initial evidence indicates that the man was angry about the leaked draft of an opinion by the Supreme Court signaling that the court is preparing to overturn Roe. v. Wade, the 49-year-old decision that guaranteed the constitutional right to have an abortion. He was also angry over a recent spate of mass shootings, these people said.

The man was arrested at about 1:50 a.m. today, Supreme Court spokeswoman Patricia McCabe said in a statement.

“The man was armed and made threats against Justice Kavanaugh,” McCabe said. “He was transported to Montgomery County Police 2nd District.” (read more)

Looks to me like someone wants to keep the Supreme Court abortion story in the mind of the electorate.  Perhaps the political benefit was wearing off, so they needed to restir the pot.   Regardless of what is behind the story, things are certainly not as they appear at face value.

The Clinton Body Count Rises

Armstrong Economics Blog/Corruption Re-Posted Jun 8, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

I reported last month that a former Clinton advisor, Mark Middleton, was reportedly found dead under mysterious circumstances. Middleton was the original link between Bill Clinton and Jeffrey Epstein. Days after Ghislaine Maxwell revealed she would unveil her client list for a reduced sentence, Middleton suddenly died at the age of 59.

The cause of death has now been “confirmed” as suicide. Middleton allegedly managed to hang himself from a tree and simultaneously shoot himself with a shotgun. How is this even possible? Those who examined the crime scene said that there was little blood found at the scene, despite him having a shotgun wound to his chest. In addition to the bullet wound, he created “makeshift gallows” beneath the tree in case the blow to the chest did not work.

His body was found at a ranch that he had allegedly never visited previously 30 miles from his home. “I don’t know the man, and I don’t why he picked our county or picked that location to commit suicide. To our knowledge, he had never been there before, and we have no record of him being there before,” the sheriff investigating the case told RadarOnline. “He died from a self-inflicted shotgun wound to the chest. He found a tree and he pulled a table over there, and he got on that table, and he took an extension cord and put it around a limb, put it around his neck and he shot himself in the chest with a shotgun.”

The sheriff is convinced it was a self-inflicted wound, and there will be no investigation. They are trying to erase any photographs of the crime scene, and the Middleton family admitted to being harassed since his death. Mark Middleton left politics long ago after the Clintons banished him. He ran an air conditioning business and has not been in the news since the 90s. He did not leave a note behind or explanation for his violent suicide, but he did leave behind a wife and two children. I find it hard to believe that this was a suicide. The Clintons are extremely dangerous people, and too many associates with incriminating evidence against them have been found dead for it to be all a conspiracy theory or coincidence.

Interesting Video, A Walk Through a Russian Supermarket

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on June 7, 2022 | Sundance

I found this 8-minute video to be quite interesting.  As we consider the scale of food price increase in the United States, this video of a Russian supermarket yesterday is fascinating.

Considering the sanctions levied upon Russia by the western alliance, it would appear that they are coping quite nicely.  The guy who uploaded the video shares, “I took my camera with me on a quick Beer run to give you folks an idea of what a small local supermarket in a village South of Saint Petersburg, Russia looks like. How do the prices compare to where you live?”  WATCH:

This is the kind of real information the U.S. media would never mention.

White House Asks Hollywood Actor Matthew McConaughey to Take Point on New Gun Legislation

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on June 7, 2022 | Sundance

The American public’s opinion of Joe Biden is worse than any former occupant of the oval office. Biden is in a competition with Jimmy Carter for the worst economic policy in our nation’s history. With polling that low, he cannot weigh in on anything of importance – especially gun control legislation.

It appears the White House has chosen to use Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey as the point person for new legislation in the aftermath of the Uvalde school shooting. McConaughey is a native of Uvalde and delivered an impassioned speech earlier today from the White House. WATCH:

.

The basic framework of new legislation looks like a raising of the age from 18 to 21 to purchase an AR-style rifle, increased investment in mental health, and federal “red flag” laws.  Of the proposals the “red flag” laws are the most problematic.

We have seen how ideologues in social media operate.  It is not a stretch to predict in today’s DOJ, they would accept a “red flag” list of Trump supporters from a social media site moderator and send out the ATF swat team.  However, well intentioned he might be, Mr. McConoughey is wrong on the red flag component.

Leaders of Latin-America Nations, Mexico, Bolivia, Guatemala and Honduras Boycott Joe Biden’s Latin-America Summit

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on June 6, 2022 | Sundance

Within the same 30-day cycle Joe Biden asked Venezuela to produce and deliver more oil in order to help him politically.  The Venezuelan government, having been the subject of an attempted coup and sanctions driven by the DC interventionist mindset, refused to assist.  Joe Biden then refused to invite Venezuela to his Latin-America summit scheduled for this week.

Latin-America leaders are not stupid.  It doesn’t matter whether the self-interested bully comes from the east or the west, they are not blind to the parasitic self-interest contained within the blackmail of any larger nations on the geopolitical stage; especially as the cleaving of the west and east is taking place with increased ferocity.

Today Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez-Obrador announced he will not attend Joe Biden’s Latin-America summit.

AMLO joins the leaders of Bolivia, Guatemala, Honduras and the tiny Caribbean state of St. Vincent in refusing to attend the summit because Cuba, Venezuela and Nicaragua were blocked from attending by the Biden administration.

(Via Wall Street Journal) – […] After weeks of wrangling over the issue amid threats of country boycotts, the administration excluded the three autocracies due to U.S. concerns over human rights and lack of democratic institutions in those countries, the officials said. The regional summit, scheduled for June 6-10 in Los Angeles, is expected to focus on migration and economic issues.

“I’m not going because not all the countries of America are invited,” said Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador Monday at his daily press conference. The Mexican leader said he had a good relationship with Mr. Biden and that he planned to visit the White House in July.

[…] The political rift between the U.S. and some Latin American leaders may hurt U.S. efforts to agree on a regional plan to fight irregular immigration toward the U.S., which is at record levels. In March, U.S. border authorities apprehended nearly 210,000 migrants attempting to cross the U.S.-Mexico border illegally, the highest monthly tally since 2000.

The rift could also benefit China, which has significantly increased its trade and diplomatic presence in the hemisphere in the last two decades, experts say. Beijing quickly supported Mr. López Obrador’s demand that all countries of the Americas be invited to the summit. (read more)

The Biden administration’s foreign policy is advanced under the predicate of threats and bullying.  Despite the media effort to gaslight the American audience, the foreign policy of Donald Trump, economic nationalism, was much more respected by leaders who appreciated negotiations on geopolitical dynamics where the interest of both nations was present at the table.  For the Biden administration, as generally and historically reflected in the foreign policy of all democrats, the preferred approach is brutal force.  A ‘do as we need – or you will pay a heavy price,’ diplomatic approach.

The irony of media narrative construction, reality -vs- media portrayal, is not lost on anyone who follows closely.

A sad, albeit perhaps intended outcome, will be for Latin-America countries being less willing to support any U.S. effort to stop the flow of illegal aliens from Central America through Mexico and into the U.S. via the southern border, already in crisis.

From the 30,000 ft perspective, this lack of Latin-America migration assistance would appear to be an intended feature, not a foreign policy flaw.

The Biden administration approach follows the familiar Alinsky pattern of planning and executing a purposeful crisis, then throwing up hands to say ‘we are trying, but there is no easy fix.’  Insert a similar reference toward U.S. energy costs, sound familiar?

As noted by the Wall Street Journal, “in recent years, democratic values have eroded across parts of the hemisphere.”   There is every reason to believe the people behind the Biden administration are creating the rise of Autocracy while simultaneously decrying the rise of Autocracy.  The unilateral fiats used by western leaders during their COVID-19 responses were completely autocratic, yet suddenly they clutch their pearls and decry autocracy.

Factually, the rise of autocratic or nationalistic perspectives helps to cement the global cleaving underway.   At the end of this continuum there will be a new geopolitical alignment, a heavily controlled and manipulated set of western societies where citizens are suddenly controlled by centralized government and bureaucracy.  This is what many refer to as “The Great Reset.”

In the United States all the interested parties, specifically including the media apparatus, remain committed to pretending the reset is not underway.  For those who watch events unfold with eyes-wide-open, the reality of the future is clear.
