Do you ever read an article by someone and think, “MAN I wish I had written that!”  That’s how I felt when I read Heather Mac Donald’s latest piece in the Weekly Standard, entitled “Neo-Victorianism on Campus.”  It’s absolutely positively excellent, and I can’t recommend it enough.

It’s about the “bizarre hybrid of liberationist and traditionalist values” that we are watching unfold at universities which are implementing highly legalistic, technical policies to define consent in the context of the college students’ sexual escapades.  In essence, liberal feminists who are in no small part responsible for creating the hook-up culture to begin with, are now hilariously demanding that they be protected by complicated sexual consent rules.

In other words, liberal feminists are once again victimizing themselves.  Surprise!

President Obama Authorizes National Guard Reserve Activation For West African Ebola Deployments… “Operation FUBAR” !


Now what I’m going to say is pure speculation but given what this administration has been doing —

The National Guard is nominally under the control of the state Governors and are citizens soldiers living at home unless activated.  That means they are close to the civilians where they live and also to their communities, which are mostly not in the big urban cities.

What if Obama doesn’t want elections in 2016 and plans on declaring martial law say a year from now when Ebola starts getting bad. If he has the most conservative Guard out of the country the Federal troops will have to be the ones and they will be more likely to put down resistance. One telling action, if this is in their mind is where the troops are taken from like say the states that are the reddest?

Keep in mind he has been purging the military of officers and NCOs that are loyal to the constitution — so just saying

… connect the dots!

A Dire “Warning” from a former Border Patrol Agent


A must watch U-Tube video from Zach Taylor a retired Border Patrol Agent. It’s about 15 minutes long and the worst part is at the end. He speaks about Asymmetrical Warfare and although that term was not used when I was trained in the US Army to conduct that form of warfare the principles are the same today as they were then. I am a former officer in Special Forces “Green Beret” from back in the days of Vietnam and I was trained to do what Zach Taylor talks about so I can tell you with absolute certainty that we are in a situation as described accurately by Zach Taylor.

Bowe Bergdahl Desertion Investigation Complete – But With Election Day Looming Report Will Not Be Released


As a former army officer with some knowledge of what actually happened in the Bergdahl desertion I can tell you the the situation is very clear and it was desertion. If appropriate measure are not taken it will have a very negative effect of the combat readiness of those that actually are the Boots on the Ground. My fear is that the present General and Flag Grade officers are compromised and are no longer capable of properly doing their jobs. Duty honor Country does not allow one to do what one knows to be wrong — just to save their job.
