Our Legal System is Pro-Tyranny

Armstrong Economics Blog/Regulation Re-Posted Feb 18, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

In the Netherlands, a court in The Hague has told the Dutch government that an overnight curfew to reduce the spread of coronavirus should be lifted, ruling that it breaches the right to free movement. There are other courts striking down what many governments have done to the people, society, and the economy. In the Netherlands, the government wants to appeal that decision and maintain the curfew. Nevertheless, Prime Minister Mark Rutte has already asked the people to stay indoors, court ruling or not.

One of the reasons why I DID NOT want to become a lawyer stems from an incident when I was in high school. There was a place called the Sub Shop where the students would go for lunch and after school. It was maybe 100 years from the school. The guy who owned the shop next door never liked the kids. He ran for mayor, won, and then had a policeman stand there and hand out parking tickets or whatever he could to harass us. I went to check the law using my father’s law books. Low and behold, it required the town to place parking signs so many feet apart and so many feet up from the crown of the road. They did not comply. So I told everyone to sit on the hoods of their cars, we would take the tickets, I had this.

When we all went to court, I asked the judge if I could speak for everyone since we all had the same parking ticket. I read the law and the judge was not happy, but he had to dismiss all the tickets. Next, they tried with a stop sign. The same problem it was at best 3 feet from the crown of the road instead of being up high that you could see it even if a car was parked there. Again we all took the tickets and again I asked to speak for everyone. Once more the Judge had to dismiss all the tickets, but he then admonished me and said he thought I was practicing law without a license. I responded I was not charging anyone. He came back and he was calling my father. The town of Maple Shade had to completely redo all the signs. When I got home, the judge had indeed called my father. He said to stop using his law books to defend my friends. From that moment on, my interest in being a lawyer was shattered.

There is no real RULE OF LAW. If there was ever a place for true Artificial Intelligence it is as a judge. The RULE OF LAW should be what it says – the law. But the other disastrous problem we have with the law is total political corruption. The Texas case against the state of Pennsylvania was dismissed by the Supreme Court claiming they lacked standing and there were two dissents. That was the Chief Justice refusing to hear the case claiming they had no “standing” and therein lies the crisis. Politicians can actually pass a law that says you MUST kill your firstborn sacrifice them on the first day of the New Year to reduce the population.

Nobody has the standing to go to court to argue this is unconstitutional. The ONLY time you will have any right to make that argument is when the government seeks to enforce that law. Since I do not have a firstborn because he already died, I could never go to court to challenge that law because I am NOT being harmed.

Therein lies our problem. We live under no Rule of Law for it promotes TYRANNY. Governments can do as they like but we have to be harmed FIRST. Then it will take often years to get to court and then the court can rule in our favor as The Hague just did. That means the government can be ruthless, draconian, and outright tyrannical as they have been with this COVID. Now merge this with the problem we live in a Republic – not a Democracy. People can vote for Trudeau in Canada or Johnson in the UK only in the local community and then the party elects them to be the head of state. They then strip us of all rights, destroy the economy, and impose this Great Reset which was never presented to the people for a vote. Worse still, they keep extending their measures because they know if they told the people the truth that COVID was usurped to further climate change and the Great Reset, the people would never have voted for it once they realized how many will lose their jobs.

They get to do whatever they want. (1) there is no standing unless were are one of the ones injured, (2) it can take years to get to court to ever apply the law that is the foundation of a free society.

CONCLUSION

We live under the yoke of tyranny. There is no hope for the future until we completely overturn the system. There should be a Constitutional Court where whatever law these politicians pass must be ruled on by the court BEFORE creating any harm.

People have often asked me why I have studied law and the various legal system globally such a Britain emerged from Common Law whereas France emerged from Canon Law. In having to not only being an international hedge fund manager but also having to advise international corporations and governments, one of the most critical inputs is country risk. We must first come to grips with the politics for there everything is set in motion. You obviously would not want to have investments in a country that is left for they will be prone to simply NATIONALIZE all your investments and you lose 100% which has taken place countless times during Communist Revolutions to religious revolutions as in Iran. The politics and the Rule of Law are absolutely critical for that is the FIRST step in the decision process as to where to invest. This is why China has been moving diligently in this direction of stability for unless they do so, China would never rise from the ashes of Communism.

Facebook Blocks News From Australia – Yes, The Entire Country

Australian officials are pushing back against the totalitarian grip of Big Tech. {Go Deep} As a result of investigations into Google and Facebook the Australian government is set to establish fines against tech companies for anti-trust violations.  However, some officials are now discussing taking actions that are beyond civil lawsuits, and are now advocating for arrest of company officers for unlawful conduct. {Go Deep}

The battle lines are being drawn, and in response to the Australian government position on anti-trust Facebook (feeling they are elite and above the law) has now decided to block all news articles from the entire country from their social media platform.

FACEBOOK ANNOUNCEMENT – […] this means people and news organisations in Australia are now restricted from posting news links and sharing or viewing Australian and international news content on Facebook. Globally, posting and sharing news links from Australian publishers is also restricted. To do this, we are using a combination of technologies to restrict news content and we will have processes to review any content that was inadvertently removed.  (read more)

The Trump in the Hat

Re-posted from GrrrGraphics.com FEB 15, 2021 AT 2:45 PM

Two scoops, Two Impeachments, Two Acquittals!

The impeachment clown show has come to an end and once again Nancy Pelosi is 0-2.

Trump will go down in American history as the only President to be impeached and acquitted twice and he came out of it a living inspiration for the MAGA movement.

Apologies to Dr. Suess!

President Trump Releases Statement on Senator Mitch McConnell: “Mitch is a dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack”

Posted originally on the Conservative tree house on February 16, 2021 by Sundance

President Trump appears to have triggered the Big Ugly, the confrontation against the DeceptiCon wing of the Uniparty, with a full-throated rebuke of Senator Mitch McConnell.

This statement from President Donald Trump is a good indicator of what lies ahead:

.

War it is then!… Giddy up.

REMINDER – […] Several DeceptiCon senators have already announced they will not run for re-election in 2020 [Shelby, Toomey, Burr, Portman and Johnson].  In the 2022 Senate races there are 34 seats up for grabs.  14 are held by Democrats and 20 are held by tenuous Republicans.  [Breakdown Here] Due to vulnerability, their lack of support amid the republican base, and their insufferable 2020 behavior outing them as DeceptiCons it is almost guaranteed the GOP will lose seats in the 2022 mid-term election. Those exiting senators, among others, know what McConnell’s objective is.  They also know this time the damage is far greater than previous times McConnell set about to destroy the base of the party.

Most casual political observers have absolutely no idea how McConnell works.  However, for over a decade CTH has been trying –mostly failing– to awaken the base of common sense voters.  In 2010, 2011 and 2012 the #1 priority for McConnell was to destroy the threat represented by the Tea Party.  In 2022 we are seeing an exact replay of the same intents and purposes, only this time the target is President Trump’s MAGA movement.

It is a motive and agenda all wrapped up in the senate power structure.  McConnell does not fear being in the minority; the color of the flag atop the spire of the UniParty senate does not matter to those underneath it.  McConnell maneuvers with just as much power in the minority as he does in the majority; factually, he makes more money selling his DeceptiCon caucus votes to Chuck Schumer (on behalf of Wall Street) than he does in the majority where he is forced to purchase them.  The entire thing is a rigged-game. Is There a Reason U.S. Media Pushing Weird “Biden Plays Mario Kart” Story?

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 16, 2021 by Sundance

If you closely follow the way leftists engineer narratives, specifically when they choose to push a particularly innocuous aspect, you can usually spot an ulterior motive.

In this example several media outlets are really pushing a story about Joe Biden playing the Mario Kart video game with his granddaughter.

It’s just weird…

NEWSWEEK – How did Joe Biden relax during his first Presidents Day weekend as president? By playing MarioKart with his family.

During his weekend retreat at Camp David, Biden and his granddaughter Naomi played the racing video game, and he won. Naomi shared a video to Instagram that showed Biden competing against her on the Arcade GP DX machines, complete with chairs and steering wheels.

Biden sat on the right as Luigi, and Naomi is Princess Peach on the left, GameRant noted. Despite not being at the same gaming level as his granddaughter, the commander-in-chief came out victorious.(READ MORE)

However, if one accepts there’s always a reason for this kind of stuff deep in the details, you might wonder if this isn’t part of an *anti-dementia* effort of narrative building from the WH press office.  Sound crazy?  Actually there’s a reason for that question…

According to scientists the specific Super Mario game could help prevent dementia in patients with symptoms.  Specifically playing Super Mario video games for two months “can improve brain function and help forestall dementia symptoms.” (LINK)

Given that everything around Joe Biden is a Potemkin village, it would not be surprising for the White House to attempt to cover Biden’s cognitive declines and ask the friendly media to report on the video-game issue in a friendly manner…. as a way to water-down the troublesome part of a President losing his marbles.

Biden may not have lost all his marbles, but there’s definitely a hole in the bag.

Support For Third U.S. Political Party Reaches Highest Point in Twenty Years, 63 Percent of Republicans and 70 Percent of Independents Want Third Party Option

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 16, 2021 by Sundance

A hot-button topic now has some interesting polling data from Gallup [pdf result here]. The poll shows that more Americans want a third party option than ever before in the two-decades of polling. Given the very visible exposure of the UniParty, two wings of the same vulture club in Washington DC, this does not come as a surprise.

Gallup – […] Independents are usually much more likely than Republicans or Democrats to favor a third political party, but in the current poll, Republicans are nearly as likely as independents to hold this view, 63% to 70%. That represents a dramatic shift for Republicans since last September when 40% favored a third party.

Republicans’ current level of support for a third party is also the highest Gallup has measured for Republicans or Democrats in Gallup’s trend. The previous high was 54% for Democrats in 2018. Currently, 46% of Democrats endorse a third party, down from 52% in September. (read more)

Obviously there is a lot to contemplate on this issue.  However, one of the key points to the formation of a third party is a cleansing of the state-by-state political apparatus.

As previously mentioned – If President Trump takes that army into a new political party of his choosing, that new party is structurally set to lay waste to any candidate within both wings of the Democrat and Republican assembly. A Trump inspired new political party can wipe out the illusion of the Democrat/Republican two-party system; specifically because much of the Trump movement consists of former democrats and brand new voters.

The MAGA coalition is the most diverse, widest and deepest part of the entire American electorate. President Trump’s army consists of every creed, color, race, gender, ethnicity and orientation. It is a truly color-blind coalition of middle America patriots and middle-class voters that cuts through the political special interest groups. (more)

Federal Reserve & Fake Conspiracies

Armstrong Economics Blog/Banking Crisis Re-Posted Feb 16, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: I found your history of the Federal Reserve very insightful which nobody else has put together. Can you explain your comment that the ECB could go bankrupt but not the Fed?

Thank you very much.

HB

ANSWER: Here is a full set of $1 bills with each issued by its respective branch. I would like to t5han Kohn C for having this framed and sent to me as a gift. The Federal Reserve is independent whereas it has its own authority to increase or decrease its power to create elastic money. I understand that many see this as evil, but it was absolutely essential. During an economic crash, people hoard their cash and do not spend it. Consequently, banks start to fail because they lent money out long-term as in mortgages but the demands by depositors are immediate. That is why a bank would fail in the midst of a run. Its assets are tied up in loans which they then recall and cannot sell the real estate to get liquid.

Right now we have had that problem where the velocity of money has been declining from 2007 until Trump was elected, but then it took a nose-dive in a waterfall event thanks to COVID lockdowns and rising unemployment. The Fed’s “elastic” money means they can create money in electronic form purchasing in debt which in theory injects cash into the system. However, because Congress has been so corrupt, the requirement to buy government debt has not directly helped the economy as it was originally intended to do in 1913 when it would only by corporate debt. That prevented companies from going bust and laying off people because they did not have the immediate cash.

The ECB requires the approval of all member states whereas the Federal Reserve does not need to go back to Congress to beg for money. Not all central banks are created equal. Yes, the banks were the shareholders because the Fed was supposed to be a bailout for the banks and that was not to involve taxpayer’s money.  However, the politicians could not keep their fingers out of the cookie jar. The government began to take over the Fed and the chairman was then appointed politically and the control of private banks has been reduced. The fake quote that people use that Rothschild said “Give me control of a nation’s money and I care not who makes the laws.” The problem with this quote is a simple fact it was made up in 1913.

I am unaware of any banknote issued by Rothschilds in the United States or Britain. This quote, which is widely used, appears in a letter of  T.C. Daniel (1857 – 1923) to President W. Wilson dated May 8, 1913. I cannot find any source where Mayer Rothschild ever said such a thing nor can I find any paper money issued by the Rothschild Bank. I would love to buy one if anyone ever discovers it.

Nonetheless, the Bank of England issued banknotes beginning in 1694. In 1921, the Bank of England gained a legal monopoly on the issue of banknotes in England and Wales, a process that started with the Bank Charter Act of 1844 when the ability of other banks to issue notes was restricted. I have an extensive collection of monetary instruments that are historically important. There are no Rothschild notes that I am aware of during this period. Consequently, I cannot find the source of this Rothschild quote, nor can I even find an example of a Rothschild banknote from the period in question. So I fail to see where Rothschild would have made such a boost when he did not have control of any nation’s money supply.

This is the problem. People simply hate bankers, as I have fought against, but at the same time, they are making up things that are not true and I have to wonder if this is deliberately done to create misinformation.

60% of Americans Now Want a 3rd Party – Good Bye Republicans & Democrats

Armstrong Economics Blog/Basic Concepts Re-Posted Feb 16, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

Right on time, Our computer has been forecasting the political trends amazingly. I have warned that Socrates targeted 2022 as a Panic Cycle in Politics. The Biden Administration is turning the country upside down claiming climate change must be stopped instantly. Yet the severe cold this winter is also right on time as our models have also called for the high in the global warming trend and a turn back down with colder weather as we saw the peak in the energy output of the sun. This winter, it was so cold in Germany, the electric busses stopped working and the lack of wind combined with snow that has buried solar panels has left people freezing.

Here again, is yet another forecast unfolding that we would see a split in both the Democrats and the Republicans where we may see a merger form into a third party. The latest polls now show that 60% of Americans are fed up with politics and want a third party to stand against both the Republicans and Democrats. Never since the Great Depression has our model projected Panic Cycles in politics for 2022 and 2024.

Socrates has outperformed everyone. Besides forecasting this election was razor-thin, Trump would win in 2016 as well as BREXIT right down to the shift in real estate that prices would decline in urban centers and shift to suburban, it has projected the major trends beyond what any human person could possibly ever do.

Even back in 2010 when we warned we were entering a bull market in equities, Barron’s laughed. They never called for a follow-up because they never believed we would be correct back then. Why? Those in mainstream media do not want to hear how a computer can write reports or forecast things humans cannot. They would not know how they explain every move the market makes with the same old nonsense. So much for advancing technology.

Socrates even picked-up on GameStop.

There is something about just allowing the data to speak for itself. We are headed into political chaos into 2032. The fiscal mismanagement of government is off the charts and now we have this unholy Triumvirate that has screwed up the entire world because they fear climate change and never bothered to really do the research beyond 1850. They have convinced governments to back their Great Reset and now even Dr. Fauci appears in Schwab’s videos talking about inequality as the real crisis. Where is his expertise or the fact that had Greta Thunberg even appearing on panels for Coronavirus?

So while mainstream media is desperate not to let people even know that a computer can forecast anything, the trend is the trend regardless of whatever I post.

Was Trump Just Naive?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Opinion Re-Posted Feb 16, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: Dear Martin,
After following the Trump drama since launching his presidential campaign, we have read how he has been angry at his staff, fired one after another of his top men and women, added crazy people like Bolton and Pompeo and others, and is now mad at his defense team in Senate, only one big question remains: As an experienced business leader for a billion-dollar business, how is it possible to fail so miserably with all these appointments? Is he an amateur, a useful idiot for the deep state or is he totally incompetent as a leader? What is your opinion based on all your contacts with people around him?
BN Sweden

ANSWER: From the very beginning, they set out to control Trump. They surrounded him with swamp creatures. I was very disappointed when I saw he even brought in Goldman Sachs. I have said before that I believe Trump was very naive. The loyalties in private business are totally different in Washington. They are never loyal to an individual, it is the swamp that must be sustained. As I have also said before, there used to be a vetting process and I was asked to fly around and meet with people who wanted to run for president. Then I was asked to fly to Texas to meet with Bush Jr, but I was told “this is different,” and they said he was stupid. I was shocked. When I asked why they would make someone stupid president, they responded he had the “name” to win.

I have also stated it was at that time I was asked if I would take the position as the chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers. I declined, for I would have to give up my business. But they were doing the hand-picking of everyone to surround Bush and that included Dick Cheney who was really the de facto president.

Trump is not stupid. He has had too much of an ego in some areas. I believe he was trying to show he did something that did not come from his father. Yet, there is a difference in dealing in the real world and that is the Washington bubble. Trump was naive, as is most of America, in thinking that being president is the same as being the president of a company. It is not. The countless layers of bureaucrats have zero loyalty to you. Just like those who think the head of the CIA suddenly knows all the secrets right down to Area 51. All among the ranks, they know these are political appointments that come and go. They NEVER let the secrets rise to the top, for they are NEVER one of them.

I believe that Trump was naive. When he began to see that people like Bolton were warmongers, he fired them. That was him starting to realize he was surrounded. He then turned to his family. But even Sidney Powell said Trump was surrounded and she could not get in.

This is not unique to Trump. The swamp is there to protect itself. That is why they do not want any outsiders. People have asked me many times if I would ever consider running for president. I laugh because the question in and of itself is naive. It assumes that I could become president and change everything. It just does not work that way. Trump thought he could drain the swamp. But the swamp was working very hard to drown him and it’s not over yet. They are trying to make an example out of Trump to serve as a warning to any non-swamp creatures–think twice before you try to run for office in this town.

I personally do not think it is remotely possible to elect someone to clean-up Washington. When it becomes this bad, history warns there is no solution other than revolution.
