The Coyote Principle


 My American Legion Post Adjutant and, like me, a Vietnam vet sent me this this afternoon, so I thought I would pass it on.
The Coyote Principle

CALIFORNIA
  • The Governor of California is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks the Governor’s dog, then bites the Governor.
  • The Governor starts to intervene, but reflects upon the movie “Bambi” and then realizes he should stop because the coyote is only doing what is natural.
  • He calls animal control. Animal Control captures the coyote and bills the state $200 testing it for diseases and $500 for relocating it.
  • He calls a veterinarian. The vet collects the dead dog and bills the State $200 testing it for diseases.
  • The Governor goes to hospital and spends $3,500 getting checked for diseases from the coyote and on getting his bite wound bandaged.
  • The running trail gets shut down for 6 months while Fish & Game conducts a $100,000 survey to make sure the area is now free of dangerous animals.
  • The Governor spends $50,000 in state funds implementing a “coyote awareness program” for residents of the area.
  • The State Legislature spends $2 million to study how to better treat rabies and how to permanently eradicate the disease throughout the world.
  • The Governor’s security agent is fired for not stopping the attack. The state spends $150,000 to hire and train a new agent with additional special training for the nature of coyotes.
  • PETA protests the coyote’s relocation and files a $5 million suit against the state.
TEXAS
  • The Governor of Texas is jogging with his dog along a nature trail. A coyote jumps out and attacks his dog.
  • The Governor shoots the coyote with his state-issued pistol and keeps jogging. The Governor has spent $.50 on a .45 ACP hollow point cartridge.
  • The buzzards eat the dead coyote.
And that, my friends,
is why California is broke and Texas is not.

The Republicans and Democrats conspired to guaranteed that Iran got everything that they wanted


Congress passed H.R.1191 – Iran Nuclear Agreement Review Act of 2015 on 5/22/2015 and Obama signed it making this public law 114-17 PDF

This bill requires Congress to pass a resolution of disapproval to reject the deal, which would almost certainly be vetoed by Obama. Then, Congress would be required to muster votes from two-thirds of each chamber to override the veto. All the president has to do to force a bad Iran deal on America is keep 34 senators of the Democratic Party or 145 members of Congress on his side which is can do with little effort.

What this legislation did was turn a 67 vote to pass into a 67 vote to stop.

There was no reason to pass this bill so one can only assume the Republicans wanted the deal just as badly as Obama did.

The top five reasons, in no particular order, the beltway political establishment, on both sides of the aisle, is terrified of Donald Trump

1. Trump is an outsider. He is not a part of the establishment political machine. Those in the political establishment are not his friends. In fact, he considers the establishment political machine his enemy, because it is! It is the enemy of anyone who is self-employed, from Joe the Plumber to The Donald. It is also the enemy of every American who is not a part of the establishment political machine, which is 99.9999999% of us.

2. Donald Trump is a patriot! He is as real as real gets. No phony baloney, no hedging. Just a genuine love for his country, which is clear in all that he says. There is no stammering when he is answering a question. He answers directly and honestly, and if you don’t like the answer, that is your problem. The problem for the political elite is that the American people do like his answers. In fact, they overwhelmingly love his answers, to which his skyrocketing poll popularity attests.

3. The Donald is beholden to no one! While the establishment politicians court K Street lobbyists for a little ass-kissing campaign coin, to be repaid with special interest favors, Trump does not play that game. He does not need their money. He does not want their money. They make him sick, just as they make all red-blooded American patriots sick. He can easily fund a presidential campaign that no other politician can compete with, and have billions left over.

4. Trump despises political correctness. He doesn’t have a politically correct bone in his body. Well, maybe one. Like all conservatives who are not in the empty suit career parasite class, The Donald finds the sickening beltway preoccupation and convention of political correctness repulsive. And it’s another game he refuses to play. He doesn’t care if you are black, white, Chinese, Mexican, gay, or disabled, you diss him and you are fair game. Charles Krauthammer recently remarked that Trump is “a rodeo clown,” to which The Donald replied, I am being called names “by a guy that can’t buy a pair of pants? Give me a break!”

5. Many of the current political players in DC could find themselves in hot water, maybe prison. The shameless corruption that has become standard business practice in Washington is obvious. Well-hidden, but obvious. Why else would faux conservatives like McConnell and Boner escort every Obama initiative through Congress, leaving the American people stunned and helpless to defend our once great nation against these venal scumbags? I imagine Donald Trump’s choice for Attorney General being Trey Gowdy, or a pit bull patriot like Gowdy. Oh, there would be hell to pay amongst the treasonous louts who have been leading America…. right over a cliff!

American Christians by and large apparently cannot read the signs of the times.  Tribulation is at our door and a lukewarm church is blind and infected with a fatal case of Normalcy Bias.

The following essay is from a sermon I had given on the July 4th weekend.  It is a very long read, as it was a 90 minute sermon but it is what the lukewarm church in America needs to hear at such a time as this.

VA says it may shut down hospitals to close $2.5B budget gap


They spend the money they get on themselves with good salaries and bonuses for doing a good job (on taking care of themselves) and a few pennies here and there on the vets. Remember agent orange and the burn pits how many died before they would admit there was a problem.

The Department of Veterans Affairs may have to shut down some hospitals next month if Congress does not address a $2.5 billion shortfall for the current budget year, VA officials warned Monday.

VA says it may shut down hospitals to close $2.5B budget gap | WATE 6 On Your SideThe VA told Congress that it needs to cover shortfalls caused by an increased demand by veterans for health care, including costly treatments for hepatitis C. The agency also is considering furloughs, hiring freezes and other steps to close a funding gap for the budget year that ends Sept. 30.

The VA said it wants authority to use up to $3 billion from the new Veterans Choice program to close the budget gap, with as much as $500 million going to treat hepatitis C. A single pill for the liver-wasting viral infection can cost up to $1,000.

Love, Dogs and Same Sex Marriage

Same sex marriage is not simply a perversion, one that can be traced back to the Paganism of ancient times, of the Canaanites.

Same sex marriage is symptomatic of the decline of love in modern times, especially in democracies where love has been reduced to a biological urge or desire.

Democracy, whose paramount principle is equality, levels all desires, be it of a man, of a dog, or of a philosopher’s desire of wisdom. In other words, democracy levels distinctions between what is high and low, noble and base, between common or vulgar aspirations behavior and refined behavior or aspirations.  This is democratic nihilism.

Same sex marriage is the end result of nihilism.  It is symptomatic of a dearth of love, and never has love been so lacking as in democratic times.  But this eclipse of love in our times was precipitated by the eclipse of God.

Once man loses sight of the highest, he inevitably succumbs to the lowest, and what is low and lowest characterizes the indiscriminate egalitarianism of democracy.

This egalitarianism makes democracy especially susceptible to the debased or horizontal love of same sex marriage.

There is no political or judicial solution to this nihilism. Democracy is not simply a form of Government; it is a state of mind, which obliterates moral and intellectual distinctions.

Democracy therefore violates the essence of man, whom Nietzsche defined as the “esteeming animal.”  Ours is an era that esteems nothing. It is the era of Nietzsche’s “Last Man,” an era  of Ortega’s “Mass Man” whose highest concern is “security.” Ours is the era of Cocker Spaniels.

Cocker Spaniels do not envy Great Danes. Among canines there are no distinctions of rank.  Love makes distinctions. Same sex marriage eliminates distinctions. It defines an era that has gone to the dogs.

Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule Passes


Once this start to be implemented it is the END of America we will be just one more 3rd world country.

Today, HUD Secretary Julian Castro announced the finalization of the Obama administration’s Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Rule. A front-page article preemptively defending the move appears in today’s Washington Post. The final rule is 377 pages, vastly longer than the preliminary version of the rule promulgated in 2013.
