Lee Smith Nails It, The Elites “Want Us To Know” They Hold all Power and Control

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 15, 2021 by Sundance

Adam Townsend had a great podcast interview with journalist Lee Smith last week, and for the first time Smith eloquently hit on something CTH has discussed for several years.

The “elites” writ large are so open in their current proclamations of being beyond reach, because they want us to know their power removes them from any accountability.

Often we see people ask ‘why are they so openly admitting to their wrongdoing’?  Within the answer I have written frequently ‘they simply do not care’…

It is not a sense of boundless hypocrisy that drives them to showcase their disconnect, the disconnect is purposefully part of the ideological advancement of their goal.  FIRST, the segment, WATCH:

.

The question “do the elites care if we know” is accurately answered by “they want people to know.”  The outlook that elites are hypocritical is the wrong nuance to what is visible. Their openness about their untouchable constructs is part of their purpose.

“Elitism” in its most raw and brutal display is a system of people who are beyond reproach according to their own outlook.  They must not be questioned; they are in ultimate control of society, outcomes or (fill_in_the_blank) as an extension of their self-proclaimed magnanimity.  Essentially they are projecting their position inside a club and all those not in the club are outsiders who do not get to provide input or judgement on the club rules.

This might sound like a DUH statement from the literal definition of “elitism”; however, it must be accepted this outlook is one of consumption, not determination.  They believe they represent the ‘greater good’ and by extension control moral authority.  Thus, within their mind, they are above reproach.  The visible outcome is they operate outside the systems they push upon others who are not in the club.

Elites do not have to wear masks (Pelosi hair salon); or elites do not have to abide by group and social distance rules (Newsom at restaurant party); or elites do not have to concern themselves for carbon emissions (Kerry private airline travel); or elites do not have to worry about the justice system (Clinton emails, Comey FBI lies), etc.

This is NOT hypocrisy, this is a fundamental part of creating a classist society.

Those within the club, in this example the DC club, want those outside the club to accept there are two systems of rights and responsibilities.   The club members have all powerful rights and no responsibilities for consequences; the non club members have lesser rights and full responsibility for consequences.  This is the cornerstone of a tiered or classist society outlook.

“Rules for thee and not for me” is more than a catch phrase; it is an actual worldview with a history in political control.  They are not hypocrites, they are living out their creed.

The outlook gained popularity going all the way back to the formation of the Fabian Socialist society.  You might remember George Bernard Shaw saying “at a certain point those [outside the club] will have to justify their existence.”  Shaw was advocating for a genetic cleansing of those undeserving people who take more from society more than they provide in value.

This Fabian Socialist outlook is the most extreme form of “elitism”, the actual extermination of undesirables, but it is essentially along the same continuum as believing their are two sets of rules depending on your place in the hierarchy of society.

This outlook has been modernized to include the latest industry of Big Tech.  Those who control technocracy have merged with those who control the politics of society.  The outcome is elites deciding which voices are allowed to participate in the national conversation, and which voices must be ostracized because they are not compliant to the elitist worldview.

It is critical, actually beyond critical, that people start to accept what they are witnessing is not some misplaced system created by bad actors.  Those bad actors are actually elites who benefit from numbing society to the sheer audacity of their ideology.

Again, we return to this image….

…. And I pray that people will pause, stand back and contemplate just what follows the natural conclusion of events if these ideological “elites” are not confronted.  That image is not far away from where we are today.

Those who understand big picture dynamics are still comfortable sticking their heads in the sand about “motive”. Most people are still clinging to actual beliefs around a principle of ‘rule of law’ that applies to National Leadership.

You’d better change that thinking quickly – or you’ll be asking ‘what happened’ far too late.

There seems to be a willful blindness on the part of the American people, a chosen refusal to acknowledge the implications of the unAmerican and unConstititional behaviors, actions and outcomes we are being served on a daily basis.

It can no longer be presumed to be a matter of “I can’t see what’s happening” because a whole lot of normal Americans really are clean and articulate.

I can’t see it” just doesn’t cut it.

Bullsh!t! You can see it, you are just choosing to reconcile the irreconcilable because it is more comforting to ignore the truth of it. You are scared:

    • You are scared of being labeled
    • You are scared of being belittled
    • You are scared of being Alinsky’d.
    • You are scared of being targeted.
    • You are scared because you have never been here before.
    • You are scared of being right.

Just be honest. Avoidance has become your survival mechanism.

It’s more along the lines of “I see what’s happening, but it’s scary and complicated and confusing, and if I admit that I see it, I will become responsible in a way that I am not if I keep pretending I can’t see it or hear it or maybe I don’t understand it.”

Our Republic has become Kitty Genovese screaming in the darkness, being assaulted repeatedly and viciously, while onlookers sitting in the darkness startle onto their feet–some trying to reach for phones or light switches while others try to hush them, accusing them of exaggerated reactions.

The screams reach some homes where the residents look nervously and silently at one another, really hoping that someone else will call the cops, because obviously something really bad is happening out there.

Now, like then, you, like those people in New York, look around and say well someone is going to do something about this usurpation of power and unconstitutional action. So you pull the comfy blankies of historical public leadership reference over your head, cover your ears, block out the sights and the sounds, and do nothing.

You don’t even accept the fact a woman, Lady Liberty, our republic, is being repeatedly stabbed, carved up and her flesh torn from her body. She is bleeding on your grass and her bloody hand prints are on your trees and sidewalks. You know it, yet you lie there.

Doing what? Really? If not you,….. WHO? Who is “them”?

Remember the visual illusions on big cards, (Rorschach tests) just black and white splotches that required you to “stare just right”– and when you did, you could see the ink-drawn cow in a snow drift? That’s the one we grew up with–yours might have had palm trees in it or something else. But you stared hard, knowing that eventually you would see a clear picture —ah! There it is! For just a minute, but you saw it there–for just a minute.

How many are sitting in the midst of this implosion still believing that if they stare hard enough at the national mess they will still see a Constitutional government and a Representative Republic?

Well, stare as long as you want. The details of a Constitutional Representative Republic will no longer come into focus because it turns out that the Republic was apparently stitched together with dissolvable thread like the surgeons use.

Why don’t we dare say what is so? Are we a bit afraid that if we give up the willful blindness we will perhaps start screaming and not be able to stop? Do we think we have so little courage? Do we really believe that we have no resources to bring to the battle? Or nothing more to contribute to the turning of the battle?

There are patriots who some might say resemble one of those slightly mad orchestra conductors who keep yelling, “More trumpet! More TRUMPET!” Many of you are such slightly mad orchestra leaders. Don’t be alarmed by some of the strange looks you are getting these days.

We Need More Trumpets !”

California, Recall Governor Gavin Newsom Petition Hits 1.5 Million Signature Milestone

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 15, 2021 by Sundance

The effort to recall California Governor Gavin Newsom announced a major milestone accomplishment today as they have gathered over 1.5 million signatures to initiate the recall effort.    However, the patriots who are organizing the recall effort still want to gather an additional 300 to 500 thousand extra signatures to avoid any challenges.

After reaching the milestone, the California GOP announced they would provide the volunteer group with $125,000 in funding to help pay for the remaining campaign effort. This is in addition to the RNC recently providing 250,000 to help better organize the next steps in the recall.

CALIFORNIA – […] Organizers say they have collected over 1.5 million signatures so far, although it’s not clear how many of them will be disqualified because of technical or other errors. Committees behind the recall hope to gather well beyond the required 1.5 million, to ensure it qualifies.

“We expect to collect another 400,000 signatures,” Rescue California campaign manager Anne Dunsmore said in a statement. With the six-figure donation, “we added a substantial line item to our budget.”

The contribution “will guarantee that we bring in enough additional signatures to hold Gavin Newsom accountable,” she added. (read more)

Mitch McConnell Deployed His Anti-Trump Ploy in The Exact Same Manner He Deployed Against The Tea Party…

Posted originally on the Conservative tree house on February 15, 2021 by Sundance

An interesting, insightful and accurate article from Christopher Bedford in The Federalist [SEE HERE] outlines how Mitch McConnell delivered his impeachment floor speech as a ploy to destroy the MAGA movement.  Bedford notes how Senator Lindsey Graham even outlined how McConnell’s attack was purposefully written and delivered to give any Democrat opponent in 2022 ammunition against Republican senators up for re-election.

However, what Bedford and Graham did not directly speak about is: (a) the historic pattern within exactly what Mitch McConnell did; and (b) the motive for him doing so.

Several DeceptiCon senators have already announced they will not run for re-election in 2020 [Shelby, Toomey, Burr, Portman and Johnson].  In the 2022 Senate races there are 34 seats up for grabs.  14 are held by Democrats and 20 are held by tenuous Republicans.  [Breakdown Here] Due to vulnerability, their lack of support amid the republican base, and their insufferable 2020 behavior outing them as DeceptiCons it is almost guaranteed the GOP will lose seats in the 2022 mid-term election. Those exiting senators, among others, know what McConnell’s objective is.  They also know this time the damage is far greater than previous times McConnell set about to destroy the base of the party.

Most casual political observers have absolutely no idea how McConnell works.  However, for over a decade CTH has been trying –mostly failing– to awaken the base of common sense voters.  In 2010, 2011 and 2012 the #1 priority for McConnell was to destroy the threat represented by the Tea Party.  In 2022 we are seeing an exact replay of the same intents and purposes, only this time the target is President Trump’s MAGA movement.

It is a motive and agenda all wrapped up in the senate power structure.  McConnell does not fear being in the minority; the color of the flag atop the spire of the UniParty senate does not matter to those underneath it.  McConnell maneuvers with just as much power in the minority as he does in the majority; factually, he makes more money selling his DeceptiCon caucus votes to Chuck Schumer (on behalf of Wall Street) than he does in the majority where he is forced to purchase them.  The entire thing is a rigged-game.

THE FEDERALIST – […] “So what’s all behind this? After four years of yelling “MAGA!” while pushing his own classic, corporate Republican policies, McConnell had hoped to rid himself and his conference of the conservative populist nationalism the former president had championed and go back to the way things were.

He wants a return to promising to tackle illegal immigration before winking at corporate America that nothing will change. He wants to raise money on fighting the abortion of our infants while comfortably lifting nary a finger. He wants to shrug and change the subject when asked about men dominating women’s sports and using women’s bathrooms. He wants fewer taxes and more wars. Hell, he wants someone to blame for the Republican losses in the Georgia special election, and with them the loss of his seat at the head of the Senate.

Instead, his push to impeach ended with rebuke from his own conference. Angry and embarrassed, he blamed his own colleagues as well as the former president, performing a 20-minute attack ad for the left to use on Republicans for the next election cycle and beyond.” (read more)

Through his power structure, McConnell directly controls about 8 to 15 republican senators; we have called them “The Decepticons” for years. [Cornyn, Thune, Porter, Blunt, Portman, Burr, Barasso, Crapo, Murkowski, Gardner, Roberts, Sasse, Tillis, Rubio, Graham and Romney]

McConnell has a well-used playbook he deploys to retain power at all costs and select candidates that will be indebted to his Senate schemes. Senate candidate Doug Collins was up against the same Mitch McConnell machine readers here are very familiar with.

To remind ourselves how Minority and Majority Senator McConnell took down the threat of the Tea Party revisit these old articles CNN Part I and CNN Part II  both showcase how McConnell works.   Then do some research on how McConnell worked with Haley Barbour in Mississippi [SEE HERE].

For those who follow the deep weeds of politics, McConnnell’s schemes are brutally transparent. For the remaining 97% of the voting electorate, they still don’t understand how the UniParty works. Decepticon leader McConnell doesn’t want the American electorate to see purchased senate republicans voting NO on border security.

Consider Senator Mitch McConnell telling the President of the United States that he had “excessive expectations” because President Trump doesn’t understand how things are done around here:

“A Congress goes on for two years. Part of the reason I think that the storyline is that we haven’t done much is because, in part, the president and others have set these early timelines about things need to be done by a certain point.”

“Our new president, of course, has not been in this line of work before, and I think had excessive expectations about how quickly things happen in the Democratic process.”

Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell

That rebuke irked President Trump, as it should.  President Trump responded via twitter: “I don’t think so”…

McConnell must preserve the trough – Corporations (special interest group) write the legislation. Lobbyists take the law and go find politician(s) to support it. Politicians get support from their peers using tenure and status etc. Eventually, if things go according to norm, the legislation gets a vote.

Within every step of the process there are expense account lunches, dinners, trips, venue tickets and a host of other customary financial way-points to generate/leverage a successful outcome. The amount of money spent is proportional to the benefit derived from the outcome.

When a House or Senate member becomes educated on the intent of the legislation, they have attended the sales pitch; and when they find out the likelihood of support for that legislation; they can then position their own (or their families) financial interests to benefit from the consequence of passage. It is a process similar to insider trading on Wall Street, except the trading is based on knowing who will benefit from a legislative passage.

Yes, Democrats are the opponents; they are ideological enemies to freedom. However, the far more urgent MAGA enemy is Mitch McConnell; the man who built the Trojan Horse.

Senator Mitch McConnell (The turtle) shows his true Colors!

Re-Posted from Def-Con News February 14, 2021

How do you say: “Two bit media whore,” and make it sound respectable? It’s not likely you can. But of course calling a spade a spade is the only appropriate thing to do, particularly in this situation.

The attached short media clip is one for the ages!

President Trump’s attorney, Michael van der Veen, comes to the defense of all Americans. Not just the President, not just Patriot Deplorables, but all Americans.

As reported on Red State, Saturday night van der Veen appeared on CBS News and was asked about Sen. Mitch McConnell’s comments after Trump’s acquittal.

McConnell had said that “President Trump is practically and morally responsible for provoking the events of the day,” and that President Trump is “still liable for everything he did during his period in office.”

When van der Veen was specifically asked whether he was surprised to hear such a serious rebuke from the leader of the Republican party in the Senate, his expression, tone, and words said it all.

The media clip is a Must Watch! But, in a nut shell, the attorney’s response: “I’m not surprised to hear a politician say anything at all. No.”

Blank stare. The CBS News anchor, Lana Zak, wasn’t quite sure how to continue after the reply. She decided to move forward and attempt to “gotcha” van der Veen, and it doesn’t go well for her after that.

Again, the above media clip is a Must Watch!

What say you Def-Con News readers? Attorney Michael van der Veen represents the vast majority of Americans who just want the pompous, self-important pundits, journos, “experts” and politicians to begin acting ethically responsible and do their jobs for a change.

NY State Detention Camps for Anything the Governor Declares is a Threat?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Rule of Law Re-Posted Feb 15, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: Marty,

Please would you provide clarity on this Bill.

Is this a legitimate Bill passed in NY, are we looking at FEMA camps being used for New York Americans who refuse vaccines or is it going to be worse…it’s all American’s or green card holders?

https://www.nysenate.gov/legislation/bills/2021/a416

This is moving very fast the masses who don’t pay attention and those who are clueless won’t know what hit them.

Thank you,
RH

ANSWER: New York State Assembly Bill A416 empowers the governor, apparently in his sole discretion, to establish detention camps should the governor declare a public health emergency. This bill does allow for the detaining of anyone who “pose[s] an imminent and significant threat to the public health” until he or she is no longer contagious. It is far worse than some have reported for it is any disease, not just COVID.Assemblyperson N. Nick Perry (AD-58), recently proposed bill A416, currently in committee for presubmission to the Assembly for the 2021 session, which relates to the “removal of cases, contacts and carriers of communicable diseases who are potentially dangerous to the public health.”This bill, as written, states, “(u)pon determining by clear and convincing evidence that the health of others is or may be endangered by a case, contact or carrier, or suspected case, contact or carrier of a contagious disease that, in the opinion of the governor… may pose an imminent and significant threat to the public health resulting in severe morbidity or high mortality, the governor or his or her delegee…may order the removal and/or detention of such a person or of a group of such persons by issuing a single order, identifying such persons either by name or by a reasonably specific description of the individuals or group being detained.”This bill is so unconstitutional it is stunning. The Bill fails to specify any timeframe, location, or criteria for the termination of this detention. It simply delegates full discretion to the governor and given Cuomo’s handling of nursing homes, this is just not acceptable. This is the most outrageous privacy violation and it reflects the dangerous disconnection these career politicians have with the people or the restraints upon government imposed by the Constitution. This bill allows the governor to create detention camps like the Nazis or what the Americans did to the Japanese. It provides authority to create a clear and direct path to unconstitutional and indefinite detainment which could last for life entirely at the governor’s sole discretion. Due Process of Law is torn to shreds because everything rests in the hands of the governor. That is plain and simply tyranny. To the best of my knowledge, this bill has NOT passed, and after what Cuomo has done, I seriously doubt it will become law at this time. However, this is the third time this has been attempted. This simply shows the mentality of politicians in New York toward the people.

No Scientific Evidence that Masks do Anything! Sweden Banning Masks

Armstrong Economics Blog/Disease Re-Posted Feb 15, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

What is really amazing is how far we as societies are allowing politicians who have no qualifications in medicine to roll out draconian decrees. These measures are really intent on dividing the people to prevent civil unrest because the socialistic system is collapsing and they needed an excuse to throw all the economic restraints out the window.

This image has an empty alt attribute; its file name is Mask-Box.jpg

I have shown before that I purchased a box of masks from Amazon, and on them, it clearly states it will not prevent any disease. So obviously, if you get corona and wore even two masks to bed at night, and a condom just in case you might get aids while sleeping alone, you have no legal case to sue the mask manufacturer for a faulty product.

Even the chronic liar Dr. Anthony Fauci stated at the beginning that masks will not do anything.Video Player

Here we have Fauci selling “inequality” and the Great Reset for the World Economic Forum. Where does he now have expertise in economics as well?

Officials in Halmstad municipality, Sweden, recently forced a teacher to remove their mask and prohibited the use of masks and all forms of PPE in schools. The municipality said there was no scientific evidence for wearing masks, citing the Swedish public health agency.

When will the people wake up and realize that this entire set of regulations from masks to lockdowns is really about suppressing freedoms to further the climate change agenda? It is not about health. Even the leftist Washington Post, which hates capitalism, had to admit that masks did not work during the 1918 Spanish Flu epidemic where nearly 3% of the population died.

Was the Entire Capitol Seige a Deliberate False Flag?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Feb 15, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

AOC has deliberately lied saying she thought her life was in danger when the building she was in was never under siege. The offices of senators and members of Congress are is separate buildings. Pelosi had an office in the Capitol Building because she is the Speaker of the House. Yet her main office is still in a separate building. Clearly, AOC has been caught in an outright lie to dramatize the entire event and make it appear like a siege even telling Senator Cruz he wanted her dead. In the four weeks since the riot, AOC has said repeatedly that she feared for her life as a result of a “very close encounter” which never happened. She has now claimed: “The enemy is within the House of Representatives,” Pelosi said in an extraordinary declaration referring to Republican Congressmen. She has said: “Legitimate White Supremacists’ at the ‘Core of the Republican Caucus.”

While Donald Trump wanted a wall to keep the drug dealers, criminals, and illegal aliens out of the United States, Nancy Pelosi has built a wall to keep Americans out of the entire Capitol Hill Complex. This wall is NOT coming down. She has pretended it was necessary because of the impeachment trial. The concern is that it is actually permanent and intended also for the 2022 elections.  It may be there until the Biden Administration ends – if ever. Proposals have already been floating around to make it permanent. The Capitol Police are calling for a permanent fence and Pelosi has called Republicans the “enemy within” saying members of Congress have threatened Democrats. Forty-two Republican House members have sent a letter to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) asking the speaker to remove the fence surrounding the Capitol. The letter was spearheaded by Rep. Ted Budd of North Carolina.

Peloso’s Wall is massive. Suddenly walls now work and they are no longer racist – just keeper of the peace. How much it cost to erect virtually overnight maybe would have funded lunch for the entire national schools has then been in session and not shut down for more than a month or more. Remember the 9/11 attack on the Pentagon back in 2001. We still do not know the full cost but to repair that office cost somewhere between $500 million to $1 billion to fix the building, according to estimates. When it comes to government waste, it is never addressed. In Philadelphia, the Lincoln Financial Field, the home to the Philadelphia Eagles since 2003, cost $512 million dollars to construct with a capacity of 68,532 people. Back in 2004, the Capitol Police estimated a fence would cost up to $50 million, The numbers this time have exceeded $250 million in estimates because of the urgency. Then there is the cost of all the military.

With evidence surfacing that the siege was planned weeks in advance and people in hoodies place pipe-bombs the night before that did not go off, were strategically necessary to create this wall which is perhaps to protect the Capitol when people start losing jobs from Biden’s climate change agenda. Remember the Bonus Army protests? They turned the tide for the election of FDR when Americans saw protesters killed and tanks on the streets in Washington.

That was the #1 leading event that resulted in Hoover losing the election. When federal troops killed vets. That was it! To get people in WWII, Congress had to then pass the GI Bill. Because they refused to pay the vets from World War I.

The Night of Terror: When Suffragists Were Imprisoned and Tortured in 1917

In 1917, 32 other women had been arrested for picketing outside the White House. Members of the National Woman’s Party had been peacefully demonstrating in the nation’s capital for months, holding banners and placards calling on President Woodrow Wilson to back a federal amendment that would give all U.S. women the right to vote. These women were arrested and the treatment they endured was a harrowing night on November 14th, 1917. They were deliberately treated brutally by guards who beat them and forced them to stand all night. They began to demand that they should be treated as political prisoners. They went on a hunger strike, and instead, they were repeatedly force-fed, and then some were even transferred in early November to the District Jail’s psychiatric ward.

The prison superintendent, William H. Whittaker, instructed his guards to teach the women a lesson. They had their hands shackled to the top of a cell, forcing them to stand all night. The guards seemed to enjoy the torture slamming women’s arms on an iron bench to the point some even lost consciousness after her head was smashed into an iron bed. One protester suffered a heart attack and was not even taken for medical attention until the following day. The Night of Terror was later published by Doris Stevens in Jailed for Freedom was published in 1920.

Louisiana Republican Senator Bill Cassidy Believes Trump’s MAGA Movement is Over – Boy Are They In For A Surprise

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 14, 2021 by Sundance

After republican Senator Bill Cassidy voted to impeach President Trump the Louisiana leadership voted to censure the self-serving DeceptiCon.  Today Bill Cassidy appears on This Week to explain his vote.  In essence Cassidy voted to support the UniParty agenda because he feels the era of Trump is over…. the cocktail class republicans are looking forward to getting back to the corrupt system of Wall Street financed graft.

“I think [Trump’s] force wanes. The Republican Party is more than just one person.”

The GOPe fails miserably not only because they are just one wing of a UniParty bird, but also because at their core they operate in an isolated elitist echo-chamber.  The Democrats play lip-service to their base; however, the Republicans have never attempted to hide their disdain for middle America values and the working class conservatives.

Whether they are pundits or politicians claiming to hold values on the conservative side of the ideological spectrum, the reality is – to them the business, and financial value, of DC is their primary interest.  They really do not care about working class people…. this is the reality of the UniParty system.  Democrats lie about it, Republicans openly mock it… and the result is that no-one represents the middle-class or working-class patriot.

The largest voting bloc in the United States is an assembly of people, actual taxpayers, without any representation in government.  Thus the rise of the MAGA movement and Donald Trump to the presidency.  The overwhelming majority of Democrats and Republicans just don’t understand that dynamic; President Trump did.

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis appears with Maria Bartiromo to discuss how the state is able to balance COVID mitigation and still keep the economy open for people to work and make a living.  DeSantis notes the threats from the Biden administration to institute a travel ban on Florida are unconstitutional.

As Governor DeSantis notes schools have been open for in-person tuition all year and almost all businesses are operating without issue.  Millions of people are flowing into the Sunshine state as they flee the totalitarian dictates from Democrat governors.

Additionally DeSantis outlines the issues with Big Tech capturing confidential information from Floridan’s cell phones.  The privacy issues are being addressed by the FL legislature.

Governor Ron DeSantis is the leading candidate to carry the mantle of the MAGA community.  A commonsense outlook and a pragmatic approach toward retaining all inherent freedoms and liberties are the smart cornerstone of DeSantis policy.

Sunday Talks, Richard Grenell Discusses the New Police State in Washington DC

Richard “Ric” Grenell appears on Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo to discuss the new police state constructed around our nation’s capitol in Washington DC.

Bartiromo outlines the newly fortified security perimeter and the thousands of military troops that will be guarding Capitol Hill for an unknown amount of time.  Questions are being asked about why DC needs to assemble a police state encampment. Who and what are they protecting themselves from?
