Tucker Carlson Announces Venture with Elon Musk’s Twitter Broadcasting

Only if you really understand the background of Jack’s Magic Coffee Shop, an argument can be made that the deal between Elon Musk and Tucker Carlson is trying to get the unsubsidized financial viability of Twitter under the control of an independent platform.  At least, that’s my slant on the positive perspective here.

As a free communication platform, Twitter has never been, and is not now, financially viable.  However, if Musk can continue finding ways to monetize the platform, subscriptions, exclusive content, advertising, and now broadcasting etc., he might finally be able to break free from the data processing subsidy running behind it.  We should be cautiously optimistic, yet pragmatic to the reality of the challenge.

Toward that end, Tucker Carlson announced today an intent to use the social media platform as a free speech and journalistic broadcasting system.  If Elon Musk chooses to make Carlson the anchor of this ¹Twitter enterprise it would be akin to ²Fox streaming services making Carlson the anchor of Fox News digital, via Fox Nation.  {Direct Rumble LinkWATCH:

¹On an investment/return approach, it would make a lot of sense for Elon Musk to give Tucker Carlson a percentage stake in the enterprise (25% backend wealth) in combination with a front-end lump sum and generous expense deferred contract [all write-offs for Musk].  Carlson retains full proprietary control of his created content; Musk gets platform profitable; a genuine win-win.

Murdoch shot themselves in the streaming foot when they fired him.  However, you will notice Murdoch waited until Carlson had produced a year’s worth of yet to be broadcast long-format programming which Fox Nation still owns.

(Via Axios) Tucker Carlson, two weeks after being ousted by Fox News, accused the network Tuesday of fraud and breach of contract — and made a host of document demands that could precede legal action.

Why it matters: The aggressive letter from his lawyers to Fox positions Carlson to argue that the noncompete provision in his contract is no longer valid — freeing him to launch his own competing show or media enterprise.

On Tuesday, Carlson announced he would be bringing his show to Twitter.

“Starting soon we’ll be bringing a new version of the show we’ve been doing for the last six and a half years to Twitter,” he said in the video. “We bring some other things too, which we’ll tell you about. But for now we’re just grateful to be here. Free speech is the main right that you have. Without it, you have no others.”

The intrigue: The Twitter move would seem to technically violate Carlson’s contract with Fox, but his lawyers’ letter effectively holds that Fox breached the contract first.

Sources told Axios that Carlson’s lawyers sent their letter before he took to Twitter to announce his new show.

Catch up quick: Axios reported Sunday that Carlson, frustrated by being held to his contract, is preparing to unleash allies to pressure the network into letting him work for — or start — a right-wing rival.

Carlson’s contract runs until January 2025 and Fox wants to keep paying him, which would prevent him from starting a competing show.

Carlson already has gotten eye-popping offers from several right-wing outlets, and has talked to Elon Musk about working together.

The details: The letter — from Carlson lawyer Bryan Freedman to Fox officials Viet Dinh and Irena Briganti — said Fox employees, including “Rupert Murdoch himself,” broke promises to Carlson “intentionally and with reckless disregard for the truth.”

The lawyers accuse Fox executives — which two sources say are Dinh and Murdoch — of making “material representations,” or promises, to Carlson that were intentionally broken, constituting fraud.

Notably, the letter alleges Fox broke an agreement with Carlson not to leak his private communications to the media and not to use Carlson’s private messages “to take any adverse employment action against him.”

Multiple outlets have reported on Carlson’s redacted communications from pre-trial discovery documents and have suggested that they led to his ousting.

The letter also alleges Fox broke promises not to settle with Dominion Voting Systems “in a way which would indicate wrongdoing” on the part of Carlson and not to take any actions in a settlement that would harm Carlson’s reputation.

Carlson was told by a member of the Fox board that he was taken off the air as part of the Dominion settlement, two sources briefed on a conversation told Axios. (read more)

With Georgia on their mind for 2024, Governor Brian Kemp hosts a stop Trump confab at their infamous and preferred Sea Island retreat.  Meanwhile, thanks to the intrepid boots-on-ground reporting of Laura Loomer, we discover that Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is meeting with Zuckerberg’s far-left Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR), in Washington DC.

Why would state election officials be meeting with far-left election manipulation groups.  Well, put those two datapoints together, and once again the strings on the election official marionettes start glowing.  As we have said from the outset of the DeSantis construct in early 2022, watch the Republican Governor’s Association (RGA) closely.

GEORGIA – […] Kemp gathered donors this week for a three-day retreat on Sea Island, Georgia, to plan for the 2024 campaign with a focus on the specific role of Georgia, a vital state for Republicans if they have any hope of winning the White House. According to a source familiar with the retreat, the event raised $1.2 million for Kemp’s committees. 

The retreat comes as former President Donald Trump leads in the polls among 2024 GOP presidential candidates, with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in second — but trailing — as he prepares to announce his campaign.

Kemp’s activities around 2024 raise his national profile and position him to be part of the mix for a gubernatorial alternative for president should DeSantis stumble. At the least, it positions him for a possible Senate run in 2026, since he will be barred from running for governor again because of state term limits. 

Kemp’s private retreat featured a long list of Republican operatives and leaders who gave presentations on a wide range of topics connected to the next election. Speakers included former House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio; Karl Rove, former senior adviser to President George W. Bush; and former Sen. Kelly Loeffler of Georgia.

During his remarks to the group, Kemp outlined what he believes the eventual GOP nominee must focus on for the party to be successful in 2024. 

“First, we have to tell voters what we’re for. Second, focus on the future. And third, we have to be able to win a general election. Because we can’t score points if we don’t have the ball,” Kemp said, according to the source familiar with the retreat. 

Kemp never mentioned Trump by name, but he warned Republicans that it will be difficult to win back the White House if the party continues to relitigate the 2020 election. He also has repeatedly said that electability should be a priority for GOP primary voters. 

After the 2020 election, Trump was angry that Kemp did not do more to challenge the presidential results in Georgia, so much so that he recruited former Sen. David Perdue to challenge Kemp in the Republican primary for governor in 2022. Kemp soundly defeated Perdue, and then Stacey Abrams, to win re-election. 

The retreat was put on by Kemp’s Hardworking Americans Inc., a federal super PAC he launched shortly after winning re-election last fall, and Georgia First Leadership Committee, his state leadership PAC.  (read more)

Steve Cortes Announces He Took “National Spokesman” Job (Money) From DeSantis PAC, Now Supports Ron DeSantis

Do not let these transparently corrupt political grifters like Republican strategist Steve Cortes raise your blood pressure; instead, mock them mercilessly wherever and whenever you see them.

Former Trump ally Steve Cortes announced today he has taken a job with the Never Back Down PAC that supports Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. As a result, he is reversing all his prior points of advocacy to endorse Ron DeSantis for 2024.

The shallow character of these income chasers is pathetic. However, the Sea Island billionaires are pouring money into the DeSantis camp for exactly this purpose.

The goal of the stop Trump corporate donors is to retain their own financial status; Cortes is simply accepting their money and displaying his own character, nothing more.  We said last year, 2024 would be the opportunity to see what prices people put on their allegiances.  Today, is just another reveal.

There’s no merit or value in looking at Cortes, other than just to accept his objective – to enrich himself.

Meanwhile back in Florida, Ron DeSantis has separated himself legally from his state political action committee (PAC) Friends of Ron DeSantis, which now creates the mechanism for his remaining $85 million to transfer into the Super PAC ‘Never Back Down’, the same organization that just hired Cortes.

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. — Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis severed his connection to his long-standing state political committee and the tens of millions of dollars that it now controls, a step he needs to take ahead of a presidential campaign.

The Republican governor is expected to jump into the race for president soon and the move to rebrand his Florida political committee — called Friends of Ron DeSantis — is the most concrete sign so far that his candidacy is imminent.

The website for the committee was changed on Tuesday morning to say that its mission is “committed to advancing the Freedom Agenda and keeping Florida free.” But more importantly, the website says that the committee is associated with state Sen. Blaise Ingoglia and not DeSantis. The committee on Tuesday also filed paperwork that says Ingoglia is replacing a Tampa accountant as the official chair of the organization.

Ingoglia is a Republican ally of DeSantis who sponsored several of the governor’s key legislative priorities during the recently concluded legislative session, including a crackdown on illegal immigration that includes $12 million for the governor’s controversial migrant relocation program.

A spokesperson with DeSantis’ political operation did not comment on the shift and Ingoglia did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

DeSantis first set up his committee back in 2018 and he used it to raise a record amount of money for his re-election campaign last year as he pulled in donations from many major Republican donors. Current campaign finance records show that the committee has nearly $86 million in the bank.

But DeSantis cannot use money raised for Friends of Ron DeSantis in a federal race because state law does not limit how much someone can give to the political committee or the source of the donations. But that money could be shifted to a super PAC that backs DeSantis if the governor is no longer connected to the political committee. While some have questioned the legality of such a move, the Federal Elections Commission deadlocked over a similar strategy that was used by Rep. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.). (read more)

There is still no indication how the DeSantis handlers are going to navigate the reality that once they make their official campaign announcement, it will be transparent to everyone that Ron DeSantis was lying about his intentions during his reelection pretense.   In my opinion, recognizing that everything DeSantis is built upon fraud and lies, will likely make even people stop supporting him.

The insufferable pretending of the “Book Tour” and national branding effort to avoid the Florida “resign to run” law, shows just how corrupt and conniving the network is. Nothing they do now will erase that fundamental problem.

Ron DeSantis has been planning this 2024 effort for several years, and yet people who supported him denied it.  Now that admissions will come, and the character of the governor will take center stage, it is very likely that fewer voters will accept his candidacy regardless of how many hundreds of billions are handed out to illicit endorsements, influence and support.

Cortes just becomes the latest in a long line of masks to drop as we see the financial corruption that exists within our national political constructs.  There will be more, because there is so much money on the table.   For the Sea Island billionaires that are buying the pundits, there are Trillions At Stake.

Lara Logan, Texas Republican Politicians Working Against Border Security

Resident of Texas, Lara Logan, appears on Steve Bannon’s War Room podcast to discuss the illegal alien invasion that is happening right now in the lone star state.  {Direct Rumble Link}  Logan notes that Texas republican politicians are actively working to keep the border open with migration flows controlled but not stopped.  As CTH has long documented, illegal mass immigration is a policy that both wings of the UniParty support.

If you look at the lawlessness that is happening right now which includes extreme Latin American gang violence, what you discover is that major metropolitan areas in the United States are beginning to show the first signs of organized, gang-affiliated cartel activity. Essentially, the cartel gangs are assembling in major cities and the violence that happens in Mexico is being replicated on the Streets of U.S. urban areas.

There is every reason to believe this criminal activity will continue to worsen as millions of illegal aliens continue to pour through the U.S. southern border. DeSantis Owners Not Happy, Wall Street Worried That Too Much Woke Stuff Lessens the Value of Their Candidate to Defeat Trump and Retain Affluence

The reality was/is that both political corporations do the bidding of their financiers, Wall Street.  The battle against the UniParty is always a battle of Main Street -vs- Wall Street.

Wall St funds the acceptable candidates from either wing of the UniParty; the candidates best suited to maintain the status quo and keep the elite class in control of the economy and finance.  Donald J Trump is the only threat to their interests, so the Wall Street control group fund anyone who can remove the threat.

Against this backdrop the Wall Street billionaires and multinational corporations selected Ron DeSantis as their best hope, and they poured tens of millions into his various accounts to help construct the campaign against Trump.

However, the campaign strategy, the actual blueprint to defeat President Trump, isn’t working.

First, the astroturf and games of the pretending not to run has just worn people out.  The fakery that is the Ron DeSantis campaign is leading to people looking at the candidate in a new light.  Why the fraud, fakery, manufactured branding and so much emphasis on denying the obvious.  These are the tell-tale signs of a heavily controlled GOPe operation.  People now see through the smokescreen the DeSantis handlers created.

Second, the campaign is constructed around getting the base to love their candidate’s position on social issues.  The fight against Wokeism is a tool and technique to lift the candidate.  However, too much emphasis on the social stuff leaves the candidate narrowing their base of support.  Put the two issues together and the viability of DeSantis starts dropping.  The cherry on the fail-cake is the weak character of the wind-testing principal.  It’s all an illusion.

The donors from Wall Street now see the program isn’t working.

WASHINGTON –  Wall Street is firmly in the Never Trump camp. Finding a Republican who can make “never” happen is another question.  Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis had been seen as the top pick to lock down the support of financial titans who have already pumped millions into his state campaigns.

But as he stumbles through gaffes over everything from his personal demeanor and stance on Ukraine to his snacking habits, Wall Street donors are keeping the door open to his competitors, according to more than a dozen bankers, attorneys and political consultants interviewed for this story.

Where Wall Street puts its money matters because financial industry executives are among the biggest donors in presidential elections. And while bankers and asset managers generally favor lower taxes and lighter-touch regulation, they also value stability and experience — and they spread their money around to candidates of both parties, meaning they’re very much in play in each cycle.

On paper, that should give DeSantis an advantage. People close to Wall Street donors said his national profile and powerhouse fundraising operation that has included support from hedge fund titans like Ken Griffin and Jeff Yass had positioned him as most able to survive a primary with former President Donald Trump.

DeSantis’ gubernatorial reelection campaign is still loaded with cash, giving him big advantages over possible competitors. But many now say he no longer seems so formidable — at least on Wall Street. (read more)

In the bigger picture, the issue for Wall Street is that people are starting to see the DC political construct is really just a Potemkin Village created to obscure the real nature of who is in power over government.  As more people awaken to the financial and economics of the issue, the multinational corporation, billionaire donors and agents they conscript as influencers no longer have the ability to sway voters.

Social issues are a tool to keep people focused on the puppet show.  However, once you see the strings on the marionettes, you can never go back to that moment in the performance when you did not see them.  Ultimately, this is the DeSantis problem, and it extends well beyond the Florida governor.

Fox News Shapes Allied Media Narrative that Tucker Carlson Is Going to Hurt Their Brand Image

Foxweiser’d” – it’s a verb to describe taking a majority approved brand and aligning yourself with minority interests to destroy it. Also called stepping on a rake.

With Fox News reported to have lost half their audience, the trio of MSNBC, CNN and Fox Corp are now neck, neck and neck, in a three-way race to the bottom. Into this financial spiral, which doesn’t seem the least bit worrisome to the board and owners who are more concerned with their multinational financial interests, comes Fox News prepositioning to avoid further downgrading via a Tucker counter offensive.

Axios is reporting that Tucker Carlson is going to launch nuclear tipped verbal SCUDS at Fox News as soon as his tongue is unleashed.  However, a note of caution is warranted. Which is more likely: (a) that Carlson is going to expend the energy on an irrelevant media network committed to destroying itself; or (b) that Fox News is leaking information to Axios in a proactive measure to mitigate their fall into irrelevance.

Stop Pretending – Anyone who is still appearing on Fox News to support the network, specifically including anyone who would appear on Sean Hannity show – a man entirely compromised by his zipper problems and therefore useful to the interests of the opposition, is at this point aligning themselves against ‘We The People’.  [Insert upcoming tour de’ force of Fox News on behalf of Ron DeSantis here]

AXIOS – Tucker Carlson is preparing to unleash allies to attack Fox News in an effort to bully the network into letting him work for — or start — a right-wing rival, sources close to him tell Axios.

Bryan Freedman, the high-powered Hollywood lawyer Carlson retained for the contract dispute, told Axios: “The idea that anyone is going to silence Tucker and prevent him from speaking to his audience is beyond preposterous.”

Why it matters: Tucker vs. Fox could reshape the conservative news world. Fox, which has seen its ratings plunge in Carlson’s slot since he was let go 13 days ago, wants to sideline him by paying him $20 million a year not to work.

The intrigue: Axios has learned Carlson is busy plotting a media empire of his own. But he needs Fox to let him out of his contract, which expires in January 2025 — after the presidential election.

We’re told Carlson has been contacted by outlets — including the right-wing Rumble and Newsmax — that offered to pay him more than his Fox contract.
Behind the scenes: Axios has learned that Carlson and Elon Musk had a conversation about working together, but didn’t discuss specifics.

Carlson confidants say he also is contemplating building a direct-to-consumer media outlet where his millions of fans could pay to watch him. Carlson’s predecessor in his Fox slot, Bill O’Reilly, created a blueprint for this.

Two days after being booted, Carlson teased in a Twitter video posted at 8 p.m. ET, counter-programming his former show: “See you soon.” The two-minute video has racked up 24 million views.

State of play: The ousted host “knows where a lot of bodies are buried, and is ready to start drawing a map,” said a Carlson source who wasn’t authorized to speak publicly.

One thing that should be noted – all of Roger Ailes’ former team would be willing to work free of charge to assist Tucker in breaking billionaire Rupert Murdoch if that was the intent.  It’s not, because there’s no need to destroy an enemy that is destroying itself.

If James Comer had a U.S. Marshals badge and a set of handcuffs I would be impressed.  Alas, unfortunately Comer is the Chairman of what… Yep, the House Oversight Committee, otherwise known as the “Chaff and Countermeasures Committee” famous for Fast n Furious investigations, IRS investigations, Benghazi investigations, and now Hunter Biden investigations.

For the non-pretending among us, an unfortunately very small – albeit intellectually superior rebel alliance, we can overlay the timing of James Comer’s “explosive” and scheduled Wednesday press conference with the DC motive to distract away from the U.S. southern border as Title 42 expires and a million illegal aliens invade. Perhaps the most obvious ‘chaff and countermeasures’ deployment this year.

If the material to present is as explosive and damning as a very excited James Comer proclaims, why wait?  Notice the emphasis on Wednesday, Wednesday, Wednesday:  WATCH:

All of what James Comer outlines is likely accurate and true, but keep in mind the DC UniParty has an alliance of interest.  (1) The Uniparty supports open borders (timing of this press conference); and (2) the UniParty supports the removal of Joe Biden (content of press conference).

Occam’s Razor – Fed Entrapment

Occam’s Razor: When faced with competing explanations for the same phenomenon, the simplest is likely the correct one.

(1) An investigative silo within the federal apparatus falsely identified me as “1% Watchdog.”  (2) When confronted with the truth of the matter, and after their own independent investigation, federal investigators acknowledged that some other entity fabricated their bona fides using my identity.  (3) Admitted (by them) the most likely motive was to influence trust amid the communication group of “1% Watchdog.”

In my humble opinion, and applying Occam’s Razor, “1% Watchdog” was/is a federal agent.

What other motive would a person carry to fabricate their identity, create false bona fides, if not to influence a sense of trust in their target audience?

NOTICE the wording: […] “your administration of the “Stop the Steal J6” channel.”

This appears to outline “1% Watchdog” as the owner/administrator/controller of the communication platform.

These are not unfounded suppositions.  Simply reverse engineer the process, apply the scientific method to your review, then apply Occam’s razor.

Counselors – On behalf of your client(s) file a motion with the judge requesting a court order compelling Zello to give up the registration records of the ‘Stop the Steal J6’ channel.  This will identify the person behind “1% Watchdog”.  If federal prosecutors fight the request for the court order, well: (a) there’s your answer; and (b) take the next step of using the preexisting congressional subpoena as evidence to support your compulsion.

For MEDIA – In an effort to improve personal time management, and devote necessary time to advancing our goals, please consider this a standard form letter response to any further inquiry:

Dear Mr./Mrs. XXXXXXXX, prudence and necessarily instilled manners dictate that all correspondence deserves the full weight of a polite response.

Allow me to thank you, with the humblest and earnest of appreciation, for all you do on behalf of a simple citizenry of which I am a proud and insignificant member.

Indeed, if our paths were ever to cross in person, I hold no disposition that you, as a person of consequence, would ever afford these calloused and well-worn hands the time of day. I am, like many, comfortably invisible.

That said, and with the utmost respect for your professional endeavors, I hope you will consider this correspondence carefully.

It is not our “goal” to raise our profile through the injustice that corruption represents. It is our goal to shine light upon that corruption….

When you see that justice is measured, not by due process, but by compulsion – when you see that in order to invoke your sixth amendment right to due process, you need to obtain permission from men who rebuke the constitution – when you see that justice is determined by those who leverage, not in law, but in politics – when you see that men get power over individual liberty by graft and by scheme, and your representatives don’t protect you against them, but protect them against you – when you see corruption holding influence and individual liberty so easily dispatched and nullified – you may well know that your freedom too is soon to perish.

You present opportunity for interview as if it is reflective of some courageous or magnanimous endeavor on your behalf. Alas, the disconnect, and innocent naivete’ of those only partially immersed in the battle to save the republic, shines through.

I’m almost certain that you hold the best of all intentions. However, in viewing a goal to be getting this type of story advanced, you miss the entire point.

My honest and respectfully intended question to you would be: What is it that makes media folks always want to “get an interview” when the information is there for the taking?

Perhaps, by training, by habit, or by unintended consequence you have developed your business model, and as a consequence yourself, to live for the process itself as an end result. Is it logical to believe that journalism is the interview; the conversation is the point; the smoke is the fire?

Please forgive my uneducated and poorly worded suppositions, but apparently journalism has evolved into reveling in the process and, as a consequence, it completely ignores the end point, misses the bottom line, doesn’t actually SEE the subject matter and never actually applies what might be discovered.

In fact, I’m led to believe that sometimes those within the media avoid the subject matter deliberately, because if they get their heads around it and nail it home, they won’t have anything to talk about anymore – because they will have exhausted their stash.

Not attempting whatsoever to lump your intention into such a fray; however, many have gotten into the habit of milking each situation for “so many leads,” “so many interviews,” “so many column inches,” and “so many angles” that problem-solving does not appeal to them at all. They oddly appear to favor the endless process.

So, when there’s an approach like what you are encountering with our significant site research, and my reluctance for self-involvement, I don’t fit – because I don’t give a flip about “the process.” And therefore, I do not fit into the rationale of the box or the PERT chart.

If you want to make these truths known, they are free for the taking; and they are by no matter or consequence dependent on my advancement.

Borrowing from Mike Vanderboegh – This is no small thing, to restore a republic after it has fallen into corruption. I have studied history for years and I cannot recall it ever happening. It may be that our task is impossible. Yet, if we do not try then how will we know it can’t be done? And if we do not try, it most certainly won’t be done. The Founders’ Republic, and the larger war for western civilization, will be lost.

But I tell you this: We will not go gently into that bloody collectivist good night. Indeed, we will make with our defiance such a sound as ALL history from that day forward will be forced to note, even if they despise us in the writing of it.

And when we are gone, the scattered, free survivors hiding in the ruins of our once-great republic will sing of our deeds in forbidden songs, tending the flickering flame of individual liberty until it bursts forth again, as it must, generations later. We will live forever, like the Spartans at Thermopylae, in sacred memory.
