Sunday Talks – McCarthy Responds to Gaetz and Links U.S Border Security Bill to Ukraine Funding Bill

Posted originally on the CTH on October 1, 2023 | Sundance

House Speaker Kevin McCarthy appeared on Face the Nation and Fox News to respond and defend himself from the UniParty accusations of Matt Gaetz.  As McCarthy stated in both interviews, he believes his job is not to represent Republicans, but rather as House Speaker he is to represent the interests of all Americans, including communists.

McCarthy knows the Democrats will protect him, as long as he continues making secret deals with them.  This is his shield against the removal threats of Matt Gaetz and other MAGA republicans in Congress.  Speaker McCarthy knows how to fly the UniParty vulture with both wings flapping in unison.  However, the Democrats visibly supporting him may present a problem, thus the next element of his discussion.

To retain his America-First Bonafides, McCarthy now links any Ukraine funding to the border security position.  McCarthy’s connection of the two issues is not related to a strategic legislative effort to get the border secured, but rather as a mechanism to allow him to fund his Ukraine priority.  Attaching border security measures gives him the cover, to provide the Ukraine funding.  WATCH:

MARGARET BRENNAN: Good morning and welcome to Face The Nation. Congress has done it once again. They’ve kicked the proverbial can down the road passing a 45 day funding bill to keep the government running. Now the deadline for getting spending bills passed is November 17th. Joining us this morning, the Speaker of the House, Kevin McCarthy. Good morning, you’ve had a heck of a week.

HOUSE SPEAKER KEVIN MCCARTHY: Yeah.

MARGARET BRENNAN: There is a lot to get to with you. I want to start though, on the news this morning from Congressman Matt Gatez, who says he’s going to seek a motion to vacate. He’s going to try to oust you as Speaker of the House.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: That’s nothing new. He’s tried to do that. From the moment I ran for the office. Look–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –Well this time he says he’s going to keep going, may not get there before the 15th ballot but it took 15 for Kevin McCarthy. He says he’s coming for you, can you survive?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Yes, I’ll survive. You know this is personal with Matt. Matt voted against the most conservative ability to protect our border, secure our border. He’s more interested in securing TV interviews than doing something, he wanted to push us into a shutdown, even threatening his own district with all the military people there who would not be paid only because he wants to take this motion. So be it, bring it on. Let’s get over with it and let’s start governing. If he’s upset because he tried to push us in a shutdown and I made sure government didn’t shut down, then let’s have that fight.

MARGARET BRENNAN: You need 218 votes to vacate. Has Hakeem Jeffries, the Democratic leader said that he will–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –No, he hasn’t said–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –No what?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: He hasn’t said anything about what he’s going to do, look–

MARGARET BRENNAN: Will Democrats-Democrats could cross over and follow Gaetz’s lead on this–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –Yeah, he he–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –His–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –Look, Gaetz is trying to work with Democrats. He’s reached out to Swalwell, to AOC and others. But if that’s the way we’re going to govern, I don’t think America is going to be successful. Look, at the end of the day, think of everything we’ve been able to accomplish so far. Parents Bill of Rights, we passed the most conservative bill to protect our border, make America energy independent. We’ve been able to cut $2 trillion, and the debt ceiling, work requirements back in. The hard part we have right now–

MARGARET BRENNAN:–yeah–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –is the Senate has not passed one appropriation bill. Each body is supposed to pass 12. We’ve passed more than 70% of the discretionary spending already.

MARGARET BRENNAN: –But those–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –I thought it was appropriate–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –Surviving in the Senate and making it into law.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –Well, you said that–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –and we have 45 days to–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –you said that  same thing when we, when we stopped the DC from decriminalizing everything. You said the same thing when we said we’re going to

MARGARET BRENNAN:  –I don’t think I ever talked about those things–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –Well no–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –to be honest with you–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: you and, maybe the press would do think, why pass it because the Senate won’t take it up and won’t sign it. Most in the press probably thought we would have shut down yesterday too. But no, we did not.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Were you confident we wouldn’t shut down?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: I was confident I could get something on the floor to make sure the option that we would not–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –But you weren’t–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –but our military–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –sure it was going to pass.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Well, well I wasn’t sure it was gonna pass. You want to know why? Because the Democrats tried to do everything they can, not to let it pass.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Democrats were the ones who voted for the–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –Did you, did you watch–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –and a large number of Republicans to keep the continuing resolution alive

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –Did you watch the floor yesterday?

MARGARET BRENNAN: Oh. Yes–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Okay then–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –90 Republicans voted against it.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Okay, so let’s walk. Let’s walk through what actually happened. First of all, the Democrats stood up and did dilatory actions asked to adjourn. So it was that supporting to adjourn? Then they used the Magic Minute. They went as far as pulling the fire alarm not to try to get the bill to come up. Look Democrats stick together, but they did not want the bill. They did not, they were willing to let government shutdown for our military not to be paid. No, I wasn’t. We’re going to make sure we keep it open while we finish the job we’re supposed to do.

MARGARET BRENNAN: You got 45 days?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: That’s right.

MARGARET BRENNAN: So–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY:  –Well, technically 47. But–

MARGARET BRENNAN: Okay, Senator Cornyn said of you last night, you pulled a rabbit out of the hat a couple of times. I mean, he’s acknowledging this was tough. Are we going to be staring down another shutdown?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Well it all comes down to the Senate, the Senate hasn’t done one thing.

MARGARET BRENNAN: But in the House, are we going to be facing another shutdown November 17?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: No, because the House is doing their work. We’ve already done more than 70% of it. So compare this to the Senate. The Senate hasn’t passed one bill. The Senate didn’t pass anything about the shutdown. The Senate hasn’t passed anything about securing the border. The Senate hasn’t passed anything about $100 a barrel–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –The House hasn’t passed anything about the border that could actually could become law–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –Yes we have–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –not that could become law.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: That’s your opinion. The House is its own body. The Senate is his own body. We’re not going to surrender to the Senate. We passed what the American people want. I will tell you each and every day- and don’t take my word for it. You’re going to have the governor of New York on it, who told people to go somewhere else. The New York City Mayor literally says destroying the city–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –Will you have–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: No, let me answer your question since you said we wouldn’t do something. Do you know the governor of Massachusetts has declared a state of emergency? This is one of the number one crises

MARGARET BRENNAN: Absolutely.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY:–as far from the border as you can see. This is killing Americans every single day–

MARGARET BRENNAN: There was no border funding in the continuing resolution that passed last night, but let me ask you–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –No no no, But that’s not fair to just say that–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –Well there wasn’t.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Okay, well, let’s- let’s educate the viewers why there wasn’t because the day before there was, but Matt Gaetz and others

MARGARET BRENNAN: –yup–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –denied that and voted no. So we could have had border security.

MARGARET BRENNAN: –okay–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –I went all the way through everything we could to the last moment–

MARGARET BRENNAN:–yeah–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY:  And you know what? We’re going to be able to win that.

MARGARET BRENNAN: When will you be able to bring a vote on Ukraine aid? The White House says that you have-are going to do this quickly.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Look, the priority for me is America and our borders. Now, I support being able to make sure Ukraine has the weapons that they need. But I firmly support the border first. So we’ve got to find a way that we can do this together.

MARGARET BRENNAN: What do you mean the border first, because the White House briefed Congress that 45 days, they don’t have enough money–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: They have more–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –Allow them to get–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: They have more than three, they have more than three billion dollars right now, to be able to help them get through it. If they have some challenge, we can sit down, and we can talk about that. But the American border matters and more–

MARGARET BRENNAN: Of Course.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –more Americans are dying on our border than Americans are dying in Ukraine.

MARGARET BRENNAN: So you are explicitly right now linking any Ukraine aid vote to a border bill–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY:–I’m telling–

MARGARET BRENNAN:–it won’t be a stand alone Ukraine bill?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY:  I’m telling you that the American border matters. And that is our priority to make sure we secure that–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –So that has to move first?–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –I’m going to make sure that the weapons are provided for Ukraine, but they’re not going to get some big package if the border is not secure.

MARGARET BRENNAN: But you haven’t figured out yet the vehicle through which to move that Ukraine aid or a date by which to do it?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: We will work with people in need. But the one thing the White House has to understand, they better be prepared to secure American border.

MARGARET BRENNAN: What does that mean, specifically? What are you looking for there?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Well, the- the bill you think that won’t go anywhere could easily do it, H.R. 2. Remain in Mexico, finish the wall. You’ve got to change asylum to be able to secure this border.

MARGARET BRENNAN: That is the bill, the border bill, that you want passed–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –Yes–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –and you are now–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –not want

MARGARET BRENNAN: –it sounds like attaching it to Ukraine aid–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Not that I- Not that I want it passed. It is passed and the Senate has done nothing. So let’s see where the Senate–

MARGARET BRENNAN: –You just said you wanted border first. So you’re not talking about holding a new vote in the House on the border. I’m trying to clarify what you’re talking about here.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Okay, not to be- but how it works is the House passes a bill, the Senate passes a bill, and you go to conference. The House has already done their job

MARGARET BRENNAN: Yes

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: the Senate-and we’ve done this in Approps. The Senate has done nothing. So what I am saying is when you saw government funding, there is a need for Ukraine. I support being able to provide the weapons to Ukraine

MARGARET BRENNAN: Yup–

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: –but America comes first.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Okay, so you’re not sequencing the bills or was- weren’t meaning to suggest that in your comments earlier.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Yes.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Right. Okay. I want to make sure I understood that. How much harder did your job get when Donald Trump came out and said that Republicans should shut down if they don’t get everything they need? And are you going to endorse him explicitly?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: Look, I think- I think President Trump’s going to be our nominee and President Trump’s going to win because President Trump’s policies made America stronger. We didn’t have inflation. We had a secure border–

MARGARET BRENNAN: Are you endorsing him now?

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: We didn’t have $100 barrel oil. So what I totally find is the president is going to be our nominee, the president is going to win reelection, President Trump, for the basis that we want to make America stronger. And the other thing too is look what’s happening in foreign policy today. You’ve got five American embassies that had to be evacuated. You’ve got this new axis of power growing against- you’ve got a challenge when you- our own allies are now turning towards China. It’s a lack of leadership, not just in foreign policy within our border and everywhere else. This president has been in elected office for 50 years. Do you know he has spent more dinners with Hunter Biden’s business associates than he has visiting the border? Yeah, don’t you think that’s important though? One time in 50 years. Do you know how many people will die today from fentanyl coming across our border?

MARGARET BRENNAN: It’s a scourge.

SPEAKER MCCARTHY: It’s the equivalent of an airliner crashing every single day in America and they refuse to even visit it or do something about it so we are going to make sure this border becomes secure.

MARGARET BRENNAN: We will watch for what that means legislatively. Speaker, thank you very much for your time today.

Sunday Talks – Matt Gaetz is Throwing Atomic Truth Hammers at The UniParty

Posted originally on the CTH on October 1, 2023 | Sundance

This is good stuff. Brutally good stuff.  I’m going to begin by repeating what I said last week.

I do not know if Matt Gaetz is the worthy Ty Cobb of Republican politics or not, but I do know he is currently one of the only people that is not pretending.  That elevates him in my view.   Oh sure, he’ll probably acquiesce to the pressures and sell out just like the rest of them, but right now – in his best form – Matt Gaetz has dropped the pretense, and that has sent the machinery of the DC Republican system into fits of apoplexy.  Good.

I’m at the point of frustration with this nonsense where apoplexy, anger and visible ‘losing their sh*t’ makes me smile.

As CTH has outlined for well over a decade, the last federal budget that went through the appropriations process, passed both chambers and was signed by a president, was the fiscal year 2008 budget signed in September 2007 by George W Bush.  Every single budget from that moment to today has been a series of continuing resolutions, omnibus spending packages (mini and regular) and baseline budgeted CR extensions.  So, when Gaetz says it needs to stop, he’s holding the righteous high ground, and it doesn’t matter which congressional or media voice tries to say he’s wrong. He ain’t wrong.

Today, Gaetz said he’s willing to do whatever it takes, to see Kevin McCarthy taken down -OR- forcibly propped up by the Democrats in congress.  Which, I might add, will highlight the exact nature of the UniParty construct with a clarity not before understood by the majority of Americans.  Go for it, Matt… Make it happen. WATCH:

STAY STRONG MATT!

Gaetz was also on CNN giving Jake Tapper a case of the vapors.

Part II – Something Necessary to Understand About Washington DC

Posted originally on the CTH on October 1, 2023 | Sundance

The first element of the discussion was here {GO DEEP}.  A short follow up is prudent.

The word “normal” is no longer politically correct to say.  The cultural Marxists have manipulated language to fit their needs; however, there is a need to stop pretending, therefore it becomes necessary to stop playing by their stupid rules and talk to each other in ordinary terms.

You are likely a person of normal disposition.  You go about your affairs with an outlook of decency and general respect toward the goals and aspirations of others.  You have the ability to remain emotionally stable, ignore the swirling nonsense of idiots, boil down the issues to their most common attributes and go about finding the best optimal solution for the events in your life.

The people in Washington DC are not normal. Not like that. If they perceive an event to have negative impact upon them, they cannot independently remain stable and deal with the issue on a level of solution they can independently create.  When they encounter a negative situation, they need to pull other people into the quicksand of their gibberish and stupidity in order to avoid accepting that they are less capable.  At a cognitive or psychological level, this is a defense mechanism.

DC operates like a school of fish stupid fish, a tribe that swarms together looking for consensus which allows them to not hold responsibility for their own shortcomings.  They view systems as solutions in order to avoid responsibility.  They are not emotionally stable, cogent, capable or independent thinkers.  They require tribalism to avoid what they lack.  These are not stable people.

This is not a blanket statement that would be considered hyperbolic.  Every entity, every individual person within the bubble of DC, cannot fathom self-reliance.  It is a concept as foreign to them as the distinction between a ‘constitutional republic’ and a ‘democracy.’  This is not a mistake or flaw in their perception and mindset, this is the reality of how their brain synapses fire.  This is who they are.

Within this dependency, those who assemble the silos of information find great reception.  Each sheeple tribe paying attention only to their immediate surroundings without the capacity to stand back and see the entire world around them.  They do not have this skillset.  They do not possess this ability.  This applies to all of them; every single one.

Within this system of dependency, they are like the crowd in the story of the ‘Emperor’s New Clothes.’  The political representatives and the staff that support them, literally are manifestations of weird minds, brought together by a career that rewards and attracts esoteric thinking devoid of pragmatic common sense.  They care about the opinion of others. They only care about the opinion of others; however, the “others” only apply to their tribe.  Again, tribalism is how they define themselves.  These are not emotionally stable people.

The outcome of their decision-making only flows through the prism of self-interest, where the ‘interest’ is about the preservation of the bubble that provides them a walled-off life of affluence inside the petri dish of toxic identity.  In a general world, the population of advanced and diagnosed narcissists is around 10%.  Inside the DC bubble, far more than half of the residents carry this narcissistic trait.   This is the origin of the abusive relationship that exists between “them” and “us.”

This applies to all of them.

All of them.

If you say the emperor is naked, from their perspective you are the stupid one.  Worse still, if you keep saying it, they view you as dangerous.

They are assembling systems to keep track of the dangerous people.

This is the disconnect that must be understood.

These are not normal people.

Cue the visual aid:

Senate Passes Interim CR Extending Budget 45 Days – DC Going Bananas That Ukraine Funding Not Included

Posted originally on the CTH on September 30, 2023 | Sundance

The U.S. Senate passed the stop gap spending CR (Continuing Resolution) extending government funding for 45 days.  The Senate vote was 88-9.  Mike Lee, Bill Hagerty, Ted Cruz, JD Vance, Eric Schmitt, Rand Paul, Roger Marshall, Mike Braun, and Marcia Blackburn voted against the CR.  The CR ends November 17th.

There was no additional funding for Ukraine in the House or Senate bill.  DC is going bananas, claiming that everyone supports additional multi-billion expenditures for Ukraine, but during a Senate Republican meeting earlier today, even John Thune told Mitch McConnell the ask for more Ukraine funding was a bridge too far.

The bill will now go to Joe Biden for signature, and the temporary “govt shutdown” crisis is delayed.  There is a complete disconnect between the will of the American people, and the priorities of the DC Uniparty.

Joe Biden responded to the bill, noting the importance of an additional funding mechanism for Ukraine.

“While the Speaker and the overwhelming majority of Congress have been steadfast in their support for Ukraine, there is no new funding in this agreement to continue that support. We cannot under any circumstances allow American support for Ukraine to be interrupted. I fully expect the Speaker will keep his commitment to the people of Ukraine and secure passage of the support needed to help Ukraine at this critical moment.” (link)

Senate Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer, speaking on behalf of Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, echoed a similar statement:

[WASHINGTON DC] …”It’s been a day full of twists and turns, but the American people can breathe a sigh of relief. There will be no government shutdown,” Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said shortly after passage.

The package is a departure from Senate leaders’ original ambitions to include Ukraine aid in the short-term funding bill. The final version of the bill — which overwhelmingly passed the House with bipartisan support Saturday afternoon — only includes disaster relief alongside regular government funding. Senate Democrats now say they’ll be seeking a supplemental bill to continue assisting Ukraine in its war against Russia.

“Most Senate Republicans remain committed to helping our friends on the front lines,” said Minority Leader Mitch McConnell. (link)

The intensity of the DC system, both Republicans and Democrats alike, to pour money into Ukraine, despite the majority of the American people not in agreement with the priority, is unlike anything in modern times.

Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) Pulls Fire Alarm in House Attempting to Stall Vote on Stop-Gap Spending Measure

According to numerous media sources, New York Democrat Representative Jamaal Bowman pulled an emergency fire alarm in the House of Representatives today in an effort to delay the spending bill that was being debated.

In ordinary times, this would lead to arrest and possible removal from office.  However, amid the DC dual justice system, and protected by cultural Marxism, it’s likely Bowman will receive no punishment.  His actions were captured on CCTV video.

(Via Politico) – Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) pulled the fire alarm in a House office building as his party tried to delay a vote on a hurried House GOP stopgap spending bill, according to the Republican-controlled Administration Committee.

[…] Neither the U.S. Capitol Police nor Bowman immediately returned a request for comment on the fire alarm activation, which multiple people familiar with the situation said was caught on camera as the House descended into fresh chaos on Saturday. (link)

Uniparty Speaker Kevin McCarthy passed the 45-day stopgap funding patch, 335-91, with help from more than 200 Democrats and 90 Republicans voting no. {Details}

Federal IRS Contractor Arrested for Stealing and Leaking President Trump Tax Returns, Also Stole Thousands of Tax Returns from U.S. Wealthiest People

Posted originally on the CTH on September 30, 2023 | Sundance

There is no way you can convince me that a federal contractor unlawfully accessing the tax filings of a sitting U.S. President does not immediately send flags throughout the IRS system.

The amount of pretending needed not to see the background of this story is off the charts.

JUSTICE – An Internal Revenue Service (IRS) consultant was charged today with disclosing tax return information without authorization.

According to court documents, Charles Littlejohn, 38, of Washington, D.C., while working at the IRS as a government contractor, stole tax return information associated with a high-ranking government official (Public Official A) and disclosed it to a news organization (News Organization 1). Littlejohn also stole tax return information for thousands of the nation’s wealthiest individuals, and disclosed this tax return information to another news organization (News Organization 2).

Littlejohn is charged with one count of unauthorized disclosure of tax returns and return information. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of five years in prison. (read more)

Something Necessary to Understand About Washington DC

Posted originally on the CTH on September 29, 2023 | Sundance

Spurred from several recent conversations, it becomes entirely necessary for this specific audience to understand a reality that is never discussed.

If you are reading this, wherever you are reading this, by self-association you are in a select group of high information people with a much larger understanding of the issues than your network.  That means you know, comprehend, understand and have a level of insight and discernment that is far above average.  Now, let me be brutally honest.

Factually speaking, all of the people within the mechanisms of DC,  the people you associate with being key allies to fight back against the visible corruption,  the people you assign hope toward,  are not as smart as you.

Re-read that as needed.

One of the biggest shifts of thinking needed, in order to change our dynamic to the abusive relationship with government, is to realize these people you consider important are just not that smart. They are not wiser; they are not more strategic; they are not as well versed in the details at the heart of the crisis; they are not as well informed; they do not have special access to information that makes them more capable; they do not understand the issues better than you.

Again, RE-READ that with new eyes to evaluate and understand the challenge.

It doesn’t matter what position they hold, or what access they have, or what groups, interests, networks or information resources are at their disposal.  You know more than them, and you understand the material at a much higher level of comprehension than they do.  It does not matter what their rank or importance is, YOU know more. Once you realize this, then you begin to change how you look at the challenge and at their functional capability within it.

The informational context you assign to them does not exist.  The things you think they know, they don’t.  The very specific information you believe they are aware of, does not exist in their mind.  The people in Washington DC, those allies who you think might have the skills to fix issues, have no concept of what material you are aware of.   You are light years ahead of them in the scale of information you understand, and the context it means.

I am not being hyperbolic.

Here’s the kicker….  They think they are more aware than you.

The system around them reinforces a belief that they hold some level of knowledge that you do not have. As a result, when they engage with you, they talk down to you, or talk in a manner of unintentional intellectual condescension that stems from a place where they cannot fathom your level of knowledge.

If you have the opportunity to talk to them, I mean really get beyond the surface level stuff and dig into the weeds (even the shallow weeds), suddenly they start to get a strange look on their face – that becomes fear – as your knowledge starts to destabilize their prior view of you.

Let me be very clear and precise.  It doesn’t matter who they are, or what title they hold; the same reality of material fact that I am describing applies to all of them – at every level.

If you think of a top apex-level person, currently or formerly inside government, that aligns with the principles of freedom and liberty – and has a keen awareness of the issues and subject matter that has created our current crisis dynamic, I have likely spoken to them.   Those who fit that description, and may even be reading this right now, will tell you in a moment of brutal honesty, I am correct.

The people you think can fix this stuff  have no idea how much you know.  Additionally, it becomes destabilizing and unnerving for them to accept your level of information and understanding.

Another key and important element, beyond the knowledge, intellect, wisdom and discernment level… YOU care more about it than they do.  The stuff that you know, the stuff that you yearn for them to address and fix, is more important to you than it is to them.

Why am I telling you this?

Because we all need to change your reference points when communicating with them.  We need to confront their condescension early in our contact.  We need to be deliberate, direct, and brutally honest in our delivery.

When we write to them, articulate the arguments.  When we talk to them, pull them into the weeds of the issues and force them to see that our grasp of the topic far exceeds their ability to bullshit their way around the issue.

Being courteous, respectful and considerate for their role, does not mean you have to dumb yourself down or consider yourself subservient to their view.

I guarantee you two things.  First, that you know the material better than they do. Second, I absolutely guarantee that you care more than they do.  What that latter element says about the challenge is for another discussion, but these key points need to be emphasized.

That’s it.

Love to all,

Colony Ridge – Migrant Town Run by Cartels in Rural Texas

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Sep 29, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Secretive migrant towns filled with undocumented persons are springing up in the US. The largest known town is located in Colony Ridge, Texas, and spans 60 square miles. No one knows exactly how many people are living there, but the general estimate is 75,000. Who has the money to buy properties and support these towns? First, the US government is providing aid to all illegals since they need them here. Secondly, the drug cartels who came into our country to escape prosecution on their own.

Texas Governor Greg Abbott said he plans to crack down on these colonies in October because it simply has gone too far. The Liberty County Sheriff, Bobby Rader, said that his department is unable to help due to the current laws. “I’ve heard rumors that the cartel is buying up these houses,” Rader said. “We don’t have any access. If they don’t break the law we don’t know about it. We can’t go and knock on doors and ask if people are doing it. It’s a problem. It’s a big, big problem.”

The media has buried the stories, but numerous murders, rapes, and drug overdoses have occurred as there is no law and order. One Mexican national is on the run after murdering a family of five from Honduras, including an 8-year-old girl. Last June, a local dog brought home a human hand. The body was too decomposed to identify. Last September, a 16-year-old girl from Honduras was found dead in a ditch wearing her waitress uniform. Police listed “gang overtones” as the motive. Two middle schoolers were found dead with bullet wounds this April. The list of crimes goes on and on. Basically, there are cartel gangs from all over South America fighting one another within this outlaw community.

This began a decade ago and has only grown since Biden opened the borders. When cash is not an option, the cartels use Individual Tax Identification Numbers (ITIN) loans as they do not require a Social Security number, job history, or legal residency. Some use owner-to-owner transfer methods to avoid loans but most of the houses in these areas are makeshift shacks. William ‘Trey’ Harris, a developer in Texas, was recently accused of selling land to illegal migrants without the proper paperwork. Yet, these migrants are also receiving taxpayer funding to run these shanty towns.

This is a glimpse of what will happen throughout the US. Numerous countries like El Salvador, Honduras, and Venezuela implemented mass incarceration for gang and cartel members. Those who were not caught have snuck into the US where they will reoffend. Colony Ridge is just the beginning.

Matt Gaetz Explains Why Biden Inflation Means Congressional Bribes Must be Paid in Gold Bars

Newsom Vetoes Parental Discrimination Gender Identity Bill

Armstrong Economics Blog/WOKE Re-Posted Sep 27, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Some say California’s Governor Gavin Newsom is attempting to appear more moderate ahead of election season. Newsom actually used common sense and defied party lines by vetoing a bill that would have taken children away from parents who refuse to provide them with gender-affirming care.

Democratic Assemblymember Wendy Carrillo and Democratic state Sen. Scott Wiener introduced AB-957 Family law: gender identity, and it actually passed state legislature in September. The bill would have likened refusing gender-affirming care to child abuse. So if you refuse to give your child puberty blockers or put a tutu on your son who claims he is your daughter, you are unfit to be a parent in Biden’s America. Forget the statistics or the growing number of adults who are forever scarred from the medical procedures their parents allowed them to undergo before their brains had fully developed.

Newsom stated that provisions are already in place that “protect” children from parents not adhering to the woke agenda. This is commonplace in California family court as parents will attempt to discredit the other for not accepting their child’s chosen gender or sexuality. Children have already been removed from their homes for this very reason, but the proposed bill would have made it easier for the government to confiscate confused kids.

Now, Newsom is still a strong advocate of children undertaking genital mutilation. However, he is attempting to seem a bit more moderate as Democrats in the middle are not in favor of these measures. “I share a deep commitment to advancing the rights of transgender Californians, an effort that has guided my decisions through many decades in public office,” Newsom wrote in the announcement. “That said, I urge caution when the Executive and Legislative branches of state government attempt to dictate – in prescriptive terms that single out one characteristic – legal standards for the Judicial branch to apply.”

California lawmakers are introducing new legislation at rapid speed, and it is all intended to transfer parental rights to the state. There are proposals to allow children to seek psychiatric care in relation to their gender without notifying parents. There is another proposal that would provide shelter to children as young as 12 if they reported facing “LGBTQ+ negativity” at home. These are intended to be broad terms to give the state the power to confiscate kids. When my kids were young, you’d have to sign a letter just to let them go on a school trip a few miles away. Now, parents are fighting with the school boards to have a say in how their child is raised.
