Following the terrorist attack against Coptic Christians in Egypt, Egyptian military jets attacked Islamic extremist positions in eastern Libya. The officials said the warplanes on Friday targeted the headquarters of the Shura Council in the city of Darna, where local militias are known to be linked to al-Qaida, not the Islamic State group.
The retaliatory bombings were aimed at terrorist outposts, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi stated: “any form of state-sponsored terrorism should be punished. Anyone who attacks Egypt, whether they’re from inside or outside Egypt’s borders, will be punished.” According to Egyptian TV six “terrorist” camps were struck by the sortie.
The jihadist targets selected by Egypt are thought to be the Islamic assailants’ training grounds. In the aftermath of Gaddafi’s fall, Libya has become a failed state where terrorists organize and coordinate without much central government opposition. Eastern Libya is a stronghold for radical Islamic sentiment.
President Donald Trump condemned the murder of the Coptic Christians. “Evil organizations of terror” with a “thuggish ideology” are responsible for the attacks against Christians, they will be crushed, he said.

Today former CIA Director John Brennan testified to congress on the Russian counter-intelligence operation which began in July 2016. Today, John Brennan completely contradicted the March 20th, 2017, testimony of former FBI Director James Comey.
We have previously drawn attention to a particular part of former FBI Director James Comey’s testimony to congress from March 20th. The issue is when was congressional leadership, specifically the congressional intelligence oversight group called the “Gang-of-Eight”, notified of the Russian investigation (a counter-intelligence operation).
Pay close attention. On March 20th FBI Director James Comey -together with NSA head Admiral Mike Rogers- testified to congress specifically about this notification (first three minutes of the video):
Rep. Stefanik: [01:12] …”when did you notify the White House, the DNI or congressional leadership”?
James Comey: …”good question. Congressional leadership, sometime recently they were briefed on the nature of the investigation, as I said. Obviously the department of justice has been aware of it all along”…

Notice the discomfort etc. We have previously outlined why THAT is such a big deal –SEE HERE– Comey is discussing the recent notification to congress that took place approximately a week earlier. Prior to that congressional notification FBI Director Comey admits to keeping congress in the dark “because of the sensitivity of the matter” from July 2016 through March 2017.

Brennan: [13:35] “Third, through the so-called Gang-of-Eight process we kept congress apprised of these issues as we identified them.”
“Again, in consultation with the White House, I PERSONALLY briefed the full details of our understanding of Russian attempts to interfere in the election to congressional leadership; specifically: Senators Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, Dianne Feinstein and Richard Burr; and to representatives Paul Ryan, Nancy Pelosi, Devin Nunes and Adam Schiff between 11th August and 6th September [2016], I provided the same briefing to each of the gang of eight members.”
“Given the highly sensitive nature of what was an active counter-intelligence case [that means the FBI], involving an ongoing Russian effort, to interfere in our presidential election, the full details of what we knew at the time were shared only with those members of congress; each of whom was accompanied by one senior staff member.”…
Brennan goes on to say the main substance of those Go8 meetings was the same as the main judgements of the January classified and unclassified intelligence assessments published by the CIA, FBI, DNI and NSA (intelligence community).
That January reference was the infamous 17 agencies report, from CIA (Brennan), DNI (Clapper), FBI (Comey) and NSA (Rogers), all who had confidence, according to the report, that Russia was attempting to interfere in the 2016 election.
Now, a critic might think that Brennan is informing congress on one thing, and Comey is NOT INFORMING congress on another. However, that angle is rebuked by Brennan’s own testimony that his specific intelligence product (CIA) was given to the FBI who were exclusively in charge of the “counter-intelligence investigation“.
What’s happening here is actually John Brennan throwing James Comey under the bus.
[…] Brennan gave Comey the investigative product -which had nothing to do with the Trump team- and Comey used it to carry out Obama, Hillary, and Susan Rice’s dirty work for them. Of course Brennan was in on the whole thing and is now saving his own skin by saying ” I briefed ya’ll on everything I had with regards to Russia, anything additional that arose please talk to my buddy Comey”.
Brennan is making Comey own the “Counter-Intelligence ‘Muh Russia’” claims about the Trump campaign. Brennan trying to make Comey the fall-guy for a Robert Mueller investigative outcome. Brennan knows there’s no ‘there’ there.
The entire construct of the “Russian Investigation” was the political use of a claimed investigation in order to weaken President-Elect Trump. There simply is no ‘there’ there because there’s no substantive evidence to support a “Trump Campaign Collusion Narrative”.
As such, John Brennan has realized that someone has focused attention on Comey’s admission to congress that the FBI intentionally kept congress in the dark during the construct of the counter-intel narrative. Congress was kept in the dark during this phase because the narrative can only thrive with innuendo, rumor, gossip etc. The appearance of the investigation itself was the political need; the substance was non-existent and immaterial to the creation of the narrative.
If Comey notified congress, via the Gang of Eight oversight, the counter-intel narrative would have been harder to manufacture as details would have to be consistent. That’s the benefit to keeping any oversight away while creating the politically useful narrative.
John Brennan, facing the looming certainty of the underlying Russian ‘collusion evidence’ being non-existent, is now trying to give the appearance that he briefed congress on larger Russian election interference issues. However , the trouble for Brennan is his own admission that these issues were the underlying principle for the FBI counter-intelligence investigation. Brennan specifically says he gave his intelligence product to the FBI.
Brennan is throwing Comey under the bus and attempting to create plausible deniability for his role in a constructing a political narrative; a false narrative.

The all out war going on in Washington is to get rid of Trump to prevent him from “draining the swamp” and to stop any tax reform or reform of the Deep State. At this point anyone can say whatever they want and the press as well as Congress will take it as absolute Truth. Trump stands no chance at this point regardless of what the truth may be. Michael Flynn served as the twenty-fifth national security advisor from January 20, 2017, to February 13, 2017. The Comey Memo was dated the day AFTER Flynn resigned, according to the New York Times.
Even if Trump did say “I hope you can let this go” after Flynn was fired because he is a decent guy is quite obstruction of justice since Flynn was removed. Prosecution is always the “discretion” of the Justice Department and not the FBI, which merely investigates. The FBI has no power to bring changes it only can make a recommendation to the Justice Department. Trump fired Flynn on the recommendation of the Justice Department, not Comey.
The reason Comey was terminated upon the recommendation of the Justice Department was because during the Clinton investigation, Comey overstepped his authority and made the decisions about Hillary that were the jurisdiction of the Justice Department. The FBI has no such authority other than to investigate.
Nevertheless, The Washington Post is pushing really hard to get Trump thrown out of office. This is their end goal. The Washington Post has once again revealed how the Deep State leaks confidential material directly to them all the time to help in this effort to overthrown Trump. They now reported:
Trump made separate appeals to the director of national intelligence, Daniel Coats, and to Adm. Michael S. Rogers, the director of the National Security Agency, urging them to publicly deny the existence of any evidence of collusion during the 2016 election.
Coats and Rogers refused to comply with the requests, which they both deemed to be inappropriate, according to two current and two former officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss private communications with the president.
Where the Comey memo written after Flynn is fired is not obstruction of justice to keep Flynn, these allegations can be used to impeach Trump and the question becomes how many Republicans are willing to risk a backlash from their own party supporters to protect the Deep State?
We are witnessing the break-down of government on a grand scale. This is a desperate measure to get rid of Trump to protect the privileged class in Washington politically as well as the Deep State, which is showing just how corrupt they truly are and the links with the New York Times and Washington Post. They are setting the world up for a complete collapse in any civil society. They are proving that democracy does not work and we are clearly living in an authoritarian oligarchy out to protect itself at all costs. Together with his family and diplomatic team, U.S. President Donald Trump became the first president to visit Jerusalem’s Western Wall on Monday. President Trump stood before the holiest place where Jews are permitted to pray before inserting a note between the monumental stones.
President Trump and First Lady Melania Trump were accompanied by the Rabbi of the Western Wall, Shmuel Rabinowitz, who said on Israel Radio that he recited two psalms with the U.S. leader. One of them, Psalm 122, speaks of Jerusalem as a “city that is united together”.
The president was also joined on the visit by his daughter Ivanka and son-in-law, Jared Kushner, an Orthodox Jew who went to the wall shortly after Trump and said prayers. Both Kushner and Trump wore black kippahs, the skull caps worn by religious Jews and by others as a mark of respect.
As President Trump and Jared Kushner visited the area of the wall set aside for men, First Lady Melania Trump and First Daughter Ivanka, Kushner’s wife, visited a separate nearby section where women are allowed to pray.

A person familiar with the situation says CEO Mark Fields is retiring at age 56 after 28 years at the company. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the official announcement hasn’t been made.
Fields will be replaced by Jim Hackett, who joined Ford’s board in 2013, this person says. Hackett has led Ford’s mobility unit since last year. He is the former CEO of office furniture maker Steelcase. Fields helped lead Ford’s turnaround a decade ago as president of its Americas division. But the company’s stock price has fallen almost 40 percent in the three years since he became CEO. (link)

The entire reason Mark Fields was doomed to certain failure was outlined in that 2016 interview and the expressed ideological presentation he espoused.

The manner in which the press acts and Congress, shows they are colluding to the point that they are desperately trying to get rid of Trump at all costs. However, what they are doing in the process is completing the forecast made by our model that this is the collapse in the confidence of government.
This desperate act to prevent any reform is dangerously taking the domestic political situation in the United States and attributing everything to Russian influence. What they are actually doing is harming the image of the United States globally. Their actions reveal that they are either just stupid or they are really sinister, dangerous, and highly dishonest people seeking to establish their own personal agenda regardless what the people vote for or what is best for the nation.
There are many politicians who are against democracy for this is exactly what is going on. We are witnessing an unprofessional and detrimental agenda to the entire business of managing any state. Of course there will be those who instantly say I am referring to Putin. No – this anti-democratic movement applies directly to those in Washington DC as well as Brussels. The very structure of the EU was a deliberate denial of any messy democratic process. The Commission never stands for election. The people can only vote for those in Parliament which has no real vote to do anything but put of a show. The Troika is composed of the head of the ECB, head of the IMF and head of the EU. None of these people are elected.
What is taking place in the United States at this moment indeed exposes the fallacy of democracy. The move to overthrow Trump is the belief that democracy is not fair when one side loses. They refuse to accept anything that Trump promised, and we have women being removed from airplanes for beating up a fellow passenger because he voted for Trump. They really expect that removing Trump will not further divide the country and send it into serious civil unrest. We are witnessing the end of any pretended democratic process.
So why is the press and the Democrats fighting so hard no less the pretend Republicans like John McCain and Lindsey Graham? McCain and Graham are simply against reforming a perfectly good corrupt system where they get all the perks. The Democrats and the Press are in crash mode. They are fighting against extinction.
The confidence in the mainstream media is at historic lows. You would think they should look at what they are doing and reflect upon reform. No, they simply go all the way with their bias. The Gallup Pollis now at 32% of the people trust the media.
When we look at the Gallup Poll in the degree of trust people have in Congress, we see an astonishing 6% number.
As the confidence in government and the press collapses, this is what is undermining the future. They are not merely destroying the image of the country while making themselves look like buffoons, they are setting this all up for a collapse in the bond markets and a shift to private assets as we conclude this economic business cycle wave. Confidence in Congress and the Press are collapsing.

The long-term potential shift of mentality within the general population throughout those regions may now include an enhanced awareness the United States and the true principles upon which it is founded.
As well, such may have implications long-term on how the Qur’an may be interpreted as critical historical scholarship concerning its historical sources and meanings will likely become more thoroughly examined and assimilated. This may be but one of the fruits to emerge from the President’s proposal of establishing a ‘Globalist Center for Combating Extremist Ideology’.

President Trump is challenging Islam to cleanse itself of evil, not us; “them“, their fight, their struggle – our support.
[…] The expressed policy outlook of President Trump is for the United States to be the best; and through our actions and behaviors to lead on global initiatives that show how we define ourselves and our values.
This approach is specifically centered around a policy position stating we do not need to demand acceptance of those values, and we respect independent nations’ that may hold values or beliefs not identical to our own.
Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has cultured this approach throughout each of his diplomatic engagements. The U.S. leans forward on all Trump policy objectives through the perspective of our national needs first; but that does not necessarily mean we demand or force other nations into a compliance mindset.
Compliance implies aversarialism. President Trump and Secretary Tillerson do not view international engagements as necessarily adversarial.
The U.S. can engage eye-to-eye with the same level of respect to the smallest as we exhibit toward the largest (our own size does not need to be part of the equation, it is self evident), and work policy objectives toward the point of mutual benefit. If the engaged nation does not receive benefit from the policy, we do not demand an acceptance of it; and more importantly we express both an understanding and a respect of their position and inability.
This Trumpian approach, a willingness not to undermine and to accept the partners downside position within any policy, is grounded on inherent truth.
President Trump and Secretary Tillerson openly accept and admit when the engaged partner will be unable to meet our defined terms; we discuss what actions can be take to remove the inherent obstacle in the future; we make a commitment (or not) toward removing that obstacle; we shake hands and we part company retaining the position of friendship and optimism for the potential of re-engagement at a later date.
[…] This dynamic is unique – because no member of the Trump Administration’s policy team is approaching any of the policies from a position of their own inherent politics. SHARON – If, on the other hand, he does actually understand Islam and as the President of our Sovereign Nation wishes to speak truth to a great assembly of Islamic leaders while demanding their respect and expecting a yielding response, how would he speak differently?
There are people I do not trust as far as I can throw them (including some in my own extended family) but I do not thereby refuse to speak with them or count every occasion in their presence as an opportunity to go after their worst foibles.
Are you assuming that Trump does not understand Islam because he is present with them? Do you assume that he doesn’t understand Chinese Communism because he met with President Xi? Do you assume that he doesn’t understand Catholicism because he won’t (as a Presbyterian) go to the Vatican and preach John Calvin?
Are you projecting your perceptions of what he should do instead of what he did do and assuming that his choice – different than yours – reflects lack of understanding?
This actually is the man who has persisted in stopping/restricting Moslem immigration into the United States. Seems to me that reflects some basic understanding of Islam. (link)
