Friday night a total of 26 barges, 23 loaded and 3 empty, broke loose from their moorings along the Ohio River near Pittsburgh and floated uncontrolled until they were mostly recovered. There were no reports of injuries, but a marina sustained extensive damage in the incident.
The Pittsburgh Public Safety said in a statement, “At 11:25 p.m., Pittsburgh Fire, EMS, and Police were dispatched for reports of barges breaking loose and floating uncontrolled down the Ohio River.
In total, 26 barges broke loose; 23 were loaded and three were empty. Those that were loaded had dry cargo such as coal, and no hazardous materials on board. There have been no reports of people injured, but Peggy’s Marina sustained extensive damage.
Eleven of the barges have been located and pinned against the river bank by Brunot Island and currently being held by a tugboat. Fourteen continued down the river and six have gone over the Emsworth Dam.
The barges are owned or operated by Campbell Transportation Company located on the left descending bank of the Ohio River, just downstream from the McKees Rocks Bridge.
The West End Bridge was closed in both directions and rail traffic was shut down on the rail bridge to Brunot Island. Both will be reopened when it is determined that it is safe to do so.
The Coast Guard, Pennsylvania State Police, and various law enforcement, EMS agencies, and fire departments in neighboring jurisdictions have been notified.” (LINK)
“Campbell Transportation Company, Inc. is actively responding to a recent development involving a multi-barge breakaway in Pittsburgh. Our immediate priority is ensuring public safety and minimizing any potential environmental impact,” the statement read. “The incident occurred under high water conditions on the rivers resulting in strong currents due to flooding in the area.” (SOURCE)

Former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson reemerges from the shadows whenever he hears word that a war may be winding down. Johnson made an emergency trip to Ukraine when Zelensky was considering a peace deal with Russia, urging him to continue the endless war. According to Johnson, Russia was a threat to world peace, and Ukraine had the responsibility to fight a war of good vs. evil. Now, Johnson has reemerged from hiding to issue the same warning about issuing a ceasefire in Palestine.
The UK has already issued £87 million to fund the war on Palestine. The UK has provided Israel with £725 million, a low estimate, in arms since 2008. There are now calls from every corner for a ceasefire, as you cannot simply wipe out an entire nation to catch a group of terrorists. Palestine has no official army, human rights groups are outraged that countless Palestinians are being murdered on a daily basis, and everyone, including the United Nations, has asked Israel to back down.
“If you want an example of the death wish of Western civilization [sic], I give you the current proposal from members of the British establishment that this country should ban arms sales to Israel. If you want evidence of government madness, it appears that Foreign Office lawyers are busily canvassing the idea — which has not, as far as I can tell, yet been rejected by the Foreign Secretary himself. He seems to have gone into a kind of purdah on the subject,” wrote Johnson.
Israel is fully equipped with an elite military and arsenal that unofficially includes nuclear power. Since the terrorist attack on October 7, 2023, nearly 34,000 Palestinians have been killed by the IDF, including 13,000 children, and nearly 76,000 have been critically injured. Over 8,000 people are missing in Gaza. Estimates state that 1,139 Israeli troops have been killed, with nearly 9,000 injured. This is not a fair war by any means.
Gaza is in ruins. Around 80% of schools and commercial buildings have been wiped out in Gaza, according to the UN’s Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the World Health Organization, and the Palestinian government. Around 83% of groundwater wells have been terminated. Humanitarian aid cannot reach Gaza, and aid workers from around the world are rapidly dying in the crossfire.
“More alarming still, we are told that an Israeli arms ban is the subject of an active row in Cabinet, with only a handful of ministers positively sticking up for Israel. The contagion has spread pretty wide, and very fast. The proposed embargo is now supported by MPs on all sides, by the former head of MI6, by some former Supreme Court Justices, and by about 600 members of the legal profession, all of them clamouring for us to turn our backs on the only democracy in the Middle East,” Johnson continued. “Let us be clear what it would mean, to ban arms sales now, when Israel is under a greater existential threat than at any time I can remember. If we ban the sale of arms ourselves, it surely follows that we do not think any self-respecting country should be arming the Israelis.”
Hamas does not pose a threat to the world’s stability. The inflation that will come from supporting endless wars, however, will pose a threat as it is further sinking nations into debt and contributing to the sovereign debt crisis. Neocon Boris Johnson does not care about the well-being of society, as his only goal is to support endless wars at the expense of the people on both sides.
Joe Biden’s daughter, Ashley, famously had her diary stolen from a sex addict rehabilitation center. Some believe the president’s daughter left the diary behind deliberately so that someone would know her truth. In September 2020, the woman who found the diary sold it to Project Veritas for $20,000. After denying that the diary was real, the Department of Justice (DOJ) is now seeking to imprison the duo who sold the diary.
Ashley Biden’s diary revealed she was “hyper-sexualized at a young age” due to her father, the current President of the United States. She wrote that she recalls being forced to shower with her father, Joe Biden, and that those showers were not appropriate.
Now, can you imagine if one of Trump’s daughters made these claims about him?
FBI Assistant Director Michael J. Driscoll said, “As they’ve admitted with today’s pleas, the defendants conspired to steal an individual’s personal property, which they subsequently sold to a third party and delivered across state lines. As a consequence of their actions, they now face punishment in the federal criminal justice system for their crimes.I’d like to thank the Public Corruption Units at both the FBI’s New York Office and the United States Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York for their dedicated effort in this case.” That was two years ago, and the government is still trying to silence the people who read the full contents of that diary.
Project Veritas was raided before they could publish the full diary. The defendants forfeited their $20,000 profit as well. Intelligence agencies confiscated all evidence, forced Ashley Biden to claim she lied, and then denied the authenticity of the diary. If they cannot verify its authenticity, why are they seeking to imprison those who found it four years later when Joe is up for re-election?
The diary was real. Why does the far-left call Trump a sexist womanizer while ignoring that there is evidence Joe Biden molested his underaged daughter? How disgusting could someone’s character be to do that to their own child? It is unfathomable. Again, that diary was real, and the DOJ’s continued attacks only prove its validity.
