Nick Sandmann’s Lawyer, Lin Wood, Discusses Covington Lawsuits…

Attorney for Covington High School student Nick Sandmann, Lin Wood, discusses the ongoing lawsuits against media enterprises including the Washington Post and CNN:

Covington Lawyer Reveals Plan to File Suit Against CNN Likely Next Week…

The lawyer representing Covington High School student Nick Sandmann has told Fox News he plans to file a lawsuit against CNN likely next week.

According to Fox News, lawyer L Lin Wood discussed his intentions for a more than $250 million lawsuit in an upcoming broadcast interview with host Mark Levin:

(FOX NEWS) CNN is likely to be hit with a massive lawsuit worth more than $250 million over alleged “vicious” and “direct attacks” on Covington Catholic High School student Nick Sandmann, his lawyer has told Fox News.

Lawyer L. Lin Wood discussed his decision to sue CNN for its reporting and coverage of his client during an interview that will air on Fox News Channel’s “Life, Liberty & Levin” on Sunday at 10 p.m. ET.

[…] “CNN was probably more vicious in its direct attacks on Nicholas than The Washington Post. And CNN goes into millions of individuals’ homes.”

[…] “They really went after Nicholas with the idea that he was part of a mob that was attacking the Black Hebrew Israelites, yelling racist slurs at the Black Hebrew Israelites. Totally false.

“Now you say you’ve seen the tape; if you took the time to look at the full context of what happened that day, Nicholas Sandmann did absolutely nothing wrong. He was, as I’ve said to others, he was the only adult in the room. But you have a situation where CNN couldn’t resist the idea that here’s a guy with a young boy, that Make America Great Again cap on. So they go after him.”

Wood continued: “The CNN folks were online on Twitter at 7 a.m retweeting the little one-minute propaganda piece that had been put out. … They’re out there right away going after this young boy. And they maintain it for at least two days. Why didn’t they stop and just take an hour and look through the Internet and find the truth and then report it? Maybe do that before you report the lies.”

[…] “I’ve got some young, smart lawyers that are working hard as we can,” he told Levin. “Double-checking, and listen, when we file complaints, we’ve investigated it because we want to get it right. Maybe CNN can learn from that.” (read more)

35% of American Believe Government is the Problem

DowIntRates-1929The results of my life research, reading every newspaper story going into the bull market of the Roaring ’20s and the Great Depression revealed that before the high in 1929, when interest rates were rising, people interpreted it as BULLISH for it demonstrated that there was STILL a demand for money. Indeed, interest rates decline when people are not interested in borrowing, and as such, stock markets historically decline. It was this correlation that revealed the shift in confidence between the PUBLIC sector and the PRIVATEsector.

Following the Great Depression, the confidence shifted to government with FDR’s New Deal.  That is when the bond market outperforms stocks as the confidence shifts. In the current wave, the confidence has shifted back to thePRIVATE sector and this is what the Gallup Poll is showing — 35% of American believe that the government is the NUMBER ONE PROBLEM.

Indeed, 42% of Americanshave identified themselves as independents in 2017, up from 39% in 2016. Everything that the model has been forecasting has been spot on.

A November Gallup poll found that 54% of Democrats were actually Democratic-leaning independents who wanted the party to become “more moderate,” while only 41% wanted it to be more left. That contrasted with the Republicans and their allies, 57% of whom wanted a more conservative party with less government and lower taxes. Meanwhile, the most startling Gallup Poll to date, taken on Feb 18th, 2019, after the midterm elections, reported that 35% of Americans now believe that government/leadership is the top problem facing the country. Only 11% cited Donald Trump while 18% cited gridlock.

In politics, as of February 2019, the Gallup Poll shows it is a dead heat between people who identify themselves as Democrat (30%) or Republican (31%). However, those who identify themselves as independent came in at 37%. Now there are more people joining the ranks of independent than there are party members on either side. Fox News has replaced CNN as the #1 news station and Fox was ranked the “most trusted” American TV news brand in the United States. It came in second just behind only the British-based BBC. Yet in Britain itself, only one in six people trust the BBC.
