The Talk of “Preemptive Pardons”

Posted originally on the CTH on December 5, 2024 | Sundance

Anytime the professional leftists lose anything, they immediately become victims.  Whether defeated in the battle of ideas (retreat to safe spaces), defeated in the field of pop culture, or even defeated linguistically through debate (words are violence).  Whenever the professional left loses, they immediately become victims.  It’s what they do.

The professional political left, newest version from the Chicago spawn of Dohrn/Ayers, has been waging full combat Lawfare via a weaponized government for the past 16 years.  However, Obama/Plouffe were defeated, “their kind” rose again and won the 2024 U.S. Presidential election.

What we see in this “preemptive pardon” narrative, is a repeat of the victim narrative.  This time the White House discussion boils down to ‘Lawfare agents must be protected from any retaliation for their action’.  Pardons presumably provide the mechanism to protect the victims.  In the big picture of ideology, this is a continuation of the same mindset.

Politico started the narrative with an outline {SEE HERE} saying the White House was having an internal debate as to whether Joe Biden should preemptively issue pardons to members of the J6 committee, members who constructed false impeachment accusations, members within the DOJ who fabricated political cases using the Special Counsel process, or generally people on the political left who supported/facilitated all the aforementioned false attack fronts.

As the narrative is told, all those who supported the attacks against President-Elect Trump and his allies, now need to be protected from “retribution.”  Inherent in the argument, and within the use of pardons, is the baseline that some form of illegal activity was taking place.  Heck, if it wasn’t unlawful conduct, then no pardon would be needed.  This is the political catch-22 created by the preemptive pardon narrative.

Various congressional people, DOJ insiders, White House liaisons, State Dept officials and underling staff are all possible recipients if Joe Biden decides to take this unprecedented approach.  However, if you look at the expressed approach indicated by President Trump and the assembly of cabinet members who would be in place to carry out such “retribution,” you will not find any indication of intent.  Quite the opposite is true.

President Trump does not appear to be in alignment with any approach that would lead to legal indictments, arrests, charges or other legal accountability measures.  Beyond the public release of hidden, perhaps classified information that might put sunlight on the previous activity by those who weaponized their offices, there is nothing.  Sunlight on prior events, while moving forward to restore functioning law and order, appears to be the most likely approach.

WASHINGTON DC – […] The White House officials, however, are carefully weighing the extraordinary step of handing out blanket pardons to those who’ve committed no crimes, both because it could suggest impropriety, only fueling Trump’s criticisms, and because those offered preemptive pardons may reject them.

The deliberations touch on pardoning those currently in office, elected and appointed, as well as former officials who’ve angered Trump and his loyalists.

Those who could face exposure include such members of Congress’ Jan. 6 Committee as Sen.-elect Adam Schiff (D-Calif.) and former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney of Wyoming. Trump has previously said Cheney “should go to Jail along with the rest of the Unselect Committee!” Also mentioned by Biden’s aides for a pardon is Anthony Fauci, the former head of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases who became a lightning rod for criticism from the right during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The West Wing deliberations have been organized by White House counsel Ed Siskel but include a range of other aides, including chief of staff Jeff Zients. The president himself, who was intensely focused on his son’s pardon, has not been brought into the broad. (Read more)

In addition to their professional victim approach, the one constant with the Marxist left is their use of projection.  They weaponized government, so they anticipate the target of their weaponization efforts, Donald Trump, will return fire in kind.  Again, I highly doubt it.

All outward indications are that President Trump wants to create a legacy presidency for the Gen-Z generation (Barron), similar to what was created by Ronald Reagan for the Gen-X generation.  Selecting Susie Wiles as Chief of Staff is the strongest indication of this intent.

The appointments to White House legal counsel positions and Main Justice legal offices by President Donald Trump all appear to have one common denominator, to protect the President.  I strongly doubt there will be any effort beyond that.

♦BIG PICTURE – Once you understand what President Trump is assembling (the phalanx) and once you accept the mission of the DC system to defend itself by isolating a weak spot in the mechanism, then everything from the assembly of the cabinet to the process being discussed makes sense.

Within a phalanx, if one shield drops the entire construct is compromised. The strongest shields need to surround the core with ferocity.

The recent Supreme Court decision affirmed the President of the United States as the unitary, plenary power that controls every mechanism of the Executive Branch of government, and as long as the President is acting within his “official duty” he holds absolute power and absolute immunity.

Think of each cabinet member as a shield in this political phalanx that surrounds the weapon, President Trump.

Yes, the phalanx is by construct an offensive fortification used to advance upon the enemy. However, the strength of the phalanx is its ability to be impervious to attack from 360°.

The phalanx advances, inch by inch against a larger fortification. In the transition team assembly, this is what President Trump is putting together.

Hegseth is a key component of the phalanx, the fortification process that puts President Trump at the center of the cabinet. Each component of the cabinet protecting the center.

The phalanx is the mechanism to carry the weapon that is President Donald Trump. The DC UniParty is looking for a weakness in the phalanx like a wolf circling a porcupine.

President Donald Trump has turned his focus to the “war fighters,” the men and women who carry out the mission objective of the Defense Department. The nomination of Pete Hegseth represents the confrontation of a power struggle that has been decades in coming.

The self-serving Senators are trying to block Hegseth, while maintaining a position of pretending support for President Trump. The DeceptiCon republicans in the Senate are in full circling mode, looking for a weakness to exploit.

The schemes of the conniving Republican Senators are transparently visible in the efforts of Senator Joni Ernst, who is circling the phalanx President Trump is creating – while simultaneously inserting herself into the DOGE mission.

Ernst is doing Mitch’s work, under the instructions from Thune and Mitch. See Ernst with clear eyes.

One does not become unattached to corrupt intent.

CLEAR EYES!

.

I did not think President-elect Trump had the accurate laser vision for the task.

I was getting concerned.

Then I saw this…

Then I saw the *very specific* wording of this…

The McGinley move makes a lot of sense. DOGE and the Office of Management and Budgets (OMB) are going to be joined at the hip. They are going to have to navigate the Impoundment Control Act, challenging the system that places limits on a president’s ability to unilaterally withhold funding.

Inside that legal battle, deciding what DOGE can do without legislative approval, the OMB is going to be the execution part. McGinley will be the legal liaison focused on what technical approaches DOGE/OMB can execute. In essence, can they stop funding XXXX, thereby eliminating it?

That said, that’s not the important part.

The language President Trump is using to describe the role of David A. Warrington, the switched White House Counsel, is something entirely new.

Donald Trump says: “to serve as Assistant to the President and Counsel to the President. Dave will lead the Office of White House Counsel and serve as the top attorney in the White House.”

Normally the White House Counsel does not represent the interests of the President, the WHC represents the interests of the office.

I would appear to me, at least as I review the details, that President Trump is now fully aware how his Presidential interests can sometimes conflict with the interests of the White House Counsel, and he is making a move to ensure that conflict doesn’t happen.

An example of the conflict I have explained repeatedly in the “declassification of information.”

Not kidding, it is almost as if someone very close to President Trump read something I previously outlined, because it came with a serious warning borne out of years of frustration.

…[…] “In Term-1 the IC message to the WH Counsel was that if Donald Trump declassified any documents, they would use the DOJ (special counsel weapon) to attack the office of the president for “obstructing justice.” The WHC was fraught with fear over what would happen and demanded that POTUS Trump stop trying to declassify information/documents the IC didn’t support.”

The way President Trump is now portraying the role of the White House Counsel is to represent his interests first and foremost, then represent the interests of the office. In a few subtle, and not so subtle ways, this makes sense.

We can tell by the nominations to AG, DAG and DAG-NSD, that Main Justice is already positioned to defend and protect President Donald Trump. The people in charge of the silo are all loyalty-first people, aligned in the interests of President Trump.

It would appear that President Trump is now bringing that same outlook into the White House. The White House Counsel aligning in common purpose, with the specific purpose of executing the intentions of President Donald J Trump.

I’m glad to see this approach, because as I have repeatedly affirmed, ONLY PRESIDENT TRUMP (the person) can confront the Silo system in Washington DC.

That’s why the phalanx makes sense.

Days Ahead of Trump Arrival, the French Government Collapsed Under Weight of Their Own Cheese

Posted originally on the CTH on December 4, 2024 | Sundance

President Trump is scheduled to arrive in Paris this weekend.  Today, almost in an act of divine providence, the government collapsed.

French Prime Minister Michel Barnier will submit his resignation to French President Emmanuel Macron tomorrow, according to France’s BFMTV. He is expected at the Elysee Palace at 10am local time. Barnier’s resignation is a constitutional obligation after he lost a vote of no-confidence earlier Wednesday evening triggering the collapse of his government.

SUMMARY of EVENTS: •Michel Barnier lost a no-confidence vote, triggering the collapse of govt. •It marks the first time a French government has been toppled in this way in more than 60 years. •Barnier is now the shortest-serving prime minister in France’s modern Republic. •Left and far-right parties united to oust him following anger over his unpopular 2025 budget. •Both tabled motions of no-confidence after he used special powers to adopt part of the budget this week without a final vote in parliament. •Nationalist leader Marine Le Pen said the public needed to be protected from the “toxic” budget, and that pressure on Macron is getting “greater and greater”.

FRANCE – The government of President Emmanuel Macron collapsed Wednesday after the National Assembly voted for the first time in more than a half-century to oust a prime minister from office, a sign of the political gridlock that has paralyzed France. The development leaves the country’s public finances in limbo.

A no-confidence motion against the government of Prime Minister Michel Barnier won the support of 331 lawmakers in the 577-seat lower house, forcing him to resign.

Wednesday’s vote shows how the eurozone’s second-biggest economy risks becoming ungovernable. The growing fragmentation and polarization of France’s political ranks are testing the foundations of its democracy. The last time the National Assembly brought down a government was 1962 when France was reeling from the fallout of Algeria’s war for independence and an assassination attempt on then-President Charles de Gaulle.

Macron’s attempt to ward off the rise of Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally by calling snap elections this summer instead saddled the country with a hung parliament.

The National Assembly—which is divided between Macron loyalists, Le Pen’s ranks and an unruly alliance of leftist parties—splintered over its first order of business: approving the government’s budget for 2025. Le Pen and leftist lawmakers backed the no-confidence motion after Barnier  proposed 60 billion euros—equivalent to $63.1 billion—in spending cuts and tax increases. The budget aimed to narrow France’s deficit, which is projected to reach more than 6% of gross domestic product this year, double the European Union’s limit.  (read more)

… and President Trump is going to demand France spend more on NATO obligations.  lol 😂

Defense Secretary Nominee Pete Hegseth Vows to Stay on Mission as Senate Navigates Tear Down against Will of The People

Posted originally on the CTH on December 4, 2024 | Sundance

In the bigger picture, the U.S. Senate has been operating to control the military against the command of the President for multiple years.  The Intelligence Community is in general alignment with the core mission of weakening the Defense Department as part of the larger objective.

We have seen this approach in everything from the castration of General Petraeus to the advancement of wokeism.  The civilian leadership of the Defense Department, in combination with the influence of the U.S. Senate has led to a diminishment of mission priority. We have the outcomes through General Mattis, General H.R. McMaster, Lt Col Alexander Vindman, General James Kelly, all the way to Joint Chief’s Chairman Mark Milley; famously culminating in Milley collaborating with Chinese military leadership to undermine his own Commander-In-Chief, Donald Trump.

The DeceptiCon republicans in the Senate are in full circling mode, looking for a weakness to exploit.

.

According to Hegseth he is firm on the mission priority.  President Trump is in full support and the schemes of the conniving Republican Senators, transparently visible in the efforts of Senator Jodi Ernst, who is circling the phalanx President Trump is creating – while simultaneously inserting herself into the DOGE mission.  Ernst is doing Mitch’s work, under the instructions from Thune and Mitch.  See Ernst with clear eyes.

If Hegseth wasn’t a strong shield against their interests, his attack vectors would not be exploited this soon in the assembly.  They are focused on Hegseth because he represents a threat, a threat to remove decades of work done by the IC and their Senate supporting mechanism to weaken the U.S. Military.

The Senate wants the United States military to report to them, not to the U.S. Commander-in-Chief.

President Trump Gives Sea Island an Ironic Bone – Nominates Kelly Loeffler for Small Business Administration

Posted originally on the CTH on December 4, 2024 | Sundance

Eh, I’m not going to dwell on it.  Kelly is paying for the inauguration, and hubs Jeff is likely selling Bakkt to Nunes, so whatever.  But there is a remarkable irony with billionaire Kelly Loeffler, wife of NYSE owning billionaire Jeffrey Sprecher, being nominated for Administrator of the Small Business administration.

[Source]

I’m sure she will do fine.  If her presence on the sidelines helps the team, then cool.

Former Senator Kelly Loeffler is the wife of Jeffrey Sprecher. Kelly Loeffler was approved by the Sea Island control group, then appointed by Georgia Governor Kemp because Loeffler is married to Jeffrey Sprecher; a GOPe party insider, mega-donor, and multi-millionaire CEO of the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).

Jeffrey Sprecher (formerly from the Bush administration) is the founder and CEO of ICE, which now owns the New York Stock Exchange. Kelly Loeffler’s company, the financial platform Bakkt, is a subsidiary of the Intercontinental Exchange.  Bakkt is currently in the process of creating a Crypto exchange, with hopes of making Bakkt to U.S. Crypto what the NYSE is to stocks.

Kelly Loeffler purchased her recent Trump insiders’ ticket from Susie Wiles by leading the inauguration committee.  Where ‘leading’ is essentially financing it with her circle of friends.  On the upside, with this level of attachment to the Wall Street multinationals, the nomination of Loeffler is a nod to the Sea Island group (those that pay the Senators) as the larger Trump nomination process continues.

President Trump Switches Out White House Counsel Position – Announces David A. Warrington to Lead White House Counsel Office

This is interesting.  President Trump has announced that David A. Warrington will now lead the Office of the White House Counsel, as well as “Asst to the President and Counsel to the President.”  It would appear that President Trump is adjusting the legal framework within the office.

Originally, President Trump announced William Joseph McGinley to serve as White House Counsel; however, he has now moved McGinley to be the legal counsel covering DOGE, Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy.  Warrington will now lead the office of White House Counsel:

Coming from the partnership firm of Harmeet Dhillon gives Suspicious Cat, well, suspicions.  The notation is made, and we move along.

Below is the shift as explained by President Trump.

President Trump Announces Peter Navarro as Senior Counsellor for Trade and Manufacturing

Excellent news. Within trade and MAGAnomics Peter Navarro serves as the counterbalance to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and the influence visible with David Macintosh (Club for Growth).

President Trump announces the return of Peter Navarro in the role of Senior Advisor for Trade and Manufacturing.

[SOURCE]

Note the word “FAST,” that’s the element Navarro brings to the dynamic.

Where USTR Lighthizer was/is excellent, he was also a little cautious. Current USTR Jamieson Greer was Chief of Staff to former USTR Robert Lighthizer in term #1. Within term #2, speed in delivering the trade outcomes is paramount. We have a Marshal Plan to remove, as well as tariff priorities and the reestablishment of American manufacturing to kickstart fast.

As well as kicking sand in the face of The CoC and CfG, Navarro brings the speed part of the equation to the forefront. Perfect.

As long as the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and CfG can be kept away from the critical aspects of Trade negotiations, things will get done “FAST.”

As I have noted since the assembly of the cabinet team began to surface, the economic aspect looks really good. If we focus on the outcomes of the economic policy, we will all be in a very happy place.

If you focus on the Main Justice component hoping for accountability (or arrests), or if you focus on the IC aspect hoping for some implosion of their capacity, you will likely be disappointed. Good things will happen, but they are preliminary in purpose. However, if you focus on the outcomes that will surround your everyday life, things will be super cool.

The economic forecast is much greater, much more positive than anyone can yet imagine. There are really good outcomes clearly visible and within reach.

The key to a life of purpose is to appreciate God in all things; understand that a loving God surrounds you every day and cherishes you. Do not let your heart be troubled with dark imaginings of tomorrow. Live your very best life in the today that is immediately in front of you.

Yesterday is gone, you cannot change it.

Tomorrow is unknown, you cannot live it.

Today is yours.

Today is a gift, that’s why it is called “the present.”

Denver Spent $356 Million on Migrants – Mayor Will Fight Deportation Efforts

Posted originally on Dec 3, 2024 by Martin Armstrong

Denver Mayor Mike Johnston has said he would do everything in his power to prevent Trump from deporting migrants. One must question why Johnston is eagerly putting the taxpaying citizens of Denver last. The city may be a sanctuary for illegal trespassers but has become a nightmare for residents. The latest reports reveal that the city spent $356 in taxpayer funds, 8% of its budget, on migrants.

Roughly 45,000 migrants made their way to Denver since 2022, according to the Common Sense Institute (CSI). The city has spent $256 million educating 16,000 migrant children. The local healthcare system cannot accommodate the large influx but the city has spent $49 million on migrant healthcare after 8,000 migrants recorded around 20,000 visits to Denver Health alone last year. Doctors are calling the strain on the system a “humanitarian crisis” that has pushed the state hospital system to a breaking point. The hospital was forced to remove 15 beds in 2023 after finishing FY2022 $22 million above budget.

Surrounding suburbs have attempted to sue the city to no avail. Tren de Aragua, the violent Venezuelan gang, has taken over numerous apartment complexes as they terrorize citizens with no repercussions. Yet, Johnston and others in the far-left camp will not admit that open borders have ruined their cities. Instead, they focus on the “human rights” that should be awarded to everyone but American citizens.

Johnston said that he would prevent all measures to deport the migrants syphoning resources from his city AND he will encourage the people to protest. “More than us having DPD stationed at the county line to keep them out, you would have 50,000 Denverites there,” Johnston told reporters. “It’s like the Tiananmen Square moment with the rose and the gun, right? You’d have every one of those Highland moms who came out for the migrants. And you do not want to mess with them.” He is inciting civil unrest with this political rhetoric. Johnston believes he can offer himself as some sort of martyr to the Trump Administration as new border czar, Tom Homan, said he would happily arrest the mayor for interfering with federal law.

TiananmenSquareTanks

The Democrats are planning mass protests on January 20 when Trump is sworn into office, with the hope that he will be perceived as a dictator for calling in the National Guard. These sanctuary city leaders are playing the same dirty game as they are eager to see the National Guard arrive to spin it into a “Tiananmen Square moment.”
