The Maoist School of American Journalism

Let’s start with four statements widely recognized as accurate all along the opinion spectrum, from far-Left to far-Right.

  1. America’s Cancel Culture Revolution is led by Black Lives Matter (BLM).
  2. BLM was, allegedly, organized by three black women who self-identify as Marxist-Leninists.
  3. The U.S. legacy media—AKA “mainstream media”—characterizes the BLM/Antifa riots as “largely peaceful”.
  4. The Democratic Party, the largest, national, political organization supportive of the Cancel Culture Revolution, claims to be helping bring about “Social Justice.”

So, was there a time in the 20th Century where we witnessed a precursor of this symbiotic alignment between (A) a radical political ideology, and (B) a movement to erase a nation’s culture, that was (3) promoted by multiple, major outlets for disseminating “news” to the populous?

In 1949, Chinese news was captured by the Communist Party

Yes. This one comes to mind:

“In his ‘Letters to Journalist Comrades’ of January 12, 1958, Mao [Zedong] listed three functions of journalism, each of which is concerned with the hortatory rather than the reportorial function of the press: the first is ‘to mobilize and organize all people into a powerful force to realize…the various great tasked prescribed by the Party.’ The second is ‘to integrate the creativeness of the masses with their emotions and energy.’ The third and ‘most important’ function is the critical one: ‘to present convincing arguments to attack the various shades of opportunism, conservation, and destructive capitalism.’” 1(bolding added)

In 1949, Chinese news was captured by the Communist Party (CCP) as it became the primary propaganda apparatus for the CCP.

Here’s a short summary of how that happened.

”‘The role and power of newspapers consist in their ability to present the [Chinese Communist] Party’s line, its specific policies, goals and work methods, to the masses in the most effective and rapid of ways.’ This is how Chairman Mao Zedong, in 1961, explained why journalists and intellectuals had to take their orders from the Communist Party. After creating propaganda media during the years of resistance, Mao introduced the Leninist press model in Beijing and the rest of China. As the French academic Alain Peyraube wrote: ‘The political and ideological role (…) of the main mass media (print media, radio, TV, posters, cinema) is primordial.’ From the creation of the People’s Republic in 1949 onwards, the media are seen ‘not only as a collective propagandist and political agitator but also as an organiser’ of society.” 

“Sixty years [now 64] later, the Communist Party of China continues to be attached to Mao’s theory of the ‘mass line.’ The CCP’s leaders rule the masses. As they are not elected by the people, they are accountable not to the people but to the Party. When the theory is applied to journalism, the press becomes the means of communicating from top to bottom, the Party’s tool for “educating” the masses and mobilising popular will in support of socialism.” 2(bolding added)

Today’s America’s legacy news outlets focus on dissing a renegade President, while criticism of the Democrat candidates for senior leadership is muted.  Their efforts are supplemented by daily polling results that are, at best, suspicious.  At worst, manufactured.

Here, for example, is what that symbiotic alignment of the elements of propaganda look like in America with regard to current events in China.

While unprecedented flooding, both up- and down-stream from the gigantic Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River, reaches catastrophic levels, the breaking news in the U.S. is another “bombshell” book about Trump with a one-day, news-cycle life span. Significant fires in the American West are running second place.

Dallas WBAP News radio, owned by Cumulus Media, breathlessly reports that the U.S. has more virus deaths than any other country—thereby signaling that they, too, believe the news from China where the reported death toll flat-lined months ago.  Those same Chinese news outlets report that the death toll from the horrific flooding along the Yangtze and its tributaries remains less than 300, as whole cities wash away.

(For some reason, YouTube permits the scope of the disaster underway in China to be chronicled by sources that go unnoticed within the U.S. “news” industry.)

Because many American “reporters” are graduates of the Maoist School of Journalism, we citizens are among the least informed consumers of “news” among the peoples of the developed nations in the West.

Arson Arrests Being Made Across the West Coast – Multiple Fires Identified as Arson – 27 People Killed, Dozens Missing….

In a rather disconcerting sequence of events many of the west coast forest fires are now being attributed to intentional arson.  One of the key aspects to the unnatural outbreak of fires is the proximity to homes and well established neighborhoods in California, Washington State and Oregon.

A twitter account by Katie Daviscourt has been tracking some of the fires and a recent series of events from the area(s) [SEE HERE].  The ongoing thread is updated with several points of evidence where people have been caught, captured or filmed in the act of lighting fires.  There is some speculation, and some evidence, that some of these fires may have been ignited by Antifa activists as a method of further creating crisis in the region.

The FBI is saying there is no evidence Antifa or Joe Biden’s far-left base of support are behind the fires. However, given the internal dynamic within the FBI; and accepting the FBI carries a political agenda; and considering the facts on the ground do not support the denials; the downplaying of motive by the FBI is not very reassuring.

A statement by federal law enforcement to Law Enforcement Today is troubling and points to several ongoing investigations into these fires:

LawEnforcementToday – […] A federal law enforcement source shared with Law Enforcement Today that the feds are looking into whether some of the cases are linked together… and warn there could be more “attacks”.

“We are reacting to a coordinated series of attempts to start fires anywhere and everywhere in Oregon. Public and Private lands, incorporated and unincorporated areas.

By all indications so far in the preliminary stages of these investigations there is a coordinated effort on the part of these individuals to start fires in areas that are the least protected and most vulnerable then slowing working their way into more populated areas and neighborhoods.

Please take this information as an advisory for you own account and welfare and please act in good faith with due diligence to plan accordingly for your own safety and the well being of your community.”  (read more)

Carolee Brown told CNN she has relocated twice this week because of evacuation orders. She’s been losing sleep, constantly monitoring her home’s security camera online to see if it’s still standing. As of Saturday morning, it was.

“It’s unreal. You can’t really fathom what is going on,” she told CNN in Marion County. “You take what you think (you should), and you just get out.”

While Oregon’s death toll was at least six on Saturday, the state is preparing for a “mass fatality incident” based on how many structures have been charred, Oregon Emergency Management Director Andrew Phelps said Friday.

Already, dozens are missing, the state’s governor said, mostly across Jackson, Lane and Marion counties in western Oregon. (read more)

I listened to your video today about how Socrates predicts civil unrest. It was very informative when you said that the majority of governments are failing and have deficits. In Scotland the first minister may call for a referendum for independence which the media says 56% of the population are in agreeance with. I don’t think so for some reason! Scotland’s economy is based on our oil production and to be honest our economy is declining. It all makes sense that the government is imposing lockdowns left right and centre to hide the fact that our economy is on its knees. When the furlough ends is when the panic really begins. There are a lot of people living in a bubble and think governments are there to protect the citizens.

REPLY: I have been in discussions and trust me, they are aware that lifting the restrictions means they have a very serious problem. There are proposals that all past rents must be forgiven. If people have to pay back rents, this will simply be an untenable position. But that means landlords lose revenue and when mortgaged, that means they too can’t pay. This is one giant mess that can burden the economy and create a decline into 2022.

Then we have the majority are just sheep. They wear their masks and surrender all rights today and those of their children into the future. They are incapable of waking up and think the government really cares. They will be the ones with a devastating blow that will come all at once.

When the leftist media tell us that the “protests” we’re seeing in dozens of Democrat-run cities throughout our country are “peaceful,” do these media lackeys really think we’re that stupid…or blind?

Every day and night for all these months, we’ve seen these bought-and-paid-for leftist media whores try to convince us that up is down, black is white, bad is good. Just a small sample of these electronic and print media fakes include:

You can look at billions of leftist-generated e-mails, millions of Tweets, and multi-thousands of Letters to the editors of newspapers across the country––both in print and online––and find not one message of objection, disgust or fear about this escalating domestic-terrorism crime wave.

The only conclusion any sentient person can draw is that these Biden supporters approve of this violent criminal behavior, somehow believing that if enough chaos takes place, Americans will vote for the guy who promises to end it, ole basement Joe himself.

BUT WHAT ABOUT THE CHILDREN?

We all know that liberals love children. How much they lament the cages that illegal immigrant children were put in after they were constructed by the Obama-Biden regime.

How much they bemoan the multimillions of lives lost because of their belief––and legislation––in the extreme importance of routine abortion, mid-term abortion, late-term abortion, and post-birth abortions in which the lives of vibrant, living, fully-developed babies are, ahem, terminated.

How much they regret the disproportionate lives of aborted black babies in the Planned Parenthood centers they’ve purposely and disproportionately placed in black neighborhoods.

And so it follows that these leftists––in their demonstrated respect for life––would teach their own children and grandchildren that if they don’t like someone’s opinion or style or philosophy, it’s perfectly acceptable to:

  • Light that person’s car on fire,
  • Punch that woman in the face and knock out her teeth and then throw her to the ground,
  • Smash the windows of this guy’s homegrown business and steal all his goods,
  • Blind that offender with a laser beam, or…
  • Shoot him or her dead.

Indeed, this is what leftists are teaching their children and grandchildren by their unmistakable approval, indeed embrace, of the violence by BLM and Antifa over the past several months––a crime for which all of them should be indicted!

WE DON’T WANT NO SOLUTIONS!

President Trump has offered immediate help to all the mayors of the Democrat-run cities in which this violence is taking place, but following orders from the moneybags who are funding this mayhem, they refuse his offers, leaving the citizens they’ve taken an oath to protect in abject fear.

What a preview of our country if a Democrat is even voted for dogcatcher, much less president!

Best, all of this is not just avoidable, but a wholly contrived revolution, victims be damned. Everyone plays their role daily while American Woke leaders guffaw at the illiterate masses.

Elements of Woke leftism include being both smarter and better educated, justifying continual dismissive condescension. Existing in a sacred, secret society, serving humanity, so they’re Gnostics, saved by knowledge, not faith. Wokes save the world, justifying secrecy, equivocation and lies. Pragmatics means the ends justify the means. Marx wrote a revolutionary Bible whose truths are inevitable. Man has no soul but can be trained. Family is irrelevant compared to politics. CONCLUSION: Central Question – Why Violence?

Having no clue that free enterprise is the driving force behind profitable commerce, business graduates now view the word “profit” as evil. The contradiction in literal terms is turning corporate America upside-down, making business pawns of society rather than leaders.

The scam of the century is on display, recorded by armies of camera-wielding “protesters.” Buckling to the roiling crowds burning and pillaging all within their grasp, corporations are willingly and foolishly paying protection money for a service that doesn’t exist. The mobs, copying the modus operandi of 20th Century mafiosos, are giddily extorting billions of dollars from corporate dupes who think they can buy appeasement of uncontrollable looters whose only interest is acquiring ill-gotten goods.

It’s a racket taking politicians and commerce leaders for patsies. Cajoling, coddling and feeding tantrums encourages more bad behavior. Any parent with common sense could counsel corporate enablers with that tidbit of advice.

They believe that they can keep a handle on the volatile mobs and use them to achieve their own ends of seizing power from the people who elected them to office. But you can’t control an unruly rabble. They will turn on anyone who seeks to placate or direct their turbulent anger.

The mayors of Portland, St. Louis, Seattle and other cities suffering unending riots are seeing the result of letting the mob have its way. When the throngs came looking to surround and burn the houses of those who vocalized support for Antifa and BLM, the political hacks ran for their lives or finally called the police to protect them from the protection racketeers.

City councils that have voted to and begun dismantling their law enforcement organizations are reaping what they have sown – unending violence and destruction. But it hasn’t stopped there.

What rational corporation virtuously advertises how they’re spending big bucks with criminals destroying their businesses that took decades to build?

In Chicago, approximately three dozen gangs have made a pact to shoot any LEO that brandishes a firearm in the course of doing their duty. If any local alderman or elected city official has commented on the growing lawlessness of their metro area, it hasn’t been widely publicized. And if they are inclined to think there may be an upside to such an agreement among criminals, they’d best reconsider. Honor among thieves is a myth. The gangland pact will dissolve as soon as one perceives they’ve been disrespected by a member of a rival crew.

Senator Rand Paul, who was surrounded and threatened by a mob in Washington, D.C. after President Trump’s acceptance of the Republican Party nomination, has put into motion a query about who bankrolls the violent protests in most major American cities. Part of the investigation doesn’t have to go any further than the corporate chumps who have been funneling, not millions, but billions into so-called non-profits that support directly and indirectly the Marxist terror organization calling themselves Black Lives Matter. They are essentially funding their own demise by promoting a movement that despises law enforcement, which means the big box stores and online merchants won’t get assistance when the mobs descend on the commercial centers and warehouses.

What rational corporation virtuously advertises how they’re spending big bucks with criminals destroying their businesses that took decades to build? This is the result of 60 or more years educating students to disparage and even hate the free society that gave them the energy to power the omnipresent electronics with which these wealthy young thugs (like the NYC Upper East Side woman arrested for rioting) record all their criminal activity.

More than once, I and other writers have drawn attention to historical cases of rudderless mobs turning on their supporters and eventually on their own leaders – Robespierre, who was guillotined by his followers, and Trotsky for two examples.

This election cycle is wholly about choosing between polar opposites of individualist equal opportunity, wealth-generating free enterprise and anger-stoked elitist, entitled socialist privilege. Big business had better figure out that trying to straddle that fence is, not just counter-productive but, suicidal.

Are the Democrats using the 1932 Play-Book to Overthrow Trump?

The real question nobody seems to be asking, is the 2020 election 1932 all over again? Most people have no idea that there was major civil unrest under the pretense of the Bonus Army just as we now have under Black Lives Matter (BLM) where there were covert groups using the veterans to cover a Communist Revolution that was being waged during 1932 setting the stage for the shift and victory for Roosevelt. We are witnessing the exact same strategy being played out again which is deliberately being pulled off by the Democrats. Anyone who questions that statement should look at Reuters – one of the few news organizations still producing news. Joe Biden’s staff are donating to the groups providing bail for the rioters and looters!


In July 1932, there was the Bonus Army march on Washington demanding their bonus from World War I. However, like the Black Lives Matter (BLM), there were other groups which have infiltrated the BLM movement to turn it violent just as there were non-veterans who infiltrated the Bonus Army to create civil unrest to overthrow Hoover. This is also why Biden and the Democrats say nothing about the riots and the Democratically controlled big cities are crumbling as their Democratic leaders encourage the riots and looting. The California prosecutor claims if looters are poor, then somehow that is an excuse to justify looting! There are numerous Democratic mayors who see the chaos and are switching parties. Even police departments are openly stating they are switching to the Republicans because the “Democratic Party has lost its way!”

Based upon RELIABLE sources, there is a deep concern that the Democratic Party has fallen into the hands of the Global Elitists and the playbook was to create riots, as they did in 1932, but to force lockdowns to crash the economy to mimic the Great Depression. They actually believed that they could turn the country fully into a socialist state and impose this Great Reset while handing out minimal subsistence for living called Guaranteed Basic Income.

In 1932, Hoover offered paid passage to veterans to return home. About 6,000 took them up. About 5,000 remains and it turned out to be mostly communists using the veterans as cover to instigate what they hoped would be a revolution.  Here is a quote from his papers. The Communist leaders were arrested. Here we have exactly the same playbook in operation except the Coronavirus has been used to crush the economy which they hope will dethrone Trump.

In a rambling display of virtue signaling, Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll complained whites weren’t listening to blacks. The lecturing ‘Karen’ then blathered on about how white folks needed to learn ‘real history’ and that slavery has never gone away. Well, Pete…we do know that over 600,000 mostly white lives were extinguished during the Civil War that ended slavery, but apparently that bit of stark history wasn’t real enough for you.

The politicization of professional sports in America is just part of the communists’ game plan. The Bolshevik Democrats are using the racial divide during an election year to usher in their figurehead, Biden. If elected, the socialists will again be on offense. They will drive to further destroy our Republic and our freedom. Coach Carroll can’t see this because he’s been brainwashed by the leftist media and the systemic political correctness that has long been embedded in Seattle. It’s one of America’s bluest cities.

The ubiquitous Black Lives Matter movement is not about black lives as much as it is about socialism. Pete said white people have too much money. Apparently he wants everything made more equal. If so, perhaps he should convince some of his multi-millionaire players to share a bit of their salary with the fans who can no longer afford to attend a game.

The NFL has been ruined by the left. Go watch an old football game on Youtube (pre 1975) and you’ll notice far less commercials and old fashioned hard-hitting football. Player safety wasn’t the paramount concern it is today. The game wasn’t slowed down by endless reviews and replays. Both black and white players did little celebrating when they scored touchdowns. They either dropped the ball in the end zone or handed the ball to the referee. Now we see elaborate hip grinding and self-aggrandizing, vulgar displays that make a mockery of the team sport. Pete’s racial screed added to the mockery.

NFL was already dying. There was too much kneeling and contempt for the fan base. Too many rule changes to favor ’safety’ dulled down the game. They didn’t want their star millionaire attractions to get boo-boos. Instead of entertainment, the left saw sports as a means of ‘educating’ the public. Indoctrinate and accustom them to a socialist system. They have want to change our ’national’ football league into a global one.

Thanks to the gum chewing and social justice-spewing Pete Carroll, the NFL is now dead to me. I will join a legion of other former fans and tune it out altogether.

COMMENT: My son-in-law’s mother works in (an area of) urban Chicago as a Nurse, a small enclave (that at this time is considered safe)…she spoke to a Chicago Policeman – he told her to get out as soon as she can &to learn to use a gun and get one. He said the Nut jobs that are running the city ( Lori Lightfoot – Mayor ) are letting it descend into chaos.
