Jordan’s King Abdullah II Full Speech During Cairo Peace Summit

Jordan is a country of approximately 11 million people.  Within the Jordanian population there are approximately 2.2 million Palestinian refugees; roughly 20% of the population of Jordan are Palestinian.

Jordan’s King Abdullah II gave an impassioned speech during the past weekend’s Cairo Peace Summit, assembled to quickly address the attack from Hamas terrorists and the subsequent Israeli war counteroffensive. “It’s been two weeks since Israel put in place the complete siege of the Gaza Strip. And still, for the most part, global silence. Yet the message the Arab world is hearing is loud and clear: Palestinian lives matter less than Israeli ones. Our lives matter less than other lives.”

This is the speech mentioned by Col Douglas Macgregor in the previous discussion with Tucker Carlson.  Abdullah’s remarks are about 7 minutes long and very critical of Israel – WATCH:

The Game Continues – Hamas Releases Two More Elderly Hostages, Keeps Their Husbands

Posted originally on the CTH on October 23, 2023 | Sundance

If you drop the pretending, it becomes crystal clear to see the hostages are being used as leverage to stop a counteroffensive by the Israeli military.  The Obama/Biden administration alignment with Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, Hezbollah and the Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ), permeates the media narrative with calls to negotiate terms for peace and hostage release.

As we expected, Benjamin Netanyahu is being painted into a corner by the Biden administration who are using the U.S. military presence as a shield to force Israel to follow the approved program of the U.S. government.   Biden, et al, want to protect Hamas while simultaneously calling residents of Gaza “victims” to the interests of Hamas and the PIJ.

With 200+ hostages held by Hamas, and up to another 50 held by PIJ, the slow drip of successful hostage release negotiations becomes the justification to stopping the Israeli War counteroffensive.

The two hostages released, Yocheved Lifshitz, 85, and Nurit Cooper, 79, were taken out of Gaza at the Rafah crossing into Egypt, where they were put into ambulances.  However, their elderly husbands were kept behind.  The two women, along with their husbands, were snatched from their homes in the kibbutz of Nir Oz near the Gaza border during Hamas’ Oct. 7 rampage into southern Israeli communities.

WASHINGTON – […]  Israel is widely expected to launch a ground offensive in Gaza, vowing to destroy Hamas. Iranian-backed fighters around the region are warning of possible escalation if that happens, including targeting U.S. forces deployed in the Mideast.

The U.S. has told Iranian-backed Hezbollah in Lebanon and other groups not to join the fight. Israel and Hezbollah have traded fire almost daily across the Israel-Lebanon border, and Israeli warplanes have struck targets in the occupied West Bank, Syria and Lebanon in recent days.

National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said there had been an uptick in rocket and drone attacks by Iranian-backed militias on U.S. troops in Iraq and Syria, and the U.S. was “deeply concerned about the possibility for any significant escalation” in attacks in coming days.

He said U.S. officials were having “active conversations” with Israeli counterparts about the potential ramifications of escalated military action.

The U.S. advised Israeli officials that delaying a ground offensive would give Washington more time to work with regional mediators on securing the release of more hostages, according to a U.S. official.

Israeli tanks and ground forces have been massed at the Gaza border, and Defense Minister Yoav Gallant told troops there Monday to keep preparing for an offensive “because it will come.” He said it will be a combined offensive from air, land and sea but did not give a timeframe. (read more)

Report: Biden Administration Seeking Delay of Israeli Ground War to Gain More Time for Hostage Talks

Posted originally on the CTH on October 22, 2023 | Sundance

Always remember, CNN = U.S. State Dept position.

CNN is reporting the Obama/Biden administration are seeking to delay the Israeli counteroffensive into Gaza in order to gain more time for hostage negotiations.  Israel denies feeling pressure, yet something is holding them back; make of that what you will.  However, the delay itself tracks accurately with the predictable intent of the ideologues behind the hidden agenda of the administration.

CNN – The Biden administration has pressed Israel to delay its imminent invasion of Gaza to allow for the release of more hostages held by Hamas and for aid to reach Gaza, according to two sources briefed on the discussions.

The release of two Americans held by Hamas Friday signaled that more of roughly 200 people believed to be kidnapped by the militant group may be freed after they were taken during the group’s deadly attacks launched against Israel two week ago.

“The [administration] pressed Israeli leadership to delay because of progress on the hostage front,” and the need to get trucks of aid into Gaza, one person familiar with the discussions said. The NSC did not immediately respond for comment.

Qatar, acting as a middle-man for the US and Israel, has been leading the discussions with Hamas about releasing the hostages since they were abducted by the militant group. According to a diplomat briefed on the talks, the negotiations have included talks about getting much-needed aid into Gaza and the need for a temporary ceasefire to get the prisoners out. Israel has not indicated they are considering a ceasefire. (read more)

As earlier reported, “US president Joe Biden, when asked by a reporter on Friday whether Israel should delay a potential ground invasion of Gaza until more hostages can get out, said “Yes.”  The administration later tried to walk back that statement.  Additionally, Bloomberg has also reported on the intent of the Biden administration to delay any ground war directly into Gaza until the hostages could be released {link}.

♦ Non-Pretending Predictability.  Hamas, Qatar, the Muslim Brotherhood and the Biden administration are all working together.  This is a geopolitical dynamic of merged interests aligned in common cause against the nation state of Israel.  The transparency of a slow-drip hostage release, and the Western media spotlight upon it is predictable.

Everything is being done to stall, impede, slow down and interfere in the Israeli War against Hamas.  Within this dynamic, the Brotherhood, Qatar, Hamas and the White House have the same objective.  Trust me; Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia can see it very clearly.

First, a reminder of the baseline.

Obama/Biden et al, want a two-state solution for Israel and the Palestinians.  I believe all efforts are underway to exploit the 10/7/23 terrorist attack to advance that agenda.  Netanyahu is being carefully painted into a position where the survival of Israel will be contingent upon accepting this two-state solution, which essentially means -in the long picture- the elimination of the Israeli state.

Biden will give the outward face of complete support toward Israel; however, the background work will be to protect Gaza, and thereby Hamas, and controllably expand -if needed- the regional conflict, such that a two-state solution becomes the only viable option for the survival of Israel.  Efforts by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood and by extension Iran, will appear to be confronted by Biden, but only insofar as the need for USA military support becomes more important and that dependency paints Netanyahu into a corner.

The nation of Qatar is the financial support system for the Muslim Brotherhood – the political umbrella of extremist (authentic) Islam.  The Brotherhood supports Hamas, al-Qaeda, al-Nusra, the Islamic State and all the terrorist affiliates therein.  The Brotherhood leadership live in Turkey, under the protection of Recep Erdogan – who wants to recreate the Ottoman Empire.  The Hamas leadership live in Qatar, under the protection of Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdul Aziz Al Thani.  Joe Biden supports the efforts of Erdogan and Thani.

Now, does the 2022 memo pictured left make more sense?

Each of the aforementioned actors, including Obama/Biden and all the U.S. operatives from the State Dept therein, view Israel as the provocateur in the dynamic.  The pro-Palestinian progressive movement within the Democrat Party is visibly part of this dynamic.  Thus, the alignment of common interests can be expanded to include, leftists, Democrats, Palestinians, Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Biden Administration and Qatar.   The common enemy, Israel.

Once you understand this dynamic, then you are able to see what happens in the background and how it aligns with the interests of the group.

Blunting any effort by the Israelis in the war against Hamas becomes a matter of taking steps that make it more difficult for the international community to support the Israeli side of the war against Hamas.  The release of the two American hostages is part of this PR effort.

If hostages can be released/saved, shouldn’t all ‘good faith’ diplomatic efforts to secure the release of the 250 be exhausted before supporting Israels retaliation?  See how that works?

That approach dilutes the righteous effort of Israel and starts to put a larger coalition against retaliation into place.  Obama/Biden began this dilution process by warning Israel not to be emotionally focused on vengeance during his remarks a few days ago.  The same was repeated during his national address.

Jordan’s King Abdullah, Egypt’s President Sisi and Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman have all been around the block with U.S. hidden agendas.  They can see this play just as clearly as I am outlining it to you now.  It is a dangerous game Obama/Biden, Qatar and the Muslim Brotherhood are playing.  Jordan, Egypt and Saudi Arabia want no part of it.

The First U.S. Military Engagement in an Expanded Israeli War Has Begun

Posted originally on the CTH on October 21, 2023 | Sundance

Today, the sketchy Pentagon statements about the USS Carney are starting to make sense.  The initial suspicions within the originating statements {GO DEEP} are well founded.  Today, the Pentagon is admitting the events in the Red Sea were “much more significant” than originally outlined.  Here’s the big picture, and we will go a little deeper.

The USS Carney is an Arleigh Burke-class destroyer assigned to USS Ford Carrier Strike Group 12.  As part of the October 8th deployment into the eastern Mediterranean, the USS Carney took up a defensive position for the strike group by going through the Suez Canal into the Red Sea. Fortunately, the Carney arrived in the Red Sea, on mission, Wednesday, just hours before four cruise missiles and 15 drones entered the established defensive perimeter airspace.

The Carney’s interceptions, the defensive activity against the missiles and drones, took place over 9 hours on Wed/Thursday.  All of the interceptions happened in commercial airspace, meaning the drones and missiles were targeted to fly at altitudes of commercial air travel. Obviously, the destination of the missiles and drones was/is unknown; however, the Pentagon said “potentially” targeted to hit Israel.

Now keep in mind, this report from CNN (think State Dept) is from a U.S. official that is NOT the Pentagon.  Meaning this report is political in nature and slanted to provide the State Dept/political Intelligence Community perspective.   Again, this is not a military report; this is a report from the U.S. political angle of government.

CNN — A US warship that intercepted drones and missiles near the coast of Yemen on Thursday encountered a larger and more sustained barrage than was previously known, shooting down 4 cruise missiles and 15 drones over a period of 9 hours, according to a US official familiar with the situation.

The USS Carney, an Arleigh-Burke class destroyer that traversed the Suez Canal heading south on Wednesday, intercepted the missiles and drones as they were heading north along the Red Sea. Their trajectory left little doubt that the projectiles were headed for Israel, the official said, a clearer assessment than the Pentagon’s initial take.

A sustained barrage of drones and missiles targeting Israel from far outside the Gaza conflict is one of a series of worrying signs that the war risks escalating beyond the borders of the coastal enclave.

[…] On Thursday, Pentagon press secretary Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder said the missiles were fired by Iranian-backed Houthi forces in Yemen and were launched “potentially towards targets in Israel.” At the briefing, Ryder said three land-attack cruise missiles and “several” drones.

Some of the projectiles were traveling at altitudes that made them a potential risk to commercial aviation when they were intercepted, the US official said. The drones and missiles were intercepted with SM-2 surface-to-air missiles launched from the USS Carney.

US interceptions of Houthi launches are exceedingly rare, making the timing of this incident, as tensions rise in Israel, more significant. In October 2016, the USS Mason deployed countermeasures to stop an attempted attack in the Red Sea targeting the Navy destroyer and other ships nearby. In response, the US fired sea-launched cruise missiles at Houthi radar facilities in Yemen. (read more

We have already addressed the originating problems with the Pentagon report.  Just the 1,300-mile flight distance alone is problematic when attaching this origination to the Houthis.  Since when did this Yemen rebel group gain missiles and drones that could target at such distances?  Something doesn’t add up.

In reality, the original Pentagon statement does make sense.  They don’t know where they came from, and they don’t know where they were going.  However, they entered a defensive perimeter established by USS Ford, via the battleship Carney, as part of their strike group mission and formation.

With the carrier strike group in place, the proximity and overall direction of the unknown missiles and drones was a threat.  So, we shot them down.  That is the standard mission priority.

The political message to CNN, not from the Pentagon, is to firm up the most likely originating location as Yemen and establish the most likely destination as Israel.

However, there are multiple alternatives, one of which is alarming and would also explain the intense sensitivity of the Pentagon in using the word “potentially”; the truth is, they really don’t know.   Factually, USS Carney arrived literally hours before this took place, a very fortuitous arrival on mission all things considered.

We can well imagine if the Carney was still navigating the Suez Canal at the time the missiles and drones flew overhead.  We, or whoever was the target of 4 cruise missiles and 15 drones, lucked out.

Which brings us to the part of “potential” destinations.  Considering the motives and intents of the hostile and opposition elements globally and regionally, there’s just as solid an argument to make that the USS Carney did exactly what it was supposed to do, defend the USS Ford strike group.  Meaning, the target could have been the U.S. fleet and the USS Ford itself.

Then we look at “potential” origination.  Again, the Houthi’s may have received a very recent Iranian missile capable of delivering a payload over this distance.  They did not have them before, but they could be newly acquired; so, the origination could be Yemen.  However, it is worth remembering that China is the #1 investor in Yemen, and has a geopolitical relationship in Yemen driven in part by a very nearby Chinese navy military base in Djibouti.

In 2017, China established its first overseas naval base in the small East African country of Djibouti. The base, where perhaps 2,000 Chinese troops are stationed only a few miles from the U.S. Navy’s own Djiboutian base, Camp Lemonnier, set off alarm bells in Washington about Africa’s role in China’s growing military profile. (link)

China has been selling weapons to Yemen as part of the geopolitical alignment between Iran, Russia and China.  China also supports the current status of peace between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, and has been working diligently to keep all of their interests aligned.

Were the advanced missiles part of the relationship between China and Yemen?… Or were they Iranian?  The former seems increasingly likely, the latter not quite as much.

So, with the Pentagon admitting they are not certain, and with the State Dept motive to downplay the significance, let’s put the process together.

China would have a solid motive for supporting Yemen in the actual targeting of the USS Ford.  What faster way to bring the U.S into yet another engagement than by targeting a U.S. aircraft carrier strike group.   For Yemen and the Muslim Brotherhood, this would be medal of honor level success, exceeding any joyful targeting of Israel.

The U.S., in this scenario the great satan, is pulled into yet another protracted Middle East quagmire along with prior commitments to Ukraine.   Now, with both a European and Middle East conflict, the beneficiaries would be Iran, Russia, China, the Muslim Brotherhood, Turkey, Syria and the list goes on from there.  This diverts all U.S. resources away from the Pacific Theater and leaves Taiwan as easy pickings.  Smiling panda.

Guess who else would benefit.

Iran Threatens US – America’s Enemies Grow Bolder

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Oct 19, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

America’s adversaries no longer live in fear. They see how divided the nation has become under one of the most disastrous administrations in US history. Only a few short years ago this would not have happened. When the Taliban was threatening the US, then President Trump sent the leader of the Taliban a picture of his house.

“Didn’t you at one point tell him, ‘I know exactly where you are,’ and give him the exact coordinates where he was?” Sean Hannity asked Trump. Trump replied, “No, I sent him a picture of his house. He said, ‘But why but why do you send me a picture of my house?’ I said, ‘You have to figure that one out.’ “I said, ‘If you do anything – from that point on we didn’t lose one soldier – we’re going to hit you harder than any country has ever been hit.’ He said, ‘I understand, your Excellency.’“

What happened when ISIS leader Abu Bakr Al-Baghdadi was captured? Trump went on national TV to announce that the US would make good on their threats. He explained to the world how the leader of ISIS “died like a dog” who spent his last moments in fear, running from American forces like a “coward” and hiding behind women and children. In another instance, Trump posted a simple picture of the American flag to social media moments before an airstrike in Iraq that killed one of Iran’s top generals. Trump promised to obliterate all of America’s enemies and America was feared.

Our enemies feel they have the upper hand now. Iran publicly threatened America a day before Joe Biden was set to arrive in Israel. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei’s adviser, Mohammad-Javad Larijani of the Axis of Resistance, issued a warning to America that aiding Israel “would be a strategic mistake” and would make it a “legitimate target for the resistance fighters in the entire region” He ominously uttered that “the war will not be limited to Gaza” and said “in the near future, America’s presence in Syria and Iraq will be very costly for them.”

America’s enemies are growing bolder under Biden’s weak leadership. A nation divided cannot stand strong.

Israel v Palestine – Military Power

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Oct 17, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Let me begin by stating that Palestine does not have a military. The terrorist group Hamas contains between 30,000 and 40,000 fighters, but only a few hundred are believed to have received proper training. Hamas does not have an air force or any naval power. In contrast, Israel has one of the most advanced defense forces in the world.

International Institute for Strategic Studies’ (IISS) Military Balance 2023 states that Israel has 169,500 active duty military members, with another 465,000 in the reserve forces. Every adult in the nation has received proper basic military training. Israel has over 2,000 main battle tanks and 615 heavy infantry fighting vehicles, while Hamas currently has 0. Their impressive air force has 196 F-16 fighter planes, 83 F-15, 36 F-35, 140 military helicopters, and 43 Apache attack helicopters. They also have five submarines and 49 battleships. Then there is the once-thought-to-be impenetrable Iron Dome and, most importantly, nuclear weapons.

Israel has a defense budget of around $23.6 billion. America and other nations have been funding Israel’s military, with America alone providing $118 billion since 1949. The Biden Administration has pledged an additional $2 billion in supplementary funding, and other Western nations will follow.

The US Navy has been deployed to the Mediterranean Sea. Are we sending extremely advanced technology to defeat a few hundred barely trained ground soldiers? The US sent two carriers to an enemy that has no carriers or aircrafts aside from some paragliders who have managed to bypass the Iron Dome. Again, Palestine does not have a military – at all. Hamas uses the people of Palestine as human shields and that is its main defense system.

We are preparing for World War III. The players are entering the arena for something much larger than Israel v Palestine. The Neocons across the globe are moving in full force to promote this war. This is precisely what our cycle had predicted for 2023, with a spike in violence in the Middle East. Those who read “The Next Jihad” know that the worst is sadly yet to come.

War is Coming

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Oct 17, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT: Thank you for your analysis of the Israel incident. We have to wonder what took place. Nothing makes sense.

REPLY:  Israel did not respond to the attack for many hours. This is not realistically possible. This appears to be a setup to expand the war against Russia, assuming they will support Iran, Syria, and Hamas. There is no way that 1,000 people could breach the Gaza defense in 15 places, and nobody knew. The technology there will be triggered if a cat touches the fence. They have killer drones that will shoot directly at anything that breaches the fence. Claiming Iran hacked that security is not plausible. None of the private communications in that area were impacted.

Some see that this has been a covert action that sacrificed Israelis to achieve the end goal of trying to force Russia to defend the Middle East, all to create war BEFORE the 2024 election. As I have been warning, our computer has projected World War III unfolding post-2024. This is all be orchestrated.

Secretary Blinken Tells Joe Biden He’s Going to Israel on Wednesday

Posted originally on the CTH on October 16, 2023 | Sundance

The agenda here is transparently obvious.

♦ First, there is no strategic benefit to Israel from a Joe Biden visit.  ♦ Second, notice how there was no advanced notice when Biden visited Kiev, Ukraine. Yet here, with a real backdrop of violence, a Biden visit to Israel is announced in advance.  ♦ Third, think about the extensive planning and security measures that are traditionally taken for these types of trips; the absence of which, underlines the urgency of motive.

Next, consider the devastating recent polls showing Biden collapsing in every state that matters.  President Trump is crushing Joe Biden, as the American people can feel and see the terrible consequences of Biden policy.  Then, overlay the recent CBS (60 minutes effort), to cast Joe Biden as a victim of circumstance.  Lastly, there is ideological benefit in buying more time for the Muslim Brotherhood (Hamas).   What motive do we discover in the factual alignment of data?

The people behind Joe Biden are sending him to Israel for (1) part of a rebranding effort; and (2) to impede Netanyahu and buy time for Hamas.

The people behind Biden (Obama network) are also pushing Biden into a meeting in Egypt.  **ahem**  Exactly as I outlined the agenda.  Biden is going to the international summit to determine the future of the Palestinian people terrorists and put pressure on Egypt.

Joe Biden finds out he’s going to a real war zone, not Ukraine.

WASHINGTON — President Joe Biden will travel to Israel this week, putting himself in harm’s way to show that he stands squarely with the country as it reels from Hamas’ surprise attack and prepares a ground invasion meant to wipe out the militant group on its border.

Secretary of State Antony Blinken announced the trip — the president’s second foray into an active war zone this year, having traveled to Ukraine in February under the tightest secrecy.

Biden is expected to meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other Israeli leaders during the trip, which may also include a visit to neighboring Egypt. U.S. officials have been discussing with Egypt ways to get humanitarian aid to Palestinian civilians in Gaza caught up in Israel’s siege of the densely populated territory. (read more)

♦ PS. It was 3:15am in Israel when this Blinken announcement was made.

See things as they are, not as the media pretends them to be.
