U.S. military becoming a separate warrior class, distinct from civilians
I am a form Army Captain and I agree that this is a major problem. Getting rid of the draft was a huge mistake and it has lead to the creation of a “professional” army that is there to “practice their art” as I have been told.
It is unhealthy for a country to have its military be very different from the civilian population, especially in political beliefs and values. But that is increasingly the case in the U.S.

STAGE 1: Identify the issue.
Any Progressive can make an issue out of anything. That’s the Power of the People! Just name it and blame Republicans. Many issues never go beyond Stage 1 because they are so readily and widely embraced by the masses. Examples include free cell phones, free gas, and free Obama money from his stash. Whatever the issue, throw it at the wall and don’t worry if it doesn’t stick—there are at least six more ways to make sure it does!
STAGE 2: Promote the issue.
Exhort media minions to give saturation coverage to the latest issue, to build consensus, create buzz and subsequently demand. People who never thought this was something they should have, and have happily lived without it for years, will start thinking this is something they should have and absolutely cannot live without—especially if they’re persuaded that not having it is why they’ve never been as happy as they previously and mistakenly believed. Blame Republicans. If it still shows signs of sliding down the wall, then proceed to the next stage.
STAGE 3: Say it’s a MORAL issue.
Remember back in the 80’s, when evangelical Christofascism was infecting the country at fever pitch, and Progressives tried to combat it by saying you can’t legislate morality? When that didn’t work, we simply expropriated the word and changed the definition like we do with everything else. Now, morality refers to support of the Progressive agenda, and you’d better believe we’re going to legislate it to the hilt! Whatever it is Progressives want to do, it is the MORAL thing to do. Ergo, to oppose it is simply…immoral.
And who among us wants to be immoral? Don’t we all want to do the right thing? The correct thing? All we want to do is help people so they can live better lives—what’s wrong with that? It’s moral, isn’t it? Somewhere down the line, there are supposed to be grand and glorious rewards for being moral, for without them, who would bother?
To say it’s a moral issue is like giving the masses a mild laxative—sometimes all people need is just a gentle little push, something to soften them and ease the passage. At this point, we usually get government funding, and maybe a czar to oversee it. The media continues to do its part to promote it, while celebrities begin sporting the appropriately colored awareness ribbons.
Yet there will still be those who are either too confused or ignorant to see the light. That, or they’re simply…immoral. Or amoral. Either way, they’re so not moral that they’re perfectly happy to see that issue slide down the wall till it plops on the ground. Blame Republicans. But that’s when we must implement the next stage.
STAGE 4: Declare the issue a CRISIS!
Sometimes Progressives will skip over the first three stages to Stage 4, in which case, this is where it really starts. You don’t get anything through Congress or the courts simply by saying it’s “nice to have.” No. It is a CRISIS! Lives are in danger! Planet is in peril! Time is running out! We must start taking steps to begin taking action NOW!
A crisis receives even more funding, and the establishment of a government agency to impose regulations that will eventually bring it under control—but only as long as funding continues and keeps pace with inflation.
The media will continue beating their drums. In addition to the awareness ribbons, celebrities make speeches about it at awards shows, and start incorporating it into the plot lines of their movies and “Very Special Episodes” of TV shows, etc. The masses must be made aware of the CRISIS!
But there will still be scoffers. Skeptics. Deniers. Those who say there is no crisis. Those who say that no matter what the crisis, it’s always been here and hasn’t hurt anyone or anything. Those who say it’s just another wealth redistribution scheme. Those, especially at the corporate level in the private sector, who spend millions, billions, and gazillions to convince the masses that there is no crisis, all to protect the ill-gotten profits they stole from those same masses! Why, they’ll say that it isn’t even an issue, let alone a crisis! Blame Republicans. People dependent on being told what to think will be tricked into believing these lies instead of the current truth.
That’s what we Progressives call “a messaging problem.” Therefore, we must double down and move to the next stage.
STAGE 5: Call it a HEALTH issue!
All we want to do is help people. All we want to do is help them make better decisions, the right choices, so they can live healthy, happy, productive lives without fear of death, disease, or destruction. How can anyone with an ounce of compassion be against that?
But sometimes it’s not enough to say lives are in danger, or the planet is in peril. Sometimes we have to be more specific, because some people, dagnabbit, just aren’t satisfied with vague generalities. This is why “individualism” is such a bad idea—it encourages people to dwell on the nitpicky details of how an issue, even when it’s been elevated to the level of crisis, will personally affect them and their selfish little private world.
So let’s make it personal! Bring on the testimonies! Call on those who will share their heartbreaking stories of how their health, and by extension their lives, have been ruined because of the crisis! Blame Republicans. Poverty, income inequality, climate change…all of these things have an adverse impact on a person’s health and well being.
Show pictures of suffering children. Crumbling glaciers. Rising floodwaters. Drowning polar bears. Smokestacks belching out billows of black smoke. Oil-soaked baby animals with huge, sad brown eyes. Tearful Native Americans standing at the side of the road with heaps of garbage at their feet. Don’t just tug on those heartstrings—yank ’em taut and play ’em like a Strad!
Then show the masses what it all leads to: Starvation! Disease! Non-breathable air! Undrinkable water! Carcasses! Stink! Gross! Death! Destruction! Doom!
Only one thing will solve these problems and reverse the inevitable before it’s too late—more government funding! Yet there will still be those who don’t care. Who just want others to die quickly. Who don’t want to spend the mere few pennies a day per person it would cost to eliminate these horrors forever and ever and ever.
That’s when we roll out the next stage.
STAGE 6: Enshrine it as a CIVIL RIGHTS issue!
Nothing shuts down dissent like calling it a civil rights issue, because anyone who opposes anything to do with civil rights can be labeled a bigot, a hater, or any kind of phobe. Civil rights always trump all other rights, and this allows us to shame the haters and bigots and make them feel like the outcasts they are, on the extreme fringe, the wrong side of history!
Once an issue is consecrated as a matter of civil rights, the masses will hold marches and rallies across the country to demand it. There may be riots and vandalism, and many innocents will be hurt or jailed, or even killed. Blame Republicans.
The issue will finally go before the people for a vote—and if it doesn’t pass, no problem! The courts will overturn it because it is a civil right! And the people will keep marching and rallying and blaming Republicans until that happens!
Nothing is more sacred than a civil right…except, perhaps, the government that keeps it sanctified through continued funding and special protections and privileges for anyone the civil right touches.
In the meantime, there will still be bigots and haters who are just too shameless to be shamed. Haters gotta hate. There will still be those who insist that religious rights and so-called inalienable rights endowed by some mythical being should matter. And there will still be enough of them to block the march of progress, and with it the necessary funding, without which all will be lost if we don’t make the decision to do something to take the needed steps to start action now, before it’s too late!
Which brings us to the next stage…
STAGE 7: Dammit! Can’t you people see the crisis is not just a moral issue or a health issue or a question of civil rights? It’s a matter of NATIONAL SECURITY!
To not treat it as a matter of National Security is, as President Obama recently told graduates of the Coast Guard Academy, a “dereliction of duty.” Members of the military can be court-martialed for it. Under conditions of war, they may be executed for it.
When something is declared a matter of National Security, anyone who does not treat it as such is willfully endangering millions of lives and the future of the entire planet. They are seditious. They are enemies of the State. They are guilty of treason and crimes against humanity. Therefore, they must forfeit all. We kept warning them millions would die, didn’t we?
Throw them against the wall. Don’t worry if they don’t stick. This time, we want them to drop to the ground.
And don’t forget to blame Republicans.
All Muslims Share the Same Islam
The Establishment is always telling us that there are good, moderate Muslims and extremist, jihadist Muslims and that the two different kinds have nothing in common with each other.
Wrong. What all Muslims have in common is the same Koran, the same prayers, the same Sunna of Mohammed and being a member of one umma (Islamic community).
Indeed, the Koran tells us that the jihadist is a better Muslim than the moderate Muslim. The phrase, Allahu akbar, is not only used a war cry, but every Muslim uses it in his daily prayers.
We are told that all Muslims want prosperity and democracy, but all Muslims do not want a democracy, because a democracy means that a Kafir is equal to a believer.
All of the Muslims share the Sunna of assassination. So instead saying they do not want violence of Garland, TX, they need to say that they reject the evil of the assassination Sunna of Mohammed. That would have real meaning.

The Oscar-winning actress Natalie Portman said that she would not use her platform of fame or share her strong leftist opinions inappropriately; therefore, she granted an interview to Steven Galloway, The Hollywood Reporter. Thus begins a peek into a leftist’s psychology. (No sunspecs required.)
Portman identified herself as being “quite leftist,” meaning that she is yet another person of Jewish heritage who has withdrawn from her birthright, and follows a distinct set of assumptions held by others – also described as “groupthink.” When asked if she feels uncomfortable about her Jewishness while in France, she offered a brief “Yes,” before deflecting to comment about “the danger of being a Muslim in many places.” The identity of whom the Muslims fear was conveniently not broached – it is their own rage and violence, products of their perception of Muslim supremacism.
France is considered the most dangerous country for Jews today and the Muslims the “main instigators of global anti-Semitism.” France’s Jews, 0.75 percent of the population, live in constant peril. Anti-Semitism has increased by 400 percent since the summer of 2014; 40 percent of violent crimes are committed by Muslims against Jews. Although French officials have deployed about 20,000 soldiers to guard the Jewish businesses and schools, crimes persist, such as:
- the boy who, returning home for Sabbath dinner, was accosted and pummeled by four men with iron pipes – his eye socket damaged, shoes stolen, cell phone intentionally trampled so he could not call for help.
- the 17 year-old girl who was pepper-sprayed and told, “Dirty Jewess, inshallah (Allah willing) you will die”;
- the Jewish mother who, while seated on a park bench, was attacked and beaten by three men;
- the young couple who was robbed in their apartment, the woman raped, her boyfriend restrained;
- the firebombs thrown at a Jewish community center in Toulouse, another at a synagogue;
- the three solders standing guard outside Nice’s Jewish center who were attacked and injured by a man wielding a knife;
- the anti-Semitic riots in Sarcelles (Paris suburb, “Little Jerusalem”), with slogans of death and slaughter.
These and others were carried out against Jews by Muslims, but Portman’s leftism precludes her identifying the criminals and their behavior.
As noted in The Religion of Peace online, close to 26,000 terrorist attacks were committed in the name of Islam since 9/11, and a recent article by Giulio Meotti cites 100,000 Christians per year. All other religions combined do not equal the terror wrought by Islam and no other religion requires the suffix “phobia” to bully others into silence lest they be accused of harboring “irrational fear” when the fear is perfectly rational.
No other religion demands respect while committing the most abhorrent crimes – and this is because Islam is a political, militaristic ideology couched in religion. Their mandate is to conquer and govern all others: immigrate (to a non-Muslim country), populate (increase and demand accommodation), and eliminate (city becomes Muslim), according to the Muslim Brotherhood’s 100-year plan of 1982. About 62 percent of the Quran curses unbelievers or calls for violence, yet, when once sharia is established as law, their own are also controlled harshly. In fact, Iran has been systematically purging (genocide) its own Arab population.
Surely, Portman should have noticed the preponderance of armed French soldiers on Paris streets, where once there were accordionists, flower sellers and romance. France’s oldest and second-largest city, Marseille, founded in 600 BC by Greek sailors, was once considered the European Capital of Culture, but is now ranked as Europe’s most dangerous city, having a 30 to 40 percent Muslim population. Portman and the Left will deny the cause of the violence and the climate of fear that turned the once-charming, coastal city into a no-go zone, where French law is irrelevant. In fact, the Left denies the existence of no-go zones.
Since the Left adheres to a mantra of multiculturalism and equality of people and religions, Portman calls “endangered Muslims” those who amass weapons, invade, and destroy. While one faction continues to attack Israelis and Jews at every opportunity, another faction is slaughtering Christians, beheading, burning, kidnapping, raping, and selling women and children into slavery. Islam is the only group that continues the slave trade. While Hitler and Nazism were responsible for about 60 million deaths, and Stalin and Communism about 80 million, Islam’s legacy over 1400 years approaches 400 million. The Left and mainstream media remain silent, and Portman proves that she is indeed on the Left by denying Islam’s gory history.
The Quran contains at least 109 verses that call all Muslims to war with nonbelievers for the sake of Islamic rule, some quite graphic. Aloof from historical context, they proudly regard themselves as part of the eternal and unchanging word of Allah.
Portman has generously, but presumptuously, forgiven Dior fashion designer John Galliano for his several public anti-Semitic rants, yet denounces Prime Minister Netanyahu as racist for noting the growing Arab vote – that could credibly destroy the Jewish people’s only homeland. Blindly loyal to her destructive liberal doctrine, she prefers Palestinians have a home that was never theirs at the peril of Jews in the home that had been theirs for centuries. The Left prefers that Israel again cede land to those who already have a land mass one thousand times Israel’s size, and may be mobilized to slaughter Jews at the mere sound of a bugle. The Left is silent when Israelis are attacked from air, earth, and beneath the earth, but speak out for the rights of those who have Natalie Portman in their sight.
The pretty and talented Natalie Portman knows little about her own heritage and displays a shocking amount of ignorance of the facts, and her arrogance for defending the leftist fiction is indefensible. The irony is that her personal life is unacceptable to those she defends. Under Palestinian rule, Sharia, she would be stoned or beheaded for being of Jewish descent, a woman, outspoken, supporting same-sex marriage, believing in educating females, wearing “immodest” clothing, and having a child out of wedlock. She and her family are at risk now in France, in Israel, and in the United States, and the source is Islam. Sadly, our Leftist academia are no longer teaching their students to think and reason, and Natalie Portman is of that generation. If we add together the Islamists in our midst, the remorseless willfully blind, and the ignorant by indoctrination, I fear for what’s left.

Warrior leaders of General Patton’s or General LeMay’s stature are no longer wanted. The fundamental job of the military, “kill bad people and break their things,” has become seriously hampered critically now by “rules of engagement” who’s guiding logic is political, not successful, combat. If the US military is ever defeated, it will be because it is running the best Day Care centers in the world. We used to go to the Officers Club or NCO Club Stag Bar on Friday evenings to have a drink, smoke, and swap lies with our comrades.
Having a drink with friends is now frowned on. Smoking causes cancer and could “harm you.” Bars are seen as ‘sexist.’ Our personnel have quit patronizing their clubs because what happens in the club is now fodder for a performance report. In fact, now we don’t have separate clubs for the ranks. Instead we have something called “All Ranks Clubs” or “Community Clubs.” They’re open to men and women of all ranks. But no one is there. I wonder why.
The latest brilliant thought out of Washington is that the operators (“pilots?”) flying remote pilot-less aircraft in combat areas from their plush desk at duty stations in Nevada or Arizona should draw the same combat pay as those real world pilots actually on board a plane in a hostile environment while being shot at. More politically correct logic? They say that remote vehicle operators are subject to the same stress levels as the combat pilot actually flying in combat. REALLY…you’re bull-shitting me!!!???
Where are the people like the dynamic leaders of the past, such as Robin Olds, Doolittle, Patton, Ike, Boyington, Nimitz, etc.? They are identified and forced out, that’s where they are
This administration doesn’t want those kinds of leaders anymore. Division commanders don’t run Divisions and Corps commanders don’t run Corps. They are managed by selected high ranking admins with other esoteric goals in mind. Can you imagine someone today looking for a LEADER to execute that Doolittle Raid and suggesting that it be given to a daredevil boozer — his only attributes: he had the respect of his men, an awesome ability to fly, and the organizational skills to put it all together . If someone told me there was a chance in hell of selecting that man today to run that mission today, I would tell them they were either a liar or dumber than hell.
We have lost the war on rugged individualism and that, unfortunately, is what fighting forces want to follow; not because they have to but because they respect leaders of that ilk. We’ve all run across that leader that made us proud to follow him because you wanted to be like him and make a difference.
We better wake the hell up! We’re asking our young men and women to go to really crappy places; some with unbearable climates, never have a drink, and adhere to ridiculous regs that require you to tuck your shirt into your PT uniform on the way to the porta-potty at night, in a blinding dust storm, because it’s a uniform.
These current people we’re sending to combat are some of the brightest I’ve met but they are looking for a little sanity, which they will only find on the outside if we don’t get a friggin’ clue. You can’t continue asking people to live for months or years at a time acting like nuns and priests. Hell, even they get to have a beer.
Who are we afraid of offending? The people that already hate us enough to strap C-4 to their own bodies and walk into a crowd of us? Think about it. I’m extremely proud of our young men and women who continue to serve. I’m also very in tune with what they are considering for the future and I’ve got news for whoever sits in the White House, Congress, and our so-called top military leaders. Much talent has and will continue to hemorrhage from our services, because wanna-be warriors are tired of fighting on two fronts – – one with our enemies, another against the lack of sensible direction from this administration. Take it or leave it, that’s just the way it is, no ifs and’s or but’s.
Since Barack Obama has been in the White House, high ranking military officers have been removed from their positions at a rate that is absolutely unprecedented. Things have gotten so bad that a number of us retired generals are now publicly speaking out about the ‘purge’ of the U.S. military that they believe is taking place.
Dozens of highly decorated military leaders have been dismissed from their positions over the past few years. So why is this happening? What is going on right now is absolutely crazy especially during a time of peace. There is a deliberate attempt to reshape the military and remove those who don’t adhere to the proper ‘viewpoints’. Officers that question or won’t cooperate are identified, and gotten out of the way.
Throughout World History, whatever comes next after a military purge is never good. If this continues, what is the U.S. MILITARY going to look like in a few years? Perhaps you are reading this and you think that ‘purge’ is too strong a word for what is taking place. Well, just consider the following quotes from some very highly decorated retired officers
Retired Army Major General Patrick Brady: “There is no doubt Obama is intent on emasculating the military and will fire anyone who disagrees with him.”
Retired Army Lt. General William G. Jerry Boykin: “Over the past three years, it is unprecedented for the number of four-star generals to be relieved of duty, and not relieved for cause.”
Retired Navy Captain Joseph John: “I believe there are more than 137 officers who have been forced out or given bad evaluation reports so they will never make Flag (officer), because of their failure to comply to certain views.”
A Pentagon official who asked to remain nameless because they were not authorized to speak on the matter said “even young officers, down through the ranks have been told not to talk about Obama or the politics of the White House. They are purging everyone and if you want to keep your job just keep your mouth shut”. Now this trend appears to be accelerating.
The White House is intentionally weakening and gutting our military, and reducing us as a superpower, and anyone in the ranks who disagrees or speaks out is being purged. Coincidence? Every dictatorial regime on the planet has done this as soon as they gained power. I am doing my part by sending this email, I hope you will do the same.
And keep in mind that Obama is now on his fourth Secretary of Defense.
You can see this in the civilian workforce as well. Anyone that has the nerve to expose something happening that they know is wrong gets removed from that specific project and given only the most menial tasks with absolutely no authority to make anything happen, or to stop anything from happening. They will never get ahead.
For those who understand, no explanation is needed. For those who do not understand, no explanation is possible.

Who are the “LIERs”? The LIERs are a consortium of Libertarians, Internationalists, Egalitarians, and Relativists. These LIERs dominate the news and other opinion–making media.
A favorite pastime of the LIERs is Israel-bashing. Media bias against Israel assumes obscene proportions whenever Israel retaliates against Arab terrorists—be it Hamas in Gaza, Fatah in Jenin, or Hezbollah in Lebanon.
Some commentators attribute the media’s anti-Israel bias to Arab threats against journalists. Probably true in some cases, but Arab threats do not account for all the venom the LIERs spew against Israel.
Other commentators attribute the mediacracy’s bias to anti-Semitism. There’s some truth in this, but it’s superficially understood. I’ll come back to this later.
Still others ascribe the anti-Israel bias to the LIERs’ underdog mentality. Israel is portrayed as the Goliath in its conflict with those poor, little people, the “Palestinians,” who are compelled to use their own children as human bombs in this uneven conflict.
But is it right to sympathize with Arab terrorists that use women as human shields? I ask these questions because it’s absurd to apply the Geneva Convention to Arab terrorists. When you think seriously about these terrorists, when you behold their cruelty, their inhumanity, their contempt for human life, it’s not only absurd to endow these monsters with the rights of the Geneva Convention; it makes that Convention a mockery of human dignity. But for the Vatican to join the LIERs and align the Church with the Palestinian Authority’s quest for statehood when the PA virtually drove Christians out of Bethlehem is more than hypocrisy. It’s using the PA to gain control of Jerusalem!
This may explain why the “Religion of Love” denounced the IDF’s counterattack against Hezbollah operating from Lebanon. Prime Minister Bibi Netanyahu has repeatedly said that Israel has a right to defend itself. Whoever questioned this right? Isn’t national self-preservation an axiomatic duty of government? But having descended to psycho-babble about Israel’s right to defend itself, Bibi has repeatedly implored the PA to recognize Israel as a Jewish state! Where does this Jewish Don Quixote come from?
Probing deeper, where did this ridiculous need to invoke the axiomatic principle of national self-defense and consequent use of force against foreign aggression originate? Here’s the story.
Back in the 1920s, Julian Benda, a most insightful Frenchman, warned of the pacifist mentality that was emasculating France, a mentality that would lead to the Second World War. In The Treason of the Intellectuals, Benda anticipated what I call the LIERs—the Libertarians, Internationalists, Egalitarians, and Relativists of today’s opinion-makers. He noted that in the perverse minds of these LIERs justice becomes suspect when backed by force.
I am not suggesting that “might makes right.” But to denigrate right when it is invested with might is to ensure the victory of the wicked. This is the crime the LIERs of the media perpetrate by their slanderous attacks against Israel. Let’s probe deeper into these LIERs.
Given their Libertarianism, LIERs oppose all restraints on their freedom of expression. As a case in point, a member of their ilk in the U.S. Senate fantasized about getting the FCC to shut down Fox News!
When all is said and done, however, it’s hard to understand why LIERs, given the meaning of each letter of this acronym, side with illiberal and despotic Arabs and are so often hostile toward democratic Israel. Here we return to anti-Semitism.
Israel, perceived as a Jewish state, symbolizes nationalism. This offends the Internationalism of the LIERs. Moreover, the Bible refers to the Jews as the “Chosen People.” This offends the Egalitarianism of the LIERs. The LIERs also oppose any display of the Ten Commandments in the public domain. This offends the moral Relativism of the LIERs.
Israel therefore represents the absolute antithesis of what the LIERs represent. Now one can better understand why the LIERs demonize and want to delegitimize Israel, the Nation which, through blood and tears, carried the Truth from Sinai.
