The Trump Bull Market

Anyone who has seen my cartoons knows I support Trump and his re-election. Biden and Kamala would be a disaster for our country. However, I don’t always agree with the president and before we at GrrrGraphics begin producing a Republican Convention cartoon extravaganza, I thought I would temper it with a bit of criticism.

When Trump brags about the stock market going up and making new highs, I cringe. This is not a healthy stock market based on logic, earnings, or a healthy economy. The market has disconnected itself from capitalism and a true value discovery.

What’s really going is a Federal Reserve takeover of our economy. What we’re seeing is a monumental transfer of wealth from the have nots to the haves. It widens the gap between a few money lords and the vast majority of We, The Serfs. Before you say I sound like Bernie Sanders, this isn’t about class warfare, but it is about destroying what’s left of the middle class. It makes it easier for the illuminati and their point man, George Soros, to usher in their tyrannical socialism.

Leaving no good crisis unused, they’re leveraging the ‘plannedemic’ to help globalist corporations get fabulously wealthier and more powerful while the smaller businesses—the Mom and Pop middle class–are crushed. The Fed has poured in nearly $7 trillion into the stock market this year alone–and while it does help out those with 401ks as Trump says, it mostly helps those at the very top of the pyramid the most. Amazon’s Bezos has raked in countless billions of dollars has his company makes new highs. Apple has a two trillion dollar market cap. Tesla has the largest market cap of any auto company, even if their sales don’t justify it. Elon Musk is favored by the “Green New Deal” illuminati, so he gets propped up while competition gets stamped out.

The Federal Reserve, in a fascistic manner, gets to funnel money toward favored companies while revenue for small businesses is down 30 percent. The Fed creates money from thin air and keep ‘their’ stock market bull moving up, thus making the fabulously wealthy central bankers and the handful of powerful families at the top who own the Fed gets fabulously wealthier and more powerful. The top 1 percent already owns nearly 40 percent of the stock market. The rest of us get to pay for the bubble through inflation. Have you noticed how expensive food has become? Yet we don’t get to share in the money-glutted stock market. Has the Fed sent you a share of Amazon or Apple? Of course not. Yet we pay for their robbery through the massive creation of debt. It’s always the same—the powerful screw over the powerless. We’ve already passed the point of no return with the national debt (now nearing $27 trillion) and every few seconds another $100,000 is added to it.

https://www.usdebtclock.org

Many Americans can’t afford to participate in the stock market bubble. They’re too busy worrying about how to pay their rent while the rich are getting incredibly richer by ill-gotten means. This is something Trump should consider before he brags about new stock market highs.

U.S. Tightens The Noose By Initiating Snapback of UN Sanctions Against Iran

U.S. Tightens The Noose By Initiating Snapback of UN Sanctions Against Iran

The United Nations Security Council disgracefully rejected the U.S. initiative to extend the UN arms embargo against the Iranian regime beyond its current expiration this October. As the U.S. Ambassador to the UN Kelly Craft said at the time on August 14th, “the United States stands sickened – but not surprised – as the clear majority of Council members gave the green light to Iran to buy and sell all manner of conventional weapons. History will easily trace the path of leadership in this era, and unfortunately it will not go through the UN Security Council.”

Iranian Defense Minister General Amir Hatami made the Iranian regime’s malevolent intentions crystal clear. “We have made it known that we are ready to provide high-quality and appropriately-priced weapons and equipment to countries that need this,” he said on August 18th.

Iran: World’s leading sponsor of terrorism

Ambassador Craft promised that the United States would not give up trying to prevent the world’s leading sponsor of terrorism from gaining unfettered access to the global arms market.

UN Security Council Resolution 2231, which endorsed the disastrous nuclear deal with Iran known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), lifted various nuclear-related UN sanctions against Iran that had been imposed in previous Security Council resolutions. The Security Council took this major UN sanctions relief step upfront in contemplation of the Iranian regime’s continuing compliance with its commitments under the JCPOA. Resolution 2231 provided a mechanism for those previous resolutions, with their accompanying prohibitions imposed on Iran, to “snap back” in the event of Iran’s breach of the JCPOA.

Iran has committed multiple material breaches of its JCPOA commitments relating not only to arms transfers and missile tests, but also to its core nuclear-related commitments regarding nuclear enrichment levels and access for international inspections. As one of the original participants in the process leading up to the full implementation of the JCPOA in reliance on Iran’s commitments, the United States has every right to initiate snapback of the provisions of previous Security Council resolutions that had been in place prior to January 2016, regardless of whether the U.S. has the support of other countries that are parties to the JCPOA or otherwise.

On August 20th, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo personally delivered letters to both UN Secretary General Guterres and to the president of the Security Council initiating the snapback process, leading to the restoration of virtually all UN sanctions on Iran lifted under UN Security Council Resolution 2231. “America will not appease,” Secretary Pompeo told reporters at UN headquarters in New York. “America will lead.”

U.S. has not violated any legally binding obligations imposed by Resolution 2231

The snapback is supposed to take effect in 30 days from notification of an issue involving “significant non-performance of commitments under the JCPOA,” according to the process outlined in Resolution 2231, unless a Security Council member or the President of the Security Council introduces a draft resolution beforehand that is passed to extend the sanctions relief on Iran. Such a draft resolution would not pass, however, as long as President Trump remains in office. The United States would be able to veto such a draft resolution, allowing the snapback to proceed into effect automatically.

Opposition to the U.S. initiative from China and Russia is to be expected. It is disappointing to say the least, however, that the Western European permanent members of the Security Council, France and the United Kingdom, have also come out publicly against the U.S. on invoking the snapback process. Then again, Western European countries are not known for their moral courage when potentially lucrative commercial deals are at stake.

The critics of the U.S. snapback initiative claim that the U.S. has no authority to invoke it after withdrawing from the JCPOA. The critics are wrong. The JCPOA itself is a non-binding political document that was not even signed. Security Council Resolution 2231’s endorsement of the JCPOA does not convert a non-binding political document into a legally binding agreement. If the U.S. decided, as it did for national security reasons, to reimpose its own unilateral sanctions, the U.S. has not violated any legally binding obligations imposed by Resolution 2231. However, what Resolution 2231 did do is to legally condition the lifting of United Nations sanctions that the Security Council had previously imposed on Iran upon Iran’s meeting of its JCPOA commitments.

The United States is identified in Resolution 2231 as one of the “JCPOA Participants.” The U.S.’s “participant” status under Resolution 2231 derives solely from its original active participation in the negotiation, finalization and implementation of the JCPOA. Resolution 2231 sets no other qualifications or conditions on the original or continuing eligibility of such specifically identified JCPOA Participants to initiate a snapback.

Attempt by China, other UN Security Council members to change the explicit text of Resolution 2231 with hollow declarations is meritless

The U.S. could have vetoed Resolution 2231 because of the provisions lifting the previous UN sanctions but did not do so in reliance upon Iran’s commitments to abide by the terms of the JCPOA. Absent an amendment to the resolution to delete the United States as a JCPOA participant state after President Trump withdrew the U.S. from the nuclear deal in May 2018, which the Security Council never adopted, the U.S. maintains its original standing to initiate a snapback.

In short, the snapback provisions of Resolution 2231 are keyed to Iran’s JCPOA non-performance, not to the performance or non-performance of any other JCPOA Participant.

“[T]he United States” and any other “JCPOA participant State” may initiate snapback. Operative paragraph 11 of Resolution 2231 sets out the requirements for initiating snapback. Those requirements are that (i) a “JCPOA participant State” (ii) notify the UN Security Council (iii) of an issue it believes constitutes “significant non-performance” of commitments under the JCPOA. That has been done, and the snapback clock is ticking.

The attempt by China and other UN Security Council members to change the explicit text of Resolution 2231 with hollow declarations is meritless. China and Russia also attempted to enlist the current president of the Security Council in essentially ignoring the U.S. notification, as if somehow that would make the notification disappear or render it null and void. Indonesia’s UN Ambassador Dian Triansyah Djani, Security Council president for August, went along with the scheme. In his capacity as Security Council president, he said that he was “not in the position to take further action” on the U.S. snapback notification. Ambassador Djani said that there was no consensus in the Council supporting the U.S.’s move. Ambassador Djani should go back and read Resolution 2231 in detail. While a consensus may be desirable, no consensus is required for the snapback to take effect.

Simply ignoring the U.S. notification as if it did not happen will have no legal effect in stopping the snapback from taking effect

Dmitry Polyanskiy, Russia’s First Deputy Permanent Representative to the UN, tweeted what he viewed to be the result of the Security Council president’s decision to take no action: “It means, there is NO SNAPBACK.”

Wrong! The president of the Security Council does not have authority under Resolution 2231 to decide on whether the United States’ snapback notification is valid or not. He is authorized to introduce a draft resolution for a vote by the Security Council to keep the sanctions relief provisions of Resolution 2231 in place, which the United States can then veto. Simply ignoring the U.S. notification as if it did not happen will have no legal effect in stopping the snapback from taking effect.

When asked by reporters at the UN about sanctions enforcement, Secretary Pompeo would not get ahead of President Trump’s decision. “But you just need look no further than the history of the last two and a half years,” Pompeo said. “When the U.S. sanctions were violated, we enforced them. When UN sanctions are violated, we’re going to do everything we can to enforce them as well.”

Premier Liu He and USTR Lighthizer Discuss Renewed Phase-1 Deliverables…

United States Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer, U.S. Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and China’s Vice-Premier Liu He release a joint statement showing renewed emphasis on phase-1 purchases.

Washington, DC – Ambassador Lighthizer and Secretary Mnuchin participated in a regularly scheduled call this evening with China’s Vice Premier Liu He to discuss implementation of the historic Phase One Agreement between the United States and China. The parties addressed steps that China has taken to effectuate structural changes called for by the Agreement that will ensure greater protection for intellectual property rights, remove impediments to American companies in the areas of financial services and agriculture, and eliminate forced technology transfer.

The parties also discussed the significant increases in purchases of U.S. products by China as well as future actions needed to implement the agreement. Both sides see progress and are committed to taking the steps necessary to ensure the success of the agreement. (link)

This is interesting timing. In the foreground President Trump has openly stated he was/is not seeking further trade discussions with China. However, in the background if China does not meet the $75 billion phase-1 purchases, then a set of automatically triggering tariffs kick-in…. so it is in China’s interest to engage.

This trade leverage, combined with President Trump’s willingness to completely decouple from China…. combined with tariffs against China being favored by President Trump… explains the position of the administration.  Do nothing and tariffs kick back in.

According to Reuters analytics China has only purchased $7.3 billion in agricultural products through the first half of the year. The phase-1 agreement (tariff avoidance) requires $36.5 billion in purchases for 2020.

Additionally, in the energy sector: “China bought only 5% of the targeted $25.3 billion in energy products from the United States in the first half of 2020. Chinese state-owned oil firms have booked tankers to carry at least 20 million barrels of U.S. crude for August and September.” [Reuters Link] Again, if China doesn’t meet the agreement threshold the suspended tariffs return in full force.

It looks like Vice-Premier Liu He is attempting to head-off the re-institution of tariffs due to phase-1 purchases falling below the agreement; thus Beijing is trying to avoid the built-in tariff penalty aspect.

…If you plant your trees in another man’s orchard, don’t be surprised when you have to pay for your own apples…

Biden Supports the Green Agenda

Biden said: “When Donald Trump thinks about climate change, the only word he can muster is ‘hoax,’” Biden said during a speech unveiling the plan on Tuesday, “When I think about climate change, the word I think of is ‘jobs.’”

These people have no idea how much damage has been created within the global economy. You cannot buy many computer parts and items because they are manufactured in Asia where they are ignoring their Green Agenda. Even imported liquor has dropped 30%. Gates is proudly telling everyone this must continue until the end of 2021. This will unleash a world war. Perhaps that’s the objective.

Kellyanne Conway Announces Departure from White House…

Citing a need to renew focus on her children, White House advisor Kellyanne Conway has announced her departure from the administration:

STATEMENT: The past four years have allowed me blessings beyond compare as a part of history on Election Night 2016 and as Senior Counselor to the President. It’s been heady. It’s been humbling.

I am deeply grateful to the President for this honor, and to the First Lady, the Vice President and Mrs. Pence, my colleagues in the White House and the Administration, and the countless people who supported me and my work. As many convention speakers will demonstrate this week, President Trump’s leadership has had a measurable, positive impact on the peace and prosperity of the nation, and on millions of Americans who feel forgotten no more. Joe Biden Tearfully Salutes Mentor King Friday: “A Puppet Extraordinaire!”

The Fact Biden Can Only Read, But Not Think, is a Democrat Party Asset

Re-Posted from the Canada Free Press By  —— Bio and ArchivesAugust 23, 2020

After delivering a highly effective ultra-processed speech product to the Democrat Convention – apparently plagiarized – Joe Biden attended a lively after-event fest. Having already shoveled onto Americans many large, warm and greasy hunks of deep-fried baloney, Biden paused a moment to salute a man he considers his biggest single influence. Barack Obama, or his brawny consort Michelle? No. Instead, he saluted King Friday, Mister Rogers Neighborhood’s Sovereign.

King Friday, Immortal Puppet
Caught unawares, the euphoric post-convention crowd was stunned at Biden’s bursting into tears at his own announcement made into a Mister Microphone. The crowd’s boozy euphoria buoyed Biden while he laughed, drooled, and sang off-key “It’s a wonderful day in the neighbrohood…” Joe roared, “King Friday, Puppet of the People – He’s My Twin!”

Tom Hanks, Master Spirit
As if by magic, Tom Hanks turned a corner, hair full of confetti and COVID-19, proudly holding aloft Prince Tuesday as Joe Biden’s mouth popped open like an over-packed trunk. Hanks said, “Joe – He wouldn’t go to bed unless we said hi and congratulated you on this convention.” Joe’s eyes watered as King Friday arose and piped up in an odd, high voice, “Well, hello neighbor Joe!” Biden was so overwhelmed he instinctively shook a flask of Pappy van Winkle whiskey down his sleeve, kept for special occasions.

King Friday’s Ten Commands
After securing his lips to the whiskey flask, Joe’s eyes rolled back like a Lucky 8-Ball and he quickly lost consciousness. As he slipped into deep slumber, Joe snorted like a large warthog wriggling into a mud wallow, then was completely out. When Joe awoke, many days later, with a street sweeper ominously close, King Friday had departed, but left this exquisitely crafted note behind:

10 Golden Rules of Puppet Leadership

1. Never Go Off Script. The biggest rule of Puppet Kingship is to never think for yourself. This is exquisitely dangerous and not worth the risk.

2. Always Plagiarize.See above. If you can’t get your own thought leader to write a script, steal it from someone else.

3. When Confronted, Shout, “C’mon Man!!”When Joe is threatened, this triggers the “C’mon man!!” response. This is fight or flight reaction, happening deep in his autonomic defense system.

4. Sniff Hair While Kissing FemalesDoes Joe have a favorite shampoo?

5. Support Every Popular Liberal IdeaA politician can’t fail supporting the people’s opinion, even if changing weekly.  That’s being a man of the people! C’mon Man! Obama called it, ‘Leading from behind.’ It’s especially helpful if you can’t even remember what you believed yesterday.

6. Progressive King Has a Big TentEven King Friday understands that remaining popular means accepting every liberal innovation.

7. Insult the Unconverted: 15% of Americans are “Bad People.”Biden said, “There are probably anywhere from 10-15% of the people out there that are just not very good people.”

8. Constantly Lie, Embellish and ConfabulateA Puppet King only passes what his party demands, especially with mush brains, and lies like the Devil to get support.

9. Avoid Termites at all CostsGoes without saying a wooden leader must avoid fires and termites.

10. NEW – Obey Every Command of Kamala

And there you have Joe Biden’s only ever Ten Commandments.

Democrats Offer a Rancid Smorgasbord

That is why your vote in November is really between Communism and Freedom!

Democrats Offer a Rancid Smorgasbord

At the virtual Democrat National Convention last week––where the Democratic National Committee removed the word God from the Pledge of Allegiance––the public was treated to tasteless and remarkably unfunny jokes from Hollywood’s Julia Louis-Dreyfus, and a video featuring Donna Hylton who spent 27 years in prison for the grisly murder and torture of Thomas Vigliarolo, a NY businessman found stuffed inside a steamer trunk and left to rot in Harlem.

NO BELLE MICHELLE

Then there was Michelle Obama telling Americans to ‘go high’ after her husband tried to destroy candidate and then President Trump by weaponizing all of our intelligence agencies against him. Ironically, this is the same woman who proved that you can’t go any lower than the sentiment she expressed at the age of 44 that she was never proud to be an American until her husband was nominated to the U.S. presidency. Imagine, this Princeton and Harvard Law graduate lived almost five decades having to tolerate the bitter taste of American citizenship. And to prove plus ça change, her speech demonstrated that the bitterness bitterly lingers on.

REPRESENTING THE RELIGION OF PEACE

Then there was speaker Noman Hussain, an Imam affiliated with the Texas-based Qalam Institute, which advocates for “the use of female sex slaves, the killing of adulterers, and the incitement of hatred against Jews.”

THE PARTY’S MORAL COMPASS

Americans also got to see what one pundit called “the Party’s moral compass,” Bill Clinton, whose speech was preceded by the release of a photo showing one of Jeffery Epstein’s accusers giving the former president a shoulder massage.

Journalist Matt Vespa offered this critique: “It was a rather flat repudiation [of Trump] if anything. Bill just doesn’t have the mojo to deliver the heavy hits anymore. He looked tired… [he] did this as a Party favor.” But “unlike his succubus wife, [he] has political skills. He is personable. He is likeable. He’s framed Joe as the anti-Trump…[but] it’s not enough to win. Romney was the anti-Obama. John Kerry was the anti-Bush. Both guys lost.”

HE WAS IN VIETNAM, YOU KNOW

Speaking of Kerry, “it took approximately 20 seconds” for the former Secretary of State “to drop the first flagrant lie…when he claimed that the Obama administration’s so-called Iran deal had ‘eliminated the threat of an Iran with a nuclear weapon,’” wrote journalist David Harsanyi.

Kerry knew, Harsanyi continues, “that Israel uncovered a giant cache of documents with instructions on how to jump-start a program to build a nuclear arsenal. Time keeps proving John Kerry wrong. He’s just mad that Trump’s foreign policy is working far better than his.”

“SERIALKILLER”

And who can forget the oleaginous Governor of New York, Andrew Cuomo, who presented himself, according to Jake Lahut of BusinessInsider.com , “as a standard-bearer for the nation’s fight against the pandemic, calling for a better federal response than the Trump administration’s,” which Cuomo called “too sluggish.”

That’s really funny, coming from the guy who desperately called the president because of his own failure to order ventilators, which the president delivered in record time. Cuomo is also the guy who in a state of hysteria told the president he didn’t have enough beds and the president sent two massive, medically-outfitted ships and set up other medical facilities in world-class time, only to learn that Cuomo didn’t know what he was talking about––no additional ventilators or beds were needed!

Worse, according to journalist Daniel John Sobieski, Gov. Cuomo is a serial killer, guilty of “criminal negligence in ushering patients infected with the Chinese Wuhan virus”––which Cuomo calls the European virus––“into New York nursing homes, sentencing tens of thousands of vulnerable seniors to death.”

Sobieski says Cuomo’s distortions and invented facts and vilification of President Trump are all “obscene lies.” He cites New York Post columnist Miranda Devine who recently noted that Cuomo was still sending COVID patients into nursing homes, not only failing to protect the most vulnerable but deliberately putting them at risk.”

TA DA––THE NOMINEE!

And to top it off was the candidate himself, who was proud to admit that his daughter is so enamored of the recently indicted rap singer Cardi B that he agreed to an interview with her, but mercifully did not play her newest hit, WAP, perhaps the filthiest “song” I’ve ever heard.

Ole Joe got through his speech creditably, notwithstanding the disturbingly vacant look in his eyes.

But oh no! Say it ain’t so, Joe! As journalist Breck Dumas reported, even during the broadcast of Biden’s acceptance speech, a Twitter storm was “accusing Biden of lifting the words of departed liberal Canadian politician Jack Layton, who passed away in 2011––comparing the parting words of Biden’s speech to the final words of Jack Layton’s farewell letter before his death.”

Biden’s speech, a tweeter noted, said: “For love is more powerful than hate. Hope is more powerful than fear. Light is more powerful than dark. This is our moment. This is our mission.” Layton’s quote read, “My friends, love is better than anger. Hope is better than fear. Optimism is better than despair. So let us be loving, hopeful and optimistic. And we’ll change the world.”

Of course, Biden has been accurately accused of plagiarism for decades. But in this case, we can only conclude that his handlers and writers are plagiarists too.

FIREWORKS ….MINUS

The convention even had fireworks. Only one thing was missing. In the entire event, there was not ONE WORD mentioned of the months-long violence taking place in Democrat-run cities throughout our country––the short list includes Portland, Seattle, Chicago, Atlanta, Minneapolis, Baltimore, New York City––and the massive destruction wrought by the communist group Black Lives Matter (BLM) and Antifa: widespread arson, massive destruction of property, including historic statues and local white and black businesses, wanton attacks on innocent people, intimidation and harassment, et al.

And not ONE WORD about the actions of the emboldened BLM and Antifa thugs as they marched into the suburbs of Seattle and demanded that those over-privileged, capitalist, bad bad bad white people give their homes to Black people.

Why? Because as you can see by the behavior of the mayors who run those cities, it’s perfectly okay with them as long as they serve the “big picture” goal of the Democrat Party, i.e., to have things get so bad that there is no choice but to turn to Big Government to intervene, take over, and run all of our lives from cradle to grave.

That is why your vote in November is really between Communism and Freedom!

Virtual Democratic Convention Part 2

The ‘virtual’ 2020 Democratic Convention is over and I wasn’t impressed. The format, the social distancing, and the mask wearing was annoying enough, but they also presented a hokey bank of monitors to show an applauding ‘crowd.’ They flashed the generic clappers in the background, but it was a bit late for Kamala’s ‘historic’ speech. When she finished she momentarily stood there without applause or direction. Finally Biden came out to give her a hug…but NO! He socially distanced himself. It was all awkward, dehumanizing, and phony. Just what the DNC and Hillary ordered. Hillary has been notorious for scripting and planning out her responses. The 2020 convention had Hillary’s vodka-soaked fingerprints all over it.

The convention in Sean Hannity’s words was turned into ‘an infomercial’ and I agree. It also enabled the DNC to plot, plan, and sanitize their convention. No boos occurred such as what we heard during Hillary’s convention. Hillary fixed that. There was no discontent. There was no mention of the ongoing rioting, looting, and mayhem being committed in the Democrat-controlled big blue cities. All negativity was directed at President Trump. The Democrats accepted no blame for anything. To them, everything is Trump’s fault.

Without audience participation the convention smacked of contrived theater. We saw the usual suspects including the ‘3 B’s,’ Booker, Buttigieg, and Beto, and presumably the will communicate their far-left policies to Biden, but there was nothing really new or inspiring at the heavily-edited convention. Hillary was her usual Putin-hating, Trump-hating self. Obama’s speech didn’t praise Joe so much as attack Trump as a threat to ‘our democracy.’ He repeated ‘our democracy’ over and over, and when I heard it I always thought he meant ‘our socialism.’ We’re not a democracy, we’re a republic.

Biden surprised me with his speech. I didn’t hear any obvious gaffes and he spoke well. What he said was long on vague platitudes such as ‘restoring dignity’ and short on policy. I kept wondering if he was given a pill or shot to boost his mental alertness. Or it could be that he’s just good at reading a teleprompter. CNN went nuts and said it was the best speech Joe every made. I thought it was very forgettable.

Biden will no doubt return to his old mumbling, stumbling gaffe machine self when he debates Trump. He will sorely miss having a teleprompter.

When Barack Obama Went Low, Trump’s Numbers Went Higher

Obama tried to get down and dirty in a desperate attempt to stay relevant with young, far left socialistic party activists

Re-Posted from the Canada Free Press By  —— Bio and ArchivesAugust 20, 2020

When Barack Obama Went Low, Trump’s Numbers Went Higher

Former President Obama faced a major challenge last night on the third night of the Democratic Convention, in trying to persuade the American people that he sincerely believed his former Vice President Biden was truly up to the task of being president. Recall Obama passed over his VP Biden of eight years in 2016 to support his preferred candidate Hillary Clinton. So obviously Obama did not think that highly of Biden’s political skills at that time in preserving his (Obama’s) political legacy.

Obama also was lukewarm to Biden running for president in 2020. Obama withheld his endorsement until Biden was literally the last man standing.  Or stumbling as the case may be. Clearly, Obama would have preferred someone younger like Senator Booker or Senator Harris or more vibrant and policy-oriented as Senator Warren to preserve his historical legacy.

This was probably Obama’s worst speech of his political career

Let us not forget as reported by Politico, that fairly recently Obama advised a Democratic adviser, “that Biden could still f***eff it up.”

So in light of these known challenges and obstacles, did Obama rise above his realistic concerns about the viability of the Biden candidacy and give the speech of his political life in favor of his former loyal vice president? Interestingly, in Obama’s long 15-minute speech, he devoted relatively little time to speaking in favor of Joe Biden.

Clearly, this was not President Obama’s best speech.  This was probably Obama’s worst speech of his political career.

Firstly, this speech was mostly about Obama and his vision and his supposed oratorical skills, than about persuading people to vote for Biden.

Initially, Obama, talked glowingly about the founders of America, of the US and of US democracy. But it struck me, that as rioters and looters in American cities were tearing down statutes of Jefferson and Washington and throwing the statute of Christopher Columbus in the water and burning police stations and court buildings ( the pillar of American justice) and looting Best Buy for new TVs (Big Screen Smart TVs Matter), Obama stood silent and said nothing.

In fact in his speech, he said nothing of the looting, rioting, and killings in American cities of LA, Portland, Seattle, NY, Baltimore, Detroit and especially his home town of Chicago. He referred to these looters, killers and violent rioters as good young men and women peaceably demonstrating for justice.

Obama also talked about President Trump not being interested in the presidency. What he meant was Trump was not interested in preserving Obama’s horrible policies and legacy.

Trump campaigned on tearing up or withdrawing from NAFTA which trade agreement destroyed thousands of American jobs in middle America. Trump fought for and won a much improved pro America NAFTA 2 or known as the USMCA.

Obama demonstrated the epitome of mendacity and hypocrisy

Remember when Obama pursued the TransPacific trade agreement which Trump, Sanders and even Hillary Clinton opposed.

Obama ignored how China was eating America’s lunch in terms of taking thousands of American jobs and stealing its technology. Trump at least has stood up to China.

Obama’s Iran nuclear deal was a betrayal of American allies in the Mideast including Israel, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia which all opposed Obama’s tilt to the terrorist-funding Iran which was the true enemy of these American allies in the Mideast.

So when Obama talked last night about Trump betraying American allies, no matter how dulcet Obama’s fake words were, Obama demonstrated the epitome of mendacity and hypocrisy.

When Obama waxed eloquent on the freedom of the press, don’t you remember that he weaponized the DOJ and FBI to spy on those in the American press who had the temerity to question and oppose Obama’ views?

One of the foundations of democracy is the peaceful transfer of power. Obama violated that by permitting the weaponizing of the FBI and DOJ to illegally spy on Trump, the democratically elected opposition leader and his presidential campaign and then to illegally spy on President-elect Trump and his Administration in transition.

Last night Obama was not a brilliant orator at the top of his game. Obama was a sad pathetic political hack and also- ran, who should have left the public sphere when he was on top.

Instead, Obama tried to get down and dirty in a desperate attempt to stay relevant with young, far left socialistic party activists, who view this grey-haired Obama as tone-deaf and an old, irrelevant has-been and yesterday’s man.

Last night we just watched Obama dig his own political grave with the absolutely worst political speech of his career. My prediction, to paraphrase, Michelle Obama, when Barack Obama, went low in the gutter, Trump’s popularity went high and higher.
