By cross-referencing tree-ring data and coral core samples, a team of researchers have revealed that Australia suffered the worst drought in history before the whites settled there from Britain.  There was virtually no rainfall and rivers simply ran dry. Much of the wildlife died and massive bushfires ravaged the landscape, as we see in California these days. The total devastation lasted for one cycle of a 23-year mega-drought that crippled Australia between 1500 and 1522. Since the global warming crowd insists that everything that takes place on the planet is caused by human activity, the only possible explanation means we have to blame the aborigines.

When we correlate that into our computer models, we come up with the mega-drought cycle as what takes place during an Ice Age. The winters are sharply colder and the summers are dry as well as shorter. This is also why we tend to be witnessing larger fires in California. We have to step back and look at it from a global perspective. There was also a clear volcanic origin for The Little Ice Age. The Little Ice Age was caused by the cooling effect of massive volcanic eruptions and sustained by changes in Arctic ice cover. There were a series of volcanic eruptions just before the year 1300 that lowered Arctic temperatures enough for ice sheets to expand.

During this Little Ice Age, glaciers advanced in mountain valleys and actually destroyed many European settlements. Paintings from the 1600s depict people ice skating on the Thames River in London like this one from showing the Frozen Thames in a painting by Abraham Hondius from 1677. Even the canals in Amsterdam were frozen. It remained cold for nearly 200 years. There were ice fairs into late 1600 as shown in this painting from 1683. However, the winters were brutal even into the late 17oos and early 1800s, although gradually warmer from the depths of the 1600 period.

Thank God, global warming began from about 1600 onward.  Places as far away as South America and China also saw much cooler temperatures. There are records that show it was cold even into northern Florida. On December 19, 1765, there was a historical report of a “white frost” that fell in the northern part of the British colony of East Florida “of short duration, and of no material detriment to the agricultural interests.” Then in 1774, there was a snowstorm that extended across much of the northern territory of Florida that they called an “extraordinary white rain” which corresponded to the severe winters that killed many soldiers during the American Revolution. I have also written about how the cold defeated Napoleon.

I have warned that volcanic activity correlates with solar minimum, in which we are headed since 2015. In fact, this has been the sharpest decline in the energy of the sun that we know of. It has been exceptionally declining since 2015, which was the peak of the Economic Confidence Model (ECM). Since the ECM was constructed from economic data, it is interesting how the cyclical nature of the economy aligns with Mother Nature herself.

When we correlate everything, our findings of what actually took place are most interesting. There appears to have been a cycle of Solar Minimum which set off an unusual 50-year-long episode of four massive tropical volcanic eruptions, which perhaps triggered the Little Ice Age between 1275 and 1300 AD. There is evidence of volcanic eruptions during this period that appear to have set in motion a chain reaction that created a trend of lowering temperatures in the oceans and atmosphere for centuries. There are different competing theories behind the Little Ice Age: (1) a volcanic winter, noted by author Gifford Miller of the University of Colorado Boulder, (2) a decreased radiation from the sun noted in a January 2012 scientific study that was published in Geophysical Research Letters.

When both of these are correlated, I do not see them as mutually exclusive. It appears that we enter Solar Minimum, which correlates to a rise in volcanic activity. The volcanoes throw up ash and block the sun which cools the oceans. Recent studies have shown that the process does take hundreds of years. In fact, Harvard has recently published that deep regions of the oceans are STILL getting colder to this day from The Little Ice Age.

The bottom line simply implies that we will see drier summers, bigger droughts, and colder winters. The temperature rise post-Little Ice Age did NOT exceed the peak of the medieval warming period and it never came close to the peak in temperatures that aided the rise of the Roman Empire or the rise of Egypt. This strongly suggests that we are heading toward much colder years ahead, but it does not appear that we will make lower lows than The Little Ice Age. It appears that we will retest those lows and then finally begin to warm AFTER the 2032 cycle ends.

So much for Global Warming. We really need to prepare for what happens if we continue down this path of colder winters. The ground freezes and it can freeze even down two-feet. That means good luck on growing anything. It has been so cold, that even the rails for trains broke in three different places between Baltimore and Washington on Thursday. So even trains were delayed or canceled as Amtrak did for trains passing through Chicago.

It has been so cold, the tracks freeze and the only way to switch tracks is to set them on fire. Of course, the tracks themselves were not truly burning. They are made out of steel. The fires in Chicago on the tracks this week show flames smoldering in patches of melted snow around the tracks. The photos look wild and dangerous as if it were some apocalyptic image. The steel does not actually burn of melt. The flames simply keep the ice off the tracks at junctions where they need to switch tracks for trains passing through.

It is time to start SERIOUS investigation into climate change and knock off this global warming nonsense which has been an excuse to raise taxes. A few more years of cold weather like this and you will see severe shortages in food being to emerge for 2024. The previous lowest temperature in all of Chicago history was 27 degrees below zero, which was a record set on January 20th, 1985.  This past week almost broken that record reaching 23 degrees. But the wind-chill factor was certain far worse.

Everyone who ran out and bought an electric car has suddenly discovered that when it gets cold, the battery will lose on average 20-25% of its charge. The idea that electric cars will replace fossil fuels is really a dream. That will work in warm territories, but when it gets cold, they will require more energy production to service them. This comes at a time when power plants also have increased demand to keep people warm. Even a heat-pump, which runs on electric, will stop putting out heat when the temperature drops to 40 degrees F or lower.

If we are indeed going to move to electric cars, then with a new cold-age/ice age approaching, the need to generate more power in winter will present problems nobody considered on the planning board

There is a town named HELL in Michigan. It has actually frozen over. There were more than 3,600 flight cancellations and more than 14,867 delays. This extreme cold weather coupled with the shutdown will mean that the 1st quarter numbers in the US economy will also turn down sharply. Temperatures dropped into the mid 40s here in Tampa and I went to the movies to see a feature and there were at best 8 people and nobody on the road even down here. Power companies have been asking even General Motors to suspend production due to extreme temperatures. While Hell freezes over, the GDP of the US economy will decline and that is very bad news for the rest of the world that depends on selling things to American consumers – especially cars.

I suppose we failed to drive our cars enough to warm things up or it must be a new secret weapon of Russia that the Democrats can investigate and somehow link to Trump.

Chicago is now even colder that Antarctica with wind-chill factors at 70 below zero. What really astonishes me is that nature is never responsible for anything. Somehow, we are always to blame. This attitude seems to be exceptionally arrogant for we are more powerful than nature and to presume so we must assume that God also does not exist – we are the new all powerful beings.

Back in 1907, they were talking about how the warmest places were in the Arctic Circle. Weather records clearly demonstrate that there are cyclical periods of cold and warm. The planet is not something that is even supposed to be the same every year. There are always fluctuations.

Now we have the Global Warming people who have been dead wrong taking credit for the deep freeze still blaming humans and they switched their label from Global Warming to Climate Change so when it is colder each year they can still claim it is cause by human activity. Therefore, they will NEVER be wrong.

The way they make their forecasts are they just ignore all the evidence that is contrary to their thinking. NASA reported that the ice sheet in Antarctica is growing not shrinking. OOPS! We have to ignore than one. They were forecasting that this winter would be warmer and milder. Of course, nobody ever brings up all the forecasts they have been dead wrong on continually.

ANSWER: I am awaiting their data to run it through and see what comes out. This is what I mean about opinion. How can anyone forecast something without the data? What we do know is also that the Jet Stream moves up and down, so it would make sense that the Tropic Belt would also do the same. The Jet Stream has been dipping as well and creating a very diverse curve pattern. So this produced the COLDEST New Year’s Eve on record last year. This is also why you have people who want to claim it is irrelevant if people die of cold in Wales. They argue that since it is warm where they are in Canada, it must prove that Global Warming is real. They are not the brightest bulb in the box.

Then we have the Pacific Jet Stream. These people who always try to reduce any effect to a single cause should be barred from any research EVER!!! If you want to understand how interconnected our planet is then you also need to look at and study El Niño. The interconnectivity is similar to all the world financial markets, which create a level of complexity beyond most human’s ability to rationalize. Both the weather system and the financial system function on an extremely high level of complexity. The patterns and events in one place can affect life on the other side of the planet in both systems.

Hence, one person will argue it is Global Warming because they happen to be in a hot spot and others are dying in blizzard conditions. I moved to the Tampa area where hopefully the Jet Stream does not bring ice on my windshield. Nevertheless, it has been unseasonably cold here as well and it has even dipped into the 30s at night as far south as Miami.

Then we have the real simple minded people who actually believe we would drown if all the ice melted in the Arctic. They have completely forgotten about EVAPORATION. If the ice melted, that water would mix with the Atlantic and Pacific, causing them to become colder. But then the Arctic would be able to evaporate. This is how Ice Ages take place for a very long time because the water returns as snow and that is how the glaciers build.

There have been at least five major ice ages in the Earth’s history (the Huronian, Cryogenian, Andean-Saharan, Karoo Ice Age, and the current Quaternary Ice Age). Aside from these ages, the Earth seems to have been ice-free even in high latitudes. This is a historical fact that the Global Warming people ignore. Based upon the data we have gathered, there appears to be a cycle of 430 million years. This agrees with the 8.6-year frequency. The last Ice Age was the Quaternary glaciation, which was actually a series of glacial events separated by interglacial events. This began 2.58 million years ago, so at least according to our models, we have plenty of spare time left in this cycle. However, the ice caps today that the Global Warming people are screaming about are the remnants of that period. There is a bottom to the Arctic ice cap. The Antarctic ice sheet actually began to form earlier (about 34 million years ago) in the mid-Cenozoic to late Cenozoic Ice Age period. That means there have been periods that existed without ANY ice caps. We cannot blame even Egyptians for climate change since civilization did not exist back in those days.

This is my problem with the whole Global Warming nonsense being attributed to humans. I would agree if they could show me evidence that such a condition NEVER existed previously before the Industrial Revolution. To me, this is just a cycle and we should respect that the planet if a far more complex system than these idiots put out. NOTHING can ever be reduced to a single cause and effect.
