Does America Need NATO?

Former President Donald Trump has recently reiterated his stance that the United States is unfairly carrying the financial burden of the NATO alliance. He has criticized other NATO members for not meeting their defense spending targets and believes that the US should not protect allies who fail to meet these targets. Trump threatened to withdraw from NATO during his presidency as this has been a longtime grudge. So, who is contributing their fair share?

NATO nations have agreed to pay 2% of GDP toward the alliance in 2014 in the wake of the Crimea annexation. Unfortunately, written agreements carry no weight in politics as of recent years. Trump believes anyone failing to pay their bills should become the target as they do not deserve the protection of the US after years of failing to meet their obligations. Trump would “encourage them [Russia] to do whatever the hell they want” to the 18 nations who are not meeting the 2% target.

NATO North Atlantic Terror Organization

Only three NATO nations besides the US were committing to the agreement when Trump was sworn into office in 2017 (Greece, Poland, the UK). NATO members increased their contributions after Trump threatened to withdraw. Still, as of today, only seven of those members besides the US are paying their fair share (the UK, Greece, Poland, Latvia, Estonia, Croatia, and Lithuania). Newly added Romania, Hungary, Finland, and Slovakia are so grateful to be part of the alliance that they are paying over 2%.

Stoltenberg Jens NATO

Europe arguably has more to lose in this war, so why is the United States bankrolling NATO? Does America actually need NATO for protection? No. But they do need NATO to create and amplify wars. Even European economic powerhouses like Germany (1.57%) and France (1.9%) have failed to meet their 2014 agreement.

Trump’s comments have sparked anger within the alliance, with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg saying Trump’s comments threaten global security. While encouraging an attack on any nation is counterproductive, the numbers clearly indicate that NATO is taking full advantage of America, which is propping up the entire alliance by providing over 70% of overall funding. No one is helping America to secure its borders, but America is expected to act as a global police force, abandon all domestic interests, and interfere whenever another nation’s borders are in jeopardy. America does not need NATO; NATO needs America.

Biden’s Unsettling X Post – Senate Passes $95 Billion Foreign Aid Bill

Posted originally on Feb 14, 2024 By Martin Armstrong

Joe Biden is failing epically on social media. Biden’s campaign attempted to join TikTok, despite his own administration banning the app from government devices. The comments on his video show exactly why the government wants to ban TikTok as they are extremely critically of the Biden regime and uncensored. While the nation was distracted by the Super Bowl on Sunday, Biden’s team posted the above image to x (formerly Twitter).

The image is a longstanding meme coined “Dark Brandon,” portraying Joe Biden as a laser-eyed villain. Snopes and other far-left mouthpieces are stumped at the meaning behind the post, however, many believe he was attempting to mock conspiracy theorists who believed the Super Bowl was rigged in favor of Chiefs, who star player and girlfriend support both Biden, climate change, and the COVID agenda. The timing of the post that went out after the game ended in overtime is a bit suspicious.

“Just like we drew it up.” The vague caption can only point to one thing – the next spending bill for Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan. On Sunday, the US Senate considered a motion to advance a $95 billion foreign aid bill that received a 67-27 vote in favor of moving the bill forward. The bill had failed numerous times but Biden insisted that the American public would pay, Ukraine in particular, by any means necessary. His team had the paperwork ready, just like they drew it up.

By Tuesday, the Senate cleared the aid package in a 70-29 vote. Notably, Democrats Bernie Sanders, Peter Welch, and Jeff Merkley voted against this bill. Senators Rand Paul and J.D. Vance advocated for the people of America and spent hours speaking to their peers as the pleaded with them to STOP the spending. “Will we give those who wish us harm more reason to question our resolve, or will we recommit to exercising American strength?” McConnell asked, as he and Schumer celebrated the latest addition to the national debt.

The House will now decide on this legislation, but clearly, the plan is in place. The establishment refuses to be dismissed and will eliminate any opposition.

Trump v Colorado – It’s a Matter of Jurisdiction

Trump v Anderson My Amicus Brief-F

QUESTION: Your argument on the Commerce Clause is spot on, I believe. Why do the lawyers involved in the Colorado case removing Trump does not grasp the structure of the Constitution as you do? They admit that ruling in favor of Colorado would result in national chaos. Your analysis of the Commerce Clause demonstrates that the writers of the Constitution understood such a result would break the union. Any comment on this oversight would be greatly appreciated.

ANSWER: Sometimes, lawyers focus too intently because statutory law is wordsmithing. They are arguing if Trump is an officer when they should be looking at the subject matter jurisdiction of the law. I have had to study law from a global perspective, looking at its evolution from ancient times to the present. Continental Europe followed Canon Law, whereas England created Common Law. There are huge differences such as under French law, not even your brother-in-law can be compelled to testify against you, whereas under English Common Law, the king is ruthless, so the only one with such a privilege is a spouse. They can throw your children in prison on contempt until they testify against a parent. We do not respect the family unit, whereas, under Canon Law, anyone related by marriage is covered.

I was so appalled that the oral arguments were focused on wordsmithing I decided to submit my own Amicus Curiae brief. The Court is not supposed to raise an argument that is not presented. They will probably reject it because it was after oral argument. But if they want a clean escape that is constitutionally correct rather than not addressing the issue directly, then just maybe they might make an exception and accept a Pro Se Amicus. It might be a first, anyway.

Catherine Herridge has been released from employment with CBS as a round of job terminations and cost cutting initiatives have been triggered.

Many people liked Herridge and she seemed to do a better job than normal given her position(s) inside the machinery.  However, I lost most of my respect for Herridge approximately 4 years ago, and eventually just considered her a great pretender amid a multitude of big pretenders.

CBS News president Ingrid Ciprian-Matthews reportedly fired Herridge.

New York Post – […] Sources said CBS News’ Washington bureau, where Herridge covered national security and intelligence, was hit particularly hard.

Among the other Washington casualties, sources said, was CBS News correspondent Jeff Pegues, who was subjected to HR probes over his workplace behavior, including an alleged incident in which he dressed down a female colleague in a “20-minute rant.”

When the incident was investigated in 2021, insiders said, Ciprian-Matthews — who insiders have accused of promoting minorities while unfairly sidelining white journalists — attempted to “blame” the female correspondent and eventually gave Pegues a promotion. (read more)

Deep State wants Absentee Presidents

Posted originally on Feb 12, 2024 By Martin Armstrong

COMMENT: You have far more experience dealing with governments than any of these newsletter commentators. RFK just confirmed what you have been saying and what Putin said: that the president does not really make the decisions. RFK just said, “There are entrenched interests and special interests in government that actually benefit from having a president who is not completely competent. ” He is talking about the Deep State without using that term.

I was in Austin. I didn’t get a chance to shake your hand at Mikki’s event. I did see you talking to RFK’s people. I hope he listens to you.

Trump Cabinet Meeting

ANSWER: The role of the President is to be the referee at these Cabinet Meetings. Biden is on vacation 40% of the time. He does not have the mental capacity nor the stamina to do the job. The agencies always want an ABSENTEE president. They get to do what they want and never have to answer to anyone. This is what is tearing the country apart. We have all of these agencies doing their own thing, and nobody is coordinating anything. The State Department is driving us into World War III, and nobody can put the brakes on these people. They threaten China over Taiwan when China is the largest holder of US debt. Then, the Treasury has to send Yellen over to beg for them to keep buying US debt. If they stop, long-term interest rates will soar.

Deep State 1

We can’t even take 90 days more of this insanity. They are trying to create war by July under the theory no president has ever lost during the war. The Democrats would not even allow anyone else to be on the ticket against Biden, fearing he cannot debate and will lose. They have told Democratic states to try to remove Trump and launched relentless actions against Trump, desperate to ensure four more years with Biden and absentee leadership. This is the Deep State in complete control.
