Violence and Destruction by Protestors in Portland
Too bad the good people of Portland, Oregon, worried about the violence in their city,  can’t simply cut away from it the way Fox News did today. But they can’t because the violence that’s taken over their home city has been playing out for the better part of almost two months and is getting worse.

No matter how violent or profane, the news is the news, and that’s what White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany tried to show to White House Press Corps reporters in her press briefing today.

“Fox News cut away on Friday from a White House briefing when Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany showed footage of violent demonstrations in Portland, Oregon, because the video included images of profane graffiti on a federal courthouse. “(Breitbart, July 24, 2020)

Many folk are used to the signature graffiti left on federal buildings by Black Lives Matter, Antifa and are in fact sickened by it.

“We were not expecting that video, and our management here at Fox News has decided we will pull away from that at this time,” said anchor Harris Faulkner. (Breitbart)

“Faulkner returned to airing the briefing once McEnany started taking questions from the press corps. At the end of the hour, Faulkner said the network had not been aware McEnany planned to show the video. Faulkner suggested she preferred to be given a heads up for violent and profane content.”

Since when did news networks presume the rights to heads up for violent and profane content from videos shown at White House press briefings?

Aren’t most protests, claimed by the Democrats to be “peaceful”, violent and profane?

What’s “peaceful” about protests where innocent people are abused and where businesses are destroyed?

What happened to a major network like Fox News’ ability to bleep out profanity?

Why couldn’t Fox simply have cut away from the offensive graffiti on display and continue on with the coverage of the profanity on video by talking over it?

Surely it wasn’t to keep Ms. McEnany from making her point to White House reporters?

“Democrats have maintained that the riots in Portland were “peaceful protests.” Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti claimed Thursday that the rioters in Portland represented “the best of our democratic ideals.” (Breitbart)

“Protesters in the video loudly shouted expletives, and one protester even expressed her wish that police officers would die.” (Washington Examiner, July 24, 2020)

Today wasn’t the first Fox News cut away from something they did not seem to want to report.

Just a little more than a week ago, Fox News host Neil Cavuto used the cut away tactic:

“Thursday, Fox News host Neil Cavuto cut away during a speech by President Donald Trump on deregulation to fact-check his claims that former President Barack Obama had enacted “job-destroying regulations.” (Breitbart) (Canada Free Press, July 16, 2020)

“Cavuto said, “I do want to clarify a couple of things he said, that no president in history has cut regulations as much as he has. That is true. I think he might have mischaracterized the regulations that were added under Barack Obama — they were largely financial related. You might recall we had this little thing called the financial meltdown, and much of those regulations were geared to preventing banks from ever investing in things like risky mortgage securities, pooling them, selling them off.”

“He continued, “The unemployment rate did, under Barack Obama, go down from a high of 10% to around 4.7%. President Trump, of course, sent that even lower, eventually getting us down to a 3.5% unemployment rate. But I didn’t want to leave you with the impression that during those eight years when Obama first came into office, and we were bleeding about a million jobs a month that that was standard fare and that characterized the whole eight years.”

“He added, “It was not a disaster under Barack Obama. Not only did the Dow essentially triple during his tenure, but whether you want to call the increase regulations and other things that police financial companies, as a bane to our existence, those companies did very well. Americans did very, very well. So I just want to put that in some context here.”

Reporting on the violence of the protesters in Portland is part of the job for any news outlet.

Cutting away is not telling it like it is.

As Canada Free Press cartoonist Dag Barkely points out about the latest Fox News cutaway:

“The (Fox News) management felt you’re not allowed to see the truth of what is really happening.“

Business Education Hijacked by Anti-Capitalist Marxism

Business Education Hijacked by Anti-Capitalist Marxism

Education took a drastic twist with the turn of the century. In the works for decades, the very definition of education underwent major overhaul, completing the transformation of teaching into indoctrination.

Education majors watched how programs that once imparted methods of teaching subject matter to pupils refocused on implementation of redefined language – words and phrases corrupted over time to condition thought processes instead of encouraging an exchange of ideas. Retooled teacher training stressed class management techniques (crowd control) and appeasing students and/or parents to avoid litigation. Teaching straightforward content such as math, history, grammar, spelling, etc. got lost in the shuffle.

The steady change in language to suit institutional programming has been wildly successful. Easily influenced non-binary Generation Z (or whatever the ‘newspeak’ has designated 20 to 30-somethings) have had their minds so challenged by educational standards (otherwise referred to as brainwashing) that the level of personal confusion has created a zombie-like herd of social destroyers.

They are the conditioned mobs roaming the streets of progressive-run cities – Seattle, Portland, Minneapolis, Chicago, New York, etc. – fire-bombing businesses, despising law enforcement, stealing property, and demolishing municipal infrastructure to create filth-ridden social anarchy that looks askance at murder.

How did America, of all nations, reach this crossroad? By redefining ‘education’ to makeover public schools and colleges into radical training centers. The fruits of sixty years of communist-leaning academic programming is tearing down what liberty built, replacing orderly freedom with catastrophic chaos.

Destructive education is now embedded in colleges and universities, both public and private. No academic discipline has been immune from the implementation of Marxist precepts under the expansion of teachers’ unions over the last century.

The rugged individualism that built America’s greatness (so detested by communist educators that are now in the majority at learning institutions) has taken a beating even in the business sector. Business programs have been undermined by collectivist thought, converting capitalism into marketing – otherwise understood to be the promotion of acceptable social behaviors. As far as most colleges are concerned, capitalism is dead and commerce must conform to social justice ‘norms.’

The recent spate of violence spurred by a video of the mistreatment of George Floyd in Minneapolis was hijacked by the Marxist (and misnamed) Black Lives Matter organization. Peaceful protests were purposefully infiltrated by cowardly, mostly white, agitators who hid their faces behind masks. Claiming to uphold justice for people of color, they turned nonviolent demonstrations into open riots by planting bricks, baseball bats, and incendiary devices along march routes.

Corporations have abandoned established business practices by jumping on the bandwagon, either openly funding the anarchist Black Lives Matter or routing funds through secondary organizations like the ACLU, NAACP, African American Leadership Forum or Equal Justice Initiative. How some of these organizations utilize the funds is clear as mud because rhetoric is the byword in a post-Covid-19 commercial world. It is the word commentators use in place of the less genteel term shortened into the initials B.S.

Hundreds of millions of dollars are being allocated by corporations believing that by underwriting divisive social justice groups they are promoting commerce. They are, in fact, undermining their freedom to create wealth by supporting non-profits that create administrative programs that do little more than make minority members think something is being changed to promote minority success.

It is how marketing has permeated every aspect of commerce, beginning with business and social education. Establishment educators now teach rhetoric as an accepted component of business curricula, demonstrated by the syllabus for a core class at BYU.

There are two prongs to the ‘devolution’ of the American business model that is being relentlessly implemented in this election year. First is the misrepresentation of the Wuhan virus “pandemic.

Mark Levin broadcast taped comments of Ron Klain in 2009 on CSPAN at the Biological Attacks and Pandemics Forum (a Biden staffer at the time and later Obama’s Ebola Response team coordinator), clearly stating “We did every possible thing wrong,” regarding the 2009 outbreak of Swine flu. “60 million Americans got H1N1” when the epidemic was swept under the rug by discontinuing flu testing. And what did Obama do? Absolutely nothing. No lock-downs, no masks, no social distancing, no school closures and the United States survived without a problem. (Mark Levin Show, July 16, 2020 approximately at the 49-minute mark.)

Compare the 60 million number to the 3.5 million cases worldwide. The overreaction now is an attempt to destabilize the government making it ripe for a democrat takeover, under which comes the second prong attack:

It’s the  Marxist-directed destruction of cities under the guise of social justice that amounts to the dual spread of misery by targeting so-called white privilege. But it’s not the white population that’s suffering most under the incendiary, violent rioting. It’s the small minority-owned businesses and big box stores that are being looted and burned. The purpose appears to be clear – target small business that can’t recover without government assistance, and take out the major commercial centers that cater to minority communities, leaving them without goods and services. Yet major corporations are funding the groups bent on destroying them.

Through it all, blame is directed at white privilege to divide communities and plummet commercial districts and inner cities into engineered poverty. Along with this scheme is the promotion of a ‘defund the police’ movement in an attempt to create a disgruntled, angry minority population that the anarchists believe will form a backlash against law and civil order.

What the resistance hadn’t expected is how their plan is backfiring as more city dwellers of every color are crying out for more police presence to protect them from the lawlessness and murder being promulgated right outside their front doors.

While teachers’ unions are suing Florida Governor Ron DeSantis for expecting them to return to school and do their jobs, black community members and preachers like Bevelyn Beatty are taking their message to the streets, literally. Supporting law and order and the re-opening of businesses and schools, courageous individuals are painting over anti-social Black Lives Matter graffiti to make the point that America is composed of people of every color, creed and faith and they’re past ready to open for business and resume free enterprise.

Biden and UN Secretary General Call for New Left Wing Social Contracts

United Nations bureaucrats won’t say so publicly, but they must be salivating at the prospect of a Biden presidency

Biden and UN Secretary General Call for New Left Wing Social Contracts

Joe Biden calls his plan to radically transform America’s economy “Build Back Better.” There are four pillars of Biden’s “Build Back Better” plan. Three that have already been rolled out are revitalizing domestic manufacturing and innovation, a $2 trillion environmental and green energy infrastructure initiative, and a $775 billion caregiving initiative. Biden will be rolling out the details of his final “Build Back Better” pillar, advancing racial equity, shortly. Biden has lifted the “Build Back Better” catchphrase from the United Nations he so reveres.

Biden, an avowed globalist, is also calling for a new social contract

“Build Back Better” was used originally by the UN to describe the disaster recovery, rehabilitation and reconstruction concept set forth in the Sendai Framework for Disaster Risk Reduction 2015-2030. This framework was adopted at the Third UN World Conference in Sendai, Japan, on March 18, 2015. But now, following the onset of the coronavirus pandemic, “Build Back Better” has become the UN’s clarion call for a new social contract and new global deal.

Biden, an avowed globalist, is also calling for a new social contract. In his commencement speech to Columbia Law School’s Class of 2020, Biden declared that COVID-19 should be seen “as a force majeure that compels us to rewrite the social contract that’s been scrambled by nature’s fury and human failures.” The close parallels between Biden’s vision of what such a new social contract would look like and the UN’s vision are noteworthy.

Starting with the United Nations, the central themes of the UN’s concept of a “new social contract” are a rapid transition to what it calls an inclusive green economy and an end to inequality worldwide. UN Secretary General Guterres spelled this out in detail in his Nelson Mandela Lecture entitled “Tackling the Inequality Pandemic: A New Social Contract for a New Era.” Guterres said that the coronavirus pandemic “has laid bare risks we have ignored for decades: inadequate health systems; gaps in social protection; structural inequalities; environmental degradation; the climate crisis.” Guterres added that “when building back better, we build back with inclusiveness and with sustainability, addressing the problems of inequality and addressing the problems of climate change.” He called “not only for climate action, but climate justice.” On other occasions the Secretary General has warned of what he described as the “world’s climate emergency.”

The leftist progressives advising Joe Biden’s campaign are busy writing the Biden template for a new social contract

Guterres also said in his Nelson Mandela Lecture that the world needs “affirmative action programmes and targeted policies to address and redress historic inequalities in gender, race or ethnicity that have been reinforced by social norms.”

On other occasions, Guterres has bought into the progressive narratives of so-called systemic racism, widespread police brutality, and the “racist legacy” of slavery.

Guterres referred in his Nelson Mandela Lecture to colonialism as an historic source of global inequality, whose legacy, he said, “still reverberates.” Thus, in addition to creating a new social contract within each country, Guterres called for a new global deal with a significant transfer of resources to the developing world – i.e., massive wealth redistribution. He also said that “A new model for global governance must be based on full, inclusive and equal participation in global institutions.”

The leftist progressives advising Joe Biden’s campaign are busy writing the Biden template for a new social contract, which leans heavily in the same socialist, globalist direction as the UN’s “Build Back Better” ideas.  In the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations, for example, which are intended to help guide the Biden campaign, there is a section entitled “Combating The Climate Crisis And Pursuing Environmental Justice.” The co-chairs of the committee who authored this section are Democratic-Socialist Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and former Secretary of State John Kerry. “Climate change is a global emergency,” the first sentence of this section says, mirroring UN Secretary General Guterres’ alarmism.

“Fundamental reforms to address systemic racism and entrenched income and wealth inequality in our economy and our financial system”

“Democrats commit to reducing climate risks and building back better after disasters and climate-fueled catastrophes in a resilient, green and just manner,” the AOC/Kerry-led committee wrote. This would include “a screening and mapping tool to ensure racial and socioeconomic equity in federal climate, energy, and infrastructure programs.” The committee also has the same concern about “climate justice” as UN Secretary General Guterres does. “Democrats believe we must embed environmental justice and climate justice at the heart of our policy and governing agenda,” the AOC/Kerry-led committee declared.

There is also a section in the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations entitled “Building A Stronger, Fairer Economy,” authored by a different committee that is co-chaired by progressive congresswoman Karen Bass. Representative Bass is the current leader of the Congressional Black Caucus and is reportedly under consideration for selection as Joe Biden’s running mate.

Employing all the talking points of the leftist progressives, this section calls for “fundamental reforms to address systemic racism and entrenched income and wealth inequality in our economy and our financial system.”  It seeks to punish those who succeed in our economy with more onerous taxes, and proposes to “equalize established pathways for building wealth.” It extols the virtues of a “new social and economic compact” that would invest “in building equity and mobility for the communities of color and Native American communities who have been left out and left behind for generations.”

“Making racial equity part of the mandate of the Federal Reserve”

In addition to “making racial equity part of the mandate of the Federal Reserve”- a bizarre idea itself –  the “Building A Stronger, Fairer Economy” section of the Biden-Sanders unity document states as follows: “Democrats will direct regulators to consider potential effects of future mergers on the labor market, on low-income and racially marginalized communities, and on racial equity.” This is social engineering on steroids.

“Equity” means equality of outcome, not of opportunity. Biden is being led down a path that would ruin our country by leftists who are anti-capitalist. Joe Biden will be little more than a malleable vehicle for the progressive left’s radical agenda. Waleed Shahid, communications director for Justice Democrats that was instrumental in getting AOC elected, described Biden’s emerging platform as “the most progressive platform of any Democratic nominee in the modern history of the party.”

United Nations bureaucrats won’t say so publicly, but they must be salivating at the prospect of a Biden presidency. They are confident that Biden is on their side and would prioritize the U.S.’s return to the disastrous Obama-Biden Iran nuclear deal and Paris climate agreement. UN Secretary General Guterres, who once served as secretary-general of the Socialist Party in his native Portugal, as vice president of Socialist International, and as Portugal’s prime minister, will find a willing partner in a “President” Joe Biden. To start with, they can work together on their new socialist social contracts.

De Blasio’s Elevator Doesn’t Go All The Way Up To The Top

New York Mayor is walking proof that derangement is far more contagious than the Coronavirus

De Blasio’s Elevator Doesn’t Go All The Way Up To The Top

‘New York Commerce Killer’ Mayor Bill de Blasio is caricatured in a banner unfurled for all to see over the iconic Staten Island Expressway. in a banner, showing Hiz Honor decked out in a T-Shirt imprinted by the not-so-dearly-departed Marxist killer Che Guevara and holding the severed head of Lady Liberty.

“It’s what he’s doing to New York, he’s severing the head of the greatest city on Earth,” Scott LoBaido, the artist behind the banner, told the New York Post.” (Fox News, July 22, 2020)

“New York has turned into a sh—hole because of this guy,” LoBaido continued. “He hates the true New Yorkers – police officers, firefighters … people who built this city.”

“The artist’s banner appeared on an overpass at Exit 13B of the expressway during the afternoon rush hour, the Post reported.

“De Blasio, 59, now serving his second term as mayor of the nation’s largest city, is among a group of Democratic mayors across the nation who have been taking heat from their constituents – as well as from President Trump and other Republicans – for their handling of the coronavirus pandemic, the rioting and other unrest that has followed the May 25 death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, and recent spikes in shootings and other crimes.

“Earlier this month, President Trump took aim at de Blasio after reports that New York City planned to slash the city’s police budget by $1 billion and paint a “Black Lives Matter” mural in the street along Fifth Avenue, directly outside Trump Tower.

“De Blasio – who later helped Black Lives Matter activists paint the mural – responded to the president by implying that Trump was a racist.

“Here’s what you don’t understand,” de Blasio wrote. “Black people BUILT 5th Ave and so much of this nation. Your ‘luxury’ came from THEIR labor, for which they have never been justly compensated. We are honoring them. The fact that you see it as denigrating your street is the definition of racism.”

Before taking time out to play Crayon Politics with BLM, de Blasio proved that his elevator doesn’t go all the way to the top by ordering that only one person will be allowed in elevators when businesses return to work, but as The Daily Mail pointed out…”fails to mention that it only applies when people aren’t wearing masks and they can in fact run at 50% capacity”.

“In New York City there were just 59 hospitalizations on Wednesday; 45 people died on Tuesday. (Daily Mail, May 26, 2020)

“Despite the low numbers, neither de Blasio nor Cuomo will let the city reopen.

“They say there aren’t enough free hospital beds and that they do not have enough contact tracers .

“Employers have to operate a 50% capacity, keep staff 6ft apart, provide them with free masks and let only one person in confined space at a time.

“Hundreds of small businesses have reopened quietly in defiance of the order – de Blasio called it ‘idiotic’.

“He says he’ll fine them $1,000 then keep issuing fines if they disobey the order

On Thursday he ranted that businesses do not get to make up their own rules and said proudly: ‘You have earned your way to the gateway of phase one’ but wouldn’t declare it.

De Blasio a limousine liberal transported about town by chauffeurs

Bottom liner Catholic blogger Ann Barnhardt wrote in today’s post that “New York City has committed suicide by allowing only one person permitted in an elevator car at a time”. (Ann Barnhardt)

De Blasio who spends most of his time coming up with new ways to kill off commerce doesn’t understand the business world.

Riding elevators one at a time in a city of skyscrapers like New York has replaced the days when America rode the rails in trains like the one called ‘The City of New Orleans’, memorialized by folk singer Arlo Guthrie.

You can bet your sinking business that de Blasio never rode the rails with the little people,  as a limousine liberal transported about town by chauffeurs.

Meanwhile the New York Mayor is walking proof that derangement is far more contagious than the Coronavirus.

You Simply Cannot Imagine the Amount of Abject Misery in this Place — So Sad!

You cannot explain it.  Pure unadulterated misery in every corner. It’s a million times worse than you could fathom.  The most singularly depressing town in the entire universe. And if you know anyone who enjoys it here, that tells you just how far disconnected they are from the rest of our nation.   There is nothing here except misery and functionaries, human robots, carrying through with their duties without any idea why.

When I say this is a lifeless soulless place.  You must imagine my new context to really understand it.   Staying in a hotel with only one, perhaps a handful, of other guest(s) is a rather remarkable sense of living amid misery in real life.

Yes, it’s like a living example of The Shining, sans the death-knock of the twins in the middle of the night.   That is correct.  Trump International DC – and NO GUESTS.  It’s a desolate, depressing, empty dystopian hotel nightmare hidden from all normal people in America including me.  I had no idea the metastasized rot had already spread to the central nervous system.   Eric needs to sell this place, and fast – it’s over.

Restaurants closed.  Everything closed.  Lights out.  DARK. Want to eat, go to the grocery store and hope for bologna and some bread.  Everything on television/internet is a lie.  I know, I’m here.  They must import stand-in’s for POTUS visits to this place.

From what I can tell the DC mayor has targeted her closures in a manner as to inflict the maximum damage on Trump properties and holdings.  I would estimate Trump International DC is bleeding around $100k per day currently/ perhaps more… depending on how much air conditioning they shut down.

DC as a whole is the same.  An 8:00pm walk and you see nothing… a city completely devoid of life…. no cars… no people…  nothing.   A few rats scurrying from sidewalk to planter shelf, and a few scooters laying sideways in the middle of the sidewalk with ever dimming green circles as the batteries pulsate and run out.

I mean this town is dead.

The word misery is so far removed from the depressed stares amid the soulless eyes, that it would take a thousand years of bliss for a glimmer of hope to reappear.   This place is an abhorrent Potemkin village of what appears on the nightly news about it.

This is my first visit as a non-tourist.   So I am able to see the people who are attempting to manage their way through this nightmare.  It is far, far worse than anything you can imagine.

Be thankful for your local debate about schools opening, wearing masks and assorted nuance.  This is not that.

This town is the hollowed carcass of a cockroach still moving from the maggots that have taken the remaining source of nutrition.   Every eye behind the mask shows misery, fear, and disconnection from the world we know… you know.

It’s bizarre and even though I have been here many times before, this time I simply cannot describe it adequately.  DC is lost.  Lost not because it has fallen ill to some COVID-19 infection, but literally lost to the premise of our nation’s capital.

There are no people here.  There are robots trying to reach the charging stations.

For the first time in my life I’m not sure I want President Trump to win another term.   Who in their right mind would wish this on anyone.

More later….

Can Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum Ever Be Trusted?

COMMENT: Marty,

The Eugenicists/bioethicists/climate change/population reduction activists just won’t quit. The Actors of today are continuing the great work started long ago by their predecessors. They are allowed to practice their religion, while any religion that directly challenges and undermines their authority is now being shutdown along with any business that can compete with theirs. After all, John D Rockefeller has been credited with saying, “Competition is a sin”.

They believe in the survival of the fittest, but they know they’re not the fittest if push comes to shove. So they have to create the illusion they’re the fittest to maintain control, while trying to eliminate those that would beat them in order to survive. They got a jump start, but can they last?

Best,

E

REPLY: Klaus Schwab is a very dangerous man, and a typical academic who thinks talking to the average person on the street is pointless since we are all stupid. Schwab, who is the founder of the Davos World Economic Forum, now has the audacity to warn that a failure to tackle the deep-rooted ills of our society in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic could exacerbate the risk of “violent shocks,” such as conflicts and revolutions. In other words, we MUST accept his Great Reset. He is in league with Bill Gates and others and sees no problem with destroying jobs and sharply reducing the food supply all to further his nonsense to stop global warming when CO2 is only 0.04% of the atmosphere.

There is no way to avoid civil unrest, global economic disputes, and the risk of international war all because Schwab and his friends are so arrogant that they think their delusions can redesign the world economy.

The Case Against Revolution With Ayaan Hirsi Ali

interview with Ayaan Hirsi Ali

Posted from Uncommon Reason originally posted Tuesday, June 30, 2020

Recorded on June 25, 2020

As the United States and the world embark on fraught conversations about race, history, law enforcement, and the underpinnings of our very civilization, Ayaan Hirsi Ali joins Peter Robinson for an enlightening conversation.  A refugee from Africa, Hirsi Ali fled to Europe to escape an arranged marriage, becoming an activist, (now former) member of the Dutch Parliament, and now a research fellow at the Hoover Institution.  With a different set of life experiences and perspectives from American-born Blacks, Hirsi Ali discusses how, as a Somalian, she views America as the best place on earth for minorities to grow up and achieve their potential.  While acknowledging the hardships and miseries that American Blacks have endured and that racism still exists in many quarters of American society, Hirsi Ali emphatically believes that America is more than capable of solving racial inequalities, provided it preserves the institutions that ultimately ended slavery and empowered the protest movements of the 1960s that birthed the Civil Rights Movement. As she wrote in a recent column for the Wall Street Journal, an opinion she reiterates on this show, “There will be no resolution of America’s . . . problems if free thought and free speech are no longer upheld as sacrosanct. . . . Without them, honest deliberation, mutual learning, and the American ethic of problem-solving are dead.”

Dem Pols welcome Red Guards to occupy their cities

Granted, the foundation of America’s Red Guards and the Cancel Culture Movement is not as easily traced as is the CCP’s sponsorship of Mao’s Cultural Revolution

Dem Pols welcome Red Guards to occupy their cities

America’s Cancel Culture Revolution has flourished in Big Blue Cities –—most notably Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington —where local and state politicians show their support of America’s Red Guards by dismissing the seriousness of their criminal activities, and ordering their police forces to stand-down.

Previously on this site, the behavioral characteristics of America’s Red Guards were compared to Mao’s Red Guards. The parallels are too obvious to ignore.

China’s Cultural Revolution was not a bottom-up spontaneous movement. It was initiated by the Chinese Community Party (CCP).  Here are six quotes from one of the main documents that chronicles their birth.

Marxism-Leninism

Excerpts are from the “Circular of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China on the Great Proletarian Cultural Revolution,” that was “initiated and led personally by Comrade Mao Zedong,” dated May 16, 1966, [present compared to past]:

  1. “Our country is now in an upsurge of the great proletarian Cultural [Cancel Culture] Revolution which is pounding at all the decadent ideological and cultural positions still held by the bourgeoisie [white supremacists, Occupy Wall Street 1%ers] and the remnants of feudalism [capitalist slavery].”
  2. “Comrade Mao Zedong has often told us that the ideological struggle against the bourgeoisie is a protracted [8/2014, Michael Brown, Ferguson, MO riots; 4/2015, Freddie Gray, Baltimore riotsclass struggle which cannot be resolved by drawing hasty political conclusions.”
  3. “Just when we began the counter-offensive against the wild attacks of the bourgeoisie, the authors raised the slogan: ‘everyone is equal before the truth’[All Lives Matter]. This is a bourgeois slogan. Completely negating the class nature of truth, they use this slogan to protect the bourgeoisie and oppose the proletariat, oppose Marxism-Leninism, and oppose Mao Zedong’s thought.”
  4. “Chairman Mao often says that there is no construction without destruction. Destruction means criticism and repudiation; it means revolution [’fundamentally transform America,’ ‘Don’t let a crisis go to waste’].  It involves reasoning things out, which is construction. Put destruction first [Defund the Police], and in the process you have construction. Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong’s thought, was founded and has constantly developed in the course of the struggle to destroy bourgeois ideology.”
  5. “Our country is now in an upsurge of the great proletarian Cultural[Cancel Culture] Revolution which is pounding at all the decadent ideological and cultural positions still held by the bourgeoisie, and the remnants of feudalism[slavery, inequitable wealth distribution].
  6. “The basic Marxist thesis is that all class struggles are political struggles.”

America’s Cancel Culture Movement

Which links into this document:

In May, 2007, the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) released a 92pp. report, dated 6 October 1967, entitled “Mao’s Cultural Revolution: Origin and Development,” that chronicles the early years (65-67) of China’s Cultural Revolution.

Its thesis was this:

“This working paper of the DD/I Special Research Staff is an attempt to reconstruct the history of China’s ‘great proletarian Cultural revolution.  It presents the thesis that China’s ‘cultural revolution’ is in reality a political revolution designed by Mao Zedong to test the entire apparatus of power (party, government and army) in Communist China and to purge it of all found guilty of opposing his leadership and his programs”

A similar effort to reconstruct the history of American is driving the current political revolution that is America’s Cancel Culture Movement, street-led by America’s Red Guards, who self-admittedly present a combined effort of two groups driven by Communist ideology. That make no effort to hide that bias.

Cancel Culture is no more about the death of George Floyd than Ferguson was about Michael Brown’s death, nor the riots in Baltimore were about the death of Freddie Gray—riots to which then Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake’s response meant she “Gave Those Who Wished to Destroy Space to Do That.”  She had the Baltimore PD stand-down. Likewise, Mao retrained his police.

The parallels between Mao’s Cultural Revolution and America’s Cancel Culture movement are not all hard-wired, but they do exist.

Mao used his Red Guards the same way the American Progressive Left is using today’s BLM/Antifa rioters

The 1967 CIA study concluded that the Cultural Revolution was the “final test of the loyalty and trustworthiness of his old ‘comrades-in-arms’…Mao apparently decided at this time to initiate a rectification-purge campaign of a new type—directed at ‘old comrades’ and ‘high-ranking cadres’ holding positions of authority, designed to make the Chinese party, the government apparatus, the military and ultimately the Chinese people once more responsive to his will…The time had come to initiate a massive rectification-purge of the Chinese Communist party as a whole, a purge more extensive and violent than any since the founding of the Chinese People’s Republic in 1949.”

Mao used his Red Guards the same way the American Progressive Left is using today’s BLM/Antifa rioters: To create chaos, disorder and destruction.

Quoting from the CIA 1967 study:

“The Red Guards were in certain respects well suited to discharge the most important task assigned them, that of serving as a combat force, as the army of Mao’s cultural revolution…The very same qualities—of pugnacity, naivete and fanaticism—of its youthful members, however, would soon split the Red Guard organization, gravely impairing its effectiveness as an instrument for purging the party.”

Today’s Democrats are using rioters more disciplined and manageable than were Mao’s. But they can go too far.

For example, the long ordeal in Seattle subsided, not because the Seattle Police Department was released to enforce the law. Not because of pressure from the Seattle citizenry to bring order. It subside only after protestors marched to Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan’s house.  That made Jenny mad. And Chad/Chop/Chaz was closed down.

Granted, the foundation of America’s Red Guards and the Cancel Culture Movement is not as easily traced as is the CCP’s sponsorship of Mao’s Cultural Revolution.

But, given the vitriol against the current American President. Given the animosity toward anyone who supports him. Given the Cancel Culture support from Blue State governors, attorney generals, and mayors. All, coincidentally, happening in the midst of a pandemic, on the cusp of a November General Election. When taken together, it suggests that this episode in American history was not planned, funded, and directed by the Knights of Columbus.

Revealing the Moral Bankruptcy of BLM

Revealing the Moral Bankruptcy of BLM

The blatant violence in a majority of cities in the United States in the wake of the murder of George Floyd was supposed to be the moral foundation for protesting the wrongful murder of George Floyd. But, this is an illusion. A horrible illusion. If all Black Lives Matter, where are the serious nationwide protests over the 20 million+ black babies that have been killed since the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court decision? There is no one in the Black Lives Matter terrorist organization that has even uttered any credible concern over the genocide of aborting black babies. Likely, they would not because both Black Lives Matter and Planned Parenthood are funded heavily by George Soros, and even an evil house divided cannot stand. But, this is an absolutely blatant hypocrisy and it demonstrates zero moral integrity.

If all black lives do not matter to Black Lives Matter members and supporters (yes supporters, as in those corporations that donate to BLM) then the name is as fake as the cause. It is quite possible to justify a lie by stating that the opposition to your cause is “conservative,” or “white hate speech,” or “corrupt white privilege advocates,” or “Nazis,” or whatever the buzz words may be that are designed to initiate an emotional distrust, or outright hatred of the “opposition.” It is not actually a justification of the lie, but rather a justification for lying by marginalizing one’s opponents—clever communist tactic. If all black lives, or all lives do truly matter, why leave anyone out? If all black lives do not matter to Black Lives Matter members, the name is as   fake as the “cause.”

Additionally, at the beginning of this month, the nation celebrated the Independence Day holiday, but there was a killing spree of young people, black and white, over that weekend because in many cities across the nation, the police had their hands tied by their autocratic Democrat Overlords. Where were the serious widespread protests over the 10 innocents who lost their lives then? Will four year old Carson Walker be remembered? He was four years old! The suspect in the shooting on July 4th is a young black man. Because a black baby lost his life, it does not matter. Because the alleged shooter was black? The silence from BLM is overwhelming!

Who went to the BLM protest over the killing of six-year-old Jace Young of San Francisco, California? No one went to such a protest because there was none. That did not fit into the narrative that Black Lives Matter when a black man happens to be killed by a white police officer. There is no moral consistency here. Jace Young was six! He was shot in an act of senseless violence while watching a fireworks display in a Bayview neighborhood. Local   media carried the story and quoted his dad, Jason Young, in an interview after the killing: “Y’all don’t understand how hard it is in this city, how hard it is in these Black communities to have to get up and have to pick one of your loved ones up and pick your families up after this stuff happens to your family…

“This ain’t right,” he said. “My son was different. My son was different. He was going to be somebody.”

According to his aunt Ayofemi Bryant, “He was the most perfect child. He was so sweet. He loved to read. He loved computers. He just loved learning.”

Of course, the lame mayor of San Francisco, London Breed, took the opportunity to speak of the incident and had the audacity to mention BLM during the efforts the family made to seek justice over the death of their innocent little boy. Breed questioned: “Where is the outrage? If this boy was not Black, it would’ve been a whole other story. Let’s remember that when we talk about Black Lives Matter, this boy’s life mattered,”  .

Indeed, where was the outrage expressed from representatives of BLM at this public forum? There was no representative, no chants, no marches, no violence on Jace Young’s behalf.

Yet, Mayor Breed became dramatic at the event: “No more funerals, no more death, no more destruction in the Black community. We have a chance to do something different.”

Yet, the “doing something different” is the BLM answer: defund the police. And, recently in mid-July, Mayor London Breed has called for partially defunding the San Francisco Police Department (SFPD) and reinvesting the money back into San Francisco’s Black community. She intends to replace SFPD officers with unarmed trained “professionals.” Insanity runs like a virus through the Democrat Party. It is unlikely masks will help. This is another demonstration of a genuine absence of morality when politics devolves into a blind mantra devoid of good common sense.

How many thousands attended the BLM protests for seven-year—old Natalie Wallace, who was fatally shot in the head on July 4th? The answer is that BLM members have probably no idea   of who this little girl was—nor does it matter to them. She was not killed by a white policeman. She was another innocent victim of a senseless shooting in Chicago over the July 4th weekend. The reports were that Natalie was simply standing on the sidewalk outside her grandmother’s home when the murder suspects got out of a car and just started shooting.

Where’s the moral outrage over this senseless murder? Yet, defunding the police is the answer from the BLM terrorist gangs.

Another damning horror story involving BLM and their intolerance of those who question their mantra or their morality is the incident in which a 24-year-old mother of a young child was shot in the head on July 5th in Indiana. Jessica Doty Whitaker was shot dead in Indianapolis simply because she had the audacity to stand up to BLM supporters and claim that “all lives matter.” So, where was the outrage from the white community? Where were the marches? Where were the protestors in Indianapolis, or in any cities across America because of such a senseless murder? No White Lives Matter movement? No. Conservatives and Christians don’t rampage through city streets, destroying other people’s property, or tearing down statues of Malcom X,  or killing people senselessly.

Americans are being bullied – Americans of all skin colors are being intimidated by BLM bullies. They will get in your face, they will get nasty and insult you, they will harass you, they will march and protest, but not peacefully, they will permit the anarchists and the looters to run wild through the city streets. They will allow, will inspire, or will perpetrate indiscriminate violence, no matter who gets in their way. This is immoral, no matter what lame excuse or defense can be offered to protect them. BLM is simply a name. BLM portrays itself as one thing, but they are entirely not what they portray themselves to be – even defenders of Black lives would be worth it. But, their leaders do not demonstrate that all Black lives matter. It is a fake name and a fake cause.

The real radical was Jessica Doty Whitaker. Whitaker had the audacity to exercise her God- given freedom of speech. In a highly symbolic act, she gave her life to reveal the rest of us the genuine moral bankruptcy of BLM. She is a true martyr in the fight to hold onto our God-given freedoms.  Jessica Whitaker was absolutely right. All lives matter – always!
