Republican Voters Take Lead in Critical Miami-Dade Early Vote, Current Trend Looks Ominous for Democrats in Florida

Posted originally on the conservative tree house November 4, 2022 | Sundance

Miami-Dade County has long been the stronghold of Democrat voters in Florida.  With more than 1.5 million registered voters in the county Miami-Dade has long been the backstop for Democrats in Florida.  With deep red areas in the Southwest coast and Florida panhandle area, the axiom has long been said: ‘lose Miami-Dade and Democrats lose Florida’.

That said, incredibly Republicans in Miami-Dade are outvoting Democrats. [DATA HERE] This is happening despite the recent visit by Joe Biden to Miami to generate support for the blue ticket.  With President Trump being the most supported political figure in the region; and with President Trump bringing the final finishing nails this weekend for a rally in Miami-Dade on behalf of the republican ticket, Democrats are apoplectic.

FLORIDA – […] “This is not what we expected,” said Christine Alexandria Olivio, the Democratic House candidate in Florida’s 26th Congressional District in South Florida. “This is worse than what we expected. We’re getting our butts kicked right now.” She was running against Republican Rep. Mario Díaz-Balart, the longest-serving member of Congress in Florida.

Registered Democrats still outnumbered Republicans in Miami-Dade, but the latest figures indicated Democrats – at least so far – were voting in far fewer numbers than their GOP counterparts.

The swing toward higher Republican turnout in the county – with just one week before the election – was widely interpreted as a sign of support among the area’s Hispanic voters for incumbent Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis – and a lack of enthusiasm for his Democratic challenger, Rep. Charlie Crist. The county is nearly 72% Hispanic.

[…]  “The average citizen has woken up and has had enough of this nonsense,” Alina Garcia, the Republican candidate for a state House seat in Miami, wrote in an email. “That’s why you’re going to see Republicans outperform Democrats in such high numbers. That’s why you’ll see our proactive and highly effective governor get re-elected and, quite frankly, possibly win in Miami-Dade County.”

There were also signs of trouble for Democrats elsewhere: Republican turnout also had surpassed Democrats in the counties of Duval, home to Jacksonville, and Seminole, northeast of Orlando. GOP turnout was also unexpectedly high – but still behind Democratic voting – in Hillsborough County, home to Tampa.

In Pinellas County, west of Tampa, Republican turnout also was high compared to Democrats. The county is home to Crist’s seat in Congress.

The political climate might become even more dire for Democrats on Election Day: In previous elections, Democrats have traditionally voted early, with Republicans – who have eschewed voting by mail as unreliable – showing their highest turnouts on Election Day. It wasn’t clear why that pattern looks different so far this year, but the figures showed Republicans appear more comfortable casting ballots by mail.

There were signs of a Republican surge in South Florida in earlier elections. (more)

This shift within Miami-Dade is specifically attributable to Donald Trump and the America First MAGA agenda that resonates with working class people across all backgrounds.  The economics of the MAGA platform cuts through all social distinctions and generates a massive block of voters who understand how the Trump domestic economic platform has a positive impact on the lives of working-class Americans.

The MAGA movement has flipped the political dynamic.  The economics of the America First agenda unites everyone.

Making America Great Again benefits every working-class voter.

If there is going to be a red wave next week, the Tsunami will begin from the earthquake results in Florida politics.

No COVID Amnesty

Armstrong Economics Blog/Corruption Re-Posted Nov 3, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

The Atlantic wrote a piece about declaring pandemic amnesty. “We need to forgive one another for what we did and said when we were in the dark about COVID,” Emily Oster wrote. I will not forgive what was done and the permanent damage the COVID zealots caused to the global economy. This was not a simple misunderstanding – it was a deliberate plot to crush the economy and hand all power over to governments.

This goes for the right and left, although the right finally saw that what they were doing was wrong. Trump failed us by implementing Operation Warpspeed and distributing mass vaccines that were not properly tested. Big Pharma was granted full immunity because they knew the vaccines could present issues down the line. America had a strong economy before COVID lockdowns caused mass layoffs, supply shortages, and simply halted life as we once knew it.

Other countries had more severe restrictions, and many felt the need to flee their home country to avoid tyranny. I do not forgive the politicians who forced the masses to take a vaccine against their will simply to participate in society. The unvaccinated were demonized by the politicians who led the masses to believe that COVID was “a pandemic of the unvaccinated,” when that was a blatant lie. Those same politicians frequently broke their own rules because they knew they were baseless. I do not forgive the health agencies who promoted a false agenda and changed definitions and rules at whim. They forced us to cover our faces to simply walk outside despite knowing that masks did not work. I do not forgive the media who fueled the hysteria and banished anyone who questioned “the science.” The fear that spread across the globe was unwarranted.

There should be a trial to discover what actually happened in 2020. The virus’ origins remain a mystery, although it is widely accepted that it did not come about naturally. Children fell behind in school, small businesses closed forever, countless people lost their livelihoods, and mental health issues became more apparent. People were forced into quarantine camps like prisoners in some countries, while others diminished people to their QR codes that restricted their freedom of movement. People DIED.

Despite our current knowledge, governments have refused to let go of the emergency powers granted to them under COVID. How could they ask for forgiveness when this madness is ongoing?

Leftist Professor Writing for Atlantic Magazine Wants to Let Bygones be Bygones and Accept a “Pandemic Amnesty” – Sorry, Not Happening

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on October 31, 2022 | sundance

Brown University Professor Emily Oster, writing for The Atlantic wants to heal divisions created during the COVID-19 pandemic, let bygones be bygones and accept a pandemic amnesty; now that the nonsense covid positions of the professional left are shown to have been built upon lies, falsehoods and social manipulation….

{Read Article Here}

…. Sorry, not happening.

The professional political leftists are starting to rebrand themselves as having fallen victim to the “bureaucracy of COVID”, and according to those high-minded people who think very highly of themselves, we are supposed to embrace this new enlightenment from the same people who were demanding our acquiescence to their dictates and sneering at those who did not comply.

This example of “THE AWAKENING” from Brown University Professor Emily Oster is supposed to be something I am told to appreciate.  Fat chance.

I/We are expected to appreciate the same people who demanded our acquiescence to every policy that was created by their ridiculous fear, simply because they now admit ‘oops, my bad‘?   Sorry, not happening.

For two years they shoved their intolerant fingers in our faces, destroyed lives and livelihoods, made ridiculous demands in order to sustain their own fear, threatened our children, destroyed the economy, used COVID as an excuse to destroy families and steal an election, attempted to force us to kneel at the altar of their mask wearing and never-ending vaccine crap, took our jobs if we refused their mandates… and we’re just supposed to what, forgive them?

I want, heck, need, to see these people destroyed with the heat of a thousand supernovas.

The vulgar lies and verbal filth have been extreme for two years as these ideological parasites utilized their microphones and typeset in a brutal attempt to tear down our nation.   We have all been witness.  Anyone trying to convince us this assembly of our union is not tenuous might want to revisit their proximity to reason, because they’re not just out of the city – they’re also out of the same state the ballpark is located in.

David Mamet had a famous saying, I repeat it often because it helps people break the cycle of abuse.   Essentially: …‘in order for democrats, liberals, progressives et al to continue their illogical belief systems they have to pretend not to know a lot of things’

By pretending ‘not to know’, the professional left carries no guilt, no actual connection to conscience.  Denial of truth allows easier trespass, and that is exactly what Professor Emily Oster is attempting in that article.

This hate-filled Democrat, leftist and social ideology relies on our willingness to reconcile their presentations and grant benefit within their seeds of doubt.

Sorry, forgiveness is for the next generation….

We need to destroy those who carried out this abuse.

Our parents were forced to die alone in isolation while we were forbidden from holding their hand or being with them.

Thousands never had the opportunity to say goodbye.

We know exactly what the covenant of marriage is all about; and it has nothing to do with being forced to stand outside hospitals, screaming in unbearable choking anguish, while our wives and husbands took their last breaths…. ALONE!

You want forgiveness for that?

I do not possess that capacity.

I refuse to give any “coming to the right side” credit to the vile, intolerant, hate-filled and insane leftists who demanded all the totalitarian bulls**t they now accept as futile nonsense. Professor Oster et al should be shunned, mocked and cast into the pit of irrelevance.

Additionally, the high-minded, reach-across-the-aisle crew can continue bleating philosophically about how we must grow our ranks by accepting the newly found recalcitrance of those who have carried out this nonsense.  However, the constant granting of benefit to those who abuse us is the epitome of battered conservative syndrome.

You cull a herd for a reason.

You do not demand the herd lower its genetic strength to accommodate the weakest denominator.

Professional apologists for the right wing of the UniParty can keep trying to make the big government vulture a better sandwich in the hopes that eventually it will stop abusing us.  Meanwhile, prudent people, those slow to anger but resolute upon arrival, accept the leftists and Democrats for who they are, toxic abusers’ intent on destroying the liberty and freedom the aisle-reachers claim to cherish.

The professional political left would like nothing more than their victims to be comfortable forgiving them for their openly hostile attacks. Within that dynamic, the abuser is free to repeat the cycle, and make no mistake – they will repeat the cycle, eventually.

Actions have consequences.  We are not fast to the sentiment of hate; we know the damage that sensibility can create within oneself.  However, eventually, reluctantly, decisions are reached.

Those who perpetrated two years of hell need to be held to account, and unfortunately, this type of accountability is so severe in consequence there can be no quarter provided or terms which might provide even the most remote possibility of a reoccurrence.

It is uncomfortable to accept that our response needs to be of such severity that our children will be witness to a visible anger they did not know their parents were capable of.  But witness they must if we are to ensure these vile and intolerant leftist creatures are destroyed forever.

I would rather provide the opportunity for my children to forgive me, than to see them forever living in a hopeless land of totalitarianism where freedom and liberty have been dispatched from their lives.  At least in the former their choice is possible.

The professional political left must be destroyed with extreme prejudice.

A shield, or cry of micro-aggression should be given no benefit, nor quarter. Delicate sensibilities must be dispatched like a feather in a hurricane.

Americans are still tolerant and patient people, the most compassionate and generous people in the history of all mankind, but we are also very purposeful.

The professional political left could have stopped with us, but they did not.  Instead, they came for our children.

You see Ms. Oster, when pushed far enough, hard decisions are reached…

…And they have pushed us much further than simply ‘far enough‘.

Thoughtful Monologue, Tucker Carlson Discusses the Potential Impact of a Free Speech Twitter

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on October 29, 2022 | Sundance

Tucker Carlson used his opening monologue Friday evening to outline his perspective on the Elon Musk takeover of the social media platform Twitter.   Generally, Carlson does a good job framing the big picture of national events; however, Carlson outdid himself on this contextualized delivery.

While the underlying premise of Carlson’s position is structured on a yet-to-be-seen possibility of free speech, the context for the importance of the moment is very well presented.  I hope that Tucker Carlson is correct in regard to the altruistic intent of Mr. Musk.  Well worth watching:

Carlson’s monologue reminded me of Oleg’s brilliant take on this moment in history (picture below):

President Trump Will Not Return to Twitter, While Elon Musk Says Content Decisions Will Be Made By “Moderation Council”

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on October 28, 2022 | Sundance

Earlier today President Trump noted he would not be returning to the Twitter social media platform; he likes Truth Social better:

(Source)

Additionally, with a great deal of interest in what will happen to the Twitter platform, Mr. Elon Musk has announced a diverse moderation council will be created to make content rules and guidelines.  Following up with a reply, “we have not yet made any changes to Twitter’s content moderation policies.”

(Source)

There is a great deal of interest in the outcome of the purchase of Twitter.  However, it is worth tempering any expectations and taking a wait and see approach.

Is Musk independent?  Does anyone really know?

From what my own research indicates, and assuming Mr Musk is entirely independent minded, I think it may take any “independent” Musk team quite a while to find out exactly what the internal networks of Twitter are all about.

My guess is, there are background connections in the Twitter code [compatibility datasets to align with other (shadow?) networks] that will take a long time to unravel.

I stand by my original inclination:  Twitter is to the U.S. Govt, what TikTok is to China.
