President Trump Pleads Not Guilty and Waives Arraignment Appearance

Smart move by President Trump not to appear in court today thereby starving the media of oxygen to push the anti-Trump narrative. ‘I do hereby freely and voluntarily waive my right to be present at my arraignment on the Indictment and my right to have it read to me in open court,’ he said in a filing submitted by his local attorney.

Strategically, it was also a brilliant counter-Lawfare move as it removes the power of corrupt DA Fani Willis to grandstand from the courtroom holding the appearance of Trump in Atlanta, GA, as a trophy for her tribe.  Remember, Lawfare is a construct for media consumption intended to manipulate public opinion.

The more you starve the Lawfare operatives of the oxygen they need, the stronger your offense against their schemes.

(Via Politico) – Donald Trump has pleaded not guilty to charges that he conspired to subvert the 2020 election in Georgia, formally signaling his intent to fight the charges in the sprawling racketeering case brought by Fulton County prosecutors.

Trump entered his plea Thursday in a two-page court filing meant to waive his appearance at an arraignment scheduled for Sept. 6, when he was slated to have the charges read to him in court. Several of the 18 defendants charged alongside him have also waived their appearances at the scheduled arraignment. (read more)

We are living in an era that requires strategic thinking, not emotion.

Alinsky methods, like Lawfare, are designed to target your emotional and psychological response system.  If you struggle with the emotions of anger and frustration, take a walk, get your emotional self under control, then you can return with a cold, deliberate and calculated response.  This is not easy; it takes mental discipline.

Make the enemy eat up their mental and emotional space with thoughts and “what if’s” about you.  Meanwhile, you stay frosty and clear-headed.

Georgia Gov Brian Kemp Organizes Billionaire Bush Clan on Sea Island to Plot State for DeSantis, While GA Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger Meets With Zuckerberg CEIR Election Manipulation Group

The Bush clan is always in the background, like the stench of a rotting whale carcass just over the horizon.

With Georgia on their mind for 2024, Governor Brian Kemp hosts a stop Trump confab at their infamous and preferred Sea Island retreat.  Meanwhile, thanks to the intrepid boots-on-ground reporting of Laura Loomer, we discover that Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger is meeting with Zuckerberg’s far-left Center for Election Innovation & Research (CEIR), in Washington DC.

Why would state election officials be meeting with far-left election manipulation groups.  Well, put those two datapoints together, and once again the strings on the election official marionettes start glowing.  As we have said from the outset of the DeSantis construct in early 2022, watch the Republican Governor’s Association (RGA) closely.

We are about to see exactly how the billionaire corporate funders control the Red State operations and manufacture the ‘illusion of choice‘.  The difference between now and the Romney era of 2012, through the Bush era of 2016, is that the American electorate are eyes-wide-open.  We are watching the assembly in real time, and once again at CTH we have no financial affiliation to influence our sunlight.  The gang might be getting back together, but The Truth Has No Agenda.

GEORGIA – […] Kemp gathered donors this week for a three-day retreat on Sea Island, Georgia, to plan for the 2024 campaign with a focus on the specific role of Georgia, a vital state for Republicans if they have any hope of winning the White House. According to a source familiar with the retreat, the event raised $1.2 million for Kemp’s committees.

The retreat comes as former President Donald Trump leads in the polls among 2024 GOP presidential candidates, with Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in second — but trailing — as he prepares to announce his campaign.

Kemp’s activities around 2024 raise his national profile and position him to be part of the mix for a gubernatorial alternative for president should DeSantis stumble. At the least, it positions him for a possible Senate run in 2026, since he will be barred from running for governor again because of state term limits.

Kemp’s private retreat featured a long list of Republican operatives and leaders who gave presentations on a wide range of topics connected to the next election. Speakers included former House Speaker John Boehner of Ohio; Karl Rove, former senior adviser to President George W. Bush; and former Sen. Kelly Loeffler of Georgia.

During his remarks to the group, Kemp outlined what he believes the eventual GOP nominee must focus on for the party to be successful in 2024.

“First, we have to tell voters what we’re for. Second, focus on the future. And third, we have to be able to win a general election. Because we can’t score points if we don’t have the ball,” Kemp said, according to the source familiar with the retreat.

Kemp never mentioned Trump by name, but he warned Republicans that it will be difficult to win back the White House if the party continues to relitigate the 2020 election. He also has repeatedly said that electability should be a priority for GOP primary voters.

After the 2020 election, Trump was angry that Kemp did not do more to challenge the presidential results in Georgia, so much so that he recruited former Sen. David Perdue to challenge Kemp in the Republican primary for governor in 2022. Kemp soundly defeated Perdue, and then Stacey Abrams, to win re-election.

The retreat was put on by Kemp’s Hardworking Americans Inc., a federal super PAC he launched shortly after winning re-election last fall, and Georgia First Leadership Committee, his state leadership PAC.  (read more)

A fireside chat Sunday night to kick off the retreat between Kemp and Boehner. A panel moderated by conservative radio host Erick Erickson, featuring Rove and conservative pollster Brent Buchanan. A discussion with Kemp’s data guru Mark Stephenson. A policy discussion focused on national security and the global economy with a specific emphasis on China led by Loeffler […] joined on the panel by former Deputy Assistant Secretary of State David Feith and Club for Growth favorite Dave McCormick (PA).

Sunday Talks, Trump Lawyers Discuss Fiasco of Georgia Grand Jury and Foreperson Media Tour

Posted originally on the CTH on February 26, 2023 | Sundance

The first time I saw Ms. Emily Kohrs doing her gleeful and bizarre interview with MSNBC, the first thing that came to mind was Isaiah 54:17: “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you.”  Indeed, a providence again visible as a shield over Donald J Trump.  Yes, this is a spiritual battle.

On CBS Face the Nation today, Trump attorney’s Drew Findling and Jennifer Little discuss the media tour by Georgia special grand jury foreperson Emily Kohrs, and how the background of the prosecution itself became visible in the overly ambitious statements from Ms Kohrs.  WATCH:

[Transcript] –  MARGARET BRENNAN: The investigation of former President Trump in Fulton County, Georgia, took a strange turn last week. And Mr. Trump’s lawyers now argue it could impact a possible trial. At the center of the controversy, Emily Kohrs, the forewoman for the special grand jury that investigated alleged election interference in Georgia by Trump and his allies. Kohrs gave several interviews in which she hinted that more than a dozen key players, perhaps even the former president, might have been recommended for indictments.

Now, special grand juries can’t indict, but that recommendation could prompt the district attorney to create a criminal grand jury. The judge overseeing the case told CNN last week that although the deliberations are confidential, quote, what witnesses said, what you put in the report, those are not off limits to those on the jury.

The attorneys for President Trump in the Georgia case had not given an interview to any TV network, but the Kohrs media tour prompted them to talk to our Robert Costa.

EMILY KOHRS, FOREWOMAN FOR THE SPECIAL GRAND JURY: I kind of wanted to subpoena the former president because I got to swear everybody in. And so I thought it would be really cool to get 60 seconds with President Trump.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Did you recommend charges against Donald Trump?

EMILY KOHRS: I really don’t want to share something that the judge made a conscious decision not to share.

ROBERT COSTA (voice over): Could Emily Kohrs’ public disclosures jeopardize the case that could be brought by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis? Kohrs is part of a special purpose grand jury that heard months of testimony from more than 75 witnesses about alleged Republican efforts to pressure state officials, like Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger to overturn President Biden’s victory in Georgia.

DONALD TRUMP (Former U.S. President): Look, Brad, I’ve got to get — I have to find 12,000 votes, and I have them.

ROBERT COSTA: Kohrs suggested the special grand jury submitted a report to Willis last month that recommended multiple indictments on a range of charges. But Willis has yet to decide whether or not to convene a criminal grand jury that could issue indictment against some Trump allies and even the former president himself.

Drew Findley and Jennifer Little head up the former president’s legal team in the Georgia case. They say that Emily Kohrs’ media tour has tainted any attempt by District Attorney Willis to move toward charging Trump.

ROBERT COSTA (on camera): What are your options?

DREW FINDLING (Defense Attorney, Former President Trump): Are the results of that special purpose grand jury to be crumbled up like a piece of paper and thrown into a waste paper basket? Our options are, can this district attorney’s office continue to be part of this case? We have to legally research all of those issues.

ROBERT COSTA: Have you lost confidence in the district attorney?

DREW FINDLING: We’ve lost 100 percent confidence in this process. We feel this process has been compromised.

ROBERT COSTA (voice over): Emily Kohrs, they say, is not to blame.

DREW FINDLING: This 30-year-old foreperson to us has actually provided us a lens and made us aware that every suspicion we had as to this questionable process was, in fact, a reality.

ROBERT COSTA (on camera): But she didn’t break any rules, though, right? She may have break – broken a norm, but the grand jury was over by the time she went on this media tour, as you put it.

DREW FINDLING: Yes.

ROBERT COSTA: So, what did she do wrong, in your view, legally?

DREW FINDLING: We have no chagrin towards this foreperson. And it looks like they lost perspective over keeping separation between prosecuting attorneys and the members of this grand jury. There cannot be a relationship. When the foreperson uses the word “we,” that lets you know there’s a relationship there. When she says in interviews certain battles were not worth us battling, it’s not the special purpose grand jury that’s litigating, it’s the district attorney’s office.

ROBERT COSTA: She said, it wouldn’t be worth the battle they decided to call your client in, former President Trump in as a witness. That’s the public statement she made.

DREW FINDLING: And – and – right. And – and who knows what that is based on.

ROBERT COSTA: He wasn’t called in the special grand jury part of this investigation. Did that surprise you? And if he was called, would you have fought that subpoena?

JENNIFER LITTLE (Defense Attorney, Former President Trump): I’m not going to speak to what our legal decisions would have been. But it was surprising. And particularly once we heard the reasons why he wasn’t called, when we had our foreperson of this grand jury speaking about how excited and cool it would have been to be able to look at Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, for 60 seconds, but that they just determined that given the resources and the other witnesses that they had heard of, that they just didn’t need to have any more evidence at that point. It’s concerning that that was the level of diligence that was shown in that decision. And it was surprising, frankly.

ROBERT COSTA (voice over): If former President Trump is indicted, Willis can certainly expect a legal battle from Trump’s lawyers.

JENNIFER LITTLE: We absolutely do not believe that our client did anything wrong. And if any indictments were to come down, those are faulty indictments, we will absolutely fight anything tooth and nail.

ROBERT COSTA: Willis and the district attorney’s office declined to comment.

For FACE THE NATION, Robert Costa, Atlanta.

Will Putin Step Down in 2023?

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Dec 26, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

We have a very serious problem. Former Chancellor Merkel has openly stated that there was NEVER any intention to carry out the Minsk Agreement and that not only condemned the people of the Donbas to war, loss of their religion, and the tyranny of Kiev, but they were using them for bait to deliberately force Putin to invade to start a war with Russia. Congressman  Adam Kinzinger just came out and said that NATO could destroy Russia in three days. The real danger here is that Merkel, and also the former president of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, have both publicly stated that they played Putin for a fool. In 2023, we are entering a very critical time period where Putin may step down during January, or April/May 2023 and then the Neocons will take the reigns of power and they will not be so soft.

What is so dangerous is that this not only demonstrates to China that the West cannot be trusted in making any agreements whatsoever, but that the Russian neocons have been put on notice that the intention of NATO is to wipe Russia off the face of the earth. They DELIBERATELY blew up the Nordstream pipeline showing that this is a long-term objective to crush the Russian economy. Our world leaders WANT WAR and they are the aggressor – not Russia. They deliberately had the Vice President at the Munich Conference state that Ukraine should join NATO. Then on February 23rd, 2022, one day before Putin made his move, Zelensky came out and said Ukraine wanted to rearm itself with nuclear weapons.

Anyone who cannot see what is taking place here is blind. The West NEEDS war to terminate the monetary system as it stands today. They are looking for a war with Russia and China so they can call Bretton Woods II and craft their digital currency managed by the IMF and install their one-world government administered by the United Nations. We will completely lose all freedom and any right to vote whatsoever. Keep in mind that in ALL parliamentary systems, the people never vote for who shall be the head of state. That is unique to the United States. They want to eliminate that ability, Our computer has been warning that we will soon end the right of Americans to vote for a President.

In June 2022, former president  Petro Poroshenko said in an interview with several Western media outlets, including Deutsche Welle, publicly admitted that there had never been any question of implementing the Minsk agreements and that they had only been intended to give Ukraine time. He said:

We got what we wanted. We did not believe Putin, just as we do not believe him now. Our task was, first of all, to remove the threat, or at least to delay the war. We gave ourselves eight years to restore economic growth and build up the strength of the armed forces. That was the first task – and it was accomplished […]. Despite the fact that the war lasted eight years – as far as a large-scale military operation is concerned, I think the Minsk agreements have fulfilled their role.”

Interestingly, the former German Chancellor Angela Merkel said exactly the same thing, on December 7th, 2022, curiously, the very anniversary of Pearl Harbor – Sunday, December 7, 1941. The real question here is that it certainly appears that they negotiated in bad faith and played Putin for a fool. That is highly dangerous now In her interview with the Zeit

Angela Merkel - Accords de Minsk

Merkel stated very clearly: I considered the 2008 discussion on the membership of Ukraine and Georgia in NATO to be a mistake. These countries did not have the necessary conditions for it, and the consequences of such a decision had not been fully considered, both in terms of Russia’s actions against Georgia and Ukraine and for NATO and its rules of assistance. And the 2014 Minsk agreements were an attempt to give Ukraine time.”

Suite interview Angela Merkel

She continued saying: We all knew that this was a frozen conflict, that the problem was not solved, but this is precisely what gave Ukraine precious time.”

If You Wonder What’s Wrong With Georgia – The Republican Lt Governor Appears on CNN to Tell Georgia Republicans Not to Vote for Hershel Walker

Posted originally on the CTH on December 1, 2022 | Sundance

People around the country are looking at the Georgia Senate runoff between Democrat Raphael Warnock and Republican Hershel Walker.  Lots of people wondering what is going on.  Well, last night the Republican Party of Georgia gave an excellent example of what it means to be Republican in Georgia.

Republican Lieutenant Governor Geoff Duncan appeared on CNN to share his opinion of Republican candidate Hershel Walker.  As Republican Duncan outlined during the interview, he stood in line for an hour, took a ballot at the polling location, and then decided he could just not vote for a Republican in Georgia, so he turned around and walked back out without voting.

Republican Geoff Duncan had no issue pushing this on CNN much to the smiles of the CNN producers, Democrats and the Warnock campaign.  This is what it means to be a Republican in Georgia.  WATCH (01:08 prompted 30 seconds)

.

The 2022 goal of the Republican Party of Georgia is in alignment with the 2022 Republican National Committee.   The goal of Mr. Duncan and others is to remove the populist movement within the RNC by destroying the Make America Great Again grassroots movement.

Was Duncan censured? No.  Was Duncan criticized by fellow Republicans? Again, no.   Was Duncan ostracized for promoting an election position against the interests of the Republican Party? Yet again, no.  Did RNC Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel rebuke the effort to undermine Walker as carried out by Republican Geoff Duncan?  Rhetorical at this point, I know.

In the bigger or big pictures, Republican Lt Governor Geoff Duncan is doing what professional Republicans do.  He also knows there’s nothing to fear from it because he is operating on behalf of the majority Club interests who support his agenda.  However, somehow this will be President Trump’s fault.
