President Trump Attorney Michael van der Veen Discusses Trump Acquittal

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 14, 2021 by Sundance

The Senate voted Saturday to acquit former President Donald Trump on a ridiculous charge of inciting a January 6th insurrection at the DC Capitol. Following the vote, defense attorney Michael van der Veen joined Fox News to give his accounting:

A Message From President Trump After Senate Impeachment Acquittal – “Our Movement Has Only Just Begun”…

The following message is from the office of President Donald Trump:

Should Trump Run Again?

Armstrong Ecomics Blog/Opinion Re-Posted Feb 11, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: Ok, so do you think Trump should run again if he is not convicted?

JS

ANSWER: They have attacked Trump from every possible angle. They have gone after his tax returns. If someone commits murder, do you treat the lawyer as a murderer? In politics, they attack Trump, the messenger, and never address the anti-establishment movement nor the swamp. They are trying to stop the trial for murder by attacking the lawyer.

Unfortunately, this is how politics works. They could care less about the people who voted for Trump or why. They just need to take Trump down and from their perspective, they have silenced the movement. That is precisely anti-democracy – kill the messenger and avoid the message.

If we have someone else to stand up they would have to then attack them personally. People have often asked why I declined to take the Chief Economic Adviser position in the White House. They would have torn my background apart and asked how could I advise foreign automakers against America turning that into some treasonous activity.  They will always attack the person, not the qualifications or the issue at hand. Just look at the last Supreme Court nomination. You had Diane Feinstein rejecting her because she was Catholic and assumed she would vote against abortion.

Washington is always about to kill the messenger. I have no hope in politics as it has become just so dishonest. Unfortunately, like the Roman Republic, the corruption is just so pervasive, there is no saving it.

That was Gauis Julius Caesar’s mistake. He granted clemency to his opponents trying to rebuild the Republic but they assassinated him the first chance they got. We are at the same point. Trump crossed the Rubicon. This is his political assassination. That leaves someone else to rally the troops.

Now we await someone to say:Friends, Romans, countrymen, lend me your ears;I come to bury Trump, not to praise him.The evil that men do lives after them; The good is oft interred with their bones; So let it be with Trump. The noble Pelosi, Schumer, and McConnellHath told you Trump was ambitious:If it were so, it was a grievous fault,And grievously hath Trump answer’d it.Here, under leave of Pelosi and the rest–For Pelosi an honourable speaker; So are they all, all honourable?–Come I to speak in Trump’s funeral. He was my friend, faithful and just to me:But Pelosi says he was ambitious; And Pelosi is an honourable speaker. She hath brought many illegal aliens home to AmericaDid this in Trump seem ambitious? When that the poor have cried, Trump hath wept:Ambition should be made of sterner stuff:Yet Pelosi says he was ambitious; And Pelosi is an honourable speaker. You all seen he received more votes than any incumbentand no court would ever simply rule on any evidence,Yet Trump objected and they called this treason and ambition?Yet Pelosi says he was ambitious; And, sure, she is an honourable speaker.I speak not to disprove what Pelosi spoke,But here I am to speak what I do know. You all did love him once, not without cause:What cause withholds you then, to mourn for him?O judgment! thou art fled to brutish beasts,And men have lost their reason. Bear with me;My heart is in the coffin there with Trump,And I must pause till it come back to me.

Was Trump the Right Person?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Opinion Re-Posted Feb 11, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: Do you think Trump is the right person to lead the charge against the swamp?

FM

ANSWER: The one qualification Trump had was a thick skin. They have so attacked him from every possible angle it is hard to separate the real issues from Trump the person. So if Trump tried to run again, it would be all about him and not the Swamp. Corruption has won this battle. I seriously doubt there will be any fair election in the future so I am not sure anyone can win any election to drain the swamp.

I really wish someone would step up. Right now, I do not see anyone who I would say is qualified to really lead such a charge. These people have lied about everything from this virus to the real laughable flip is they conspired to save democracy by ending Trump’s reign of terror, as they paint it. That is a real joke. This is all about the Great Reset and Trump stood in the way. Schwab has all of Europe in his pocket and now he has his strings into the White House. Then you have Thomas Picketty calling on Europe to default like the French Revolution and then start over issuing new debt all over again with no conception of wiping out everyone’s pension! (newspaper Le Monde, “1789-2019, the return of debt”, (in french) )

There is no democracy. We have a republic dominated by oligarchs. Trump had no idea of what he was up against. I am not sure I see anyone out there to lead a real charge. I fear the only solution will be an armed uprising which is why they are going after all guns.

Biden is turning the USA back to a war footing. He sent troops to Syria and ordered building a base.

Superbowl & Florida – Thank God!

Armstrong Economics Blog/Disease Re-Posted Feb 9, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

People have written in to ask how was the Super Bowl. In Florida, we are EXTREMELY lucky to have a republican governor DeSantis who has saved the state from the draconian antics of the Democratic States. He allowed us to hold our World Economic Conference and we did not have to wear masks in the room or at the cocktail party. I did not get COVID nor did any of my staff. Florida has beat every state that lockdown, destroyed the businesses, wiping out culture that will never return to New York City. Our death rate was less than in New York and we did not have a governor who ordered COVID patients to be sent into nursing homes killing untold seniors, and then Governor Cuomo bans prosecuting nursing homes for killing family members while others have tried to sue him for abuse of power. Cuomo has tried to hide the deaths he caused by ordering COVID patients should be taken into nursing homes. The number of deaths may be underreported by as much as 50%. It is amazing Cuomo is not dragged out of office by his feet. I am so glad I moved to Florida.

The crazy anti-freedom press and Democratic states point out the governor had no mask. He said how was he supposed to have a beer? Nobody in the press will dare investigate if masks do anything. The box I bought states clearly it will NOT prevent any disease. So what all of this nonsense?

One email said of the vaccines prove to be lethal after a year in the next viral season, it will reduce the population of the progressives and at least make Gates’ day until he realizes he exterminated the sheep. I had a routine visit to a doctor yesterday and they asked if I wanted the vaccine. I said no way! I told him my cousin was a front-line Nurse in New Jersey who caught COVID, got over it, and then was ordered to take the vaccine. She had a stroke after the first dose, recovered, and then refused the second. He then said there are adverse reactions in some people. My response is yes, but they will not do the proper research to determine who should not be given the vaccine. Skipping the animal trials and using people violates the Nuremberg agreement to ban human experimentation.

DeceptiCons Perplexed, President Trump Support Not Waning – Retribution to GOP Increasingly Likely

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 9, 2021 by Sundance

Interestingly Politico is picking up on a fear amid the GOPe (establishment) that President Trump will likely not only survive the second insufferable impeachment effort, but he is likely to exit stronger than ever…. and that means retaliation against the DeceptiCon class of republicans.

This is the blind spot of the UniParty, their inability to see that smart Americans have identified their motives and are prepared to destroy them.

This is the aspect CTH warned about the day after the November election.  The GOPe is so fraught with elitist perspectives, it continues to assemble as a hopeless echo-chamber,  and they never see what is happening at the grassroots level in Middle-America.

(Via Politico) […] Not even Trump’s closest allies can believe the turn in fortunes. “He’s Teflon, right. It’s been a month since the Capitol riot and I would say, for the most part, the GOP has coalesced back behind him,” said a former Trump campaign official.

[…] Already, Trump aides contend, the impeachment process has proved beneficial to the ex-president — exposing disloyalty within the party’s ranks and igniting grassroots backlash against Republicans who have attempted to nudge the GOP base away from Trump.

Nebraska Sen. Ben Sasse spent last week fending off constituent criticisms and censures from state party officials after he compared Trumpism to “a civic cancer for the nation.” And Trump’s allies believe the ex-president’s impending impeachment trial will further illuminate who the turncoats are.

“It’s going to help expose more bad apples that he can primary if any senators vote to convict,” added the former campaign official.

While ensconced at his Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach, Trump has remained in touch with political allies and advisers. But he has intentionally kept a low profile, something that will likely continue this week.

A[…] ides expect that to change once the trial wraps up though, with Trump gradually reemerging in public and turning his attention toward seeking revenge against Republicans who, he believes, crossed him after he left office.

The format in which he pursues retribution is less clear. (read more)

If President Trump takes the MAGA army into a new political party of his choosing, that new party is structurally set to lay waste to any candidate within both wings of the Democrat and Republican assembly. A Trump inspired political party can wipe out the illusion of the Democrat/Republican two-party system; specifically because much of the Trump movement consists of former democrats and brand new voters.

The MAGA coalition is the most diverse, widest and deepest part of the entire American electorate. President Trump’s army consists of every creed, color, race, gender, ethnicity and orientation. It is a truly color-blind coalition of middle America patriots and middle-class voters that cuts through the political special interest groups.

Quite simply Trump’s MAGA army is the ultimate political splitter party.

Additionally, no republican will ever hold office in the next decade without the blessing of President Trump; and President Trump could lay waste to the system if the GOP acquiesces to the transparent fraud that exists behind the Biden-Harris sham.

Beyond the politics… this 75 million vote assembly are consumers of products, goods and services generated by the same elites that hold them in contempt. If President Trump transfers and directs that energy, entities and even entire industries can be wiped out.

There is no precedent here. Seventy-five million angry Americans resolved to a common objective is not something to be trifled with.

We do not yet know where this current political crisis and ongoing battle is going to end; but we do know that 75,000,000 Americans will not accept the outcome of a political process transparently filled with fraud and manipulation. That makes President Trump a very dangerous entity to the DC system, regardless of whether they admit what surrounds them.

There is no reference point for 75 million Americans being disenfranchised by Wall Street, bribery, corporations, media and big tech. That 75 million person army is fuel for a stunning and cataclysmic shift in the American landscape.

The Modern Day Exodus from New York

Armstrong Economics Blog/Economics Re-Posted Jan 28, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

Florida is showing the world that we can still have a normal life and COVID is even less than places like New York which has destroyed businesses, its economy, and even theatre. There will be no return to normal for millions are leaving New York and it is the modern-day Exodus in biblical terms. Now Florida has even stepped up and said if Tokyo backs out of the summer Olympics again, they will be glad to host it.

When I ran my models, it was clear that the states that would do best were Texas and Florida and that was 6 years ago. Ever since I simply followed Socrates, so many people I know have started the move. With New York committing economic suicide, our model which also suggests that if the USA turns into a civil war after 2027, it will be North v South once again. These trends unfold in line with our model, but they are slow-moving. The breakup of the United States appears likely by 2037 where at the very least we will see an end to centralized government control and the resurrection of state rights. Unemployment in New York City itself is likely to spare beyond 50% and crime will explode.

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem Discusses How The GOP Has Failed The Country

South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem comments on ways in which members of the establishment Republican party ‘failed’ the country, her efforts in protecting certain rights in her own state, the hypocrisy of other lawmakers throughout the country, whether or not she has plans for higher office, and a fun fact about the geography of her state.  WATCH:

The establishment Republican apparatus, writ large, is positioning Nikki Haley as the next GOPe candidate in line.  To achieve this goal they will reintroduce the splitter strategy in 2024 that will likely include Ted Cruz, Ron DeSantis and Kristi Noem.

DeSantis = MAGA

Noem = MAGA Lite with a Koch Twist

Haley = Full blown establishment (the female Jeb)

Cruz = Controlled opposition

House Leader Kevin McCarthy Heading to Florida for Meeting With President Trump

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on January 27, 2021 by Sundance

You know it had to irk President Trump intensely for House minority Leader Kevin McCarthy to blame the Capitol Hill riots squarely on him.  Additionally, thanks to Rand Paul, with 45 senators voting to dismiss the article of impeachment, President Trump now knows the almost certain February outcome of the ridiculous partisan effort.  That’s the background for a report that Kevin McCarthy is heading to Florida this week for talks with President Trump.

The MAGA movement President Trump inspired is itching to break down the republican party in the next set of primary races.  McCarthy has no leverage; the establishment GOP have no leverage; the republican national committee have no leverage.  President Trump can destroy the republican party with a few targeted and direct words.

WASHINGTON – Former President Trump is expected to meet this week with House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) in Florida, a source familiar with the meeting confirmed to The Hill.

The rendezvous, which was first reported by Punchbowl News, comes as McCarthy attempts to manage simmering tensions within the House GOP caucus amid the fallout from the Jan. 6 riots at the Capitol and Trump’s ensuing impeachment for his role in the mayhem.

McCarthy’s office did not respond to a request for comment. (read more)
