President Trump Announces Nomination of Brooke Rollins as Secretary of Agriculture

Apparently the widely circulated rumor of Kelly Loeffler for the job was wrong; or, there was a change of plan.  Regardless, President Trump has just announced Brooke Rollins as the nominee for Secretary of Agriculture.

“From her upbringing in the small and Agriculture-centered town of Glen Rose, Texas, to her years of leadership involvement with Future Farmers of America and 4H, to her generational Family Farming background, to guiding her four kids in their show cattle careers, Brooke has a practitioner’s experience, along with deep Policy credentials in both Nonprofit and Government leadership at the State and National levels.”

Brooke Rollins served as director of the Office of American Innovation and acting director of the Domestic Policy Council during the first Trump administration. After leaving the administration Rollins co-founded the America First Policy Institute think tank and was the President and CEO of the organization.

Mrs Collins will predictably play a vital role in protection and support of American farmers as President Trump confronts the global world of trade and tariffs.

Providing the baselines so the discussion can happen in the comments.  President Trump announced his nominees for Surgeon General, Food and Drug Administration (FDA), and Centers for Disease Control (CDC).

More than likely, nominated HHS Secretary Robert F Kennedy Jr had a key voice in recommending some of these names.  Perhaps not, but RFK Jr and Elon Musk are currently living in Mar-a-Lago for a reason.  So, here’s the nominees as outlined starting with the Surgeon General.

President Trump Nominates Lori Chavez-DeRemer for Secretary of Labor

President Trump has announced the nomination of Teamsters union favorite Lori Chavez-DeRemer for U.S. Labor Secretary. Teamsters President Sean O’Brien backed Chavez-DeRemer for the cabinet position, and the alignment with the blue-collar union base made her a natural fit.

Look for many pro-labor Democrats to support this nomination.  Several major unions in Oregon endorsed Chavez-DeRemer’s reelection bid this year, but she lost to Democratic state Rep. Janelle Bynum in one of the most competitive house races in 2024.

President Trump Announces Scott Bessent as Nominee for Treasury Secretary

President Donald Trump has announced Scott Bessent as nominee for U.S. Treasury Secretary. The Secretary of Treasury implements tax policy, manages the nation’s debt, leads financial regulators, monitors and executes sanctions and conducts economic diplomacy. While the U.S. trade representative takes the lead on tariffs, the Treasury secretary typically plays a key role advising on that issue as well.

Bessent (62) is a hedge Fund manager, the founder of investment firm Key Square Capital Management.  Despite supporting President Trump early, he has faced criticism for working as the CIO at George Soros’s Soros Fund Management from 2011 to 2015. He lives in Charleston, S.C.

Via NBC – […] Bessent has advised Trump to pursue a “3-3-3” policy: cutting the budget deficit to 3% of gross domestic product by 2028, spurring GDP growth of 3% through deregulation, and producing an additional 3 million barrels of oil or its equivalent a day.

He has suggested that Trump’s tariff threats are a negotiating strategy aimed at extracting concessions from other countries. “My general view is that at the end of the day, he’s a free trader,” Bessent told the Financial Times last month. “It’s escalate to de-escalate.” (read more)

Matt Gaetz Says He Isn’t Coming Back to Congress

It looks like Matt Gaetz is done with DC politics. [Video Below]

During an interview today, Mr Gaetz has big praise for Pam Bondi and says he will remain outside government trying to assist President Donald Trump and the MAGA agenda.

WASHINGTON — Former Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., said Friday that he doesn’t plan to rejoin Congress after he withdrew his name from consideration to be President-elect Donald Trump’s attorney general amid sexual misconduct allegations.

“I’m still going to be in the fight, but it’s going to be from a new perch. I do not intend to join the 119th Congress,” Gaetz said in an interview with conservative commentator Charlie Kirk.

“There are a number of fantastic Floridians who stepped up to run for my seat, people who have inspired with their heroism, with their public service. And I’m actually excited to see Northwest Florida go to new heights and have great representation,” he added.

Gaetz, who was first elected to Florida’s state House when he was 28 years old, noted he has been in elected office for 14 years,

“I’m 42 now, and I’ve got other goals in life that I’m eager to pursue — my wife and my family — and so I’m going to be fighting for President Trump,” he said. “I’m going to be doing whatever he asks of me, as I always have. But I think that eight years is probably enough time in the United States Congress.”

Gaetz said it seems like “a pretty poetic time to allow that great new blood to come in, to allow my district to have high-quality representation.”

He also alluded to playing a continued role in Trump’s plans, without getting into specifics.

“We need a leadership structure under President Trump that’s going to allow for durability of our movement and the ability to continue this great realignment of our politics, and so I’ll play a part in that,” he said. “I plan to be a big voice, but maybe not as an elected member of the government.” (read more)

Truth Social in Acquisition Negotiations with Crypto Firm Baakt

Posted originally on the CTH on November 22, 2024 | Sundance

Just dropping some background information to help people make sense of things in the nomination world of businessman and President-Elect Donald Trump.

FINANCIAL TIMES – […] Trump Media and Technology Group, which operates Truth Social, is close to an all-stock acquisition of Bakkt, the Financial Times reported on Monday, citing two people with knowledge of the talks.

Shares of Bakkt, backed by NYSE-owner Intercontinental Exchange, skyrocketed more than 160% and were halted multiple times due to volatility. Trump Media shares ended the day up 16.7%.

[…] Trump Media and Bakkt ‒ whose former CEO, Kelly Loeffler, is now co-chair of Trump’s inauguration committee and married to Intercontinental Exchange CEO Jeffrey Sprecher ‒ did not immediately respond to requests for comment from USA TODAY. Intercontinental Exchange declined to comment.

A deal would help consolidate Trump’s involvement with an industry that he championed in the run-up to the U.S. presidential election. The president-elect has also launched a new crypto venture, World Liberty Financial.

“The only thing (Trump Media has) got going for them is the incoming president’s name. But the crypto crowd has backed the president quite strongly, and now they’re expecting a payoff,” said Jim Angel, a finance professor at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. (read more)

As with everything in life, outside family, it helps to stay emotionally detached and clear-eyed about money motives.

Kelly Loeffler transferred ownership of Baakt. The crypto exchange Baakt is currently owned by the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), owned by Loffler’s husband.  If the report above is accurate, President Trump is in merger negotiations with Kelly Loeffler’s husband, Jeffrey Sprecher.

President Trump is a supporter of cryptocurrency.

Big Ag Breathes a Sigh of Relief

Posted originally on the CTH on November 22, 2024

Big Agriculture and Big Pharma were both preparing for a serious battle over food, chemicals, drugs and various health matters they control, with RFK Jr appointed to lead Health and Human Services (HHS).  With that many trillions at stake, the scale of political capital needed to confront Big Ag and Big Rx was going to be astronomical.

If these reports are accurate, today Big Ag and Big Rx will breathe a collective sigh of relief, and President Trump will not have to worry about RFK Jr creating distractions from other priorities.  All in all, an expected approach.

This has not yet appeared on Truth Social, however, apparently, Susie Wiles is expected to announce the nomination of Kelly Loeffler for Secretary of Agriculture.

[Source]

Former Senator Kelly Loeffler is the wife of Jeffrey Sprecher. Kelly Loeffler was approved by the Sea Island control group, then appointed by Georgia Governor Kemp because Loeffler is married to Jeffrey Sprecher; a GOPe party insider, mega-donor, and multi-millionaire CEO of the Intercontinental Exchange (ICE).

Jeffrey Sprecher (formerly from the Bush administration) is the founder and CEO of ICE, which now owns the New York Stock Exchange. Kelly Loeffler’s company, the financial platform Bakkt, is a subsidiary of the Intercontinental Exchange.  Bakkt is currently in the process of creating a Crypto exchange, with hopes of making Bakkt to U.S. Crypto what the NYSE is to stocks.

Kelly Loeffler purchased her recent Trump insiders’ ticket from Susie Wiles by leading the inauguration committee.  Where ‘leading’ is essentially financing it with her circle of friends.  On the upside, with this level of attachment to the Wall Street multinationals, the likely nomination of Loeffler to protect corporate food interests should settle down the opposition to RFK Jr in the Senate nomination process.

Much like yesterday’s nominee of Pam Bondi, billionaire mega-donor and former Senator, Kelly Loeffler, has the support of Nikki Haley, Mitch McConnell, John Thune, Chuck Grassley, all the Fox News pundits, and all of the key influence agents within the professional republican apparatus.

RFK Jr was likely to face blistering questioning and tenuous confirmation as HHS secretary, given his statements of intent about security American food supplies, diminishing the influence of Big Ag and confronting the Rx and Chemical industry.  These are the corporate business sectors who pay the most for lobbyists in Washington DC.

By nominating Kelly Loeffler as Secretary of Agriculture, President Trump assuages the fears of the multinationals and likely makes the nomination of RFK Jr a little more stable.   Loeffler will be a guarantor of the corporate interests that RFK Jr threatens.

Like I said, it makes sense.  [Archives on Loeffler HERE]  If we want an RFK Jr, we might have to take a Kelly Loeffler.

Robert F Kennedy Jr and Nicole Shannahan are not likely to be happy about this, but compromises are needed.  After all, there are trillions at stake in all of the sectors that RFK Jr is promising to change.

I would suspect that Ms Loeffler is traveling to Mar-a-Lago today for direct negotiations with RFK Jr before any announcement is made.  Loeffler would also represent another gender positive move for the Trump administration.

MAHA now comes with a small *asterisk.  The asterisk is Kelly Loeffler.

On the upside, the crypto markets are likely to continue benefitting big time.

There are Trillions at Stake

President Trump Nominates Pam Bondi for U.S. Attorney General – The Deep Swamp Smiles

Posted originally on the CTH on November 21, 2024 | Sundance

The nomination of former Florida AG Pam Bondi for the position of U.S. Attorney General is a big mistake; not for the corrupt background of Bondi that we presume President Trump is not aware of, but rather for the background of Pam Bondi the Deep Swamp is almost certainly aware of.

Within the background story of state AG corruption and unlawful activity, Pam Bondi is very easily leveraged, blackmailed and controlled.

I presume at this writing that President Donald Trump is completely unaware of what Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi did during her time in office.  The Florida Governor at the time was Rick Scott, who could most certainly corroborate much of the background, albeit now with layers and layers of serious political ramifications.

If you followed the story around the Trayvon Martin shooting and the subsequent arrest, jail and trial of George Zimmerman, you probably know the majority of what Florida AG Pam Bondi did.  However, it was almost 12-years-ago now.  So, for those who don’t remember here’s the story.

On the evening of February 26, 2012, in Sanford Florida, George Zimmerman fired one shot into the heart of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin, fatally killing him.

The Sanford Police lead investigator into the shooting was Chris Serino; the Police Chief was Bill Lee, and the local prosecutor was Norm Wolfinger.

Detective Chris Serino questioned and investigated George Zimmerman, who used a traditional “self-defense” justification for the shooting.  Eventually the case went to trial and the same “self-defense” justification was used in court.  Despite what you might have heard in the media, it was never a “stand your ground” defense.  It simply was not needed.

In addition to questioning Zimmerman, Serino documented two eye-witnesses to the shooting.  One woman in an apartment who saw the initial encounter between Trayvon Martin and George Zimmerman, and another eye-witness, a man in an adjacent apartment who saw and partially recorded, the entire confrontation as it unfolded on the pathway approximately 20 feet from him.

The second witness called 911 and described in real time what he was seeing.  Trayvon was straddling George in an “MMA style” position and slamming Zimmerman’s head into the sidewalk.  During the 911 recording you can hear Zimmerman calling out, “help me; somebody help me.” [NOTE: Both of those witnesses as well as the recording were later buried but came out at trial.]

After a thorough investigation, all of the statements by George Zimmerman were corroborated by the eye-witnesses, the forensic evidence, the audio recording, and all the physical evidence found at the scene.  Detective Chris Serino gave his investigative report to Police Chief Lee along with the recommendation that Zimmerman’s claim of self-defense was valid and justified.  Serino and Lee then consulted with prosecutor Norm Wolfinger who reviewed the evidence and agreed.

ESSENTIALLY: Zimmerman was looking for Trayvon, who appeared from the bushes (Witness #1) punched Zimmerman in the face, and then the fight went down the sidewalk to where they ended up on the ground (Witness #2).  After Zimmerman was screaming for help, getting his head slammed into the concrete, he pulled a pistol from his belt and fired one shot into the chest of Martin.  All witnesses and evidence supported this series of events.

Detective Chris Serino had the responsibility to tell Trayvon Martin’s father, Tracy Martin, his findings from the investigation.  He played the audio from the 911 call as part of his explanation to Tracy Martin and his girlfriend Alicia Stanley.

Alicia Stanley worked in the corrections department and was not happy. Ms. Stanley was essentially the only mother Trayvon had ever known.  Sybrina Fulton from Miami Gardens was presented as Trayvon’s mother later on; however, Trayvon had not lived with Sybrina for almost 10-years.

As a corrections worker, Ms. Stanley was eventually put into contact with a Florida “civil rights lawyer” named Benjamin Crump.  After some back-and-forth positioning and discussion, Crump decided to champion a wrongful death case for the Martin family against George Zimmerman, the City of Sanford and the Sanford Police Department.

Benjamin Crump hired a PR firm run by Ryan Julison to create media pressure.  Using his civil rights contacts, Crump requested support from groups like Al Sharpton, Dream Defenders, and allies in the DOJ.  That approach led to AG Eric Holder and eventually President Barack Obama.

Additionally, having worked previously (2007) with Florida prosecutor Pam Bondi in the Martin Lee Anderson case, Benjamin Crump called the now Florida Attorney General Bondi for support.  The detective (Serino) sided with George Zimmerman.  The Police Chief, Bill Lee, agreed with Serino and the evidence.  The local Sanford prosecutor (Norm Wolfinger) refused to bring a case against Zimmerman based on the evidence.

…. Enter Florida AG Pam Bondi, who told Florida Governor Rick Scott a special prosecutor was needed for her friend Ben Crump.

Police Chief, Bill Lee, was removed from authority; then the local prosecutor, Norm Wolfinger, was removed; eventually the lead Detective, Chris Serino, was removed.

No prosecutor in Florida wanted to touch the case because the evidence against Zimmerman just didn’t exist.  However, Florida AG Bondi replaced the Sanford officials with State investigators working for a new “special prosecutor” Angela Corey, out of Jacksonville.

District Attorney Angela Corey (pictured above right) was Pam Bondi’s campaign manager.

Martin family attorney’s Benjamin Crump and Daryl Parks then began creating a fabricated case construct to sell to the media.  The PR firm led by Ryan Julison provided the initial media contacts and narrative distribution of the fabricated case.  The majority of that fabricated case still exists in the public psyche despite all of the truth that came out during the trial of a transparently innocent George Zimmerman.

Pam Bondi was part of that fraudulent prosecution architecture. In fact, without her origination the state case against Zimmerman was non-existent.  Everything told about the Trayvon Martin shooting was a lie, including his age, the “skittles and iced-tea” story, this background criminal record, Trayvon’s known drug use, and just about everything else.  It was all an entirely manufactured Lawfare case, pushed to a compliant media.

None of the witness statements were ever in the media. None of the (full context) 911 call evidence was ever in the media. None of the images of George Zimmerman’s face and head were ever in the media.  None of the corroborating forensic evidence was ever in the media. None of the accurate pictures of Trayvon Martin were ever in the media. Nothing.  It was one big, fabricated Lawfare operation headed by Benjamin Crump and Special Prosecutor Angela Corey.

However, it’s actually worse.  The State Prosecutors and Benjamin Crump claimed there was an “ear-witness”, witness #8 at trial, a mysterious Trayvon Martin “girlfriend” witness they refused to identify but swore she heard Zimmerman threatening and attacking Trayvon Martin.

At the trial you saw witness #8 as Rachael “that’s retarded sir” Jeantel.

This was the state star prosecution witness used to construct the case against Zimmerman, and she was protected and isolated until the very last second when she was called to the stand at trial.

Except there was an immediate problem, Jeantel was never an ear-witness, she was never Trayvon’s girlfriend, she only had cursory knowledge of Trayvon when he infrequently visited the neighborhood in Miami Gardens, and she never authored the supposed statement attributed to her; heck, she couldn’t even read it, and she was NEVER Trayvon Martin’s girlfriend.

Everything about Rachael Jeantel as a witness was entirely fabricated by Ben Crump and Angela Corey.  They literally put a fabricated witness on the stand.  Attorney General Pam Bondi knew all about it, in real time, as the false witness was being created and flown back and forth from Miami to Jacksonville in order to try and get some form of story aligned.

Let me be very clear.  Florida AG Pam Bondi knew that her special prosecutor, Angela Corey, and her friend, Benjamin Crump, had manufactured an entirely false and fictitious witness against George Zimmerman.

Everyone, including AG Pam Bondi, was willing to put a transparently innocent man into prison; even to the extent of manufacturing a witness; in order to achieve a racially equitable political outcome that would assist their careers.

And don’t forget, throughout this entire time – George Zimmerman was kept locked in jail, pending trial.

This same Pam Bondi is the person President Trump is relying upon to clean out the corruption in Washington DC’s Main Justice system.

Pam Bondi is the person who is going to stop “weaponizing” the justice system?

Think about it.

Many of you are probably reading this aspect of the story for the first time.  However, what we do know with as much certainty as we knew going into the George Zimmerman trial, is that every element of the Deep State knows exactly what Pam Bondi did in Florida with that case in 2012 and 2013.

The Intelligence Community and the people who control the DOJ know every single detail of that corrupt Bondi timeline, complete with emails, call logs, transcripts, text messages, strategy meeting notes and more.

They know all of it, and they will leverage that as blackmail (and more) against her just as soon as President Trump starts to think Pam Bondi is going to make a difference.

Wrongful prosecution by the State, on the scale of manufacturing false witnesses, does not have a statute of limitations.

In 2016 President-elect Donald Trump did not know his Nat Sec Advisor Mike Flynn was an unregistered foreign lobbyist for Turkey.

In 2024, I highly doubt President-elect Donald Trump has any idea what attack vectors a completely compromised Pam Bondi carries into the AG role. Including her being a registered foreign lobbyist for Qatar.

We shall see…..
