Famous Law Professor: Charges Against Rick Perry Are Bogus… Here’s Why

Once we start doing this in more than one place than the republic is gone!

The charges are pretty obviously politically motivated, with even many liberals calling the charges bogus, including law professor Alan Dershowitz, according to Newsmax.

Dershowitz, who is admittedly not a fan of Perry’s, nevertheless said he is “outraged” by the indictments.  He said they are politically motivated, and a part of a “dangerous trend” of people using courts instead of the ballot box to effect political change.

“Everybody, liberal or conservative, should stand against this indictment,” Dershowitz said. “If you don’t like how Rick Perry uses his office, don’t vote for him.”

Dershowitz said that indictments against political opponents is something that is done in third-world totalitarian countries, and has no place in the United States.

“In America, you vote against them…this should be up to the voters. There is no room in America for abuse of office charges, and this has to stop once and for all. This is a…

So long, First Amendment. It was nice knowing ya’. Two journalists arrested in Ferguson, MO for no reason.

The 1st Amendment has been gone for a while now with political correctness and hate speech — this is just the end result of many bad decisions!

Journalists Wesley Lowery, of The Washington Post, and Ryan Reilly, of The Huffington Post, were arrested Wednesday in a Ferguson, Missouri McDonald’s, which they were using as an operating base because of its WiFi and recharging outlets.

There was no reason given for the arrests, no charges were placed, and the two were released from jail without explanation. During the arrest both journalists were handled roughly, which one of the journalists described as “assault.”

I encourage both reporters, and their newspapers, to sue, in federal court, those officers responsible for the arrests, and their departments, for the very clear and egregious violations of the First Amendment, not because the damages are so important, but because the preservation of our Constitution is so critical.

Below is a brief video of the encounter, followed by Wesley Lowery’s account, as printed in The Washington Post.

Smoking Gun Of Extreme Climate Fraud At NOAA

According to this EPA document, only 50% of the US was unusually hot in 1936, and 60% of the US was hot in 2012.

High and Low Temperatures | Climate Change | US EPA

This document was derived from NOAA’s Climate Extremes Index (CEI.) It is trivial to demonstrate that the NOAA CEI is wrong.

In 1936, 78% of USHCN stations recorded 100 degree temperatures, compared to 58% in 2012.  Forty-four states had temperatures over 100 degrees in 1936. The CEI shows accurate numbers for 2012, but the 1936 numbers are massively understated. The average peak temperature of the 78% over 100 degrees in 1936 was an incredible 108 degrees.

But it is worse than it seems – the 1936 temperatures were not just over 100 degrees, but they were way over 100 degrees. In 1936, 24% of the US reached 110 degrees – compared to only 4% in 2012.
