President Trump Has Nothing to Fear from The Fraud Represented by Special Counsel Jack Smith

Sunlight is the best disinfectant; this core and essential truism will never be defeated.

People have asked for a summary of the current status of Special Counsel Jack Smith and the background of what is happening within the investigation as it takes place in the shadows of the DC schemes.  So here’s an analysis and review of: (a) the corrupt endeavor that Jack Smith represents; and (b) the problem he will never overcome in his quest to use lawfare tactics against President Donald Trump.

Two points, at the outset of this outline.  First, if you know anyone better acquainted with the granular issues at the core of this investigation than me; or if you know someone who has a documented day-by-day research library of the events discussed as they unfolded; let me know who they are, and I will talk to them.  Second, if you think John Durham is on some quest to provide justice where the landscape is filled with injustice, you need to reevaluate your position, it’s wrong.

To the second point, stop kidding yourself with false doses of hopium.  Special Counsel John Durham exists for the exact same reason the Robert Mueller and Andrew Weissmann special counsel existed.  The goal of the silo defenses is to protect Washington DC from the disinfecting sunlight you are about to read.  However, in the bigger picture there is nothing these Machiavellian conscripts can do to change the substantive truth.

In the most recent development the New York Times is reporting, “Boris Epshteyn, a top adviser to former President Donald J. Trump, is scheduled to be interviewed on Thursday by prosecutors in the office of the special counsel Jack Smith.” {link} Let me write the remainder of this summary from the perspective that Jack Smith has a big problem; his problem is the truth of events that protects Donald Trump.

In 2016 and 2017 the combined corrupt weight of multiple DC institutions, that includes the intelligence community, DOJ, FBI, Obama White House, legislative leadership, the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and the political apparatchiks around the Democrat machinery, all colluded to illegally and unconstitutionally spy on the presidential campaign of Donald J Trump.  Their activity culminated in the fraudulent Trump-Russia collusion conspiracy and fake 2016 election Russian interference claims.

Everything created as an outcome of this spying, surveillance and ultimately the Trump-Russia narrative, was built on fraud.  Even the casual observers now admit it was political weaponization of government institutions to illegally target political opposition.  In May of 2017 Robert Mueller was installed to cover up this operation.  The lawfare team put into place by the system operators who were at greatest risk from discovery, was headed by Andrew Weissmann.  Mueller represented the face, but Weissmann was the lead operative constructing the coverup operation.

♦ Declassification #1 – In 2018, as the details of the fraud began to surface, President Trump -directly, and through his White House counsel- told then Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein to declassify all of the information and the paper trail of mounting investigative documents so the American people could see what happened.  Rosenstein informed President Trump the Weissmann/Mueller team would consider declassifying information “obstruction of their investigation.”

The position of the Mueller probe was again the coverup operation, which would be threatened by any declassification of evidence.  The threat of obstruction was leveraged to keep the sunlight away, while the second phase of the Trump removal operation was ongoing.   Facing this threat, President Trump was told to wait until Mueller was complete.

♦ Declassification #2 – Bill Barr is appointed Attorney General in 2019 and was told again -directly by Trump, and through his White House counsel- that all documents related to the illegal spying and targeting operation were to be declassified and released to the public.   The Mueller/Weissmann investigation concluded, Bill Barr was instructed to release the declassified evidence.

Attorney General Bill Barr informed President Trump directly and through counsel, that Office of Inspector General Michael Horowitz was conducting an internal investigation, and the prior Mueller/Weissmann probe had blocked the OIG from access to certain sensitive documents.

Additionally, to provide further “assurances,” which were really delays protecting the DC institutions, AG Barr appointed an independent U.S. Attorney from Connecticut named John Durham to investigate the claims in the background of the Trump-Russia fraud.

Similar to the prior position of DAG Rosenstein concerning the Mueller probe, AG Barr now told President Trump that any declassification of documents could be considered an impediment to the Durham investigation, and concurrently IG Horowitz would be conducting additional internal review, which was likely to provide the sunlight that President Trump was demanding.  After all, Horowitz didn’t get to see the stuff Weissmann was hiding, and presumably now he could.

Frustrated, yet still retaining his position on the declassification of documents, President Trump accepted the issue as presented.  In May of 2019, President Trump in combination with White House counsel, issued an executive memorandum giving AG Bill Barr the executive and legal authority to declassify the evidence in order to provide it to both IG Michael Horowitz and USAO John Durham.

Important NOTE:  Notice that twice President Trump has ordered the declassification of documents, and also deferred the timing so that he did not interfere with ongoing investigations.  The declassification of documents exists, AND, the deference to avoid legal exposure within an “obstruction” threat exists.  Both of these lawfare attack angles are the issues at the core of what Special Counsel Jack Smith is currently attempting to construct.

It is important at this juncture to apply hindsight to what was taking place, and to accept the reality of how corrupt the system truly is.

AG Bill Barr appointed John Durham specifically to continue representing a legal block that would stop President Trump from unilaterally declassifying information.  Let me be very specific, Attorney General Bill Barr appointed John Durham to maintain the “obstruction” threat.

Rod Rosenstein, Robert Mueller, Michael Horowitz, Bill Barr, John Durham and now, Merrick Garland, Lisa Monaco and Jack Smith, were/are all attempting to defend the institutional interests of a comprehensively corrupt Washington DC political apparatus.  All of these participants were/are involved in one long continuum of an effort to hide the corruption and protect the institutions.  The weaponized institutions of government, and the evidence of that corrupt activity, are what they are protecting.

♦ Declassification #3 – Following the 2020 election, and again with the advice of White House counsel as the guide, President Trump declassified for the third time the documents that show the illegal weaponization of the DOJ, FBI, ODNI, SSCI and larger Intelligence Community (IC).  Again, with the threat of “obstruction” as the overlay, on the final day in office President Donald J Trump left these instructions for the U.S. Attorney General:

To date, none of these documents have been released.

Copies of these declassified documents are what the FBI was trying to track down in the raid of Mar-a-Lago.

The position of the DOJ, through Special Counsel Jack Smith, is that President Trump did not declassify the documents; and that President Trump is obstructing the U.S. government from the process of controlling and securing documents they intend to keep hidden from the public.

The position of President Trump is that everything was declassified, and all of the participants within the process of declassification can attest to the intent of the declassification process itself.  Additionally, it is clear by the actions of President Trump within the deferral process he followed, that President Trump was never trying to obstruct any investigation, and though the use of “obstruction” was simply a weaponized threat (ie. Lawfare) to protect corrupt institutions, Trump never stepped into that trap.

At the essential core of the issue, TRUTH is a problem for Special Counsel Jack Smith.   All of the participants within the process will attest to the basic outline as presented above.

Yes, President Trump declassified documents showing how the apparatus of the United States government was illegally weaponized against him.  And yes, simultaneously President Trump deferred public release of those documents to avoid the DOJ obstruction threat.   This is the problem that Jack Smith keeps running into.

House Judiciary Committee Releases Evidence of U.S. Intelligence Community Conducting Domestic Political Disinformation Campaign

Posted originally on the CTH on April 21, 2023 | Sundance

The House Judiciary Committee has released evidence {Letter Here}, gained from a transcribed interview with former Acting CIA Director Mike Morell, showing a coordinated plan by former and current Intelligence Community officials (both parties) to work with the political campaign of Joe Biden in order to influence the 2020 election outcome.

Within the transcribed interview, Mike Morell admits to receiving a phone call from current Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, with a request to create disinformation and protect Joe Biden from scrutiny over the Hunter Biden laptop revelations.  Morell then coordinated with 50 intelligence officials to fabricate a claim that Russians had created the Biden laptop story as a disinformation campaign.  The reality was that Morell organized the U.S. intelligence community to create disinformation on behalf of Joe Biden.

[House Judiciary] – […] “Based on Morell’s testimony, it is apparent that the Biden campaign played an active role in the origins of the public statement, which had the effect of helping to suppress the Hunter Biden story and preventing American citizens from making a fully informed decision during the 2020 presidential election. Although the statement’s signatories have an unquestioned right to free speech and free association—which we do not dispute—their reference to their national security credentials lent weight to the story and suggested access to specialized information unavailable to other Americans. This concerted effort to minimize and suppress public dissemination of the serious allegations about the Biden family was a grave disservice to all American citizens’ informed participation in our democracy.” (more)

The United States federal police force, the FBI, is politically weaponized against American citizens.

The United States intelligence community is politically weaponized against American citizens.

The United States justice department, the DOJ, is politically weaponized against American citizens.

We need to take down the four pillars that support the Fourth Branch of Government.  The Office of the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), the Dept of Homeland Security (DHS), the Dept of Justice National Security Division (DOJ-NSD), and the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court (FISC), all need to be dissolved.

After those four pillars are removed, the Patriot Act needs to be abolished and the FBI placed under the jurisdiction of the U.S. Marshals service.

This type of conversational interview with President Trump is the reason he connects to Zoomers (Gen-Z) so naturally. There is an authenticity that comes from within a sense of conversational comfort and honesty in the content.  Gen-Z MAGA is crushing the support level on social media platforms, especially TikTok, and the connected level of support shows up in polling data.  MAGA is a very diverse and inclusive coalition.

This interview flows through a multitude of interesting topics and current events, while also pointing out some of the ordinary perspectives that people have in the day-to-day discussion of them. New York Judge Tells Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg His Office Must Testify to Congress

Posted originally on the CTH on April 20, 2023 | Sundance

Political DA Alvin Bragg was smacked down pretty hard by a New York judge Wednesday, telling his office there is no legal mechanism to avoid accountability and testimony before congress.

The DA office took federal funds to prosecute Donald Trump, the DA office is interfering in a federal election, the DA office has openly stated their intentions are politically motivated, and therefore the DA office has no standing to try and avoid federal legislative scrutiny.

As Judge Mary Kay Vyskocil clarified to Bragg’s team, she has no standing to block a legislatively authorized congressional subpoena.

New York – […] “The sole question before the Court at this time is whether Bragg has a legal basis to quash a congressional subpoena that was issued with a valid legislative purpose.  He does not,” Vyskocil wrote in her decision Wednesday.

Bragg, a Democrat, has accused Jordan of pursuing the subpoena to score political points while supporting Trump, a Republican. Vyskocil said the dispute appeared political, but said that did not impact her decision.

“In our federalist system, elected state and federal actors sometimes engage in political dogfights,” Vyskocil wrote in her order, noting that Bragg is an elected official. “Bragg complains of political interference in the local DANY case, but Bragg does not operate outside of the political arena.”

“Jordan, in turn, has initiated a political response to what he and some of his constituents view as a manifest abuse of power and nakedly political prosecution, funded (in part) with federal money, that has the potential to interfere with the exercise of presidential duties and with an upcoming federal election,” Vyskocil wrote.  “The Court does not endorse either side’s agenda.”

The subpoena to Pomerantz demands his appearance before the Judiciary Committee on Thursday. It is unclear if he will appear. A spokesperson for Bragg said Wednesday, “We respectfully disagree with the District Court’s decision and are seeking a stay pending appeal.”

Vyskocil denied Bragg’s request for a stay Wednesday night. (read more)

The Bloom Is Off The Ruse – President Trump Gains Ten More Florida Republican Congressional Endorsements, DeSantis Has One – Rep Greg Steube Explains Why

Posted originally on the CTH on April 19, 2023 | Sundance

Another three endorsements for President Trump today from the Florida congressional delegation, bringing the total so far to ten with more anticipated.  Meanwhile, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is in Washington DC seeking support.  DeSantis is warmly greeted, but President Trump gets the endorsements.  What’s going on?

Republican Congressman Greg Steube gives an explanation below about the Ron DeSantis Floridians know, but nationally most do not.

DeSantis is an out-of-touch aloof persona, who generally projects himself as better than others.  In person he projects an arrogance and condescending personality trait also carried by his insta-selfie supporters and ‘influencers.’ It comes through the camera lens.  Everything constructed around DeSantis is fake, even the fake blue-collar handshakes that have to be photo-shopped to give a common man impression.

The donors are pouring in hundreds of millions to pay for the fake DeSantis constructs, Top Gov brand imaging and Madison Avenue illusions, but you cannot purchase authenticity, and you cannot rewrite the history of who DeSantis is.  Greg Steube explains:

[I]n a brief interview last night [Steube noted] that DeSantis has never once reached out to him during his five years in Congress nor replied to his multiple attempts to connect. He recalled a recent news conference dealing with damage from Hurricane Ian where the governor’s aides initially invited him to stand alongside DeSantis, only to tell him that he wouldn’t be part of the event when he showed up.

Trump, on the other hand, was the first person Steube remembers calling him in the ICU to wish him well after he was injured in a January tree-trimming accident. “To this day I have not heard from Gov. DeSantis,” he said.

Things suddenly changed last week, Steube said, as Trump started rolling out his Florida congressional backers. ”For the first time ever, I hear from DeSantis’s political person,” he said, referring to aide RYAN TYSON, who reportedly contacted other Florida Republicans about their endorsements.

For Steube, the outreach was too little, too late. And he continues to have sharp words for DeSantis, criticizing him for his robust political travel schedule amid a busy legislative session and just months after winning a new four-year term.  “Floridians want him focused on Florida,” he said, “which is the job they elected him to do.” (read the entire article)

Like I said last year, once people get to see Ron DeSantis up close, his disdain for people just jumps out at you.  He loves standing at the podium telling you what’s wrong with you, and what is brilliant about himself; however, he just doesn’t like people in an authentic or natural way you would expect from executive leadership.

The same disconnected snobbery applies to everyone his team has recruited.

Ken Cuccinelli and Jeff Roe are two of the biggest self-important jackasses in national politics. They don’t carry an ounce of humility or introspection.  They are always right, and the problem is it just takes too long for everyone to come around to admitting how great they are.  This is the character of DeSantis that flows through everyone he associates with.  Here’s an example from one of the ‘influencers” a few days ago.

This Twitter account is connected to both Representative Thomas Massie and DeSantis campaign official Christina Pushaw:

That tweet encapsulates the worldview of the average Ron DeSantis supporter in Florida.

This is why the overwhelming majority of the Florida Republican delegation, will not endorse him.  These outlooks are toxic and elitist.  Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis did not wear elbow length silk gloves at the noon-time inauguration day event accidentally.  Casey already went shopping with Cindy McCain and has her 2024 tiara picked out.

As I keep saying, there are not enough people who take Instagram pictures of their lunches to make Ron DeSantis a viable candidate. The polo club, cocktail party circuit of people who eat crustless triangle cucumber sandwiches and look down their noses at everyone else, is just not a large enough coalition to win DeSantis the nomination.  It means he will have more money; however, factually, the professional donor class is annoying with the level of self-righteousness and condescension they promote.

WASHINGTON DC – […] In yet another blow to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’s not-yet-official presidential bid, two more Republican members of Congress from his own state are gearing to endorse Donald Trump for another term. Reps. Gus Bilirakis and Carlos Gimenez are each planning to announce their support for the former president this week, multiple sources familiar with the matter tell TIME.

Their pledges continue something of a downward spiral for DeSantis, who has been steadily losing ground in the endorsement battle for legislators from his own backyard. The development is even more noteworthy after his political team recently tried to stop the bleeding by asking Florida Republicans to refrain from endorsing Trump.

Bilirakis and Gimenez have also committed to be at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach on Thursday night, as the former President hosts members of the Florida delegation who have already endorsed him, including Reps. Matt Gaetz, Anna Paulina Luna, Cory Mills, and Greg Steube. It’s not clear yet whether Reps. Byron Donalds and John Rutherford, who have also endorsed Trump, will be at the gathering.

Neither Bilirakis nor Gimenez responded to requests for comment. Rep. Brian Mast, another Florida Republican, has also told associates he plans to formally back Trump in the coming days. And on Wednesday, Rep. Vern Buchanan officially thew his weight behind Trump. TIME reported last week that Buchanan was planning to endorse Trump in the coming days.

All of their endorsements will bring Trump’s tally of members of Congress from Florida to ten, whereas DeSantis has just one, Rep. Laurel Lee, who announced her support for the governor on Tuesday. Before winning her House seat last year, Lee served as DeSantis’s first Secretary of State. (read more)

Lance Gooden (R-TX) – “Today, after careful consideration and a positive meeting with Governor DeSantis, I have decided to endorse President @realDonaldTrump for 2024.”

Rolling Stone – […] “Over the past few years, the Florida governor has risen to Trump’s top internal rival without even declaring his candidacy. And part of that rise has been fueled by his pull with the GOP’s megadonor class, who prefer him to Trump because, while he brings a similar set of MAGAfied policies, he has not, to date, attempted a coup. That wellspring of financial support has been instrumental in fueling his rise, but the investments are predicated in large part on a belief that he can take down Donald.

That belief seems to be wavering, as the donor revolt has been brewing since at least last month. And it’s not just skittish donors like Richard Uihlein or Thomas Peterffy, who went public with his complaints last week. Several other top donors to DeSantis were livid about the governor referring to the brutal Russian invasion of Ukraine as a “territorial dispute,” with at least one major donor calling DeSantis to urge a walk-back, a source with knowledge of the outreach and another person briefed on it say. “My understanding is that the message was: ‘If we wanted a fucking MAGA candidate, we would donate to Donald Trump,’” the second source says.

[…] Those polling troubles may be giving some megadonors second thoughts. Sources familiar with Schlitz Brewing heir and shipping titan Richard Uihlein’s thinking told NBC News that the “brakes are pumped” with the megadonor’s DeSantis giving after the governor’s lackluster polling has given some “pause” about his viability.

Other conservatives have taken to predicting that DeSantis is potentially the second coming of Scott Walker, another Republican governor and conservative-media darling who many thought would be the favored candidate in a presidential primary — only to flame out before any ballots were cast. Current Polling Status According to Morning Consult – Ron DeSantis Heads to DC Looking for Establishment Help

Posted originally on the CTH on April 18, 2023 | Sundance | 317 Comments

Not much change in the last week according to the Morning Consult polling [DATA HERE]:

[Source Link]

The next two weeks are critical for the non-Trump team consisting of Ron DeSantis handlers, multinational corporations, GOPe professional political class, most elements of the RNC and the 2024 spearhead institution of the Republican Governors Association (RGA).  DeSantis handlers have him scheduled in Washington DC today, in an effort to circle the DeceptiCon wagons and fend off the MAGA insurgency.

However, as the DeSantis team call everyone trying to stop MAGA advancements, Florida Rep. Greg Steube became the fifth member of the sunshine state’s 20-member Republican congressional delegation to endorse former President Donald Trump for 2024.  [Details Here]

(Via Politico) – Steube’s endorsement came last night on Newsmax, and while campaign endorsements don’t win elections, they can feed a narrative about who’s up and who’s down. He contended Trump “is the only person that can reverse on Day 1 all these disastrous policies of the Biden administration. … We need to right all the wrongs that happened under this administration.” The southwest Florida representative added that Trump is “widely supported in my district, widely supported in Florida.”

Steube’s decision to endorse happened after reports came out that those in Gov. Ron DeSantis’ orbit reached out to GOP members of Congress last week. That outreach came in the wake of rumblings that several were poised to endorse Trump. Steube’s endorsement also comes on the eve of a DeSantis visit to Washington, D.C., where the likely presidential candidate is doing a meet and greet hosted by several Republicans, including two House members who have endorsed him — Chip Roy of Texas and Thomas Massie of Kentucky.

When asked about DeSantis, Steube noted that he just got reelected and said he hoped that he would continue “to concentrate” on his job as governor. “I hear from constituents all the time that want him to finish out his term and support President Trump,” Steube said on Newsmax. Steube then even took a bit of a swipe at DeSantis, noting his pending trip to D.C. and South Carolina while the Florida Legislature is in session. “His focus should be in Florida. Floridians want to be focused on Florida. That’s what he signed for his job for reelection to do.” (more)

Wall Street and the Sea Island billionaires backing DeSantis are all-in to stop Trump and the working-class coalition of supporters.   DeSantis has around $500 million in corporate dark money already on the SuperPAC books, and access to another estimated $500 million in the next three months.  That buys a lot of support from the professional political class and the grifting influencers.

Get ready, 2024 is MAGA burning the ships behind us.  This one is for all the marbles. This is not a place where tepid half-measures and gentlemanly pastels will suffice.  Get right with God, put on the armor, absorb the focus of fighting like the third monkey on the ramp to Noah’s ark and get comfortable being uncomfortable.

Our ally is anyone who stands beside us, right now. Our enemy is anyone who doesn’t.

The new sons and daughters of the revolution are going to look completely different.  The Green Dragon Tavern may be a church, a picnic table or a tailgate.  Our assembly is not focused on the labels of the assembled.   The mission is the purpose… The fight is wherever it surfaces…. Delicate sensibilities must be dispatched like a feather in a hurricane.
