Tucker Carlson Interviews Telegram CEO and Founder Pavel Durov

Posted originally on the CTH on April 17, 2024 | Sundance

Pavel Durov is the founder, owner and CEO of Telegram, a communication platform used by 900 million people globally to text, chat and video message privately with encryption security.  Telegram is an excellent tool for safe communication and has been used by me and others I know for several years.

In this interview Tucker Carlson discusses privacy and freedom in the modern era with Telegram founder and CEO Pavel Durov, a former citizen of Russia who was encouraged (under threat) by the Russian government to leave his country.  Pavel now lives in Dubai and operates Telegram from the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

For me personally, this is one of the best interviews I have watched Tucker Carlson deliver.  Part of the reason is the content of the discussion is exactly critical right now in the era of this global information war.

There is so much I could discuss from this interview alone it is remarkable; however, I want to focus on two specific points as highlighted: (1) the government interface, and (2) the geopolitical inversion currently underway.  WATCH:

First, I am in Russia. I arrived a few days ago, and this experience is a visit through bizarro world.  I will be sharing more, including an AMA on my experience in the next few articles.  Back to Pavel Durov, first…

The BASELINE – The Durov brothers are exceptionally gifted.  In reference to the principle of freedom and liberty that guides Pavel, he has my respect and I understand his value system with great clarity.  Pavel Durov recognized very early, much earlier than most, that information would be fulcrum challenge, and without private communication the value of information is always eroded.  Privacy is critical in order for accurate information to flow.  That is the value of Telegram.

I continue to receive strong negative opinion for my cynicism of Elon Musk.  However, pay close attention to what Pavel Durov says about his contacts with U.S. government officials and you will have a stronger baseline to understand part of why I do not trust Musk.

THE TOUCHES – Durov controls Telegram.  Durov is the owner and proprietor of Telegram.  Durov talks openly about the *touches* from U.S. intelligence and government officials toward him and his communication platform.  He is very open about the contacts by FBI and various intel officials, and notes those conversations were always unnerving.

Now, we ask ourselves: why have we never heard Twitter owner/operator Elon Musk talking about this issue.

Beyond the decade plus of independent research on these issues, we get a very good context for how the IC approaches and interacts with the communication platforms from this interview with Pavel Durov.  What he shares does not have to be taken at face value because we have background with which to review it.   Everything he said aligns with all the research on these issues we have previously discussed.  Quite simply, he’s telling the truth as we know it to be.

That said, where is this conversation from Elon Musk?  Where is Musk discussing the government contacts and intentions of the intelligence apparatus, FBI, DHS and various Intelligence Community institutions toward the Twitter platform.

I cannot overlook that Elon Musk was talking about the importance of user privacy and security at the exact same time he was secretly complying with the DOJ to give the metadata of all Donald Trump supporters from his platform.  These things do not reconcile, and I refuse to pretend this conflict does not exist.

♦ The INVERSION – I call the change in freedom and liberty values West to East an inversion.  Pavel Durov does not note this directly, but he outlines the basic issues within his discussion and experience.

For decades the USA and proverbial “west” transmitted messages of freedom and liberty into the “east.”  We are all familiar with radio and television broadcasts, and specifically the content therein, from the free West that were blocked by what we called the oppressive East.

There are millions of stories, movies and books written describing how the west tried to send communication to the east showcasing the value of free markets, liberty, and freedom in general.   However, in the past 20 years, since the advent of the internet something very curious has happened.

I can tell you from personal experience that now it is the WEST who are blocking the ability of the people from the EAST to receive the message.  If you in the EASTERN zone (grey) and you attempt to engage in several communication platforms that connect to the WESTERN zone (yellow), you are more likely to find yourself blocked by the WEST.

Why would the USA or western alliance block the ability of those outside the west to engage with their platforms?  One could make the argument they are putting walls around the USA/WEST not to keep the East out but to keep the west locked-in to a specific narrative.

In the example of Russia, I originally thought the blocking issue was exclusive to banking and finance; however, the restricted interface extends beyond those explainable by sanctions.  In the modern communication era, some information is more equal than others.

What Pavel outlines about the Russian government asking him for data on users, is identical to what the Twitter files outlined about the U.S government asking the platform for users.  Pavel refused to participate; Jack Dorsey willingly participated.

Who is Binaifer Nowrojee? The Incoming President of Open Society Foundations

Posted ortiginslly on Apr 16, 2024 By Martin Armstrong

Binaifer Nowrojee

Binaifer Nowrojee has been appointed as the president of George Soros’ Open Society Foundations (OSF) as Mark Malloch-Brown plans to officially step down in June. The Open Society Foundation is openly interfering in elections throughout the world and funding the globalist agenda. George appointed his son, Alex Soros, chairman of his foundation in December 2022. So, who is Binaifer Nowrojee?

Born in London, raised in Kenya, with an Indian heritage, Nowrojee is the daughter and granddaughter of well-known lawyers in Kenya. Pheroze Nowrojee, her father, helped to overturn the Raila presidential election of 2017. “It had taken us 25 years to achieve this overturning of the constant practice of rigging by those in power,” he said after the Supreme Court nullified the results for that election, claiming that they failed to comply with Kenya’s constitution. “We had set the correct goal of all future politics and public endeavour in Kenya. We have hard work ahead to ensure the application of this principle as widely as necessary in public service.”

Some have accused her father of meddling in African politics. When asked whether the Kenyan Constitution needed amendments, he replied:

“Constitutional amendments are not what individuals want or do not want, but what the national circumstances show over time and at different times to be a better option. The unity of our many peoples, the integrity of the nation, the experience of our drafting errors of the past, or of machinery that is not working as was intended in 2010. These dictate not only when but what amendments may be preferable or not.”

Binaifer was born to lead the OSF with a lineage of overturning elections.

She has been working with the Open Society Foundations for years in senior leadership roles across Asia and East Africa for over two decades. A Harvard Law School graduate, Nowrojee also holds a JD from Columbia Law School – an academic. She spent a decade on staff at the Human Rights Watch, an OSF grantee organization, and held a position at the Lawyers Committee for Human Rights. She has been praised for being the first woman of color to hold this role at the OSF.

One of her first measures as incoming president was to reduce the staff size of the OSF by an astounding 40%. It will be easier to ensure everyone is completely in line with the agenda. “As we navigate the remaining elements of change, I promise, first and foremost, to remain committed to Open Society values and to George Soros’s vision of critical thinking, local knowledge, and risk-taking,” she told the AP. The OSF does not have a clear budget

Alex Soros has already directed the foundation to begin honing in on America opposed to Europe, as they have their fingers in the European Union, but America has yet to be tamed. Civil unrest is growing as Biden has lost all but 8% of supporters and cannot even hold a fundraiser on his own without roping in two former presidents. Will Binaifer follow in her father’s footsteps and look to overturn an election?

Imagine Waking from an 8-Year Coma – Reflections from the Last ECM Wave

BIG BANG ECM 2015.75

The year 2015 was not long ago, and yet the entire world economy has changed. Central banks mismanaged monetary policy through arbitrarily low interest rates and continuous printing to appease the bigger issue—fiscal policy. Fiscal policies are all but nonexistent in most of the modern world, and government spending has become one of the largest threats to the global economy. The COVID lockdown pushed these issues into overdrive, and world leaders usurped power that they have refused to relinquish.

Debt Crisis

This is a global issue. Canada’s opposition leader Pierre Poilievre has highlighted how much has changed within one ECM cycle, as the last major turning point hit in 2015, and asked Parliament to imagine they had awoken from an 8-year coma.

Eight short years ago, Canada boasted one of the strongest middle classes in the modern world, surpassing that of America. Taxes were actually declining in Canada, falling faster than at any other time in the nation’s history. Crime had decreased by -25%, and people felt safe in their hometowns. The immigration system was efficient, the borders were closed, and there was no migrant crisis. Housing was affordable, costing less than half of what it does today. The nation had a balanced budget.

ECM 2015 2020 Detailed

Poilievre mentioned that there were global conflicts at the time in Syria, Afghanistan, and even Ukraine but none of them were causing inflation at home. Prime Minister Harper had much different policies in place.

Inflation is now rampant, and even after hitting a 40-year high in 2023, it remains 50% above the 2% central bank target. Canada’s economy is shrinking per capita and is expected to have the worst OECD growth of all 40 member countries for the next five years. There is a massive housing crisis in Canada, surpassing that of America, and homelessness is on the rise. The Canadian borders are open, migrants are encouraged to come to the nation despite the lack of housing, and millions of unvetted migrants are now within Canadian boundaries. Taxes are rapidly rising as Trudeau supports World Economic Forum initiatives like carbon taxes and reducing fossil fuels at the expense of the people. Canada has sent a fortune to Ukraine and continues recklessly spending on initiatives that in no way benefit Canadians.

Poilievre is on Trudeau’s tail. It is no wonder that nearly half of Canadians wish to elect a new leader in 2024 instead of 2025. Trudeau is losing his grip over the Canadian people who have become disgruntled with the unsustainable cost of living, rising crime,  and increasingly tyrannical government.

It is incredible how much can change within one wave of the ECM. I can assure you that the world will be a very different place by the next one.

We are TOO Stupid to Vote

Greek Philosophers

Aristotle believed that after Pericles died in 429 BCE, the demos continually appointed charismatic demagogues who damaged Athenian democracy. The three main Greek philosophers were against Democracy because the people were too stupid and uneducated. This is where we had even John Kerry claiming Trump’s election was because of “populism,” and this must be prevented.

Huxley

Once again, the United Nations discourages individualism with this same philosophy that we are too ignorant to understand what they know. As Sir Huxley wrote when forming the United Nations, “unrestricted individualism is equally erroneous.” So much for human rights. We should have no right to vote, and in reality, these people claim to be defending democracy against autocracy when, in fact, we do not live in a democracy at all. They call Russia an autocracy when, in fact, we have no right to vote if we should go to war. We are too ignorant to know what to do in life.

Schwab WEF End of Democracy

There is an all-out assault on Democracy, and it is not from Trump. Here is Klaus Schwab, who is the poster child for authoritarian government and the suppression of human rights. We are too stupid to be allowed to vote since we are beneath the level of intelligence of those who know better. When Trump was elected, that is when Democracy became Populism – and that was not acceptable.

Congress Plans New Funding Push for Israel and Ukraine as Iran Fires Missiles Toward Jerusalem

In a moment of serendipitous timing for Zelenskyy, Iran fired approximately 300 drone missiles toward Israel.   Now Congress is promoting further funding for Israel and Ukraine. Serendipitous serendipity strikes again.

Keep in mind, the flight time over the 1,000-mile distance provided plenty of time for Israel to prepare and respond with countermeasures, making a suspicious type of person wonder why Iran would even go through the exercise.

“Given the events of tonight, it is even clearer that the best way to help Israel is for the House to quickly pass the Senate’s bipartisan national security supplemental next week,” Chuck Schumer said. The House has so far declined to take a vote on the Senate-passed legislation with many House conservatives opposed to sending additional Ukraine and wanted stricter border policies included in an aid package.  (LINK)  Huh, funny that.

As if on cue…

“The House Republicans and the Republican Party understand the necessity of standing with Israel. We’re going to try again this week, and the details of that package are being put together right now. We’re looking at the options and all these supplemental issues,” Speaker Mike Johnson said on Fox’s Sunday Morning Futures. (LINK)  Wow, what a remarkable coincidence. Amazing.

More than anything else, I always appreciate the way Nic Robertson provides the dramatic approach toward the needs and requests of the U.S. Dept of State and CIA.   He’s really good at this. WATCH:

As a precursor, I am suggesting to all site admins (Ad Rem, Stella, Menagerie and Weed) that we begin instituting stronger commenting moderation controls; not to limit speech, but to eliminate distracting agenda voices. The reason for this is simple, I can see “control operatives” on these pages.

It’s not hard to see because they, some might call them online trolls – I prefer to think of them as DHS compliance officers, all use four basic elements of construct that are not usually visible amid our openly honest community:

  1. They pretend not to know things.
  2. They are arbitrary in the extreme.
  3. They are capricious and combative.
  4. They are intellectually dishonest.

.BACKGROUND CONTEXT

Time and communication bandwidth is at a premium for me.  You will soon understand why in this tech space of my geography, it is more efficient to communicate publicly.

Now, with eyes-wide-open, let’s address the nonsense within our fellowship.  Train yourself to see this stuff, and you will develop a level of instinctual awareness that will drive the DHS folks bananas.

[As a general baseline, RFK Jr. is an intelligence community asset and operation.  All of the assembled data points in this direction. In short, the RFK Jr. tradecraft is visible; start from that assumption, and everything makes sense.]

Pay attention to what KEITH writes.  Note the arbitrary, capricious and intellectually dishonest framework.

To get the Nunes memo declassified, both President Trump and Devin Nunes used the leverage of FISA-702 reauthorization to force the IC to declassify it.  If the ODNI, FBI and DOJ did not agree to declassify the memo and make it public, then 702 would be allowed to expire, and the IC would lose their currency

Trump should have just ordered it declassified. He was the president after all. He didn’t have to placate the ODNI, FBI, and DOJ. If anyone in the leadership voiced an objection Trump should have used his trademark phrase “You’re fired!” on them.

RFK is right. Trump should not have reauthorized FISA 702 but he allowed people around him to manipulate him into capitulating to the deep state. That was the root of Trump’s major failings as President. He never was able to put his hands on the reins of power. Would Trump do better in a second term? Did he learn his lesson? I don’t think so after seeing him commend Speaker Johnson at Mar-A-Lago on the “good job” Johnson was doing just hours after Johnson cast the tie vote to re-authorize FISA 702. (Comment Link)

Keith may be new, or Keith may be acting intellectually dishonest as part of his pretense.  Regardless, all of these issues have previously been covered in depth on these pages; therefore, I view Keith as the latter – intentionally dishonest.

{GO DEEP (problem) and GO DEEP (solution)}

There is no entity outside the Intelligence Branch, and yes that includes the President of the United States, who can supersede the classification authority of the Intelligence Branch. {Go Deep} and {Go Deep} This is something 99.9% of the people on our side get totally and frustratingly wrong.

No one can declassify, or make public, anything the Intelligence Branch will not agree to. Doubt this?  Ask Ric Grenell, John Ratcliffe, or even President Trump himself.

• The classification process is determined inside the Intelligence Branch, all by themselves. They get to choose what rank of classification exists on any work-product they create; and they get to decide what the classification status is of any work product that is created by anyone else. The Intelligence Branch has full control over what is considered classified information and what is not. The Intelligence Branch defines what is a “national security interest” and what is not. A great technique for hiding fingerprints of corrupt and illegal activity.

Similarly, the declassification process is a request by an agency, even a traditionally superior agency like the President of the United States, to the Intelligence Branch asking for them to release the information. The Intelligence Branch again holds full unilateral control. If the head of the CIA refuses to comply with the declassification instruction of the President, what can the president do except fire him/her? {Again, GO DEEPHow does the President replace the non-compliant cabinet member?  They have to go through the SSCI confirmation.  See the problem?

Now let me move on to DHS officer ACE TWITTLY:

“Trump has reauthorized Sec. 702 of FISA when he was President and Nunes has just recently co-signed a letter encouraging the Congress to reauthorize Sec. 702 of FISA again.

They are all playing us.

And by the way, the Sec. 702 is not a problem; a total lack of accountability certainly is. Nobody prevents the government from prosecuting the intel. contractors and firing people at the FBI for the unauthorized use of the gov. databases. They just don’t do it.

The judges could sanction each FBI lawyer for lying to the court. Did they do that? No, they didn’t. Why?

It’s a big corrupt club… and they all hate us.” {Comment Link}

Again, notice the elements of intellectual dishonesty, arbitrary and capricious commentary pretending not to know things.

Nunes did not “recently co-sign a letter encouraging Congress to reauthorize Sec. 702 again“.  Genuine Treehouse readers know the letter that Mike Turner lied in the construct of a letter, apparently the letter cited.

[Source]

If the 702-reauthorization bill that passed the HPSCI committee vote is as bad everyone says it is (which it is), and if the bill completely ignores the reforms that were suggested and advocated for by Kash Patel and Devin Nunes and others (which it does), then how does Kash Patel reconcile his former boss Devin Nunes supporting the bill per Mike Turner?

The reconciliation to this dynamic is found inside the issue I have written about.

Mike Turner is lying about the support from John Ratcliffe and Devin Nunes for the HPSCI FISA-702 reauthorization bill.  Ratcliffe and Nunes do not support the Turner construct.

But wait, if that is true (which it is), then why are Ratcliffe, Nunes, and by extension Patel, silent about Turner’s false support claims?

The answer….  Institutional preservation of the HPSCI compartment, and a desire for access therein.

Yes, that is correct.  They will rage against the outcome of the institutional endeavor, but only so far as the value of the institution itself must be maintained.  Ratcliffe, Nunes and yes, Kash Patel are functionaries of the system.  Their sense of identity is dependent on the system.

To remind….

The CIA director, NSA director, ODNI, FBI Director, etc are not in charge of the compartments they represent. They are simply functionaries -middle men- who operate in the space between where the compass points are directed, where the data originates, and oversight of that data that is ultimately filtered and delivered to the functionaries, who then brief the representatives…. who then create policy… albeit flawed policy…. based on a very specific, controlled, compartmented and skewed information flow. (more)

The value of Kash Patel’s institutional currency is connected to his access – even with Republicans in charge.  The same is true for Devin Nunes and John Ratcliffe.

The institutional leadership, those functionaries in control of the compartment (silo), can block access to the silo thereby devaluing the career currency of other functionaries.  The DC preservation system is contingent upon this process being retained.

Nunes, Ratcliffe and Patel will not speak honestly about the Mike Turner outcome – specifically as it relates to the conniving manipulation therein (ie. it’s a f**king lie) – because they would run the risk of being ostracized from the HPSCI compartment  from which their value is determined.

The institutional corruption is retained, yet they rail against the outcome of the institutional corruption.  See the game?

If this were not the case, Mike Turner would be directly confronted, the lies and manipulations exposed, and a very serious battle would take place publicly.

Unfortunately, that public battle is viewed as too risky.  As a result, the corrupt DC functionaries operate without any accountability, no corrective action takes place, no accountability is metered out, and WORSE…. the oblivious general public cheer on the people like Patel who give the illusion they are railing against corruption.

For those who choose denial and pretending over the brutal reality of the example expressed, your criticism of me is irrelevant.  The truth exists regardless of your comfort level.

Accepting you are an abused victim to professional gaslighting, manipulation and Machiavellian deceit, carried out by those who claim to be your allies, is painful and unnerving.  However, failing to accept the reality of the example cited only retains your status as a victim, a codependent enabler, a battered conservative.

It is a remarkable dynamic.  Many people can see how the functionaries played against President Donald Trump this way, but they cannot see how they, themselves, are continually being played.

In Twitter File release #8, the basic outline showed how the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and U.S. State Department (DoS) worked with the social media platforms to amplify messaging and create specifically anonymous government accounts intended to spread propaganda globally. [Twitter File Release #8 Here]  The government then asks the platform engineering side to boost the messaging of the government accounts and use the internal tools to promote government users.  Essentially, social media propaganda.

There is no reason to believe this effort was/is limited to Twitter.  Additionally, now they have AI to assist along with 1.1 million previously dormant defense department IP addresses to activate accounts from.

Stay frosty!

The LEFT is Winning

The LEFT is ALWAYS much more violent than the RIGHT. The simple difference is that the core philosophy of the RIGHT is you leave me alone, and I will leave you alone. But the core philosophy of the LEFT is always concerned about other people, from them making more than they do to being more successful in general. The LEFT always portrays themselves as VICTIMS, and they are always oppressed because of others. It’s just not fair to them that someone gets a new car and they can’t afford it.

The Night of Terror Suffragists 1917

Ironically, women did not need to vote before socialism. There was no income tax, and the real issue would be national policies and war that did not impact the individual – man or woman. Once the United States turned to socialism, then every individual, regardless of their gender or race, was entitled to vote since now laws were being imposed on personal activity and income. The LEFT has always claimed they care, but in truth, they have always been the oppressors throughout history, seeking to dictate every aspect of how people lived their lives.

1913 Income Tax

The LEFT championed the income tax and swore they were only attacking the rich. Now, you must file an income tax form to say you do not owe any tax. The crime is NOT failing to pay the tax; it is FAILURE TO FILE. We are running full-speed into Digital Currencies because the LEFT cannot sleep at night worrying about everyone getting cash under the table.

We just went through an audit in Florida, where we have no state income tax, but we have to collect unemployment taxes from workers. They were looking to see if we were paying CONTRACT WORKERS who are not on the payroll. I said we do not have such workers, which did not matter. We had to go through the audit explaining payments made to other companies, and they would check on them to ensure they were an actual company. After three months of an audit and legal and accounting fees in excess of $50,000, we ended up owing nothing – thank you very much for not believing me in the first place.

magnify searching people

Welcome to the LEFT – they care so much about us, they do not believe anything we ever say – we are all just liars and scum. The assumption in government is that “We the People” never pay the taxes they demand. Everyone skims 35% off what they would really owe.

tracing cripto footsteps

The solution is to eliminate ALL paper money, including crypto, and force us to use their coming digital currencies that can be traced back to their origin. If I give you a $100 bill, they do not know who gave it to me. But if it is a crypto, they know every person in that chain before me. Nobody knows who created blockchain because it was the government, and they created Bitcoin to sell this idea to the people, saying that it would be separate from the central banks and anti-fiat. Welcome to the actual end game – the government will get EVERY penny of tax they ever dreamed of.

The LEFT has won! They will monitor absolutely EVERYTHING you do!

26 Barges Break Loose on Ohio River

Posted originally on the CTH on April 13, 2024 | Sundance

Friday night a total of 26 barges, 23 loaded and 3 empty, broke loose from their moorings along the Ohio River near Pittsburgh and floated uncontrolled until they were mostly recovered. There were no reports of injuries, but a marina sustained extensive damage in the incident.

The Pittsburgh Public Safety said in a statement, “At 11:25 p.m., Pittsburgh Fire, EMS, and Police were dispatched for reports of barges breaking loose and floating uncontrolled down the Ohio River.

In total, 26 barges broke loose; 23 were loaded and three were empty. Those that were loaded had dry cargo such as coal, and no hazardous materials on board. There have been no reports of people injured, but Peggy’s Marina sustained extensive damage.

Eleven of the barges have been located and pinned against the river bank by Brunot Island and currently being held by a tugboat. Fourteen continued down the river and six have gone over the Emsworth Dam.

The barges are owned or operated by Campbell Transportation Company located on the left descending bank of the Ohio River, just downstream from the McKees Rocks Bridge.

The West End Bridge was closed in both directions and rail traffic was shut down on the rail bridge to Brunot Island. Both will be reopened when it is determined that it is safe to do so.

The Coast Guard, Pennsylvania State Police, and various law enforcement, EMS agencies, and fire departments in neighboring jurisdictions have been notified.” (LINK

Campbell Transportation Company, Inc. is actively responding to a recent development involving a multi-barge breakaway in Pittsburgh. Our immediate priority is ensuring public safety and minimizing any potential environmental impact,” the statement read. “The incident occurred under high water conditions on the rivers resulting in strong currents due to flooding in the area.” (SOURCE)
