COMMENT: I am really, really upset and astonished by ”A LETTER FROM A CONSTITUENT ABOUT HOW HE ADVISED HIS TEENAGE DAUGHTER ON ‘CLIMATE CHANGE’”.
I am certain that there are more points to be made but here is mine:
Bicycle Do you know they are made of steel, aluminum, plastic, rubber, etc, etc. All ingredients devastating to our planet. The only sensible solution is to walk or if you are in a hurry run. By the way, running will keep you warm.
Cold shower Well I suppose that the water is brought to the house in buckets, made out of some material not harming the environment, from a nearby stream of water. In the winter ok if not possible then sorry, you have to wait for the spring. This will also save a lot of water and cleaning of effluents.
WiFi Oh my god! That means she has a mobile, tablet and/or computer! Discard all of them. Of course in a safe way. Certified recycler is nearby I suppose so you don’t have to walk too far.
Horsehair pillow Are you for real? For that, she needs a horse. Why not start with the primary ingredient for growing a horse, HAY! Which by the way is perfect for the mattress. Maybe she can cut off her own hair and stuff her pillow?
I really hope that your wonderful off-spring survives until summer.
A LETTER FROM A CONSTITUENT ABOUT HOW HE ADVISED HIS TEENAGE DAUGHTER ON ‘CLIMATE CHANGE’:
After our daughter of fifteen years of age was moved to tears by the speech of Greta Thunberg at the UN the other day, she became angry with our generation “who had been doing nothing for thirty years.”
So, we decided to help her prevent what the girl on TV announced of “massive eradication and the disappearance of entire ecosystems.”
We are now committed to give our daughter a future again, by doing our part to help cool the planet four degrees.
From now on she will go to school on a bicycle, because driving her by car costs fuel, and fuel puts emissions into the atmosphere. Of course it will be winter soon and then she will want to go by bus, but cycling through the freezing builds resilience.
Of course, she is now asking for an electric bicycle, but we have shown her the devastation caused to the areas of the planet as a result of mining for the extraction of Lithium and other minerals used to make batteries for electric bicycles, so she will be pedaling, or walking.
Which will not harm her, or the planet. We used to cycle and walk to school too.
Since the girl on TV demanded “we need to get rid of our dependency on fossil fuels” and our daughter agreed with her, we have disconnected the heat vent in her room. The temperature is now dropping to twelve degrees in the evening, and will drop below freezing in the winter, we have promised to buy her an extra sweater, hat, tights, gloves and a blanket.
For the same reason we have decided that from now on she only takes a cold shower. She will wash her clothes by hand, with a wooden washboard, because the washing machine is simply a power consumer and since the dryer uses natural gas, she will hang her clothes on the clothes line to dry, just like my parents and grandparents used to do.
Speaking of clothes, the ones that she currently has are all synthetic, so made from petroleum. Therefore on Monday, we will bring all her designer clothing to the secondhand shop.
We have found an eco store where the only clothing they sell is made from undyed and unbleached linen and jute. Also can’t have clothes made on wool, because the emissions from farting sheep are supposedly causing bad weather.
It shouldn’t matter that it looks good on her, or that she is going to be laughed at, dressing in colorless, bland clothes and without a wireless bra, but that is the price she has to pay for the benefit of The Climate.
Cotton is out of the question, as it comes from distant lands and pesticides are used for it. Very bad for the environment.
We just saw on her Instagram that she’s pretty angry with us. This was not our intention.
From now on, at 7 p.m. We will turn off the WiFi and we will only switch it on again the next day after dinner for two hours. In this way we will save on electricity, so she is not bothered by electro-stress and will be totally isolated from the outside world. This way, she can concentrate solely on her homework. At eleven o’clock in the evening we will pull the breaker to shut the power off to her room, so she knows that dark is really dark. That will save a lot of CO2.
She will no longer be participating in winter sports to ski lodges and resorts, nor will she be going on anymore vacations with us, because our vacation destinations are practically inaccessible by bicycle.
Since our daughter fully agrees with the girl on TV that the CO2 emissions and footprints of her great-grandparents are to blame for ‘killing our planet’, what all this simply means, is that she also has to live like her great-grandparents and they never had a holiday, a car or even a bicycle.
We haven’t talked about the carbon footprint of food yet.
Zero CO2 footprint means no meat, no fish and no poultry, but also no meat substitutes that are based on soy (after all, that grows in farmers fields, that use machinery to harvest the beans, trucks to transport to the processing plants, where more energy is used, then trucked to the packaging/canning plants, and trucked once again to the stores) and also no imported food, because that has a negative ecological effect. And absolutely no chocolate from Africa, no coffee from South America and no tea from Asia.
Only homegrown potatoes, vegetables and fruit that have been grown in local cold soil, because greenhouses run on boilers, piped in CO2 and artificial light. Apparently, these things are also bad for The Climate. We will teach her how to grow her own food.
Bread is still possible, but butter, milk, cheese and yogurt, cottage cheese and cream come from cows and they emit CO2. No more margarine and no oils will be used for the frying pan, because that fat is palm oil from plantations in Borneo where rain forests first grew.
No ice cream in the summer. No soft drinks and no energy drinks, as the bubbles are CO2.
We will also ban all plastic, because it comes from chemical factories. Everything made of steel and aluminum must also be removed. Have you ever seen the amount of energy a blast furnace consumes or an aluminum smelter? All bad for the climate!
We will replace her memory foam pillow top mattress, with a jute bag filled with straw, with a horse hair pillow.
And finally, she will no longer be using makeup, soap, shampoo, cream, lotion, conditioner, toothpaste and medication. Facewashers will all be linen, that she can wash by hand, with her wooden washboard, just like her female ancestors did before climate change made her angry at us for destroying her future.
In this way we will help her to do her part to prevent mass extinction, water levels rising and the disappearance of entire ecosystems.
If she truly believes she wants to walk the talk of the girl on TV, she will gladly accept and happily embrace her new way of life.
A reader reminded me that the leader of the Khmer Rouge, Pol Pot, embraced the same ideals we are listening to in the rising trend of socialism and climate change. Pot came to admire the tribes in Cambodia’s rural northeast. He saw these people were self-sufficient and lived on the goods they produced through subsistence farming. He embraced Marxism and saw modern society as evil, as we are hearing once again in the climate change movement.
The Cambodian tribes, from Pot’s perspective, were like communes that worked together and shared everything from their collective labor. He touted that they were the example of how life should be — untainted by the evils of money, wealth and religion
In trying to force society back to a rural commune, there was mass starvation that became known as the Killing Fields.
This is a reoccurring problem where people simply hate technology and want to force the world back to a simplistic life. If Cambodia serves as yet another warning of this admixture of socialism and climate, then indeed the future does not appear to be very bright when we continually have to confront these people time and time again. In Europe, you are not even allowed to criticize climate change. Already, it has become a religion and how dare you speak out against it for you are an evil person.
Greta Thunberg is being coached by Greenpeace’s Jennifer Morgan who attended Davos along with Al Gore. Greenpeace is funding Greta and their donors are a long list of socialists. Greta showed up just days before the election in Alberta, Canada, to tell the people they should surrender their jobs because of climate change. What is even more fascinating is that this is not being covered at all in Europe. They are not allowed to report that Greta is being groomed by Greenpeace and they were not allowed to report that she was flown into Canada to try to influence the election.
Greenpeace has a long history of violence and now they found Greta to get attention like never before. They are strategically well aware that people will listen to Greta before they would ever listen to an adult. Greenpeace is out to accomplish a similar type of goal that was attempted in Cambodia. Back to a rural lifestyle, end fossil fuels, reduce the population and end technological evolution. As the Khmer Rouge, they too are Marxists who prefer to call themselves “Progressives” when in fact it is regression they seek to impose.
So while they launched a huge investigation about Russia trying to influence the US elections, not a single word will ever be reported about how Greenpeace is using Greta to get into governments and even Davos. Because she is a child, everyone is afraid to criticize her. Jennifer Morgan would NEVER get into Davos on behalf of Greenpeace. Greta is the key to the world. With Greta, they get about $20 million in donations to force the world onto the agenda of Greenpeace.

I read this blog post and took a look at Nasa´s own homepage. Well, they are surely promoting this climate change hysteria.
What I would like to know is if it is declining according to these statistics how do they think they can get away with this scam?
Also when I look at the statistics it looks to me as if it´s actually increasing …?
Could you please explain
REPLY: The chart is the rate of change. These people are claiming this is a climate emergency. Taking NASA’s data, yes the PPM is rising but the rate of change has been declining. So there is no climate emergency. On top of that, the times where there have been spike correlate to war, not to the number of cars on the road. I have stated before that there is ABSOLUTE proof that carrots are deadly because every person who has ever eaten a carrot has eventually died. That is an undeniable correct statement. But omitted is the fact that even those who have never eaten a carrot has also eventually died.
The book that started all this nonsense was written by paleontologist Peter D. Ward entitled “Under a Green Sky” published in 2007. He theorized that the proposition of simply measuring the average CO2 concentration and concluding that CO2 was the reason for mass extinctions is a really questionable analysis. It is true that CO2 levels have been massively higher than they are today. Looking at his chart, we are at a historic low similar to the 5,000-year low in interest rates. Any uptick is by no means cause for the assumption that will become extinct in 12 years. Ward argued that the Permian Extinction event was distinguished with very high atmospheric CO2 (3,000 ppm) levels which created a runaway Greenhouse Effect. According to current measurements, we are at the 400 level. There is not enough data to confirm his theory is correct.
Moreover, the 1930s saw the coldest period in modern history and that is when CO2 level rose the most. There was cooling, not warming. All the charts these people use are from 1850 forward. Historically, CO2 has been substantially higher well before the Industrial Revolution.
The chart I have shown is the rate of change, not the empirical level which they show. This is like a market that presses high but is running out of momentum. The rate of change is slowing down warning there is not climate emergency that these people are claiming.
I find it curious that the sharp increases in CO2 correlate to wars. It peaked in 1930s and began to decline. The 30’s were the coldest period.

COMMENT: Awesome !!!!
Yeah that’s you Martin !
Also the Climate Change hysteria. I’ve been on that for 30 years. You are spot on.
I took 3 semesters of geology and ran the lab for my professor. He specialized in glaciology.
Martin I feel that outside of the deep state running the show and moving us into a confrontation with Russia, and a false launch, and im sure you know we have had several close calls, this climate change thing is i think in the top 5 threats to humanity. This has developed into a all encompassing religion (one completely devoid of sound science) that the globalist will use to control and limit humanity and impoverish us all.
Your assertions on this topic are spot on. My professor did actual field research in glaciology that clearly showed the mile thick ice in the Midwest.
I say to anyone who will listen, in order for me to buy what they are selling,i have to disregard much if my education from college and after from books I’ve read. Unbelievable how this deep state, media, educational
elite have deceived the people.
Enjoyed the emails – thanks Martin
REPLY: I find it amazing how people just embrace this climate change without any documentation. Geology has been a fascinating science and people do not understand that we can trace the movement of the polls based upon the magnetism of the rocks. There is something far more important than greenhouse gas and if everyone stopped having children, did not heat their home, stopped going to work, they are not going to change the fate of the planet. We are either the a fly on the rear-end of an elephant or at best a flea on a dog who finds us irritating. The planet in millions if not billions of years old and we have been around for perhaps 300,000 years.
The far more pressing issue is the risk of global cooling with solar minimum for that is when volcanoes seem to erupt on a simple correlation model. This is also perhaps when the polls flip. Even NASA is now forecasting the the next solar cycle will be the lowest in 200 years. Going into 2025, my concerns are definitely we will see a greater risk of drastic climate changes which they will distort into human caused rather than address a serious issue that may lead to major civil unrest.
