Calif. School District Decides Learning about Diversity Is More Important Than Learning Geography

Re-education camps — or I mean Public Schools!

El Rancho Verde Unified School District will stop requiring its high-school students to take geography and instead require them to take a class on diversity and inclusion.

ERUSD president Aurora Villon said the class is necessary because minority students “need to feel validated.”

“When you negate their culture, they feel less than other students,” she said in an e-mail to Whittier Daily News.

House Curbs Obama’s Deportation Delays in Border Deal

The real problem is Obama since he will not enforce the existing laws, so why would anyone thing he would enforce any law he “personally” didn’t agree with. Making laws is not his job that is congress’s job but the Senate which is controlled by Obama blocks anything for the “peoples” house the house of Representatives; 435 members verses only 100 in the Senate.

deacon303's avatarWhiskey Tango Foxtrot

House Republicans worked overtime last night to pass two bills addressing the border crisis — measures all but certain to die in the Senate  – hours after President Obama threatened to act on his own.

“I’m gonna have to act alone,” Obama told reporters during an afternoon briefing, dismissing the House’s emergency spending bill in response to the surge of unaccompanied children from Central America as “extreme” and “unworkable.” The president added:

I have already been very clear. We will run out of money. We’re going to have to reallocate some resources so we can do basic functions, whether it’s making sure kids are properly housed or that there enough immigration judges to hear their cases.

In a 223-189 vote late last night, however, the House passed a revision of  legislation Speaker John A. Boehner dramatically pulled from consideration Thursday because of opposition from conservatives.

More dramatically, the House voted 216-192…

It is the Rule of Law that has made our country exceptional. The same Rule of Law will protect you if you want to become an American or a legal resident.

The law doesn’t apply evenly in your country of origin; the consequence of lawlessness is what made you run away. But now you are asking us to ignore our own laws and make exceptions that are favorable to you. Be careful what you ask for, you have personally lived the consequences of “exceptions” to the Rule of Law.

We are trying to make our corrupt government accountable. We feel the obligation to teach you how to make your own governments accountable! We welcome all of those that are yearning to be free, we ask you to respect our laws. Come here legally and in an orderly manner.

The Bureaucracy is Out of Control

Re-Posted on Armstrong Economics August 1, 2014 by Martin Armstrong

Obama should just resign. He is outrageous. He supported the NSA and has claimed the CIA does not spy on Congress. Well, the Inspector General has released his report and oops – yes the CIA spies on Congress.

Let’s get real here. I have reported that for 2 years speaking and communicating with people on the House Financial Services Committee (banking), they were telling me that the NSA was sweeping up even their emails and phone calls way before Snowden. I was told that point-blank and not in confidence. Therefore, EVERY journalist had that SAME info and refused to report it. Snowden had to go to the Guardian in Britain to get the story out because WE HAVE NO PRESS WITH INTEGRITY that is still standing in the United States.

Now they are all reporting the CIA spies on Congress (see New York Times). The executive branch led by the President controls the Judiciary as well and it is normally at war with Congress. Obama has used the NSA, IRS, and the CIA to attack everyone. At some point these people behind the curtain are the unelected. They threaten and blackmail people as part of their routine. I have seen this first hand and you do not grasp pure evil until you see it in their eyes. These types of people see themselves so above everyone else and bask in their power to destroy anyone or anything they deem inappropriate. Where this will all end is written in history and it is never pretty. Obama is either a stooge or part of the real danger to the survivability of our nation long-term intact.

Common Core rewrites American History for High School

U.S. history takes drastic left turn this fall AP course ‘rewrites America’s past, cuts out Founding Fathers’

Re-Posted from WND by John Aman is a writer and communications consultant August 3, 2014

High-school history teachers nationwide will give their top students a dark retelling of U.S. history this fall, courtesy of the College Board, a nonprofit college readiness firm led by Common Core architect David Coleman.

The College Board – which administers AP (advanced placement) courses and tests – is rolling out a revised curriculum framework for AP U.S. history, offering the 450,000 students who take AP U.S. history classes a hero-free account of America’s deeply stained past.

Peter Wood, president of the National Association of Scholars, calls the new AP U.S. history framework “a briefing document on progressive and leftist views of the American past,” one which “weaves together a vaguely Marxist or at least materialist reading of the key events with the whole litany of identity group grievances.”

Conservative author Stanley Kurtz asserts the College Board is “pushing U.S. history as far to the left as it can get away with at the high-school level.”

The new 124-page history curriculum is a dramatic departure from the five-page outline previously supplied by the College Board to guide AP U.S. history instructors. A much more detailed “history from below,” it focuses on how native Indians and Africans suffered at the hands of Europeans in the New World.

Founding Fathers omitted

It deletes the Pilgrims, John Winthrop, James Madison, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Franklin, Alexis de Tocqueville, Abraham Lincoln and other long-celebrated figures central to America’s founding and growth.

In their place, America’s future leaders are given a warts-only take on America’s past that casts European settlers as villains. These Europeans disrupted ecologically balanced native American society, bringing “widespread deadly epidemics,” a “caste system,” resource exploitation and slavery. The Europeans’ “belief in white superiority” was used, the framework declares, “to justify their subjugation of Africans and American Indians.”

Things got worse with the British. Instead of establishing a “city upon a hill,” as generations of students have been told, they are cast as bigots beholden to a “rigid racial hierarchy,” indicated by their failure to intermarry with native populations or Africans (John Rolfe and Pocahontas, notwithstanding).

The framework gives the father of the country, George Washington, a quick, passing nod, and the founding document, the Declaration of Independence, merits two brief mentions.

Meanwhile, Manifest Destiny was “built on a belief in white racial superiority and a sense of American cultural superiority.” The framework omits black leaders like W.E. DuBois but asserts “prominent racist and nativist theories, along with Supreme Court decisions such as Plessy v. Ferguson, were used to justify violence as well as local and national policies of discrimination and segregation.”

The document’s treatment of the New Deal echoes Democratic Party tributes, asserting that President Franklin Roosevelt’s Depression-era programs used “government power to provide relief to the poor, stimulate recovery, and reform the American economy.”

America’s central role in defeating Nazi Germany and Japan rescued much of the globe from a long night of tyranny, but the frameworks include no mention of the sacrifice of America’s “Greatest Generation.” Instead, the new College Board history curriculum announces that “the internment of Japanese Americans, challenges to civil liberties, debates over race and segregation, and the decision to drop the atomic bomb raised questions about American values.”

Read the No. 1 book “America” by Dinesh D’Souza, and see the many offerings on the most powerful nation ever, from “Armed America” and “Ameritopia” to “Pat Boone’s America 50 Years.”

Larry Krieger, who has taught U.S. history for 35 years and written numerous widely popular AP and SAT exam prep books, said he reacted with shock and dismay when he read the framework earlier this year.

“It’s relentless left-wing indoctrination,” he said, calling it “antithetical to everything that I believe about teaching and our country’s history.”

Leftist bias, poorly written

“Leaving aside its very leftist bias, it is a very poorly written, unprofessional document,” said Krieger, adding he found it “boring” and “dispiriting.”

Lincoln_Memorial

It’s also an anonymous document. While the College Board convened two committees composed of 27 college professors and teachers to oversee the new curriculum, the actual author or authors and the process used to produce it are unknown.

The framework is one of 34 AP courses that are being revised under the leadership of College Board president and CEO David Coleman, who arrived at the organization in 2012.

“When they hired David Coleman, the chief architect of Common Core, they effectively politicized the College Board,” Krieger asserted. “The first thing he did was to yoke the SAT to Common Core, and now we’re going to apply Common Core principles to AP courses.”

The College Board denies that Common Core elements have made their way into its new AP U.S. history curriculum, but College Board executive Lawrence Charap indicated otherwise in May. Charap, who leads the College Board’s History and Social Sciences Content Development Group, told a gathering of the Organization of American Historians that his boss, David Coleman, is implementing the Common Core approach in both the AP and SAT exams, according to a report from Mary Graybar, an English professor and Common Core critic who attended the conference.

Formed in 1900, the College Board is a deep-pocketed association of more than 6,000 educational institutions. It took in $759 million in fiscal year 2012 and reported a surplus of $45 million. Funding sources include the federal government, the Gates Foundation and the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The organization has headquarters in Manhattan and Reston, Virginia, with six regional offices around the nation. It says its mission is to promote “excellence and equity in education.”

‘Curricular coup’

Krieger calls the new framework a “curricular coup” that shoves aside state-mandated history guidelines in favor of the new College Board curriculum.

Jane Robbins, an attorney who joined Krieger in a sharp critique of the new curriculum framework published this spring, said the framework is a radical departure from the state history standards they have reviewed.

“I would venture to guess it’s different from all states,” she said.

Krieger and Robbins report that a College Board-commissioned analysis turned up 181 specific elements required in the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills are missing from the new College Board history curriculum. Another study found that 134 elements required in the Alabama Standards for U.S. History were not in the framework.

George_Washington_Brit_foe

The College Board’s new history curriculum for AP students “does commandeer how history is taught,” said Robbins, a senior fellow at the American Principles Project.

Instead of following state-mandated history guidelines, AP history instructors will “teach to the test” to ensure that students do well on the AP U.S. history exam. Good AP test scores can enable students to skip college history survey courses or jump ahead to take more advanced courses.

Teachers “can’t really focus on state standards,” she explained, “because that is a whole different body of knowledge, in most cases, so the AP course therefore will replace the history standards.”

And the impact of the new curriculum will go beyond AP classes, Robbins said, since most AP history instructors teach other students as well.

“It’s very likely that whatever is taught in the AP class is going to be taught to some extent in the other history classes,” she stated.

“So this is actually a quite effective way of changing what’s taught in history classes all over the country, in both public schools and private schools.”

It’s also being done without much public scrutiny. The College Board posted its new framework on its website in 2012, but for unclear reasons that did not generate much reaction until this spring when Robbins and Krieger published their critique.

The College Board is also keeping its sample AP U.S. history exam for the new framework a tightly guarded secret. The sample test is provided only to certified AP U.S. history teachers who face the loss of the AP teaching credentials – a severe, career-busting consequence – if they disclose test questions.

Teachers around the nation have contacted Krieger to vent their concern, telling him, he said: “I don’t like this. This is wrong. Can you help?”

At the same time, teachers are “very afraid of repercussions for speaking out.” They fear, Krieger said, negative consequences from either the College Board or their local school system.

One teacher who attended a gathering of some 1,000 AP exam “readers” – those who read and evaluate student AP exam essays – told Krieger 90 percent of teachers there either detested the new framework or viewed it with skepticism.

The College Board did not respond to interview requests from WND but claims in the framework document that teachers have “flexibility” to teach relevant history topics outside the prescribed curriculum. However, the framework also emphatically states that the new AP U.S. history exam will be limited to information in the framework.

In boldface and underlined text, the College Board states: “Beginning with the May 2015 AP U.S. History Exams, no AP U.S. History Exam question will require students to know historical content that falls outside this concept outline.”

Attempt to derail framework

Krieger and Robbins are working to derail the framework’s implementation, alerting parents and legislators about the College Board’s new history. One pivotal battlefront is Texas, where state school board member Ken Mercer wants the College Board to postpone the implementation of the framework in his state for one year. He and another school board member have said they will push for a rule that requires AP classes to conform to Texas history standards.

Texas is one of the College Board’s largest customers. Mercer told WND that some 46,000 Texas high schoolers take AP U.S. history classes, more than 10 percent of the roughly 450,000 students that will be taking the class nationwide this fall. College Board President David Coleman and others executives from the AP firm have spoken with Mercer to allay his concern but Mercer remains opposed to the new framework.

He blasted the new framework as a “rewrite of American history.” “It’s so negative that only America haters like former Illinois professor Bill Ayers would like this.”

Mercer decried the glaring absence of uplifting aspects of the U.S. civil rights struggle, including the Gettysburg Address, Martin Luther King, Rosa Parks, the Tuskegee Institute, the Navajo code talkers and the election of Barack Obama.

“If you look at the lessons on civil rights, Martin Luther King is nowhere to be found. How can that be?”

Mercer also charged that the College Board is “usurping the authority of the states’ boards of education and the state legislatures” with the implementation of the new framework.

“I don’t believe there is any elected board in the nation that could pass what they have,” said Mercer. “These are unelected people who don’t have to stand before my constituents, and they’re taking the power away from the state board and state legislature in all 50 legislatures.”

The Texas school board won’t consider a new rule to force AP history instruction to follow state standards until it meets in September, by which time instructors will already be teaching the new curriculum across Texas.

Concerned Texans spoke out against the new AP U.S. history curriculum at a July 18 meeting of the Texas school board. Mary Bowen, a Texas teacher with 30 years of instructional experience told the board, “If parents up and down the neighborhoods knew that this is what would be taught to their children they would be rising up in droves against it.”

‘Not the story of dead, white men’

The College Board’s Debbie Pennington testified as well, assuring the board that the new framework leaves ample room for the state history standards.

“This is designed so state standards can be integrated. It’s not on its own. It’s supposed to work in partnership with you to get what you need.”

Pennington also gave insight into the College Board’s approach to U.S. history, asserting history “can be fuzzy in a lot of different places.”

“You’ve got to remember, this is not the story of dead, white men as taught by almost dead, white men,” she said, citing the words of a mentor. “There were other people there, too, and you’ve got to give room for that flexibility, you’ve got to give room for that flavor and a true understanding of all those issues.”

That view of U.S. history – especially as it is presented in the new AP U.S. history framework – “is designed to create a cynical generation,” Robbins countered.

“Cynicism does not coexist very well with pride in one’s country and the belief that this country can accomplish great things. So, to me, it’s very disturbing. It’s not just that it leaves [students] without some of the factual foundation they need to have but it really does create a different mindset that is going to makes them skeptical of any real belief in the country, that we are exceptional that we have something to offer the rest of the world.”

Why does Obama alwasy use the word “Folks”?

Re-Posted from PowerLine on August 3, 2014 by Paul Mirengoff

Barack Obama and “folks” who kill folks

The word “folks” has a plasticity about it. “Folks” can refer to a group as small as one’s parents (“I’m going home to visit the folks”), the people in one’s community, or the “salt of the earth” inhabitants of a region or a country (the way Bill O’Reilly annoyingly uses the term). This plasticity is illustrated by the definition of “folksinger” that a local radio personality used in the early 1960s — someone who is only good enough to sing for his folks.

President Obama loves to say “folks” and apparently has for years. His Harvard Law Review colleagues brilliantly ridiculed him for it.

Why does the word appeal so much to Obama? Perhaps because it has no fixed meaning. Or maybe because it enables him — arrogant and standoffish though he is — to sound folksy. Perhaps too, he likes the fact that the word can be used to drain the individuality out of people. For collectivists, this has appeal.

It’s unusual to use the word folks to apply, transnationally, to the people of the world. Although the word does drain much of what makes us individuals, “folk” implies some commonality besides just being human. “We Are The World” is not a folk song.

Even so, it doesn’t shock the conscience to refer to people in other countries as “folks.” Foreigners are people too.

For me, however, it did shock the conscience to hear Obama say last week that “we tortured some folks.” He was referring to the use of certain harsh interrogation techniques on some of the terrorists we captured after 9/11 in an effort to obtain information that might prevent more attacks on the United States, our allies, and our interests.

By using the word, Obama drained the terrorists of what made them unique — and what made them the subject of harsh interrogation — namely, their desire to kill and terrorize. Even for a “one-worlder” like Obama, “folks” should not include those who reject the norms of civilization that bind people into some form of a collective suitable for that term.

The juxtaposition of the words “folks” and “torture” was also striking. To describe the subjects of U.S. interrogation, Obama used the most bland, least conclusory word he could come up with. To describe what was inflicted on them, he used the most emotionally charged, most conclusory word available.

Whatever Obama’s other shortcomings — and they turn out to be legion — he is a master at choosing his words. By saying “we tortured some folks,” Obama, it seems, decided to cast his country in the worst possible light.

He turned the terrorists into “just folks” through a choice of words that ignores the biographical context that landed them in our custody and the rationale for interrogating them at all. And he cast what we did to these “folks” in the worst possible light, using a term that typically encompasses far more severe interrogation techniques than the “folks” at Gitmo endured (assuming for the sake of this discussion that what they endured is encompassed by “torture” at all).

Obama did provide some context for the interrogations he deems torture. “You know, it is important for us not to feel too sanctimonious in retrospect about the tough job that those folks had,” Obama allowed. “And a lot of those folks were working hard under enormous pressure and are real patriots.”

Actually we should assume that all of them were working hard under enormous pressure. But note, again, the use — twice — of the “f” word. “Folks, Obama would have it, were torturing “folks.”

Regardless of whether some CIA interrogators went too far, the American president should be able to find the words to differentiate the interrogators from the terrorists. If he wants to give the terrorists the benefit of the doubt and call them “suspected terrorists,” that’s acceptable.

But a president who sees the interrogators and the terrorists as just a collection of “folks” isn’t fit to protect this country from the ongoing threat of terrorism.

Huxley or Orwell?

This is a good read, easy to understand and to the point — unfortunately very few in this country have the education to even understand what the subject is. The schools have done an excellent job at dumbing down our kids.

Russia And India Begin Negotations To Use National Currencies In Settlements, Bypassing Dollar

If Russia and India do this its really bad for us! Obama’s sanctions will backfire on him as he is now playing to the major league and he is only a minor league player!

Re-Post from Zero Hedge Submitted by Tyler Durden on 07/31/2014 11:44 -0400

Over the past 6 months, there has been much talk about the strategic proximity between Russia and China, made even more proximal following the “holy grail” gas deal announced in May which would not have happened on such an accelerated time frame had it not been for US escalation in Ukraine.

And yet little has been said about that other just as crucial for the “new BRIC-centric world order” relationship, that between Russia and India. That is about to change when yesterday the Russian central bank announced that having been increasingly shunned by the west, Russia discussed cooperation with Reserve Bank of India Executive Director Shrikant Padmanabhan. The punchline: India agreed to create a task group to work out a mechanism for using national currencies in settlements. And so another major bilateral arrangement is set up that completely bypasses the dollar.

From the Russian Central Bank:

First Deputy Chairman of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation KV Yudaeva and Executive Director of the Reserve Bank of India G. Padmanabhan at the twentieth meeting of the Subgroup on banking and financial issues of the Russian-Indian intergovernmental commission on trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between banks.

The meeting was attended by representatives of central banks, ministries and agencies, credit organizations in Russia and India.

During the meeting dealt with the problems faced by the branches and subsidiaries of banks in the two countries and ways of addressing these problems.

As a priority area discussed the use of national currencies in mutual settlements. Given the urgency of the issue and the interest of commercial structures of the two countries, the meeting decided to establish a working group to develop a mechanism for the use of national currencies in mutual settlements. It will consist of representatives of banks and, if necessary, the ministries and departments of the two countries to coordinate its activities will be central banks of Russia and India.

What is curious is that now that China has sided firmly with Russia when it comes to geopolitical strategy (not least when it comes to recent development surrounding the downing of flight MH-17, recall “China Blasts “One-Sided Western Rush To Judge Russia” Over MH17″), and thus Russia behind China when it comes to claims by the world’s most populous nation in its territorial dispute with Japan, Japan too is scrambling to secure a major ally in Asia, and it too is trying desperately to get on India’s good side.

Bloomberg reports that “Japan’s Sasebo naval base this month saw unusual variety in vessel traffic that’s typically dominated by Japanese and U.S. warships. An Indian frigate and destroyer docked en route to joint exercises in the western Pacific.”

The INS Shivalik and INS Ranvijay’s appearance at the port near Nagasaki showed Japan’s interest in developing ties with the South Asian nation as Prime Minister Shinzo Abe’s government faces deepening tensions with China. Japan for the third time joined the U.S. and India in the annual “Malabar” drills that usually are held in the Bay of Bengal.

With Abe loosening limits on his nation’s military, the exercises that conclude today showcase Japan’s expanding naval profile as China pushes maritime claims in disputed areas of the East and South China Seas. For newly installed Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Japan’s attention adds to that of China itself, in an opportunity to expand his own country’s sway.

Japan’s involvement in Malabar underscores its interest in helping secure its trade routes to Europe and the Middle East. The Indian Ocean is “arguably the world’s most important trading crossroads,” according to the Henry L. Stimson Center, a foreign policy research group in Washington. It carries about 80 percent of the world’s seaborne oil, mostly headed to China and Japan.

“The Japanese are facing huge political problems in China,” said Kondapalli in a phone interview. “So Japanese companies are now looking to shift to other countries. They’re looking at India.”

So on one hand Japan is rushing to extend a much needed olive branch by the “insolvent western alliance + Japan” to India; on the other Russia is preparing to transact bilterally with India in a way that bypasses the dollar.

Which means that just as Germany has become the fulcrum and most strategic veriable in Europe (more on this shortly) whose future allegiance to Russia or the US may determine the fate of Europe, so suddenly India is now the great Asian wildcard.

Perhaps a very important hint of which way India is headed came moments ago from Reuters, which said that India has raised the issue of U.S. surveillance activities in the South Asian nation with Secretary of State John Kerry, the foreign minister said on Thursday. “Yes, I raised this issue (U.S. snooping) with Secretary John Kerry … I have also conveyed to him that this act on the part of U.S. authorities is completely unacceptable to us,” Sushma Swaraj said at a joint news conference in New Delhi. In response, Kerry said: “We (the United States) fully respect and understand the feelings expressed by the minister.”

Thank you Snowden for helping move the geopolitical tectonic plates that much faster.

Now let the real courting begin.

The Five Elements to Creating a Something-for-Nothing Society

Re-post from The Market Oracle By: Ty_Andros Jul 24, 2014 – 06:51 PM GMT

Politics

This week’s TedBits is as important a commentary as any I have ever written in my 10+ years writing Austrian analysis of the unfolding world macroeconomics and geopolitical situation. It covers the origins, causes and destinations we are headed for, the participants, historical context and the future based upon past episodes: Past, present and future so to speak. I hope you enjoy it. Best wishes Ty.

Adam Smith in his seminal book, Wealth of Nations, outlined how all great empires rest upon an educated, productive and prosperous citizenry. The United States is no exception as its schools over the centuries from grade school to colleges provided the teachings of history, reading and writing, logic, self-reliance, independence and the principles of the constitutional republic brought to us by our founding fathers and God. The United States was founded by people seeking shelter from Despots, authoritarian governments and dictators. Independent souls who were not afraid of providing for themselves, who wanted freedom of religion, and who were willing to strike out into the wilderness to flourish or die. And flourish they did, as did their children and grandchildren. They created the greatest empire in history, the most freedom, the least government, the greatest wealth and middle classes as never seen in history.

Now, this is coming to an end. The assault on the wealth (citizens) and freedoms of the United States began with Teddy Roosevelt and Woodrow Wilson (created the Federal Reserve) a century ago. With a BIG BOOST from progressive liberal Franklin Delano Roosevelt and the creation of the Second Bill of Rights. The progressive movement goal of transforming the United States from a Capitalist constitutional republic to a progressive socialist democracy has been underway for over 100 years and its realization spells the demise of the greatest country ever known. We are near the final denouement of economic collapse and destruction of our monetary and financial system caused by their policies. Ultimately, these PROGRSSIVE men and their supporters transform their societies from the production of great wealth, also known as CAPITALISM, to the consumption of it, known as SOCIALISM (the Orwellian name they use is DEMOCRACY). This final conversion of capitalist economies in the developed world to SOCIALIST economies was set in motion in the developed world at Bretton Woods II.

As empires enter the sunset of their existence, a malignancy of a “Something for Nothing” society emerges which has put the nails in the coffins of every empire that has preceded it. They are a man-made personality/societies created by the powers that be to be sheeple and serfs to the most corrupt at the top of the societies who they have placed their trust in. These elites have forgotten how to create and maintain the policies of wealth creation. Socialism is the consumption and redistribution of wealth not the production of it. The something for nothings/useful idiots cannot produce more than they consume. They are CRIPPLED by the system they inhabit and it is man made by those who control society. They are not taught the lessons of history, how wealth is created and where it comes from, or how to think for themselves. They are not given any of the skills and habits of successful living and prudent lifestyles, creating legions of people DEPENDANT on Government or thinking they are helpless to help themselves. They are ROBBED of their futures by the powers that be.

They are created by public school monopolies as espoused by Karl Marx and Vladimir Lenin who called them USEFUL IDIOTS. They are the mob. One of the primary missions of the constitution was to protect the minorities among us from the majorities. Most people think just because they are born that intelligence follows. No, if that was the case the world would be a highly productive and prosperous place. Humans are like pieces of clay; they are molded just as a sculpture is. The people in charge of our schools have broken the old mold that created the most successful and wealthy society in the history of mankind and created more wealth and prosperity for more people in history. And substituted it with one that is RIGGED against the public, creates the foundations of failed socialist states, and turned their futures from BRIGHT to BLEAK. I have put a video of George Carlin at the end of this missive and he has it completely correct that the elites who control society have no interest in creating citizens who can challenge them. They are created to serve the elites in a type of quiet desperation.

The elites that George Carlin speaks of were left out of a having a place in the United States by the founding fathers, INTENTIONALLY. Their core comes from the multi-century banking houses such as the Rothschild’s, Warburg’s, Rockefellers (female side of the Rothschild’s) and JP Morgan’s of history. These families have been preying on men for over 400 years; playing the booms and busts their banking models create to acquire one way or another over 60% of all wealth in the world over that period. They understand and exploit the difference between real tangible wealth and paper wealth with no tangible value (leverage and credit created out of thin air through their central banking monopolies) which create the oscillations necessary to sell at the top and buy at the bottom. They are masters of the game and own virtually every politician, and government. The constitution had many clauses which sought to prevent them gaining a foothold here. Divided government, prohibiting a PRIVATELY OWNED central bank, PRIVATE classical education (reading, writing and arithmetic) and a constitutional requirement for sound money were the primary barriers to them. Those barriers have now been dismantled in one manner or another and the tenets of Marxism/socialism have been substituted.

“Let me issue and control a nation’s money supply, and I care not who makes its laws.” – Mayer Amschel Rothschild

It has been accomplished slowly but surely over the last 100 plus years. As Socialism displaces wealth creation, the world’s economies are constantly shrinking in real terms. As the economic pie shrinks, they resort to measures which create more for them and less for the public at large. Using unsound money, crony capitalism, and an ever expanding welfare state (redistribution of wealth from the makers to the takers) to create a NET under their supporters and victims, which are one and the same.

There are FIVE ELEMENTS to CREATING a SOMETHING-for-NOTHING society:

The first and most important element is the creation of UNSOUND money (control of the central bank), the destruction of private property rights and confiscation/destruction of freedom through RUNAWAY economic regulations. The Something for Nothing society destroys all incentives to produce wealth, as it will be confiscated in one manner or another (inflation or taxes).
A CENTRALLY controlled public school system to destroy the wealth of the nation by crippling the ability of citizens to solve problems, be economically productive and self-reliant, think for themselves, and understand history to learn its lessons.
A mainstream media that reports misinformation as fact to manipulate the masses (useful idiots created by the public school monopoly) for the benefit of socialists and elites who control things.
Make a middle class into SERFS and slaves to government and banks in one form or another. Create desperation for growth and personal progress in their lives.
Embrace the very leaders who have preyed upon them and support them in ROBBING the very parts of their economies which are the only hope of a prosperous future (freedom, capitalism, sound money and hard work) – aka KILLING the GOLDEN Goose.

The Creation of Unsound Monetary System

Money is now a government sponsored monopoly designed to change the private sector into a land of serfs to governments (socialists) and Private banksters. (Can anyone reading this article give me one example of a monopolist who served its customers more than it served themselves?) Woodrow Wilson in 1913 sold Americans down the river in exchange for UNLIMITED funding for EXPANDING progressive government and his campaign. He also implemented the INCOME tax a concept that the founding fathers also tried to prohibit. The road to the serfdom and ultimate demise of Capitalism and the United States began at this time.

Real Money versus Fake Fiat Money

“I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around the banks will deprive the people of all property – until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered.” – Thomas Jefferson

Thomas Jefferson is one of the greatest Founding fathers of the United States speaking of the privately owned Federal Reserve, a bank who was given a monopoly on the creation of money and credit in the UNITED STATES. From that point forward the economy is and has been run for the BENEFIT of the BANKING systems. Of course, we are at the conclusion of this process today. The next wave of deflation, insolvency and credit failures will usher in the next wave of confiscation by the banking and financial systems.

The Dollar was remade into a semi-sound monetary system, but fractional reserve banking began its insidious rise in 1913. Booms and Busts became the GAME plan, not the prevention of them as was presented to the public. The independent private banks around the country became the game to be hunted by the central bank known as the Federal Reserve and its owners scattered geographically around the country and the BIG New York commercial banks were its owners. The great depression was just an episode of a business plan that BANKSTERS have had in place for over 400 years. They took what was yours and made it theirs. You owned it at the top and, when the leverage FAILED, they bought it at the bottom… with what else? “Money printed out of THIN AIR”. The busts of 1973, 1982, 2000 and 2008 were also episodes of asset transfers from you to them using their business plan. The big commercial banks also known as too big to fail are part of the cabal participating.

After World War II, the global financial systems and most developed world economies lay in shambles. To the victor went the spoils and the United States had gathered most of the gold in Europe and Asia during the battles and transferred it to the United States. It did not want to return the spoils of war (Gold) so a new monetary system was created with the dollar as the world’s currency. At Bretton Woods, in New Hampshire in 1944, it was reformed with the dollar redeemable in Gold by central banks but the currencies systems of the central banks who were party to the agreement were required to run FIAT currency and credit systems. This is when the term the “Dollar is as good as gold” began. It also led to the world’s central banks creditably saying their currencies were back by gold by simply holding dollars as reserves.

The US started printing away and was when Lyndon Johnson implemented the great society programs of welfare, and simultaneously was involved in the Vietnam War. Central banks, seeing the debasement of their RESERVES, began repatriating their gold. This proverbial run on the bank lasted until the US gold reserve had been cut by about 80% since Bretton Woods I. In order to preserve some of the United States GOLD holdings, Richard Nixon closed the central bank gold window in August 1971.

In 1971, Richard Nixon, a big Government progressive in conservative clothing, betrayed the world when he tore the final foundations of sound money from the reserve currency of the world and exchanged worthless IOU’s redeemable in NOTHING in exchange for them. The concept of private property was destroyed on that day, only very few knew it. It was the greatest THEFT in HISTORY and succeeded because no one really knew what money was anymore. What sound money had been dropped from school curriculums decades earlier. Humans worldwide no longer had a sound place to store their labor and wealth.

This is a picture of the destruction of the money people are paid and store their wealth in. It is a picture of the middle class being destroyed by unsound money. As a store of value and purchasing power, it is obviously on its way to WORTHLESSNESS!

Gold is the currency of KINGS
Silver is the currency of MERCHANTS
Credit is the currency of SLAVES
Credit is NOT MONEY

In August 1971, Americans went from the top two categories to the bottom two categories in one fell swoop! Money is now a government sponsored monopoly designed to change the private sector into a land of serfs to governments and banksters. In exchange for UNLIMITED funding for government, the economy is run for the BENEFIT of the BANKING systems.

THIS IS WHY THE MIDDLE class is GONE, killed by the governments and banking systems they have placed their trust in. UNSOUND MONEY has:

allowed Public servants to COVER up POOR economic policies with artificial demand and FAKE GDP created by issuing credit and growing government, bringing forward demand and borrowing from the future.
allowed government and credit to grow in an unlimited fashion and far in excess of inflation and economic growth.
implemented redistribution of wealth from the private sector to the public sector and banking systems.
allowed Governments (though deficit spending and currency debasement) and bankers to absorb the income and wealth of the private sector through runaway currency and credit growth.

…and set in motion the final demise of the capitalist systems which had created the prosperity of the developed on a scale previously unknown by man:

“The best way to destroy the capitalist system is to debauch the currency. By a continuing process of inflation, governments can confiscate secretly and unobserved, an important part of the wealth of their citizens… There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.” – John Maynard Keynes

At Bretton Woods II, The Capitalist Economic model was PERMANENTLY changed to Progressive Socialist model!

From: producing more than you consume, creating capital, wealth and savings for future investment in productive ventures.

To: Consuming more than you produce and borrowing from the future creating growth and economic activity predicated on always expanding credit and consumption of wealth rather than living within ones means, producing more than you consume and creating wealth! The CAPITALIST economic model was TURNED UPSIDE DOWN, and INSIDE OUT.

The Something for Nothing society was BORN! Instead of taxes from a growing private sector, the government could just borrow it (putting its citizens in debt) or print it out of thin air!

“In the end all paper money returns to its intrinsic value: worthless” – Voltaire

“Nations are not ruined by one act of violence, but gradually and in an almost imperceptible manner by the depreciation of their circulating currency, through excessive quantity” – Nicholas Copernicus

“Gold is money, everything else is just credit.” – JP Morgan

“Paper is poverty. It is only the ghost of money, and not money itself.” – Thomas Jefferson

In conclusion, the path to the future is firmly inculcated into society today. It is like a stone rolling downhill, or being below the event horizon of a black hole: UNSTOPPABLE! I am writing this tome to let you see this progression and unfolding debacle so that you can prepare yourselves. Austrian economics is extremely PREDICTIVE, as it is history repeating and common sense as outlined by Ludwig Von Mises, Frederic Hayak and many more too numerous to mention. May God Bless them all for giving us their wisdom and roadmaps to today’s issues.

Part two of three of this commentary “Useful Idiots and the Something for Nothing Society” will cover more of the five elements bringing us to where we find ourselves today. It will be sent out next week to your favorite website, posted to our blog at http://www.TedBits.com, or you can have it delivered into you inbox by subscribing.

Wishful thinking or living with rose colored glasses will not serve you well. We all need to see reality, work to restore what elements we can, and plan for the worse and hope for the best in our personal lives. There are many things you can do personally to insulate yourselves from much of the chaos and capitalize on it as well. I have always said that this is the greatest opportunity in history and I continue to believe this. Applied Austrian economics and a great grasp of history can help you turn lemons to lemonade. I am working to turn a light on and let you connect the dots, which so many fail to do. May God bless you and see you next week!

May God Bless you, Ty
