Elon Musk’s SpaceX Building Global Satellite Surveillance Network for U.S. Intelligence Agency

According to a recent Reuters report, Elon Musk signed a $1.8 billion contract in 2021 with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) to launch a system of orbiting surveillance satellites.

According to the report, “if successful, the sources said the program would significantly advance the ability of the U.S. government and military to quickly spot potential targets almost anywhere on the globe.”

Remind me again exactly when Elon Musk bought the Twitter platform.

WASHINGTON, March 16 (Reuters) – SpaceX is building a network of hundreds of spy satellites under a classified contract with a U.S. intelligence agency, five sources familiar with the program said, demonstrating deepening ties between billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk’s space company and national security agencies.

The network is being built by SpaceX’s Starshield business unit under a $1.8 billion contract signed in 2021 with the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO), an intelligence agency that manages spy satellites, the sources said.

The plans show the extent of SpaceX’s involvement in U.S. intelligence and military projects and illustrate a deeper Pentagon investment into vast, low-Earth orbiting satellite systems aimed at supporting ground forces.

If successful, the sources said the program would significantly advance the ability of the U.S. government and military to quickly spot potential targets almost anywhere on the globe.

The contract signals growing trust by the intelligence establishment of a company whose owner has clashed with the Biden administration and sparked controversy over the use of Starlink satellite connectivity in the Ukraine war, the sources said.

The Wall Street Journal reported in February the existence of a $1.8 billion classified Starshield contract with an unknown intelligence agency without detailing the purposes of the program.

Reuters reporting discloses for the first time that the SpaceX contract is for a powerful new spy system with hundreds of satellites bearing Earth-imaging capabilities that can operate as a swarm in low orbits, and that the spy agency that Musk’s company is working with is the NRO.

Reuters was unable to determine when the new network of satellites would come online and could not establish what other companies are part of the program with their own contracts. (more)

Knowing that for a period of about ten years beginning in 2012, USG/DHS essentially operated inside the platform of Twitter for the purposes of controlling public opinion, I find it very challenging to believe the relationships with DHS, FBI, HHS and USIC – along with the Pentagon and State Dept, just ended after Musk purchased the platform.

One could make a compelling argument the purchase of Twitter held an ancillary benefit and protected the USIC from revelations that would not be controlled by any other process.     Long before the “Twitter Files” were released under tight controls, the structure of Jack’s Magic Coffee shop was increasingly visible.

Beyond the Twitter Files, the COVID-19 pandemic revealed just how much control the government held over the platform.  A $1.8 billion USG contract buys a lot of symbiosis and influence.

Elon Musk Tells Boycott Advertisers to “Go F**K Themselves”

Twitter owner Elon Musk went full wolverine earlier today during remarks at the ‘New York TImes’ DealBook Summit’ on a wide-ranging interview including anti-semitism, an advertiser boycott, Tesla, AI and more.

I have been skeptical of Mr. Musk, particularly over the mechanics of his purchase against the backdrop of DHS/FBI control elements; his remarks today are going viral. WATCH:

Despite continued reservations about Mr. Musk, I appreciate and respect his candor.

Iran Demands the Removal of Starlink – Could Governments Repel These Satellites? Re-Posted Nov 1, 2023 By Martin Armstrong

We know why Israel is upset with Elon Musk for sending Starlink services to Palestine, but now Iran is also demanding that he remove the satellites. Truth is always the first casualty in war. Governments are censoring absolutely everything to prevent the truth from spreading. Iranian journalism is non-existent and people rely on social media to receive their information through the use of VPNs. Iran has previously shutdown internet access for its own people and disabled VPN servers to prevent people from seeking the truth.

Reporters Without Borders (RSF) believes the Islamic Republic “enslaved Iran’s internet.” “The Islamic Republic’s strategy is cruel – locking its people into an empty information space and blocking all escape routes,” said Vincent Berthier, the head of RSF’s Tech Desk. “Internet shutdowns form the main barrier to information, and when the network comes back online, the government obstructs access in another way, by preventing access to VPNs. We call on the Iranian authorities to lift these oppressive constraints. Iranians have the right to access news and information freely.”

Iran has blocked the Apple App Store and Google Play to deter people from downloading a VPN to bypass censorship. WhatsApp and Signal have been blocked as they do not allow people to communicate. Internet shutdowns often occur regionally as the Iranian government will simply revoke all internet communications at whim. A company called Arvan Cloud has assisted Iran’s Information and Communications Technology Ministry in developing the National Information Network (NIN) to block the people from free communication. Ironically, the US placed sanctions on the company in June 2023. The US government prefers to discreetly block information rather than turning off the internet entirely.

2022_12_03_Musk_Says_Twitter_Orderd_by_Government 300x285

Now in comes Elon Musk. He recently said he plans to make X (formerly Twitter) an all-purpose app that allows calls and messaging. He is permitting everyone to post to his social media channel and it has become the top spot for government officials to send the public instant alerts. His Starlink technology will ensure that people can access X and the internet. Starlink satellites operate at an altitude of 340 miles and would be extremely costly to shoot down and only a few countries have anti-satellite technology. It’s also not like Musk is sending one satellite as they launch a stack of them at once.

There is a reason Putin did not attempt to shoot down Starlink over Ukraine. First of all, it is extremely costly and a waste of resources. Secondly, these devices are technically American assets and attempting to remove them could be seen as an act of war. Third, they could not shoot these down without causing orbital debris and angering the international community. Russia or China could spend countless resources on anti-satellite technology, but Musk could simply send more. The only way to close them would be to attack the ground station, a move that could only be done by the West.

Elon Musk Powers Gaza – Open Communications Amid War

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Oct 31, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Israel has stripped Gaza of all electricity, and over 2.2 million people no longer have access to basic necessities. Elon Musk announced over the weekend that he would send Starlink connectivity to Gaza. “Starlink will support connectivity to internationally recognized aid organizations in Gaza,” Musk posted on X.

A billionaire’s net worth provides more than money can buy. Musk has the ability to intervene in international affairs on his own accord. Palestine did not ask Musk for help; he simply decided to provide it on his own. Musk provided Starlink connectivity to Ukraine after Ukrainian officials urged him to help the innocent people living there. He was celebrated in the media as a hero for powering Ukraine, but now, he is being villainized for his efforts to help the people of Palestine.

Israel is angered that their communication blackout is coming to an end. Israel’s Communications Minister Shlomo Karhi promised, “Israel will use all means at its disposal to fight this.” He continued, “HAMAS will use it for terrorist activities. There is no doubt about it, we know it, and Musk knows it. HAMAS is ISIS. Perhaps Musk would be willing to condition it with the release of our abducted babies, sons, daughters, elderly people. All of them! By then, my office will cut any ties with Starlink.”

The United Nations and World Health Organization have said they have been unable to reach their people on the ground in Palestine. The world condemned Russia for committing a war crime, but it is ok when Israel and the West use these tactics against civilians.

Another game changer in this war is X, formerly known as Twitter. Musk is not deplatforming people who disagree with the narrative. In fact, absolutely everyone is taking to X to express their views, including members of Hamas. This is one of the last platforms for free speech without censorship. Musk is using his wealth and technology for the greater good. Time will tell if the powers that be have the power to cancel an influential tech billionaire.

Putin: Trump Indictments are Very Good for Russia

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics e-Posted Sep 14, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

When asked about the impeachment of Donald Trump, Vladimir Putin said that it is “very good” for Russia insofar as it shows America is deteriorating from within. Putin and Trump once had a mutual respect for one another, acknowledging that each leader consistently put their nation first. Everyone besides the far-left can see that Trump’s indictments are a politically motivated attempt by the current administration to deny the people a fair election. “It shows the rottenness of the US political system that can’t claim to teach others democracy,” Putin stated. “What happened to Trump is a motivated prosecution of a political rival.”

The US cannot possibly blame Russia for meddling in the next election when the current administration is blatantly arresting political opponents. The former world democracy police can no longer claim to be pious. Everyone sees what is happening, but only those not in the globalist club have spoken out.

“Imagine if this happened to a leading opposition presidential candidate here in El Salvador?” President Nayib Bukele posted to social media. “Sadly, it’ll be very hard for US Foreign Policy to use arguments such as “democracy” and “free and fair elections”, or try to condemn “political persecution” in other countries, from now on.”

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who is no stranger to worldwide criticism for not aligning with the globalists, has spoken out against the indictments as well. “Keep on fighting, Mr. President!” Orban published on X. “We are with you.”

While China’s Xi has not directly commented, Chinese political commentators seem to be in agreement that the US government is deliberately locking up their top political opponent. The South China Morning Post wrote an article entitled: “Trump’s indictment: the real takeaway is the US is as polarised as ever.” A professor from Renmin University of China published an op-ed titled, ”Trump’s indictment and bank collapses a poor advertisement for US democracy.” Both articles say that China is laughing at the American political system. “The generation of young people who shouted ‘Long live President Wilson’ at the end of World War I, and the idealistic generation who endorsed a ‘fight for freedom and democracy’ in Tiananmen Square in 1989, have little in common with young Chinese people today who see no upside to emulating American democracy,” he wrote.

Divided we fall. The world sees America’s weakness as we are no longer a united nation, under one. We are divisible and under the tyrannical rule of the deep state who uses a corrupt career politician with dementia as their puppet.

Sunday Talks, Jake Tapper Big Mad at Secretary Anthony Blinken for Not Condemning “Capricious Billionaire” Elon Musk

When it comes to professional media men who wear pussy hats and practice pearl-clutching as an artform, no one is better at the subtle intricacies than Jake Tapper.

In this interview, the CNN host asked Secretary Anthony Blinken why the U.S refused to condemn Elon Musk after it was discovered that Musk ordered the Starlink satellite system taken offline to stop Ukraine from attacking Russian ships.   Jake is furious, very angry, and he is not happy with the response from Secretary Blinken.
