House Republicans Remove Nancy Pelosi’s Metal Detectors and Other Optics Intended to Support J6 Extremism Narrative

In the aftermath of the 2020 election House democrats led by Nancy Pelosi directed a national pantomime from Washington DC that extremists were running amok and terrorizing congress.  The January 6 Committee was intended to further establish that narrative.

Pelosi called up the national guard, put fences and barbed wire around congress then installed metal detectors, all as part of the theater for manufacturing the domestic violent extremist narrative.  The media engineered the supportive narrative and the ridiculous pantomime continued throughout the past two years.   However, as congress now changes hands and republicans take control, the fences are taken down and the metal detectors are being removed.

Colorado Representative Lauren Boebert highlights the return of normalcy. {Direct Rumble LinkWATCH:

However, against the backdrop of revelations from the Twitter Files where the intelligence apparatus, Dept of Homeland Security and FBI were part of the government operation to influence public opinion, the possibility of an FBI inspired and coordinated attack against the Capitol is now more likely than previous.

2022, Perhaps the Apex Year for an Era of Pretending

Posted originally on the CTH December 31, 2022 | sundance

If 2022 was not the apex year for the era of great pretending, then we remain sitting in a handbasket – destination, full speed ahead.

When asked for the topic of a ‘big picture‘ podcast this 2022-year ending, the obvious answer from me was We Need to Quit Pretending.

For the past two years I can only encapsulate the entire social, political and socioeconomic dynamic that surrounds us by saying we are living in an era of great pretending.  Why?  Because nothing else adequately explains it.

A recession is no longer two negative quarters of economic growth.  Elections are no longer defined by votes cast, but by ballots counted.  Meanwhile, women are claimed to have penises and people will argue -strenuously and with commitment- that men can give birth to babies.

Simultaneously, vaccines are no longer about medicines to avoid viruses, and Americans have some moral obligation to fund the administrative salaries, pensions and expense accounts for a nation of European politicians, in a country that few taxpayers could find on a map.

We must pretend the occupant of the oval office is not a dementia patient, at the same time we must pretend the Dept of Homeland Security and FBI is not telling online speech platforms that identifying the dementia patient, as a dementia patient, means you are a domestic violent extremist.  The absurdity of the pretenses are off-the-charts.

However, on the upside, we now see even blissfully ignorant people starting to realize something is wrong when their electricity and heating bills quadruple, while the same system of governmental caretakers are telling us to embrace a new earth friendly normal of $12 dollar eggs.  We been knew, but more are now knowing – thank God.

History provides reference points, and prolonged pretending never ends up in a good place.  So, there is room for optimism on a couple of points.

First, there is more support than ever for the ‘burn it all down‘ approach.  Whereby we keep the basic U.S. Constitution in place and shred every other institution created that has nothing whatsoever to do with it.

This includes both the DNC and RNC wings of the UniParty apparatus.  I mean, really, at the core of it, what do we have to lose?  Why not just get rid of the dysfunctional systems that abuse us.

Second, in a weird way, we are in a rare space where we can feel the history around us.  Normally we would have to look in retrospect at the events as they unfolded to recognize the inflection point historians would use – not now.  We can look around us right now and have full confidence the most influential voice in the next two decades will be the man, woman or entity that starts openly and publicly calling out this ridiculous pretending.

How messed up does society have to be, and how low to the ground does the actual bar have to rest, in order to realize the most important and influential person in our lifetime will simply be the one who stops pretending?  Ultimately, this is the source of my optimism for the future.

When it becomes so easy to deconstruct the madness simply by pointing out the reality, eventually anyone can do it.  In an era of great pretending, when you speak factual and pain truth, people thirsting will come for the sanity.  Yes, there’s only so much hypocritical nuttery that can possibly fit into the social fabric of a nation, and we’re full.

I see that dynamic starting to play out now.  Mainstream media are openly mocked everywhere for being the Baghdad Bob’s they are.  The MSM credibility and influence essentially destroyed by the Potemkin villages and Eco-chambers they built around themselves.

The congressional J6 committee is yet another example of a proclaimed thermonuclear ICBM missile that ended up delivering a contrasting reality. The fading whistle & pop akin to a dysfunctional bottle rocket.

There’s no help on this pretending issue coming from the political side of the American spectrum; sneeze that thought into a tissue and flush it.

The big movement that will end this era will come from ordinary people laughing, mocking and belittling the pretenders.

I do genuinely believe this phase is well underway, albeit we are in the beginning phases of the great mocking.

Whenever possible, we should do all we can to fuel both mocking and shame when discussing the great pretenders.  There’s only so much ridicule they can take before they must change course.  Ridiculing is another way to throw sand in the machinery.  Again, I think we are beginning to see that pendulum shift taking place right now.

Evidence for my optimism can be found in the most obscure places, including this paragraph from a recent NPR article:

…[…] “Only 15% of people eligible for the Covid booster shot that targets the omicron variant have gotten it — a rate that is even lower than the perennially disappointing rates for flu vaccine uptake. Vaccine fatigue seems to have spread to other shots, too — including those to prevent measles and polio — according to a recent poll by the Kaiser Family Foundation.”

Think about it.  “Eligible for the Covid booster” means that 85% of those who took the COVID-19 “vaccine” are not taking the booster.  Eighty-five percent of the people who took the shot have stopped pretending the covid shot had anything to do with public health.   That’s 85 out of 100 people who took the shot, not taking the booster. That’s a lot of simultaneous pretense quitting.

Yes, 2022 was another year in this great pretending era, but along with it comes a new enlightenment for a whole bunch of people.  From where we sit at the end of this year, it looks like the pretending has apexed.

Eyes are wide open; people are starting to be intellectually honest and more curious.

Yes comrade rebels, slowly, albeit painfully slowly, there is hope emerging.

President Trump Delivers a Statement on Congress Making His Tax Returns Public, and Asks for Congress to Immediately Apply Same Standard to Joe Biden

Your Home Is The Alamo, Act Like It

Perhaps the #1 question I see raised in our discussion is a variation on “what are we going to do about it?

It is a profoundly understandable question, yet it would take volumes of manuscript and dozens of hours of conversation to adequately answer.  That said, the reason for the complexity of the answer is very simple.

Approximately, 72% of a healthy adult American population took an experimental COVID-19 shot as recommended by, and later demanded by, government.  That’s essentially 3 out of every four Americans.

In a recent poll of the 190,000 followers to CTH on Twitter, we asked did you take the shot?   More than 80% of the respondents said no.

In a national population where approximately 1 out of every 4 declined the shot, the CTH audience consists of a population where 4 out of 5 declined the shot. The CTH audience is essentially the inverse of the national population.  This is a context for looking at the original question.

The proverbial ‘we’ are in agreement as to the scope of the national problem.  However, ‘we’ in the larger context are in the minority.  That doesn’t mean we are powerless, nor does it mean we cannot affect the change we desire. However, that context does structure the nature of the challenge, and form the baseline for any proposal that would be considered an answer.

Again, in general terms, CTH readers are far ahead in understanding the scale of the problem as compared to the general population.  It has been more than a decade since we first outlined the corrupt nature of the Dept of Justice and the specific political activity of the FBI as it was happening.  At the time, people said we were nuts; generally saying we took analysis of how the domestic intelligence state was corrupted by politics, too far.

Well, here we are a decade later and the larger population of the American people are now openly accepting the DOJ, FBI and Intelligence Community are corrupted by politics.  The very small minority position is now the slightly larger majority position. But it took a decade.

How long did it take the majority to realize ‘ballots’ -vs- ‘votes’ was a real problem?   We have had THREE election cycles decided by ballot collection. The BETA test in California (2018 midterm), the national ballot collection rollout in 2020, and finally the midterm election in 2022.   Five years since the original data showed ‘ballots’ were the election control mechanism, not ‘votes’.  Now, people are awake to the problem, but again it took five years.

Another example:  Take the basic construct of our UniParty political system…

♦The RNC wants money.
♠The DNC wants power.

♦The RNC uses power to get money.
♠The DNC uses money to get power.

♦The donor activity of the RNC drives their ideology.
♠The ideology of the DNC drives their donor activity.

This is the essential difference in the two private corporations’ political business models. It is a very nuanced distinction, but it is a distinction.  Nothing within that system can change until the people who engage in that system admit this is the system.  Right now, less than 10% (my estimation) of the Republican Party followers understand this.

Most self-admitted Republicans think that by changing the head of the RNC, the corporation will adapt a new business model.  The majority of those believers are willing to support an RNC corporation insider like Harmeet Dhillon as the change agent.   The history of the Club does not support this expectation, yet they believe it.

Those whose hold on power depends on deception are always able to find an audience of those willing to be deceived.

Now, the audience of those willing to be deceived is a flexible group in terms of numbers and identities. Even those who have been in that audience for some time may one day walk away from it. What is it that makes folks stay in that audience? What price are they afraid of paying? What deception are they unwilling to let go of?

While we use the word passive to describe this “willingness to continue in deception,” this is not an experience shaded in peaceful lavenders, mint greens and dappled sunlight. This is the deadly passivity of muscles that no longer fire; tiny electrical charges that no longer leap from one synapse to the next.

This is as passivity says: “I won’t begin resisting, because I know that once begun, I must continue. Rather than assert myself and perhaps fail (or get really scared), I will sustain myself where I am trapped. I will muffle my moans so as not to risk exposure, and I will call it self-control. Winston Churchill would have called it cowardice, but I will call it pragmatic caution.”

And within that framework, there’s the answer to the question, “What are we going to do about it?

The very first step that’s desperately necessary for our survival, is that we become disillusioned–and quickly.  We must stop pretending.

In the interim, if you are one of the 1 in 4 independent-minded Americans, you need to think about your home, the physical surroundings of yourself and your community, as the Alamo.

Fortify your defenses literally in your family.

Then, only if your home is secure, move forward using tactical civics to influence the local election level, city council, school boards, sheriff, judges etc.  Each of these local level engagements should be looked upon as setting perimeter defenses against federal and state intrusion.

Once you are confident in your home and family security, and once you have established the safe perimeter to keep your community guarded, then you expand to the larger state offices, via state legislature, state senate and state governor.

Through this process you are constantly leveraging the majority.   You are not in the minority within your home; and hopefully you will not be in the minority within your county.

If you are stuck in a blue region, retain the disposition of an insurgent.  The rebellion can formulate underground.

You have the better arguments; you believe in freedom. Continued assembly-building will gain the numbers needed to be in the majority.

Keep focused on spreading disillusionment by using the atomic sledgehammer of truth.  Never accept the false pretenses that underpin the status quo. The opposition’s arguments are weak, and they are built upon fraud.  They require a constant pretending.  Denial of truth permits easier trespass.

Use truth as a weapon by learning the core issues better than the other side.  Read the history of how events unfolded. Learn the hidden constructs behind the motives carried by those who created the events.  Learn their arguments and learn how to deconstruct them.

Then, when you are intellectually armed and fully prepared, openly stop pretending and ask the questions in public that will awaken the audience around you.

No, The DOJ Did Not Subpoena Kash Patel’s Email and Phone Data – Get Specific, Andrew Weissmann and the Mueller Special Counsel Did

Posted originally on CTH on December 19, 2022 | sundance

The timing of stuff and the context of the historic reference points matter when looking at any story involving the DOJ.  Failing to understand the background context leads to mistaken impressions, false assumptions, corrupt hidden actors getting away with prior misconduct and generally flawed analysis.  That is the accurate takeaway from a story that seems to have gained attention amid the professionally republican class of punditry.

Here at CTH we have dropped the pretending, focus on the evidence and call the baby ugly when warranted.

Today’s outrage du jour surrounds Kash Patel sharing documents with John Solomon about a subpoena dated November 20, 2017, targeting investigative staff from the House Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI).  [Article Here] Dates matter. Redactions matter.

[Document Source]

Who redacted this document?…  Kash Patel?  John Solomon? or the DOJ?  It matters.

In November of 2017, everything related to the Trump-Russia operation was being handled at the Dept of Justice by lead DOJ Special Counsel official Andrew Weissmann under the auspices of what is commonly called the Mueller probe or ‘Mueller investigation‘.  On November 20, 2017, the main focus of Weissmann was the guilty plea of Michael Flynn which was at its apex and was later signed November 30, 2017.

The public battle on Capitol Hill November 2017, was between HPSCI and Main Justice.  Nunes -vs- Schiff -vs- FBI -vs- Main Justice -vs- White House -vs- Special Counsel.  Each entity competing for the public and political narrative.

In his later (June 2020) Senate testimony, Deputy AG Rod Rosenstein testified that Weissmann/Mueller were in charge of everything at Main Justice and he was used as a go-between liaison between congress, the White House and the DOJ.  Rosenstein gave Weissmann/Mueller full autonomy, full authority, and never once questioned a request from them.  Put simply, Rosenstein said Mueller and Weissmann called every shot in the DOJ that had anything even remotely associated with Trump-Russia, which was essentially everything at Main Justice for two years.

As a result of that context, any subpoena against Kash Patel or any other member of the HPSCI would have come from the Weissmann/Mueller probe, NOT Rod Rosenstein.

Rosenstein gave Weissmann/Mueller expanded scope authority twice in 2017 from the original scope memo in May.   The final expanded scope memo authorized the targeting of Michael Flynn Jr happened in October of 2017, and that authority was used to coerce the guilty plea from his father, Michael Flynn Sr, a few weeks later.

Mueller and Weissmann issued hundreds of subpoenas to telecommunications companies [156 pages of search warrants documented here].  As a result, it’s not accurate to say the DOJ was subpoenaing Kash Patel phone records because that lets the guilty party off the hook.  It also downplays the corrupt intent of the Mueller probe.

Any subpoena targeting Kash Patel in/around November of 2017 would be coming from the Andrew Weissmann team.

There was a widely reported clash in 2018 between the HPSCI (Nunes and Patel) and Rod Rosenstein who was in the position of liaison because conniving and duplicitous Andrew Weissmann used DAG Rosenstein as a tool and willing shield.  [Article Here]    Essentially, that June 2018 article involved Rosenstein allegedly threatening to subpoena the records of Nunes and Patel if they kept pushing aggressively on the Mueller probe.   However, the November 2017 subpoena is not that.

Kash Patel is making an ipso facto argument with the recently received evidence of the November 2017 subpoena in hand using flawed hindsight.

Who keeps escaping scrutiny as all these flawed assumptions are being made?  The Mueller Team.

Andrew Weissmann et al were running Main Justice for two years (May 2017 through Feb 2019).  Nothing that happened in the context of the FBI, CIA, DOJ-NSD or Main Justice that had anything to do with Trump-Russia did not come directly as a result of the Mueller/Weissmann probe.

Weissmann had full control, including any subpoena that would have been targeting Kash Patel.

Back to the original question, who did the redacting?
