Biden Goes Back to The Stage Set to Participate in Supply Chain and Economic Propaganda Broadcast

Joe Biden went back to the White House stage set today (always weird) to read from his script and hold a broadcast zoom meeting with the supply chain and inflation ‘task force’ led by Brian Deese.  [Read Transcript Here]

The occupant of the White House proclaimed that gas prices have dropped ten cents, the port container backlog was almost fixed, and all the retail sales shelves are stocked for Christmas purchasing.   Smiles everyone, smiles.  [Excerpt Below]

♦ A couple of overall notes.  Biden is proclaiming a massive improvement in the port backlog in California.  However, a more careful review of the specifics from the ports themselves, via John Porcari, reveals this nuance: “The percentage of — the number of long-dwelling containers — the ones that have been there eight days or more — has been cut in half.”  The percentage of, the number of, 8+ day delayed containers has been reduced by 50% in the past two months.

So, the container backlog problem is half as bad as the percentage of the problem was two months ago.  That’s some professional parseltongue right there.

Expanding, Porcari says, “Since mid-October, the dwell times for those containers has dropped from 12 days to 5 days; that’s 140 percent improvement.  And in Los Angeles, from nine days to four days — 125 percent improvement.”  LOL..

The 8+ day containers have dropped from 8 days + twelve (20 days) to 8 days + five (13 days), and that’s an improvement of 140%.   At that rate in two more months the 8+ day container backlog will be reduced to,… wait for it…. 8+ days.  Brilliant!  They will have achieved backlog statis!

Who wouldn’t love a job where the goal of your performance review is to get your horrible performance to the point of ordinary failure, instead of it being at a level of extraordinary failure, or failure+.

Seriously, these guys just crack me up.

On the gasoline side of things, I shall remember to use my correct thinking and thank Dear Leader for the new 10¢/gal savings on the gasoline that increased $1.50/gal this year.

Ted Cruz Predicts He Will Be the 2024 Republican Nominee for President

Ha, ha, ha…  breathe… ha, ha, ha… yer killin’ me.

Lyin’ Ted Cruz, perhaps the most inauthentic intentional stutterer in politics, thinks he’s going to be the Republican presidential nominee in 2024 because he was the runner up in 2016.   No, seriously, he does. WATCH:

Merry Christmas, Another Two House Democrats Decide Not to Run for Reelection, That Brings Total to 23

Representative Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA), the powerful chair of an Appropriations subcommittee overseeing immigration issues, becomes the 23rd House Democrat to announce she will not seek reelection in 2022.  Roybal-Allard was first elected to the House in 1993 and was going to have a redistricting battle.  Additionally:

Rep. Stephanie Murphy (D-Fla.), a leader of the moderate Blue Dog Democrats, announced earlier Monday that she was retiring in 2022 to spend more time with her young children. Over the weekend, there were also reports Rep. Albio Sires (D-N.J.) plans to retire.

The southern border is a mess, and border state Latino Democrats are switching to the Republican Party. Inflation is skyrocketing and will likely continue getting worse through 2022 due to fiscal and monetary policy. Wage growth (3%) is nowhere near enough to keep up with food inflation (15%+).  Making things worse, gas prices have doubled in most areas and will continue to increase into 2022 due to Biden energy policy.

The Democrat regulatory environmental programs in coastal areas and ports are continuing to create massive supply chain issues.  Home heating costs this winter will be 60 to 70 percent higher due to Biden energy policy. The Joe Biden vaccination mandate is creating a workforce crisis and escalating backlash created by toxic federal overreach.

Several blue states (CA, NY, IL) are losing congressional seats due to population losses, while red states are gaining congressional districts due to population growth.  Insane spending by Democrats continues without pause or consideration for the inflation they are creating.  The great ideological cleaving between Democrat communists and middle-class Americans continues.

Polling indicates there is a major storm on the horizon for Democrats, as their ideological thirst for power is transparent {link} and being rejected. Every single policy the Biden administration touches creates a crap storm of anxiety for the ‘Main Street’ American worker.

The only group benefiting from JoeBama policies is the same group that funds them, Wall Street.  Making matters worse, the political communists behind the policy execution are brazen in showcasing how the destruction of the American economy is their intent.

Now the White House is promising “a winter of severe illness and death for yourselves, your families, and the hospitals you may soon overwhelm.”   Not exactly an optimistic message.

Even the New York Times has gone from panic to ‘shock’: “The numbers are even worse for Democrats in the eight states expected to have the closest Senate elections, according to Langer — Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. Not only is Biden’s overall job approval rating in those states 33 percent, 10 points lower than it is in the rest of the country, but registered voters in those eight states say they are more likely to vote for Republican House candidates than for Democrats by 23 points (at 58 percent to 35 percent).

This is the backdrop for an eleven-term Democrat Lucille Roybal-Allard (D-CA) to become the second Communist today to announce her retirement.  There are now 23 House Communists (ie Democrats) officially jumping ship and announcing they will not attempt re-election {link}.  There will likely be more before the primary races begin in 2022.

Additionally, Nancy Pelosi will never return to the minority leadership role.  No way, not after the groundwork Pelosi has established in the last two congressional sessions. The backlash against Pelosi and her manipulative rule changes *should* allow for an “anything goes” approach from MAGA-angry wolverine Republicans and Independents.  The 2022 overall campaign slogan should be: No Mercy, Ever!

As CTH has often said, Democrats must not be beaten – they must be destroyed.

Arguing with a political leftist in the hope they can be convinced to change direction is futile. They are disassociated on a mental and emotional level from any semblance of a capacity to consider they may be wrong. This is why you can never let up in the fight against them. Even in victory, the blue-collar working-class common-sense approach must be relentless. The modern left has to be destroyed on such a scale as their dangerous ideology is reduced to burning embers; however, do not trick yourself into believing it will ever be fully extinguished.

[…] You cannot comply your way out of tyranny any more than you can negotiate your way out of the gallows.   If you are considered the enemy of the modern leftist movement, they will seek your destruction.  The only way to fight this adversary is with brutal hand-to-hand combat where you never, ever, concede an inch.

For God’s sake, if you need a reference point, 27% of them are willing to put an untested vaccine into the arms of their children without hesitation to protect against an illness that is non-existent.  Do you really think it’s possible to rationally debate them?

Instead, we meet Obama’s “Yes we can,” or Joe Biden’s “Build Back Better,” with a much stronger and unapologetic “F**k Joe Biden“….

That’s how we defeat the insane communists!

Grind the Communists into pulp – make their lives miserable, and when the media asks why Republicans are being so rough, grind the Communists even harder.   Ridicule anyone who would stand up for them.  Cast the Communist Democrats into a fiery pit of irrelevance and keep pouring toxic lava upon them to keep them from climbing out.

Igor Danchenko Now Represented by Hillary Clinton Lawyers

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on December 20, 2021 | sundance | 186 Comments

This is weirdly revealing (Hat Tip Technofog).

In a court filing today by Special Counsel John Durham [pdf here] it’s noted that previously indicted Igor Danchenko, the primary sub-source for Christopher Steele’s fraudulent dossier against Donald Trump, is now represented by the same lawyers representing Hillary Clinton’s legal interests.  John Durham is asking the court to evaluate the legal conflicts:

(pdf Here)

Why would the legal firm representing Hillary Clinton (to the Durham probe) step-in to represent Igor Danchenko in his criminal indictment?

The only logical reason would be for Danchenko to represent a legal risk to the interests of Hillary Clinton, likely through the direct association between Hillary Clinton and Charles Dolan, Danchenko’s collaborator and the liaison to Chris Steele from the Clinton campaign.

As a result of the Durham indictment, we know Igor Danchenko was working closely with Democrat Party public relations executive Charles Dolan to funnel the fabricated source material to Chris Steele.  The Clinton team’s communication and contact with Charles Dolan would represent a legal risk to Hillary Clinton.

If Charles Dolan and Hillary Clinton were in communication, it seems like that would be the motive for Clinton’s lawyers to want to control Danchenko’s legal status and any statements to John Durham or the court.  More than likely, the people in/around Hillary Clinton are the ones paying the law firm to represent Igor Danchenko.

Good News, Politico Is Rallying Support for Mitch McConnell

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on December 18, 2021 | Sundance | 155 Comments

At first glance, it might seem odd to think that Politico diminishing the MAGA movement in defense of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell is a good thing.  However, in the background of that motive exists the reality – they need to defend him.

…”And though the forest was shrinking, the trees kept voting for the axe, for the axe was clever and convinced the trees that since his handle was made of wood, he was one of them.”…

The story of Mitch McConnell as leader of the GOP DeceptiCon wing is well known on these pages.  Heck, for ten years we frustratingly battled against the members of our own team infected with ‘battered conservative syndrome.

Mitch controls roughly 20 members of the Republican wing in the Senate.  It’s the same names that repeatedly surface whenever Democrat legislation is supported, or rule changes are made, to support the goals and objectives of the UniParty in the upper chamber: Cornyn, Thune, Porter, Blunt, Portman, Burr, Barasso, Crapo, Murkowski, Gardner, Roberts, Sasse, Tillis, Rubio, Graham and Romney.

The Politico article is basically saying that despite Donald Trump’s repeated attacks against McConnell, the DeceptiCon senators have not followed any effort to replace the minority leader; which, when you know the nature of the system, is not surprising.

[…] To date, just two prominent GOP Senate candidates have called for McConnell’s ouster — Kelly Tshibaka, an Alaska Republican who is challenging incumbent Sen. Lisa Murkowski, and Eric Greitens, the former governor of Missouri who is running for a seat being vacated by retiring Sen. Roy Blunt. (link)

The good news is that Donald Trump and more Republican voters now see through McConnell’s schemes and manipulation.  Thus, it takes a left-wing outlet like Politico to try and run cover.

Several DeceptiCon senators have already announced they will not run for re-election in 2020 [Shelby, Toomey, Burr, Portman, Blunt].  In the 2022 Senate races there are 34 seats up for grabs.  14 are held by Democrats and 20 are held by tenuous Republicans.  [Breakdown Here] Those exiting senators, among others, know what McConnell’s objective is.  They also know this time the damage is far greater than previous times McConnell set about to destroy the base of the party.

Most casual political observers have absolutely no idea how McConnell works.  However, for over a decade CTH has been trying –slowly succeeding– to awaken the base of commonsense voters.  In 2010, 2011 and 2012, the #1 priority for McConnell was to destroy the threat represented by the Tea Party.  In 2022 we are seeing an exact replay of the same intents and purposes, only this time the target is President Trump’s MAGA movement.

It is a motive and agenda all wrapped up in the Senate power structure.  McConnell does not fear being in the minority; the color of the flag atop the spire of the UniParty Senate does not matter to those underneath it.  McConnell maneuvers with just as much power in the minority as he does in the majority; factually, he makes more money selling his DeceptiCon caucus votes to Chuck Schumer (on behalf of Wall Street) than he does in the majority where he is forced to purchase them.  The entire thing is a rigged game.

Through his power structure, McConnell directly controls about 16 Republican Senators, we have called them “The Decepticons” for years. [Cornyn, Thune, Porter, Blunt, Portman, Burr, Barasso, Crapo, Murkowski, Gardner, Roberts, Sasse, Tillis, Rubio, Graham and Romney].  He also has four more that can join him when needed.

To remind ourselves how Minority and Majority Senator McConnell took down the threat of the Tea Party revisit these old articles CNN Part I and CNN Part II  – both showcase how McConnell works.   Then do some research on how McConnell worked with Haley Barbour in Mississippi [SEE HERE].

McConnell must preserve the trough.  Corporations (special interest groups) write the legislation. Lobbyists take the law and go find politician(s) to support it. Politicians get support from their peers using tenure and status etc. Eventually, if things go according to norm, the legislation gets a vote.

Within every step of the process, there are expense account lunches, dinners, trips, venue tickets and a host of other customary financial waypoints to generate/leverage a successful outcome. The amount of money spent is proportional to the benefit derived from the outcome.

When a House or Senate member becomes educated on the intent of the legislation, they have attended the sales pitch, and when they find out the likelihood of support for that legislation, they can then position their own (or their families) financial interests to benefit from the consequence of passage. It is a process similar to insider trading on Wall Street, except the trading is based on knowing who will benefit from a legislative passage.

Yes, Democrats are the opponents; they are ideological enemies to freedom. However, Mitch McConnell is the man who builds the Trojan Horse.

The most transparent example of how DeceptiCon McConnell operates was the Trade Promotion Authority authorization that Mitch constructed in 2015 to help then President Obama advance the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) trade agreement.

The pragmatic conservative base of GOP voters were against the TPP, because we could see how the trade deal would lead to more job losses in the U.S.  However, the Obama White House, Wall Street DeceptiCons and Democrats needed to support it as required by their multinational donors.

Mitch McConnell created a legislative pathway for Obama to unilaterally construct a trade agreement by flipping the votes in the Senate under Trade Promotion Authority.  Instead of Obama needing 60 ‘yea’ votes to support TPP, Mitch flipped the terms so that Obama needed 60 ‘nay’ votes to deny TPP.   That’s what Trade Promotion Authority bill was really all about.

McConnell sneakily created a system so that all Republican Senators could give their base the illusion of voting against Obama’s TPP trade agreement, and yet the agreement still passed (which is what they wanted).  That’s the way the DeceptiCons roll.

If you think this sounds similar to how Mitch recently helped change Senate rules so that Democrats could raise the debt ceiling on their own, you would not be wrong.

WASHINGTON DC – […] The Senate minority leader spent Tuesday selling his members on a convoluted strategy that would require at least 10 Republicans to approve legislation that would later allow Senate Democrats to raise the debt ceiling by a simple majority vote. After a leadership meeting and a Senate GOP lunch, McConnell said he’d done enough work to clinch the deal in a vote expected on Thursday. (read more)

So the Senate DeceptiCons once again *claimed* to be against the multi-trillion ‘Build Back Better’, fundamental change, spending bill.  Yet they have facilitated the Democrats not having to negotiate or eliminate anything inside the BBB bill, by removing the leverage of the debt ceiling raise.

Yep, Uniparty gotta Uniparty – all courtesy of the Senate DeceptiCon caucus.

This, and the Machiavellian scheming and conniving they do to hide their UniParty alignment, is why I have openly said for 15 years, I hate them.

Pelosi Fleeing to Florida?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Corruption Re-Posted Dec 18, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

Pelosi appears to be preparing to retire. Pelosi said in response to the infrastructure bill, “I just told members of my leadership that the reconciliation bill was a culmination of my service in Congress because it was about the children.” In Washington lingo, they call the “c” word the retirement hint. She has been pushing this Build Back Better bill and there are democrats rejecting this disaster.

Pelosi has been spotted looking at property in Naples Florida. It looks like she is going to retire but she is going to flee California herself for the taxes there are devastating and will only get far worse. The state has been bleeding the high-end taxpayers well beyond Elon Mush. Pelosi’s district, San Francisco, has increasingly devolved into crime, mass homelessness, and open drug use. Some of the city’s historical family residents have been fleeing in search of greener pastures in Texas and Florida. I find it to be the most hypocritical position to have Pelosi retire in Florida, an increasingly Republican state, which amounts to the ultimate example of a limousine/private jet liberals fleeing the consequences of their own policy preferences. She has spent a career bashing the rich but will retire with more than $100 million in assets fleeing to one of the 7 states with no income tax, strongest economy, and stores that are not the targets of wholesale gang shoplifting sanctioned by law.

White House Hoping Kentucky Tornado Crisis Will Provide Biden Team the Platform to Rebrand Collapsing Image

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on December 16, 2021 | Sundance | 160 Comments

First things first… If the governor responsible for organizing the state response to a massive crisis is still incapable of controlling his emotions, and cries in front of the media five days after the damage, I guarantee you he/she is a Democrat.  I don’t mean to be brutal or insensitive about it, but the emotional inability of effeminate Democrat Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear is embarrassing to watch.   Cowboy the f**k up, and get on with the job.

That said, it is obvious the White House political communications team are not planning to let a crisis go to waste.  The opportunity provided by the devastating tornadoes that tore through Kentucky, is an opportunity for Biden to rebrand himself and attempt to get his collapsed polling numbers to reverse.

That’s the reason for the heavily engineered presser yesterday, and that’s the reason for the federal response.  On the positive side, the flood of help is good for Kentucky; however, cynically that benefit is mostly possible because the Biden White House is desperate and needs positive PR.

Traditionally, when there’s a FEMA-level crisis in a red state or region, and Democrats are in the White House, the federal response is weak.  It’s just how they roll.  However, fortunately for Kentucky, this time the crisis coincides with the White House occupant desperately needing to rehabilitate his image. And it’s a Democrat governor holding office over a Red state, so the White House producers, script writers and narrative directors have massive latitude.

It was smart of Ron Klain to send Jill Biden to Wisconsin on the same day he sent Joe to Kentucky.  After a few words from Klain to coordinate with the CNN crew, Kate Bennett delivered the conflated article brilliantly for the Google search engines.   It now looks like the faux-President visited Wisconsin [ SEE FOR YOURSELF, read it carefully ]. Obviously he didn’t, but when you know the intent is to manipulate and give the illusion that he did, well, the way Kate Bennett constructed the outline is brilliant.

Leftist politics are not about reality or what’s real.  Modern leftist politics are about the illusion of what’s real.  That’s the primary reason the professional leftists are so good at pretending not to know things.  Leftists and communists are, by mental constitution and nature, pathological in the extreme.

If you are not strong-minded, Alinsky trained leftists can convince people of alternate realities in the same way an abuser can get an abused person to believe their beating is their own fault.  Leftists can convince entire groups of people to board cattle cars, while the victims convince themselves their abuser would never really kill them.

This pathological approach is also why leftists continually undermine independent thought and rely on peer pressure from Hollywood, Big Tech and social media.

The professional political left needing big tech and social media to silence the opposition is the same reason a toxic boyfriend needs to block his abused girlfriend from visiting her family.  Pathological people and groups need to keep their victims isolated.

In the big picture, this level of manipulative control is also the foundation of the international COVID fraud.  When you go this big, the lie must be retained… or else.  Think about it.

Those whose hold on power depends on deception are always able to find an audience of those willing to be deceived.  Now, the audience of those willing to be deceived is a flexible group in terms of numbers and identities; even those who have been in that audience for some time may one day walk away from it.  But, what is it that makes folks stay in that audience?  What price are they afraid of paying?  What deception are they unwilling to let go of?

If it was suddenly discovered that SARS-CoV-2 and the COVID-19 vaccines, mandates, boosters and passport controls are really just a simple fraud, built upon an established plan to control people and numb them to the toxic influence of government protection – even to the extent of forced medical procedures to avoid something as innocuous as the common cold or flu; well, how would a genuinely awakened victim react to the Red Pill?

Think carefully about that answer….

Because if the victim had such an ‘ah-ha’ moment of realization, and then you guided them with familiar reference points to the topic of climate change… well, you can see the problem for the totalitarian control forces.   After all, once you see the light from a small but important lie, it becomes much easier to see the light from the larger and more consequential lies.

Maybe then the victim suddenly realizes it wasn’t the poor sandwich making skills that caused him to smash her head into the kitchen sink; and from that moment forward, the end of the cycle begins.

Wait, What? Jake Sullivan’s Wife is AG Merrick Garland’s Legal Counsel at DOJ?

The same Jake Sullivan who was one of Hillary Clinton’s foot soldiers, a foreign policy advisor pushing the fraudulent Trump-Russia conspiracy theory, is now Joe Biden’s national security advisor.  That was always sketchy by itself.  However, to discover that Sullivan’s wife, Margaret Goodlander, is the legal counsel to Attorney General Merrick Garland, opens up an entire world of conflict issues.

As noted by Chuck Ross, Attorney General Merrick Garland is being advised by Jake Sullivan’s wife and overseeing the John Durham criminal probe, which is looking into the role of Jake Sullivan in the construct of the fabricated Trump-Russia conspiracy, the use of the FBI as a political tool, and Sullivan’s lies in testimony to congress.

(Washington Free Beacon) – A top adviser to Attorney General Merrick Garland is facing calls to recuse herself from the Justice Department’s investigation of the Trump-Russia probe, which has looked into the actions of her husband, National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan. (read more)

The Sanctimonious, Insufferable and Clownish Liz Cheney Seeks Revenge for Republican Ridicule

The intemperate Wyoming Representative Liz Cheney is on a hate-filled kamikaze mission to attack the base of the political party she abhors. {Direct Rumble Link Here}

Previously, Alaska Senator Lisa Murkowski set the low bar for contempt against the Tea Party movement, however, this week Liz Cheney says ‘hold my beer’ and goes all in against the MAGA base.  Ugly is as ugly does – inside and outside.

(WaPo) – Rep. Liz Cheney’s disclosures of intriguing Jan. 6 text messages between Mark Meadows and both Donald Trump Jr. and Fox News personalities are the big news in the committee’s investigation right now. But don’t lose sight of what Cheney said immediately after she read those texts aloud.” (more)

Deep State alum Ms. Liz Cheney is desperately trying to use her position on the ridiculous January 6th committee to gain position inside the DC system.  As a person with no redeeming qualities, the DC swamp is about the only place where her unlikable lawfare skills still have some marketing viability.

As the Washington Post notes, Cheney is desperate to attach some element of criminal lawbreaking to President Trump.   Cheney was pointing to a specific criminal statute — a felony, 18 U.S. Code § 1512 — that she suggests President Donald Trump violated.

Cheney’s comment matches the language of the statute. It states, “Whoever corruptly … obstructs, influences, or impedes any official proceeding, or attempts to do so, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both.” That law defines an “official proceeding” as including “a proceeding before the Congress.”

Is there a more self-centered, arrogant, smug and narcissistic member of the current Republican Party?  I cannot think of one.

Topline for Candidates, There Is Only One Donald Trump and Economic Security Is National Security

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on December 13, 2021 | Sundance | 263 Comments

“It must be remembered that there is nothing more difficult to plan, more doubtful of success, nor more dangerous to manage than a new system. For the initiator has the enmity of all who would profit by the preservation of the old institution and merely lukewarm defenders in those who gain by the new ones.” ~ Niccolo Machiavelli

Never has that quote been more apropos than when considering the MAGA movement and the rise of Donald Trump.  Thankfully, we are now in an era when the largest coalition of American voters have awakened to the reality that, to quote the former president: “Economic Security is National Security.”

As we live through the consequences of a Biden administration hell bent on eroding the middle class of the United States, there are numerous pundits contemplating 2024 Republican presidential candidates other than Donald Trump; consider this group the lukewarm defenders Machiavelli noted.

At the same time the leftist coalition, writ large, are apoplectic about the base of the Republican Party now belonging to Donald Trump.  This group consists of those affluent Wall Street agents and politicians set on retaining the profits derived from decades of institutional objectives.

Institutional Democrats hate him and institutional Republicans are lukewarm, at best, in defending him.

Both wings of the DC UniParty want a different direction.

In this outline, I rise to explain why Donald Trump is the only option for the America First MAGA coalition; and I make my case not on supposition, but on empirical reference points that most should understand.

If you accept that at its essential core elements the phrase “economic security is national security” is true; meaning the lives of the American citizen, person, worker, individual or family are best when their economic position is secure; then any potential leader for our nation must be able to initiate policies that directly touch the economics of a person’s life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.  As a result, economic security and economic policy must be the fulcrum of their platform.

Now, look around and ask yourself this question: “What separated Donald J. Trump from the remaining field of 17 GOP candidates in 2016?”   An honest topline answer would be immigration (border control), and his views on American economic policy.   In essence, what set Donald Trump apart from all other candidates was his view on the U.S. economy, and that was the driving factor behind ‘Make America Great Again’, MAGA.

Now, look around.  Look at every other potential candidate for political office. Is there another person in the field of your political view who comes from the starting point that economic security is national security?

Put aside all other issues and shiny things that may change from moment to moment as the political winds swirl and settle, and ask yourself that question.  Who can deliver MAGA, if not the central person who lives, eats, sleeps and thinks about U.S. economic security from every angle at every second of every hour of every day.  That’s Donald J. Trump.

Trump knows the extremely consequential sequence of BIG things that lead to a structurally strong American economic foundation.   We don’t have to guess at whether Trump can deliver on that policy sequence, we have reference points.

♦ Donald Trump knew that independent U.S. energy policy was a condition for a strong U.S. economy. He also knew there would be negative consequences to allies and partners if the U.S. energy policy was independent.  Trump knew that OPEC nations in general would be negatively impacted, and he knew that Saudi Arabia specifically would be weakened geopolitically.   That is why the very first foreign trip by Donald Trump was to Saudi Arabia and the Gulf States that make up the majority of OPEC.

Look at what President Trump did on that trip.  First, he assured Saudi Arabia that the United States would stand with the Gulf Cooperation Council and Mid-East nations as it pertained to their security.  Trump knew making the largest energy consuming nation independent from foreign oil would be adverse to the economic stability of the Mid-East, and as an outcome, could open a door to destabilization from extremist or ideological groups therein.

Take away top-line economic revenue from Saudi et al, and the leaders of those oil economies have a more difficult time remaining stable and controlling unrest and extremism.  Generations of Arab citizens know nothing other than the trickle down benefits of oil exports.  President Trump knew this, and he approached our need for energy independence by first assuring the Arab states of his commitment to their stability and safety.

President Trump delivered to those states a list of approved arms and defense agreements during that trip.  In essence, what he was doing was putting the promise of security into actual delivery of tools to retain that security.  Actions speak louder than words.  President Trump also promised to work diligently on peace in the region; a real substantive and genuine peace that would provide security in the big picture.

Over the course of the next few years, Trump delivered on that set of promises with the Abraham accords.   Yes, economic security as national security applies to our allies as well as ourselves.  Again, actions speak louder than words.

With the U.S. energy independence program in place, President Trump then moved in sequence to the next big thing.

♦ Donald Trump moved to face the challenge of China.   A major shift in U.S. policy that is likely considered the biggest geopolitical shift in the last 75 years.  Trump strategically began with Trade Authority 302 national security Steel and Aluminum tariffs at 25% and 10% not only toward China but targeted globally.

The entire multinational system was stunned at the bold step with tariffs.   But remember, before Trump went to Saudi Arabia, he held a meeting with Chairman Xi Jinping in Mar-a-Lago.  The global trade world was shocked by the tariff announcement, but I’ll bet you a doughnut Chairman Xi was not.

That February 2017 meeting, only one month after his inauguration, was President Trump graciously informing Chairman Xi, in the polite manner that respectful business people do, that a new era in the U.S-China relationship was about to begin.  New trade agreements, new terms and conditions were to be expected in the future.  The tariff announcement hit Wall Street hard, but not Beijing – who knew it was likely.

U.S. financial pundits proclaimed the sky was surely falling.  These tariffs would cause prices to skyrocket, the global order of all things around trade was under attack by Trump.  They waxed and shouted about supply chains being complicated and intertwined amid the modern manufacturing era that was too complex for President Trump to understand with such a heavy handed tariff hammer.   Remember all of that?  Remember how cars were going to cost thousands more, and beer kegs would forever be lost because the orange man had just triggered steel and aluminum tariffs?

Did any of that happen?  No. Of course it didn’t. Actually, the opposite was true and no one could even fathom it.  Communist China first responded by subsidizing all of their industries targeted by the tariffs with free energy and raw materials, etc.  China triggered an immediate reaction to lower their own prices to offset tariffs.  Beijing did not want the heavy industries and factories to start back up again in the U.S, so they reacted with measures to negate the tariff impact.

China’s economy started to feel the pressure and panda was not happy.  Eventually, as the tariffs expanded beyond Steel and Aluminum to other specific segments and categories, China devalued their currency to lower costs even further for U.S. importers.  The net result was something no one could have imagined.  With lower prices, and increased dollar strength, we began importing all Chinese products at cheaper rates than before the tariffs were triggered.  Yes, we began importing deflation.  No one saw that coming…. but Trump did.

While all that initial U.S-China trade shock was taking place, Donald Trump took his next foreign trip to… wait for it…. Southeast Asia.

Just like in the example of the trip to Saudi Arabia, economically-minded Trump told partners and leaders in the export producing countries of Japan, Malaysia, South Korea, Vietnam, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and ASEAN nations to prepare for additional business and new trade agreements with the U.S., as factories inside China might start to decouple.   Look at how they responded, they did exactly what Trump said would be in their best interests.

To seriously gather the focus of this SE Asia group, President Trump started direct talks with North Korea and Chairman Kim Jong-un for peace and regional stability.  It’s easy to forget just how stunning this was at the time, but generations of people in Asia were jaw-agape at the U.S. President confronting China, engaging with North Korea, and opening his arms to new trade deals with ASEAN partners.

On the world stage of geopolitics and global trade, any one of these moves would be a monumental legacy initiative all by itself.  But together, simultaneously, you can see how the entire continent physically stopped midstride and stood staring at this, this man, this American President, who was just about to step across the Demilitarized Zone in North Korea and shake hands with Chairman Kim…. and, wait for it…. they are smiling.

√ Energy security triggered and friends in Mid-East supported.

√ Mid-East peace initiatives triggered.

√ A return of heavy industry and manufacturing security triggered.

√ A confrontation of Chinese economic influence triggered.

√ Stability between South Korea and North Korea, triggered.

√ New trade deals and economic partnerships with Japan and South Korea, triggered.

And then, as if that was not enough… just as multinational investment groups started realizing they needed to change their outlooks and drop the decades long view of the U.S. as a “service driven economy”… just as they realized they needed to start investing domestically inside the United States for their own growth and financial security… as if all that wasn’t enough… President Trump kicks off an entirely new trade deal and renegotiated standard for all North American trade via NAFTA.

We don’t have to guess at whether Donald Trump can put together a program to ensure Economic Security is National Security.  We don’t have to guess at whether Donald Trump can deliver on economic policy.  We don’t have guess if Trump’s policy platform, proposals and initiatives would be successful.  We have the experience of it.  We have the results of it.  We have felt the success of it.

We also don’t need to guess at who is the best candidate to lead Making America Great Again, we already know who that is.

There is no other 2024 Presidential Candidate who I am aware of who could possibly achieve what Donald John Trump has achieved, or who could even fathom contemplating how to achieve a quarter of what President Trump achieved.

Do not tell me Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is a better option. DeSantis is an unknown commodity, a blank slate, when it comes to big picture economic outlooks. DeSantis doesn’t have an economic agenda inside his administration from which to contemplate or analyze his economic views.

Governor Ron DeSantis has a lot of really good skills and policies on the domestic front unique to his position in Florida; however, it is not a slight toward him to point out he has never expressed any larger economic proposal that would give any confidence in a national economic policy.

Look at the sum total of it, and there’s so much more that could be outlined to what Donald Trump achieved and could yet still achieve achieve, it’s not even a close question.

And that my friends is exactly why Donald Trump is under relentless attack from both wings of the UniParty in DC.  Additionally, it is clear the Wall Street republicans are trying to position Ron DeSantis as an alternative to another Trump term.  Look carefully at the current advocates for DeSantis, Nikki Haley and/or Kristi Noem, and you will note every one of those early voices are attached to favorable Wall Street politics and multinational corporate advocacy.

Look at what Donald J. Trump was able to achieve while he was under constant political attack.  Just imagine what Trump 2.0 would deliver.

They, the leftist Democrats and Wall Street Republicans, are yet again absolutely petrified of that.
