Yes, you are correct in both cases but the underlying issue is the ethics (or morality if you believe we are under the thrall of a higher power) of the institutional maltreatment of any human in the name of a political belief system. The US political Right-wing (as opposed to the Conservative right) conflated the term “concentration camp” with the Nazi death camps to serve their own agenda. In reality, a concentration camp is just a place where people are concentrated.

Now, I have no problem with having a tough border policy. With the upcoming socio-political meltdown coupled with the effects of climate change (whether due to extra-historical factors or natural causes, or both) the global refugee crisis is only going to get worse. What I do have a problem with is the disingenuous spin put on the issues by both the Left and the Right in the furtherance of their own short-sighted goals.

Many thanks for your opinions on all these matters. Hopefully one of these years I’ll be able to make it to a WEC.

REPLY: Both extreme sides will take words and spin them to their own advantage. The actual legal distinction was that reference to Nazi concentration camps or the US internment camps for the Japanese, involved their own citizens. The issue here is illegal immigrants who are really pouring into the USA and Europe for free handouts and are really economic migrants. Just try to say you have decided that there are better job opportunities in Germany than in the USA. Sorry to say, but you will not get a free pass to just move. Both sides are using this concentration camp theme out of context.

The question of how these people are being treated is a human rights issue. But that is exasperated by the attempt of the left to instill rights upon these people which then delays their detention. If they were truly seeking refugee status, you apply for that. You do not show up at the border and expect fast track.

I have stated before that employees from overseas flying into the USA for a conference or a meeting has always presented problems. One employee coming in from Germany was asked if they were taking cash back and forth for me to Europe. Another was held up and searched by three people three separate times asking why do they come back and forth a few times a year. When I commented I thought you were concerned about people who did not leave, the angry response what I was trying question how to do their job.

We have to have immigration lawyers on call because of the international problems with these people. The lawyers will tell you NEVER fly into Chicago – it is the worst place to ever land for that office sends people back on the next plane more than any airport in the country. The Department of Homeland Security defines removals as “the compulsory and confirmed movement of an inadmissible or deportable alien out of the United States based on an order of removal.” Returnsare defined as “the confirmed movement of an inadmissible or deportable alien out of the United States not based on an order of removal.”

In other words, in 2000, at airports, the number of people who had documentation to get on a plane and were denied entry reached about 1.7 million that year. In 2017, that is down to about 150,000. Obama deported more people than any President. The deportations they call “removals” reached about 425,000 in 2013 which is down to about 300,000 in 2017.

Pay Attention Millennials – Bernie Sanders Will Cut Campaign Worker Hours to Achieve $15 Hour Wages…

Hopefully the Che’ T-shirt crowd will see the logical outcome to the proposed wage/benefit schemes of the socialist ideologues by watching how Bernie Sanders plans to increase campaign workers pay to $15/hr, by cutting their hours – not actually increasing wages.

After coming under fire for not delivering on his promise to pay campaign workers $15/hr, communist Bernie has a solution: Cut their hours.  Then workers will be forced to get another job.

Perhaps, just perhaps, democrat voters will notice this was/is the outcome of the Obama economic wage/labor scheme that led to people having to get two and three jobs. An outcome those same democrat candidates openly rail against in talking points.

WASHINGTON – Democrat presidential candidate Bernie Sandersannounced this weekend he will cut staffers’ hours so that they can effectively be paid a $15-an-hour minimum wage, prompting mockery from critics who say the move is more evidence that Sanders’ plan to raise the national minimum wage is hypocritical and would only lead to less work and more unemployment.

The Washington Post first reported last Thursday that Sanders’ field staffers were upset that Sanders championed a $15 minimum wage on the campaign trail, and made headlines for railing against major corporations who pay “starvation wages” — even as his own employees made “poverty wages.” (read more)

Ironically this approach hearkens back to the historic outcome of socialist policy.  Capitalist Bernie is rebuking Communist Bernies’ labor talking points.

Additionally, Bernie is including non-compensatory benefits (healthcare etc.) as part of the overall $15/hr compensation package…. Yes, more natural outcomes.

[Bernie] went on to say that the union contract “not only provides pay of at least $15 an hour, it also provides, I think, the best health care benefits that any employer can provide for our field organizers.”

Those healthcare benefits are included in the $36k/yr pay package that belays the $15/hr wage point.  2,000 hrs (40 per week x 50 weeks) worked at $15/hr is $30k, with $6k in benefits.  If benefit costs increase to $8k worked hours need to be reduced to keep the $15 standard.   A capitalist outcome Communist Bernie has railed against, yet now applies.

Weird Situation – President Trump Requests Consideration for U.S. Rapper A$AP Rocky Held in Stockholm…

At first blush this story is just odd.  A U.S. rap star has been held in prison for two weeks following a fight in Stockholm, Sweden.  Various people, including celebrities, have reached out to the White House and President Trump for help.  According to one report the administration was able to gain better holding conditions, but the entire story is weird.

Apparently the young American musician was stalked by a group prior to a concert, and a physical confrontation started.  Mr. Rocky’s (aka Rakim May) lawyers say the artist acted in self defense, apparently Swedish authorities consider the event very serious.

(Via Fox5) Urged on by the first lady and celebrities including Kanye West and Kim Kardashian West, the president had said in a Friday tweet that he would intervene to try to free Rocky, whose real name is Rakim May.

[…] The Swedish prime minister issued a statement earlier Saturday saying he would be glad to speak with Trump about A$AP Rocky’s detention but that his government “cannot and will not attempt to influence prosecutors or courts.”

“I understand that President Trump has a personal interest in the case….He has expressed the desire for a conversation with me, which is certainly positive,” Lofven said. “I will explain that the Swedish judicial system is independent. In Sweden, everyone is equal before the law, and this includes visitors from other countries.”

Rocky has been behind bars while Swedish police investigate the fight in Stockholm he allegedly was in before appearing at a music festival. Videos published on social media appear to show a person being violently thrown onto the ground by Rocky. A defense lawyer has said it was self-defense. (read more)

According to Page Six: “The White House has secured better jailhouse conditions for A$AP Rocky, Page Six has learned. The Harlem hip-hop star has been locked up in a Swedish prison for more than two weeks after he got in a street fight with two men who had been tailing him and his entourage through the streets of Stockholm. The incarceration without bail seems excessive, but from the action by the Swedish authorities perhaps the events were a bit more serious than currently understood.  As typical for a caturday, suspicious cat is in a holding pattern for more details while remaining suspicious….

Video has surfaced from an early 2018 church event held in Texas by Democrat Presidential Candidate Marianne Williamson where she asks white audience members to stand and apologize to black audience members for the sins of slavery.

According to the Washington Examiner: “Williamson was speaking on her “Love America Tour” at the Unity of Houston in July, 2018 when she began by having all of the white people stand up, Joy Sewing, who was in the crowd, of the Houston Chroniclewrote at the time.

The spiritual guru then asked all of the white people to hold the hands of black people near them and to repeat after her. Williamson began with “I apologize …” (read more)

Bizarre Fibber – Gay Florida Politician Admits She Lied About Treating Pulse Nightclub Victims…

Democrat candidate Elizabeth McCarthy, 50, withdrew from the race for House District 28 after her claimed treatment of Pulse nightclub victims and credentials as a medical doctor were called into question.

Previously McCarthy claimed she was treating victims from the attack, saying: “I personally removed 77 bullets from 32 people. It was like an assembly line.”  The candidate now admits she made the entire story up, including her claim to be a doctor.

(Via Daily Mail) – A queer Democratic politician who claimed to have treated Pulse nightclub shooting victims admitted to Florida officials that she lied about her service.

Elizabeth McCarthy told the Florida Department of Health that she had fabricated claims that she was a cardiologist who had treated victims of the mass shooting on the LGBT destination.

‘I lied. It is a false statement. I just made it up,’ McCarthy said, according to an affidavit released Wednesday by the Florida Department of Health and obtained by Florida Politics.

The department charged her with violating state law under the unlicensed activity statutes. (read more)

The Media Protecting Ilhan Omar’s Obviously False Presentation of Family is a Gift To President Trump…

The 2019 U.S. media are akin to the Monty Python “killer rabbit” skit, as every broadcast and print publication runs away from anything that might be adverse to their political interests.  Oh noes, run away… run away…  Yes, at this point it really is comical.

An armed Antifa terrorist can attempt to use home-made bombs to attack an ICE detention center, get killed in the process, and leave behind a manifesto that actually quotes Democrat Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as his motive to stop the “concentration camps”, and the media flee from coverage…. “run away“.  Meanwhile the world comes to an end over a Trump tweet with apoplectic wall-to-wall coverage.

The entire landscape of 2019 media is a skit beyond mocking; thus the transparently false story behind the life of Hamasketeer #2, lhan Omar, is yet another visible part of this ridiculous pantomime.  It is obvious the story of Omar’s husbro marriage was intended to manipulate the refugee visa program to the benefit of her brother. However, now it surfaces that Omar isn’t even a member of the refugee family she used to escape Somalia:

Representative Ilhan Omar’s visa manipulation by faux-marriage is a process similar to the visa-fraud process used in the San Bernadino terror case involving Syed/Tashfeen Malik, and faux-marriage Tatiana Farook.  [Same with Orlando Pulse nightclub terror case involving Omar Mateen and Noor Salman.]

The longer the mainstream media tries to run away from the obvious truth behind the Ilhan Omar refugee/visa scam, the more ridiculous they look doing so.

The UK Daily Mail has already outlined the fraud [SEE HERE], the Star Tribune has already outlined the fraud [SEE HERE], and a host of other research, including documents to evidence the fraud has been brought to light; just like the Powerline Article.

At this point, the media’s refusal to admit Ilhan Omar lied to escape Somalia; and then lied again -via marriage-  to get an entry visa for her brother, while being married to another man, just makes the media look even more political and more manipulative.

The end result, this helps frame the truthfulness behind the term “Fake News”.
