Basically this is all the fault of the Boomer generation and their “Me” attitude. Many, not all, live in a dream world (to many drugs when they were in college) and they are now implementing their delusions of a perfect society. Utopias are not possible since humans are not perfect and so no human society can ever be perfect. The Boomers don’t understand this and in their attempt at taking us to their “perfect” world they are more then likely to destroy us than make us better. most attempts of this kind end up with a government headed by a Tyrant lets hope that doesn’t happen this time.

A new Gallup poll has found that already low “confidence” in our system of government, our economy, the media, banking, big business, religious institutions and watchdogs is further eroding.
“Americans’ confidence in most major U.S. institutions remains below the historical average for each one,” a Gallup spokesman said in a news release.

All in all, it’s a picture of a nation discouraged about its present and worried about its future, and highly doubtful that its institutions can pull America out of its trough.
