Devin Nunes and Jim Jordan Discuss the Danchenko Indictment

House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes, and House Judiciary Committee ranking member Jim Jordan discuss several topics of concern in/around Washington DC including the recent indictment of Christopher Steele source Igor Danchenko.  {Direct Rumble Link}

Within the conversation, CTH readers get a good look at one of the problems we have discussed exclusively on these pages, the issue of the information silos.  Both Nunes and Jordan discuss information from the perspective of their legislative silo, without standing back to consider the issues as they exist in the larger dynamic.

Ex. ¹Notice how both congressional advocates discuss Danchenko from the perspective of giving the FBI the source material (inside the dossier) to trigger the FISA surveillance authorities.  Yet, both miss the motive of why the FBI needed the FISA surveillance authority to cover for pre-existing unlawful surveillance that was already taking place prior to October of 2016.  WATCH:

¹Having spoken to staffers on these committees, this is one of the more frustrating issues to accept.  The silo effect, the outlook that only extends their investigation insofar as their legislative authority reaches, permits the Fourth Branch of Government to continue playing the Legislative Branch as fools.

During NASA Visit Kamala Harris Advocates for Rush Song Lyrics to Lead Policy for Environmental Justice

Quite remarkably yesterday, the affirmative action politician known as Kamala Harris advocated for the implementation of a social justice standard based on the lyrics of a 1978 rock song by the band Rush.   Yeah, this actually happened.

With a southern border in crisis, an economy in a state of chaos and massive inflation crushing the American people, Kamala Harris is worried about environmental racism and trees not getting enough social justice.  WATCH:

RUSH – The Trees

“There is unrest in the Forest
There is trouble with the trees
For the Maples want more sunlight
And the Oaks ignore their pleas.

The trouble with the Maples
(And they’re quite convinced they’re right)
They say the Oaks are just too lofty
And they grab up all the light
But the Oaks can’t help their feelings
If they like the way they’re made
And they wonder why the Maples
Can’t be happy in their shade?

There is trouble in the Forest
And the creatures all have fled
As the Maples scream ‘Oppression!’
And the Oaks, just shake their heads

So the Maples formed a Union
And demanded equal rights
‘The Oaks are just too greedy
We will make them give us light’
Now there’s no more Oak oppression
For they passed a noble law
And the trees are all kept equal
By hatchet,
Axe,
And saw…”

Joe Biden Mocks The American People – “They Don’t Understand Supply Chains” – The People are Rubes to Be Ruled, Not Listened To

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 6, 2021 | Sundance | 214 Comments

I’m not sure what is more blood boiling: that Joe Biden thinks it is okay to mock the American electorate, or that he actually believes the horse crap that comes out of his twisted, stupid brain.

The question was a perfectly well presented inquiry about the Biden administration’s incompetence to put policies in place to streamline the supply chain chaos that he has created.  His response is disconnected, absent of anything even remotely accurate, and entirely disconnected from factual substance.  This guy is a complete and utter failure of staggering and stunning incompetence.  WATCH:

I do not use the word ‘hate‘ lightly.  I have a solid grounding on what that word actually means.  However, the only people I hate worse than the current occupants of the White House, are the complicit DC media stenographers who sit there and giggle as this pontificating pustule of an idiot spouts nonsense. They clap and comply as if this is the professional or normal state of a functioning government.

COVID didn’t do squat to disrupt supply chains, impact prices or create massive shortages and inflation… people did.  Specifically, the people in the background of this administration who intentionally trashed the U.S. economy, because they are ideologically aligned with that destruction.  The current economic team is devoid of any real world experience that would shape their outlooks on how to solve problems. Example: Transportation Secretary, Pete Buttigieg.

[Transcript] – […] THE NATIONAL FOOL: (Laughs.) (The fool covers his eyes and points towards the press.) (Laughter.)

Q Mr. President, Democratic Congresswoman Abigail Spanberger said of your presidency this week: “Nobody elected him to be FDR. They elected him to be normal and stop the chaos.” How do you view your mandate after Tuesday’s election losses for Democrats? And is she wrong?

THE NATIONAL FOOL: Well, Abigail is a friend. We had a long talk. She joked and said that I have a picture — she said I have a picture of Roosevelt hanging in my office — her office, okay?

I don’t intend to anybody but Joe Biden. That’s who I am. And what I’m trying to do is do the things that I ran on to do. And, look, people out there are — ordinary, hardworking Americans are really, really — been put through the wringer the last couple years, starting with COVID.

COVID has disrupted almost every family one way or another, whether it’s wearing a mask or losing a family member. You know, 750,000-plus Americans dead — 750,000.

And so, people are worried. People are also worried about, you know, coming up — they don’t — understandably. “Why is the price of — of agricultural products — and when I go to the store, why is it higher?”

What — like, for example, if I had — if we were all going out and having lunch together and I said, “Let’s ask whoever the — whoever is at the next table, no matter how — what restaurant we’re in — have them explain the supply chain to us.” You think they’d understand what we’re talking about?

They’re smart people. But supply chain — “Well, why is everything backed up?” Well, it’s backed up because the people who supply the materials that end up being on our kitchen table or in our — in our fam- — our life — guess what? They’re closing those plants because they have COVID. They’re not —

And so, it’s a complicated world that people are facing. We’ve never faced anything like this before. I mean, I’m not saying it’s the worst of every time in American history, but we never faced anything this — this, sort of, defiant of understanding of what’s going on.

And you can understand why people are upset. And I — whether you have a PhD or you’re — or you’re working, you know, in a restaurant, it’s confusing. And so, people are understandably worried. They’re worried.

And so, all I can say is: What I’m going to try to do is explain to the American people, as best I can —

And, by the way, you all write for a living. I haven’t seen any one of you explain the supply chain very well. No, no, I’m not being critical. I’m being deadly earnest. When your editor says, “Explain the supply chain.” Okay? “Lots of luck in your senior year,” as my coach used to say. (Laughter.)

But — but I sincerely mean it. This is a confusing time — a confusing time. Think of all those children — all those children who may have lost more than a year of education by only being out one semester.

Think of all that’s going on, in terms of access to everything from — when you go back to college, if you’re in college — you go back to college — wear — you have to wear your mask or who’s your roommate. What — I mean, this is a confusing moment.

And it seems to me that my job as the President of the United States is to try to figure out — myself, as well — what is most needed to put people at ease and let them know there’s a way through this. There’s a way through this.

The world has never been here before. That sounds like hyperbole, but think about it. Think about it. This truly is one of those inflection points in history. All the pieces on the board are moving, both in terms of the — the relationships among and between nations, as well as the pieces about what employment future people have. How do we do this?

And so, this is a confusing time. But I promise — I promise the American people: I have one focus, “How do we give you some breathing room? How do we get you to the point where we take pressure off you so you can begin to get back to a degree of normality and we move to a different place?”

And this time when we move — and, by the way, everybody internationally uses “Build Back Better” now. When I used the phrase initially, people looked at me like, “Build Back Better?”

Well, what it means — we’re the only country in the world, gone through a crisis, to go through a crisis, and come out better than we were be- — before the crisis occurred. That’s building back better than it was before.

And so, this is a process. And I just — you know, we’re going to see. Take it every day, every moment at a — you know, one moment at a time. (READ MORE)

Powerful New Jersey Democrat, Steve Sweeney, Will Not Concede Election Because He Just Found 12,000 Ballots

New Jersey Democrat President Steve Sweeney was stunningly defeated by a truck driver named Edward Durr in last Tuesday’s elections.  However, Sweeney has refused to concede the election.

When questioned about why he refuses to concede, the most powerful Democrat in the New Jersey legislature said his campaign just found 12,000 ballots to help him. They don’t even try to hide the corruption anymore.

“The results from Tuesday’s election continue to come in, for instance there were 12,000 ballots recently found in one county,” Sweeney said in an email, not naming the county. “While I am currently trailing in the race, we want to make sure every vote is counted. Our voters deserve that, and we will wait for the final results.” (read more)

Disturbing and Unstable, Extreme Anger Flows from Joe Biden as He Shouts at Journalist Asking Question

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 6, 2021 | Sundance | 263 Comments

This guy is severely unstable.  Joe Biden has always been a man of rabid intemperate and unstable disposition, but his outbursts are getting worse and more alarming.

The White House occupant is well known in political circles for losing his temper; however, as the dementia takes away more of his cognitive function, his outbursts are getting more uncontrollable and difficult to manage.  Earlier today, Joe Biden was asked about his previous denials of paying illegal aliens $450,000 in a settlement.

When the question was originally asked three days ago, Biden had no idea what the journalist was talking about because the DOJ, HHS and DHS never consulted with him on their settlement discussions with the ACLU and lawyers for illegal aliens.  After three days of attempted cleanup, he came unglued today. WATCH:

Something Being Overlooked in the Danchenko Indictment – A Bigger Indictment of U.S. Media

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 6, 2021 | Sundance | 141 Comments

There is an issue being overlooked, well, not so much ‘overlooked’ per se’, but rather intentionally being ignored by everyone in the discussion.

Maybe not an 800lb gorilla in the room, but at least to a troop of screaming spider monkeys swinging from the drapes and chandeliers.

As everyone is well aware, back in 2016 the entire U.S. media apparatus was given copies of the Clinton-funded Christoper Steele dossier, as Fusion GPS worked every source in their contact list to push the fabricated claims into the headlines.  Eventually the stenographers in/around DC, led by CNN and Buzzfeed, acquiesced.

As a result of the Durham indictment, we now know a fellow named Igor Danchenko was working closely with Democrat Party public relations executive Charles Dolan to funnel the fabricated source material to Chris Steele.

Chris Steele, under contract with Fusion-GPS to assemble opposition research that would be used by allies in the media and FBI, then took the Danchenko/Dolan fabricated claims and put it into his dossier.

DOJ official Bruce Ohr, the husband of another Fusion-GPS employee Nellie Ohr, was used as the laundry conduit to put the dossier into the hands of the FBI.  Simultaneously Glenn Simpson took the dossier and shopped it to his media pals.  That’s how the entire story was created; and yes, we already knew most of this and Durham is simply filling in the details.   However, there is something missing from all reporting.

We know the dossier was used as the resource material for the October 21, 2016, FISA application -a Title 1 search warrant-  to conduct political surveillance against the Trump campaign by accusing Carter Page of being an agent of the Russian government.  The Steele dossier was essentially a substitute for the ‘woods file’ that justifies an intrusive search warrant against a U.S. citizen.  The dossier was the evidence used by the FBI and DOJ to justify the warrant application.

What’s missing from this context is not just the fabricated dossier in the hands of the media; but rather, in March 2017 the actual FISA application was in the hands of the media.   Not only did most mainstream U.S. media like Buzzfeed, Politico, The New York Times and the Washington Post have the dossier in their hands, effective March 17, 2017, they also had the full and unredacted FISA application as it was leaked by the Senate Intelligence Committee Security Director James Wolfe.

James Wolfe leaked the Carter Page FISA application on March 17th to journalist Ali Watkins.  The details of the process Wolfe used to leak the FISA application were outlined in Wolfe’s grand jury indictment and the subsequent filings in the DC criminal court case. {Go Deep}

Despite the fact that Wolfe entered a plea agreement with the DC U.S. Attorney Jessie Liu and was never charged with leaking the FISA application – you can debate the motive of that DC coverup in a much bigger context – there is zero doubt from the sworn affidavits of the FBI investigator of the case, Brian Dugan, that Wolfe leaked the FISA to the media.

♦ Why is that important?   Well, for the past five years, not only has the U.S. media had in their possession the Steele Dossier that was given to the FBI, but the U.S. media has also possessed (never admitted) the full and unredacted FISA application showing how the dossier was used in the FISA application.

The media, through journalist Ali Watkins, specifically Buzzfeed, Politico, New York Times and likely The Washington Post, have held the unredacted Carter Page FISA application and the Steele Dossier since early 2017.  They have never reported on their possession of it; likely because the unredacted and highly classified FISA application was unlawfully gained.

The media have never admitted it; but those same media outlets clearly have held the ability to see exactly how the dossier was used in the FISA application, because they have both the source material (dossier) and the outcome (FISA application).

As the Wall Street Journal takes these new Durham revelations and starts looking quizzically at Andrew Weissmann and Robert Mueller, in the softest way possible – attempting to avoid triggering all those DC sensibilities that might turn WSJ into a target – the fact that the media held both dossier and FISA application makes the screaming spider monkeys a little more difficult to ignore.  Yet ignore they must:

Wall Street Journal – … [H]is Durham indictment reads like a story with more to come, but some lessons are already clear. One question is why the country is only now learning these facts. The Durham indictments treat the FBI as the duped party, but the record shows former FBI director James Comey and his investigators knew from the summer of 2016 that Clinton campaign fingerprints were all over the dossier.

A transcript in the Danchenko indictment suggests that FBI officials knew Mr. Danchenko was lying in the 2017 interviews. But they did nothing to blow the whistle, nor to tell the public or Congress everything they had learned about the origins of the Russia collusion tale.

The Durham prosecutions also speak poorly of former special counsel Robert Mueller. Mr. Mueller’s job was to learn the facts about the collusion allegations, and he had access to everything that the FBI had learned. Yet the Mueller team, led by Democratic partisan Andrew Weissmann, never told the public the Clinton side of the story.

The media also has a lot to answer for. In its conformist disdain for Mr. Trump, the Washington press corps with rare exceptions pursued the Russia collusion story with partisan blinders. They gave each other awards for stories that in retrospect amounted to nothing or, worse, misinformation. Anyone who raised doubts about this narrative, even as the facts mounted against it, was deemed a “Trump enabler.”

The Washington Post this week offered a first sign of media self-reflection, noting the Durham indictments “cast new uncertainty on some past reporting on the dossier by news organizations,” including its own. Yes they do.  (read more)

Perhaps the media will eventually arrive to a place where they admit the entire purpose of Andrew Weissmann and Robert Mueller was to coverup the issues that are much bigger than the digestible bites John Durham is currently serving.

Regardless, let’s be clear with our own discussion.  Every single person in Washington DC, and every single person who reports on the people in Washington DC, knows that Robert Mueller’s purpose was to coverup for the corrupt activity of the FBI, DOJ, intelligence community and politicians in congress.  They all know it.  They all know it to a demonstrable certainty.  Yet, they pretend as if it’s something just not discussed in polite company.

F**k Joe Biden !

Why Did George Soros Receive a Stimulus Check?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Gov’t Incompetence Re-Posted Nov 6, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

Yet another example of government mismanagement at its finest. According to a new report by ProPublica, at least 18 billionaires received stimulus checks last year, although they were only to be received by individuals making under $75,000 annually. The stimulus checks did nothing to truly help the people struggling but were intended to pacify the people a little longer during the experimental lockdown. One of the billionaires who received a stimulus check was none other than George Soros, who has a net worth of around $7.5 billion. His representatives claim that they returned the check to the government. On paper, these people may appear to be making close to nothing as they know how to work the system in their favor.

House Passes $550B Infrastructure Bill – 13 Republicans Voted With Democrats

The final registered roll call vote will be [available here], it’s not yet registered.   However, at almost midnight the House finally passed the previous $550 billion Senate infrastructure bill.

After a day of backbiting and internal debate among the far-left communist wing and the socialist wing inside the Democrat caucus, Nancy Pelosi was forced to bring the long delayed ordinary infrastructure bill to a vote.  13 republicans supported it.  The final vote was 228/206.

This bill has a long backstory {SEE HERE}, as it was originally going to be connected to a massive Build Back Better social spending bill demanded by the communists in the House.  However, after months of attempts to structure some way to get two bills out of the House, one of them insanely over-the-top with social spending, eventually the communists were forced to let the original Senate bill come up for a stand alone vote.

With the Democrats needing a win, any win, to show they are capable of doing something…. they put this bill to a vote.   The future of their communist social spending bill is unknown.

Moonbat Milano Asks Audience if They Will Vaccinate Their 5 to 11-Year-Old Children, More Than 90 Percent Say NO

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 5, 2021 | Sundance | 42 Comments

The outcome of this informal twitter survey by far-left hacktress Alyssa Milano is likely not what she had in mind.

The rabid ultra-Democrat who wears four masks, worships Anthony Fauci and loves to pontificate about her enlightened outlooks on all things political, received responses from her followers to the question of whether they would vaccinate their 5 to 11-year-old children.

The overwhelming response from almost 100,000 people on Twitter, is “Let’s Go Brandon”!

It’s easy to dismiss this as a non-scientific survey.  However ,the NBC survey recently released had a similar outcome.

When the issue turns to children being vaccinated under age 11, the vaccine advocacy position gets even worse politically. 64% of people with children under age 11 say they would not vaccinate their kids or would wait to see more data on long term consequences. Only 27% of respondents said they would immediately vaccinate their children with the untested COVID vaccine. That makes a political issue even worse for Democrats.  [Polling Pdf Here]

DeSantis: “People Are Moving to States That Value Freedom”

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on November 5, 2021 | Sundance | 144 Comments

The professional Marxists are coming up against the reality of their minority position worldview.  Earlier today the Democrat Governor’s Association (DGA) informed the political club insiders the DGA are not going to fund any candidate attempting to unseat Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. {LINK} The underlying message from the democrat apparatus is clear, attempting to win a large race in the increasingly free state of Florida is futile.

Meanwhile Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has scored two big wins for freedom with court cases affirming the state position that parental choice in the school mask option is legal and safe. {LINK} School districts in blue regions are being forced to reverse their effort to force students to wear masks.  DeSantis and the Florida legislature have won that battle with support from reasonable science and factual medical research.

At the same time Florida Attorney General Ashley Moody has filed a petition for review of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) mandatory vaccine rule within the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta. {LINK}  This fulfills a promise by Governor DeSantis to trigger a direct fight against the Biden administration on the issue of mandatory vaccinations.   This effort, also taking place in other circuit courts around the nation, has obvious implications.

Amid the larger fight for freedom, Florida Governor Ron DeSantis spoke Friday at the National Conference of State Legislatures (NCSL) and used this ppportunity to tout his record and blast Democrats and the Biden administration.  WATCH:

Governor DeSantis is doing well on a state level, with the issues of freedom, liberty and constitutional constraints of government.  He is doing a lot correctly.

However, there is no indication -yet- that he would be willing or able to confront the issue of toxic globalism on a national scale with strength to advance the issues of economic nationalism that underpin the biggest freedom issue for Making America Great Again.  On the big picture issue of Wall Street -vs- Main Street, the direct confrontation of multinational corporations to support the American middle-class, DeSantis has yet to take a public position.
