QUESTION #1: Hi Martin
Do you ever wish Socrates was wrong? Sometimes I do!
All the best
Maria
QUESTION #2: Marty; I have been following you since the Nineties. You have never been wrong, or should I say, Socrates. I also know how you have saved many companies since I was there at the board meeting ——–. I also know you have tried your best to influence Washington, and have resigned yourself to giving up. Do you think that Socrates could ever be wrong?
PM
ANSWER: I have simply taken the view that it is better to see a punch coming than to be sucker-punched. The world will not end. It is merely indeed a Great Reset which I think Schwab has taken from our model. He is trying to make it happen and push the outcome in his direction. Schwab is just an old academic. They theorize things rather than try to discover how things function. Smith tried to figure out how it worked. Marx tried to change how it worked. That remains the difference between Klaus and me.
Yes, I have tried to get through to those in power in vain. They turned to Klaus because of his way they got more power. They would have to surrender power if they chose my way. I can wish the outcome would be different – of course. Perhaps when I am gone, someone will champion what I have discovered like Smith during the post-2032 era. As individuals, we learn from our personal experiences. Our problem is that society repeats history because it is incapable of ever learning from past mistakes as an individual. Leaders are replaced, and never do they reflect upon the past. They all have some idea they assume it’s always new.
We need to create a system that learns from the past. Perhaps something like Socrates, where you ask it a question, and it returns an unbiased answer. Perhaps then society, just for once, could actually advance instead of moving two steps forward and three back.
So yes, I wish Socrates would be wrong. But on the other hand, I also realize that is impossible until society can learn from its past mistakes like a child and retain that knowledge to advance society – just once!

Numerous European nations have already stated that energy would be rationed during the winter. The Northeast area of America will now be required to ration energy as well. Biden released 15 million barrels from the emergency reserves to aid the Democrats in the 2022 US midterm elections. He did not provide any oil to the Northeast home heating oil reserve that is currently experiencing a shortage.
Bloomberg reported that some wholesalers in Connecticut have already put a limit on the amount of available fuel and must ration their customers’ consumption. Former Maine Gov. Paul LePage is urging the current Democratic Gov. Janet Mills to beg Washington for assistance before it is too late.
“Today, just about an hour ago, we got information from a local oil dealer… oil right now, tonight at five o’clock, is $5.69. Kerosene is $6.69 a gallon. This is what we’re facing right now,” LePage said. Republican state rep nominee Mike Grant called the current issue a crisis. “As we enter home heating oil season, diesel prices are nearing $6 per gallon. This is a nothing short of a crisis for CT families. To make things worse, in 72 days, the CT Dems will begin taxing home heating fuel trucks for delivering your oil to you. More inflationary pressure!” he tweeted.
That’s right, the Democrats want to implement additional taxes on fuel amid an energy crisis. Some families will simply be unable to heat their homes this winter. People will be forced to choose between warming their homes or filling their refrigerators. Our emergency reserves are being used as a voting bargaining chip instead of for their intended purpose. Americans will soon see the full effect of the energy crisis AFTER the midterm elections when these ignored issues come to a head.
Protests over the rising cost of energy are popping up throughout the West. Over the weekend, thousands of Germans from six different cities took to the streets to express their dismay. This particular day of protests was organized by the trade union ver.di and Greenpeace, and their ideas for lowering costs differ.
The trouble is that Greenpeace is protesting for lower energy costs by ending the global dependence on fossil fuels. Those who are protesting to lower energy taxation and costs must realize that this can only be done by using the resources that are currently available. There is no alternative to fossil fuel at this time that can be used on a grand scale to power the planet. Perhaps a great mind will find the means for the creative destruction of fossil fuels. Until then, wind, solar, and even nuclear power are not quick fixes.
Over 2,700 people in Frankfurt, 2,300 people in Dusseldorf, 1,800 in Berlin, and 1,500 in Hanover took to the streets, although Greenpeace originally estimated the turnout to be 24,000. Unrest will grow as the winter approaches and prices rise. It is important for protests to have a clear message. We can lower costs, but we can’t eliminate our dependence on gas at this time.
Chancellor Olaf Scholz, Economy Minister Robert Habeck, and Finance Minister Christian Lindner revealed a plan in September worth up to 200 billion euros to help businesses and households, but it is not enough to combat inflation mixed with the rapid decline in supply. Lindner has stated that Germany is in an “energy war” with Russia.
What they do not realize is that this was a kamikaze mission as far as energy is concerned. No nation cared about Ukraine prior to February 2022. Ukraine was not allowed to join the euro or NATO. Plans to punish Russia have backfired, and now the people will suffer due to mindless politicians who want to enter a grand-scale war for reasons unknown.
As expected, the poster boy for the World Economic Forum’s climate change agenda, Rishi Sunak, has been selected and installed by the British Conservative Party to be the U.K Prime Minister.
Earlier today, U.K. Brexit leader Nigel Farage gave his opinion. WATCH:

Reports first circulated that Iranian soldiers were training Russians to operate drones after numerous reports of technical failures. Both Tehran and Moscow denied the allegations, but the writing was on the wall. Now, there are reports of at least ten Iranians dying from Ukrainian air strikes.
Some ask whether it would be safer for Russian soldiers to train in Iran, but they’re missing the point. The “training” is no different than fighting alongside Russian troops. Over 20 Iranian instructors have been spotted in Crimea and Kherson Oblast.
“The Russians took Iranian instructors to the territory of the temporarily occupied Kherson Region and Crimea to launch Shahed-136 kamikaze drones,” the Ukrainian Nation Resistance Center claimed. “They teach the Russians how to use kamikaze drones, and directly monitor the launch of drones on Ukrainian civilian targets, including strikes on Mykolaiv and Odesa.”
This open door is an invitation for foreign troops to fight alongside Ukraine or Russia under the premise of training. It matters not who is holding the controls as the training is taking place in an active warzone. Ukraine is already asking foreign nations to begin “testing” their military defenses on their soil, pointed at the Russians. “Today hundreds of Iranian drones are undergoing ‘test runs’ on our land, killing civilians,” the Defense Ministry wrote on Twitter. “These drones were not intended for use against Ukraine. To have a strategic advantage over its enemy, Israel should conduct a ‘test run’ of its air defenses Ukraine is the best testing ground.”
Iran could turn around and declare this an act of war or use this as an excuse to fuel the flames. If someone from the West or an Asian ally were training Ukrainian forces in a warzone, their individual government would certainly escalate the situation if Russians killed their soldiers. Iranians are already on the ground fighting alongside Russians, paving the way for other nations to join the fighting on the frontlines.
The moves are so predictable… {See Here}… well, it would be funny if the consequences were not so severe.
With Prime Minister Liz Truss announcing her resignation there was considerable discussion of former PM Boris Johnson returning to run for the job. However, as an outcome of his conversations with other “conservatives” in British politics, Johnson has withdrawn his name. This sets up… wait for it…. the World Economic Forum’s groomed U.K. climate change “conservative” to take the job. This stuff is so predictable, it’s beyond funny.

(Via CBS) – Former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said in a statement Sunday that he would not seek the leadership of the Conservative Party, leaving former Treasury chief Rishi Sunak as the frontrunner to take over after Liz Truss hastily announced her exit last week, after just 45 days at the helm. Prime Minister Rishi Sunak together with King Charles III…. What could possibly go wrong? LOL
Sometimes people make fun of me for cementing my views in the reality of a big picture perspective. I don’t care. It’s not a conspiracy theory to see how the alignment of western leadership interests are shaped by the control of the people and institutions who manipulate the illusion of choice.
Liz Truss was dispatched because she dared, in the smallest way, to accept the reality of what created the ‘Build Back Better‘ U.K. economic crisis. She was always going to be replaced by someone who was willing and able to retain their fullest devotion to the grand pretense. That’s where Rishi Sunak steps in. Please watch the video below, you’ll see:

It’s all connected folks…. all of it.
…They have one job!

All around this western world of ours we find ourselves surrounded by economic pretenders and financial pundits, perhaps intentionally stuck, using old school economic theory to analyze a new era in government manipulation of the economy. It’s maddening… but at least we do not need to pretend on these pages.

Milton Friedman was not wrong at the time he stated that inflation is driven by monetary policy. Print money and the value of it diminishes; this is true.
However, we are in an era that Friedman never foresaw, nor could he fathom, where the structural policy of government is created to intentionally shrink economic activity.
Purposefully reducing energy resources and then purposefully reducing economic activity to match the diminished level of energy available, is the underlying purpose of what the western globalists call “Building Back Better.” The claim of “climate change” is the justification for their action. Too few people truly understand this, and as a result we see false arguments about the root of inflation being presented.
The ROOT CAUSE of modern western inflation is the intentional shortage of traditional energy resources (coal, oil, gas), which is driving up the price of the everything attached to the use of energy, everything. It is a supply side causation with policymakers trying to forcibly shrink energy demand. Quit making excuses in any other direction.
As energy products skyrocket, everything attached to the energy product rises in price – that is a supply side issue. Yes, if you wish to be obtuse and support the justification from the policymakers, you can -if you chose to join the pretending- argue that demand for energy is the cause. However, demand for energy is far more consistent than the reductions in the supply that have been created.
If it took a bucket of coal to power your house for a month, and I was driving around your neighborhood with a limit of six buckets of coal, each bucket would be worth more than last month because each neighbor would become increasingly desperate for the energy resource.
Neighbors would outbid each other in order to secure their bucket of coal. The price of the bucket increases with fewer and fewer buckets available. This is supply side inflation. No new houses are built, the demand is the same. It is the lesser availability of the coal buckets that is driving the price.
Policymakers want you to lower your energy use, ie lower your standard of living, to match the decreased availability of the energy resource (microeconomics).
In the macro view the monetary policy makers are doing the same thing to the aggregate economy by raising interest rates to shrink it (shrinking demand). This is being done on purpose. This is the agenda of Build Back Better. Quit making excuses for it or buying into their false justifications.
Milton Friedman was correct in his era, about expanded monetary policy making money worth less. However, Friedman never foresaw a time when government policy would be intentionally designed to reduce key supplies.
Government is regulating and restricting energy development, driving the price for each unit of energy developed higher, and as a deliberate outcome inflicting economic pain. Friedman never saw this in his lifetime. Friedman never saw true supply side inflation on this scale.
The private sector (energy providers) is restricted by policy makers. This is purposeful. Remove the regulatory and policy stranglehold restricting supply, and the downstream prices will drop. Unfortunately, and collectively, western leaders do not want prices to drop…. which would increase demand and expand economic activity. So, they continue to intentionally shrink the western economies.
As people are paying more for basic life sustaining energy products, they stop purchasing anything else.
Housing, shelter, energy, food and fuel are the priority. For most wage earners that’s all they can afford. The result is lower western nation economic activity on non-essential goods and services, which is the plan.
Consider this [Import Data]:

September is traditionally the month when all holiday goods arrive. The Port of Los Angeles (POLA) is the largest port in the United States. The slowdown of goods being imported [DATA HERE] is a majority outcome of a drop in demand for those goods. The Port of Long Beach [Data Here] is the same.
And the issue is not just West Coast ports. All ports are seeing a massive drop in imports:
[American Shipper] – […] September’s 313,311-TEU decline versus August was the steepest month-to-month drop recorded by Descartes since the 364,454-TEU plunge in February 2020 versus the month before, back when Chinese authorities first locked down Wuhan.
“We’ve had a pretty significant correction here,” said Chris Jones, executive vice president of industry and services at Descartes Systems Group, in an interview with American Shipper on Monday.
This is normally the time of year when imports seasonally decline — but not by this much. “There was an inflection, and it was a big one,” he said. “In some respects, this is not inconsistent with other years [pre-COVID]. It’s just more severe.” (read more)
With demand for non-essential goods and services collapsing, and with the economy continuing to shrink, why would the central banks keep raising interest rates?
Quit being a codependent enabler. Accept the reality…
The central banks, including the U.S. federal reserve, are trying to shrink the economy.
Energy policy is driving supply side inflation. Monetary policymakers are trying to support the energy policy by lowering economic activity to the level of decreased energy development.
The central banks are justifying rate increases saying they are trying to lower inflation by lowering demand. This part is true. However, the demand they are trying to lower, is the demand for energy.
The politicians and banks are trying to make people poorer.
Poor people are easier to manage.
This is ultimately what they mean by “managing the transition.”
You are what is being managed.
Every other claim is bullsh!t.

The very question posed to Lukashenko demonstrates how biased the media is. There is ZERO independence and certainly ZERO effort by any investigative journalist to challenge whatever either side says in a war because it is always a propaganda war simultaneously. Zelensky was voted in to create peace and carry out the Minsk Agreement. The US and NATO told him NOT to negotiate peace. This is a proxy war and this is the real issue that the media refuses to even discuss.
