Before watching this short statement by former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy {Direct Rumble Link}, let me remind everyone of the baseline truth.
Democrats want power; Republicans want money. Threaten Democrats power, they get vicious. Threaten Republicans money, they get vicious. Democrats use money to get power; Republicans use power to get money. The ideology of the democrats drives their donor activity. The donor activity drives the republican ideology.
This is the core and essential difference between both wings of the DC UniParty, two wings of the same vulture. This is the truth of the thing. Underline it, put it on Post-It notes, remind yourself of this baseline in all review of both parties. This is the core motive behind everything!
To hammer this point home, listen to this soundbite from Kevin McCarthy speaking at Oxford University, U.K. WATCH:
Why does Kevin McCarthy only see rich white republicans? Because Kevin McCarthy only sees rich, white republicans.
Get it?
The MAGA base is invisible to Republicans.
The MAGA base is the most diverse coalition in U.S. political history. MAGA cuts across all races, national origin, color and creed definitions. MAGA is a massive cross section of every American segment. MAGA is pure American! The republican party cannot see it, because the republican party cannot see it.
In many ways, We The People are in an abusive relationship with government.
If you do not agree with the agenda as it is controlled by a small a powerful self-described elitist class, then we become the problem.
The division is not determined by our definitions, the conniving and corrupt administrators of the system are the ones creating the division we are accused of perpetrating. However, there is no division in a social context as clear as the division between the working class and the investment class rulers who consider themselves above such arbitrary labels.
When you peel the issues down to their essential core, what you will always find, always find, is the money of the thing.
The created system of control is maintained through economics, and any America-First policy that threatens to close the divide between the ‘haves and have-nots’ is viewed against their interests. This is the essential core of the opposition we face.
A thriving middle class is a powerful political balance. But a working class struggling for scraps doesn’t have the time to deliver accountability. This division of wealth is what the Washington DC UniParty exploits. Despite their pontificating lies to the contrary, all of the DC systems are created to take advantage of the wealth gap.
The social structures which create and maintain society are easier to control with a divided nation.
President Trump and the coalition of MAGA represents a true existential threat to this perpetuated system of division. The America-First economic agenda created exclusively by Donald Trump is the main problem at the heart of all MAGA opposition.
Quite simply the America First agenda puts *their* money at stake, and collectively that amounts to trillions of dollars in multinational globalist financial control. The scale of the money behind the MAGA opposition is really the biggest challenge; it is almost unfathomable, and that scale is represented within the size of the war chest they assembled for Ron DeSantis.
The top of this financial pyramid holds a grip on political power that is threatened by the worldview, outlook and economic nationalist policy of Donald Trump. The top this system will not ‘lose’ with America-First Trump; however, they will gain at a slower rate. This group will not leave their throne, they only see a slower assembling within their vaults.
The Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street and World Economic Forum crews will follow the America-First policy and invest in America, they will just hate doing it. They will hate the best-play of slower gains because the returns are not as lucrative, expedient or fraught with the simple indulgences of their custom.
However, underneath that top-tier, there are many layers of vested financial interests at lesser but more generational risk. The Cornwallis crowd will see a much more difficult time advancing their influence and affluence with America-First in place. For this tier of powdered wigs, a loss for them could really change things. This reality is why you see demographic polling showing the more affluent the respondent, the less supportive of MAGA their responses.
It’s not a class war, per se’, it is something far deeper within the psyche and outlook of people. The need for control is a reaction to fear. Losing influence and affluence is the fear behind the division. If we make the totalitarians a better sandwich, if we reach across the aisle and afford benefit of high-minded doubt, maybe our professional abusers will permit us to keep a little more… Ultimately, the chase for scraps.
This sensibility, this triggering of selfish fear, is a powerful tool. This is exactly what is being intentionally and purposefully triggered by those who are professionally political, and they are doing it for their own benefit. It is not necessarily about creating a class war; it is more akin to controlling the wealth of a nation and then forcing groups to position themselves for what remains.
The ‘us -vs- them‘ scenario is not Republicans -vs- Democrats, it’s We The People, represented by MAGA, -vs- the totalitarian rulers in both parties.

When CNN announced they were hosting two debates for the GOPe candidates in Iowa and New Hampshire, the supposition was that the RNC had given two debates to the network. The assumption was because the RNC, and the four remaining first-loser candidates, had previously held an agreement that only RNC sanctioned debates would be permitted, and the candidates would only attend RNC sanctioned debates.
However, it turns out that fake news CNN went rogue in organizing the unsanctioned debates.
There are multiple facets worth considering, and considerable ramifications within the entire construct.
First, the RNC didn’t even know about the plans of CNN. “The respective debates, set for Jan. 10 in Des Moines and Jan. 21 just outside Manchester, aren’t sanctioned by the RNC, which has organized the first four debates, including Wednesday night’s broadcast in Alabama,” according to Politico. Additionally, “campaigns have continuously complained about current RNC rules, which say a candidate who participates in an unsanctioned debate is barred from future RNC-approved gatherings. But the RNC’s debate committee is expected to meet Friday to discuss officially removing that rule, according to three people with knowledge of the group’s plans.”
Fake News CNN lived up to their nickname by not even informing the debate venues of their plan prior to yesterday’s announcement. It’s all very weird and curious:
(New York Times) – […] With great fanfare this week, CNN announced it would host the network’s first debate of the 2024 presidential campaign, gathering the Republican candidates for a marquee event on Jan. 21 at Saint Anselm College in New Hampshire.
There was only one problem: Saint Anselm had no idea what CNN was talking about.
“We were surprised to be included on a press release by a network about a debate which we had not planned or booked,” Neil Levesque, executive director of the New Hampshire Institute of Politics at Saint Anselm, said in a statement on Friday.
The chairman of New Hampshire’s Republican Party, Chris Ager, went a little further. “The CNN thing came out and everybody’s like, ‘What the heck?’” Mr. Ager said in an interview. “I’m still scratching my head. And I still haven’t been contacted by CNN at all.” (more)
By midday on Friday, CNN was being battered with questions from Republicans, candidates and other media outlets. It’s all just seemingly bizarre.
The RNC made an official statement today saying the RNC is no longer hosting debates for the 2024 GOP primary. This is a little funny considering that Donald Trump never participated, and the candidates who aligned with the RNC debates have lower support numbers now than before the debate series began.
WASHINGTON – The Republican National Committee is pausing its participation in 2024 GOP primary debates, the organization decided Friday.
The RNC’s decision, made by a 16-member internal body, means that any forthcoming debates will be hosted by networks independently of the committee. Two outlets — ABC and CNN — have announced plans to host future debates in Iowa and New Hampshire ahead of early state voting. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis already said he will attend CNN’s planned Iowa debate before next month’s caucuses and ABC’s planned New Hampshire debate.
“We have held four successful debates across the country with the most conservative partners in the history of a Republican primary. We have no RNC debates scheduled in January and any debates currently scheduled are not affiliated with the RNC,” the RNC’s Committee on Presidential Debates said in a statement. “It is now time for Republican primary voters to decide who will be our next President and candidates are free to use any forum or format to communicate to voters as they see fit.” (more)
Essentially, it all boils down to this. The RNC initially thought they could stop Trump; however, the RNC debate series intended to generate that narrative has failed miserably. Donald Trump is supported more now than he was when the field of first-loser candidates assembled against him. Having failed, the RNC backs away slowly.
The CNN announcement, and the gleeful almost immediate acceptance by DeSantis et al, reflects a general desperation. The effort to stop Trump now falls on the leftist corporate media, who are aligned with the remaining four GOP candidates: DeSantis, Haley, Ramaswamy and Christie.
The agreement and alignment between the remaining candidates, and the corrupt media apparatus, only highlights the fraudulent reason those candidates were assembled in the first place. The ‘stop Trump’ effort was/is the purpose of their candidacy; actually, winning the GOP nomination was/is irrelevant. This non-pretending reality exposes the strings on the four remaining marionettes.
It is serendipitous the events rolled out the way they did. Fraudulent men had plans, but God has a sense of humor. The implosion of a heavily controlled GOP field is only spotlighted more by the few remaining candidates continuing to compete for first-loser status.
Why would any Republican agree to a CNN debate knowing the nature of the lies and fraud CNN has pushed for the past several years. Any normally minded Republican candidate would never agree or participate, and therein lies the point. These are not normally minded politicians; their agenda is something else entirely.
President Donald Trump is unlikely to participate in any debate. The premise of the debates themselves is silly, and the only reason the candidates are agreeing to more debates is that the corporate and billionaire donors to them are demanding every effort be exhausted. At this point it is pathetic.

At a certain point you just start laughing at the insufferable corporate club, a corporation we call the RNC and all those therein.
It’s not really fair to blame Ronna, because just about any other corporate officer from within the corporation would provide the same outcome. However, that said, Ronna McDaniel has scheduled the Iowa and New Hampshire Republican primary debates to be under the control of CNN; yes, fake news CNN.
CNN – CNN will host two Republican presidential primary debates next month in Iowa and New Hampshire – states that hold the first contests in the race for the 2024 GOP nomination, the network announced Thursday.
The events will provide Republican voters an opportunity to hear the governing philosophies of the leading candidates seeking to challenge the likely Democratic presidential nominee, President Joe Biden, in November.
The first debate will take place on January 10 at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa, less than a week before Iowa caucus-goers weigh in on the Republican presidential race. The second debate will be January 21 at St. Anselm College in Goffstown, New Hampshire. (read more)
If we retain our non-pretending status, we all know the reason why. CNN provides the mechanisms for domestic political narrative creation. The RNC will keep attempting to eliminate the Trump virus from their controlled political operation up until the very end. The RNC agenda and the CNN agenda are the same; that reality is why this decision. Yes, it really is that simple.
The functional mission of the UniParty apparatus is not based on ideology; the core and consequential baseline revolves around the business of American politics and the motives of the people who control the institutions within it. For this outline I focus only on the Republican wing, the GOP corporation, one side of the professional business apparatus.
WRITE THIS DOWN, and force yourself to remember it every day. “The Republican Party priority is to retain their business, to control the outcomes, and this has nothing to do with winning elections.” The RNC would rather lose elections and retain power, than win elections and lose operational control over the apparatus.
In the past several decades, the motive of a Republican or Democrat politician, advancing their influence by running for political office, has absolutely nothing to do with representing the interests of the American people. Nothing. Their interests are to engage within the business of politics, while presenting themselves as qualified actors, to retain the premise of political service. This is why they will spend $10 million to win an office that only pays $400k/yr.
The business of buying, selling and controlling policy, is the core operation of people within the US political system. As an outcome, the business has two wings – the RNC and the DNC. Two private corporations inside the political industry who are in place to retain the overall business model. The RNC and DNC are both funded by the same interests, banks, corporations, Wall St interests, and even foreign interests who purchase outcomes.
The RNC and DNC are two operational wings inside the industry of politics. They are in the same business, but they have slightly different business models.
The Republicans (RNC) want money, the Democrats (DNC) want power. The Republicans use power to get money; the Democrats use money to get power. The donor activity of the Republicans drives their agenda. The agenda of the Democrats drives their donor activity. It is a subtle nuance, but once you really understand it, everything falls into place.
The Republican politicians are ambivalent to the outcomes of the Democrats. The Republican group only cares about the money. Threaten the power of the Democrats, and you get a toxic and violent response. Threaten the money of the Republicans, and you get exactly the same level of response.
Democrats are triggered when you threaten their power, their ability to control. Republicans are triggered when you threaten their money – their ability to enrich.
The primary of 2024 is the election season when we see firsthand this corporate battle explode inside in the Republican group. Decades of entrenched power are at stake, and there have been four years of counter positioning and backroom discussion leading up to this moment.
As a consequence, and I know this might sound odd to many people – but winning and/or losing elections becomes a secondary issue. The people who control the RNC as a private corporation, the people who fund the business, are not focused on winning elections. The RNC corporation is focused on retaining mission control.
The RNC wants to give the illusion of support for MAGA conservatism, because the illusion of choice requires a base voter. However, every move they make, on an operational level, is exactly in line with their previous outlook toward cocktail-class corporate republicanism. The MAGA base of support cannot trust this corporate group, and we must not be blind or unguarded about the Machiavellian schemes they construct.
Donald Trump is not a problem for the Republican Party; Donald Trump is our response to the problem within the Republican Party.
Republicans are far more violent, hate-filled and vitriolic than Democrats when their money is threatened. As long as the money is not threatened, Republicans happily play the game and permit the Democrats to purchase their votes and support. However, threaten the money of the Republicans, and they will be the very first to go nuclear… including the intentional loss of any/all elections in order to preserve their stake.
This dichotomy, ambivalence and illusion, is what you saw in the 2018 midterms, 2020 general and 2022 midterms from the professional Republicans. The MAGA team, who identify as Republicans as a method for ballot entry, are the only ones who will fight to change this dynamic. Therefore, the Republican Party views the MAGA insurgents as the enemy that must be removed.
Now, to Iowa…
The Republican Party of Iowa Central Committee has refused to set a date by which a voter must choose Republican voter affiliation in order to participate in the January 15 caucus. The private club is positioning to block the MAGA insurgency and advance the DeSantis operation; because if the approved RNC candidate doesn’t win in Iowa, Godzilla Trump will take the momentum and destroy the club.
The result is that Iowa Democrats (who have screwed up their own caucuses, so they will be free on Jan. 15) will swarm the Republican caucuses to cause mischief. Iowans, who are not stupid, know exactly what “mischief” means in this context. At best, it means a rough night and some bruises. At worst, ask Joe Biggs.
This is an inside job by the Republican Party of Iowa. During the legislative session earlier this year, they were all set to pass a bill setting the deadline for registration at 70 days prior to the caucus date. Then, suddenly, the “lawyers” said legislators had to take that provision out, and that the Republican Party of Iowa would handle it by resolution.
The private corporation needs control.
As we have witnessed in Georgia, watch the professional party apparatus in Iowa align with a singular mission – to protect their business model.
♦ In Iowa – the SEA ISLAND DeSantis crew have funded and planted Ron DeSantis to camp out. The RNC, RGA and SI Group are supported by their beneficiary RGA Chair and Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds. The goal is to use the Jeff Roe Cruz Crew, and roughly 1,000 paid Never Back Down (NBD) conscripts to do the stop Trump astroturf.
Let me emphasize a key point. The professionally Republican Party apparatus is not positioning to win the 2024 election. The goal of the Republican Party is to remove the threat represented by Donald Trump. That’s why the alignment with CNN surfaces.
When you start there, all of the RNC weaknesses or flaws look very different, very purposeful.
Donald J. Trump isn’t the cause of the Republican failure; he is our response to their failure.
The people in control of Republican Club do not care who is in the White House, that is a secondary objective. What they care about right now is controlling the Republican corporation and stopping the hostile takeover.]

Former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy announced in a Wall Street Journal op-ed [SEE HERE] that he is leaving congress at the end of this year and will not seek reelection.
This announcement follows significant sunlight upon the GOPe wing of the DC Uniparty, as the big ugly battle between the voting base and the detached professional Republican apparatus rages on. Based on policy advocacy and votes registered, there are approximately 100 establishment GOP House Republicans, who represent DC interests, and approximately 100 Republicans in the House who honor the representative wishes of their constituents. It is a pretty even split.
Despite that 50/50 reality, the pragmatic conservative base, the America-First MAGA movement, is in far better shape than ever before. Having slightly more than half of the Republican House representing the people is significantly more than in the past 20 years. Thanks to the sunlight provided by Donald Trump, we have made progress. Here’s McCarthy’s announcement.
(Via Wall Street Journal) – I’m an optimist. How could I not be? I’m the son of a firefighter. For 17 years I’ve served in the same congressional seat—the same office in which I was once denied an internship. Only in America.
I helped lead Republicans to a House majority—twice. We got more Republican women, veterans and minorities elected to Congress at one time than ever before. I remained cheerfully persistent when elected speaker because I knew what we could accomplish.
Even with slim margins in the House, we passed legislation to secure the border, achieve energy independence, reduce crime, hold government accountable and establish a Parents’ Bill of Rights. We did exactly what we said we would do.
We kept our eyes on America’s long-term global challenges by restoring the Intelligence Committee to its original charter and establishing a bipartisan Select Committee on the Chinese Communist Party.
We reduced the deficit by more than $2 trillion, revamped work requirements for adults on the sidelines, cut red tape for critical domestic energy projects, and protected the full faith and credit of the U.S. We kept our government operating and our troops paid while wars broke out around the world.
No matter the odds, or personal cost, we did the right thing. That may seem out of fashion in Washington these days, but delivering results for the American people is still celebrated across the country.
It is in this spirit that I have decided to depart the House at the end of this year to serve America in new ways. I know my work is only getting started.
I will continue to recruit our country’s best and brightest to run for elected office. The Republican Party is expanding every day, and I am committed to lending my experience to support the next generation of leaders. (read more)
McCarthy’s departure represents a significant change in the GOPe apparatus. There is a lot of work that needs to be done to shift the Republican Party back to a party that is focused on America, but it is much improved this year.
On Tuesday, Rep. Patrick McHenry (R-N.C.), the chairman of the House Financial Services Committee and a former member of House GOP leadership, said he wouldn’t run for re-election, though he will serve out the remainder of his term.
[McCarthy’s] retirement will also kick off a race for his Bakersfield-based district seat, which is solidly red. And there are plenty of ambitious GOP politicians eager for a rare shot at a safe seat. If McCarthy resigns after Friday at 5 p.m., as expected, then Democratic Gov. Gavin Newsom can choose whether to call a special election or keep the seat vacant until the next election. He chose the latter in 2020, when former Rep. Duncan Hunter (R-Calif.) resigned after pleading guilty to misusing campaign funds.
If McCarthy formally steps down before Friday at 5 p.m., then Newsom would have to call the special election due to filing deadline rules. (more)

The deliberate invasion of America was permitted by the same people who want to give illegals the opportunity to vote. Nonprofit shelters will be required to provide non-citizens with paperwork to register to vote in upcoming elections, and New York has stipulated that the paperwork must be available in Spanish as well as Chinese.
Staten Island Rep. Nicole Malliotakis claims that her team discovered that migrants were being encouraged to vote after requesting information through the Freedom of Information law. The Department of Social Services denies her claims against the organization Homes for the Homeless. “These allegations are false and baseless. DHS is legally required to include language around voter registration in shelter contracts and this guidance applies only to eligible clients who are citizens, and would clearly not apply to asylum seekers in shelter,” a spokesperson said. Malliotakis and her team state that they firmly believe the city “intends to register non-citizens to vote” as there is an entire section of the contract with Homes for the Homeless that details voter registration.
Blue cities have been attempting to allow illegals to vote. In January 2022, NYC Mayor Eric Adams celebrated a new piece of legislation that would have permitted 800,000 “Dreamers” to register to vote. The measure was later found to be unconstitutional, but rest assured that the Dems will continue to fight for migrants to have the ability to vote and influence foreign elections. State election laws clearly say, “no person shall be qualified to register for and vote at any election unless he is a citizen of the United States.” Permitting illegals to vote is a direct violation of the Constitution that dictates “every citizen shall be entitled to vote at every election.” I could not enter China and vote in their election as that would be preposterous. Yet countless politicians across the West believe that they should have access to a new demographic of voters.
It is already happening in places like Ireland, where politicians pushed for non-citizen voting in 2019. “Immigration” to Ireland is at a 16-year high as the nation added over 100,000 new people this year alone. Only 30 to 50% of migrants in Ireland have registered, and various political agencies have launched multi-lingual campaign ads to increase migrant voter registration. Millions of migrants have infiltrated Western nations this year. The leverage they could have at the voting booth is of concern.

On November 29th, JPMorgan CEO said those who control American politics should donate to and support Nikki Haley {LINK}. A week later she brought her tin cup to Wall Street.
(Via NBC) – Former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley raised over $500,000 at a massive fundraising event in New York Monday attended by top Wall Street financiers, according to people familiar with the matter.
The sheer amount of money Haley raised reflects the formidable and financially viable campaign she is creating. At this rate, Haley’s campaign could be well positioned to compete against former President Donald Trump, first in the Iowa caucuses, and then the New Hampshire and South Carolina primaries.
The venue for this week’s fundraiser was the luxurious Upper West Side penthouse of former Facebook executive Campbell Brown and Dan Senor, chief public affairs officer at the hedge fund Elliot Investment Management, according to people familiar with the matter. The address was only provided to guests who RSVP’d.
Several co-hosts listed on the invitation also had ties to Elliot Management founder and longtime Republican donor Paul Singer, including Annie Dickerson, a “close confidante” of Singer’s for years, according to Politico. Steve Cohen, a partner and the head of trading at Elliot Investment Management, was also there.
Cliff Asness, a co-founder of investment firm AQR Capital Management, Kristin Lemkau, CEO of JPMorgan Chase’s wealth management division, Robert Rosenkranz, head of Delphi Capital Management and Ray Chambers, a philanthropist who once had a stake in the NHL’s New Jersey Devils were all spotted. This is kind of awesome in a pathetic and funny way. Worse still, every time I write about him you guys make me hungry for donuts. However, that said, and because laughing is a key ingredient to living our best life, if you can get past the Laura Ingraham lip treatment aspect, Chris Christie sounds desperate.
Appearing on Face the Nation, a newly lip enhanced Christie swears he still has a chance. WATCH:
Look, let’s be honest. If the gastric band didn’t work, there’s only so much Sununu and the cosmetics can do. The demons inside are beginning to manifest.
[Transcript] – MARGARET BRENNAN: We go now to the former Governor of New Jersey and 2024 Republican presidential candidate Chris Christie, good to have you back on the program. We know, sir, the RNC is supposed to announce tomorrow who will be on that December 6 debate stage. Has the RNC told you you’ve qualified to be there and if you haven’t, will you drop out?
2024 GOP PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE CHRIS CHRISTIE: I don’t think they’ve told anybody yet who all of us are going to be on the stage, but I’m confident, Margaret, that I will be there and that we have all the qualifications necessary to get there.
MARGARET BRENNAN: Because, you told CNN over Thanksgiving, you will stay in the race through the Convention, which would put you into the summer months. Does the field need to consolidate to beat Donald Trump, which you say is one of your prime motivations in running.
CHRISTIE: Look, this field has already consolidated more than any non-incumbent field in this century Margaret. Back this time, eight years ago, we had 13 candidates still in the race. At this time back, you know, in 2011, we had eight candidates in the race. At this time back in 2007, we had nine candidates in the race and so this field is consolidated significantly, and I suspect it will consolidate more after folks vote in Iowa and New Hampshire.
MARGARET BRENNAN: But, isn’t it a little bit different that you have the 45th President of the United states running, a known entity who has this automatic platform. It’s just a different model. It’s a different case.
CHRISTIE: Yeah, the other thing that makes it different, Margaret, is he’s got 91 counts of indictment against him. The day before Super Tuesday, he’s going to start a criminal trial, where his former chief of staff and one of the founders of the Freedom Caucus is going to testify that he committed crimes on his watch and was directed to commit crimes by Donald Trump. There’s a lot of things different about this and that’s why anybody tried to predict this is just shooting in the dark.
MARGARET BRENNAN: But why don’t- why hasn’t that turned off the GOP electorate? When you look at CBS polling, and others, he is leading, as you know. And then I mean, you’ve made clear when some of the other competitors are using really harsh rhetoric that you think that should disqualify them. Why hasn’t that extreme rhetoric turned the GOP off of these other candidates either?
CHRIS CHRISTIE: Well, look, I- first off, I don’t think you know exactly what’s going to happen at all until people vote. Look, if we listen to all the polling, Margaret, Hillary Clinton would be in her second term. So I don’t believe that polling is nearly as reliable as it used to be and I don’t believe that people tell the truth to pollsters. And so at the end of the day, everybody who’s trying to make these decisions now is just wrong. Let’s remember something, in this- in the Republican primary in ’07, do you know who was winning at this time in ’07? Mitt Romney. You know who was winning at this time in ’11? Newt Gingrich. And winning this time and ’15 was Ben Carson. I don’t remember any of those presidencies, Margaret. So you know, my view, we can’t worry about that kind of stuff. What we need to worry about is the direction this country is going in, and most people don’t agree with it. And if you don’t agree with the direction of the country, why would you vote for either Trump or Biden, who have put us in this direction?
MARGARET BRENNAN: Well, I have a lot more to talk to you about including on the issues and the things that we know from our own polling voters want to hear from candidates like you. So I’m going to ask you to stick with us because I do have to take a commercial break and we’ll have more questions on the other side of it.
[COMMERCIAL BREAK]
MARGARET BRENNAN: Welcome back to Face The Nation. We have more now from former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, candidate for the Republican nomination. Sir, I want to pick up where we left off. You know, we hear from political pundits all the time, oh, Americans just don’t care about national security when it comes to how they vote, but you are the only candidate who has gone to both Israel and Ukraine during this campaign, at least only one still standing. Why was it important for you to go?
CHRISTIE: So, I think if you want to be President of the United States, you have to see these things for yourself. You can’t count on reports from pundits or the press, or from other folks in public life. You’ve got to see it for yourself and I will tell you, when I went to Israel, Margaret, just a couple of weeks ago, the inhumanity I saw that Hamas rained upon the Jewish people in Israel, I went into one home of a 24-year-old couple recently married, both were murdered in their small three-room home. And there were 140 bullet holes in the walls to kill two people, Margaret, it’s not just the inhumanity that Hamas executes, it’s the joy they take in that inhumanity. And that’s why Israel has to do what they need to do to eliminate that military threat. And I think I would not have completely understood it, and couldn’t be an effective president if I didn’t see it for myself.
MARGARET BRENNAN: We’ll see if some of the other candidates go, one of the things that I also want to pick up on that we see voters responding to thus far is abortion. You know, it’s been a galvanizing issue in favor of Democrats. We’ve seen that a few times now. Are you concerned that in a head-to-head that that will help to buoy the President himself as he runs for reelection? And how does a Republican candidate like yourself, take the issue to the national stage when the message for decades has been it’s a state issue?
CHRISTIE: Look, Margaret, I’ve been consistent on this. I believe the conservative smart approach is to let the states make these decisions and that’s what I think they should do. And that’s why I said, I wouldn’t sign a six-week national abortion ban as Governor DeSantis and now just recently in Iowa, Governor Haley has said she would sign a six week ban. I don’t think you can say one thing in one place and something else in another, you need to be consistent. For 50 years, Republicans have argued that the Supreme Court took this decision away from the people. I think this belongs in the hands of the people of each individual state, we see a great democratic, small d, event going on right now across the country, in places like Michigan and Kansas, in Ohio, where people are voting, but let’s let the American people vote in their individual states, and decide what they want this policy to be.
MARGARET BRENNAN: So better for the party not to have a national policy, essentially, is what you’re saying.
CHRISTIE: I believe that’s- I believe that’s true. I believe that’s what the Constitution guides us to do. And that’s where we should stay and that’s where I’ve been. And I’m concerned, quite frankly, Margaret, that, you know, candidates in this race have been all over the block on this. And it’s not right, people deserve to have a straight answer from you and that’s my straight answer.
MARGARET BRENNAN: So, also, giving a fairly straight assessment is Liz Cheney, the former Congresswoman who just did an interview with my colleague, John Dickerson, and told him, ‘the United States is sleepwalking into a dictatorship.’ Bob Kagan, writer in the New York- in the Washington Post had an op ed saying, ‘after Super Tuesday in March, Donald Trump will be the Republican nominee and what happens there will be a swift and dramatic shift in the political power dynamic in his favor,’ saying all Republican critics, perhaps even yourself will fall silent out of self preservation. Is that how you see your party behaving after March?
CHRISTIE: Look, I can’t speak for everyone in my party, I can only speak for myself, Margaret. And anybody who knows me knows I will not be silent. I haven’t been silent since the day I got into this race. And in fact, unlike others, you know, Nikki Haley says he was the right president for the right time and that for some reason, you know, drama and chaos seem to follow him. The reason is that he acts like someone who doesn’t care about our democracy acts like someone who wants to be a dictator. He acts like someone who doesn’t care for the Constitution. In fact, he’s even said himself he’d be willing to suspend the Constitution if an election wasn’t going in his direction. Margaret, I was the only one on that stage going back to August, when I- when we were asked would you support someone who, you know, was convicted of a felony for President of the United States? Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, Vivek Ramaswamy, they all raised their hands. I did not and I think I’ve made it very very clear how I feel about this and if folks want to return to some decency and civility why would you ever vote for Donald Trump.
MARGARET BRENNAN: All right, Chris Christie, we’ll watch. Thanks for your time, we’ll be right back.

The Iowa caucuses are January 15, 2024, and represent the first opportunity for the GOP nomination contest to highlight candidate support.
Initially, I was going to wait to post this information later, mid-December. However, based on conversation earlier today, and my pledge to be publicly consistent and transparent, here’s an advance review of my expectations.
(#1) The full-throated DOJ, Jack Smith, Georgia and New York legal cases will likely trigger, like scud missiles in a blitz attack against Donald Trump, around 10 days prior to the Iowa caucuses. I’m not sure what the granular details of the Lawfare assault will look like; however, the timing will certainly be in/around these dates. The deepest part of the DC system that is in full alignment against Trump will be looking at this time frame as the first opportunity to hit Trump hard. The main battery comes after the 2024 RNC convention (Wisconsin, thanks Ronna).
(#2) Simultaneous to this, keep in mind the Sea Island group have spent hundreds of millions on an organizational process for Ron DeSantis, that is now contingent upon an Iowa victory. Just like the timing of the Mar-a-Lago raid, there will likely be some background coordination between the administrative state in DC and the organizational assemblies of DeSantis and Nikki Haley. Again, this is the first opportunity for the ‘stop Trump’ apparatus to create an inflection point. If President Trump crushes the Iowa caucuses, he will destroy the GOPe narrative.
(#3) This also creates the context timeline for us to consider an urgency by the deepest part of the DC control apparatus to influence public opinion. As a result, and given the recent remarks by platform operator Elon Musk, we may also see something happening with Twitter that blocks the ability of the assembled masses to communicate about whatever happens in #1. To a significant extent, MAGA has assembled discussion into a large Twitter stadium per se’. If the people controlling U.S. political outcomes want to hit hard, they will need a significant and timed disruption in the system of public communication. Scattering that stadium would be very effective.
The DHS artificial intelligence (AI) rollout into the ¹overall communication system, specifically social media, can also be considered as part of a disruption effort to influence the 2024 election. The national security labeling, definitions that establish censorship, removal and content control, will almost certainly flow through the pre-existing Public-Private partnerships. I would not be surprised to see the timing of that launch, in a full scale, somewhat in this same calendar period.
We all know the 2024 election is for all the marbles, so we just await the predictable incoming fire.
Smart wolverines will have preestablished iron dome defenses at the ready.
¹[GO DEEP] DHS’ AI task force is coordinating with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency on how the department can partner with critical infrastructure organizations “on safeguarding their uses of AI and strengthening their cybersecurity practices writ large to defend against evolving threats.”
