Japan and Denmark Collaborate on Floating Wind Turbines

Armstrong Economics Blog/Climate Re-Posted Oct 25, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen met with Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida to discuss offshore wind turbines. Denmark is a leader in wind turbine technology, while Japan has an advantage in shipbuilding technology. Japan has stated that it plans to increase its offshore wind power by 60% by 2030. Biden stated he wants to power 10 million homes in America with offshore wind power by 2030, which is our computer’s 2032. The UK, Denmark, and other nations aligned with the Great Reset are also targeting 2030 and the industry as a whole is growing rapidly.

This fishing industry has warned that this technology will prevent them from yielding the same amount of fish each year. This will impact our overall food supply. But we will have bug protein to supplement us. No one knows the repercussions of placing these massive devices in the ocean. The environmentalists don’t want the energy companies drilling for oil, but they are OK with drilling deep into sea beds.

One study believes that this technology could hurt surface predators such as plankton and disrupt all sea life. The powerful wind structures could change the ocean’s upwelling and impact water temperature, and therefore move nutrient-dense water that those at the bottom of the food chain depend on to survive. “The consequences of these changes in physical upwelling structure on the ecosystem are currently unknown and could potentially form future areas of investigation that could also include an assessment of fisheries and socio-economic effects,” a recent study published on Nature admitted.

Japan and Denmark have a lofty goal of reducing greenhouse has emissions by 2030 before going to net-zero by 2050. “What I’m hoping for is that the effort to increase offshore wind in Japan will produce a ketchup effect, where you try to get the ketchup out of the bottle but nothing much comes out until suddenly it does, after much effort,” a Danish ambassador to Japan told the Japan Times. The Danish Energy Agency discussed the 2020 New Climate Agreement in which there will be a “new era with energy islands.” “An energy island serves as a hub for electricity generation for the surrounding wind farms, by collecting and distributing the electricity between countries connected by an electricity grid,” the report explains. Denmark believes it could power portions of Europe.

The Japan-Denmark partnership could be promising as nations are pledging their support for Agenda 2030 and spending to implement these structures, regardless of their efficiency or actual impact on the ecosystem.

Solar forcing may have a 4 to 7 times greater effect on climate change than current climate models indicate

New Studies: Selection Bias In Datasets Advances A False Narrative The Sun Has No Climate Impact
By Kenneth Richard on 5. October 2023

Solar forcing may have a 4 to 7 times greater effect on climate change than current climate models indicate, which may mean modern climate change is predominantly natural rather than anthropogenic.
Anthropogenic global warming (AGW) attribution may be significantly dependent on the choice of dataset.
Advocates of AGW may only use Total Solar Irradiance (TSI) reconstructions that align with the perspective that the Sun has little to no impact on climate. Consequently, climate models may only use the PMOD’s model-based satellite data (which shows a declining trend since 1980) rather than the ACRIM (which shows an increasing TSI trend from the 1980s to 2000s).
The biased selection of long-term TSI reconstructions that show little to no variability are also preferred over TSI reconstructions with large variability. For example, the uncertainty in the estimate of the increase in TSI since the Maunder Minimum (1645-1715) ranges anywhere from 0.75 W/m² to 6.3 W/m² (Yeo et al., 2020). AGW advocates will, of course, select the lowest TSI change value (0.75 W/m²) and reject the higher values (6.3 W/m²), as then it is much easier to attribute modern warming to anthropogenic activity rather than to solar forcing.
The IPCC has selected one TSI dataset in the latest (2021) report for its global warming attribution assessments and climate models (GCMs). The dataset of course aligns only with the view modern warming is human-caused, and not natural, and thus it depicts a declining TSI trend since 1980 (PMOD) and almost no variability since the Maunder Minimum.
A new study (Connolly et al., 2023 with press release) identifies 27 other TSI estimates (purposely) ignored by the IPCC, several of which suggest modern warming may be up to 71-87% natural – especially if the temperature stations that do not show a strong artificial urban warming bias are used.
“Several of these different solar activity estimates suggest that most of the warming observed outside urban areas (in rural areas, oceans, and glaciers) could be explained in terms of the Sun.”

Another new study (Scafetta, 2023) suggests the Sun’s real climate impact may be 4-7 times larger than just from TSI (radiative) forcing alone, as the solar activity variations may mechanistically affect cloud albedo, which has been observed to drive 1-3 W/m² per decade changes in shortwave forcing (McLean, 2014).
“Thus, at least about 80% of the solar influence on the climate could be generated by processes other than direct TSI forcing.”
Climate models do not allow for any solar influence beyond the small, flat radiative forcing changes associated with TSI forcing, as this way it can be claimed that natural factors have little to no bearing on climate change.
Alternative solar activity records, as shown in TSI #2 Model below, have the Sun’s total impact directly linked to global temperature changes, including for recent decades.

The American Climate Corps

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Sep 27, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Joe Biden has created a workforce initiative called the American Climate Corps who will be responsible for carrying out the climate change agenda. The program promises “good-paying” jobs “aligned with high-quality employment opportunities after they complete their paid training or service program.” Over 20,000 youth will have an opportunity to apply within the first year. Some are comparing this to Franklin D. Roosevelt’s Civilian Conservation Corps, but it is nothing of the sort.

FDR created the Civilian Conservation Corps in 1933 amid the Great Depression. The program provided 3 million jobs to young men between 18 and 25 and permitted them to work in America’s public forests, lands, and parks. The men were guaranteed three meals per day with lodging accommodations. They earned only $30 per month, but sent $25 home to their families. Nature, not climate, was preserved and these men were bordering on indentured servitude for the US government but everyone won due to the nature of the times.

The American Climate Corps is intended to push the Green New Deal and push the youth into newer and largely unnecessary industries. “The American Climate Corps will focus on equity and environmental justice – prioritizing communities traditionally left behind, including energy communities that powered our nation for generations, leveraging the talents of all members of our society, and prioritizing projects that help meet the Administration’s Justice40 goal,” the White House stated on its website. “Equity” is a keyword for the Biden Administration who also wants to prioritize jobs for “traditionally left behind” persons. All of these individuals will receive a government paycheck and pensions at a massive cost to taxpayers. Some estimates believe the program will require $132.5 billion in spending, but that’s just the beginning as they will continue to grow this unnecessary government-funded workforce.

Most of the men in FDR’s Civilian Conservation Corps served in World War II after their service. They were not asking for handouts or burdening the taxpayer. Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Sen. Edward Markey (D-Mass.) were major supporters of this measure as they have been waiting for the Green New Deal to take place. Biden is attempting to lure the youth ahead of the election by promising “good-paying” entry-level jobs that align with the Build Back Better agenda.

Greta Poses for the Cameras Amid Arrest

Armstrong Economics Blog/Climate Re-Posted Sep 19, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Greta Thunberg is willing to defy the authorities to fight climate change, or at least that is what they want you to believe. They paint this young girl as a radical activist when she is planted counter-opposition. Greta was arrested for the second time last week for refusing to leave a sit-in at a protest terminal. The picture above shows the true nature of her arrest.

Greta was not violently carted off by the authorities and thrown into a cell. The police held her up for the cameras for the best propaganda pictures. Reuters is reporting that the young globalist could face up to six months behind bars – yeah, right! “It is absurd that those who act in line with science should pay the price for it,” Thunderg stated after her first arrest. She pleaded “not guilty” in June, citing that she was blocking the oil trucks from committing a climate catastrophe. “I believe that we are in an emergency that threatens life, health, and property. Countless people and communities are at risk both in the short term and in the long term,” Thunberg said in court.

Her next trial is on September 27, and no doubt she will be telling the court that she was saving the world. Simply look at the footage Reuters published. It shows a small girl being dragged by the police, but in truth, the police knew that her arrest was a marketing tool for the climate change agenda. Even a simple Google search on the event is littered with headlines such as “Greta Thunberg forcibly removed from climate protest after fine” or “Greta Thunberg charged with disobeying police order at climate protest.”

Greta Thunberg is not an activist. She was a child who fell in with the wrong crowd at Greenpeace who handed her over to the World Economic Forum to be used for marketing purposes only. Greta Thunberg managed to accumulate a net worth of $18 million at 20 years old through brand deals, speaking engagements, and sponsorships. These public spectacles are merely part of her job as a propaganda puppet.

African Leaders Aim to Implement Global Carbon Tax

Armstrong Economics Blog/Climate Re-Posted Sep 8, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

The Africa Climate Summit hosted in Kenya focused on how the world can manipulate the weather through taxation. In no way due to geography or distance to the equator, African leaders honed in on how Africa faces numerous climate-related challenges such as desertification, drought, rising temperatures, and cyclones. “To achieve the necessary emissions reduction targets and ensure adequate funding for climate action, a comprehensive global funding mechanism is required,” the summit leaders declared.

The Nairobi Declaration is calling upon the globalists to “rally behind the proposal for a global carbon taxation regime including a carbon tax on fossil fuel trade, maritime transport and aviation, that may also be augmented by a global financial transaction tax.” They believe that these global taxes on carbon should be held in one pooled fund and then allocated to the nations committed to green innovations and less developed countries. So, an independent, unelected body will be capable of distributing and collecting these funds fairly, in a manner that the entire world can agree upon. That did not work too well for Europe with the unelected Troika.

Perhaps we could have prevented the last Ice Age if humans threw money at the sky and paid taxes. The hunters and gatherers should have been looking for meat alternatives. These people will never admit that climate change is a naturally, cyclically occurring phenomenon. The only agreement they will see is a “NO” from the nations not abiding by the rules for the Great Reset.

Africa has another motive in mind – natural resources. “Africa is ready to contribute to global decarbonization efforts by leveraging its abundant resources, including renewable energy, critical minerals, agricultural potential, and natural capital,” their website states. Ah yes, such as the cobalt we use for electric vehicles that are mined by child slaves in the Congo. Millions of people on the continent lack basic electricity and started going green before it was the trend.

A global tax would be detrimental to international relations and trade. The unelected group installed to manage the fund will wield too much power and history has taught us that the power-hungry are never appeased. The main issue here is that taxing carbon emissions simply cannot change nature. We face far too many taxes, and developed nations should not be expected to subsidize others. Since it would be impossible for every country to agree on a global tax, the burden would fall upon those already aiming to eliminate carbon emissions by 2050, at the latest, by sacrificing the financial stability of their people.

London’s DAILY Driving Tax

Armstrong Economics Blog/Climate Re-Posted Sep 7, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

The World Economic Forum (WEF) has a firm grip on London. The WEF has warned us that they plan to ban private car ownership to save the world. All it takes is the stroke of a pen for these asinine ideas to become law. London’s Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) law is not going as planned as the people are fighting back.

The new law charges drivers in high-traffic areas a £15 tax PER DAY to use their vehicle. It does not matter if you drive a Hummer or a Tesla; the government needs your money to save the environment. If you drive outside of a congested area, you will be subject to a £12.50 daily fine. People are already grappling with the cost of living crisis, but the government simply does not care. Londoners could pay up to £300 simply to drive to work or school and even those who live in the designated ULEZ zone cannot bypass the tax.

The government has installed CCTV cameras around the city to enforce the tax. A group called the Blade Runners has emerged and they are working to protect the public by removing these dystopian cameras. “There are 24 hours in a day. We either fight it or accept it. We do whatever we can,” said the activist when speaking to the Daily Mail. “What we will achieve by our actions is the removal of the infrastructure and waking up the sleeping masses to what is really going on.”

People are celebrating this group that has effectively dismantled over a quarter of CCTV cameras. The police are launching Operation Eremon as a counterattack but have not stated the exact penalties. Tory MP Iain Duncan Smith celebrates those who “cement up the cameras or put plastic bags over them.” Nigel Farage posted on X, “When laws become enemies of men, men become enemies of laws. I have been firmly told that in our area no ULEZ camera will stay up for very long.” The people are powerful when they come together – resistance is not futile.

“One Water” Approach Led to Deaths on Maui

Armstrong Economics Blog/Climate Re-Posted Aug 18, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Climate change zealots are destroying our society. I mentioned how Maui suffered the repercussions of Biden’s America-Last policies after they received mere breadcrumbs compared to a much larger payment to Ukraine that same week. Hawaii Commission on Water Resource Management (CWRM) deputy director M. Kaleo Manuel is responsible for multiple deaths amid the Maui fires. You see, Manuel believes in a “One Water” approach where water is sacred and should be used sparingly, including in the case of a massive fire.

Manuel’s page on the Obama Foundation’s website notes: “Kaleo is the Deputy Director of the State of Hawaiʻi Commission on Water Resource Management. He believes that ancient wisdom and traditional ecological knowledge of native peoples will help save the Earth. Kaleo is passionate about elevating native and indigenous ways of knowing in all spheres of discourse and dialogue.”

Firefighters in Lahaina, Hawaii, stated that the fire hydrants were basically empty on the day the fire erupted. “Fighting fire for their lives, getting overrun, trying to have a captain they are trying to get out to a burn center, hydrants aren’t working, that’s no different from cops being in a gunfight without bullets,” Frank Lima, secretary-treasurer of the International Association of Fire Fighters, described.

Kaleo Manuel did not immediately respond to the request to refill the reservoirs. Instead, he told the firefighters on the frontlines to discuss the matter with a local farmer to see how diverting the supply would impact him. People were burning alive and Manuel thought perhaps it was not fair to use the water so recklessly. “We can share it [water], but it requires true conversations about equity,” Manuel said in a poorly aged clip.

The World Economic Forum released an article in March: “Our relationship with water is political, says this climate scientist.” The “expert” claims that human’s relationship with water changed a century ago as “the promise of the modernist world was to separate us, to emancipate us from nature.” Equity is the keyword used again here. Everyone should have equal access to water. In global elite lingo, that means that we, the people, the Great Unwashed plebians, cannot manage our water, and it must be allocated to us in rations.

There is actually a dystopian Korean movie on Netflix regarding this matter where everyone has a water allotment provided to them by the government based on their social credit score. Sadly all these dystopian films seem to foreshadow of the future. The climate zealots will cheer EQUITY and willingly give all power to the government so they can distribute the basics of what we need to survive. Lives could have been saved in Hawaii if the government had allowed the fire department access to WATER.
