Canada to be Short 3.45 Million Homes by 2030

The demand for housing in Canada drastically outweighs the supply. The Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation (CMHC) has confirmed that fewer new builds are expected for 2024. In fact, the agency anticipates that Canada will be short by 3.45 million homes by 2030 – right on time. Better yet, the gap is certain to widen if/when Canada expands its immigration policies.

The CMHC expected Canada to build 18.58 million new dwellings by 2030 but recently revised that estimate down to 18.19 million. Ontario has the largest current supply gap with a deficit of 1.46 million homes. Nova Scotia, Quebec, B.C., and Alberta experienced a notable decrease in supply compared to last year’s projections. Despite Canadians having nowhere to call home, Trudeau plans to open the border to 500,000 immigrants by 2025.

“This report again highlights the crucial role of increasing housing supply if the goal is to make housing affordable for everyone in Canada. It also demonstrates the importance of examining both economic and demographic variables given the recent changes that have been experienced in both,” Aled ab Iorwerth, deputy chief economist at CMHC, said in the report. The CMHC also admitted that the supply gap will widen if immigration persists.

Therefore, expect Trudeau to extend his current immigration policies. This is precisely what is needed for the government to take over and create 15-minute cities to solve the crisis they created. It is all spelled out on the United Nations websiteAs you can see in the video below, people want to do the right thing by housing the homeless, but that is not financially possible and avoids the core issue. When there are encampments throughout the nation, the people will be less reluctant to deny government assistance. Government assistance equates to using tax dollars to subsidize housing for others, which will make it increasingly hard for those barely getting by. In comes 15-minute cities with free transportation and that affordable housing everyone has wished to see, yet it will only be affordable because you will be renting from the elite indefinitely. You will own NOTHING.

Rota Resigns – Scapegoat for Trudeau

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Sep 28, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Speaker for the House of Commons Anthony Rota has resigned after embarrassing Justin Trudeau and Canada as a whole. Rota invited Yaroslav Hunka, former 14th Waffen Grenadier Division of the SS, to speak to the Canadian Parliament to impress Zelensky. The video of Zelensky and Trudeau giving this former Ukrainian Nazi a standing ovation is circulating the internet.

Trudeau had the opportunity to vet this individual before he arrived in Parliament. He is equally as responsible as Rota, if not more so, since he is the man in charge. Justin Trudeau has refused to recognize the role he played in this debacle. However, he did note that this was an embarrassment for all of Canada, especially amid the Jewish holidays.

In fact, according to Trudeau, Russian aggression and propaganda led him to salute a Nazi on the world stage. Russia has called the claims “outrageous” and “sloppy.” “Such sloppiness of memory is outrageous. Many Western countries, including Canada, have raised a young generation that does not know who fought whom or what happened during the Second World War. And they know nothing about the threat of fascism,” a Kremlin spokesperson said. He is indeed correct as history is continually rewritten.

Blaming Russia was not enough for Trudeau. Anthony Rota was forced to leave his position in shame. “It’s with a heavy heart that I rise to inform members of my resignation as Speaker for the House of Commons,” Rota read aloud to his peers. “I reiterate my profound regret for my error in recognizing an individual in the House during the joint address to Parliament of President Zelensky,” he continued, noting, “that public recognition has caused pain to individuals and communities including the Jewish community in Canada and around the world, in addition to survivors of Nazi atrocities in Poland, among other nations.”

Obviously, Zelensky did not apologize or discuss the connection between the Nazi Party and current branches of Ukraine’s military. Justin Trudeau humiliated himself here. Canadians see that he threw Rota under the bus as a scapegoat for the whole incident, and no one respects a person incapable of accepting blame. The video will live on in the archives of the internet and everyone will remember the day Trudeau and Zelensky saluted and cheered a Nazi.

Canada’s Speaker of House Resigns After Leading Chamber Celebration for Nazi War Criminal with Trudeau and Zelenskyy

As hard as it might be to believe, Canada gave 98-year-old Nazi war criminal, Yaroslav Hunka, a standing ovation in the House of Commons.  Speaker Anthony Rota drew attention to Hunka and introduced him as a war hero who fought for the First Ukrainian Division.  However, the First Ukrainian Division also was known as the Waffen-SS Galicia Division, or the SS 14th Waffen Division, a Ukrainian unit of Nazis under the command of German Nazis.

Earlier today, as a result of the world discovering that Canada was harboring Nazi fugitive Yaroslav Hunka, the Polish government requested his return to Europe to stand trial for war crimes.  The entire episode has become a major political embarrassment for Canada.  Moments after Poland sent their letter to Canada, the Speaker of the House of Commons resigned.  WATCH:

From fighting Nazis, to giving them a standing ovation in the Canadian House of Commons.  Quite an arc of history here; where arc’s might be shaped like pretzels.
