Carter Page Discusses His CIA and FBI Role With Maria Bartiromo….

Carter Page appeared on Fox News today with Maria Bartiromo to discuss his work as an informant for the FBI in the Evgeny Buryakov case.  The case involved Buryakov in New York and two other SVR agents, Igor Sporyshev and Victor Podobnyy. [See Here]

.

It never made sense that U.S. Person Carter Page was an FBI witness from 2013 through to March/May 2016 and yet in October 2016, to achieve a FISA warrant, the FBI called him an agent of a foreign government.  [FISA APPLICATION]

It never made sense until we realized the FBI didn’t use Carter Page to gain a FISA warrant (that was an outcropping); the FBI used Carter Page to get the Steele Dossier into official investigative status.  What they needed was the Dossier, Page was irrelevant other than he checked all the boxes needed to fabricate the illusion of “an agent of a foreign power.”

On August 15th, 2016, Lisa Page and Peter Strzok have a meeting with Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe.  At the conclusion of that meeting, Peter Strzok sends a text message to Ms. Page:

“I want to believe the path you threw out for consideration in Andy’s office -that there’s no way he gets elected- but I’m afraid we can’t take that risk.  It’s like an insurance policy in the unlikely event you die before you’re 40.”

Here’s where Carter Page is about to come in…

Carter Page was not accused of being an agent of a foreign government to get a FISA warrant; that was a secondary -albeit necessary- outcome. Carter Page was accused of being an agent of a foreign government to get the Steele Dossier into the investigation.

The “small group” of corrupt DOJ and FBI officials; those same officials that became the “Mueller Team”; always had a plan to generate a special counsel investigation that they would carry out against the potential president-elect Trump.  This investigation was their insurance policy…. what would be ‘investigated’ would be the Fusion/Ohr/Steele dossier.

Without Carter Page, the Steele Dossier is just an assembly of political opposition research.  However, with Carter Page painted as an “agent of a foreign government” the Steele Dossier moves from opposition research into evidence that needs to be investigated.

The dossier is what the corrupt DOJ and FBI team needed.  Carter Page was a way to put that dossier into evidence that needed to be investigated.  That’s why the dossier is the primary evidence the FBI used to get the FISA Title-1 warrant.

Once they moved the dossier into official investigative status, it could then be passed off to Robert Mueller’s special counsel team for investigation.  That Mueller team was the same team who worked to exploit the original creation of the dossier.  It’s all the same people.

The DOJ (Bruce Ohr), Fusion GPS (Simpson and Nellie Ohr) and FBI (Pientka and Strzok) steered Christopher Steele to their allies in the State Dept.  This is a plausible deniability maneuver.  After the State Dept. also had the dossier, the FBI used the State Dept report of Steele’s information as the foundation for the claim that Carter Page was “an agent of a foreign power.”

All of this was done just to attach the dossier to a target.  The target just needed to fit a profile with enough Russian contacts so the dossier could stick.  That target was Carter Page.  The FBI and DOJ didn’t care about Carter Page, what they wanted was the dossier.

As soon as they got the Special Counsel appointed, the dossier became the material to start the investigation of Trump… and all the names in the dossier (Manafort, Flynn etc).

Because they always knew there was no material substance to the dossier, the goal of the investigation was to get President Trump to obstruct it/them.   All of the provocative action by the special counsel team was intended to provoke President Trump into taking action that could be defined as obstruction.

  1. Fusion GPS and Nellie Ohr gave underlying material to Chris Steele.
  2. Chris Steele created the dossier and laundered the Fusion material into the FBI through Bruce Ohr.
  3. The FBI team then used the dossier to identify a target, Carter Page.
  4. Carter Page was used to put the dossier into official investigative status, via the FISA application.
  5. As valid investigative evidence, the dossier was then passed to Robert Mueller.
  6. Robert Mueller then used the dossier investigation to target Trump people.
  7. The Trump people were targeted in such a hostile manner to bait President Trump into obstructing the investigation.
  8. The obstruction would then be used by political allies to remove President Trump.

This was the end goal of the “insurance policy”.

The insurance policy needed the Steele Dossier.

Carter Page was the means to an end; he was not the end itself.

DOE Issues Statement on Energy Star Thermostat Report….

The needle on the CTH winnamometer momentarily pegs ‘too much‘…

[Backstory Here] After quite widespread discussion on the Energy Star Thermostat Report, and the ridiculous recommendations to set thermostat to 82° when sleeping, the U.S. Department of Energy (Secretary Rick Perry) issued the following statement:

…”It is the position of DOE that Americans should set their thermostats to whatever temperature they choose.”..  (link)

White House Press Pool Doesn’t Like Chopper Pressers – ‘He’s Melting Us, Halp’…

We are approaching the never-before-reached strata of “too much winning”.

Today President Trump held the third press conference over thirty minutes in the past four days.  Sunday a chopper presser on the tarmac in New Jersey (36 minutes).  Tuesday a presser in the Oval Office (32 minutes).  Today a South Lawn chopper presser (35 minutes).  No questions filtered; direct responses from President Trump; all questions answered…. and the media can’t take it.

(Jenn Jacobs Tweet Link)

I’m absolutely not snarking at Jenn Jacobs, she’s actually one of the few that keeps her reporting generally between the lines… But the overall tone of press pool response to this level of POTUS availability is hilarious.  ‘Halp, he’s melting us‘.

TheLastRefuge@TheLastRefuge2

😂 Media peeps complaining: ‘he talks to long’,… ‘he answers too many questions’… ‘it’s hot here’…. ‘he’s melting us’… Halp!

President Trump Explains The Big Picture: “The fact is, somebody had to take China on”…

During an oval office press conference today, President Trump took several questions about China and the U.S. trade confrontation.  After receiving the third question, on the same subject, President Trump paused and then went deep into the heart of the issue.

The question was: ” Mr. President, you keep insisting that your trade war with China — the trade war with China is not affecting the U.S. economy. But a lot of economists disagree with that. And they worry that if China goes into a recession, they’ll pull us down with it.”

Here is President Trump’s response:

.

[Transcript] … PRESIDENT TRUMP: Well — well, okay. Let me — let me tell you something. Number one, we’re doing very well as an economy. But somebody had to take China on. You know, I read and I see so much and I read so much, and I’ll see these economists saying, “Oh, give up. Give up on China. Give up.”

China has been ripping this country off for 25 years — for longer than that. And it’s about time, whether it’s good for our country or bad for our country short term. Long term, it’s imperative that somebody does this because our country cannot continue to pay China $500 billion a year because stupid people are running it.

So I don’t mind this question.

Whether it’s good or bad, short term, is irrelevant.

We have to solve the problem with China because they’re taking out $500 billion a year-plus. And that doesn’t include intellectual property theft and other things. And also, national security.

So, I am doing this whether it’s good or bad for your — your statement about, “Oh, will we fall into a recession for two months?” Okay? The fact is, somebody had to take China on.

My life would be a lot easier if I didn’t take China on. But I like doing it because I have to do it. And we’re getting great results.

China has had the worst year they’ve had in 27 years. And a lot of people are saying the worst year they’ve had in 54 years. Okay? And frankly, I don’t want that to happen, but it does put us in a good negotiating position, doesn’t it? And China wants to make a deal, and that’s good. But they have to make a deal that’s fair to us. It can’t be a deal that’s not fair to us.

And you should be happy that I’m fighting this and I’m fighting this battle, because somebody had to do it. We couldn’t let this go — I don’t even think it’s sustainable to let go on what was happening.

They were stealing all of our intellectual property ideas. The theft was incredible. They call it “intellectual property theft.” And they value it at $300 billion a year. Who knows how they value it? I know how to value dollars; I don’t know how to value intellectual property theft. But they have experts that say it’s at least $300 billion a year, where they steal it.

Somebody had to do something with China.

Obama should have done it.

Bush should have done it.

Clinton should have done it.

They all should have done it. Nobody did it; I’m doing it.

So what do you say? “Oh, my trade deals are causing them.” My trade deals aren’t causing a problem. This is something that had to be done. The only difference is I’m doing it.

I could be sitting here right now with a stock market that would be up 10,000 points higher if I didn’t want to do it. But I think we have no choice but to do it. And a lot of people that really know, people that love our country, they’re saying, “Thank you very much for taking it on.” And we’re winning because they’re having the worst year they’ve had in decades. And it’s only going to get worse.

China has lost 2 million jobs in the last month and a half because they’re moving — the people, the companies are moving to non-tariffed countries. They’ve lost over 2 million jobs in a very short period of time. They’re going to lose a lot more jobs. And if I didn’t help certain companies — there are American companies like Apple — for a very short period of time, I may help them, only until they do what they have to do, which is probably move from China. Because this would be a very short term. If I didn’t help them, they would — I mean, they would be — they would have a big problem.

Here’s the thing: Somebody had to take on what China was doing to the United States economically. We’re winning big. I took it on. And it should have been done by previous Presidents, but I took it on. And I’m happy to do it because it had to be done. And the smart people say, “Thank you very much.” And the dumb people have no idea. And then you have the political people, and they go with the wind.

But they all know — even Senator Schumer said, “Wow, Trump is doing a great job with China.” I couldn’t believe that. But Schumer thinks I’m doing the right thing. And he’s doing the right thing by saying it because he knows that China was a big economic threat. And they were taking all of that money that they were making from us, and they were building planes and ships and lots of other things. And we can’t let that happen.

New Report Details SpaceX’s Plans To Launch Starship From Florida

Published on Aug 5, 2019

While it’s still a couple of years out at least, SpaceX has been doing the important paperwork detailing their plans to launch Starship and Super Heavy from Launch Complex 39A at the Kennedy Space Center. A great deal of new info has come to light in the Environmental impact report including information on the sound levels as a result of the engines and the sonic booms from reentry. Also some detailed modelling on the chemical composition that results from the Raptor engines, gives us some more info on what to expect from the final Raptors. The report is available here: https://netspublic.grc.nasa.gov/main/…

Is California the Worst Economic Nightmare in the USA?

QUESTION: Marty,

Whenever you refer to California Dreaming, my blog post from a few years back, I cannot help but smile. Thank you for your chart on the California economy. Does this represent most states? Does this represent the state of the U.S. economy? What states are actually growing?

Yes, I agree with you that the government has become very corrupt, but no really cares about the Clintons anymore because they have no real impact on the average person’s life. The real issue, I believe is the war that is going on regarding freedom of access to making informed decisions on more important matters such as parenting and vaccines. Your blog at least has not been wiped off of Google and Facebook like Natural News, Mercola, and a host of other sites that call into question the efficacy and safety of vaccines. Google, Amazon, Facebook, etc have made it very difficult to find dissenting views on vaccines due to a letter from a Congressman. You should research this issue.

I think this is the real undercurrent going on right now, at least from my perspective. Plus the civil asset forfeiture, and the jailing of the journalists.

Thank you! I still think you are awesome!! I miss chatting with you!

S

ANSWER: California is actually the worst. Illinois is in trouble, but that is because their constitution forbids renegotiating state employee pensions. In the case of California, it is really just a Socialist’s dream of directing pensions to invest green. Losing money is just the tip of the iceberg.

U.S. Delays and Modifies “Next Step” Tariffs on Chinese Products…

Early on Tuesday United States Trade Representative Robert Lighthizer announced the modification of “next step” tariffs on Chinese products.  [See Here] “Products in this group include, for example, cell phones, laptop computers, video game consoles, certain toys, computer monitors, and certain items of footwear and clothing.”

President Trump responded to the delay/modification when questioned in New Jersey.  President Trump noted a “very productive” phone call between Lighthizer and Vice-Premier Liu He of China:

[Transcript Segment] – […] Q Why did you make the decision on the tariffs, to delay the implementation of the tariffs?

THE PRESIDENT: Only to help, I think, a lot of different groups of people. And we had a very good talk yesterday with China — a very, very productive call. I think they want to do something. I think they’d like to do something dramatic. I was not sure whether or not they wanted to wait until a Democrat has a chance to get in. Hopefully that’s not going to happen because the economy would go to hell in a handbasket very fast.

But they really would like to make a deal. The call itself was very productive. I’m not sure if it was the tariffs or the call, but the call was very productive. Again, they’ve said this many times; they’ve said they’re going to buy farm products. So far, they’ve disappointed me with the truth. They haven’t been truthful, or, let’s say, they’ve certainly delayed the decision. But it’s their intention to buy a lot of farm product.

And we did — we had a very good call with China. I mean, they would really like to do — as you know, they have a problem in Hong Kong, but they would like very much to do something.

Q Would you consider moving the tariffs, even? Delaying them even further, past December 15?

THE PRESIDENT: No, we’re doing this for Christmas season, just in case some of the tariffs would have an impact on U.S. customers, which, so far, they’ve had virtually none. The only impact has been that we’ve collected almost $60 billion from China — compliments of China. But just in case they might have an impact on people, what we’ve done is we’ve delayed it so that they won’t be relevant for the Christmas shopping season.

Q Mr. President, are you more optimistic now that there’s a chance of getting a deal between China on trade?

THE PRESIDENT: Well, I’ve always been optimistic. My only question is whether or not they were willing to wait and take the chance on winning the election and deal with somebody who’s weak and ineffective and doesn’t know what he’s doing or she’s doing, like they’ve had in the past.

This should have been done 25 years ago. It should have been done 10 years ago or 5 years ago. This should have been done a long time ago. This should have been done by Biden and Obama. China is taking out $500 billion a year, and much more than that, if you include the theft of intellectual property. What I’m doing now should have been done many years ago.  (link)

At the 30,000 ft level, the decision to postpone and modify looks political from the perspective of timing.  Additionally the use of the term “next step tariffs” by USTR Lighthizer implies a sense of inevitability to a pre-determined process of increasing tariffs.

It would appear that President Trump has made a move based on a statement by Liu He about China making good on a prior promise to purchase significant agricultural products.  Whether or not Vice-Premier Liu He is being misled (or used) by Beijing’s strong-arm and duplicitous Commerce Minister Zhong Shan is yet to be determined.

Minister Zhong, who previously worked under Xi when the president was at the helm of Zhejiang province, is viewed as a hardliner who has strictly toed the party line.  Zhong was moved into primary trade negotiation position when China reengaged with the U.S. team.

My hunch is President Trump has delayed the Sept. 1st tariffs to see if Liu He will deliver on the agriculture promise, or if Zhon Shan is manipulating a lie to gain breathing room. While the latter seems more likely; it would make sense for President Trump to see of a multi-billion Ag purchase will take place.  The benefit to the U.S. would mean a pending  farm subsidy wouldn’t be needed; and based on the timing of the phone contact and message from China, this scenario appears to be the most likely background.

In essence President Trump appears to be looking to save U.S. money by avoiding a subsidy; and simultaneously benefit from the optic of the upcoming trade discussions with China in Washington DC in early September.

Pushing the full tariff decision to December 15th, puts a window of activity between now and the “next step” toward China.

Within that window President Trump will be traveling to Biarritz, France, (August 24th through 26th) for the G7 [U.S., U.K, Germany, France, Italy, Japan and Canada +EU weasels)] where it is now anticipated an interim U.S-U.K trade deal will be announced.  [Maybe some unspoken five-eyes ‘spygate’ leverage for wheel grease]

Also within that window, the IG report on FISA abuse and ‘spygate’ (Sept?).

Also within that window, Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison will be coming to the White House for an official state visit, and state dinner, in September.  A key strategic trade ally, geopolitical foil against China, and ASEAN member. [Maybe more five-eyes ‘spygate’ wheel-greasing leverage]

Also within that window the Canadian election will take place on October 21st; which, depending on outcome, could radically change the time-frame for the USMCA ratification.

It still seems more likely than not that President Trump (Team USA) and Shinzo Abe (Team Japan) have hammered out the U.S-Japan trade agreement.

Most forget, but team USA and team Japan met for weeks of negotiations before Trump’s state visit to Japan, and the G20 in Osaka soon thereafter.

Everyone suspected a trade announcement, but curiously there was no mention.  Instead, everyone immediately became distracted by President Trump’s visit to the DPRK and meeting with Kim Jong-un at the DMZ.

I suspect there was a purposeful intent (dual purpose) in the DPRK distraction; and I suspect the U.S-Japan trade announcement is being purposefully delayed based on the ongoing issues with China and the tentacles that extend globally and financially.

If my suspicions are accurate, President Trump is positioning the U.K. trade deal to be the ultimate leverage to force the EU into negotiations…. socialism is hit hard.  Then, if/when the Canadian election concludes, the USMCA ratification will be a primary focus…. Then comes an announcement of the U.S. and Japan deal…. then comes the hammer on China (and/or possibly now including Hong Kong)…. and communism is hit hard.

With the foundation of the USMCA, UK and Japan providing the overwhelming financial momentum, both parasitic wealth-sucking book-ends: China and the EU, are hit in a sequence of trade actions (tariffs) that could radically alter the global supply chain.

Just a hunch.

It all seems rather Trumpian.

No-one else could ever possibly pull this off.

No-one else would even try.

On Claiming Belief In God: Discussion with Dennis Prager

Published on Jun 9, 2019

I talked with Dennis Prager at the Prager Summit in May in Santa Barbara. It’s really a discussion about two previous talks, for a collection of three. I would recommend watching them in the following order: First, watch Who Dares Say He Believes in God? (https://youtu.be/MnUfXYGtT5Q). That lecture was part of my 12 Rules for Life tour, and took place in Sydney, Australia, Feb 26, 2019. Second, watch the lecture I gave just before this discussion at the Prager summit: On Claiming Belief in God: Commentary (https://youtu.be/vwKCK5EhibM),. Then watch this discussion. The three presentations will make the most sense in that order, which is why I placed them in the same playlist, On (My) Belief in God: http://bit.ly/2I6g0hq This discussion is also available at the PragerU YouTube Video Channel at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L47oJ…. Thanks to Prager U for the invitation and opportunity.
