Senator Richard Burr has suspended his role as chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence (SSCI) while he participates in a federal investigation into insider trading with his stock portfolio.
Last night a search warrant was delivered to Senator Burr’s lawyers and federal investigators scheduled a convenient time to pick up Mr. Burr’s cellular telephone from his Washington DC residence. It appears the cell phone is part of the ongoing review of Senator Burr’s stock trades.
With the investigation progressing, Mr. Burr said Thursday that he wanted to limit distraction to the Senate and informed Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell that he would temporarily step aside as chairman of the SSCI while the review was ongoing. Senator Burr will remain a member of the committee and an interim chair will be selected.
Chopper pressers are the best pressers. Earlier today President Trump paused to talk to the press pool as he departed for a visit to Allentown, Pennsylvania. In addition to taking questions from the media, Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany delivered remarks.

MS. MCENANY: Hi, there. I just wanted to outline our pandemic preparedness. The Obama-Biden plan that has been referenced was insufficient; it wasn’t going to work. So what our administration did, under the leadership of President Trump, is do an entire 2018 Pandemic Preparedness Report.
Beyond that, we did a whole exercise on pandemic preparedness in August of last year and had an entire after-action report put together. In other words, the Obama-Biden paper packet was superseded by a President Trump-style Pandemic Preparedness Response plan.
THE PRESIDENT: Which was much better, which was much more complete, and which was a lot tougher. We were — we were given very little when we came into this administration. And they’ve done a fantastic job. And I think we’re going to have a vaccine by the end of the year, and I think distribution will take place almost simultaneously because we’ve geared up the military. And you’ll see that tomorrow.

SECRETARY AZAR: Yeah. So, you know, Dr. Bright is up there testifying today. Everything he’s complaining about was achieved. Everything he talked about was done. He talked about — he says he talked about the need for respirators. We worked to — we procured respirators, under the President’s direction. He said we needed a Manhattan Project for vaccines; this President initiates a vaccine Manhattan Project, diagnostic Manhattan Project, therapeutic Manhattan Project.
Oh, and by the way, whose job was it to actually lead the development of vaccines? Dr. Bright. So while we’re launching Operation Warp Speed, he’s not showing up for work to be part of that.
So this is like somebody who was in a choir and is now trying to say he was a soloist back then. What he was saying is what every single member of this administration and the President was saying: “We need more personal protective equipment. We need more ventilators. We need therapeutics. We need vaccines.” Every single thing this President was on, this President achieved. And Dr. Bright was part of a team and was simply saying what everybody else at the White House and at HHS was saying. Not one bit of difference.
And on hydroxychloroquine, Dr. Bright literally signed the application for an FDA authorization of it. Literally, he’s the sponsor of it. So, this just — his allegations do not hold water. They do not hold water.
THE PRESIDENT: So we have had some great response, in terms of doctors writing letters and people calling on the hydroxychloroquine. And this guy is fighting it. There’s no reason to fight it. There’s no reason. But more importantly than that, we’ve had tremendous response to the hydroxy. We’ve had the great response to zinc, along with it, and the Z-Pak. So a lot of people have sworn by it. And we’ll see.
But I’ll tell you what: To me — I watched this guy for a little while this morning — to me, he’s nothing more than a really disgruntled, unhappy person. And I’m not just talking about Alex, because Alex said it strongly, but there are a lot of people that do not like the job he did. I don’t know him. I never met him. I don’t want to meet him. But I watched him, and he looks like an angry, disgruntled employee, who, frankly, according to some people, didn’t do a very good job.

Q The WTO chief is stepping down a year early. What do you think that means for —
THE PRESIDENT: I’m okay with it. I’m okay with it. The WT- — if you look at the World Trade, not only the World Health — and we’ll be making an announcement on the World Health Organization shortly, soon. Probably next week sometime.
But the World Trade Organization is horrible. We’ve been treated very badly. I’ve been saying it for a long time. And we act on it. When I talk, we act on it. The World Trade, they treat China as a developing nation. Therefore, China gets a lot of the benefits that the U.S. doesn’t get. They have other countries that are developing nations. And the people sitting in the Oval Office should never have let that happen.

Q Mr. President, do you think the CDC is over-counting death — death counts?
THE PRESIDENT: I don’t know how they’re counting. I never discussed it with them. Death is death. We don’t want people dying in this country. And we’ve done a great job. We’ve done a great job.
I’ll tell you what: What we’ve done on ventilators and what we’ve done on testing — except the press doesn’t write it that way because you have all this fake news. But what we’ve done on testing, we’ve now tested more than the entire world put together. The entire world put together, we have many more tests than they do and better tests. And the reason we have more cases is because we have more testing.
We’ve done a great job, and the people — the men and women that have done this great job should be acknowledged by the press.

President Trump sits down for a lengthy hour-long interview with Fox Business’ Maria Bartiromo. The President discusses coronavirus, the economy, China, trade, Flynn, the election, and much more. 55 minute interview taped yesterday, aired today.
Bill Gates was a ruthless businessman and used any means legal or not to achieve his goal. Ho he accomplished that is not the story here but the bottom line was after he retired he created a 501(c)(3) Foundation, The Bill & Melisa Gates Foundation twenty years ago in 2000. The stated goal was the created an illusion that this foundation was created to help the poor and destitute of the world, nothing could be further from the truth. The foundation started off with $46.8 billion and Gates started giving large grants to implement his stated goals.
No one knows exactly how much money Gates gave away but it was, without doubt, tens of billions of dollars over the past 20 years. Gates made sure the world knew what he was doing through his extensive publicity efforts. However strangely the latest financial records of the foundation indicates that it’s assets are probably worth over $100 billion today. So it would seem that Gates was doing more than giving away grant money. So what was his real purpose of this foundation.
Initially his focus seemed to be on Climate change And how it was imperative that we stop using carbon based fuels that were creating Carbon Dioxide (CO2) and that was casuing the temperature of the planet to increase and that that increasing temperature would in the near future destroy civilization itself. Gates was not lone in this believe as Al Gore the former President Clinton VP was also on board with this idea. I became aware of this is a famous TED talk where Gates indicated that that to get to zero emissions of Carbon Dioxide production my humans would have to go to zero. Later it became obvious that this college drop out was not educated as he was being influence by those that followed the dis bunked theory of Tomas Malthus found in his 1798 book An Essay on the Principle of Population, Which basically stated the the growth of the population would out strip the ability to feed it and that would create famine and war. 222 years later, today, we know that was not true. But Gates apparently does think it is true and it seems that his REAL GOAL is to significantly reduce the worlds population.
The following bits of videos will show that Gate and Fauci (a hired hand of Gates) probably created this COVID-19 pandemic in Wuhan China and hid its release in China and the World Health organization until it had spread world wide. This two both need to be tried for Crimes Against Humanity. or example from a NIH 2005 study, that found that “Chloroquine is a potent inhibitor of SARS coronavirus infection and spread.” Fauci has been rejecting the use of this and has been preaching the Gates vaccine solution. The report stated:

These inhibitory effects are observed when the cells are treated with the drug either before or after exposure to the virus, suggesting both prophylactic and therapeutic advantage. In addition to the well-known functions of chloroquine such as elevations of endosomal pH, the drug appears to interfere with terminal glycosylation of the cellular receptor, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2. This may negatively influence the virus-receptor binding and abrogate the infection, with further ramifications by the elevation of vesicular pH, resulting in the inhibition of infection and spread of SARS CoV at clinically admissible concentrations.
Conclusion
Chloroquine is effective in preventing the spread of SARS CoV in cell culture. Favorable inhibition of virus spread was observed when the cells were either treated with chloroquine prior to or after SARS CoV infection. In addition, the indirect immunofluorescence assay described herein represents a simple and rapid method for screening SARS-CoV antiviral compounds.”
This is a photo of Nussbaum’s Jewelry store (at least of the storefront as it looked in 1991). It was my father’s family business. As a little boy he was introduced to the watch business and plans were someday he would inherit and run it. Lots of people had plans for their stores in New York City too, when March 2020 began.
Nussbaum’s jewelry store was closed on Friday, September 1, 1939, by fascists, taken first by Hitler and then by his twin Stalin. And the entire family except for my father were sent to the gas chambers. My father survived alone because he unlike the rest of the family was in the part of Poland that Stalin took over. Like all those stores and restaurants in New York City that were forced to close on March 15, 2020, and that still have ‘“temporarily closed” signs in their windows.

New York City is Venezuela today. It will not have theater, luxury stores, restaurants in which the middle class can sit down and eat. Do not expect to see Rolex, Breguet, Cartier or Omega boutiques in Manhattan again It will be one of the worst slums on the face of the Earth, rivaling anything in Pakistan. My father did not eat in restaurants under Stalin. He told me he survived only on potatoes and by stealing corn from a field.
Today in New York City people wearing mandatory masks stand six feet apart outside, awaiting the chance to enter grocery stores to buy food. This winter they will be standing outside in frigid weather and snow. Only there will be food shortages and the start of starvation. The number of deaths will dwarf those of Coronavirus. My father was young and strong then, he survived. I am neither young nor strong in this hell.

Everybody must have bought all the toilet paper they needed because now grocery stores have toilet paper. I am not so sure if the food supply is adequate because the hoarders stopped panic buying but the shelves still look empty at my local grocery chain.
The draconian social distancing rules have added more lines, arrows, policing, one entry and one exit only, 50 plus lines of people outside Costco and Wegman, waiting to get into the grocery store to buy their weekly necessities. Before this opportunistic viral plandemic, most grocery stores stocked three days’ worth of groceries, now it looks more like a couple of hours’ worth.
The progressive population around me still wears N-95 masks for walks in the woods and give the rest of us dirty looks for NOT wearing facial masks. We are there to get fresh air, not to catch viruses which are abundant in nature and have always been. I am not so sure THIS virus even exists in nature.
Stores are still closed for the good of the fearful and the moronic inhabitants of northern Virginia who don’t seem to listen or behave well, the governor and other local powers that be told us, we keep having cases of new infections among the illegal construction workers who don’t care about viruses, they just want to feed their large families and work in close proximity to each other, building more townhomes and apartments for the Democrats flooding the area.
Since we have not declined our infected numbers, as prescribed by doctor-in-chief, Fauci, the governor was petitioned by the third layer of government, the local ones, to extend our quarantine for the healthy indefinitely.
The streets are completely dead and silent, save for the wild animals coming out of the woods in the absence of humans, looking for food, and crossing the streets in the middle of day and walking behind our homes – coyotes, foxes, deer, racoons, and the ever-present squirrels which have multiplied since the lockdown weeks ago – nobody drives much to kill them accidentally.
The cops are everywhere, bored but ever-vigilant for the few unlucky drivers who venture out to essential stores such as grocery, pharmacy, Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Office Depot, liquor store, the legal marijuana shop, and who happen to speed on an otherwise empty highway.
On weekends, when the traffic picks up a bit, it is obvious that people have forgotten how to drive properly during their nine weeks of forced quarantine for the healthy. They look tired, harassed, old, and like woolly mammoths with unkempt hair of all colors flying in the wind like SOS banners.
The parks are still closed but people are inventive – they park on the side of the highway and enter the parks on foot or pretend to go fishing with their children. To be sure to not be stopped, they all wear facial masks, some of them professional grade for good measure.
The gas stations seem deserted because nobody has anywhere to go much but gas prices remained steady at $1.89/gallon.
People give themselves haircuts or learn to wear caps and hats again with their favorite team that is no longer allowed to practice or play.
High school and college graduates’ families have made makeshift podiums in their front yards to make-believe that their graduating children will have a memorable experience – Covid-19 Lockdown Graduation 2020.
After having cleaned their homes to a sparkling shine and planted all the flowers allowed because vegetable seeds are forbidden in some states or cannot be found, people stay on social media too long, desperate for human contact, especially on Facebook but are angry because they are being put in Facebook jail for their opinions even though we have a constitutional right to free speech.
Facebook hired censors to shadow-ban us and to factcheck our thinking and our opinions against such vaunted leftist opinions from media such as USA Today, Yahoo News, Washington Post, Huffington Post, New York Times, etc.
We are allowed medical Zoom conferences with our doctors who hide behind their computer screens at home instead of practicing medicine in their offices and touching patients they are supposed to help.
Pharmacists yell at customers who dare come too close for comfort even though they are now hiding behind six feet of space, masks, a counter, and tall Plexiglas for their protection from the unwashed and contagious masses.
The banks are also closed for our protection but it does not matter because, after Nancy Pelosi passes another $3 trillion stimulus package to pay their crony capitalists to remain in business and the ever-climbing unemployed to stay home and not ever work, your money will be worthless against rising prices deriving from the upcoming galloping Weimar Republic-style inflation.
We are thankful that we still have trash pickup as we generate tons of garbage from staying home. The mail runs much earlier than usual because there is not much correspondence, bills to pay, or ads as stores have remained closed for at least two months and are not planning on opening soon, many having declared bankruptcy. But Amazon, FedEx, and UPS are busy delivering groceries to neighbors and whatever else they shopped for. Mountains of cardboard boxes are waiting on the curb to be picked up by recyclers.
Some have asked me recently if this reminds me of living under communism. The answer is yes and no. The lockdown seems like prison, but it is a gilded prison by comparison as we have all the luxuries of western wealth and civilization that we did not have under communism. Deliveries of goods, food, and prepared food did not exist then.
The censorship of speech, assembly, religion, is fast developing into a much stronger censorship than we had under communism and it is more insidious as today’s technology makes spying on people so much easier and cheaper.
The Democrat Party has turned into the Socialists and Communists we feared, yielded a lot of power over our lives.
Our President today has been neutered quite effectively for the “collective good.” The communist dictator we suffered under yielded absolute power.
There are isolated cases, for now, of people violating lockdown orders, and paying fines and going to jail, but I am not sure communists have released hard-core criminals from jail for their own health. That is something entirely different that no communist regimes have engaged in. Many were sent to gulags for their political leanings, speech, associations, and thought. For now, we are just censored in the U.S.
Constitutional rights here have been suspended just like they were under communism. They were spelled out on paper but the Communist Party, like the Democrats, did whatever they wanted with their citizens who were locked down between borders and inside their homes.
A semblance of healthcare was provided under communism, best for the elites, like today. We did not have virtual conferencing and virtual doctors then, hospitals were not closed for lack of patients, we just did not have many hospitals or drugs to treat the sick. Today, people are scared to go to hospitals and their doctor’s offices are closed. You must take your own temperature and blood pressure.
How close are we to communism? In some ways we are quite close, in others, we still have a bit to go. But, at the rapid rate of freedoms lost, it will not be long before we live under a totalitarian regime in the U.S. as well. I just hope that the food and drug shortages to come will not be as severe as I have experienced in my first twenty years of life under communism.
From our vantage point, although in the grand scheme of things, it does matter where this not-found-in-nature Covid-19 virus has originated, like the Roman soldiers, who only cared abut the pebble in their shoes, the average American wants to live in a free and dignified way. Yet, the more we ask for freedoms we have lost, the more we are ignored and hear the chains rattle.
Our President has pointed out the fake news at many of his rallies and news conferences. He specifically identifies CNN, MSNBC, The AP, The New York Times and The Washington Post as primary sources for the misinformation and downright lies that pass for news among the low-information voters.
The Democrats who identify as journalists served up a perfect case in point on Friday.
Every freedom loving patriot celebrated the dismissal of the trumped-up charges against General Michael Flynn. After years of news articles calling him everything from a liar to a Russian agent the media begrudgingly had to report that all charges were dropped. Why after ruining this good man’s finances and career did the Justice Department finally release him from their gulag of lies?
The US attorney reviewing the Flynn case, Jeff Jensen, recommended the move to Attorney General William Barr last week and formalized the recommendation in a document this week saying, “Through the course of my review of General Flynn’s case, I concluded the proper and just course was to dismiss the case. I briefed Attorney General Barr on my findings, advised him on these conclusions, and he agreed.” The Justice Department said it had concluded that Flynn’s interview by the FBI was “untethered to, and unjustified by, the FBI’s counterintelligence investigation into Mr. Flynn” and that the interview on January 24, 2017 was “conducted without any legitimate investigative basis.”
This recommendation led to the court action by the Justice Department. U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia Timothy Shea said in a court briefing, “The United States of America hereby moves to dismiss with prejudice the criminal information filed against Michael T. Flynn. The government has determined, pursuant to the principles of federal prosecution and based on an extensive review and careful consideration of the circumstances, that continued prosecution of this case would not serve the interests of justice.” Without prejudice means the government cannot refile these charges.
These conclusions, recommendations, and actions were based on the release of previously secret Justice Department documents relating to the Flynn case that included a handwritten note from former FBI counterintelligence director Bill Priestap. After he met with then-FBI Director James Comey and then-Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Priestap wrote: “What’s our goal? Truth/Admission or to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired?”
Another document in that release indicates the FBI was planning to close the investigation into Flynn before Trump took office in January 2017. But, then two weeks before Trump’s inauguration, anti-Trump former FBI official Peter Strzok wrote: “Hey, don’t close RAZOR,” using the codeword for a probe into whether Flynn was a Russian agent. Strzok wrote that “7th floor involved.” The 7th Floor is a reference to FBI leadership.
The Flynn part of the coup attempt was summed up by President Trump, “He’s in the process of being exonerated if you looked at those notes. These were dirty, filthy cops at the top of the FBI.”
So here we have an innocent man hounded and railroaded into pleading guilty to a crime he didn’t commit. The wheels of justice slowly roll around and he’s completely exonerated. Here is where the fake news industry gets rolling. Enlisting their biggest spokesman himself fires off the following broadside of bilge.
The next day President Obama emerges from his palatial retirement and does his best to cast the mud of these false accusations back on a man who served this country’s military honorably for more than thirty years saying, “The news over the last 24 hours I think has been somewhat downplayed about the Justice Department dropping charges against Michael Flynn.
And the fact that there is no precedent that anybody can find for someone who has been charged with perjury just getting off scot-free. That’s the kind of stuff where you begin to get worried that basic — not just institutional norms — but our basic understanding of rule of law is at risk. And when you start moving in those directions, it can accelerate pretty quickly as we’ve seen in other places.”
These opinions were then published, broadcast, and in general swilled out for those locked into the Corporations Once Know as the Mainstream Media.
These outrageous statements didn’t require more than twenty-four hours for even other Progressives to start punching holes in them.
According to Jonathan Turley, a professor at the George Washington University Law School, a legal analyst in broadcast and print journalism, who has testified in United States Congressional proceedings about constitutional and statutory issues, who participated in the impeachment of President Bill Clinton and the impeachment inquiry of President Donald Trump, and who is a self-avowed liberal said, “It is a curious statement. First and foremost, Flynn was not charged with perjury. Second, we now know Obama discussed charging Flynn under the Logan Act which has never been used successfully to convict anyone and is flagrantly unconstitutional. Third, this reaffirms reports that Obama was personally invested in this effort.”
Continuing Turley pointed out there’s precedent for the Justice Department’s sudden decision. And to find it President Obama had to look no further than his own Attorney General, Eric Holder.
To give substance to his statement Turley said, “There is a specific rule allowing for this motion under Federal Rule of Criminal Procedure 48(a). There are specific Supreme Court cases like Rinaldi v. United States addressing the standard for such dismissals. The Justice Department has dismissed cases in the past including the Stevens case. That was requested by President Obama’s own Attorney General Eric Holder for the same reason: misconduct by prosecutors. It was done before the same judge, Judge Sullivan. How is that for precedent?”
Lies are propagated and disseminated as truth broadcast 24/7 by the discredited media which is nothing more than a Democrat echo chamber. In this case they’re straining at the bit and trying valiantly to keep the Russia Hoax which was the center piece of their failed coup attempt alive, at least in the minds of the low-information voters.
Today, the West is desperately trying to point the finger at China. In doing so, they are trying to deflect the problem as the politicians who authorized this lockdown have demonstrated that they are not qualified to hold office in any capacity, even as court jesters, for they are not even funny. I have often said that with each financial crisis they ask for recommendations. NEVER has any committee just once asked if the proposed solution has ever been used before and what happened.
In the case of Neil Ferguson, either he is a complete idiot or a fraud for I do not see any other possibility. An idiot because he only spoke to other epidemiologists and never ran by any economist what the cost of shutting down the entire economy would be. Perhaps he is a fraud insofar as he knew the result and did so at the direction of Bill Gates to further his climate change agenda. Why NO GOVERNMENT is grilling this guy until you cannot tell if he is crying or sweating goes to the fact that the politicians realize what they have done is also unprecedented. In the old days, they would be subjected to a death ritual reserved for traitors.
Why would any politician listen to Ferguson alone? Not a single economist was asked what would happen if they locked everyone down on Ferguson’s recommendation.
Throughout history, NEVER has any government EVER been so foolish as to lockdown the entire economy. If someone was sick, they were quarantined. That is why leper colonies were created throughout history to contain such diseases.
There are lessons that history has to offer. The breakdown of civil order has begun. Thucydides does not identify the disease which was the Plague of Athens that took the life of Pericles. He does describe the body politic – the civil unrest which became a plague in Athens.
Remarking upon the “spectacle of men dying like sheep, through having caught the infection in nursing each other,” Thucydides notes that “this sight led others to avoid the sick, emptying many houses of their residents for want of a nurse.”
As houses emptied and burial sites filled, Athenians cast aside age-old traditions, throwing the bodies of loved ones into the closest funeral pyre. With the collapse of all rituals came the collapse of civil unrest, with men “now coolly venturing on what they had formerly done in a corner.” Now that there was no longer “fear of gods or law of man,” misrule became the rule.
Thucydides also records the morality of Pericles in a funeral speech he delivered. Pericles gave praise to those Athenians who died in the war against Sparta, recalling the many reasons for this sacrifice. Pericles included in this list of political achievements an “administration that favors the many and not the few,” laws that “provide equal justice to all,” and a system where advancement depends on “capacity and merit,” not wealth and social standing.
However, Pericles also declared that Athenians, unlike other peoples, know that discussion and reflection are not “stumbling blocks to action, but an indispensable preliminary to any wise action at all.” Those who have wealth spend it “more for use than for show,” while those citizens who “attend only to their private business have no business at all in Athens.” This is how democracy works, Pericles concluded, and why Athens serves as “school for all Greece.”
We have long forgotten these goals. This virus is not merely the destroyer of worlds, it has also divided families. Far too often the breach between believing this is all natural and the world should remain locked down tends to come from the youth who really have not entered society and know nothing about having to earn a living. So we see the clash unfolding which is indeed dividing families. I know of youths who have chastised their parents as fools who should be cowering in a corner with a mask never to emerge without the approval of the state. There may still be hope once they pass the age of 25.
The demand to investigate and blame China is really not entirely justified. China did not order the lockdown on a global scale. It seems like blaming China for the massive loss of jobs is like blaming the dog for eating your homework. The problem is that there should be an investigation, but who is qualified to carry it out? Certainly not the agency of any government. We cannot even trust the United Nations.
How about we form an international committee with ZERO links to Bill Gates or the health organizations he manipulates with donations. It MUST include China and it MUST include NON-POLITICAL members.
It is clearly not some deliberate attack on China’s part. If they were really trying to do that, they would have slipped it on a plane and started it somewhere else. There are conspiracy theories that the US military planted it there, which is also unlikely. Then there are those who look at who is profiting from the virus and staged practice sessions a few months before. All fingers point to Bill Gates. That conspiracy group believes Bill Gates released it in China since he is the ONLY one who is profiting from this and is all over the world, demanding we remain locked down until he has his vaccine.
My recommendation to China is to propose a joint investigation that is trustworthy. I strongly advise that China also cut off all funding to the World Health Organization and ban all health organizations that have any link to Bill Gates until a full review is provided by a non-corrupted panel.
