One reason why Obama does not take Islamic terrorism as a serious threat to the United States is the simple fact that he is a cultural or multicultural moral relativist who, by definition, can’t take EVIL seriously.
This is a post-American phenomenon, And it has a parallel in post-Christian Europe.
Cultural/moral relativism was also evident in the 1930s among the English intelligentsia (led by A.J. Ayers), and it was recognized by George Orwell, He saw it in English literature, e.g. in D.H Lawrence’s Lady Chatterly’s Lover. Orwell deplored the fact that, unlike the ordinary man, the intellectual made no distinction between good and evil. This undermined England’s recognition? of Nazism as unmitigated evil.

I call him a cockamamie Muslim who is quite unique in that he combines cunning and ignorance permeated by the stupidity of a most unlearned person, The end result is an operationally evil person without a clear cut evil conscience.
