Alberta Towing Services Company Onforms RCMP They Will Not Participate in Effort to Remove Trucker Blockade

There are some good developments and some disappointing developments recently in the Freedom Convoy efforts to regain personal liberty and remove the COVID mandates in Canada.  First, the good development…

The RCMP attempted to get the contracted support of a Western Canada towing company, Inter-Pacific Transporation, in the effort to break up the Alberta truck blockade in/around the border crossing between Coutts, Alberta (CA) and Sweet Grass, Montana (USA).  However, the towing company released a public statement saying they stand with their brothers, the truck drivers:

In a less positive development, the interim voice of the Canadian Conservative Party, Mrs. Candice Bergen, had her first opportunity to confront the Trudeau administration in support of working class Canadians.  She failed miserably.

Instead of taking the issues of vaccine mandates, vaccine passports, covid restrictions and freedom in general to the floor of the Parliament, Ms. Bergen fell into the trap of debating racism with the Trudeau leadership.

As if operating in the 1800s, with diplomatic and political aloof-minded culturalisms, and in an epic display of ineptitude, the inability to articulate an argument, a detached focus toward the issues at hand and general weakness of principle, Ms. Bergen showcased her own incapacity to understand how to avoid the Alinsky approach of her political opponent.

Ms. Bergen’s first effort at representing strong conservative principles and being a pragmatic voice for Middle Canada, failed miserably.  WATCH:

If this really is the best voice Canadian conservatives can put forth, the truckers and working class protestors will have a much more difficult fight on their hands.  It is almost too painful to keep watching this level of pathetic weakness.

Mrs. Bergen is trying to please the abuser while framing her arguments and positions on the terms and conditions created by her opposition.

Perhaps the premise of controlled opposition is just a structurally inherent aspect to the system of government, but surely somewhere in Canada there must be a strong conservative politician not suffering from parliamentary Stockholm Syndrome.

Ottawa Freedom Protest Leadership Hold a Press Briefing

Fearful of Protest Trucks Arriving, Quebec City Officials Block Streets with City Trucks

As the Ottawa police chief ponders the deployment of the Canadian military to remove protestors and is concerned that more protest groups are likely to arrive in support of the existing convoy, city officials in Quebec have deployed a proactive strategy – block the streets with city trucks.

A Radio Canada journalist in Quebec shares the following picture:

Quebec City officials have moved municipal trucks into place to block the streets from protest trucks.  Yes Alice, Canadian officials are blocking the streets with trucks in order to stop trucks from blocking the streets.  Brilliant!

Meanwhile, as many of the locals join in celebration and merriment with the protest groups, some of the more leftist Ottawans are now protesting at the police department for not removing the protestors.  They accuse the Freedom protestors of “running amok.”

(Via CBC) – […] Rhys McGaw, a downtown resident, and others gathered for a second night on Wednesday to object to what they view as inaction by police.  “In my neighbourhood, on my street, down the street, in the stores of Centretown or Lowertown — that’s where people are just running amok,” McGaw said.” (more)

Despite earlier requests by city officials for the Canadian military to get involved, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says -from his secret bunker- that’s “not in the cards.”  Trudeau also doubled down on his position that he will not negotiate with the Freedom Convoy protestors.

However, the prime minister did affirm that RCMP officials will be present in Ottawa to provide safe space emotional counseling for residents experiencing trauma and psychological violence committed by the scruffy and unmasked working-class horde now occupying Parliament Hill.

“That is the decision Canadians took in the last election, by voting for parties that were supporting those mandates,” he told a virtual news conference Thursday.

“So having a group of people who disagree with the outcome of an election, who want to go a different way and bring in an alternative government, is a non-starter in a responsible democracy.”  (read more)

Trudeau is a Disgrace as a Head of State & Putin’s Approval Rating is nearly 2x Biden’s

The Canadian Freedom Convoy may not have moved Trudeau. Trudeau takes his orders as a good graduate of the World Economic Forum’s young leader program to infiltrate the world to push Schwab’s Marxist agenda. Nevertheless, it has led the way for the world. We now see these COVID political restrictions collapsing in England, Denmark, Finland, South Africa, and even Spain has announced it is degrading COVID to the flu.

Canada has been inspirational to the world, and this was a great idea. We are likely to see this unfold in other countries where the World Economic Forum has been running the show.

Schwab’s star pupil in his young leader’s infiltration of government has seen her polls collapse to just a 35% approval rating on par with Joe Biden, who may not be a WEF graduate, but he is a WEF supporter along with John Kerry. Trudeau’s approval rating is also well below 50%.

Putin’s approval rating in Russia stands at 65% and rising. His approval rating is nearly twice that of Biden, yet the Western press, wearing their propaganda hat, keep bashing Putin. The press is so desperately trying to portray him as evil when in fact all they are doing is keeping the old Iron Curtain up insofar as propaganda is concerned. The US and NATO have refused to compromise on anything which is deeply disturbing for it backs Putin into a corner where he looks weak to his people or he invades, which appears to be the distraction the West now desires.

We have the worst crop of world leaders in the West than at any point in history, and they have all been conditioned to follow Schwab’s dream of forcing his Great Reset upon the entire world, which has been his dream of reorganizing how society should function according to the ideas from the deep crevasses of his very dark mind. He even has Fauci and the head of New Zealand appear in his videos promoting his Marxist agenda, claiming equality is the number one problem. We are in a battle for our freedom and that of the future of our children that Schwab and his World Economic Forum are out to destroy. Is it any wonder why the one world leader with the highest approval rating in their own country is now Putin who is standing up to Schwab and his agenda?

It has been Schwab promoting the COVID lockdowns to undermine the global economy so he can BUILD BACK BETTER, which implies you first must destroy it.

Zuckerberg of CNN Resigns over Destroying “The Most Trusted Name in News”

Between January 2013 and February 2022, Jeff Zuckerberg has been running CNN. He has now at last resigned after a disastrous job performance. Zuckerberg turned his personal hatred of Donald Trump into a vendetta. Fox News made history in January 2022 as it became the first cable news network to top the charts for 20 years in a row. That score was in terms of both total average viewers and in the key 25-54 age demographic. CNN network’s overall drop in year-over-year ratings was greater than its competitors.

MSNBC was down 60% in total viewers and 75% in the demographics for daytime programming compared to 2021. During the prime time slot, the MSNBC network was down 56% in total viewers and 73% in the demographics.

CNN meanwhile came in down 74% in total viewers and 81% in the demographics. During the daytime viewers, it was down 77% in total viewers and 82% down in the demographics during prime time.

The real word on the street is Zuckerberg’s leadership has taken CNN from #1 to dead last. Before Zuckerberg, CNN had branded itself around reporting resources and its global reach. CNN turned its back on in-depth story packages and live event coverage.  PEW research found that overall the networks began using cheaper, more provocative debate forums or interviews to grab ratings. No longer was reporting the news the real objective, Zuckerberg turned CNN into yellow journalism and just launched an opinion-oriented service abandoning independent news.

Zuckerberg has successfully taken CNN from the #1 slot to dead last. His departure over the internal sex affair, where she remains but he leaves, is the cover story for his failure in running CNN and destroying it’s the once-famous tagline: “The Most Trusted Name in News.”

CNN was founded in 1980 and as it heads into its 43 years cyclical low (5 x 8.6) due in 2023, perhaps we will see a turnaround getting back to independent news or just close up shop altogether.

Meanwhile, Tucker Carlson has more Democrats tuning into his show than CNN or MSNBC. Just maybe, most Democrats are middle of the road and do not support these crazy policies of defunding the police and the WOKE movement. They do not support people like George Soros trying to pour money into the Defund Police Movement that has created total chaos in California, Chicago, and New York City. This is not the vision of America they want to leave their children where it is no longer safe to walk into a store or down the street.

The Convoy to DC 2022

In an act of solidarity with their northern neighbors, US truckers are amassing to form the Convoy to DC. The Facebook page, which is currently inaccessible at the time of this writing, hosted over 131,000 followers. The dates have not been set yet, but the group is aiming to start a convoy that will begin in California and end in front of Washington, DC. The group is urging everyone, regardless of occupation, to join them in an act of civil disobedience.

“We’re done with the mandates, we’re done with the government telling us what to do, we will continue, and we will follow just like the rest of the world on these trucker protests, and they will be 100 percent legal, they will abide by the law,” Brian Von D, a trucker a group organizer, said. “The government overreach is coming to an end, and this is how we do it.” Facebook may be censoring the group for now, but if people feel passionate about the cause then they will find a way to organize effectively.

Various Canadian provinces have begun repealing their ridiculous mandates. The protest in Canada has been effective.

The agenda must be clear in order for the protest to be effective — repeal all mandates! The protestors would like to have a peaceful ride to DC but should be wary of false flags and people infiltrating their protest (see: Ray Epps). Resistance is not futile.

Quebec Scraps Unvaccinated Tax

Quebec Premier François Legault realized that the mandates are dividing Canadians in a profound way. In order to protect “social cohesion,” Legault is eliminating plans to tax the unvaccinated. Legault initially stated that he wanted the tax to be “significant” in order to force nearly 10% of unvaccinated Quebecers to take the shot. After seeing the persistence of the Freedom Convoy that is certainly not a “small fringe minority” as Trudeau suggested, the plan to tax the unvaccinated has been scrapped. Politicians do not want to face the wrath of the people as Trudeau is currently experiencing. “I understand that this divides Quebecers and right now we need to build bridges,” stated Legault. “My role is to try to bring Quebecers together to stay united as a people.”

Quebec Liberal leader Dominique Anglade declared that Legault “came up with this idea that was not only irresponsible, that was not thought through, that didn’t have any legal support to it.” This comes on the tail of public health director, Dr. Horacio Arruda, stepping down from his 12-year career amid controversy. Some accuse Legault of attempting to implement the tax as a way to distract the public from the scandal. He never presented a clear plan to implement the tax and failed to say exactly how much the tax would cost otherwise law-abiding citizens.

Regardless, politicians are beginning to learn that they do not have unlimited authority. The people will not allow that to happen. The “do this or else” fear tactics are fading along with Fascist dreams to create a new world that no one agreed to participate in.

Switzerland Abolishes COVID Restrictions

Now Switzerland is abolishing COVID restrictions. More and more countries are waking up to this insanity. I have had numerous calls on the subject and I believe that computer forecast that these people would fail and that this could not extend beyond the 3rd year, all once again making it on time and a correct forecast for Socrates. The COVID Crash was March 2020 and they began to organize it by August 2019. I warned Schwab – beware the Ides of March.

Meanwhile, Trudeau was on the run, and in the USA, Biden orders U.S. soldiers who refuse to get a COVID-19 vaccine will be immediately discharged, the U.S. Army said on Wednesday, saying the move was critical to maintaining combat readiness. It is really hard to say who is the worst head of state – Trudeau or Biden?

Alberta Blockade Becoming a Matter of Government Officials Positioning to Save Face as Trucker Pressure Has Winning Leverage

The border crossing between Coutts, Alberta (CA) and Sweet Grass, Montana (USA) continues to be closed despite truckers opening a lane in either direction as a show of good faith.  The dynamics in this regional part of the larger Freedom Convoy protests are very interesting.  The Alberta protests are in support of the larger trucker protest taking place in Ottawa.

Last night, Alberta Premier Jason Kenney (the Robert the Bruce character in the province), disparaged the truckers in the protest group and claimed, without evidence, that violence was taking place in the confrontation between RCMP and the Truckers.  It was all lies.

Just like Justin Trudeau makes stuff up for media stenographers to draw an alternate framework of reality, so too did Jason Kenney have the same motive. The painfully political Kenney, a visible elitist and detached politician, was playing his controlled opposition role and attacking the Freedom Truckers.

Just to give appropriate understanding for how detached these conservatives in Canada are from the people they claim to represent, Jason Kenney’s political worm traits were on full display during his prepared remarks on Tuesday.  However, 24 hours later, as soon as his brother in controlled opposition Erin O’Toole was removed from political power, suddenly Premier Kenney has a change of heart and proclaims his allegiance to the Truckers, saying, “I’m on your side.”  The slime oozes from this guy.

Despite all that, the truckers remained focused -reinforced their ranks- and engaged in conversation with the rural Ministers of Alberta’s Legislative Assembly (MLA’s).  The MLA’s are apparently slightly less slimy creatures akin to political clan leaders in the province.

The rural MLA’s said they would hold a meeting and drop the COVID mandates, thereby supporting the demands of the truckers.  In exchange, and as an act of good faith, the truckers would open a lane in each direction of the highway at the Coutts border crossing area.  The RCMP was happy to see negotiations be fruitful and backed away from any police enforcement action.

However, the The United Conservative Party, the right wing of the Trudeau led uniparty, then denied there was any agreement:

“Reports have surfaced that the United Conservative rural caucus has negotiated an agreement to temporarily end the Coutts blockade pending the outcome of a rural caucus meeting to discuss the immediate lifting of the Restrictions Exemption Program (REP),” UCP caucus chair Nathan Neudorf said in a statement Wednesday afternoon.

“No such agreement has been authorized and the meeting is not to discuss lifting the REP. As the Premier [Kenney] has stated, Alberta will begin lifting restrictions very soon, likely within days, starting with the REP.” (link)

Conservative politics in Canada is even more slimy than GOP politics in the U.S.

The Conservative Party does not want to see the truckers achieve through grassroots activism what their highbrow political pontifications could not deliver.  Therefore, the official position of the Conservative Party of Canada is to downplay the influence of the truckers until the installed correct thinking politicians are in position to take credit.

The problem for Premier Jason Kenney, and the larger Conservative Political Party in Canada not just in Alberta, is the blue collar truckers and grassroots ordinary Canadians have proven they can win without politicians.  This is a similar scenario to the Tea Party in the U.S. circa 2010.

Just as the GOP in the U.S. is full of useless pontificating cocktail party cronies who powder themselves in the country clubs of Wall Street finance, so too does the Conservative Party of Canada follow the same political business model.

Kenney and the Conservative Party are trying to figure out how to acquiesce to the Freedom Trucker movement and remove COVID restrictions without letting it appear like the Freedom Truckers won.   The dynamic is transparent and sickening, and it shows the reason why there has been no opposition to Justin Trudeau throughout his tenure.

The Canadian Conservative Party is the right wing of the UniParty bird, and the extreme liberals are the left wing.  Both parties support the vulture of big government.

As a result, the Freedom Trucker movement is a threat to politicians in the Canadian Conservative Party just like the Tea Party and MAGA movement were/are a threat to the Republican Party in the U.S.

The working class in Canada holds all the power, but both wings of the UniParty do not want that noticed.  Unfortunately for them, the Freedom Trucker movement has exposed the power of the people in Canada, and the politicians -in both parties- don’t know how to act.

Ottawa Police Chief Opens Possibility of Using Canadian Military to Remove Freedom Convoy Protest Group

Several days ago CTH presented the following meme/metaphor, because history has a tendency to rhyme:

Those who recognize and appreciate history will note that whenever hardline leftism is confronted anywhere in history, there always comes an inflection point when the ruling state police have to make a decision.

When the Chinese communists decided it was time to rid themselves of the dissident protests in Tiananmen Square, the local military encircled the student and academic activists in an effort to protect them (pictured above).  However, the ruling Chinese officials were not happy, and sent for the Mongolian army divisions, those without familial connections in the movement, to do the dirty work.  The rest of history you likely know.

In Ottawa, Canada, again another exhibition of confronting hardline totalitarian leftists, the voices of those within the Freedom Convoy movement are similarly not going to be deterred.  The protestors want the government COVID dictates removed, they want vaccine passport rules dropped, they want mandated vaccinations and forced medical procedures stopped, and they want their freedom back.

Into this equation and confrontation, The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) and local law enforcement are also unlikely to want to bring blood and violence upon the streets.  However, the hardline leftists will not allow dissent to challenge their power. As history repeats, the local police are now opening the possibility of bringing in the military.

Yes, history is rhyming again.

(CANADA STATE MEDIA) – […] Ottawa’s police chief says policing alone might not solve the ongoing, volatile occupation of the city’s downtown core that has lasted for nearly a week, and military aid might be necessary.

“This is a national issue, not an Ottawa issue,” Ottawa police Chief Peter Sloly said in a briefing to city councillors Wednesday afternoon. 

“I am increasingly concerned there is no policing solution to this.”

Sloly said options being considered include requesting military aid, negotiation, political response, a court injunction or forced removal of protesters. But all approaches come with significant concerns, including rioting, injury and death, he said.

“I don’t have a singular mandate in this city, this province or this country, to negotiate the end to any demonstration. There always needs to be an element outside of the police for any truly successful end to any demonstration, particularly one of this size,” he said. (read more)

Whether Prime Minister Justin Trudeau triggers the use of the Canadian military to attack peaceful protestors within the city of Ottawa under the auspices of his authority and the national state of emergency, is yet to be determined.  However, it is important to not let this moment in the discussion go without emphasis.

This looming question of violence is always the outcome when leftism is confronted.

Hardline leftists must impose their policy by force.  There is not a single example throughout history when following socialism, communism, fascism or leftism writ large to its natural conclusion, does not end up with this type of dynamic.  This always happens.

The reason is simple. Leftism is based on the controlling constructs of manipulative people.  The natural forces that guide humanity to seek a life of liberty and freedom are in direct conflict with those constructs.  Leftism is about controlling human behavior, there will always be this conflict so long as people still yearn to be free and unregulated.  The level of oppressive fear needed to create compliance is the only variable in the equation.

It’s hopefully unlikely that Justin Trudeau will order the military to open fire on truckdrivers and their supporters.   However, it is not out of the realm of possibility, because this is the true nature of where communal demand takes us.  The greater good of society always demands the removal of any voice who would stand in opposition to the oppressive regulations.  In a directly connected example, this is why Big Tech must silence the voices of dissidents who challenge the regime.

Moments of great consequence come down to this confrontation.  Generations of people who are born after the violence takes place do not have a reference point for this; that is why history is guaranteed to repeat.

It is only when the younger people see the extent of violence the ruling class will deliver in order to retain power that you see a youthful awakening.  Thus, the quote from Thomas Jefferson, “The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants,” takes on its intended focus.

Conflict, sometimes violent confrontation, is the natural outcome of allowing a slow erosion of liberty to take place.  Accepting this truism is why the wise voices in our history have sounded trumpets whenever examples rise of that erosion.  Taking your shoes off in the airport starts to look a whole lot differently when you realize that eventually that simple act, and the next series of simple acts, are simple steps toward the confrontation that will always, eventually, surface.

The issues in/around COVID-19, and the government responses around it, have replaced the process of slowly eroding liberty with an era of full throttled running directly toward tyranny.

What is happening in Ottawa right now will determine the direction of Canada for generations.

These are the stakes…

(UK Guardian) – […] Officials expect more protesters to arrive in the city over the weekend, and described the situation “volatile”.

Residents have become increasingly frustrated with the blaring truck horns and a number of local businesses have shuttered. The Rideau Centre, a popular mall downtown, announced it would remain closed until 6 February.

“Residents have been abandoned during a national crisis – an occupation of our city,” said city councillor Catherine McKenney, calling on police ask the RCMP for help.

Protesters released a statement on Wednesday, saying they sympathized with residents over the disruption to daily life, but added trucks would only leave once the federal government repealed its public health restrictions, many of which are under provincial and municipal jurisdiction. (read more)
