White House Economic Policy Chairman, in Charge of Economic Predictions, Says He Will Not Give Any Economic Predictions

In the aftermath of the White House demanding that media pundits put a positive spin on economic news, the National Economic Council Chairman, Brian Deese, appears at the Brady Room podium today [Full Video Here] to put the finishing touches on their Potemkin village of economics.

The statistics cited by Deese were jaw dropping in the level of spin used to create them.  First, the economic council cite their own national employment forecasts for economic recovery (under their ‘American Rescue Plan’), then celebrate they are ahead of schedule for a timeline they created.

When asked about inflation, Deese then proclaims he is not going to get into the business of economic predictions; which the media just accept without reminding him that his economic policies are entirely based on his own predictions… which he just cited in the prior moment of self-congratulation.  Additionally, according to Deese (without any citation to demonstrate validity for his claim), the NEC Chairman says “real household income” is at its pre-pandemic level; which seems highly unlikely given the scale of inflation.

When asked if inflation will continue into next year, Deese refused to answer the question.  Keep in mind, the discussion of inflation is a percentage of change from a previous price 12 months earlier.  If an item doubles in price this year (from $2 to $4), and then goes up to $4.50 in the following year, you can claim that inflation is dramatically decreasing.  However, that does not mean prices will ever return to the prior level, or that the next year price is any more affordable.  WATCH:

The fact remains that White House energy, regulatory, fiscal and monetary policies are devastating for Main Street.  All of those policies impact the domestic economy with increased costs from field to fork.

Cumulatively, all of the White House economic policies are increasing housing costs, transportation costs, medical costs, food costs, retail costs and service costs.  At the same time, wages are only modestly rising to keep up with those massive cost increases.  No amount of spin is going to stop the reality of the inflation storm from hitting U.S. consumers.

As we shared during the Obama-era baseline budget spending and deficit mess: “Half of something you just quadrupled is not less than you started with.”

Here’s the full press conference:

ttom line:  The inflation number due tomorrow is again likely to show the aggregate level of compounded inflation in the supply chain.  This is what the White House is trying to distract from.

Verdict GUILTY

UPDATE: Guilty on five of six counts for filing a false police report related to the hoax racist attack he claimed to suffer at the hands of two men in January 2019

According to numerous media reports, the jury in the Jussie Smollett fake hate crime case has reached a verdict.

The jury verdict is expected around 6:00pm EDT.

(LA Times) – […] The jury deliberated about eight hours Wednesday and Thursday after a roughly one-week trial in which two brothers testified that Smollett recruited them to fake the attack near his home in downtown Chicago in January 2019. They said Smollett orchestrated the hoax, telling them to put a noose around his neck and rough him up in view of a surveillance camera, and that he said he wanted video of the hoax made public via social media. Yesterday, Rachael Rollins was confirmed by the Senate as Joe Biden’s selection to be the U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts {LINK}.  Watch the former District Attorney Rachael Rollins previously respond to a local Boston media crew.

Watch what happened, and remember, this person is now the U.S. Attorney for Massachusetts:

The severe leftist disposition exhibited in that video was well known to the U.S. Senate prior to her confirmation hearings.

Texas Senator Ted Cruz highlighted and warned his peers about the danger that Mrs. Rollins’ worldview as district attorney represented if she was put into a position of significant authority.  Arkansas Senator Tom Cotton also gave numerous warnings and for a time blocked the nomination.

Alas, eventually the Senate approved of Mrs. Rollins despite all the warnings.   The Senate vote was a 50/50 tie.  No Republicans voted to support Rachael Rollins, and Kamala Harris stepped in to break the tie.

Anthony Fauci Reveals Himself as a Fabian Socialist, Openly Advocating The Communal Good Supersedes The Individual’s Right

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on December 9, 2021 | Sundance | 330 Comments

This one minute segment from Anthony Fauci’s discussion with MSBNC journalist Andrea Mitchell is eye-opening and alarming.  Within the interview, Dr. Fauci states that individual rights to medical autonomy must be *forcibly* removed by the state under the premise of a communal good.  This is the exact mindset of the Fabian Socialists throughout history.

Dr. Fauci stated, “Free will. I respect that, but these are unusual times.”    Pull your chair a little closer, and allow me to whisper in your ear: ‘There will always be unusual times.’

Historically, this type of communal outlook has been used as a talking point to justify some of the darkest times in world history.   Politicians, eugenicists and some very disturbed world leaders with grand opinions of their own importance, have long espoused this same ideology.  It is a twisted and sick worldview that eventually leads to the same repeated conclusion.  WATCH [1 minute]:

The most sovereign of all human conditions is the right of an individual to be free.  As soon as the state begins eroding the right of the individual, bad things start to happen.  The communal mob is a fickle assembly who will always cull itself with ever-changing denominators of purity….

The ideology of Anthony Fauci is dangerous.

Allow me to expand….

Fabian founders Beatrice and Sydney Webb (from the left, appropriately), and Fabian popularizer George Bernard Shaw

The Fabian Plan for gradual Socialist Revolution was as definitive as it possibly could be. To say it has been an ideological conspiracy was/is simplistic in the extreme.

The Fabian plan included instituting widespread educational programs for its leadership and its minions, and as time progressed, it opened schools, such as the London School of Economics, and the New School of Social Research.  Later, they expanded to Columbia University in New York City and beyond.

One stroke of genius was that instead of advocating a Socialist State, the Fabians assisted in the implementation of the Welfare State; which, as we should all know, is merely a few steps away from a purely Socialistic State. It was, of course, implemented gradually and played upon the weaknesses of human nature to gain popularity.

Unlike the usual Socialist points of views, the Fabians didn’t advocate complete State ownership of businesses, industry, agriculture or land.  Instead they sought to involve the State into very specific areas of importance such as electric power production, transportation, precious metals and of course, credit. The remaining balance of economic systems would be left to the private sector, however; it would be highly regulated by the State and operated according to the wishes of the State.

If you look at Great Britain, you will see that they accomplished their goals with ease.  The Fabian entry into American life has been more difficult; however, the goals are the same, and they have made enormous advances toward those goals.   Most of their accomplishments have been realized without using that dreaded word: ‘Socialism’.

They have brought the Fabian Dream to America through an extremely brilliant system that has been openly accepted by the voters of this country without the hint of suspicion on their part that they were voting a socialistic system into place.

Now, make no mistake about it, Fabian Socialists are Statist.  They are absolutely authoritarian in their philosophy. Their long-term goal has always been a socialistic dictatorship with full imposition of a very legalistic society where the individual is simply a part of the collective.

An example of this can be found in the writings of one of the founders of the Fabian Society, George Bernard Shaw.  Speaking of the Socialist Utopia, he said: “Under Socialism, you would not be allowed to be poor. You would be forcibly fed, clothed, lodged, taught, and employed whether you liked it or not. If it were discovered that you had not the character and industry enough to be worth all this trouble, you might possibly be executed in a kindly manner; but whilst you were permitted to live, you would have to live well.”  Does this century-old quote sound like the recent remarks from the World Economic Forum: “You will own nothing, and be happy”?

Of course, all of this would be in the best interest of society as a whole and the whole made up simply of parts, individuals merely cogs in the machine of social justice. This idea of social justice is the biggest selling point and perhaps the easiest to peddle to the people.

Programs of social reform, incremental at first, allowed for the tempering of the people; allowing for them to grow accustom to the intervention of the State in the affairs of the individual. Of course, such reforms are never an end unto themselves only stepping stones to a greater Socialist construct of society.

Regarding the great strides made toward these goals, Max Beer stated with confidence: “There was no reason for Socialists to wait for revolution. The realization of socialism had begun the moment when the State became accessible to social reform ideas.” Indeed, the revolution was already half realized at the moment when the State stepped over the threshold of progressive social construction and intervention into the private lives of the people.

The first step in any Socialist plan is the reform of capitalism, when the capitalist system is sufficiently neutralized, the rest comes relatively easy.

The first step to an efficient plan of capitalist neutralization is control over the money supply, and for that a central bank is required along with a fiat monetary system.  In this country that was initiated with the advent of the Federal Reserve.

Later of course, must come effective controls over major infrastructure and services, all accomplished through the New Deal. The New Deal accomplished substantial feats toward the Fabian Socialist construct with numerous price controls, quotas, subsidies, inspections, regulations, licenses, fees, penalties and massive government interventions into what was formerly private enterprise.

Although you would never hear politicians of either political party admit to support the ideals of socialism, they nevertheless not only support such measures, but also promote them. Indeed, we have watched a greater push toward socialism, though few realize it.

The government is assuming more and more responsibility for and authority over the economy, all under the guise of protecting the people from potentially unscrupulous free marketeers. We are always being moved, mostly nudged, another small step closer to the dream society of the Fabians.

Of course, these are simply steps, essential parts to a much broader agenda, one that is authoritarian in nature and execution, even the centrally planned economy is a mere step, not the end product. It is all carefully crafted, manufactured to ensure the most popular support possible for “people-friendly” solutions while instituting a fraudulent system of central control over the unsuspecting public.

The system has been marketed to the public, one specific component at a time, each component essential to the completion of the whole, and that is the brilliance of this gradual imposition of Fabian Socialism in this country.

The greatest bulwark against tyranny in America has always been the system of private ownership and free enterprise.  It is the cornerstone of our system of government, and without it our freedoms and liberty are in jeopardy.

Central economic planning is, in a very basic sense, the keystone to Fabian Socialism, for in order for it to succeed, central State planning and control must replace the system of free enterprise.

While it was not necessary for the State to actually own or directly control all the elements in the economy, it is enough for the State to have the right to assert itself in any area that it deems necessary. The Fabians called it “the democratization of economic power”, in other words socialized and centralized control over economic direction within the country.

In 1942, Stuart Chase, in his book “The Road We Are Traveling” spelled out the system of planning the Fabians had in mind; the interesting thing is to look at that plan in comparison to 2021 America.

1. Strong, centralized government.
2. Powerful Executive at the expense of Congress and the Judicial.
3. Government controlled banking, credit and securities exchange.
4. Government control over employment.
5. Unemployment insurance, old age pensions.
6. Universal medical care, food and housing programs.
7. Access to unlimited government borrowing.
8. A managed monetary system.
9. Government control over foreign trade.
10. Government control over natural energy sources, transportation and agricultural production.
11. Government regulation of labor.
12. Youth camps devoted to health discipline, community service and ideological teaching consistent with those of the authorities.
13. Heavy progressive taxation.

It should be evident that while Socialists no longer use the name, that the plan is socialism at its heart. The Fabian Socialist Revolution began in earnest in this country in 1933 with the imposition of the Welfare State and has been steadily progressing since.

Those who are promoting this system, whether in the Republican Party or Democratic Party, are nothing less than traitors, guilty of a type of high treason that deserves the most punitive penalty for such treachery. Listen carefully to the propositions of Joe Biden, AOC and Democratic leadership; I suspect you will quickly find their positions are not only similar, but they propose in essence and detail the Fabian Socialist construct.

The system that these marauders are imposing upon us will, if not halted with forceful opposition, ultimately alter our system of government beyond recognition. It is being accomplished with equal parts respectability and equal parts antagonism.   The Fabians would not dream of such an imposition without popular support, and they will make sure they have popular support.

In 1933, they proposed that private enterprise had failed leaving the jobless to starve and hope to fade.  This was the premise for the State to step in, save the country and protect the people from the dangers associated with the inherent problems of free enterprise.

Today, this COVID call is very similar, the State must step in to protect the people. The Corporate State is, in the minds of Fabians, the ultimate protector of the common man, the provider of security on all fronts, but it requires our complete compliance and the relinquishment of our liberty in exchange.

♦ The State is ultimately the one source of wealth and health.

The problem is that the wealth is the people’s wealth confiscated in exchange for their hard labor. It is, in essence, a plan for a modern feudal society of peonage, and the people are the peons.

A worse problem arises with health.  Once we give our healthcare responsibility to the State, well, they start making decisions for us; including how many of us around are actually good for the State.  Cue Dr. Anthony Fauci…

…”free will. I respect that, but these are unusual times.”

Pro-Marxist Threat to the US Banking System Eliminated

Armstrong Economics Blog/Politics Re-Posted Dec 9, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

Saule Omarova will not become the next US Comptroller of the Currency after withdrawing her candidacy. Nominated by President Joe Biden, Omarova has come under fire for her Marxist views and received bipartisan opposition. Omarova previously dispelled notions that she supported Marxism, stating that she could not control the fact that she was born in Kazakhstan when it was part of the Soviet Union.

Biden claims that Omarova was “subjected to inappropriate personal attacks,” and maintains that she would “have brought invaluable insight and perspective to our important work on behalf of the American people.” As a reminder, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency charters, regulates and supervises all national banks. It also supervises the federal branches and agencies of foreign banks. Her “invaluable insight” could drastically change the course of the economy.

Saule Omarova studied at Moscow State University under a scholarship named after Vladimir Lenin. Her thesis paper entitled “Karl Marx’s Economic Analysis and the Theory of Revolution in The Capital,” has been scrubbed from her public record, despite multiple requests for the paper by the Senate. Previous behavior is the best indicator of future behavior, so we can surmise what her thesis stated. Omarova declared that the US needed to “end banking as we know it” by transitioning deposits from private banks to the supposedly independent Federal Reserve. She was encouraging the creation of the  National Investment Authority (NIA), which would sit between the Fed and the Treasury and ensure that the Build Back Better agenda was properly funded. “The NIA envisioned in this Article does not represent a ‘public takeover’ or ‘socialization’ of finance, nor is it an illicit ‘privatization’ of public infrastructure. Rather, it is a means by which all of us can collectively supply what each of us needs, but cannot individually supply,” Omarova penned with Robert C. Hocket in “Private Wealth and Public Goods: A Case for a National Investment Authority.”

To push forward this agenda, the alleged non-Communist wanted to bankrupt coal, oil, and mining industries to tackle climate change. “The way we basically get rid of those carbon financiers is we starve them of their sources of capital,” she said. “Give them a safe asset that pays more than US Treasury bond and take them away from the current carbon financiers.”

Worsening matters, Omarova actually praised the USSR for controlling salaries as it equalized pay (i.e., poverty) for men and women. “Until I came to the US, I couldn’t imagine that things like gender pay gap still existed in today’s world. Say what you will about old USSR, there was no gender pay gap there. Market doesn’t always ‘know best,’” she tweeted. In response to the backlash, Omarova only dug herself in a deeper hole. “I never claimed women and men were treated absolutely equally in every facet of Soviet life. But people’s salaries were set (by the state) in a gender-blind manner. And all women got very generous maternity benefits. Both things are still a pipe dream in our society!”

President Biden should be charged with treason and impeached for nominating someone who is clearly a threat to the US banking system.

Woke Mathematics

Armstrong Economics Blog/Education Re-Posted Dec 9, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

In the year 2021, everything can and will be politicized. Numerous people enjoy mathematics because it is a predictable formula that makes sense. In 2019, before the pandemic completely disrupted education, the US ranked #30 for math scores among countries in the OECD, while China ranked #1 in science and mathematics.

California plans to promote a new way for children to learn math by implementing “woke” culture.

The academics observe California’s proposed K-12 framework:

  • Promotes fringe teaching methods such as “trauma-informed pedagogy.”
  • Distracts from actual mathematics by having teachers insert “environmental and social justice” into the math curriculum.
  • Distracts from actual mathematics by assigning students—as schoolwork—tasks it says will solve “problems that result in social inequalities.”
  • Urges teachers to take a “justice-oriented perspective at any grade level, K–12” and explicitly rejects the idea that mathematics itself is a “neutral discipline.”
  • “Reject[s] ideas of natural gifts and talents” and discourages accelerating talented mathematics students.

Over 1,200 California academics have signed an open letter claiming the above would poeticize “k-12 math in a potentially disastrous way.” If Johnny has three apples and his friend has one, does this make Johnny part of the bourgeoisie?

America’s delusions of grandeur to become the social justice warrior of the world is destroying education. The academics fighting against this new curriculum stated why the East is dominating education and will raise the next generation of great minds:

“The claim that math is not accessible is an insult to the millennia of non-Western mathematicians and erases the contributions of cultures around the world to mathematics as we now know it. Large numbers of students in developing countries are currently succeeding in advanced mathematics, and American industries have been put in the position of having to encourage them to come to the United States to work.”

Munich Protest & Others being Ignored by Governments

Armstrong Economics Blog/Tyranny Re-Posted Dec 8, 2021 by Martin Armstrong

There was a massive protest in Munich on the 8th against this COVID Tyranny. Of course, governments do not care for the real agenda is to completely wipe out democracy and usher in Schwab’s Great Reset. They have been using this virus as merely a tool to achieve their political restructuring. While people argue over the PCR test, whether this is a virus, and what are the side-effects of the vaccines, all of that is a distraction and they could care less how many people die from COVID or the vaccines. This is solely about their political power for governments can no longer borrow endlessly. Their negative interest rates have destroyed the European bond market and the pension funds. There is no turning back. The only ultimate recourse will be violence which will rise in 2022.

Recent Leftist Panic Takes Context – Democrat Pollster Finds Inflation and Checkbook Worries Twice as Concerning for Voters Than COVID

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on December 8, 2021 | Sundance | 229 Comments

Considering the recent Democrat freakout over the ‘economic narrative‘, which included a request for corporate media to circle the wagons, their desperation is starting to make sense.

Patrick Murray is a notoriously partisan pollster from Monmouth University {use searchbar}.  Leftist favorite Murray puts the spin in spin-master when it comes to media polling and narrative engineering.

The Monmouth engineer recently released a heavily spun poll warning the communists and leftist Democrats, showing checkbook issues are the top concern priority for Americans – far beyond any concern about the COVID madness.

Keep in mind, Murray skews polls in extraordinary ways; however, yet even Monmouth cannot avoid seeing that 29% of leftist Americans are very concerned with inflation, while only 18% are concerned with COVID [pdf here].  Monmouth’s polls are always skewed with responses from the DNC base, so consider that result amid their own tribe.  Democrats are twice as worried about their household bills and inflation as they are worried about Omicron or any variant therein.

This explains the massive freakout in the backrooms of the White House and DNC at the moment.  Their economic policy chickens are coming home to roost.

“Concerns about inflation have taken center stage in discussions around America’s kitchen tables. And, as one would expect, many are placing the blame squarely on Washington,” said Patrick Murray, director of the independent Monmouth University Polling Institute. (link)

When you ignore the public spin Murray puts on the polling (Republicans horrible etc), the bottom line is devastating for Democrats.  This aligns with a recent Wall Street Journal survey showing that Latinos are flocking to the Republican Party, and there is now an even 50/50 split amid Hispanic voters.

“One year after giving Democratic House candidates more than 60% of their vote, according to polls at the time, the Journal survey found that Hispanic voters are evenly split in their choice for Congress. Asked which party they would back if the election were today, 37% of Hispanic voters said they would support the Republican congressional candidate and 37% said they would favor the Democrat, with 22% undecided.” (link)

Keep in mind the MAGA movement, which has overtaken the traditional GOP, is an assembly of the blue-collar working class.  The MAGA coalition is not about race, creed, national origin, special interest grouping, or what you do in your bedroom.  The MAGA assembly are aligned in common purpose on commonsense Main Street economic issues.

America First is Main Street first, while AOC sheeple and their champagne socialist base promote economic outcomes favorable to Wall Street and corporate multinationals.  It doesn’t matter how much they use cognitive dissonance to deny that, the economic outcomes are in your face every day.

When it comes to inflation, the AOC ‘Build Back Better‘ program has the direct consequence of making things worse.  They cannot reverse the impacts of leftist policy on energy pricing without changing their structural energy policy – and that ain’t gonna happen.

There’s only about 45 days left (+/-) before the next round of massive inflation hits the country at a retail level.  As the raw material and wholesale price increases hit the retail level, the next wave of compounded increased prices will hit harder -and be more steep- than all preceding increments.

Contract terms for payments inside the supply chain are net 30, net 60 or net 90 days, depending on the industry and sector.   As those prior contracts were delivered, a massive number of new purchase order fulfillment agreements were written without defined prices, because the raw material and processing costs were changing too fast to be quantified.

Those ‘undefined pricing’ contracts and agreements are going to carry the full weight of increased raw material, energy and transportation costs, and those prices are going to stun many of the recipients.

If the leftists in the political establishment are worried about checkbook economics and grocery store conversations today, you can well imagine that worry turning to fear as soon as the next wave of reality hits the kitchen table.

What The Heck – Joe Biden Shouts at The Audience, He Wants Americans To Pay Even More For Gasoline

This is nuts.  The White House occupant doesn’t have any idea what they are loading into his teleprompter at this point, he just shouts it at the audience as if it’s supposed to make some kind of bizarre sense.   This doofus is totally off his rocker.  What does this even mean?  WATCH (20 seconds):

I’ll look for a more expanded explanation as to what this idiot is supposedly saying.  Good grief, what a knucklehead.

Biden Team Hold Backroom Talks With National Media, Instructions to Put Positive Spin on Economic Reports

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on December 8, 2021 | Sundance | 213 Comments

According to media reports of the meetings, the people responsible for the Biden administration are instructing U.S. media outlets to report on the economy as if things are going well.

Unfortunately, massive Biden spending programs, in combination with fiscal policy, monetary policy, energy policy and mandatory vaccination policy, have created a perfect storm of inflation. That storm is growing in scale and scope and is likely to get much worse before it stalls.

The White House demands that media must ignore stunning price increases at the supermarket, jaw dropping home heating costs this winter, prices at the gas pumps that are 50 percent higher than last year, backlogs in the supply chain due to environmental regulation at West Coast ports, and a shortage of critical blue collar workers inside the U.S. Main Street economy due to the vaccine mandate. “Other than that, how did you like the play Mrs. Lincoln?”

In short, the White House wants the U.S. media to apply more cowbell to their propaganda.

Even CNN is having a tough time accepting the instructions:

The White House, not happy with the news media’s coverage of the supply chain and economy, has been working behind the scenes trying to reshape coverage in its favor. Senior White House and admin officials — including NEC Deputy Directors David Kamin and Bharat Ramamurti, along with Ports Envoy John Porcari — have been briefing major newsrooms over the past week, a source tells me.

The officials have been discussing with newsrooms trends pertaining to job creation, economic growth, supply chains, and more. The basic argument that has been made: That the country’s economy is in much better shape than it was last year. I’m told the conversations have been productive, with anchors and reporters and producers getting to talk with the officials… (read more)
