Sunday Talks – Anthony Blinken Discusses U.S. Plans for Iranian Involvement in Israeli War

Anthony Blinken appears on CBS Face the Nation to discuss the U.S. response to the Israeli war against Hamas terrorists. Margaret Brennan clutches her pearls and gives her best defense of Hamas/Palestinian terrorists. But the babies and the children, or something; all of that is propaganda. WATCH:

[Transcript] – MARGARET BRENNAN: We go now to Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who is at the State Department. Good morning to you, Mr. Secretary.

SECRETARY OF STATE ANTONY BLINKEN: Morning, Margaret, good to be with you.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Tension is very high in the region. Are you changing your security posture? Are you pulling any US personnel out of the area?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: Margaret, we are concerned at the possibility of Iranian proxies, escalating their attacks against our own personnel, our own people. We’re taking every measure to make sure that we can defend them and if necessary, respond decisively. Not at all what we’re looking for, not all we want, but we’ll be prepared, if that’s what they choose to do.

MARGARET BRENNAN: So it sounds like quite possibly pulling people out. In terms of the threat from Iran, you just referenced there, President Biden in his Oval Office address said that the U.S. would hold Iran accountable. What does accountable mean?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: Well, what you’ve seen already, Margaret is very- a very clear message from the President, backed up by the deployment of two of our largest aircraft carrier battle groups, to make sure that it’s clear. No one should take advantage of this moment to escalate to further attacks on Israel or for that matter attacks on us, on our personnel. And this is not by way of, in terms of what we’re doing by provocation, it’s designed to deter, designed to make clear that no one should use this moment in any way to escalate. No one wants a second front, a third front, and at the same time, we want to make sure that our own people in the region, wherever they are, are safe and protected, and that we’re in a place as we are to respond decisively if we need to. The President’s been clear about that, both in what he said and in what we’re doing.

MARGARET BRENNAN: We’ll stay tuned. In terms of what’s happening in Gaza. I know there are an estimated 500-600 Americans there. There are only two ways out. One is through the Rafah gate to Egypt. It does not appear any Americans have made it out that way. There’s also another Erez Crossing into Israel. Is there any chance Israel lets some of those Americans out or Egypt allows some of those Americans in?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: We have- you’re exactly right. We have several hundred Americans and other nationalities, other civilians from- from other countries who want to leave Gaza. We’ve had people come to Rafah, the crossing with Egypt. And to date, at least, Hamas has blocked them from leaving, showing once again, its total disregard for civilians of any kind who are- who are stuck in Gaza. This is something that we’re working, again, virtually every single day. We have in the- right now in the region on the ground, one of our most experienced diplomats, David Satterfield, working with the different governments concerned with- with Israel, with Egypt, to make sure that we’re ready to be able to get people out, assuming Hamas lets them move. So really, the ball is in Hamas’ court, in terms of letting people who want to leave, civilians from third countries including Americans get out of Gaza.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Just to be clear, you’re saying Hamas is preventing Americans from leaving Gaza?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: That’s correct.

MARGARET BRENNAN: And there are no US personnel who are able to help on the ground?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: We have U.S. personnel on the other side of the border in Egypt, consular personnel who can immediately help and assist those Americans who want to leave. We’re working this very, very actively every day, including with partners who may have influenced connections with Hamas that we don’t have, to make sure that people can get out. So we’re tracking this. We want to make sure it happens.

MARGARET BRENNAN: In terms of the Americans who are believed to be unaccounted for or potentially hostages. Does Hamas have all of them or do other militant groups have them?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: Look, you’ll understand I can’t speak to the – to the details of this. We’ve been engaged from virtually the first day of this. I don’t want to be clear when it was clear that Hamas had taken men, women, young children, elderly people hostage, including Americans. It was really gratifying. Yesterday, I got a chance to speak to the two Americans, the mother, daughter, Judith and Natalie Raanan, who were released. I spoke to them. We are very appreciative of the assistance that we got from the Government of Qatar, to make sure that they could get out and now soon be reunited with their families. We’re hopeful that- that others follow. It is imperative that every single hostage, every single hostage of whatever nationality, be released immediately and without condition.

MARGARET BRENNAN: But the Israeli invasion appears imminent. Have you asked the Israeli government to delay in order to give you more time to broker the release of these hostages?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: First, step back for a second, because it’s important to remember what happened. It’s incredible how quickly that gets lost because it was only a couple of weeks ago that Hamas invaded Israel with its terrorist fighters and slaughtered – and I use that- that word very deliberately- slaughtered so many people again, men, women, young children, babies, old people, you name it. And they continue to rain rockets down on Israel when I was there. A few days ago, we were in the bomb – we were- we had to take shelter a couple of times, because of incoming rockets from Hamas. So, my point is this, no country- no country can be expected to tolerate this, to live with this. And as we said, from the start, Israel has both the the right and even the obligation, not only to defend itself, but to try to make sure that, to the best of its ability, this can’t happen again. So, we talked to the Israelis about what they’re- what they’re planning. We give them our best advice. It’s important, as we said, not only what they do, but how they do it, particularly when it comes to making sure that civilians are as protected as they possibly can be in this crossfire of Hamas’ making. We want to make sure that humanitarian assistance gets in and both countries care deeply about the- the hostages. There are many, many Israelis who are hostage and of course, hostages from other nationalities. So we’re working to do everything we can, using whatever levers, partnerships, relationships, we have to get them out. Israel is doing the same. But in terms of what we’re talking to Israel about in their- with regard to their military operations, it really is focused on both how they do it, and how best to achieve the results that they seek.

MARGARET BRENNAN: So, let’s talk about how they do it. You’re right to lay out just how absolutely horrific that attack was two weeks ago. Turning the page to what has happened during the following two weeks, UNICEF says 1,524 children have been killed in the Gaza Strip during these bombings. Why isn’t the US calling for at least a temporary ceasefire?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: First, Margaret, when I hear the stories, when I see the pictures of young children, who have lost their lives in this conflict of Hamas’ making- whoever they are, wherever they are, whether they’re Palestinians, whether they’re Israelis, whether they’re- they’re Jews or Muslims. It hits me, and I know it hits virtually everyone right in the heart. And that’s why it’s so important to do everything possible to protect them, and why it’s so important to do everything possible to get assistance to those who need it. Food, medicine, water-

MARGARET BRENNAN: So why not ask for at least a temporary pause in the bombing–

SECRETARY BLINKEN:

We’ve seen-

MARGARET BRENNAN: — as was proposed at the UN this week?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: We’ve seen first of all that, in order to get assistance in. We’ve had, we’ve had that happen. And you saw the first 20 trucks go in yesterday, I expect more will follow today and the day after that. We want to make sure that we have sustained delivery of food, medicine, water, the things that people need. At the same time, I said something a minute ago that- that we have to- we have to remember. Israel has to do everything it can to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Freezing things in place where they are now would allow Hamas to remain where it is and to repeat what it’s done sometime in the future. No country could accept that.

MARGARET BRENNAN: One of my colleagues, who is on the ground in Israel and has traveled to the West Bank conducted an interview with Mr. Mustafa Barghouti, a Palestinian politician, I’m sure, you know. He said he doesn’t understand why President Biden, when he was in Israel, did not say “enough is enough. You wanted to respond and you responded, you killed 4,000 Palestinians. Stop.” Instead, you’re encouraging a ground invasion. How do you respond to “enough is enough?”

SECRETARY BLINKEN: “Enough is enough” should have been the case with- with Hamas two weeks ago. It would be good to hear the entire world speaking clearly, and with one voice, about the actions that Hamas took, about the slaughter of people, about the fact that that should be absolutely intolerable, unacceptable to anyone, anywhere, any country, any people. Second, as I said, for- for a country to not only not respond- it’s not about responding. It’s not about retaliating. It’s about defending Israel from these ongoing attacks. As I said, the rockets continue to this day. And it’s about taking the steps necessary to try to make sure, to the best of Israel’s ability, that this can’t happen again. Now, as we said, very clearly, the President’s been very clear about this- how Israel does that matters. Making sure that to the greatest extent possible civilians are protected. Civilians are deliberately put in the crossfire by Hamas. Hamas undertook the slaughter. It knew Israel would have to respond and yet all of its people, its senior leaders, its weapons, its tunnels, all are co-located in residential buildings. They’re buried underneath hospitals and schools. It knew that in Israel’s necessary response, civilians would be caught in that crossfire. It’s the last thing we want to see. It’s imperative that every step be taken to protect them. But what does anyone expect Israel to do? It can’t allow the situation to continue. No country can live like that. So that’s what’s- I think, in the minds of Israelis right now. Again, we’re speaking to them, as I said, about how they do it, and also how they can best achieve the results that they seek.

MARGARET BRENNAN: In terms of US interests in the region, one of America’s closest allies, the King of Jordan, gave an impassioned speech saying “Palestinian lives seem to matter less than Israeli ones. Our lives matter less than other lives, the application of international law is optional and human rights appear to have boundaries based on races and religions.” That’s a warning from one of America’s closest friends in the region, that this is a dangerous message to be sending and it could have blowback. Are you concerned?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: Margaret, every life- Palestinian, Israeli, Jewish, Muslim, Arab, every life has equal worth. When I see the reports, when I see the photographs, when I hear the stories of young children, Palestinian children, who’ve been killed or injured, it hits me right in the gut too. Just as it does, when I hear- when I see these other stories, wherever it is. We had, here in our own country, a little boy, six-years-old, Wadea, in Chicago, who was viciously murdered, apparently, because he was Palestinian American. A little boy, six-years-old, didn’t do anything to anyone. I feel that strongly across the board, no matter where it is. But this is on Hamas. And the fact is, Hamas doesn’t represent the Palestinian people. It doesn’t represent their just cause, it doesn’t represent their aspiration, and legitimate aspiration for a state of their own. On the contrary, it does everything to make life worse, and more miserable for–

MARGARET BRENNAN: Does the US assess that it is actually possible for Israel to destroy both Hamas as an entity and its ideology. Is it actually a military possibility?

SECRETARY BLINKEN: So, you make a very good point, Margaret. And I think it’s important to focus on that, too. There’s the military aspect of what Israel needs to do and try it- and try to make sure this doesn’t happen again. But you’re exactly right. The best way, the only way to defeat an ideology, no matter how warped, and the case of Hamas, it’s about as warped as it possibly can be, is to make sure that there is a better, a clearer alternative for people. And that alternative is very clear. And it’s very stark. We have on the one hand, countries throughout the region who want to come together, to integrate, to normalize relations, and to lift up the rights of the Palestinian people, to be able to have a future where they work together, go to school together, do business together, travel to each other’s countries. That’s one vision. The other vision is the vision that Hamas has: death, destruction, nihilism, darkness. Now, the responsibility that those of us who believe in the first vision have is to do everything possible to make it real, so that people not only see it, but they can achieve it. That’s exactly what we were working on before this horrific attack on October 7th. And that’s the vision that we need to get back to. But at the same time, we also have to deal with the fact that Hamas represents an active, ongoing threat, and that has to be dealt with too.

MARGARET BRENNAN: Mr. Secretary, thank you for your time this morning.

SECRETARY BLINKEN: Thanks, Margaret.

More Firepower – Defense Secretary Austin Announces Additional Carrier Strike Group, THAAD and Patriot Battalions Along with Expanded Prepare to Deploy Orders

Posted originally on the CTH on October 21, 2023 | Sundance

I’m not going to narrate against this Pentagon announcement {HEREtoday, I’m just going to share.

Something is happening that is beyond just Israel going into Gaza.

[Defense Dept] – Following detailed discussions with President Biden on recent escalations by Iran and its proxy forces across the Middle East Region, today I directed a series of additional steps to further strengthen the Department of Defense posture in the region. These steps will bolster regional deterrence efforts, increase force protection for U.S. forces in the region, and assist in the defense of Israel.

First, I redirected the movement of the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group to the Central Command area of responsibility. This carrier strike group is in addition to the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group, which is currently operating in the Eastern Mediterranean Sea. It will further increase our force posture and strengthen our capabilities and ability to respond to a range of contingencies.

I have also activated the deployment of a Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) battery as well as additional Patriot battalions to locations throughout the region to increase force protection for U.S. forces.

Finally, I have placed an additional number of forces on prepare to deploy orders as part of prudent contingency planning, to increase their readiness and ability to quickly respond as required.

I will continue to assess our force posture requirements in the region and consider deploying additional capabilities as necessary. (link)

The USS Carney traveled through the Suez Canal Wednesday and immediately intercepted 4 cruise missiles and 11 drones from an unknown origin with an unknown destination. {Go Deep}  The Chinese navy was/is conducting exercises with the Omani navy.  “The Chinese warships left Muscat for an unspecified location on Saturday after participating in an exercise with the Omani navy” {LINK}

Has the Rule of Law Collapsed in Germany?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Germany Re-Posted Oct 21, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

I want to explain an incident when I was doing a world tour for the Forecaster Movie. In Europe, there would be a question-and-answer period after the film concluded. I was in Frankfurt, and a woman stood up and said this is what was wrong with America. It always protected the bankers. She was stunned at how they could keep me in prison on civil contempt with trial and no defined charges at all. She said this was not the first example of the corrupt American legal system.

Then, a German lawyer stood up and corrected her. He said in Germany, what the US did to me, they do all the time to Germans.

Reiner Fuellmich, is an attorney and international freedom advocate. He has taken a major step to investigate the criminal activity of politicians in COVID. Because Germany did not charge him, they would have to put on a case and extradite him back to Germany. They illegally kidnapped him from Mexico, which is a complete violation of international law.

This is a warning to everyone. The rule of law has completely collapsed. Nothing matters anymore. These governments are simply desperate because they know they are losing power. Just as the US imposed sanctions on Russia, that divided the world economy and sent a warning to every other nation that if they do not do as the United States Neocons demand, they too will be removed from the global financial system. The ramifications now have many preparing alternatives to this insane tyranny.

There is nothing we can do. Just as Communism collapsed from its own weight, the West will suffer the same fate by 2032. This is NOT my wish nor my opinion. Our computer’s forecast has been spot on when it comes to its geopolitical forecasts for many years.

White House Asks Congress for $106 Billion – $61 Billion for Ukraine, $14 Billion for Israel, $9 Billion for Gaza and Humanitarian Relief

Posted originally on the CTH on October 20, 2023 | Sundance

The people behind Joe Biden have put together a single $106 billion request of financial support intended to force Congress to fund the priorities of the Obama/Biden U.S. foreign policy.

The supplemental appropriations request [SEE HERE] also includes funds to support the continued flow of illegal aliens at the southern border.

WASHINGTON – […] All told, the request includes $61.4 billion for Ukraine, including $44.4 billion to provide Department of Defense equipment for the country, to replenish weapons stocks and to continue providing other military support. The administration is also asking for $14.3 billion for Israel and $9.15 billion for the State Department to provide humanitarian assistance to Ukraine, Israel and Gaza.

[…] In addition to the funds for the two wars, the White House is also asking Congress for $13.6 billion to address migration at the southern border. That includes $6.4 billion for border operations, such as holding facilities, $3.1 billion for additional border agents, $1.4 billion for migrant shelters and services and $1.2 billion to counter fentanyl. US Provokes China – Russia’s Alliance with China Grow Stronger

Armstrong Economicsa Blog/War Re-Posted Oct 20, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

China has attempted to remain neutral but the Neocons won’t allow that to happen. China is enjoying its recent economic boom and building strategic partnerships through trade and international relations. China has grown to become a global power and will become the next financial capital of the world when all is said and done. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever expect personally that the West would be the aggressor. Now I can see Neocons, who I even personally have known, are really in control of the Biden Administration. The Pentagon released the video above, with CBS News claiming Chinese fighter jets were harassing US planes in international airspace.

Were the planes flying by the coast of California or Hawaii? No. US warplanes were flying near the Taiwan Strait once again. China has repeatedly warned America not to interfere in its One China policy with Taiwan. The media spins the situation as if the government actually cares about the people of Taiwan. The truth of the matter is that the Neocons want to play war games with our tax dollars and do not like China’s recent success or status as an economic powerhouse.

China will eventually be pushed to the brink and will have no alternative but to engage in war. The Pentagon said that US and Chinese fighter planes have come in close contact 180 times since 2021, surpassing the number of encounters of the past decade. China now has the ability to push back and knows the West’s resources are stretched thin.

Putin visited Xi this week in Beijing where he was greeted as a guest of honor. Syria, Saudi Arabia, and Iran are heavily backed by Russia and China, among other Middle Eastern nations. The BRICS partnership has grown so strong that no one is dependent on Western energy, and eventually, no one will be dependent on Western trade or debt. They no longer need to use the currency of their adversary. China is attempting to remain neutral in both the Israel-Palestine and Russia-Ukraine wars, but Taiwan is where they draw the line.

As a Senator, Joe Biden scoffed at the idea of a China-Russia alliance in the event of NATO encroaching on Eastern Europe. Take a look at the video above from 1997 — yes, that was Joe Biden before his health declined to the point where he can hardly speak or step off a stage. Putin was Yeltsin’s deputy-in-chief at this time of this speech, and Bill Clinton was the president of the US. Baltic states were lining up to join NATO back then, which threatened Russia’s national security. Biden insisted that Russia would have no alternative but “to look West.” This was one of the original plans to infiltrate Russia and install a pro-Western leader.

“Yes, we see that some people consider it an attempt by the People’s Republic of China to put someone under its thumb, but we see otherwise. We just see a desire for cooperation,” Putin stated. Last year, China and Russia signed a “no limits” partnership in the wake of the war in Ukraine. They are teaming up against Western aggression, it is not the other way around. All of the players are aligning and preparing for the inevitable.

Travelers will need Authorization to Enter the EU in 2024

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Oct 20, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

Be prepared as the freedom of movement will begin to decline as we move toward 2032. Starting in 2024, those traveling to Europe will need to apply for authorization through the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) before their visit. The new regulations are called the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS). When the system launches in early 2024, it will require ALL visitors who currently travel to Europe visa-free, such as citizens from the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, to apply for travel authorization and receive approval prior to their departure.

The authorization is not exactly a visa and does not require visa-like obligations to travel, the European Commission claims. The goal of ETIAS is to increase security within the EU as they can no longer identify the enemy. America and others have compromised their borders and there are many with ill will amongst us. They claim the length of time that Americans will be able to spend in Europe as a tourist is not changing, but how will anyone be able to travel outside their respective country during an ongoing global conflict? So US passport holders are allowed to stay up to 90 days within a 180-day period, but for any stay longer than 90 days, a special visa is required.

If you travel outside of your respective country, depending on where you live, you’re on your own. Biden has abandoned American naturals in Israel and Palestine, forcing those in Israel to take out a loan merely to travel to a neighboring country. Restrictions are rarely removed once implemented as the US saw after the Patriot Act was introduced post-9/11. Our ability to travel and move freely throughout nations is coming to a halt.

My Take on Obama/Biden Long Game with Israeli War – 8:00pm Biden Speech

Posted originally on the CTH on October 19, 2023 | Sundance

In advance of Biden’s national address, here’s my take on the policy agenda and what they won’t say.

Obama/Biden et al, want a Two State solution for Israel and the Palestinians.  I believe all efforts are underway to exploit the 10/7/23 terrorist attack to advance that agenda.  Netanyahu is being carefully painted into a position where the survival of Israel will be contingent upon accepting this two-state solution, which essentially means -in the long picture- the elimination of the Israeli state.

Biden will give the outward face of complete support toward Israel; however, the background work will be to protect Gaza, and thereby Hamas, and controllably expand -if needed- the regional conflict, such that a two-state solution becomes the only viable option for the survival of Israel.  Efforts by Hamas, Hezbollah, the Muslim Brotherhood and by extension Iran, will appear to be confronted by Biden, but only insofar as the need for USA military support becomes more important and that process paints Netanyahu into a corner.

If I’m right, things are going to get really ugly/sketchy as Biden walks this ridiculous tightrope, and King Abdullah, President al-Sisi and MbS can see it coming.  FUBAR. Pray for the nation state of Israel.  Remember, with disposable one-term Biden in the White House, team Obama have no downside.

Something Sketchy – Pentagon Claims U.S. Destroyer in Red Sea Intercepted and Shot Down 3 Missiles and 8 Drones Launched from Yemen to Target Israel

Posted originally on the CTH on October 19, 2023 | Sundance

Something about this story just doesn’t pass the proverbial sniff test.

It is 1,300 straight line miles from Yemen to Israel; add in the Red Sea path claimed, and you add another approximately 200 miles.  So, the claim is around 1,500 +/- miles.

The Raytheon built Tomahawk cruise missile, with GPS enabling, some of the most advanced cruise missile tech in the world, has a max targeting distance of 1,000 miles [LINK].  How the hell did Yemen get missiles and drones capable of flying 1,500 targeted miles?

Additionally, if Yemen had this level of missile technology available, the Houthi rebels would have flown them at Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, over the past decade during their war.

Now that I have shared that context, look carefully at how the statements are worded (emphasis mine).

(VIA ABC) – The USS Carney, a Navy destroyer in the Red Sea, on Thursday shot down multiple missiles launched by Iranian-backed Houthis in Yemen that the Pentagon said were potentially headed toward targets in Israel.

The ship intercepted three land attack cruise missiles and about eight drones, Pentagon spokesman Brig. Gen. Pat Ryder said at a press briefing.

The preliminary U.S. assessment was that the USS Carney was not the target of any of the Houthi missiles or drones.

Information about the engagements was still being processed, Ryder said. “We cannot say for certain what these missiles and drones were targeting but they were launched from Yemen heading north along the Red Sea potentially to targets in Israel.

It’s unclear from where the Houthi militia’s missiles were fired but they were headed in a northerly direction, an official said.

The incident occurred during the early evening hours Thursday local time and the missiles were taken down over water, not land, the Pentagon said.

The missiles fired by the Houthis were engaged by SM2 missiles carried aboard the USS Carney, an official said. (read more)

[Source]

On the afternoon before pudding brain gives his national address on the Israeli war, the Pentagon is reporting on a fleet of missiles and drones, eleven in total, flying from Yemen to Israel, thereby exceeding the capacity of U.S. Tomahawk cruise missile systems by 50%.    You buying this?

…Oh, AND they collectively would have flown over Egypt to arrive in Israel if not intercepted.

Sorry, I don’t mean to sound like a conspiracy nut, but this just doesn’t add up.  This sounds like the seeds of an expanded war narrative to me.

In combination with the ‘couched’ Pentagon statement, Suspicious Cat remains, well, suspicious.

Soros Open Society Behind the Left’s Support for Hamas

Armstrong Economics Blog/Corruption Re-Posted Oct 19, 2023 by Martin Armstrong

The far left in America is supporting Hamas, a terrorist organization. They make it clear that they are supporting Hamas and not merely the innocent civilians of Palestine. Groups like Black Lives Matter have posted images of paragliders, which would have been akin to someone posting a plane crashing into a building shortly after 9/11. Then we have Joe Biden coming out and celebrating the birthday of the man whose death began Black Lives Matter while also pledging support for Israel.

One of the most powerful puppeteers on the left supports Hamas and global terrorism – George Soros. Yes, this is the man who openly said on “60 Minutes” that he felt no remorse for helping the Nazis confiscate the Jew’s belongings before sending them to concentration camps. George handed the power down to his son Alex who has become embedded in the conflict.

Alex was one of many who signed a letter to President Biden urging him to prevent Netanyahu’s judicial renovation. “Sadly, we must acknowledge that warnings from the United States did not ultimately prevent the Israeli government from acting on this agenda,” the letter stated, later urging Biden to appoint a new ambassador to Israel. The same letter also urged Biden to reopen the US consulate in Jerusalem to work with the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank. “Americans who care about Israel are horrified to see the government assault on the state’s democratic norms and institutions,” Alex Soros stated.

The Soros family is playing both sides. Alex Soros penned an op-ed for CNN in July, one month before his letter to Biden, entitled “Opinion: President Biden has taken a vital step to counter antisemitism in America.” He complains that the likes of Donald Trump and Elon Musk criticized his father. The article states that Jewish Americans were fighting antisemitism, and that Israel’s treatment of Palestine was one of the reasons. “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s government has adopted increasingly aggressive and hostile policies towards its Arab population, elevating extremists to cabinet rank, authorizing new settlements in the occupied West Bank and proposing dramatic new curbs on the independence of the judiciary — a stance that drew criticism from Israel’s traditional allies and propelled hundreds of thousands of protesters into the streets,” Alex Soros wrote.

Remember the Cloward-Piven strategy of creating civil unrest to create a regime change. “It is essential that the tools used to combat antisemitism cannot be repurposed to target academics, activists, students and advocacy groups that voice support for Palestinian human rights and restrict the free speech and policy disagreements that are at the very heart of an open society,” he continued. Now we see this very thing unfolding in America as leftist students and advocacy groups, all funded by the Open Society, firmly support Hamas.
