Peace Talks Possible Between Russia and Ukraine, As Magnificently Defiant Zelenskyy Stands Atop The Alamo of Kyiv Taking Selfies

The propaganda pouring out of Ukraine from the U.S. State Department and the taxpayer funded Non-Governmental Organizations (NGO’s) is, in a modern scale, historic.

In their collective effort to make #Ukraine the modern image of The Alamo (where the last stand to defend all mankind is taking place), the corporate media, state dept and NGO’s are utilizing their Hollywood directed #BringBackOurGirls and #KonySurrender techniques in the extreme.

Pay no attention to the absence of any war fighting actually taking place, meaning the lack of actual fighting shooting and stuff in a modern era where everyone has cell phone cameras, and instead focus your attention to the ‘story telling.’

After all, the White House was very clear that the winner of this contest to defend all humanity from the Russian villain Vladimir Putin, would depend on who could tell a “better story.”

Thus, you do not need to see shooting or actual war type stuff.  Instead, the contest to save the planet is boiled down to who can take a better selfie.

As Deputy National Security Advisor Daleep Singh stated last week, the U.S. government has rallied the collective west to defeat Russia using the cultural weapon of social likeability.   Vladimir Putin is getting pummeled.

It’s all a grand pantomime folks.  All of it.  Volodymyr Zelenskyy is the newest Michael Avenatti.

Ukraine has been the playground for the U.S. State Dept, NGO’s, intelligence schemes and DC political grift for well over a decade.  You know it, because it has been well documented.  Yet suddenly, the same Ukraine is the modern Alamo in the battle to save all mankind. Oh, okay, and we’re supposed to forget the first stuff.

If you’re wondering, why has it taken the Russia army four days to travel 30 miles?   You must believe it is, because Ukrainians with their free Kalashnikov rifles and Molotov cocktails have beaten back the onslaught of heavily mechanized armored tank divisions.   You must believe it, because you are being told by the most trusted names in news.

If you don’t believe it… and if you think it all just seems odd as Ukrainian politicians are taking selfies amid this monumental military encounter…   well, you must be a Russian agent, or something.

Comrades, just wait until tomorrow, when Russia will bomb the baby formula factories, then perhaps you will take it seriously.  How can you not feel sympathy for the babies, the mothers, teachers, crying on the television as they tell stories about saving their children from the scourge of the artillery fire that must be heard in the ever familiar “off in the distance.”

It’s weird how no journalist will actually go to that “distant” place they all talk about.  Alas, I digress….

WASHINGTON DC – Multiple media organizations are reporting that Ukraine and Russia will hold peace talks on the border of Ukraine and Belarus.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky confirmed to Sky News that the two sides would hold the talks on the border of Ukraine and Belarus, where some of the Russian troops invading his country had been held.

Zelensky had refused to agree to an earlier request for talks in Belarus, arguing it was not neutral territory.

Sunday was the fourth day of the Russian invasion of Ukraine, which has been slowed by fierce resistance from Ukrainian troops and private citizens.

Several cities including the capitol of Kyiv have been bombarded by Russia, and there has additionally been fighting in the streets.

Sky News, referring to a statement from Zelensky’s office, said the two delegations will meet “without preconditions” near the Pripyat River. (read more)

Bottom line folks… the Russia -vs- Ukraine crisis is cover for the outcomes of Joe Biden’s energy policy, so that American voters do not attach $10/gal gasoline to his climate change agenda, and instead apportion the blame to Russia and Vladimir Putin.

Again, “never let a crisis go to waste,” and if you can’t find the crisis to use, make one.

Is Western Press Egging Putin to Fully Invade Ukraine?

Armstrong Economics Blog/Russia Re-Posted Feb 27, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

One must wonder if the West is intentionally trying to create a full-scale European war. “Putin is furious, he thought that the whole war would be easy and everything would be done in 1-4 days,” tweeted Riho Terras, who is also the former defense chief of NATO member Estonia. They are also claiming that Putin has yet to take any major city. But from the outset, Putin’s government has made it very clear that, unlike the United States, it has no plans on occupying Ukraine. The only question for Putin is to absorb Donetsk and the Luhansk People’s Republics into Russia or to leave them as independent republics. Pentagon sources say Putin has invaded with only 30% of his troops that were on the border. If he truly wanted to crush Ukraine would send them all in.

The Western Press appears to be pretending that Putin is losing the war when in fact his invasion force is NOT overwhelming. If Putin was really losing, he would send in the entire force for he would NEVER publicly allow Ukraine to defeat Russia. Let’s get real here. Stop the total BS. The danger here is that Germany just may have expanded the war to all of Europe as the US was breaking its neutrality shipping arms secretly to Britain on passage ships – i.e. Lusitania. The German Chancellor Olaf Scholz just announced Saturday that Germany will provide anti-tank weapons and surface-to-air missiles to Ukraine. In matters of war, that now justifies Russia declaring war on Germany since this is now a formal declaration against Russia by Germany.

They have also avoided mentioning the Minsk Agreement which was supposed to have been brokered by France and Germany since 2014. They are only reporting Western propaganda and not the truth about anything. So far Putin has invaded Ukraine with less than half of his forces. What they are twisting in their reporting is that Putin may not be trying to conquer Ukraine – just to demilitarize as he said. If that is the case, then other than eliminating the government in Kyiv, he does not need to take all the cities. By reporting that Putin is losing, it seems more than they are egging him on to outright destroy Ukraine and occupy it.

The open question remains, was Zelensky misled by the West? Back in early December, the Biden pledged military support to Ukraine in event of a Russian invasion. Did Biden deliberately promise military support so that Zelensky would not yield on the Minsk Agreement and allow the Donetsk and the Luhansk to be independent republics?

Ukraine also accounts for nearly 30% of global wheat exports and 20% of corn exports. This is not being taken into consideration going forward. The rumor circulating around is that the EU wanted this war to justify cutting off the gas from Russia and to force the Green Agenda to end Fossil Fuels. This appears to be escalating into April near-term and may not reach a major expansion until 2023 when we also have a Yearly Panic Cycle in Gold.

The future does not look so calm. The United States, European Union, and the United Kingdom on Saturday agreed to block “selected’ Russian banks from the SWIFT global financial messaging system and to impose ”restrictive measures” on its central bank in retaliation for its invasion of Ukraine. They are not removing Russia entirely from SWIFT, but all they are now doing is inviting China and Russia to ban together. It has appeared ever since Hillary fabricated the Russian/Trump Conspiracy, the press has done nothing but demonizes Russia and 75% of Democrats view Russia as the enemy. That is very dangerous for justifying war.

Why is Putin Holding Back?

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Feb 27, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

QUESTION: Hi,
I speak Polish. On Twitter, one Polish military guy remarked that on all those videos he can not see the most modern Russian equipment. This was unexpected as you would anticipate otherwise considering the character of rapid attack. Is Putin planning more than the Ukraine invasion? Or did he not expect the dogged resistance?

PP

ANSWER: It does not appear that Putin has sent in his hard-core troops. Only about 30% were sent into Ukraine. Nato has warned that if there is an attack on a NATO country, then they must respond. This seems to be a concern as to why he has committed so few troops to Ukraine why the major forces stand ready on the borders. Lost in all of this is the fact that Putin has also made a direct threat to Europe that if Sweden and Finland join NATO there will be “detrimental military and political consequences.” He has NOT committed the strategic forces to Ukraine so all the gloating by the Western Press seems to be fools trying to impress idiots. Russia & China combined will defeat the West. Someone needs to be muzzled.

Well, Gates will be happy. He will achieve his dream – depopulation of the world!

Neil Oliver, We Watch Russia Through the Barred Windows of Our Own Despotism

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 26, 2022 | Sundance | 53 Comments

Neil Oliver delivers his remarks this weekend expressing genuine sympathy for the people in Ukraine yet distrusting the constant bombardment by those demanding we pay attention to it.

We watch Russia, but after all our own leaders have shown us in the past two-years, amid their COVID authorized lusts for power, it is a wide-open and wary eye our leaders are trying to move.  WATCH:

A wounded water buffalo was spotted trying to give birth on the dangerous Serengeti Plain, CNN International reports if Russia had not annexed Crimea, it wouldn’t have happened.  Early tomorrow morning, a man in Wisconsin will miss his bus, because the battery in his alarm clock ran out; if only Putin had not disrupted the global supply chain these issues would not be happening.

The drawbridge near Baton Rouge Louisiana was stuck yesterday – MSNBC angrily confirms Putin caused it.  In New York, a once joyful fifth grade teacher’s chalk broke in half right when she was about to use it on the blackboard; Margaret Brennan points the glare at Ukraine.

If the stock market climbs, or falls, or stays the same, we can be certain that Moscow had something to do with it.

When the planes arrive/depart typically late, CBS finds a way to make NATO responsible for it – if the sanctions had only come sooner.

When the sun rises today, it will only be because President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spent all night on his knees knitting sweaters for homeless kittens while fending off Russian special forces and making phone calls to the European commission.  George Stephanopoulos has all the details.

Everything is Vladimir Putin’s fault, says the PBS reporter standing at the base of the Statue of Liberty to catch her tears, because it was all just so avoidable.

And… somewhere in the distance Jacinda Ardern, Justin Trudeau, Emmanuel Macron, Boris Johnson and Ron Klain are on a zoom call smiling with Klaus Schwab.

Very Disturbing, Joe Biden Claims Inflation Is an Imaginary American Psychosis That Does Not Exist in Reality

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 26, 2022 | Sundance | 281 Comments

There is so much that’s disturbing about this interview, it is very difficult to adequately contextualize the danger we are facing as a nation.

It’s an easy disposable line to say Joe Biden is clueless about things. He stumbles with cognitive thought, has trouble putting thoughts into understandable sentence structures using words, makes frequent gaffes and generally struggles to communicate issues that are simple and not complex.  When the issues are complex, the cognitive impairment gets worse.  These are easy truths to hit him with…

However, there’s a more concerning aspect once you listen to how genuinely he has been led to believe in things that are fundamentally false. That’s where the danger comes from.  In this prompted segment on COVID and the economy, Joe Biden references a perspective, a belief in current events, that has been seeded into his brain by Surgeon General Vivek Murthy.

I know it’s hard to listen to him, but in this segment pay close attention.  Joe Biden believes, really believes, that a COVID induced mental psychosis is responsible for people convincing themselves that prices have gone up, that inflation is extreme, and that economic pain is real.

He has been told that inflation does not exist, so he believes inflation is imaginary. He is reconciling the difference between what he is told to believe and the reality that everyone lives, by accepting an explanation from his advisors – that working class people are suffering from psychosis.  WATCH (8:54):

Transfer that reference into the policy from his office, and things become clear.  Those driving the economic policy know they are creating chaos; however, they are telling Joe Biden the economic chaos does not exist.  Without a reference for the damage his office is responsible for creating, more intentionally chaotic economic policy comes forth.

The same context applies to foreign policy, monetary policy, regulatory policy, economic policy, energy policy, education policy etc.  Scary stuff.

EU and NATO Remove Selected Russian Banks From SWIFT Financial Exchange

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 26, 2022 | Sundance | 220 Comments

The key word in this release is “selected“.  I would guess that any bank involved in state energy sales, and/or the bank of any energy company involved in the direct sales of Russian oil and gas, are not included.

Joint statement from NATO, EU Commission and White House:

WHITE HOUSE – […] As Russian forces unleash their assault on Kyiv and other Ukrainian cities, we are resolved to continue imposing costs on Russia that will further isolate Russia from the international financial system and our economies. We will implement these measures within the coming days.

Specifically, we commit to undertake the following measures:

First, we commit to ensuring that selected Russian banks are removed from the SWIFT messaging system. This will ensure that these banks are disconnected from the international financial system and harm their ability to operate globally.

Second, we commit to imposing restrictive measures that will prevent the Russian Central Bank from deploying its international reserves in ways that undermine the impact of our sanctions.

Third, we commit to acting against the people and entities who facilitate the war in Ukraine and the harmful activities of the Russian government. Specifically, we commit to taking measures to limit the sale of citizenship—so called golden passports—that let wealthy Russians connected to the Russian government become citizens of our countries and gain access to our financial systems.

Fourth, we commit to launching this coming week a transatlantic task force that will ensure the effective implementation of our financial sanctions by identifying and freezing the assets of sanctioned individuals and companies that exist within our jurisdictions. As a part of this effort we are committed to employing sanctions and other financial and enforcement measures on additional Russian officials and elites close to the Russian government, as well as their families, and their enablers to identify and freeze the assets they hold in our jurisdictions. We will also engage other governments and work to detect and disrupt the movement of ill-gotten gains, and to deny these individuals the ability to hide their assets in jurisdictions across the world.

Finally, we will step up or coordination against disinformation and other forms of hybrid warfare.

We stand with the Ukrainian people in this dark hour. Even beyond the measures we are announcing today, we are prepared to take further measures to hold Russia to account for its attack on Ukraine. (read more)

The First Casualty of War Is the Truth – The Current Western Propaganda for Ukraine Is Epic in Scale

Posted originally on the conservative tree house on February 26, 2022 | Sundance | 653 Comments

When we shared yesterday that all interested observers should be very wary of the information from media sources around Ukraine, there was a reason for that.  Question everything. Take nothing at face value.

If you have never experienced the propaganda push surrounding war, the totality of the inbound bullsh*t can be destabilizing, overwhelming and unnerving.  It’s one of the reasons why CTH doesn’t share immediate information.  Everyone has an agenda.

Everything we are seeing in U.S. media surrounding U.S. interests in Ukraine is a massive propaganda operation with the headquarters in the U.S. State Department and U.S. intelligence community.  The sense of sympathy you are feeling is part of an intentionally manipulative operation from within this DC matrix.

The images, pictures, videos, speeches, soundbites and the cinematography broadcast by U.S. corporate media are all purposefully intended to create a very specific outlook within the American people toward the issues in Ukraine.  The leftist United Nations, and the leftist U.S State Dept, will work together on this just like they have done in the prior examples (Ukraine 1.0, Libya, Egypt, etc.).

It is very easy to become a victim of psychological warfare intended to manipulate our opinions.

The neocons, war promoting agents working on behalf of the UniParty and the collective globalist interests, are all united in their effort.

Unfortunately, almost everything being transmitted from corporate news into our psyche is part of a battle for your mind.  The goal is to create a self-fulfilling prophecy.

This is why people who are familiar with these types of tactics often tap-out when the drumbeats get loudest.

{SEE HERE}

The White House, which means the total globalist effort, tipped their hand earlier last week when they defined “strategic power” and their outlook toward winning the battle for the mind.  Everything is about writing a script, creating a narrative, building a “better story,” where the globalists are the heroes.   In essence, the “strategic power” battle is for your mind…

…”Ultimately, the goal of our sanctions is to make this a strategic failure for Russia; and let’s define a little bit of what that means. Strategic success in the 21st century is not about a physical land grab of territory; that’s what Putin has done.

In this century, strategic power is increasingly measured and exercised by economic strength, by technological sophistication and your story – who you are, what your values are; can you attract ideas and talent and goodwill? And on each of those measures, this will be a failure for Russia.”

Everything in modern warfare is storytelling.

Question all of it.

The stories of the 13 guards on an island telling the Russian naval ship to fuck off… yeah, it was a lie (turns out they surrendered). The “Ghost of Kyiv” pilot, the lady with the sunflower seeds etc., now all recognized as lies and propaganda.  And do not expect it to stop, because it won’t. Thus, the nature of warfare for your mind.

Ukraine & Biological Weapons

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Feb 26, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

There are all sorts of rumors that the US has biological weapons installations in Ukraine and Putin has been targeting them for destruction. I have found no truth to this from reliable information. It would also be totally illogical to attack such facilities for that would unleash any such biological weapons that would then also attack Russian troops and carry it home to Russia. You cannot blow up a biological weapons lab. That would unleash who knows what and it could even kill Fauci because he could say – “What lab?

The Other Side in Ukraine

Armstrong Economics Blog/War Re-Posted Feb 26, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

COMMENT FROM Donbass:

I’m definitely not for war. But for 8 years, since 2014, the Ukrainian government has murdered and bombed Russian people there. Especially the cities (Donetsk and Lugansk) that refused to accept the fascist government that the United States and the European Union imposed on you in 2014 with blood and violence.

Russians in Ukraine have since become a banned ethnic group. The Russian language is banned, Russian books were burned and all Russian channels, movies, etc. were shut down and banned.

Even people who demonstrated then were shot and burned alive. Year after year it only got worse and worse.

A few months ago, Zelensky, who is now the pro-Western president of Ukraine, honored and recognized a famous terrorist / fascist as a Ukrainian hero.

Dmytro Kotsyubaylo is a member of the right-wing sector and the goal of his life, which he says himself is to kill as many Russians as possible.

In several interviews, he has said openly that his caged pet wolf he feeds with bones from Russian-speaking children.

About 20 million people are in eastern and southern Ukraine.

Anonymous

REPLY: I can verify that Dmytro Kotsyubaylo did indeed tell the press that he feeds the bones of Russian-speaking children to his pet wolf. Apparently, he said that with a laugh so it may be a joke that does reflect the attitudes of some and these are the neo-Nazis that Putin referred to. These are also the ultra-right-wing in Ukraine who Putin wants to be brought to justice.

Nevertheless, the Western press is so biased against Putin, this is the real problem. Nobody will even listen to the other side. A friend from Eastern Europe who I have known for more than 10 years and who has lived mostly in the West, is disgusted with the one-sided propaganda and just text me that they cannot wait to return to Serbia which is more pro-Russia.

I can confirm that Zelensky enacted the Ukrainian-only language, whereas Yanukovich wanted both languages to be official.

THERE ARE ALWAYS TWO SIDES & WE MUST LISTEN TO BOTH

Australia Could Require 5 Jabs

Armstrong Economics Blog/Vaccine Re-Posted Feb 26, 2022 by Martin Armstrong

Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI) chair Nigel Crawford stated before a Senate committee that he could not guarantee that Australians would not need more vaccines. He pointed to Israel and noted that they are recommending a fourth shot. Australians must already have the full two doses plus the booster to be considered “fully vaccinated.” Anyone over the age of 16 who had their second dose of mRNA will have their fully vaccinated status revoked after six months unless they go through the procedure again.

The government has already purchased millions of doses for 2022 and 2023. It began with a two-dose vaccine and then the third booster shot was introduced. Now many are taking a fourth, and a fifth could become available soon. How many shots are people willing to take before the majority stops complying?
