Dennis Kucinich: “Deep State Trying To Destroy Trump Presidency”…

Appearing tonight on the Sean Hannity TV show on Fox News, former Ohio democrat congressman Dennis Kucinich states he believes the unelected institutional Washington DC based bureaucratic system known as “deep state” is attempting to destroy the presidency of Donald Trump.

People within Deep State institutions attempting to damage President Trump because he is an existential threat to their interests.

Western Media / Libyan Propaganda (Disturbing Video Refutes State Dept)Understanding The UniParty “DEEP STATE” – During the time in 2011 when political warfare over the debt ceiling was beginning to paralyze the business of governance in Washington, the United States government somehow summoned the resources to overthrow Muammar Ghaddafi’s regime in Libya, and, when the instability created by that coup spilled over into Mali, provide overt and covert assistance to French intervention there.

mccain-in-syriaAt a time when there was heated debate about continuing meat inspections and civilian air traffic control because of the budget crisis, our government was somehow able to commit $115 million to keeping a civil war going in Syria and to pay at least £100m to the United Kingdom’s Government Communications Headquarters to buy influence over and access to that country’s intelligence.

Since 2007, two bridges carrying interstate highways have collapsed due to inadequate maintenance of infrastructure, one killing 13 people. During that same period of time, the government spent $1.7 billion constructing a building in Utah that is the size of 17 football fields.

This mammoth structure is intended to allow the National Security Agency to store a yottabyte of information, the largest numerical designator computer scientists have coined. A yottabyte is equal to 500 quintillion pages of text. Yes, they need that much storage to archive every single trace of your electronic life.

Yes, there is another government concealed behind the one that is visible at either end of Pennsylvania Avenue, a hybrid entity of public and private institutions ruling the country according to consistent patterns in season and out, connected to, but only intermittently controlled by, the visible state whose leaders we choose.

fbi-clinton-4-shadow-government

[…] The Deep State does not consist of the entire government. It is a hybrid of national security and law enforcement agencies: the Department of Defense, the Department of State, the Department of Homeland Security, the Central Intelligence Agency and the Justice Department. I also include the Department of the Treasury because of its jurisdiction over financial flows, its enforcement of international sanctions and its organic symbiosis with Wall Street. All these agencies are coordinated by the Executive Office of the President via the National Security Council.

Certain key areas of the judiciary belong to the Deep State, such as the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court, whose actions are mysterious even to most members of Congress. Also included are a handful of vital federal trial courts, such as the Eastern District of Virginia and the Southern District of Manhattan, where sensitive proceedings in national security cases are conducted.

The final government component (and possibly last in precedence among the formal branches of government established by the Constitution) is a kind of rump Congress consisting of the congressional leadership and some (but not all) of the members of the defense and intelligence committees.

The rest of Congress, normally so fractious and partisan, is mostly only intermittently aware of the Deep State and when required usually submits to a few well-chosen words from the State’s emissaries.

[T]he Deep State does not consist only of government agencies. What is euphemistically called “private enterprise” is an integral part of its operations. In a special series in The Washington Post called “Top Secret America,” Dana Priest and William K. Arkin described the scope of the privatized Deep State and the degree to which it has metastasized after the September 11 attacks.

There are now 854,000 contract personnel with top-secret clearances — a number greater than that of top-secret-cleared civilian employees of the government. While they work throughout the country and the world, their heavy concentration in and around the Washington suburbs is unmistakable: Since 9/11, 33 facilities for top-secret intelligence have been built or are under construction. Combined, they occupy the floor space of almost three Pentagons — about 17 million square feet.

Seventy percent of the intelligence community’s budget goes to paying contracts. And the membrane between government and industry is highly permeable: The Director of National Intelligence, James R. Clapper, is a former executive of Booz Allen Hamilton, one of the government’s largest intelligence contractors. His predecessor as director, Admiral Mike McConnell, is the current vice chairman of the same company; Booz Allen is 99 percent dependent on government business.

These contractors now set the political and social tone of Washington, just as they are increasingly setting the direction of the country, but they are doing it quietly, their doings unrecorded in the Congressional Record or the Federal Register, and are rarely subject to congressional hearings.

Washington is the most important node of the Deep State that has taken over America, but it is not the only one. Invisible threads of money and ambition connect the town to other nodes. One is Wall Street, which supplies the cash that keeps the political machine quiescent and operating as a diversionary marionette theater.

Should the politicians forget their lines and threaten the status quo, Wall Street floods the town with cash and lawyers to help the hired hands remember their own best interests. The executives of the financial giants even have de facto criminal immunity.

On March 6, 2013, testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee, Attorney General Eric Holder stated the following: “I am concerned that the size of some of these institutions becomes so large that it does become difficult for us to prosecute them when we are hit with indications that if you do prosecute, if you do bring a criminal charge, it will have a negative impact on the national economy, perhaps even the world economy.”

This, from the chief law enforcement officer of a justice system that has practically abolished the constitutional right to trial for poorer defendants charged with certain crimes. It is not too much to say that Wall Street may be the ultimate owner of the Deep State and its strategies, if for no other reason than that it has the money to reward government operatives with a second career that is lucrative beyond the dreams of avarice — certainly beyond the dreams of a salaried government employee.

The corridor between Manhattan and Washington is a well trodden highway for the personalities we have all gotten to know in the period since the massive deregulation of Wall Street: Robert Rubin, Lawrence Summers, Henry Paulson, Timothy Geithner and many others.

Not all the traffic involves persons connected with the purely financial operations of the government: In 2013, General David Petraeus joined KKR (formerly Kohlberg Kravis Roberts) of 9 West 57th Street, New York, a private equity firm with $62.3 billion in assets. KKR specializes in management buyouts and leveraged finance. General Petraeus’ expertise in these areas is unclear. His ability to peddle influence, however, is a known and valued commodity.

Unlike Cincinnatus, the military commanders of the Deep State do not take up the plow once they lay down the sword. Petraeus also obtained a sinecure as a non-resident senior fellow at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at Harvard. The Ivy League is, of course, the preferred bleaching tub and charm school of the American oligarchy.

Petraeus and most of the avatars of the Deep State — the White House advisers who urged Obama not to impose compensation limits on Wall Street CEOs, the contractor-connected think tank experts who besought us to “stay the course” in Iraq, the economic gurus who perpetually demonstrate that globalization and deregulation are a blessing that makes us all better off in the long run — are careful to pretend that they have no ideology.

Their preferred pose is that of the politically neutral technocrat offering well considered advice based on profound expertise. That is nonsense. They are deeply dyed in the hue of the official ideology of the governing class, an ideology that is neither specifically Democrat nor Republican.

Domestically, whatever they might privately believe about essentially diversionary social issues such as abortion or gay marriage, they almost invariably believe in the “Washington Consensus”: financialization, outsourcing, privatization, deregulation and the commodifying of labor. Internationally, they espouse 21st-century “American Exceptionalism”: the right and duty of the United States to meddle in every region of the world with coercive diplomacy and boots on the ground (keep reading).

The War Against Trump – Time to Fight Back

No incoming President in history has ever been so constantly attacked than Donald Trump. Look, he says some stupid things and nobody is perfect. Still, there is a whole different agenda going on here with absolutely every issue being called a constitutional crisis worthy of impeachment.

Quite frankly, it is time to take off the gloves. Schumer demands a Special Prosecutor on this whole Russia nonsense that even Obama already said did not change any vote. What I would simply do is say fine, but also appoint a Special Prosecutor for Hillary Clinton standing trial for Treason selling influence that is obvious to everyone when as soon as she lost the election, her “charity” had to shut down. That was obviously pay-for-let’s make a deal. That was really Treason and let’s just see how many Democrats go down with the ship-Clinton.

This is not about Trump, every source I have is saying the same thing – this is stop any reform process because the corruption in Washington runs so deep and they do not want anyone looking too closely. They strategy is keep Trump occupied with scandal after sandal. The very fact that Trump called the NSA to inform them of his conversation with the Russian ambassador demonstrates that the NSA is out to get rid of Trump as is the CIA for they both ran to the New York Times and Washington Post. That in itself is Treason and putting National Security at risk far more than Trump warning Russia there was a plot to blow up one of their passenger planes again.

It’s time to take the gloves off. This is really war in Washington and it does not matter who is President, anyone trying to turn the money faucet off is not acceptable.

Press is Trying to Create a Stock Market Crash to Get Rid of Trump

The Washington Post, New York  Times, and CNN, among others, are desperately trying to get rid of Trump to support the status quo, the deep state, and prevent any economic reform whatsoever. Jeff Bezos bought the Washington Post for $250 million and cut a deal with the CIA to build their cloud getting $600 million.

The real question mainstream media will not dare answer is how does a private meeting between Trump and Russia end up with leaks to the Washington Post and New York Times because Trump informed the CIA and NSA about the meeting. This leak PROVES beyond a shadow of doubt that the collusion between the Deep State and mainstream media is in full swing.

The culprits in the press immediately, with the help of John McCain, jumped and called the firing of Comey Watergate level. Even Yahoo ran a story implying the stock market should drop 50% showing charts of what happened when they impeached Nixon. The problem with all of this is the firing of Comey is not at Watergate level and the charts showing a 50% drop in the stock market attributing this all to Watergate and Nixon is totally a complete fraud. The decline in the market had to do with the collapse of the dollar in the aftermath of abandoning the gold standard on August 15th, 1971. The market kept declining well after Nixon even resigned. So why are they trying to create a bear market so desperately? They have to get rid of Trump to preserve the status quo and stop the tax cuts.

As long as there is a progressive tax system, then the big corps and rich donors get to lobby for loopholes to avoid taxes. Why would the “rich” donate to any Democrat to pay more taxes? They don’t. They donate to the Democrats to tax anyone aggressively trying to complete with them and to ensure they have their loopholes. A flat tax does more that lower taxes for the rich, it eliminates the corruption of loopholes.

One must question if these news stories are not being used to further short positions by journalists. For anyone who thinks this is just speculation probably has never heard of the the Federal appeals court decision that upheld the securities fraud conviction of R. Foster Winans, who was a former reporter for the Wall Street Journal. He was found guilty trading on the basis of his advance knowledge of what was to appear in the newspaper’s ”Heard on the Street” column. All mainstream press do is publish bearish stories why the stock market should crash. You have to wonder between the owners of these media companies and journalists with editors, what do they have in their personal accounts for they hsve been above the law for way too long when it comes to insider trader.

We are in an all out civil war in the newspapers and TV to get rid of Trump to protect the status quo. CNN broadcasts virtually nothing but Trump impeachment constantly. This is the agenda. They are trying so hard to create a serious bear market to blame Trump and force him out of office.

So watch the numbers. They will define the percentage movement and the arrays will define the timing. This ahead is a Bear Trap that can set up everything for the opposite directional swing.

Democrats Want to Shut Down Government Until They Get Special Prosecutor

QUESTION: The Democrats are trying to now demand a special prosecutor to replace Comey and will not accept anything else and are threatening they will stop the government until they get what they want. There is talk that this could lead to evidence of impeachment. Is that possible?

ANSWER: Nixon was impeached because at the time Watergate took place, he was president running for reelection. It was the cover-up he engaged in, not the break-in. Even Obama stated that the vote was not tampered with so even if the Russian “tried” to influence the election, they were not successful. However, the disgusting tactics of Chuck Schumer are beyond belief. Even if we assume the Russians hacked the DNC and released all that info, there was NEVER any denial by the Democrats that the emails were fake, altered, or anything of a sort. So Schumer and the press are merely trying to prevent any reforms to the system whatsoever.

Trump cannot be impeached unless he lies to Congress under oath. Bill Clinton did that and was impeached, but there was not a vote to remove him from office. They would need to reach that second criteria as well. I doubt the Republicans would vote for that, not because Trump is a nice guy, but they would set a precedent that would be very dangerous.

Schumer has reiterated a Democratic call for the Department of Justice’s Inspector General to investigate the possibility of “political interference with the FBI’s investigation” into possible collaboration between Trump campaign aides and Russian officials to influence the outcome of the election in Trump’s favor. That is really absurd, since how do you measure “influence” when it is the DNC files that were the issue?

Schumer embraced a proposal by Sen. Mark Warner of Virginia, the Democratic vice chair of the Senate Intelligence Committee, which is also investigating the Russian campaign connection, to try to block the confirmation of a permanent replacement for Comey until the Justice Department agrees to appoint a special prosecutor to oversee the FBI investigation going forward.

Schumer does nothing for all the people being wrongly prosecuted in New York City. I wrote to him on people’s behalf and never lifted a finger. He takes money from all the bankers and protects them with every breath. He is just a fraud.

This issue, nonetheless, will be used by the press to stop any economic reforms and the press is fully behind trying to prevent tax cuts.

This is Trump’s stupid fault. It may now be too late to save him without some major distraction like a war. Trump is clueless that he is hated by the Deep State, Democrats, and the elite Republicans. All of them like everything as is – thank you very much. They view the people as cattle to be exploited. That is the sad state of government these days. It cannot get better – only worse.

Mutual Funds versus ETF’S

People are waking-up to the fact that they can substitute the expensive Asset Manager fees by doing it themselves. There are many ways but here we distinguish between Mutual Funds (MT) and ETF’s (Exchange Traded Funds). When buying into a MF it is via a company such as Blackrock, Vanguard, State Street etc. and they either execute the trade themselves or via a brokerage company. You are then part of a pool of money that tracks the underlying performance of the asset class. You are priced at the net asset value of the fund at the close of business that day. There is a bid/offer spread to the fund and typically a holding period with penalty for early redemption. ETF’s on the other hand are similar to a single name stock/Index/Municipal Bond etc. are traded directly on the exchange but bears no holding period. ETF’s attempt to track the net asset value of the underlying and are typically following an index; such at the S+P. One key difference is the cost – ETF’s are usually a lot cheaper to trade but on the other hand can be considerably riskier.

The growth of this type of self-investing has been huge. At the end of 2016 it is estimated the global ETF market was around $2,775bn (ICI data) with over 1,700 ETF listed. There are also rumoured to be around 79,000 Mutual Funds in the world, with just 7,900 in the Sates. However, much of the market size is dominated with in the US accounting for over 60% of the entire market value.

Growth rate into MF and ETF’s has only just stalled (in the US) but that could be because the US has such a dominant role and if considering the level of the overall stock market. Assets roughly stand around $16trn having been rising by over 12% pa since 1965 (according to Investment Company Institute). Although we are seeing a levelling-off in the US market we continue to see growth for less developed market and especially in Asia. The growth in India, for example, it is reported that Asset Management Companies grew AUM by 30% (reported by Value Research) over the past 18 months.

There could be several factors influencing recent trends. The mainstream players are facing a contracting market. This could be due to the absolute level (contract highs) and competition on fees. Clients are also becoming more financially aware, millennials are more socially astute with technology playing a huge role but also local emerging market players have started to reclaim their markets. This could be one of the reasons why GIC (Singapore sovereign wealth fund) is offering 2.4% stake in UBS; because of the increased competition from local funds in their own domestic market. UBS currently plays a dominant role within Asia for wealth management so it should not be a surprise that local companies are making a play to regain lost territory.

Sheriff David Clarke Accepts Appointment as Assistant Secretary in U.S. Department of Homeland Security….

This is really good news.  Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke is accepting a federal appointment as Assistant Secretary within the Department of Homeland Security.

WISCONSIN […] He will work in the department’s Office of Partnership and Engagement as a liaison with state, local and tribal law enforcement and governments.

“I’m looking forward to joining that team,” Clarke said Thursday afternoon on the Vicki McKenna talk show on 1130 WISN Radio.

Clarke said he would start the job in June and that one of his responsibilities would be to “take complaints of shortcomings in the Department of Homeland Security.”

“They feel like they’re being ignored,” Clarke said of his counterparts in local law enforcement.

The position of assistant secretary does not require Senate confirmation.

Clarke has said in the past that it would be difficult to turn down a job offer from President Donald Trump if he was asked to join the administration.

Clarke will work for Homeland Security Secretary John Kelly, a retired Marine general. (link)

President Trump Delivers Commencement Address at U.S. Coast Guard Academy…

Earlier today President Donald Trump delivered the commencement address at the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. Great speech – ‘never give up, and never give in’.

.

[Just a note from having watched and understood Trumpism for years. If President Trump was in the least bit nervous about this current media narrative, you’d be able to tell. He’s not, because there’s no ‘there’ there .  DJT is absorbing; he’s watching – not only his political enemies, but the responses from his supposed “allies”.  DJT follows a consistent pattern amid controversial frenzy.  DJT absorbs this stuff like fuel. DJT is not a politician, he’s on a mission; DJT has nothing to lose; DJT loves his life and family, everything else is less than. No-one is more grounded.  Excellence is his hobby. Watch for a presser within the next 24 hours. Timing dependent on tonight’s 5pm media bombshell hit job.]

Stock Market Crash?

The correction has begun with the uneasiness of the two political scandals surrounding Trump – Russian meeting and now a Comey memo saying Trump asked him to kill the investigation into Flyn. The first is not really an issue legally, but the second could fuel the quest to impeach Trump which is really led by McCain and Graham behind the curtain in league with Schumer. McCain is already calling this a Watergate demonstrating he is out to get rid of Trump and protect the establishment.

The impeachment of Trump is being talked about behind the curtain as a positive move for then Pence would take up the Presidency and then the tax reforms would become possible. That is an interesting twist on things.

We are showing choppiness for three months and big volatility its in August. The likelihood of getting any tax reform now before the August Congress holiday is fading very fast. This is taking the icing off of the Trump rally. Forget the infrastructure expenditures for that is matching funds and states will just raise taxes for that one which is detrimental not bullish other than from the companies who will overcharge government fix stuff.

The Daily Bearish Reversals in the Cash S&P500 lie at 237900 and 234450. A Weekly closing below 233500 will tend to warn a serious correction becomes possible.

The fact that the Dow has been unable to make new highs and the Global Market Watched on the monthly level labeled April when it closed for the month as IMPORTANT HIGH. Our Capital Flow Models models are showing that there has been some European selling of equities, which is the reason the Dow has not followed the S&P500 or the NASDAQ. There has been a flight to quality moving into the US Treasuries, but also the hot money has been selling the dollar after the French election. Here we still see a Weekly closing below 20000 will confirm a more serious correction. The Daily number remains at 20204.

The NASDAQ shows a daily closing below 610750 will signal that a temporary correction is possible.A Weekly closing below 580500 will confirm a serious correction is possible.

The Global Market Watch classified the April high in the Dow as a Possible Important High. That should not be ignored. If May closes lower than April at month-end on these three indexes, that will confirm the correction. We do see the possibility for the correction to extend into 2018 from which a slingshot to the upside remains probably.

New York Times: President Trump Asked Comey To End Flynn Investigation…

Always remember the basic rule that has been proven accurate 100% of the time:

  • When the CIA wants to leak a damaging story they coordinate with the Washington Post and ABC. (and vice-versa).
  • When the State Dept. or FBI/DOJ wants to leak a damaging story they coordinate with CNN and the New York Times. (and vice-versa)

This consistent pattern has NEVER been broken.

There is also a particular transparency here with regard to media timing and intent.  The Washington Post (yesterday) and New York Times (today) are attempting to frame the anti-Trump narrative right before he goes on his first overseas trip.

Dual benefits for antagonistic media and political opposition:

♦ Trump team is out of country and unable to defend administration on-camera, while frenzy ensues 24/7 in U.S media, and ♦ Trump team becomes relentlessly questioned by traveling press corps abroad on domestic controversy, diminishing Trump international status and pushing the weak/damaged Trump image toward the host nation optic.

It’s how they roll.  Again, check out the timing:

Another explosive media story targeted, yet again, specifically to create controversy and lead the evening news cycle.

As to the substance of the matter – WE PREDICTED EXACTLY THIS SCENARIO – Less than a week ago we outlined the specific strategy being utilized to attack President Trump’s credibility in office.

WASHINGTON — President Trump asked the F.B.I. director, James B. Comey, to shut down the federal investigation into Mr. Trump’s former national security adviser, Michael T. Flynn, in an Oval Office meeting in February, according to a memo Mr. Comey wrote shortly after the meeting.

“I hope you can let this go,” the president told Mr. Comey, according to the memo.

The existence of Mr. Trump’s request is the clearest evidence that the president has tried to directly influence the Justice Department and F.B.I. investigation into links between Mr. Trump’s associates and Russia.  (read more)

The New York Times reports this oval office meeting between President Trump and FBI Director James Comey took place on Valentines Day, February 14th, 2017.

[…] The Feb. 14 meeting took place just a day after Mr. Flynn was forced out of his job after it was revealed he had lied to Vice President Mike Pence about the nature of phone conversations he had had with the Russian ambassador to the United States.

As we said last week:  ‘For several months the media have been steadfast in their efforts to turn this into Watergate 2.0.  To achieve that objective the political angle-players and media need only to paint Trump into a corner with a credible accusation of the president interfering with an FBI investigation (Flynn).   Against the timeline above, as played out this week with Sally Yates testimony to congress, they are only a couple more timely misinformation leaks and twisted reports away from making that happen’. (more)

Well?

According to the Times report, Comey did nothing at the time (Feb. 14th), or throughout the time between the meeting until he was fired.

[…] After writing up a memo that outlined the meeting, Mr. Comey shared it with senior F.B.I. officials. Mr. Comey and his aides perceived Mr. Trump’s comments as an effort to influence the investigation, but they decided that they would try to keep the conversation secret — even from the F.B.I. agents working on the Russia investigation — so the details of the conversation would not affect the investigation. (link)

Notice how Comey’s aides state they kept the memo secret from FBI agents working on the Russia investigation.  Convenient huh?  This is how the current storytellers get around McCabe’s testimony to congress where he stated the administration had made no efforts to influence the investigation.

Again, to the NYT article:

In testimony to the Senate last week, the acting F.B.I. director, Andrew G. McCabe, said, “There has been no effort to impede our investigation to date.”

Mr. McCabe was referring to the broad investigation into possible collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. The investigation into Mr. Flynn is separate.

The New York Times makes sure they draw that useful notation.

This is all scripted.  All of it.  From timing, to substance, to intent, to vague disingenuous and anonymous “sources”, etc.

This is a scripted and coordinated left-wing media construct.

“January 24th” –> FBI clears Michael Flynn in probe linking him to Russia http://nyp.st/2kmeop4  via @nypost

The FBI has reviewed intercepted phone calls between national security adviser Michael Flynn and the Russian ambassador to the US and has found no evidence of wrongdoing, it was revealed Monday.

The calls were made in late December and picked up as part of routine electronic surveillance of Russian officials. They did not reveal any illicit ties between Flynn and Russia, according to the Washington Post.

The review of the calls was part of a wider probe into Russia’s interference in the presidential election and hacking of the Democratic National Committee
