When I was in college getting my degree in economics I wrote my thesis on a variation of this off shore manufacturing problem that we have today. Moving production out of the country for cheap goods doesn’t work because that was the place the middle class got their jobs. Everyone can’t be a doctor or an attorney and you don’t need many engineers if you don’t make things. The service industry has two components to it i.e. food service and financial service or low skill and high skill with not much in between. The other problem was the services can also be taken over seas so we are left with no jobs but those in government so the bottom line is that the service economic model is based on false assumption and does not work in the long run as we are finding out. The “services” model MUST be replaced and goods production brought back or the country will cease to exist in a few decades.

The original idea that formed the country was that there was one country one set of laws and there was NO RULING CLASS. The federal government had no say in what the citizens could do and for 200 some years there was no limit to what we the people could do. Since then little by little we have been tricked into thinking that there were some of us that were were better than others and for the last 50 years we allowed the Federal government to take over everything and as that happened we stopped growing and worse started to use up 200 years of accumulated capital. Our education system doesn’t teach us out to be good people but instead teaches us how to hate others. The politicians love this for they have leverage on us by proposing more and more laws to make things more fair and take away from some to give to others eliminating the need to work. No country can survive this and if we don’t change back to the old system soon the will be no United States in a few years.

I had hopes for a better outcome but the war is not lost —- maybe its good to loose the first battle so we don’t get complacent. Trump can still win the next two and two out of three is not bad!

The French Prime Minister, Manuel Valls, said at DAVOS: “The European project can fail if we cannot resolve the security and the issue of refugees.” The idea behind the euro was that a single currency would expand the European economy and allow for free movement. That dream is coming to an end for they see that closing the borders will close trade and that reverses everything.
The two worst mistakes have been (1) the failure to consolidate member debt, and (2) accepting refugees by the millions from a region that is hostile. For intelligent people, they have demonstrated that book smart is still dumb.

German Finance Minister Wolfgang Schaeuble has called for a new EU-wide tax on petrol to pay for the refugee crisis that Germany has created. This is a EU-WIDE Continental Tax, not one limited to Germany. So now all Europeans must pay for a gross mistake Merkel made inviting the refugees into Europe. The people are always seen as an endless source to tax for the nightmares created by politicians. Just when will the people ever have a right to just say NO!
