House Subcommittee on Weaponization of Government Releases 17,000 Page Report Outlining The Obama/Biden Weaponization of Government

The House Subcommittee on the weaponization of government has issued a massive 17,000-page series of staff reports documenting the Obama/Biden weaponization of government.

While many of the findings are not going to be a surprise to CTH readers, the details and emails cited in the report are substantial.

EXAMPLE: A redacted Facebook executive spilled the beans in an email about a call with DHS, saying: “DHS cannot openly endorse the portal.”

EXAMPLE: • Alex Stamos of the Stanford Internet Observatory emailed NextDoor executives: “We already have partnerships with Facebook, Twitter, and Google, and we would love to chat with you and your team.”

The massive documentary report is broken down into four segments [Available Here].  It is going to take some time to go through all of the reports and extract the critical components.  If you would like to take a review, the four-segment links are below:

At its core, the Obama era weaponization of government was the motive for the entire Obama team selecting Joe Biden as the 2020 candidate who gave them the best option for controlling and concealing the activity they undertook during the tenure of Barack Obama.

Biden was the avatar giving the Obama control operatives time to continue covering for all their previous action.

The latter part of 2010 through 2011 was a key period in the Obama presidency.  On the cusp of a midterm election shellacking, with domestic focus on the issues around Obamacare, the Obama team and Hillary Clinton team were also intent on fueling the “Arab Spring” and the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Libya and Egypt.

With background research provided by the U.S. State Dept and Rivkin Project in France, a petri-dish dish experiment to see if French culture could be diluted and enhanced with “brotherhood-style” multiculturalism, Hillary and Barry then fine-tuned the mechanics.  Secretary Hillary Clinton, Samantha Power and Susan Rice quickly convinced President Obama to help leverage his Silicon Valley allies.

As a workaround to stop Hosni Mubarak and Muamar Kaddafi from controlling information flow and putting down the protests, the social media platforms of Twitter and Facebook were enlisted to assist the Brotherhood in Egypt and Libya respectively.  The U.S-designated Brotherhood partners were given support, communication and influence through Twitter and Facebook to organize their protests.

In 2011 the official merge of U.S. social media platforms to assist the U.S. State Dept foreign policy agenda was created.  In many ways this merge was the inflection point for government to begin controlling social media, Libya and Egypt were the BETA test for what would later be deployed domestically.

Seeing the success and influence of the Arab Spring experiment, in 2012 President Obama signed HR-5736, with an addition to the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013.  The Smith-Mundt Modernization Act, contained within the NDAA for Fiscal Year 2013, eased some restrictions so that media produced by the U.S. Agency for Global Media and intended for foreign audiences could be distributed domestically upon request, according to its text. Prior to its passage, the propaganda content was banned from being disseminated in America.

This move made it possible to deploy the same social media tactics domestically.  Within the Twitter Files, you will note how 2012 and 2013 are key periods when the Dept of Homeland Security began exploring their new influence partnership in social media.   For the next ten years, that partnership created various sub-set silos within the government.

DHS, FBI and Intelligence Community offices now had direct communication lines into Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google, WhatsAp, etc.  However, Telegram and TikTok were not around and not part of the partnership.  What two platforms have been targeted recently?… Just a coincidence, I’m sure.

The Arab Spring was the BETA test, the proving ground.  Then they went domestic with the same operation.

The results of the domestic operation, the public-private partnership, later became stunningly visible in the COVID-19 censorship operation as well as the government influence operation in the aftermath of the 2020 election.  However, most recently there has been some pushback from both originating entities; Twitter – via Elon Musk, and Facebook – via a regretful Mark Zuckerberg.

With increased scrutiny and a more awakened public seeing the consequences, it is harder for Main Justice, DHS and a weaponized intelligence community to execute their domestic propaganda operations.  Even the labeling and categorization through “mis-dis-mal-information” does not appear to be working.

Within a recent WEF discussion, Secretary Kerry outlined how freedom of speech is a ‘threat to the global democracy‘ because the governing officials have a difficult time controlling information.  Kerry goes on to posit how the next administration, he hoped at the time it would be Kamala Harris, would forcefully structure all the tools of government to stop Americans from using the first amendment to freely speak about issues.

Governing is too challenging, according to Kerry, when the government cannot stop people from seeking and discovering information that is against their interests.  Effective governing required compliant adherence to a singular ideology.

Against the backdrop of COVID-19 and a host of similarly related government narratives, if people are free to find alternative information and think for themselves, they become increasingly more difficult to control.  Yes, this is said quite openly.  This is the mindset of those in power.  WATCH:

Saudi Migrant Terrorist Attack on German Christmas Market in Magdeburg Triggers Ridiculous Defense From Olaf Scholz Govt

Posted originally on the CTH on December 21, 2024 | Sundance

I have information from very solid sourcing that Saudi Arabia previously requested the return of Saudi Arabian refugee Taleb Al Abdulmohsen, a 50-year-old Saudi Arabian psychiatrist who migrated to Germany in 2006.

Saudi Arabia warned Germany of Abdulmohsen’s extremist views. However, in 2016 Germany granted Abdulmohsen asylum and protection from deportation. [Similar to USA rejecting Russia warnings of Tamerlan Tsarnaev before Boston marathon bombing.]

Taleb Al Abdulmohsen drove his vehicle into a German Christmas market, targeting Christian families celebrating the holiday season. At least five people were killed, including a child, according to the premier of Saxony-Anhalt, Reiner Haseloff, of the CDU.  Some 200 other victims were injured in the attack.

From the perspective of the German government, this terrorist attack could not have come at a worse time.  The German Parliament collapsed last week with a no confidence vote, which means an election in early February is required.  The economy and immigration are the two biggest issues amid the German citizenry.

The terrorist attack by Saudi immigrant Abdulmohsen makes the rise of AfD, the nationalist party and the strongest opposition group on the issues of highest priority, more likely.  The current German government are freaking out.

As a result of the political consequences, and in an absurd reaction therein, the German officials are claiming that Saudi immigrant Taleb al-Abdulmohsen was an “Islamophobic” follower of Islam, who was a supporter of the nationalist AfD (anti-Islam) party.  None of that makes any sense.

When contrast against the strong likelihood that Saudi Arabia warned German of the unstable mindset of Abdulmohsen, and when you consider the outrage amid the German people, well, the current German government appears to be panicked and grasping for any straw that might deflect the already embattled ruling party from the consequences of their liberal immigration policy.

Things in Germany are totally ridiculous right now.

(Via Politico EU) – […] Chancellor Olaf Scholz, whose center-left party looks set to lose power in February, described the attack as a “terrible, insane act” and said “those who want to sow hatred” wouldn’t win.

But Scholz faces important questions over the next few days about what was known of the suspect, his identity was confirmed by prosecutors as Taleb Al Abdulmohsen. While prosecutors gave almost no details about the suspect, German media said Abdulmohsen is a 50-year-old Saudi Arabian psychiatrist who moved to Germany in 2006.

The Magdeburg chief prosecutor, Horst Walter Nopens, did indicate a Saudi connection.

“It looks like the background to the crime could have been … dissatisfaction with the treatment of Saudi Arabian refugees in Germany,” Nopens told a press conference on Saturday. “But what is deeper behind this is the subject of the investigation,” he said.

Interior Minister Nancy Faeser said the authorities can “say with certainty that the perpetrator was obviously Islamophobic.”

The chief prosecutor said the suspect is in police custody and has made a statement about the motive for the crime, but he declined to give any details about that statement. The investigators “do not yet know whether it was a terrorist attack,” Nopens said.

[…] German Vice Chancellor Robert Habeck described the attack as “terrible news” in a place “where people wanted to spend the Advent season in peace and community.” Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock expressed shock at the incident, and sent condolences to the victims and their families. Think about the ridiculous logic pushed in the governing narrative:

The terrorist was “Islamophobic” but chose to target Christians at a Christmas Market, to protest the Islamization of Germany?

Good grief, even the FBI would be blushing at this level of twisted narrative engineering.

“German Chancellor Olaf Scholz and Interior Minister Nancy Faeser on Saturday visited Magdeburg, where at least five people were killed and dozens were injured after a car plowed into a busy Christmas market, in what officials have called a deliberate attack.” Video Below:

It’s Official – Tom Cotton Replaces Marco Rubio on Gang of Eight, New Senate Intel Committee Chairman

John Thune has announced the new Senate Republican Committee Chairs and Members. [WEBSITE]

Within the announcement, the Chairman of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence is Senator Tom Cotton.  This puts Senator Cotton together with Democrat Vice-Chair Mark Warner.  This appointment also puts Tom Cotton on the Intelligence Community “Gang of Eight.”

A position within the Gang of Eight comes as a result of holding one of the following eight positions: 1. The Speaker of the House, 2. The Minority Leader of the House, 3. the Majority Leader of the Senate, 4. the Minority Leader of the Senate, 5. the Chairperson of the House Permanent Committee on Intelligence, 6. the minority leader from the same committee; 7. The Chairperson of the Senate Intelligence Committee and 8. the minority leader of the same committee.

In March of 2016 an exclusive list of politicians, top tech executives, billionaires, donors and influence agents gathered at a secretive meeting with key leaders of the Washington DC UniParty.  The meeting was to discuss their plans to destroy Donald Trump.  The meeting took place at the exclusive enclave in Sea Island Georgia.

Over time, almost every single member of the Sea Island Group who attended that weekend meeting have detonated themselves in an effort to try and take down President Trump.  Just as the axiom ‘never trust a never Trumper’ has been proven true repeatedly, so too is the sentiment ‘just wait, if they attended Sea Island, they will eventually expose their intent to destroy Trump.’  [READ HERE]  Senator Tom Cotton was an attendee!

WASHINGTON — U.S. Sen. John Thune (R-S.D.) today announced the Senate Republican Conference committee assignments for the 119th Congress. The assignments have been ratified by the Senate Republican Conference and are expected to be ratified by the full Senate early next Congress.

Short-Term Funding Mechanism for Govt Spending Passes House

For those who walk the deep weeds of internecine politics, we notice there is an influential component of the Sea Island group still at work within the GOP.

The same Republican “conservatives” who voted to suspend the debt ceiling issue for Joe Biden (Chip Roy, Thomas Massie, Nancy Mace et al), refused to stop the issue of the debt ceiling from surfacing during the Donald Trump administration.

At a certain point we must accept there are elements within the republican apparatus who intend to disrupt President Trump even though they present a false face.

The short-term spending bill has punted the issues of government funding into March 2025. The package passed 366-34, with the support of 196 Democrats and 170 Republicans.

The good news is that most of the hidden non-spending aspects were removed in the much shorter CR extension. The provisions which shielded the administrative state, approximately 1,000 pages of self-interested regulation, were removed. However, the debt ceiling conflict will rise again and could potentially present a problem because they will be attached to future legislative negotiations on Trump policy.

The House “Freedom Caucus” is essentially the voice and mechanism for the Sea Island group to disrupt MAGA plans and President Trump’s economic priorities. The Debt Ceiling is their legislative weapon, a false front technical issue to hide the Freedom Caucus intent. They justify standing against Trump by saying “fiscal conservatism”; but in reality, their history shows their vitriol only extends outwardly when Trump is in office.

The Sea Island multinational and banking group (traditional GOP control elements) are the financial backers of these anti-Trump schemes. The origin of their corporate opposition comes from the way they make money, which is not in alignment with the policy of President Trump.

The same group of influential hedge fund managers, billionaires, multinational corporations, banking groups and political operatives on K-Street who do their bidding (Chamber of Commerce, Club for Growth etc.) are/were behind the effort to lift Ron DeSantis. It is easier to reference them simply by saying The Sea Island Group. This is why we see the same names, the Ron DeSantis supporting politicians, voting against the proposals of President Trump.

They do not support the operational intentions of Donald Trump (economic nationalism), and they use “conservative principles” as the justification for their opposition. Quite simply, it is a ruse. I am sick of watching these Deceptive Conservatives create arguments amid the republican base of MAGA support who do not follow the convoluted mechanics of how they use legislation and votes (cloture) to carry out the objectives of the billionaire donor class. CTH was founded in part on this issue. We have outlined these masks for a long time.

(Via NBC) – WASHINGTON — The Republican-controlled House on Friday evening passed a short-term bill to avert a government shutdown … The vote was 366-34, with all opposition coming from Republicans and one member voting present. It capped a tumultuous week in the House that foreshadowed how the new Congress in January might deal with a mercurial Donald Trump back in the White House. A two-thirds vote was needed because the bill came to the floor under a fast-track process.

The legislation now heads to the Senate which must pass it before 12:01 a.m. to avert a shutdown.

The package funds the government at current levels through March 14, and includes $100 billion in disaster aid and a one-year farm bill — while stripping out a debt limit extension demanded by President-elect Trump earlier in the week. (read more)

These funding fights always break down to accepting a crap sandwich amid a buffet of horrible ingredients.  They always suck; however, President Trump’s pragmatic optimal solution approach has always been to plough through it with as little of the crap ingredients as possible, while rapidly positioning to have the benefit of his economic policy as fast as possible.

Lastly, understand this with direct seriousness. The House Freedom Caucus (HFC) wants the Debt Ceiling fight. It is a tool they can use so they can impede the economic agenda of President Donald Trump. This same HFC will -eventually- work to STOP the Musk and Ramaswamy DOGE effort to remove the tentacles of big government.

The HFC are anti-Trump, and they will stand aghast shouting “muh principles” when you point it out; they are, unfortunately, assholes.

Why Admit Now? – Wall Street Journal Interviews 50 Biden Staff and Officials Who Outline Cognitive Decline

Posted originally on the CTH on December 20, 2024 | Sundance

The Wall Street Journal triggered a lot of attention with a lengthy expose’ article [SEE HERE] sourced from 50 members of the Biden administration who mostly admit: Joe Biden’s cognitive decline was obvious early in the administration and rapidly worsened in the last two years.

The article outlines what most of the non-pretending group already knew, Biden was selected by Team Obama specifically because he was easily controlled by a group of insider staff allowing the Obama agenda to continue with Biden as the avatar for it. Heck, they even created a soundstage and fake Oval Office backdrop; but we are not supposed to mention that reminder, are we?

WSJ – […] Presidents always have gatekeepers. But in Biden’s case, the walls around him were higher and the controls greater, according to Democratic lawmakers, donors and aides who worked for Biden and other administrations. There were limits over who Biden spoke with, limits on what they said to him and limits around the sources of information he consumed.

[…] This account of how the White House functioned with an aging leader at the top of its organizational chart is based on interviews with nearly 50 people, including those who participated in or had direct knowledge of the operations.

[…] The president’s slide has been hard to overlook. While preparing last year for his interview with Robert K. Hur, the special counsel who investigated Biden’s handling of classified documents, the president couldn’t recall lines that his team discussed with him. At events, aides often repeated instructions to him, such as where to enter or exit a stage, that would be obvious to the average person. Biden’s team tapped campaign co-chairman Jeffrey Katzenberg, a Hollywood mogul, to find a voice coach to improve the president’s fading warble. (read more)

The media can never recover credibility over this issue, they willfully and purposefully lied and helped the White House cover up the issues.

So, the question is, why now?  Why tell the truth now?

The Scale of Economic Leverage Carried by President Trump into Term-2 is Stunning

Posted originally on the CTH on December 19, 2024 | Sundance

Simultaneous to Washington DC debating how to fund government with an undertext of self-preservation and defense against Donald Trump’s arrival, we see a flock of tech CEOs rushing to talk to President Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

The latest arrival to the southern White House is Amazon founder Jeff Bezos (AWS), who hedged his bets too long and was late in supporting President Trump before the election.  This has put Bezos in a position of riding his bicycle in slow circles at the end of the driveway while Musk (xAI), Ellison (Oracle) and Thiel (Palantir) have full access ‘insider’ passes along with their ally Vice-President Elect JD Vance.

NEW YORK POST – Amazon founder Jeff Bezos was seen sauntering into Mar-a-Lago late Wednesday night to have dinner with President-elect Donald Trump.  Bezos walked in with his fiancée Lauren Sanchez for their first dinner with Trump since the soon-to-be 47th president won re-election.  Trump had said last week that Bezos would visit him at his Florida mansion.

The billionaire is just one of the tech executives hoping to get in Trump’s good graces before inauguration. Bezos had informed Trump’s team that he would donate $1 million to his inaugural fund, according to the Wall Street Journal.  (read more)

Apple CEO Tim Cook and META CEO Mark Zuckerberg were previous guests at Mar-a-Lago for tech meetings before Bezos.  Heck, all that’s needed now is for Bill Gates to show up and a wormhole revealing a parallel universe is likely to open.   However, all kidding aside, what we are witnessing is something extraordinarily unique, a timeline and confluence of events with great consequence.

♦ It’s all about money.

If we step back and look at the origin of the most recent geopolitical unrest, most of it -as usual- connected to the economics of things; what we notice is the World Economic Forum’s post-pandemic Build Back Better agenda created a global energy crisis, and subsequently a great deal of international inflation.

The originating angst behind the recent EU election outcomes can be traced back to the collateral damage from the insufferably short-sighted “clean energy” policy.  Yes, it was all intentional, and yes, the consequences were predictable. However, what was unknown to those who orchestrated the events, was the eventual reaction from the citizens who felt the brunt of the economic consequences.

At its root cause and consequence, France has now lost their governing party coalition, while the German governing party coalition also just collapsed.  The nation of Georgia rebuked the entreaties of Brussels, and the people of Romania are trying to generate an election outcome that can withstand the manipulation of the European Union.

The inverted fascism of the WEF (corporations controlling govt) is now being rejected throughout the European continent, while Brussels and the NATO-led western leadership teams attempt to find new ways to retain control.

The underlying turmoil is mostly economic, and we can trace the origin of these surfacing geopolitical dynamics to the post-pandemic plan known as Build Back Better.  Inflation, skyrocketing costs of living, food prices, home heating, fuel prices, farming costs, transportation and so much more. All of it impacted by an energy policy that touches every aspect of life.

All of those energy policy consequences create serious trouble. However, this geopolitical trouble also creates an opportunity where President Trump’s use of economic leverage as a tool to create national wealth gains power.  All these various western nations are precariously balanced right now, and here comes President Trump – the proverbial Godzilla in a China shop.

President Trump has both economic and national security expectations for China, Russia, Ukraine, the EU, Canada and Mexico.  Most of the “western” nations in that group are in a vulnerable economic position to the impact that Trump can deliver; they know it, and he knows it. Consider….

VIA POLITICO – […] The economic crosswinds sweeping across the continent threaten to stir into a perfect storm in the coming year as an unchained Trump sets his sights on Europe. In addition to levying new tariffs on everything from Bordeaux to Brioni (the president-elect’s favorite Italian suit-maker), the incoming leader of the free world is certain to reinforce his demand that NATO countries either pony up more cash for their own defense or lose American protection.

That means European capitals, already struggling to rein in surging deficits amid dwindling tax revenue, will face even greater financial strains, which could trigger further political and social upheaval.

Recessions and trade wars may come and go, but what makes this juncture so perilous for the continent’s prosperity has to do with the biggest inconvenient truth of all: the EU has become an innovation desert.

Though Europe has a rich history of eye-popping inventions, including scientific breakthroughs that gave the world everything from the automobile to the telephone, radio, television and pharmaceuticals, it has devolved into an also-ran.

Once synonymous with cutting-edge automotive technology, Europe today doesn’t have a single entry among the 15 bestselling electric vehicles. As former Italian Prime Minister and central banker Mario Draghi noted in his recent report on Europe’s flagging competitiveness, only four of the world’s top 50 tech companies are European. (more)

President Trump’s first term was consequential in part because it was unexpected.  This time many of those nations know exactly what to expect; but the bizarre part is, because of what they did to themselves they cannot preposition to avoid their vulnerability.

They carried out the plan of the WEF organization.  Now, as a direct and specific consequence, economically most of those nations are completely exposed and politically weak.  President Trump has never had this much leverage before.

In term #1, the reacting allies dragged their heels to comply with Trump’s requests and expectations.  In Term #2 I expect one of the more visible elements for us to watch will be how fast those same allies react to requests and expectations. In fact, I think we are already seeing this play out.

The speed of compliance by “western allies”, is directly proportionate to their economic vulnerability.  Mexico and Canada are great examples.

The European Union Commission are a bunch of elitist snobs who refuse to accept how detached and diminutive they truly are.  However, it is going to be fun to watch the EU fall in line quickly to avoid President Trump simply getting up from the table and walking out.

Georgia State Appeals Court Disqualifies Fani Willis from Trump Prosecution

A Georgia appellate court has disqualified Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis from the case against Donald Trump and removed her from prosecuting not only Trump but also the co-defendants in the case she brought in relation to the efforts to overturn the 2020 election. [RULING HERE]

The decision is likely to cripple the case completely and stop the Georgia efforts to prosecute Trump. Federal prosecutors have already dropped the other criminal case related to the 2020 election in the wake of Trump winning the 2024 election.

VIA POLITICO – A Georgia appeals court has ruled that Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her office must be disqualified from the criminal racketeering case she brought against President-elect Donald Trump and his allies over their efforts to alter the results of the 2020 election.

In a 2-1 decision Thursday, the court found that Willis had created the appearance of a conflict of interest stemming from her romantic relationship with an outside prosecutor whom she hired to help run the case.

“This is the rare case in which disqualification is mandated and no other remedy will suffice to restore public confidence in the integrity of these proceedings,” Judge Trenton Brown wrote, addressing the legal implications of Willis’ relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade.

The ruling appears likely to require the case to be assigned to another prosecutor. But Trump’s imminent inauguration as president means the charges against him are almost certain to either be paused while he is in office or dismissed entirely. The proceedings against Trump’s co-defendants — including close allies like former chief of staff Mark Meadows and lawyer Rudy Giuliani — could continue to grind forward during Trump’s presidency. Senate Armed Services Committee Positioning to Leak FBI Report on Def Secretary Nominee Pete Hegseth

Posted originally on the CTH on December 19, 2024 | Sundance

The Senate Armed Services Committee follows a tradition of the Chair and Vice-Chair reviewing the FBI report on Defense Secretary nominations, and then bringing the nomination to a full committee hearing and vote.

However, in an unprecedented move being discussed the Chairman Jack Reed, of Rhode Island, and the ranking member from Mississippi Sen. Roger Wicker, are debating releasing the FBI report on Pete Hegseth to the full committee, thereby positioning the FBI report to be leaked to media.

Keep in mind, this is an “FBI investigative report,” and we already know the history of how the FBI uses their investigative authorities to influence, change and manipulate political outcomes.  If we drop the pretending, the FBI is a weaponized agency of DC government with the expressed intent to protect the interests of DC.

The only reason to widely distribute the FBI background investigation of Hegseth is so that someone can leak it to media.

WASHINGTON DC – At least a dozen senators are pushing to see the FBI’s background check on Pete Hegseth, Donald Trump’s embattled pick for Pentagon chief — a rare move for the committee that oversees his confirmation and a sign the former Fox News host still faces hurdles in the Senate.

Unlike some other committees, the Senate Armed Services usually limits access to these types of background checks to its two lead senators. But pressure is building from both Democrats and Republicans to provide more lawmakers with the ongoing report, whose contents could determine whether Hegseth makes it to the Pentagon.

“It would be helpful, given the allegations that have been lodged against Mr. Hegseth, to be able to see the FBI background check,” Sen. Susan Collins (R-Maine), a potential swing vote on Hegseth, said in an interview.

The push follows allegations of sexual assault against Hegseth, as well as alcohol abuse and mismanagement during his tenure at two veterans groups. He denies the allegations, and Trump’s allies have continued to drum up support for the TV personality. No Republicans have come out against him.

[…] The FBI’s background investigation is expected to thoroughly examine Hegseth’s personal and professional history, including interviews with associates, reviews of financial records, and queries into past legal issues. (read more)

The FBI does the investigation of Pete Hegseth.

The Insufferable 1,547 Page Continuing Resolution Bill *WAS* a Massive “Omnibus” of Regulatory Effort Before Trump Takes Office

The 1,547 page “continuing resolution bill” is available for review HERE.  They are calling this a “CR” (continuing resolution) bill to fund government.  However, only approximately 10 pages (15 to 25) are the funding mechanism; the rest is a regulatory construct, an attempt to circumvent the Trump administration, and position the federal government to defend against structural changes President Trump is intending to initiate.

Within THE BILL, in an effort to force Republicans to support it, there is a section approximately 500 pages, that spends and directs $100 billion for disaster relief in Florida, Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina following the devasting late season hurricanes.  The disaster relief portion should be a stand-alone bill but is included in the massive omnibus spending package because it creates votes to support.

President Trump is well aware of the mechanics inside the Omnibus (CR) package and, together with Elon Musk, has announced his opposition to it.

President Trump is urging congress to pass only the portion of the bill that would tie up loose ends and keep government funded before he takes office next month.  His direction is to raise the government’s borrowing authority –debt ceiling– and extending government funding.

Doing a short-term funding CR means lawmakers must strip out all the non-funding elements backed by Democrats.  This would allow only Republicans to pass the bill.  The stuff Democrats want would be removed.  Currently the Democrats are aligned to support the bill and vote for it because the majority of the bill is toxic regulatory changes.

REUTERS – […] Democrats currently hold a majority in the Senate, and Democratic President Joe Biden remains in power until Trump takes office on Jan. 20.

The current bill would fund government agencies at current levels and provide $100 billion for disaster relief and $10 billion in farm aid. It also includes a wide range of unrelated provisions, such as a pay raise for lawmakers and a crackdown on hidden hotel fees.

Trump said Congress should limit the bill to temporary spending and disaster relief and also raise the national debt ceiling now before it comes to a head next year.

“Unless the Democrats terminate or substantially extend the Debt Ceiling now, I will fight ’till the end,” Trump said on his Truth Social (read more)

If the spending package is not complete the non-essential elements of the government will “shut down” a non-technical term that really means little in the grand scheme of things because congress has defined everything as ‘essential.’

statement from President Donald J. Trump and Vice President-Elect JD Vance:

The most foolish and inept thing ever done by Congressional Republicans was allowing our country to hit the debt ceiling in 2025. It was a mistake and is now something that must be addressed.

Meanwhile, Congress is considering a spending bill that would give sweetheart provisions for government censors and for Liz Cheney. The bill would make it easier to hide the records of the corrupt January 6 committee—which accomplished nothing for the American people and hid security failures that happened that day. This bill would also give Congress a pay increase while many Americans are struggling this Christmas.

Increasing the debt ceiling is not great but we’d rather do it on Biden’s watch. If Democrats won’t cooperate on the debt ceiling now, what makes anyone think they would do it in June during our administration? Let’s have this debate now. And we should pass a streamlined spending bill that doesn’t give Chuck Schumer and the Democrats everything they want.

Republicans want to support our farmers, pay for disaster relief, and set our country up for success in 2025. The only way to do that is with a temporary funding bill WITHOUT DEMOCRAT GIVEAWAYS combined with an increase in the debt ceiling. Anything else is a betrayal of our country.

Republicans must GET SMART and TOUGH. If Democrats threaten to shut down the government unless we give them everything they want, then CALL THEIR BLUFF. It is Schumer and Biden who are holding up aid to our farmers and disaster relief.

THIS CHAOS WOULD NOT BE HAPPENING IF WE HAD A REAL PRESIDENT. WE WILL IN 32 DAYS! (SOURCE)
