The world view of the Trilateral Commission is that all governments must be dissolved and only the intellectuals of their selection will be allowed to rule. A war with Russia appears to be a part of their plan as that allows them to consolidate their power. They think they can control a war but no one can control a war so it will turn out bad.

Will World War III be Nuclear?
Armstrong Economics Blog
Re-Posted Oct 20, 2016 by Martin Armstrong
QUESTION: Marty, do you think nuclear weapons will be used this time?
PDH

ANSWER: History is a road map to the future because human nature remains the same. People are far too often foolish. They attribute guns as the cause of violence as if humankind was peaceful before the invention of the gun. At an ancient battlefield site in Scotland, archaeologists unearthed the largest cache of Roman lead sling bullets ever discovered. You see, the Romans also had bullets. They used powerful slingshots to propel them instead of gunpowder. So, even the idea of shooting someone with a lead bullet is nothing new.
It is true that technology advancements have aided conquests. The Turks took Constantinople, which had been impregnable, because of the invention of the cannon, which depicted in the painting of the fall of Constantinople. The cannon was invented in China where they discovered gunpowder. This replaced ancient siege engines and battering rams. Today we have nuclear weapons. The weapons themselves are not evil, only the people who push the buttons to launch the weapons are evil.
A weapon by itself does not kill. Even biological weapons must be deployed, which is by no means a modern unique development. Lord Jeffrey Amherst, for whom Amherst Massachusetts was named, was indeed the commanding general of British forces in North America during the final battles of the French & Indian war (1754-1763). He won the wars, but his reputation was a bit tarnished in the end. Amherst’s name became associated with germ warfare. He approved giving smallpox-infected blankets to the American Indians. This was reported in Carl Waldman’s “Atlas of the North American Indian” (1985). There are surviving letters, such as that from Colonel Henry Bouquet to General Amherst, dated July 13, 1763, concerning the distribution of blankets to “inoculate the Indians.”
History repeats ONLY because people repeat the same patterns with whatever technology they have available at that moment in time. World War I was notorious for the use of chemical weapons, which infected about 1.2 million people and killed about 90,000. The chemical weapons used produced very slow-moving or static gas clouds over the battlefields. Additional chemical weapons included disabling chemicals, such as tear gas, but also included lethal chemicals like phosgene, chlorine, and mustard gas.
If we indeed see World War III, this time all bets will be off. I would expect the use of tactical nuclear weapons on the battlefield. Hopefully we are not looking at intercontinental nukes.

Trump v Hillary White House
Armstrong Economics Blog
Re-Posted Oct 18, 2016 by Martin Armstrong
QUESTION: Marty; As you have always said you are not Republican or Democrat because both parties are corrupt and the scandals seem to be endless on both sides. Hillary scandals involve money and Trump women, not unlike Bill. In many ways, this is like the Clintons, sex v money. So what do you really think would be the difference between a Trump White House and a Hillary White House?
Thanks
BM
ANSWER: The powers that be are filling every media outlet with the story Russia will hack the election, so if Trump wins, it will be declared a fake. There is no possible way they will allow Trump to enter the White House. Trump is against nation building, which is the only real power these crazy people want. They are blaming Russia to set the stage for war. There is no way to identify a true professional hacker. So it cannot be proven that it was Russia. This is the excuse to deny Trump the White House regardless of the vote. This is the real agenda. It’s in play right now. Open your eyes. They need the media to sell this story.
That aside, the candidates are anything but traditional and far from ideal. They are trying to paint Trump as a sleaze as they did to Bill with Monica, despite having nothing to do with his qualifications. The peak in government was clearly on time 2015.75 and this is part of the crash and burn. Hillary has abandoned the “America’s First Family” pitch from 2008 as if they were royalty. It doesn’t fly with Bill’s escapades these days.
To run for office today, you really have to be out of your mind or you cannot care what people think about you I suppose. The joke with Hillary is we might as well vote for her because she will not die; she will keep running until she becomes the first woman president if it kills Bill. Trump, they say just wants to put “Trump” in neon lights above the White House.
Meanwhile, I have been warning that Trump’s rise has been all about corrupt government — the outsider v establishment. Now, USA Today has reported a poll that reveals the number one concern in America is none other than “corrupt politicians.” This is what we get, and we deserve it, for there are still people who believe in Hillary simply because she is a woman or a Democrat. At least inside the Republican Party it has been outright civil war.
Although the computer shows Trump should win against all odds, this is obviously like BREXIT. The polls are rigged, 99% of the media is bought and paid for, and it is to the point where CNN hands questions to Hillary in advance. Nevertheless, I remain skeptical that they would allow Trump to take office. Look, the computer projected BREXIT would win. I was personally skeptical about that for they were trying to rig that vote as well. The computer was correct and I was wrong. Career politicians have way too much to risk. They are afraid Trump will go on TV and tell the truth about various bills they stuff in compensation for their friends and family. Trump is too much of a wildcard for them to allow him to take an office with a veto pen. I would vote for Trump only to see such chaos unleashed on Capitol Hill.
Hillary will do whatever the establishment dictates. She will go along with World War III and I do believe Obama is ratcheting up the stakes as he tried in Syria and lost. So this time he needs Russia and a direct confrontation to get the backing. Emails have come out showing that Saudi Arabia and Qatar have been funding ISIS. Why? I explained in the Cycle of War Part II that this is a civil war in Islam — Sunni against Shia. ISIS is Sunni and they are trying to topple Syria and Iran because they are Shia. Plus, there is more oil in the Golan Heights than in Saudi Arabia and that may be occupied by Israel, but it is Syrian territory. What oil company is involved? Genie. Who is on the board of directors of Genie Oil? Dick Cheney.
So what I see as the big difference between a Hillary v Trump White House is W-A-R. It looks like Obama is already poking Russia to intentionally goat them into a confrontation. He called Russia a “regional power,” deliberately trying to demean them. Some people have said Trump would spout out something stupid and start a war. Well, the alarmists about Trump in this regard are just too biased to open their eyes. Obama is deliberately trying to provoke war which is a hidden agenda going on here as well. This reminds me of Mark Anthony in Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar: “Cry ‘Havoc!’ and let slip the dogs of war.” The main difference is Trump is anti-nation building and that is why the establishment hates him so much. It appears they will start a war to ensure they continue this policy of nation building that gave us Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Syria.
One Hillary diehard writes that Trump is a “buffoon” and war is coming anyhow so Hillary is our man. Well, get ready then, because this war will require a lot of boots on the ground and the talk behind the curtain is that the draft will be reinstated and the age limit will be 40 since the birth rate has declined. Some have even suggested with Hillary in charge, feminists will rule since they think women can a do whatever a man can do, so get ready for the draft applying to women as well. So you better start jogging and get in shape. You will get your wish.
The problem with this dream coming true is that it is really a nightmare. We are not the only species to wage war. Some ants storm rivals and take their young to be slaves, which sound like the Romans. Perhaps war is simply tucked deep inside human nature and leaps out now and again like swarms of locusts who come as solitary individuals that suddenly swarm together. They say serotonin in the brain triggers a dramatic set of changes that cause locusts to breed abundantly and then swarm. Perhaps we have the same problem as a species!
Did the ECM Pick the Date of the War in Syria?

When Russia invaded Syria on the very day of the Economic Confidence Model, it signaled that Syria would be a focal point of this wave. Clearly, 2015.75 was the peak in government and we can see this from the rise of Trump and the anti-establishment vote that has produced perhaps the most insane political election in history. The fact that 63% distrust Hillary, which is greater than any president in history who has won, is just indescribable.
Assad has come out and stated publicly, “The West, especially the US, did not stop the Cold War even after the collapse of the Soviet Union.”
I cannot disagree with him. When I’ve asked why Russia is our enemy, the response used to be that they were Communists. Now, the reply is, well, they are Russian. Nobody really seems to know. Assad also came out and said that there was a sense of a third World War hanging in the air in Syria. Last week, Russian President Putin signed an agreement with Assad’s government to allow permanent deployment of Russian military forces in Syria. So that is it.

This entire mess is over oil. I have warned that this dispute simply began when Qatar wanted to build a pipeline through Syria to reach Europe and compete with Russia. Assad declined and now we have Saudi Arabia and Qatar funding Sunni terrorist groups to overthrow Assad, who is Shia, as confirmed in Hillary’s hacked emails. Even before the release of Hillary’s emails, there was evidence building that Saudi Arabia was funding the insurrections against Syria.

It was just one year after Qatar’s proposal that Assad began negotiations for another pipeline plan with Iran, which would carry Iranian gas to Europe across Iraq and Syria. Russia endorsed this project since it would clearly have more control over gas flow rather than the U.S. linked Qatar.
I understand that some people have said I have been advising Qatar behind the curtain. Yes, I had contact with the royal family of Qatar. Yes, I was a friend of Sheikh Saud bin Mohammed al-Thani who was a member of the Royal family of Qatar. Yes, he came to our office to see me a few weeks before he died in 2014. Yes, I visited him at his home in London. Yes, he offered Qatar as the headquarters for our operation. But we were friends simply because we shared collecting interests and politics was second.
Since I have focused on forecasting the world, I have come to meet some of the most amazing people around the world. Ultimately, everyone wanted to know what Socrates was saying. So in this regard, I have always had good inside sources. But I have not advised Qatar with regard to Syria or this pipeline project. I have been aware of both, but I was not involved in any strategic advising in this regard. We were personal friends because I had built the largest and most complete collection of coins to reconstruct the world economy. Qatar was always trying to get me to sell. That was it.
Needless to say, I am deeply concerned with the events to follow since this has lined up with the ECM to the day.

Montesquieu, who influenced the Founding Fathers in creating the Constitution, met the political leader and soldier known as the Prince Eugene of Savoy (1663-1736). The political discussions between these two men helped Montesquieu understand the evils of government and forged the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution and the right to bear arms. The Prince of Savoy was considered, even by Napoleon, as one of the seven greatest strategists in military history. He fought against the Turks (1683-1688, 1697, 1715-1718) and he fought against the French in the War of the Grand Alliance (1689-1691). He was also the teacher of Frederick the Great of Prussia (b 1712; 1740–1786) who he shaped into a brilliant military strategist.
The Prince of Savoy also fought in the War of the Spanish Succession (1701-1714). Nonetheless, jealousy attached to his accomplishments and he was plagued by a rumor that he was really the illegitimate son of King Louis XIV of France, which he perpetually denied. Yet, Louis XIV was always ashamed of such offspring and he restrained the prince’s ambitions as if he was perhaps his son. So after 20 years of living in Paris and Versailles, he left France and offered his talent to Holy Roman Emperor Leopold I (1640-1705) who was fighting the Turks. He distinguished himself in the siege of Vienna in 1683 and his military career was born.
The Prince of Savoy acquired brilliant skill and wisdom that allowed him to see that military victory was merely an instrument for achieving political ends. He was Europe’s most formidable general who was wounded 13 times, yet always faced a world of cunning foes with conspirators at his back, which he regarded as the “hereditary curse” of Austria. He served three emperors: Leopold I, Joseph I, and Charles VI. Of these three men, Prince of Savoy considered that the first had been a father, the second a brother, but with the third, he was just the hired help.

He was a truly brilliant man of many talents. The Prince of Savory came to see standing armies as evil, for they were easily used because of the expense of keeping them. He came to see that there should be NO armies and that was the only way to reduce war. The brilliant insight of the Prince of Savoy greatly influenced Montesquieu, for this was his source that it laid the foundation for the right to bear arms, as the Second Amendment to the United States constitution. The underlying idea was to eliminate standing armies that feed the cycle of war.
The Prince of Savory was also a student of history. He understood that the early days of Rome were based upon citizen militias. The story of Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus reflected him coming from his farm to lead the army defending Rome and then returning to his land. This was such a profound story that even George Washington was part of the Order of the Cincinnati.
Indeed, there is a tremendous risk of standing armies and building huge defense systems. These people naturally want to play with the toys they create. It would give them such pleasure as if this were some video game for children.
On the other side of the coin, there are rumors that Russia has a whole new class of weapons that nobody knows about or quite understands, which were designed to defeat the American anti-missile defense system. If the US wants to engage Russia in the Middle East and compel them to invade through Iraq crossing the Tigris and Euphrates rivers, there is little doubt that Russia might use tactical nuclear weapons in the field to defend their troops.
If the US and Europe are foolish enough to enter that venue with boots on the ground, we may see China aid Russia since its economy is turning down and it would distract the population from an economic decline. China borders Afghanistan right next to Iraq. It appears that the US is backing the Sunni (including ISIS) and Russia has taken the side of the Shia. Keep in mind that both Russia and China can send armies in directly over land.
The stars are beginning to align, as they say, and the winds of war may be upon us to divert the people from revolution due to the collapse of socialism and all its promises.
War becomes a tool of conquest or diversion. We are in the latter stage of this motive. The world economy is crumbling before our eyes. There is not much we can do about it because governments are desperate to hold on to power. There can be no reform when that entails a loss of power on their end. They will fight until the very last drop of blood. The problem, though, it’s always our blood rather than theirs. I agree with the Prince of Savoy — standing armies are ultimately used.
Turkey Predicts Syrian ‘Proxy War’ Will Lead to War Between US, Russia
I almost guarantees war as you have Russian and US troops fighting in the same area on opposing sides; some what like Vietnam but much much worse. as the US is trying to topple Assad and Russia has military bases there that will end up being attacked by us back forces. If the conflict is not stopped its very hard to see that it does not go bad.

Russia Advising its citizens How to Prepare for Nuclear War Warning US Intends to Attack

Just as Obama keeps ratcheting up the allegations that Russia will hack the elections to ensure Trump wins, in Russia they are warning their citizens that war is coming and it maybe nuclear. They are warning that NATO is retrofitting tactical aircraft for the use of nuclear weapons, “which is sign of preparation for war with Russia”. A whole website has gone up in Russia dedicated to the World War III and one offering advice and how to prepare.
ABC News is reporting that Russian Television Warns of Nuclear War Amid US Tensions. US mainstream press is not questioning what is going on when we have a President who got the Noble Peace Prize. They are not looking at Obama floating all sorts of stories that a Trump victory will be proof of a Russian cyber attack. The Washington Post pitches the story that Russia wants war. Meanwhile The Daily Mail reports that the Kremlin calls Joe Biden’s threat to ‘cyber strike’ Russia ‘unprecedented’ and pledges to protect itself from the “aggressive, unpredictable United States”. CNN has reported that Russia and the US have moved past a Cold War to unpredictable confrontation.
Personally, I was just a kid in 1962. But I remember walking with my friends discussing the Cuban Missile Crisis which last for a 13-day period (October 16–28, 1962). That was the closest we had come to World War III until today. Confrontation between the United States and the Soviet Union concerning Soviet ballistic missile deployment in Cuba even mad kids pay attention. Along with being televised worldwide, it was the closest the Cold War came to escalating into a full-scale nuclear war. A 8,6 year plot from that event completed the 51.6 year wave terrifyingly on schedule – 2014.
That is when the new Cold War began with sanctions imposed on Russia. It has not worked and only escalated the entire confrontation. Sorry to say, this is on time.
