Reminder, the Swamp is trying to distract you with the scamdemic and planned riots…

Lost amid the ongoing protests and riots was former assistant attorney general Rod Rosenstein’s testimony. He signed off on the FISA warrant that led to Mueller’s Russia witch hunt, but he never bothered to read the warrant—he merely rubber stamped it! This is typical of the politicization of our security agencies and justice system under Obama. He used his partisan operatives to help him illegally spy on Trump before and after Trump’s election.

This is treason and there should be consequences.

The lying fake news media did not and will not report on this. They remain focused on taking down Trump, whom they constantly smear as a ‘racist’ while extolling the (non existent) virtues of Obama.

Obama’s shadow government remains in place. The swamp fights to remain deep and powerful. It’s time to drain the swamp. LOCK THEM UP!

Don’t ‘Take a Knee’…’Take A Stand’!

Don’t ‘Take a Knee’…’Take A Stand’!

We are in an unbelievable season where our nation’s cities are being attacked and held hostage by shipped-in, paid rioters and protesters.  We are under siege with anarchists hiding behind George Floyd, a few bad cops and the endless sea of acting out leftists who hate Trump simply because he breathes air.

We are seeing some burning flags in protests and the infamous ‘take a knee’ movement is growing with taking a knee cropping up at public spaces,  thanks to the NFL and other leagues at more sporting events.  Just last week, Roger Goodell reversed his position about not supporting NFL players ‘taking a knee’ during the traditional singing of the Star-Spangled Banner.  Nascar did the same, allowing drivers and teams to ‘take a knee’ during the national anthem.

Now, rather than show a moment of respect during the performance of the Star-Spangled Banner and traditionally standing with your hand over your heart, the players and drivers now have the right to ‘take a knee’ if they want to and protest against the Star-Spangled Banner and Flag.

Not only did the NFL and NASCAR not lead with this horrible and un-American decision, but they have betrayed hundreds of thousands of service men and women who have given their lives for our freedom. They have stirred the fire of even more disrespect and hatred against our flag and country that will cascade down through all our schools and other public events.

Barack Obama should be thrilled about more NFL players and NASCAR drivers taking a knee during the national anthem.  It is just one more ‘apology tour’ that Obama (thankfully) wasn’t able to finish doing.  Shame, embarrassment and disrespect for the flag, God and freedom is what the wet knee on the grass is saying.  Those knees are pressing on the necks of our fallen heroes and the countless people of all colors who made it possible for the NFL superstars to make millions of dollars and say what they please.  All the knee on the grass will do is give a player grass stains and reveal his arrogance, lack of understanding and treachery for what is real and great.

George Floyd was horribly killed by a knee to the neck causing him to suffocate and die.  Countless leftists, and America haters are now taking a knee to the neck of our freedom, our heritage, our flag and sacred traditions by acting out.

It was just ‘Flag Day’ and I sang ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ in church with my music friend Cy.  I did this after sharing the miraculous story that led up to the penning of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ by Francis Scott Key.”  What the ‘Take a Knee’ folks don’t seem to understand is that a young America was fighting for freedom against the monster of Great Britain who out gunned us at every turn.  After the signing of America into existence in 1776, Britain started losing ground in the years that followed but they still attacked everywhere they could.  In August 1814, they took vengeance on Washington DC and viciously bombed the White House and many federal buildings.  President James Madison and his wife had to flee the city.

A group of 19 British warships loaded with cannons and the best weapons available at the time planned another major attack on the military base protecting Baltimore, Fort McHenry.  They had collected many American prisoners who were held on their ships during the previous months.  One of the prisoners asked a Baltimore attorney, Francis Scott Key to negotiate their release.  He was able to do this over a week’s time.  However, the British said before they released the prisoners, they were going to attack Fort McHenry.

As the attack started in September 1814, bombs all aimed at the fort,  lit up the night sky from 19 British ships.  The fort flew a large 32 by 42-foot flag out in front. The prisoners on board and Francis Scott key could only pray and watch the bombs exploding on the fort all night long.  As the sun rose, they were shocked and tearfully excited that the massive flag still waved proudly in the wind and all the Fort walls were still up.  Out of 1,000 soldiers in the fort, only 4 were killed.

The Fort had no comparable firepower to defend themselves. They could only wait and pray.  Once the British saw that they hadn’t destroyed the coveted fort and flag, they released the prisoners and left.  In the months that followed they signed a treaty with the new America and went home.  Francis Scott Key, in the days that followed penned ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ as a testament of that miraculous night and the flag that still stood.  God Almighty obviously intervened.

It is high time to stop ‘taking a knee’ and time to ‘take a stand.’  Join me and take a stand for our God, our Constitution, our freedoms, our real history, our flag and legacy.  Be not ashamed but be thankful and proud, acknowledging God’s hand in our making and survival.

No more caution and hidden carefulness about praying…. pray boldly and without shame.  Stand with respect and attention when the Star-Spangled Banner is sung.  Don’t wither to a knee.

No more 50-yard line, compromised apologies.  Stand and worship.  Stand and pray. Stand and make a real difference and stand for your country.

Take a knee only if you want grass stained pants.

Stand.

Destructive Upside Down Politics
And How Common Sense Returns

Destructive Upside Down Politics
And How Common Sense Returns

Throughout history, prosperity has been built upon individual freedom and limited government. And now, the global economy has suffered the fastest setback – ever – the first caused by monstrous bureaucratic intrusions. The record includes many economic busts, but the only comparable collapse occurred in London in 1665. Shockingly, the important trade center suffered the Bubonic Plague with some 25 percent of the population dying. Naturally, finance and business collapsed, but not by destructive government restrictions. Diarist Samuel Pepys, recorded on October 16, 1665:

“But Lord, how empty the streets are, and melancholy, so many poor sick people in the streets, full of sores and so many sad stories overheard as I walk…And they tell me in Westminster there is never a physician, and but one apothecary left, all being dead – But that there are great hopes of a great decrease this week. God send it.”

Today’s economic world is upside down

The ultimate in ironies is that the path to freedom began in towns in the 1200s and became one of the keys to ending the serfdom of feudalism. But through the last century, cities have been corrupted into destroying not just prosperity but the abilities to create it. Resulting in the modern welfare state, with both reluctant funders and recipients becoming serfs.

Today’s economic world is upside down.

Cities have changed from creating prosperity through competence to confiscating the other guy’s prosperity through political power. And recently mobs have physically destroyed businesses and buildings; the means of making a living.

The world is now facing the equivalent of a real Plague lockdown for a death rate similar to the Hong Kong Flu in 1968. Such disproportion is due to control freaks using any crisis to impose authority.

A long-running government promotion has been the notion that the Fed can prevent recessions. There have been 18 since it started in 1914. Another pitch has been that without taxes going to the United Nations, for the very first time in our planet’s history, warming is harmful to life. The latest control gambit has been to use an influenza to shut down the world’s economy, region by region.

If that shock was not bad enough, American activists turned protests into riots, which could be part of an insurrection.

Obviously, with the economy so plagued, the cure has been worse than the disease. And in New York and other cities, the panic was that there would not be enough hospitable beds, so COVID cases were sent to nursing homes. A mindless tragedy. But lockdowns have curtailed regular traffic to general hospitals such that doctors and nurses have been laid off.

Small towns or remote communities did not suffer the worst of the disease but suffered the almost full infliction of authoritarian remedies

Military medical ships and field hospitals were provided but not needed. In a hysterical rush, politicians made one impractical decision after another. Soon to be widely condemned. In the early 1600s, bureaucratic errors were condemned as Tyrannical Duncery.

Small towns or remote communities did not suffer the worst of the disease but suffered the almost full infliction of authoritarian remedies.

And this illustrates the danger of upside-down politics. No longer governable, too many cities are troubled. Elsewhere—as in “Fly-Over Country”—folk are still competently self-governing, but seriously unemployed by intrusion coming from the cities.

Beginning in the 1200s, cities offered the escape from Medieval Marxism, otherwise known as feudalism. Thus, the renaissance of prosperity, which was enhanced by the Medieval Warm Period. Leaving the manor and going to town was the path to freedom. Getting there was one thing, but a serf had to be competent enough to earn a living. For a year.

And over centuries such meritocracy worked, resulting in magnificent cities and individual prosperity, each according to his ability.

Perhaps Rome anticipated today’s corruption. Free trade in the forum was symbolically offset by political atrocities committed for mobs in the Colosseum. Eventually the ungovernable governing classes trashed the economy. Not being in a natural trading location, when tribute stopped flowing the city’s population collapsed. Rather impressively from a million in 300 AD to 30,000 in 550.

Florence arose at a natural trading point and determined to be free became wealthy. And ordinary citizens did well. While Florence enjoyed magnificent buildings, there was no colosseum for authoritarian ritual.

By the 1500s, Antwerp had become the financial center. Again, voluntary and what was it like to live there in 1570? Letters by merchants tell us. No mention of stadiums.

Young men in advancing in business, would take up golf and get involved in charities. A French merchant wrote that individuals could safely walk the streets at night. The moment he arrived his serfs became free. You could criticize the government. And what’s more—you could take all your money with you when you left!

Sovereignty of the individual and limited government has been corrupted by today’s “liberals”

Today’s dictates of the politically correct have forced tiresome restrictions upon free speech.

As with today, freedom was deplored by authoritarians who controlled the Spanish Netherlands. Infamously called the “Spanish Fury”, troops massacred some 7,000 Antwerp citizens in 1576.

Eventually and voluntarily, London became the next financial and commercial center of the world. Science and engineering flourished. Stadiums were built for football.

And prosperity grew. Becoming practically and philosophically its finest into the late 1800s and described as Nineteenth-Century Liberalism.

Regrettably, sovereignty of the individual and limited government has been corrupted by today’s “liberals” to the opposite. The state and its ambitious custodians have abused the profound concept of an independent press into a colosseum run by the MSM. As unrelenting promoters of intrusive government.

Some consider that having the seat of government close to the center of finance is practical. Business sense would guide political ambition. In America it was “government by the people”, but it was Alexander Hamilton who arbitrarily placed the seat of government in the then demographic center of the country. Sadly, those bucolic fields have become a corrupt swamp. Which is confirmed. While hosting very little business or investment acumen, D.C. is America’s wealthiest region.

Obviously with political leaders in cities using hysterical threats to dominate ordinary folk as well as productive businesses, it really is a political economy that is upside down. In the past, change was forced by popular uprisings, responding to too much in-your-face and in-your-wallet bureaucrats.

The last successful one was in 1989 when tearing down the Berlin Wall anticipated the collapse of murderous Communist governments.

History is ripe for another flipping reform.

George Washington’s Prophetic Warnings About Enemies Within

What’s needed in the Trump battle plan is accelerated reform of the K-12 public school system, the universities and the media to ensure more balance and the upholding all the protections associated with the First Amendment.

George Washington’s Prophetic Warnings About Enemies Within

President Trump just delivered the 2020 convocation speech at West Point, congratulating the cadet graduates and reminding the world that the U.S. has rebuilt its military forces with such high-tech capability as to have unchallenged superiority in any theatre.  While the President’s speech was entirely appropriate, it is ironic that it comes at a time when it’s wholly apparent to most observers that America’s greatest threat now is not external, but internal. And while the response to the recent urban chaos and violence requires more effective National Guard, police action and law enforcement tactics, strategically what is most important are soft power initiatives that invalidate false narratives and reduce misunderstanding and division in the country, which would in turn diminish issues and opportunities for exploitation by bad actors.

In addition to Antifa, Black Lives Matter (BLM), and the “swarms” of lesser known leftist and anarchist militants, many of the crazies in the streets are ignorant opportunistic hoodlums. The elected officials who have enabled the chaos created by the aforementioned in various municipalities are the product of higher education institutions that have failed to inculcate a basic appreciation of the American system and an understanding of the responsibilities required to protect freedom and rights in ways that maintain order, protect property and keep things working. Their views are reinforced and sustained by most of the media—in both traditional channels and the social media outlets—in ways that perpetuate politically correct narratives being accepted by a large portion of our population.

The chief problem in need of a solution is succinctly stated by Kyle Shideler,  the director for homeland security and counterterrorism at the Center for Security Policy:  “With the successful promulgation of the radical message [the narrative] of America as bastion of white supremacy by presidential candidates, cable news anchors, and generations of tenured professors, Antifa is unlikely to lack for recruits and support—rhetorical or otherwise—any time in the near future.”

One of the important goals of these narratives is to reinforce white-guilt and self-doubt, resulting in large sectors of society becoming demoralized and paralyzed. And this has serious consequences when in many urban localities, hostility and disrespect toward police undermines their morale and determination to do their job to enforce the law.  And when police can’t do their job, they too get demoralized, and resignations and early retirements go up. The outcome of all this is invariably diminished public safety and increased lawlessness, which is the radical left’s goal.

As it stands, leniency—after successfully neutralizing the police and committing horrendous destruction of property, ransacking big box retailers, upscale shopping districts, and looting the very stores and brands that symbolize the fruit of what law and order and capitalist success bring—empowers the left to do more and bigger things that advance their long-term goal, which is the total transformation of America.

Compounding the problem of bringing about a corrective and restoring balance is the fact that competing views and alternative narratives are being increasingly marginalized, censured and blocked. And we are now at a point when Americans who exercise their first amendment rights to express views that go against the dominant politically correct narratives are not just silenced through shaming and bullying, but increasingly they are being fired from corporate jobs, professional sports teams and other employers and venues.  The First Amendment that is at the heart of our Constitutional freedom and differentiates America from almost every other county is being progressively diminished.  And when that freedom is gone, surely others will soon follow.

Is it a coincidence that theCOVID-19 shutdown and attendant nullification of Americans’ Constitutional rights have been followed by an outbreak of urban warfare and assault on police and authority?  We can’t know, but it’s clear that the leaders of Antifa and BLM didn’t miss a beat in organizing immediately after the death of George Floyd, and in subsequent days, continued to work in a well-funded and highly coordinated fashion. They targeted cities, carried out the logistics of transporting people, arranging for the delivery of pallets of bricks, bats and gasoline to break windows and start fires, knowing that the energy levels of non-affiliated urban hoodlums and opportunists after nearly three months of pent-up frustration from sheltering and being cooped up would likely result in extreme violence, destruction and looting.  It succeeded.

What this period of urban chaos and destruction has revealed is that the narratives that have turned Americans against America have worked to increase both the number of street revolutionaries and the numbers who are passive in the face of the anti-law and order, anti-business and anti-American violence.  And we should assume that leaders of Antifa, BLM and other radical groups see this success as confirmation to move forward with next steps to seed the collapse of America and gain more power.

Washington’s Penetrating articulation of three threats to freedom and the republican form of American democracy

While they applaud concessions like shifting public spending and defunding the police, the radical left finds its greatest motivation in actions that move the country closer to the end game. A central part of that is to delegitimize American institutions of authority by erasing and deconstructing history, so as to further disorient and disconnect Americans from their heritage.  That’s why targeting the desecration, tearing down and removal of national monuments is an important next objective.

In Wilmington, Delaware city officials took the statue of Columbus down before anyone could dismember or destroy it.  In St. Paul, Minnesota and Richmond, Virginia statues of Columbus were toppled by radical activists.  In Boston, the statue of Columbus was beheaded, jihadi-style.  It matters not that Columbus was an evangelist and strong advocate of Christian kindness. Neither does it matter that he never saw nor set foot on the North American continent, and therefore never enslaved or abused any indigenous native Americans. With the white supremacist colonial narrative having long been established, Columbus is an easy target.  But make no mistake: toppling Columbus is just a stepping stone to desecrating and removal of even more high value targets such as the memorials and statues of founders George Washington and Thomas Jefferson, who were slave-holders.

At his West Point address, President Trump paid tribute to George Washington, whose statue can be found on the campus, noting that Washington called West Point “the most important post in America.”  After serving two terms as the nation’s first president, Washington renounced serving a third term and left office with a “Farewell Address,” in which he stated his belief that the greatest threat to America would be internal and not a military threat from overseas.  President Trump would do well to develop a battle plan for victory against internal enemies around that Farewell Address—what Washington called “a warning from a departing friend.”

While prophetic in nature and reprinted more than the Declaration of Independence, the Farewell Address, was a penetrating articulation of three threats to freedom and the republican form of American democracy:

  • the failure of institutions to keep people informed and enlightened;
  • the problems of factions and hyper-partisanship;
  • and the decline of religious obligation and national morality.

Applied to today, what’s needed in the Trump battle plan is accelerated reform of the K-12 public school system, the universities and the media to ensure more balance and the upholding all the protections associated with the First Amendment. Obviously, this means individuals cannot be fired for exercising their free speech rights, but equally important it would help citizens and aspiring politicians develop critical faculties and become better informed and enlightened. Second, more can be done outside public policy initiatives to elevate the value of religious obligation and practice, which strengthen families, mitigate juvenile delinquency and crime, and provide a higher purpose and meaning in life where bigotry has no place and tolerance is more abundant. All of this over time would provide a more enlightened population from which leaders would arise and get elected better informed and equipped for bipartisan cooperation around policies that actually solve problems.

The Silence of the Shepherds

Shepherds surrendered the Church to the State

The Silence of the Shepherds

Collectively, they put up little-to-no resistance to the State-ordered closure of their sanctuaries.

Technically, their congregations or denominations own the space, not them.  They are merely the shepherds of those who sit in pews, entrusted with leadership over the lambs, in religious matters.

The urban dictionary defines “folded like a cheap suit” to mean: “To give in on something you felt so strongly about only a moment ago”.

Most clergy folded like cheap suits when their state government gave them the order to shut down worship

Most clergy folded like cheap suits when their state government gave them the order to shut down worship.
Now, as many re-open, it will be time to do a damage assessment.

What was the impact of closure on church finances? How many of those who could not come, will now come back? While the bricks and mortar churches were closed, how many parishioners found meaning in voyeuristic participation in remote worship on live TV, or in YouTube streaming? Or via radio broadcasts, that flood the airwaves on Sunday mornings?

Meanwhile, some advantages will have come to those who adjusted to remote worship.

No travel time to church. No worries about social distancing. No passing the collection plate.  No dress codes.  Attendance permitted in P.J.’s, even underwear.  Breakfast during the sermon on a TV tray, or a coffee table while watching a Joel Osteen wannabee. Or, in larger churches, the regular preacher addressing a near empty room, may be perceived as only pretending to be speaking to a live audience.

More than a few who once sat in the pews will have, during their months away, grown accustomed to distance worship as equivalent in value to live participation in a large room with friends, in spaces where, in small rural congregations, now deceased parents, aunts and uncles once sat.

Distance worship through a screen, with preachers in the company of working stage hands, deletes congregational singing.  But, then, in several of the old dying denominations, many have already found the liturgy redundant, and the hymns unsingable.

There was scant resistance from the shepherds when their flocks were divided and sequestered at home

Those legacy congregations that now offer “contemporary” worship as an option to the “traditional” format are logistically out-classed by large non-denominational churches that pioneered the contemporary motif decades long ago. They often hire stage talent. Because it’s partly show-business.

By and large, America’s clergypersons didn’t challenge the government logic of keeping Walmart, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Home Depot, Target, Kroger Grocery Stores, et.al. open and well-stocked with shoppers who move around the aisles often within a foot of each other, while church sanctuaries, like that pictured above, were closed, to all but the church mouse.

There was scant resistance from the shepherds when their flocks were divided and sequestered at home—except for essential trips.  Church not being essential.

How hard would it have been to social distance in a sanctuary capable of seating, say, 400-600 with parishioners sitting six feet apart? And masked. Only a minority sing anyway, and often not all that well. But it’s the effort that counts.

All those seats usually filled on Easter Sunday, could have been spread out over multiple assigned shifts of attendance.  As many as necessary. Those with last names beginning with A-H come at X time. Those I-O at Y time. Etc. It wasn’t impossible. But it wasn’t at all, because the shepherds complied when the Government ordered.

The shepherds surrendered their flocks. Because they were told to by the State

Except at the Temple Baptist Church in Greenville, Mississippi.  There worshippers had been attending church while seated in their vehicles in the church parking lot, listening to their preacher’s sermons on radios.  But then Mayor Erick Simmons issued an executive order—it’s what executives do to feel important—in mid-April, that closed Temple Baptist for both in-person and drive-in church services.  Those who defied the order were fined $500.

The 2020 shutdown of worship in America’s churches should end, once and for all, the notion of separation of Church & State—however you define it.

The shepherds surrendered their flocks. Because they were told to by the State.

It was a milestone event in American history. Though it’s hardly been noticed.

Arguably, the best textbook on “A History of Christianity” written in the 20th Century was by Kenneth Scott Latourette(1884-1968).  He wrote this about the early church (pp. 261-262):

“The various churches, including the Catholic Church, creations of Christianity, and the visible vehicles by which it was transmitted, were clearly institutions.  Even before Christianity was accorded toleration by the state, and while it was still subject to chronic or intermittent persecutions, not a few of its bishops were accused of striving for prestige and were entering into intrigues and exerting the kind of power which was akin to that of the dignitaries of the state. Indeed, it is a question whether any visible institution, especially if it becomes large, can avoid falling victim in part to trends in the direction of the power which crucified Jesus.

The danger to Christianity was augmented when the state made its peace with the Church. Until then, Christians tended to keep aloof from government and many, perhaps the majority of the Christians, believed that loyalty to Christ was inconsistent with holding civil or military office or serving in the army.  Beginning with Constantine, that attitude was weakened…Christian officials had to make choices for the state among courses none of which was in full conformity with Christian principles, and to take action which entailed the use of the kind of force on which the state was built. Emperors exercised their power to interfere in the affairs of the Church.”

So it went for months in America. As the Shepherds surrendered the Church to the State.

Patriot’s Response: ‘Stop Talking About Anarchists & DO Something About Them

Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan's Summer of LoveCanada Free Press dear friend, columnist Tony Mangan, ‘The Cowboy Poet’ has some sage advice for ‘Team Trump 2020’  on their latest Law & Order fundraiser.

“It’s past time for Democrat Mayors and Governors to get tough. Violent thugs are running rampant – these people are ANARCHISTS,” says the fundraiser.

“While the Fake News has been inciting hatred and chaos, President Trump is working around the clock to restore LAW AND ORDER in these communities where liberal leadership has FAILED.

“It’s time for this madness to END, but President Trump cannot do it alone. He needs to know he has your support during this unprecedented time.

“We’re sending him a list of EVERY PATRIOT who steps up and publicly shows their support, and we want to make sure he sees YOUR NAME.”

Says the ‘Cowboy Poet’ never known to mince words with all due respect:

“You people are poor fund raisers.  You should work for the Democrats, their rank and file are stupid enough to go for this.

“If the protesters are anarchists (and I think they are), why are not the people who are supporting them (Democrat mayors and governors) being arrested for aiding and abetting the anarchists—as they themselves are also ANARCHISTS”.

“Anybody?!

With America still burning in fires set by angry, out of control mobs, and residents of some downtown streets of Seattle being held hostage by CHAZ (Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone),  isn’t it time to stop pussyfooting around by just talking about the anarchists instead of DOING something about them?

Over to you, Mr. President!

America Is Gone With The Wind!

This is not America, the country we have today is becoming hell.

America Is Gone With The Wind

The United States of America will never be the same, it will be a much worse place to live and work.  Amid a three-month pandemic there has been a three-week cultural revolution, ignited by the brutal death of African American George Floyd in Minneapolis, that has changed our country forever.

Our country is a great experiment, a diverse nation of 50 states united by a founding document that enshrines God given rights that people in other countries can only dream of realizing. The United States has become not only the world’s only superpower, but also a country that has been a beacon of hope and freedom to the world.

Evil forces are succeeding in permanently changing our great country

Unfortunately, evil forces are succeeding in permanently changing our great country. It was difficult enough for the nation to withstand its first national economic shutdown, but the troubles were multiplied when the nation witnessed the gruesome killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer.

Floyd’s death was captured on video and it sparked nationwide protests. The peaceful marchers were soon overwhelmed by looters and rioters who wanted to burn and steal. Mayhem was encouraged across the nation as liberal media outlets celebrated the demonstrations as a justifiable outpouring of anger after Floyd’s death.

The results were catastrophic as thousands of businesses were burned, looted, and destroyed. In Minneapolis, the carnage was breathtaking as 360 businesses were damaged or destroyed by an uncontrollable throng of criminals.

Sadly, in many cities, the police were resistant to engage outlaws, stung by accusations of brutality and racism. The National Guard had to be deployed in 23 states to quell the violence.

According to the U.S. Attorney General, the demonstrators were supported by the radical extremist group, Antifa, along with other leftist organizations. The U.S. Department of Justice is investigating how the demonstrations could multiply so quickly across the country. There is plenty to investigate, such as mysterious busloads of demonstrators being driven to protest sites. Also, there are conflicting reports about pallets of bricks oddly appearing in downtown areas.

Tragically, the victims of the madness were often African Americans. Dozens of people were seriously injured or killed by the rioters. For example, an African American St. Louis security guard and retired police captain, David Dorn, was killed outside of the pawn shop he was trying to protect.

The political left is following the maxim “never let a good crisis go to waste.”

While Floyd was remembered with multiple funerals and worldwide expressions of grief, Dorn and other victims of the rioters have been practically ignored.

The political left is following the maxim “never let a good crisis go to waste.” The attacks on businesses and innocent people have also developed into regular attacks on police officers. The battle cry of many of these protesters is to “defund the police.”

Such a policy would be total lunacy. While some police officers are racist or unstable and need to be removed from their departments, the vast majority do a tremendous job of protecting and serving the public. We need to properly pay and honor our police officers instead of attacking them.

A country without “law and order” is a country that will soon disintegrate. This is exactly the goal of some of the radical left protesters. In Seattle, a seven-block area of the city has been seized by anti-government demonstrators. The area has been renamed the Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, nicknamed CHAZ.

Before relinquishing their hold on the area, the protesters have stated that their list of 30 demands must be met. The list includes “the abolishment of imprisonment,” and the “abolition” of the Seattle Police Department. Instead of removing these anarchists from her city, the Mayor of Seattle views the protesters as patriots who are having a “block party,” and a “summer of love.”

The radical left not only wants the police to be disbanded and defunded, but they also want all monuments to “white supremacy” destroyed. Thus, mobs across the country have spent the past three weeks pulling down monuments to Christopher Columbus, confederate generals and any individuals deemed to be offensive in any way. No police were stopping these hooligans, who should all be arrested for the destruction of property.

This cultural jihad is extending to the universities where professors who do not parrot the correct talking points on these protests and the demands of the Black Lives Matter movement are being targeted, suspended, and fired.

Almost 300 companies, including Amazon, have expressed their support for Black Lives Matter

Almost 300 companies, including Amazon, have expressed their support for Black Lives Matter. Any Americans objecting or even saying “All Lives Matter” face the wrath of the mob. The victims include a Sacramento Kings broadcaster who was fired for such a tweet and a New Orleans Mardi Gras captain who is facing the total desertion of her krewe membership for daring to show support for “All Lives Matter.”

The mob has also succeeded in forcing the cancellation of two popular television shows, Cops and Live PD. Supposedly, the programs glorified police officers too much. Even more ominously, the Academy Award winning classic, Gone With the Wind, voted the most favorite American movie of all-time, has been removed from the film catalog at HBO Max. The censors at the network are busy crafting suitable language condemning the racism of the movie. Once that is finished, the movie will be returned to the airwaves, but this time with a disclaimer that will air before the movie begins so that audiences can be properly educated.

What is next America? It could be book burning or other draconian attempts to squelch free speech or free expression. In America today, only groupthink is allowed and anyone daring to have an opposing point of view will be ostracized, fired and it is not unimaginable to think, one day, imprisoned.

This is not America, the country we have today is becoming hell.

Dear Dad, You Were Right!

Away back in the year nineteen hundred and seventy, a bunch of us kids threw a rock concert in one of our city’s parks. We were raising money to help us beat the school board into allowing us boys to wear long hair in our high schools. My father, having seen the flyers around town, told me that I was absolutely not to attend the concert. And he told me that, in the event he discovered I had attended said concert, he would murder me. That being the case, you can certainly understand why I could not tell him that I had to attend—since I was one of the concert’s organizers. The day of the concert, a beautiful sunny Saturday, he and my mother drove into the park and up behind the big flatbed trailer we had rented for our bands’ sound stage. Our big generators could not be heard over the roar of the great rock music. My father left Mom sitting, got out of the car and strode determinedly toward my girlfriend and me. He politely asked me if he could have a word with me.

Dad was a prophet. At the time, I thought he was an idiotic relic

That Saturday, dozens of frisbees were flying at our tremendously successful gathering. There was a hint of marijuana smoke (still a BIG felony back then) mixed in with all the incense sticks smoldering amongst the thousands of attendees. Everybody must have donated at least a couple of bucks each because we wound up with about 10 grand in the kitty. We were elated. But, I was suddenly living what I then believed were probably my last moments of life on this earth. My dad and I walked over to one of the huge oak trees that sheltered that screaming semi trailer. And just short of yelling (in competing with the band playing) he narrowly looked at me and smiled and said, “You guys just don’t realize what sort of a horse you are dragging into our town.” Of course his allusion was to the Trojan Horse given by the Greeks to the Trojans—stuffed with fully armed Greek soldiers who would slip out of the horse that night and kill a bunch of drunken, sleepy Trojans. I looked at him and said (in my typically dizzying intellectual tone), “What exactly do you mean, Pop?” He said, “Everybody here has already forgotten why most of the guys my age went to Europe and fought Hitler. Trust me, by the time your grandchildren are old enough to start college, a lot of them will no longer have the sense to understand why we have locks on our doors.”

He was a prophet. At the time, I thought he was an idiotic relic. But he knew of what he spoke. And today we are living in the midst of a bunch of silver ponytails and idiots of all ages who don’t have the common sense to see that our actions these days have absolutely nothing to do with logic or even the most cursory knowledge of world history. As a society we are now entirely shaming the shed blood of our nation’s founders. And all the men and women who put themselves in harm’s way during the past nearly 300 years in ensuring our liberties—to them, we owe a bottomless apology. We have squandered the historically singular gift we are only inches away from completely losing. And the riots of looting pillagers we are watching every evening, before toddling off to our comfortable beds, have about as much to do with mourning the loss of a senselessly murdered American, as I, a six foot 10 inches tall stocky man, have in common with legendary gymnast Nadia Comăneci.

The events currently going down here in America are what the generations of our enemies—who don’t have a nodding acquaintance with the liberties we Americans daily take for granted—have been longing for since our inception. The silly myths and fairytales that have been pumped into our heads by a trillion warm televisions have successfully drowned out the reason big city’s downtown apartment dwellers have the array of deadbolts and chains on the cubicles they pay thousands of dollars rent for every month. Yes, it’s true that we can ride around in computer-driven taxis. We have sound systems that give our music a more accurate reproduction than when it was performed live. We have television monitors that deliver a clearer image than our retinas can differentiate from reality. We have boutique drugs that can lull us to sleep or seemingly give us enough momentary relief to justify living another day. But most of us all have lost sight of the FACT that mankind has never, in all its existence, been more blackhearted, filthy minded or cold-blooded than we are today. The devil, like a pool shark about to make his career shot, has at least all of America right in front of a corner pocket. And only a comparatively few can see that we are perfectly set up for a fall unprecedented in our wildest imaginings.

Politicians lend credence and give support to the ‘anarchists’

I never thought I would see the day when—after having watched several minutes of commonly available, precisely obvious video documentation of an elderly white-haired man feeling up all sorts of clearly uncomfortable little girls—that the very same man is now powerfully and respectfully proclaimed to be at least half our nation’s beloved favorite candidate for president. How in the world could such a thing happen? [I have explained that phenomenon in other stories which the reader should take the time to examine.] But if you had, just a few decades ago, told me in detail, about any number of the events now happening around us daily, I would have spit on the ground and sworn that you were out of your mind for making such insane predictions. Yet today my newspaper’s lead story photo shows a skinny reveler armed with his crowbar, standing on top of an abandoned police car with its windows smashed in and filthy words spray-painted on the doors and hood. And the horrid death of George Floyd is only a reason, but certainly not the excuse, for any of that. A colossally wicked human being (who happens to be white) dressed as a policeman – BECAUSE THE PEOPLE WHO GAVE HIM HIS UNIFORM WERE NOT PSYCHICS—killed a black man, and all of what’s left of our country is now effectively held hostage because most all of us have seemingly lost our ability to think rationally. But it gets worse …

Politicians lend credence and give support to the ‘anarchists’ (in this instance, rather like calling a rabid dog by a more respectful name) around our nation who are smiling as they ‘protest’ simply because they are bashing in store windows and ‘shopping’ without having to spend any money. And politicians, and movie stars, and all manner of contemporary ‘dignitaries’ are applauding these demons AND PROFITING BY IT mostly because the general public has gone mad and lost its ability to think rationally for more than an hour ahead. No, the bottom line—THE REAL TRUTH BEHIND THIS MESS—is that a very real devil saw his sweetest opportunity in a uniformed tyrant who never grew up, fatally bullying a gentle and sweet Christian man. And, just as satan thought he had won the day 2000 years ago when he crucified Jesus in a crowd of hypocritical priests, one of our Lord’s innocent, believing children was senselessly killed surrounded by a group of police who were equally as hypocritical as those devil-driven priests. And now much of America seems to be totally incensed because the people we trust to honestly report our news have further helped satan to use this evil tragedy to bring indictment on anything or anyone they want to paint with their lies and non sequitur sleight-of-hand.

Joe Biden will serve to do little more than grease the chute to total chaos and destruction

And, on top of all this, as I said in my last article, ‘has anyone yet given a proper answer to the coronavirus problem’? Jesus, in Luke chapter 21, Matthew 24 and elsewhere in Scripture talked about all the perplexing dilemmas preceding His second coming. Amongst His list of horrors, he mentions “PLAGUE AND PESTILENCE” as part of the problems accompanying the HARD-HEARTEDNESS of mankind, wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes and floods in diverse places—open your own Bible and read all about what is happening around us right now. And how many of us Christians have been regularly going to God and crying out for His glory, help and gospel to rescue a lost and fumbling planet full of unbelievers?

When I think about the Lord quietly sitting on His throne and waiting—right prior to His finally losing His patience—I see a saddened and deeply thoughtful, TRUE GOD waiting for His creation to choose to come to their senses. And yet hardly anyone, not even many of His own blood-adopted children, are drawing near to Him seeking His will, comfort and omniscience in what clearly appears to be the beginning of this planet’s and people’s very last ‘time of trouble’.

It turns out that my father obviously never murdered me. But he was absolutely right in his predictions, given the limited material with which he had to work. His later born-again son took too long to catch up with his hard-earned wisdom. And I, very admittedly, eventually had to meet my Heavenly Father in order to achieve any ability to hopefully have made some sense in anything I have written above. Nevertheless, the fact remains that we are currently in way over our heads. The approaching, treacherous, final fork in the road of our existence is, I believe, directly ahead of us. And, judging by our performance to date (cutting to the chase), a Joe Biden will serve to do little more than grease the chute to total chaos and destruction. And Donald Trump, victim of constant media abuse and criticism, could be our very last chance at some much-needed GRACE. I pray that we don’t get what we deserve.

Gates Funding Genetically Altered Mosquitoes

Oxford-based genetic engineering firm Oxitec has announced a partnership with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation to develop a new strain of mosquitoes to combat the spread of malaria. However, while the Gates Foundation has focused on the Mosquito, there has been a covert engineering project to develop a mosquito that spreads vaccine instead of disease. This has already been achieved (see Science Magazine).

There are those who have simply embarked upon genetically altering the world in which we live without and consideration for the long-term consequences. Australia learned its lesson of what happens when you mess with Mother Nature. There were two species of beetles that were decimating sugar cane crops. The beetle’s larvae were eating the roots of the sugar cane and stunting, if not killing, the plants. The anticipated solution was to import the cane toad in 1935.

The scheme backfired completely became the cane toads cannot jump very high so they did not eat the beetles. Instead, the cane toads began going after everything else from insects, bird’s eggs and even native frogs. Since the toads are poisonous, they began to kill would-be predators. The toll on native species has been immense. Australia became invested with cane toads that kill everything other than the beetles.

All this genetic manipulation can have devastating long-term effects. As always, such people are incapable of understanding the long-term ramifications. Like a rain forest, remove on species and you set off a chain-reaction where others who relied upon that species as a food source die which in turn was a food source for yet another species. It is like Adma Smith’s Invisible Hand for the economy is never created by governmental design, but by individuals seeing an opportunity and filling that nitch.

Defunding Police – Is This the Right Choice or the Next Step in Revolution?

All of the protests making this a racist issue have distorted the real problem which remains immunity created by the Supreme Court. We must look at these protests in their historical context for calling them simply racist rather than abuse of power hides them from the view of these events forming part of a revolutionary cycle. We must step back and look at these events not in the context of simply race or those who have exploited this to simply loot stores. The central position is one of police brutality and the lack of any accountability.

There are more whites killed by police than blacks which further illustrates that this is not a racist problem but one of no accountability because of this qualified immunity which is not supported by the constitution. This should not be Black Lives Matter, but ALL Lives Matter. The riots have spread worldwide as in Paris over police abuse further illustrating that the core issue is the fact that governments are not accountable to the people.

Why has this one incident cascaded into a global contagion? Because of this COVID-19 virus abuse of locking people down which has resulted in people losing their jobs which has exceeded 300 million on a worldwide basis, this provides the incentive to protest regardless of the incident. Following the Panic of 1837, massive unemployment took place and this was the period when the Irish immigrants where fleeing to the United States. This resulted in actual gun battles on the streets in Philadelphia because the Irish were willing to work for less during a period of significant unemployment. It is simply human nature to rise up during economic declines.

During the Great Depression, it was the Bonus Army where veterans were demanding their promised bonuses. The Hoover government sent in the troops even with tanks in 1932 to force them to leave. We saw the same with the Coxley’s Army which was the march on Washington following the Panic of 1893 and massive unemployment. What the governments have done with these lockdowns have set the stage for these protests. It is only human nature to take that frustration out after losing your job and this issue of the police has simply exposed the corruption within the entire system which extended from journalists to politicians. We cannot attribute this exclusively to racism. This has been the first global contagion of a mass uprising because governments have suppressed the rights of the people, destroyed their jobs, and have abused their power in destroying the livelihood of so many people.

Many police forces have militarized and this creates the image mentally of an opposing force against the people. Suddenly, we now see the technology companies who have been so actively assisting governments to go after the public from illegal red-light cameras to creating systems for the police to use facial recognition software to target individuals. Camera and facial recognition software  track who is even walking down the street.

These high tech companies are suddenly realizing perhaps they have been on the wrong side of history and it would not take much for the mob to turn against the companies that have helped create this police state. IBM disavowed the facial recognition technology entirely and CEO Arvind Krishna condemned its use “by other vendors, for mass surveillance, racial profiling, violations of basic human rights and freedoms.” Amazon responded by putting only a one-year moratorium on police use of its Rekognition software, closely followed by Microsoft’s promise not to sell the technology to US police. These companies have had no problem exploiting the public for profit.

These are the same technology companies who jumped at the chance of creating tracking apps for this orchestrated coronavirus all to further erode our basic human rights. Then there is Bill Gates who wants to track every person on the planet and pushing his ID 2020 and digital vaccine markers claiming he is not destroying people’s privacy. Microsoft constantly updates windows downloading everything you look for so they can sell your computer use to companies for advertising.

This entire issue of rioting against the police is historically part of the Revolutionary Cycle. We have already reached Stage TWO which is a serious warning of what lies ahead.

The FIRST STAGE in a revolution is always the the rise of intellectual whistleblower disagreement which government simply ignores as a passing phase. This stage is the realization of corruption and and injustice of governmental rule. Perhaps the symbolization of this was the revelation of Edward Snowden that the government was violating the constitution and abusing its power against the people constructing a 100% surveillance state tapping into every phone call and email account of every citizen. Then there was the British whistleblower Katharine Gun who they charged but could not put on trial without exposing themselves. They labelled both as a traitors as if the government possessed inherent power of sovereignty and the people were the great unwashed economic slaves.

As Thomas Pain described they confuse themselves as the political embodiment of the nation rather than the people. This is the intellectual stage which governments refuse to admit mistakes and simply ignores the cries of injustice.

The SECOND STAGE is where the intellectual debates prove pointless and this is where the initial conflict begins. This corruption has run its course and governments transform justice into their own self-interest. This stage is usually accelerated by governments raising taxes in the midst of an economic decline. The economic hardships may vary per individual but as a whole they will tend to focus upon the prosecutorial arm of government which includes the police who will far too often claim they are moral under the pretense of simply following orders.

This is when history will typically produce some leader who can be a moderate that sees the problem and will often try to reason in order to reach a resolution which is ignored by the government. This further intensifies the feelings of injustice especially in light of the economic decline. The leadership can also be seized by extremists who demand complete change such a Lenin. This initial stage results in the first demands change with protests rising. The mobs rarely are able to even articulate the reform because they then make demands that they want certain actions which go far beyond what they actually need. This is where mobs will often turn to revenge rather than justice. Governments will typically refuse to reform and become often very defensive.

Otis-James

In February 1761, James Otis, Jr. (1725–1783) argued brilliantly against the Writs of Assistance that was authorized in 1660 by the King but became an instrument of tyranny in 1758 in the American colonies as a means to raise taxes. Writs of Assistance allowed the government to arbitrarily search whatever they suspected for any reason. For nearly five hours, Otis made a brilliant oration in court against the Writs, but he lost the case, for what judge would ever rule against his master? John Adams later wrote that the child independence was then and there born, [for] every man of an immense crowded audience appeared to me to go away as I did, ready to take arms against writs of assistance.”  As Thrasymachus warned about 2600 years ago, justice is only the interest of the state regardless of its form being democratical, aristocratical, or tyrannical.

Shakespeare’s famous line “The first thing we do, let’s kill all the lawyers” (Henry VI, Part 2, Act IV, Scene 2) reflects the injustice for the people could not hire a lawyer only the king making them prosecutors. This stage is typically sparked by an economic decline which further breaks the employment and suppresses even harder the poor. During the American Revolution the slogan was “No Taxation without Representation” and the French Revolution used the words of Marie Antoinette: “Let them eat cake.” The French Revolution began on Saturday June 7th, 1788, when merchants closed down their shops as groups of 300 to 400 formed, armed with stones, sticks, axes, bars.  They seized cathedral’s bells which became a call to all French peasants which the crowd grew swiftly. The Royal Navy soldiers injured a 75-year-old man with a bayonet drawing the first sight of blood. The people became enraged tearing up the streets and they climbed onto the roofs throwing down the roof-tiles on the soldiers. The soldiers took refuge in a building and began to shoot through the windows into the crowd. By six PM, a crowd estimated at ten thousand people began shouting “Long live the parliament.” They finally agreed to to refuse to pay all taxes not voted by the Estates-General and they demanded an end to arbitrary imprisonment – police abuse.

Maximilien Robespierre (1754-1794) pursued a planned socialist economy and he grew paranoid about any opposition and unleashed the Reign Of Terror of 1793–1794 to silence all enemies of the Revolution. He was overthrown by the moderates who had Robespierre executed on July 28, 1794. His famous quote: “The secret of freedom lies in educating people, whereas the secret of tyranny is in keeping them ignorant.” This remains the core of fake news today.

Even Lenin who declared “All Power to the Soviets” (Collected Works, Vol. 25: June-September 1917(Moscow: Progress Publishers, 1964), 155-56) presented a lucid strategic indication, which projected the course of the revolution and the construction of socialism through the seizure of power by the soviets. Lenin elaborated: “The imperialist war was bound, with objective inevitability…to turn into a civil war between the hostile classes” (Collected Works, Vol. 23: August 1916-March 1917 (Moscow: Progress Publishers, 1964), 299.)

In Russia, on Sunday, January 9th, 1905, the people began to march unarmed and locking arms to see the Tsar. Some carried religious icons and banners, as well as national flags and portraits of the Tsar. At 2 pm all of the converging processions were scheduled to arrive at the Winter Palace in Russia. There was no single confrontation with the troops. The infantry was backed by Cossacks and Hussars. As reported, the soldiers simply opened fire on the crowd and were not provoked. The official number of victims was 92 dead and several hundred wounded.  Some leaders vanished and others were seized. Expelled from the capital, they circulated through the empire telling everyone “The Tsar will not help us!” The government suppressed the uprising, but this would only fuel the discontent in the years ahead.

Niccolò Machiavelli (1469-1527) explained that because people are “quick to change their nature when they imagine they can improve their lot,” he wrote, a leader must also be shrewd. “The fact is that a man who wants to act virtuously in every way necessarily comes to grief among so many who are not virtuous. Therefore, if a prince wants to maintain his rule he must be prepared not to be virtuous, and to make use of this or not according to need.” Machiavelli rejected the philosopher’s view of politics being a good leader is one who is humble, moral and honest. Instead, Machiavelli said quite frankly, “It is better to be feared than loved, if you cannot have both.”

Modern politicians simply lie to our face while rejecting kindness or morality. They follow Machiavelli who argued that “Making an example of one or two offenders is kinder than being too compassionate, and allowing disorders to develop into murder and chaos which affects the whole community.” Indeed, people like Snowden are demonized by politicians as an example not to betray government for the sake of the people, morality, or justice. Machiavelli  also warned that keeping one’s word can also be dangerous since “experience shows that those who do not keep their word get the better of those who do.”

Therefore, the Second Stage is one of rising protests and discontent with initial confrontation against the government who relies upon the police state they have created. As long as the police continue to support the government against the people, this will inevitably lead to the next next Revolutionary stage.

The THIRD STAGE is where it often becomes outright war in the streets as governments seek to retain power and refuse to see the error of their ways. In some revolutions, such as the Nika Revolt of 532AD, the police side with the people or stand back. In the case of the Ukrainian Revolution against Yanakovich, once the police saw that the people coming to the aid of the president were Russians, the police switched sides and supported the people. In the case of the Nika Revolt, the government called in the army who then massacred the people and the police. In the case of the American Revolution, the central power was in England and not local. This allowed the local authorities to differentiate themselves from the British.

In the case of the Russian Revolution of 1991, Boris Yeltsin stood on the tank as asked the army not to fire upon their own people. Once the military power stood down, the government fell. It will always depend upon the loyalty of the police and army as to how a revolution will unfold.

The FOURTH STAGE is retribution when in a domestic revolution in direct confrontation with the government and head of state. In the case of the American Revolution, the head of state was not within reach. However, they confiscated property and hung those who supported the king. Of course, in the case of the Russian Revolution, they executed the entire Romanov family. This is the phase of evening the score for years of suppression and injustice.

The former head of state is often publicly killed and typically all their ministers. This was the case not just during the Russian Revolution, but the French Revolution with Louis XVI an his wife but the English Revolution where they seized King Charles I and beheaded him in public as well. There have also been incidents of assassination even after a loss as was the case with Abraham Lincoln in 1865.

The FIFTH STAGE is typically the recovery stage where a new form of government emerges from the ashes. The intelligent political Moderates take power as was the case in the United States typically on the ideas of some Utopian system. Once again, this differs insofar as the political power was in England rather than America so there was not a wholesale murder campaign of all former ministers. In the case of the French Revolution, after the retribution stage where even the moderates were killed by the radicals led by Robespierre who seized control. As the French Revolution fell into the hands of Robespierre (1758-1794) he began a Reign of Terror (September 5, 1793-July 27, 1794) that would come to an end with his own death. This was followed by more uprisings and eventually the French Constitution was drafted (August 22-September 23, 1795), and approved with the Directory taking power.

It is during this recovery stage where the radicals are usually overthrown and sometimes a new head of state emerges such as Napoleon or Oliver Cromwell. In the case of the United States where the former head of state was not local, the bureaucracy begins and we see the rise of political parties and divisions emerge once again between opposing political views. There is at this point the restoration of a sense of nationalism but the cycle of corruption slowly begins to take root.
